Thank you. See what? Thank you. Thank you. so all right welcome everybody i hope you're all doing well welcome back to cabbie plaza
we also space every week for the hbar community to connect to discuss some news to get a pulse
on the ecosystem and to spotlight other hbar builders and creators this is episode 111 a special number
um my ex is a little bit wacky today uh we finally got everyone up on stage almost everyone
so um let's do this i'm looking forward to all the conversations we'll be having today
Last week, we messed up a bit with the time zones.
It's tricky, especially when, you know,
our time zones switch to summer and wintertime on different moments.
Yeah, that was a bit confusing,
but we all made it today, which is great.
I'm also seeing that there's a community call as well
and the hedera ai roundtable too so we're um it's great to see so much happening around hedera
it's a little bit less great to see it all happen at the same time maybe we need a little
coordination on that but um anyhow it's amazing to see this room fill up with so many
familiar faces this quick we've been live for five minutes and already a bunch of people
in the audience and on stage and that being said let's get some more people in here even more
by liking the space reposting the space, and leaving a comment.
And I saw Dan mention it in the space.
If you don't, you risk being banned from Kaby Plaza forever.
So I don't know how we're going to facilitate that,
So make sure you like the space, repost it,
It doesn't matter what you have to say,
as long as it is mainly positive.
We like to keep things positive over here.
Kari Plaza is a happy place.
So welcome all the panelists.
I hope you're doing just as well as I am.
Well, let's kick it off with Ekwa because we missed you last week. It was mainly my fault because I didn't tell you that over here in the netherlands um we shift to summertime last week so um how are you man yo let's go bro yeah
the different time zones and uh it switched for like america and canada like i think three weeks
back and you shifted and for me the time zones don't shift at all so
yeah it's definitely hard to keep up bro but yeah it was such a surprise dude like the first time I
heard about the space was when you texted me like Echo where are you and I was like oh damn am I
supposed to be in the space right now like yeah that was hilarious always always fun that that's
happening uh but yeah you're right bro like we need more
coordination within the space within the builders um yeah definitely definitely uh not here to over
overrun any of each other's things um yeah i love to see that you know i love to see that
there's people coordinating and making it happen. Yeah, hopefully people reach out because Cabby Plaza has been here for like
more than two years now with like 111.
That's like going strong for more than two years now.
So yeah, dope, really dope.
I love how you censored the comments, Niu.
Like, okay, you can say anything down there.
But okay, just keep it positive, you know.
Now bring on the foot if it's constructive, though.
Yeah, let's make it happen.
Okay, I didn't mean keep it positive as in don't be honest.
Of course, if you have any any uh doubts or uncertainties
about anything that's going on in the ecosystem feel free to share
um i think i think we're all on the same page here anyway um but by the way you don't have time
zones where where are you i mean like we don't have daylight savings oh i thought it was a, all right, cool. Well, it makes it,
makes it easier for you. Um, well, not really since you were working with us,
but, um, exactly. Yeah. Well, it was news for me too. Like there's some states
in America that don't have daylight savings. Like, so my cohost on a regular
space, Samantha from Futurity Galaxies, um, she lives in Arizona and they don't
whilst the rest of the United States, or majority of the states in USA, they do have daylight savings.
Yeah, and by the way, Neil, I'm from India, bro, I'm living in India, so yeah, no daylight savings over here.
All right, well, I learned something new today. Let's kick it over to patrick how are you doing
doing great as well i can't beat that intro um so one of your longest intros as well uh
equa you're copying me now but it's you know equa is all love i i love the optimism from this guy
always no space is complete without him see a lot of familiar faces
in the in the space as well i see tate i see you um that reminds me i saw a post this afternoon and
i speak my mind everyone knows that but always with a smile don't forget we were the first with
the meantime guys go to the tate show the genfinity show this evening but don't forget that um the the mosquitoes i see skeeter in the
as a speaker as well so um yeah just don't forget that um anything else uh no i don't have some
sideways stuff today guys um i can come up and google a bit during the space if we miss some um
some food for talk but for now i'm I'm just going to leave it with this.
And yeah, no inspiration.
Patrick, not going sideways.
That's a bit weird to me.
Can you name one thing that's been on your mind that was a bit random this week?
Look, if I can really really go well
so i'm testing out something okay so okay i think it's willow i've been cutting willow
twigs from from a tree by the road somewhere here in it's on the countryside so there's trees growing
everywhere i just stick them in the ground and see if that's gonna form a hatch
because did you know that if you even uh even if it's a fish thick or thicker if you just cut a
willow you put it in the ground deep enough so you don't have to water it but if you don't do it deep
enough then water it a lot it will just grow roots like it's you don't even need to see them so you can make a hatch out of willows how
cool is that so if talking about anything well that's what was on my mind this this week because
my wife has been planting all these sticks in the ground and we'll see if it grows oh i love that
that was a perfect perfect topic to go sideways on i mean um i'm living in an apartment, but I'd love to have a house with a lot of space to grow some vegetables, etc.
