Thank you. Thank you. What's up, homies?
Happy Wednesday.
What's up, homies?
Can you guys hear me?
Oh, switching over.
There we go.
What's up, homies? I'm, like, pressing buttons.
I don't know.
I don't know what the deal is.
I don't know.
every time I get on here and have my Bluetooth headset,
it just doesn't click over and work.
I don't think people can hear me when I'm talking.
What's up homies.
Happy Wednesday.
Happy Wednesday. Happy Wednesday.
It's a beautiful Wednesday here in Vegas. It's hot.
Ooh, the summer is bringing the heat. It's cooled off here. We've got clouds all over the place. Yeah, so it's cooled off here, which is nice. It's been really humid and really hot, so we'll take a break from that.
So, um, it's hot. I've been just chilling at home yesterday. I took an edible and watched
this movie called, oh my God, death of the unicorn. Whoa. Have you seen that movie yet?
Don't let your children watch it, by the way. No, it sounds crazy. It was very crazy.
children watching by the way no it sounds crazy it was very crazy
but with enhanced effects it was fun and i honestly i kept falling asleep i would just
i would nod off and then like oh my god what is happening so i got to go back and actually kind of
recap on what i saw but it it was a very interesting movie.
I just said when I was in the mood, it's been a couple of long days.
I was like, I want to not do anything. I just want to be like, you know, a brain dump.
And that was definitely an interesting movie.
That sounds pretty wild.
Honestly, the name just evokes a lot of imagination so that's pretty crazy
i think it was yesterday i was reading that um they're trying to pass i don't know like it's a
law or like regulation or what it actually is, but they're trying to allow crypto to be used in home sales, which I thought was really cool.
Interesting, though, because obviously we all know the value of crypto goes up and down.
But how cool would that be if you could use your crypto?
And I think they even said that you don't have to take it out of your wallet.
You don't have to remove it.
You could just send it over.
Yeah, I dig that.
I would imagine a bunch of crypto people have already bought homes,
but probably not with the crypto specifically.
So yeah, it's really nice.
Because as you know, homies,
if you switch your crypto into something else than what it is,
it's basically a taxable event. So that's kind of nice, especially on a big purchase like a house.
That's going to be so fun and interesting when it actually, if and when it actually happens. I have a lot of friends that are into real estate.
So I've been kind of like dropping hints to some of my friends, not, you know, just like suggesting they, you know, follow some of the crypto stuff and things are changing and you never know who might have crypto that wants to buy a house.
So this is going to be really interesting to kind of watch this grow.
And I would like to see somebody that I know
sell a house or buy a house through crypto.
That'd be really awesome.
Did you get any chance to look online today and see any like hot or trending things that are happening?
Oh, I've been trying to find some different things for the Paddle Path today.
It was a little bit difficult
but uh yeah there's a lot of stuff going on for sure i haven't seen honestly i haven't been in
the crypto scene for a minute i've been doing a lot of other stuff and i definitely keep an eye
on the nft scene a little bit i just check the prices of crypto. I don't really see what's happening right now in the last couple weeks for sure.
So I hear little bits and pieces of news, but I'm a little bit disconnected from the crypto right now.
There's all kinds of stuff that's just I mean like pudgy penguins they're just always doing
something like it seems like they're always there's another collab that's coming up
um I think I saw they were just like teasing McDonald's a McDonald's thing like every now
and then you get on here and you're like oh my gosh is that what's happening then you realize
you're like oh no that's actually not not what's happening? Then you realize you're like, oh no, that's actually not what's happening.
But OpenSea, I've been following OpenSea and just kind of like peeking around a little
because the website has definitely changed.
And I still go there and I'm like, what am I doing?
I don't know what I'm doing.
I kind of liked the simplicity that it used to be but I
you know you got to get used to things and changes so I'm trying to make myself um like familiar with
the new layout yeah i definitely noticed that is a little bit more difficult to navigate but yeah like with
anything the more you more you do it it's the better or you get at it right so that's
a good thing i do enjoy the dark mode which i'm glad they had that on there yeah it is so speaking of OpenSea I wanted
to kind of talk a little bit about OpenSea because tomorrow they have a space that they're going to be be hosting, um, 8 30 AM for me, which is pretty, pretty early. Um, no, but it's basically there,
the future is mobile. So they're going to start doing things. I don't know if they're going to
have an app, uh, but they're going to talk about like stuff that they have set out for the future
of the phone, like mobile phone and, um, what that looks like. And I think that's cool. I follow a lot of the stuff here on the Strip too.
And I know that online gaming is like a big thing
because the casino industry has been saying,
a lot of people are really into the phones,
they're really into the gaming online, on the phone.
And so this is really cool too.
Another thing to follow
where people are really honing in on the mobile devices.
So that's tomorrow.
If you go to the OpenSea's X page,
you can see their post about it
and you can set your reminders for their spaces tomorrow.
I'm excited.
It's interesting to see the changes with OpenSea.
That is really the marketplace that I've used mostly to buy.
I don't really sell a lot of NFTs. If I do, I mean, it's just a very few of them that I've ever
sold. But I think it's really cool that they're changing and they're growing with the times. I
know there's a lot of, been a lot of times where people have said some positive and some negative things about openc
and um they still continue to be a big uh player in the space
yeah i keep hearing about the token they were talking about uh the types of users like did
you come in the nft bull run in 21 and then leave have you been
around still doing stuff or are you just like a farmer so i guess they're building profiles for
the users of openc uh for the token drop that is coming so that'll be interesting because uh
there's definitely some people that do a lot of volume. I think like Pranksy is one of the biggest monthly volume buyers and sellers of NFTs and they do like 50 million.
It's crazy.
Have you been following anything that has to do with Zora?
nope it just comes up on my on my research but i don't uh this is something i haven't been
super interested in so i haven't checked it out you know there's so many different things
so they too have a social app made for the creator economy. You post, what is it? Every post and profile is instantly
tradable coin. Double tap to buy coins, long press to swap with coins in your holdings.
Creators earn 1% of every trade. So I remember hearing about Zora.
Oh, my gosh. Like, I want to say, like, three years ago, maybe?
Two years ago, maybe?
Somebody that was really in this space who's not in this space a lot anymore.
She was really like, go mint your free Zora.
Did you ever do that, Pablo?
Did you ever get your Zora ball?
No, that one's escaping me on that one. Okay, so I have a Zora ball. I don't know if it does
anything or what it's for, if it even means anything anymore. But I keep seeing these
little Zora balls and I'm like, hey, I have one of those. I think I actually have two of them in my wallet. I'm not quite sure what they're used for, but I do know that people
have been navigating, you know, from different platforms to trade coins to Zora and making,
of course, lots of, um, questionable token money, fake internet money. Um, but the people that have
been doing it, it seems like it's been
pretty successful. But then, you know, everything that is super hyped up comes down, obviously,
always. So there's like a little bit of drama that had happened earlier in the week with him.
And I'm not quite sure what it was. But I'm sure you can figure it out if you look online. But
I think it's really cool. i'm interested to see what's
more what comes what comes from this what we can get out of this i don't know what i'm trying to say
i think there's always some kind of hope for utility out of an nft right like
i think it's awesome if you're buying it for art but other
than that like you know researching these nfts they're always tying it into something like
most of them are some of them are just like hey we're building this cool project and these isn't
this art suite like join the community and and we'll have fun and we'll expand into something right i think that's kind of a lot of those going
on but yeah when you when you get an nft and they're like proposing these things or this is
what's on the roadmap i kind of expect that to happen in some way shape or form it's just when
you get so many nfts if you're like collecting them and you're not really like basing it on like okay this is the
node that i want to use for collecting mean coins and front-running people on their transactions
like some kind of utility that i get out of that right of a product of some sort so yeah i agree
with you uh definitely there's a mix of those NFTs still launching.
And I think with Bitcoin doing its thing and then some altcoins popping off,
people have some profit that they want to shuffle back into NFTs.
So I have seen a lot of that kind of action happening in the last week or so.
What's up, Solar Breezy?
Happy Wednesday.
Grand Rising, happy Weed Wednesday.
It is definitely weed wednesday it's uh after spaces i'm going on my journey oh what kind of journey are you going on my wacky weed wednesday journey
it sounds like you're about to get crazy with a lot of weed is that sure well yesterday i took
an edible and watched a movie and so like today i was been pretty mellow i got up really early
um i enforced a new rule for myself that i wasn't going to partake in anything until I had all of my stuff that I need
to get done because I was starting to lose focus a little bit um I don't know maybe I think I'll
just blame it on the summer the summer because the summer has been super cool here now it's starting
to get really hot where you just don't want to go outside and like that real heat is about to hit so um yeah so I look
forward to the time so it's like getting off of work I guess and there's like a bunch of new
movies I have this like Amazon this broken Amazon thing and people upload movies and so
um there's a couple new movies on there that I want to watch. So, yeah, I'm kind of, like, excited to partake and maybe watch a couple movies later on today.
That's cool.
What are you smoking on today?
Well, I have my edibles.
So I am, I'm going light, um, 25 milligrams of THC to 25 milligrams of CBD is what I'm going to be drinking while I watch my shows.
So I'm going light.
I've been watching Portlandia a lot lately.
Pablo and I, um, in addition to the homies, we do have side adventures, um um and side quests that we have to accomplish and one of
mine is portlandia and i don't know a ton of the new portlandia so uh i was watching some portlandia
over the weekend and the you know these guys are really funny there's like a i would say 2016 to 2017 Portlandia.
I didn't really pay attention to or watch.
So I did see a couple of the last from the last season, but it's been fun.
I don't know if you guys have ever watched any of those shows.
Yeah, that's not on my quest list.
I don't watch a lot of shows.
I watch movies, and that is about it i mean i watched some baking shows i do occasionally
will run into some shows that i'll watch like the two seasons of or whatever like binge it but
that's been you know a year or two years since i've been watching some of that stuff.
If something is good and someone suggests it, I'll try.
I'll try watching it.
But I don't know.
I like to go back and watch old movies, too.
Like, I'll just play them in the background.
I love cartoons. Cartoons, like, are my, like, I used to love to and watch old movies, too. Like, I'll just play them in the background. I love cartoons.
Cartoons, like, are my, like, I used to love to watch cartoons all the time.
I don't watch cartoons as much anymore.
I wish that Thundercats would make a movie.
But I have not watched Thundercats in a long time,
but that was a cool cartoon that I did like when I was younger.
Yeah, there's some really good stuff out there.
I mean, we were going through a catalog of just like
old school nickelodeon shows and like going through like the 90s into the early 2000s
like some of the cartoons back then they just had like really good jokes they were
maybe some of them were probably not for children because now like when i look at content made for
kids it's like you know very clearly made for kids like bluey when i was younger i probably would never watch
something like bluey um but it caters to what the kids like now because when i was younger
we had like the chipmunks the chipmunks alvin and the Chipmunks. Let's go.
I did want to do 419.
420 news in a minute, homies.
So give me a moment.
I'm wrapping up this graphic and then we'll bust that out it's 322 in the east coast here but I have 420 news in a minute here so let me finish up this
little thing right here and I'll be able to rock that out Solo, so do you have any good shows or anything that you like to watch?
So I'm different.
I watch shows people are not watching or like I'm a fan of certain shows.
So my favorite show is right now, current show is Power.
So like I'm a big Power fan
and I like watching a lot of 50 Cent produce stuff.
So I like that, like mainstream stuff.
But it's something I'll watch that people aren't watching.
Mayor Kingstown, if you guys check that out, that's like a prison.
It's a dark prison show.
If you watch it, it's about a mayor trying to control money, power, drugs between gangs, but in prison.
It's pretty interesting show.
It's called Mayor of Kingstown.
That's a pretty good show.
It's a different, unique show.
So I watch unique shows that people aren't watching.
So that's one of my shows.
Another favorite show of mine is it ended six seasons called Animal Kingdom.
Animal Kingdom is about, like, people robbing to get money.
But it's all about power in a family.
So I watch different types of shows.
All right.
I'm going to try your suggestion on Animal Kingdom.
We'll see what that's about.
I've seen, I watched a couple of episodes of Power.
Because my friend like watches that show too.
So I come in and out of Power, so I don't know exactly what's going on.
But it's a cool show.
Have you ever seen, this is like way old school, on HBO, The Wire?
Yeah, I watched The Wire, I want to say two summers ago, three summers ago
I watched The Wire. I watched it. It was a very interesting
experience for myself to watch it. It's really good.
I also watched The Sopranos too. I love The Sopranos.
I'm a huge Sopranos.
Because I was going to say The Wire is kind of like in that vein of stuff that you're the sopranos too i love the sopranos like i'm a huge sopranos because i was gonna say the wire
is kind of like in that vein of stuff that you're talking about like kind of movies yeah
the cool thing yeah the cool thing with the wire is though is like the when they start using the
cell phone um because like they didn't really use a cell phone as much and they still used pay phones and like, you know,
now back in the day, you know,
they're running drugs out of pay phone
and brown paper bags.
And now we've got people that are trying to do stuff online
through spaces or however, TikTok.
However, TikTok, it's just funny how we evolve.
It's just funny how we evolve.
Yeah, it's an interesting time.
We consume music differently.
I used to do, like, mixtapes and CDs and iPod touches.
Now it's all about streaming.
It's different.
I know it was so fun back when you like when back when people really used iTunes because now it's
like Apple music and I was like thinking about that the other day I used to make so many playlists
and iTunes and I had I'm going through the adventure not yet eventually I'm going through
the adventure of going through an
old computer to clean up and get pictures the only thing that's really in there is the pictures
in my iTunes because I have like so many playlists that I've made throughout the years
and I wish I wish it that the Apple features still functioned like that.
Man, that just reminded me of the stupidest thing, but whatever.
You know how I was talking about the kids watching Madagascar over the weekend and the niece and nephew,
and one scene in there, there like i have something to tell
you as the plane is crashing he's like what no don't tell me he's like i broke your ipod
and you and the zebra got so mad it was so funny business like getting mad over stupid silly stuff
it was funny but yeah that took me back to that uh i used to have an iPod for a long time. A little mini one.
It's great.
They were sweet tech.
It was cool.
I know. Because back then it was still an element of being creative when you put your music together.
Now it's just like buy the music.
Buy the music.
Stream it.
We've created an AI playlist for you.
And then if you do Spotify or anything, I don't do much of Apple.
But like with Spotify, they do the end of the year rap, like what you've listened to.
And I'm like, ew, don't tell me how obsessed I am over this song.
Like I know I am, but I don't need my electronic device telling me so.
Counting how many times I've actually listened to this song.
That's great.
I ran across something on
Twitter today. It was a song
The Salt Sub
Sultan of Swing.
Sultans of Swing, Dire Straits.
If you go to
Live in London 96,
they did a uh little tv show and they did like an eight minute version
of that song sultans of swing and is in 1996 it was such a jam they were doing uh like a solo
and it was like unrehearsed solo and it i mean it's pretty sweet i definitely uh sultan's a swing 1996 live in
london check that out it's like an eight minute video but if you're into like jams and like
just good music it's uh it's pretty powerful is it live yeah they're live in a little studio
it's not like it's not like a show it's a show obviously but it was for a tv show
and so the the studio is not like huge or anything like that but it's live
i was having a conversation with a friend of mine um so she doesn't like to watch any any music live as I thought was so weird because um the Ozzy Osbourne's concert that he just did a
couple weeks ago like the big concert that he did like his fail world concert I said hey we should
watch that I think they have a couple like copies or whatever on YouTube she She's like, no, I just, I can't watch the live concerts
and stuff like that. I was like, what? I think those were the best because like you can, you're
not there obviously, but like you can see them like live, like how they would be jamming out or,
you know, song switches sometimes are different or just different things like that. She's like, no, I can't watch anything live.
I just don't like anything live.
And I feel like I had another friend, too, who only listened to top 40s.
So like if we would get into her car, you could not change the music because she had
to know like what the music was.
And it was always just like top 40s.
song after like 30 or 40 seconds to if she didn't like it like or she would listen to the hook and
then she would get bored and change it really quick so I'm like I wonder if they kind of have
the same like train of thought where like they can only focus on something that they've known
over and over again whereas I'm like I want to hear another version of it.
Like I'll seek out different versions of the song.
I don't know if you guys do that either.
I've definitely done that before.
Like the Beatles,
like they're very classic,
You can find people who
have remade so many of their songs same thing with um what's his name Elton John
oh I love some remixes or some songs where they'll put different stuff to it that isn't
usually there like a remix you know those are sweet. I always dig those.
Yeah, and that's what that farewell concert was.
It was like different bands playing Aussie's music.
I'm like, how could you not like that?
Yeah, interesting.
No, I love me some live music.
That's where it's at um going through independent film channel that's the youtube page
that portlandia uh most of the clips and stuff are on that the short clips that i was watching
um they have like a lot of stuff on there that
I've never even seen because there was like periods of times where I don't
watch anything right and now because it's streaming like you can go back and
watch anything so I thought maybe I should go back and see what else they
got that is funny to watch and another one that I've been doing is kids in the
hall there another funny sketch comedy group of people that they're pretty interesting and funny.
And they were like so, I remember so many people when I was younger in high school that really liked Kids in the Hall.
And when I was younger in high school, I didn't watch TV at all.
TV at all. I like never turned the television on. So a lot of these things I didn't find
I like never turned the television on.
out until like I was in my 20s out of out of my house. And like, then I was like, Oh,
I guess I'll watch cable television. It was fun. I mean, cable is okay. Now I think about
it because it, it was still like, you still had to go home to your house to watch it.
Right? Now you can watch anything
no that's right um i know no that's right
the kids definitely had their candles and their parents bones going up here it's funny
like oh man you guys can't quite get the camping thing down with nothing but that's all right i
think they're doing good they're like four and ten or something like that so
so i think they did really good for being out of their element and whatnot too for the weekend.
Man, I haven't gone camping in a long time.
It's been years.
Well, homies, I am bringing back 419, 420 news in a minute.
So let me take a big old breath here and we'll get this done.
We're going to, don't time me yet because I think we're a little bit over,
but we've got some pretty good information here. So we've got the 419, 420 news in a minute.
Here we go.
Starting with fresh setback in Minnesota,
voters in Albert Lee decisively rejected
the city's first proposed cannabis retailer on July 29th,
highlighting local resistance to commercialization
and potentially delaying economic opportunities
from legal sales, even as statewide legalization advances.
And I was in Minnesota, and I can tell you,
two years later, they still don't
have retail locations open. Over in New York, LeafWall is shaking things up with their groundbreaking
cannabis care program. It was launched on July 23rd as a mission-driven effort to improve access
to cannabis-based healthcare, setting a potential new standard through implied collaborations with
industry stakeholders.
Shifting over to tech innovations, cannabis-infused beverages are exploding in popularity with U.S. sales topping 382 million so far just this year alone, amid rapid market expansion
and high consumer demand proving that drinkable highs are bubbling over as the next big wave
in consumption trends. Meanwhile, Cannotrol is teaming up with Rhythm
to blend cutting-edge cultivation tech with rapid growth strategies,
leveraging Canatrol's leadership in the field for synergistic advancements
that could transform how growers scale operations efficiently.
So they're going to be doing some real fast growing of
marijuana there. Enforcement is not slowing down. Policemen in Hornell, New York raided a store on
a recent Thursday afternoon, arresting the owner on drug-related charges and seizing 20 pounds of
marijuana, underscoring continued crackdowns on illegal operations. And for a global twist,
if you're eyeing Spain's weed clubs, brush up on your membership requirements and the specific legal framework to avoid risks like social challenges or misunderstandings.
There's some news for you on the 420 front in a minute.
Great job. You didn't pass out.
Great job. You didn't pass out.
I wanted to make sure you guys still got the information, too, at the same point.
So do you have any new strains that you've been um trying lately pablo
i busted out some stuff i've had uh store away for a while called pineapple upside down cake
which is uh pretty good real dense sticky weed uh more like the hybrid sativa side, I would say. And yeah, some good stuff.
Just had to trim off some old leaves off of it and stuff like that.
But yeah, that's it.
I don't know what Tex had last night at League.
He had a good pre-roll joint that tasted really good.
You know, most people don't seem to really know exactly what they have,
but they just don't remember what
when they bought it so uh yeah unknown strain yesterday is really good
how about you solo
um i posted what i was taking down in the comments. I'm taking a chocolate bar. I took like two little pieces.
Oh wow, that definitely looks like fun. Okay, see, I wish we could get the 3,000 milligrams.
We get 100.
That's it.
Max is 100 here.
Oh, wow, that's it. Max is 100 here. Oh, wow.
That's crazy.
Yeah, it is crazy.
I think about it when I went to California.
I'm like, I kept telling myself, make sure you go to the dispensary because you can get the 1,000 milligram edibles.
And I didn't set any time to do that.
And so when I got back here, it like oh gosh a hundred milligrams but if you do have your medical cards you can obviously get more here in Nevada but yeah it's a hundred a hundred
milligrams per edible nothing more um which I mean if you really wanted to you could eat a couple of things, but that's a lot to eat. Mm-hmm.
I took, so that says each piece is 3,500.
So I only took two pieces.
Now, if I would take the whole bar times the 15 pieces times the 3,000, that's 45,000 milligrams if you would eat the whole bar of that you'd be soothing forever
that's wild
yeah i have some chocolates uh that are cinnamon roll flavored they're rso chocolates they're uh
pie shaped and you can break them off into like little little pieces like little slivers they're
like 10 milligrams or five milligrams or something like that i've yet to mess with those yet rso gummies
i've had a package of those for about a month and each time i try and i just uh
i'm not sure that these couple there's another package i got too white boy rick i don't know if
y'all never know about white boy rick but he got his own weed business going a legal one and uh you've got gummies too
but they taste great but i just i'm not sure they really are doing their thing and those are live
resin gummies the other ones are rso and not feeling it from them either so but i know you
just had your rso you tried that right lauren and that worked good for you right
Lauren and that were good for you right yeah I mean it basically just makes you really mellowed
out I do like it and I um it's something where it's like okay if I want to deep relax like
I know I can't take it and try to watch a movie because I know I'll end up falling asleep
yeah I hear you there.
That's for sure.
That's what I've been looking for, honestly,
is something to make me pass out for like six hours straight.
Wouldn't that be the Rick Simpson oil?
That would, right?
Yeah, that should do it.
That's why I got those RSO gummies, but maybe I need to eat like half the package at once or something.
You need it all.
That chocolate bar looks fire.
What's up?
I dropped that link that I was talking about too.
The Sultans of Swing, a night in London, 1996.
So if y'all want to just jump on that YouTube like you can't but yeah, this looks bomb little milk chocolate
And only thing that would make that better for me is some dark chocolate
But this I like this label this package everything. Oh strawberry shortcake. Let's go
3000 milligrams
Well, see you later
Yeah milligrams well see you later yeah yeah I've been on vacation so I only took two hmm sorry I need to quit two pieces because I was like I'm going back to
work tomorrow I don't think if I take him take like a lot of it I don't think
I'll be able to go back to work.
And Ozzy Osbourne's funeral procession was today, too.
I love Ozzy.
My first song was Crazy Train by him.
My first son was Crazy Train by him.
Love that dude.
Love that dude.
Yeah, we cranked that last week
when we found out, too.
It's a cranking crazy thing.
It's probably the best jam, honestly, for me.
I mean, that thing rips.
I definitely liked his Osmosis album.
It reminds me of being in high school,
because that was when he came out with that album.
He was solo Ozzy.
What was it? Randy Rhodes was the original guitarist. He was definitely doing some major tasty licks on the guitar.
What was it, Randy Rhoades, his original guitarist?
yeah it's interesting to see how like um again so many people take inspiration from Black Sabbath
I think it was like T-Pain was one of them that did a song with um Ozzy Osbourne's music in the
background and like people had no idea that was Ozzy that was that was mind-blowing
for me yeah those are the cool crossovers I'm talking about I like those I definitely was an interesting person throughout his life.
I do have to say though I think that the whole Aussie brand and what they did and their impact
in like the music industry and even reality television and into social media is like super
I feel like it's so it's very impactful but not super in your face and I feel like it's so, it's very impactful, but not super in your face.
And I mean, like with the card, like I use the Kardashians as an example, because I feel
like the Kardashians, I mean, there's obviously a lot in their family too, but it's like,
they're so in your face because, you know, the, the family members date other celebrities
or athletes, and then it's like gossip or entertainers.
And so it's just kind of like always around.
And they have like their different brands of alcohol and clothing.
When it came to like the Aussies,
it almost seemed like they went in with this brand
and then they pulled away
and then they kind of came back in a little bit,
but never really like in your face this is my empire type of family so and i liked how they did just like
their series of shows and then that was it like they never tried to really change to what reality
television has been because I feel like
reality television has gone through so many phases where it was like hours and
hours of recording content and then editing it to now it's more like curated
content to fit a narrative where they like kind of coerce people into doing things or give people ideas of what to say or what not to say.
So I think that's interesting. Look at it, too, because I think it was like the early 2000s was when that Osborne show came out.
Yeah, as original, some of the original reality tv for sure i think that was pretty
sweet that they did that and he was willing to go forward with that especially at the time where
he's you know out of the spotlight and then just kind of seeing him from behind the scenes behind
what he is doing on as for an entertainment purpose only so i mean of course that's entertainment too
but it's kind of just like here's the pull the curtain behind you know pull the curtain back
and let everybody see what's behind in the private life and people really dug that stuff that took off
for e channel really took them to a different heights too remember the rock of ages show or rock of love
that was like around that time too i think yeah oh yeah so then you think okay they're always
going to have some kind of show based off of love like a game show right like love connection
what was the other one um where they go on the blind dates was that love connection
anyways so like square two or something like that yeah and so then they go to like the rock of ages
and then now you have like love island which is just like oh my god i don't know if you guys have
ever seen love island i actually saw love Island for the first time this year.
And I was very shocked at how basically these new love competition shows are now.
And like, nothing is left to the imagination anymore.
Yeah, we've come quite a long way with that stuff lauren i cannot share any post if it's not my post someone else's post my friend's post not my friend's post i do have flip hoddle pass it's
episode 30 homies this week already can't believe 30 we've done this 30 times um episode 30 uh if if you can if you don't mind or solo breezy
if you're not in space if you could just grab my pinned post off my profile and share it at the
top that'd be great if not it's totally cool i can put it in the comments no worries i just wanted
homies to be able to see the projects that i have lined up for Flip Hottle Pass.
We're going to give three different projects.
We actually have one physical, two digital today.
And just going to give a little more
information about them. You guys can
check the tags and
seek them out on X if you want to do a little
of your DYO or
do your own research.
I'm not affiliated with any of these projects
in any way shape or form
this is not financial advice this is purely speculation and for fun it copies f merry kill
or sit bench start um if you're a sports guy kind of get the idea i'm going to give you three players
on sit bench start and then you decide where they belong right so it's the same idea
with flip hoddle pass three different drops collectibles that are dropping and then i'm
going to kick it over to my co-host lauren and she's going to select which one she wants to flip
hoddle or pass since solo breezy is up on stage you're absolutely welcome to play as well anyone
that's in the listening audience drop your decisions in
the comments and i will read them along we'll get that started here in a moment
thanks for dropping that up there we do have another nike skateboarding shoe
we have an nft on ape. Then we have another NFT,
which I had to do some,
a lot of research on to try and figure out really kind of what it is,
Some of this tech,
they're piggybacking on top of someone else's creation,
So there's lots of different stuff that's coming out.
And even if it's old stuff,
they're utilizing it in different ways. So S's lots of different stuff that's coming out. And even if it's old stuff, they're utilizing it in different ways.
So SISC, I'll break it down for you, what they are and what they're doing.
I don't have a lot of the information, but I think this one, if you are interested in it,
it might take a little while for you to kind of comprehend and understand what's going on.
So give you a little bit of a head start on this project.
Baked on Ape.
Thought it fit well with the homies.
My Homies in Dreamland by Cheech and Chong.
And then we've got the skateboarding shoe.
It's actually Air Max 95.
So it's a skateboarding shoe.
But we'll break that down in just a minute. If anybody else wants to jump up here on stage, you got to be 21 or older to play. 95. So, uh, it's a skateboard shoe, but yeah,
we'll break that down in just a minute.
If anybody else wants to jump up here on stage,
you gotta be 21 or older to play and we'll get you up here.
Otherwise we're going to get this rocking alone in just a moment.
I can't wait to hear about.
Yeah. exciting I can't wait to hear about so I will say homies the NFT scene has definitely heated up a little bit in the past I mean for us that are constantly in the business whether you're in crypto meme coins NFTs
there's always a bear and a bull market going on right it depends on what the
time frame you want to put it in terms of three months three years you want to do three weeks
three days you know so if you're in it and you're trading there's always a bear market and a bull
market going on so um as far as volume is concerned the volume volume isn't super crazy, but it's definitely picked up from where it was.
So for episode 30,
I just do want to run back last week's
Huff Skateboards
collaboration
with Marvel.
They did the Spider-Man.
They had 100 gold skateboards.
I don't know exactly how many
skateboards they were, but they're only 100 bucks.
I thought they were going to be a little bit more than that.
They sold out.
Astroverse on Abstract, they're doing a little bit of a million dollar fund.
And if you have a Web3 idea and you own an Astroverse, you can come to them.
come to them and if it's good enough they're going to help you get it going right and there's
And if it's good enough, they're going to help you get it going, right?
this whole thing where they're going as you make money they're going to want a little bit of that
right because they've got you started they got you going and things like that so um if you're
looking to kind of get an idea going check out astroverse they sold out as well and they are
on the abstract their floor is 0.03.
That's how much they sold for. And then the gutter cat gang on Bitcoin, they have gotten rid of 41 out of the 87.
Those are like almost $700 with Bitcoin.
But if you're looking for some provenance, they have the parent-child Bitcoin provenance going on there.
So if you remember that, it's like a parent-child thing.
The parent is a description on the block,
and then you can create them underneath of that.
So it just has to do with provenance
and more details of a collection, right?
The more rare, the more cool things I can say
about my collection is the more expensive, right?
Anyway, Baked on Ape is on Ape Chain.
It's going to be free.
There's 3,333 of them on August 6th.
This is Blubber Drop.
And Baked on Ape is a psychedelic explosion of vibrant, pulsing colors and zany characters from Baked Studio.
Explosion of vibrant, pulsing colors and zany characters from baked studio.
Dive into trippy, neon-charged wonderland of wild patterns and chaotic energy
that captures the joyful madness of existence in a dazzling spectacle.
So much more in store.
That's about all I've got.
Community hype, lots of whitelists for partner projects, big, big projects that are doing things and have active communities on Ape Chain.
So they're definitely looking for people that are participating, promo posts, collabs, so talking about future events.
So the artwork, bottom left, that's kind of what drew me to it, and the baked ape.
So they're free is another thing that's cool about them.
When there is that much information on a project, I love that it's free because I'm collecting it for the art, for the experience, whatever the case may be.
So go ahead and take a look at those guys on Ape Chain on the 6th.
Then we're going to head over to CISIC.
So this one is...
Let's just do this.
I had AI break it down for me a little bit because I was having a little difficulty.
So imagine CISIC is like a super smart tech team building the brains behind crypto and AI stuff.
Specifically, they make special computer hardware that proves things are true online without sharing secrets, also called ZK rollups or
zero knowledge proofs. Their Sysik node NFT is basically a digital collectible ticket
that lets you own or run part of their network. So it's a node, you're going to have a verifier
node, and it's not out yet, but they're these nfts as the first compute fi so they're turning raw computer power
into something you can own and earn from like staking in ai or crypto mine so uh don't have
a price on this you're going to need a whitelist spot so they're giving away access through those
with like galaxy quest raffles uh check their Discord being a super active poster in the community.
Top 500, get in.
So again, another reason why I'm putting this out there for you homies.
If you're interested in checking this out, there's a little bit of legwork to do in order to make sure that you're going to secure one for sure right at the beginning.
So you can share in real
AI rewards, potential earnings in their token, and helps join their decentralized network where
you mine digital assets or run AI tasks. So you own basically a piece of a powerful computer farm
that makes money while making the internet safer. So if you're into crypto gaming or
collecting, this could be fun, but it's definitely more tech than the art part of NFTs. So go ahead
and check them out. Their tag is going to be CYSIC underscore XYZ cystic. Then the final one is the shoe.
From the moment it dropped in the 90s, the Air Max 95's skeletal-inspired lines,
unique synthetic materials, and eye-catching pops of neon green captured the era's aesthetics.
Begging to be skated and documented, the Air Max 95's technical running design relegated the shoe to off-board grail. Tasked with adapting a running icon for skateboarding
and preserving the look that forged its legacy,
the Nike SB team embraced the challenge
and delivered on decades of dreams.
Pivoting from the signature synthetics of the original,
the Nike SB Air Max 95 features the suede and leather materials
the squad loves to skate.
Modifying the layers of reinforcement designed for the rigors of running, the SB Air Max 95 features
a lighter construction with flexible materials for board feel and the functionality skateboarding
needs. Known as a higher sitting silhouette, the SB Air Max 95 modified the insole for closer board
contact and added herringbone lugs to the outsole
for increased traction. Finished with Nike SB branding on the heel tongue and TPU shank,
the Nike SB Air Max 95 makes its skate debut in a summit white and cactus colorway with tonal hits
and a grippy gum rubber outsole. Homies, if you are looking for a sweet skate shoe,
check them out.
185 bucks.
They drop on the 22nd at 10 a.m.
So make sure you are ready for these bad boys.
I like the colorway on these personally.
But again, don't drop till the 22nd.
185 bucks um yeah the sb air max 95s summit white and cactus
flower i will say also uh nike released some embossed belts today they sold out
leather belts so they didn't even get to make it on to the hoddle pass. So Lauren, what do you think?
We've got a pretty mixed squad here.
We've got the SB95s and we've got the Cystic and we've got baked on Ape.
So a real fun art one, pretty technical NFT there that you can get some rewards from.
And the Nike SB Air Max 95 coming out.
What do you think?
One flip, hodl, or pass?
I'm going to hodl the SBs.
I'm going to flip the SISIC.
And then I'm going to pass on the little bears.
I don't want to, but that's the only pathway i have
yeah i like the pathway the hodl the shoes great move i think uh flipping the cystic i think people
knowing what i know about nfts uh there's going to be a whole group of people that are really into
this part of it so and then the and the, and the bake date, I understand the pass on it.
The artwork is really cool.
Um, beyond that, I couldn't find a lot of information on what they're doing.
So very cool community vibes, the artwork, you know, the, the whole journey of an NFT
and this community that they're building.
So kudos, kudos to them.
Kudos to you on your picks.
I think you'll like those.
Solo Breezy,
were you able to pick up anything out of that Flip Hodel Pass? Did you want to play?
The chocolate bar might have got to Solo give me one moment um yeah no worries
yeah so uh i'll run mine real quick absolutely will give solo a minute here to get himself
composed so i am going to i'm gonna hodl that SISC just for the fun of it
and see if I can get any passive returns off of it
and see what it's all about.
I'll flip those SBs.
SB Air Max 95s.
And hopefully get a nice little price off of that.
And then I, too, am going to pass on the baked ape.
Okay, I'm ready.
Shoot, go ahead.
So what I would do is the baked cape, I would huddle.
I would huddle that.
And the Nike, I would actually pass on that.
And I would take some of the S1.
Okay. dig it i dig it i think we got uh we got different for every oh lauren and i both
passed on the baked date but then we flipped our other ones uh that's cool. I dig it. So, yeah, no Nikes for you solo.
No worries.
Big tape and flipping on the SISC.
The reason I'm doing the Nike thing is because so many people are into shoes already.
So, they're into Jordans and Nikes.
They're separate, but, you know, they're one big thing.
And shoes go by quickly.
The value of the shoes go quickly.
It's like a car.
So I'd rather pass on that.
You can make money on it, but my thing about it is,
is it's really long-listic?
Yeah, exactly what we're looking for,
some other people's points of view and why are you doing
this right we're i think we all collect things here uh whether or not you're into nfts or rocks
or pencils or whatever the case may be um yeah we want to collect things um things that we like, right? Empath coming in
in the comments.
Flipping the Nike SBs,
huddling the baked
on ape like Solo,
and passing on the SISC.
Thank you, Empath. Appreciate you being here
again. Appreciate you showing up.
Can you remember
over the past few months, showed up
in the Discord playing Name That Tune on Tuesday.
So, appreciate you.
Homies, hanging with the homies.
I'm excited to see how this all pans out.
I know the hot item the last time was the Daft Punk hoodie.
It looks like we're getting a whole outfit over here.
I chose the SBs.
This was the theory that I went with because I was going to hodl the cystic because of all of the features.
the cystic because of all of the features but the reality is that I would probably wear those shoes
and I know that I'm not going to sell them because all of the other shoes I've bought in the past I've
never sold I just I'm not that person I've accepted it I've just I'm not that person
so I would like probably get them and wear them. And then like about a year
later, you wouldn't even be able to recognize them because I do that to shoes, especially when
they're that light in color. Yeah. Some of my favorite honestly is to get a light gray or a
white shoe. And oh my goodness, it can be real bad for some of them, depending on, you know,
like, well, these are kind of going to be the everyday wears.
And, yep, they were white at one time.
I mean, okay, so I know this is a stretch, and I have not done this yet.
But I got a gift last year, and I thought it was the sabotaged gift.
I don't know.
My friend bought me a pair of white shoes.
I've never owned a pair of white shoes.
Like, that's why I say it was a sabotaged.
Because, like, they know I'm like, how am I?
You know me.
How am I going to keep these clean?
So, I love those shoes.
After a while, I kind of even liked the way they looked dirty.
My friend was like, absolutely not.
She kept saying, you need to clean your shoes.
So, like, I love these shoes.
Now they're just trashed.
Like they're not trashed.
They're just not white at all.
I've even tried washing them and it's just, that doesn't look good.
So I think in the future, if there is another white, anything that I truly do enjoy, I'm
just going to buy two of them.
Problem solved.
I'm a proponent of that method, honestly.
For any kind of shoe, if you like it.
I mean, as far as, like, it's not a shoe drop, you know, or they're 300.
You can afford it.
But, yeah, I'm totally a proponent of that.
I wish I would have done that.
I have some that sit right here.
I've been wanting to bleach since I got up here a couple months ago.
come to find out, they are some popular
shoes as far as they're not
making them anymore and people want them. So I'm
going to try and bleach them. But yeah, it's
sad how these got
as dirty as they are.
They're the Alpha Bounce Adidas.
They're sick.
Little blue on them. mostly white with some black
but yeah see we'll see if we can bring them back to life