At some day, maybe after bull market.
But make sure to make a picture of that hedge or, well, what is to be a hedge?
And I'm curious to see what it looks like now.
Just some things picking up from the ground.
Excuse me for five minutes.
So excuse me for five minutes.
You go do your rounds and I'll do that.
Yeah, let's see your head.
Or your sticks sticking up from the ground.
Yeah, I think we all want to see that.
Well, this is getting pretty wild. I'm
counting 11, 11 people on stage. So, uh, by the time we'll, uh, we're finished with, um, introducing
everyone, we'll probably be at the hour. So let's just not do that. And, um, I'm just gonna,
let's just get started because I think if we all if we all
introduce ourselves and ask uh ask everyone how they're doing then we won't have any time to dive
into some real topics so um yeah i'm seeing some some great speakers on stage let's kick it off with Brandon now. Brandon, first off, how are you doing?
It's been a wild, tumultuous week here in the Hedera ecosystem.
Of course, that extends to the rest of crypto and the rest of markets in general.
But it's been fun to watch, and at least we're on the way back up.
So, yeah, having fun with it. least we're on the way back up. So, yeah, having fun with it.
We're definitely, well, yeah, on the way back up.
There was a nice, strong bounce on HBAR since, well, a bounce over the tariff lows.
Picking up spot 16, I believe, on CoinMarketCap again from 18 to 16.
So, with that that recovery and that was
that was great to see um yeah let's hope that we'll continue to see this uh this strength on hbar
um and you know zoop and and the hbar foundations bit on tiktok is still
um somewhat on the timeline and i believe we'll be able to hear some more about that
in your weekly update, in your next weekly update.
Yeah, so I haven't been able to get the interview with Zupin.
Of course, they're pretty busy right now.
It seemed like we had a few times scheduled,
but that's on hold right now.
But we'll get them on here before too long.
I do have Origin coming on, and then there's a team that's doing green hydrogen now. But we'll get them on here before too long. I do have Origin coming on.
And then there's a team that's doing green hydrogen called Fraunhofer.
So it's a German company.
They're actually doing a few things with Hedera.
It's a pretty big enterprise.
So I have an interview with that.
And, of course, we have SharkBytes as well.
I'm going to be going over some of the AI stuff that came out this week.
We have, what was it, Vertessia has the integration with Hedera.
And then we had that maybe NVIDIA post.
I think it's a little bit shady.
I have originally got that post with some, what was it,
Andrew or Anthony Wong or something from NVIDIA.
It does look a little bit shady in some ways. I got it
from a reliable source and I posted it, but I think he probably looked at it the same way.
And since we do know that Hedera Tech is being embedded in NVIDIA chips via Equity Lab,
that's 100% fact. I don't think people thought about it too much,
but there is some shady stuff.
I've reached out to NVIDIA to see if it's real,
and I haven't heard back yet.
But either way, I am talking to Jonathan Dotam
from Equity Lab, so hopefully I'm going to be able
to get an interview with them before too long as well.
But yeah, all kinds of good stuff.
Can you elaborate a little bit on what you mean with shady stuff?
Can you elaborate a little bit on what you mean
There was really only one thing that I thought was...
When you search the guy's name...
Hold on, let me double check.
I have it on a slide here.
Maybe take a step back because I don't think everyone saw the video you were talking about.
So maybe elaborate a bit more.
Yeah, there was a guy, Anthony Wrong, who posted on LinkedIn.
And he said, NVIDIA just announced the integration of Hedera Hashgraph HBAR into its AI system,
a powerful combination that could reshape the future of decentralized AI and enterprise blockchain applications.
What's this mean? Hedera's fast, secure, energy-efficient public ledger now provides real-time verifiable data
integrity for AI workflows, which will be a game-changer for industries such as healthcare,
supply chain, finance, autonomous systems, and then he goes on to why it matters.
And again, I didn't think twice about this. His resume looked pretty accurate for somebody that would be there.
It looked kind of like somebody who's not super active on, um, on LinkedIn, but he had
been around since 2020 on LinkedIn.
Um, the one thing that I thought was odd was his title says Nvidia at regional vice president,
something, something, I don't have the full thing on here, but that seems a little bit strange. And his title says NVIDIA at regional vice president something something.
I don't have the full thing on here.
But that seems a little bit strange.
And then we couldn't find anything else on the Internet.
But, you know, his education looked about right.
So, again, I'm kind of on the fence.
But the thing is it doesn't really matter that much.
We know that NVIDIA Tech is using hedera tech um we just
don't have them talking too much about it yet so this was a change in that respect like there was
somebody actually talking about it um but i think when it really comes down to it doesn't matter that
much because we do know that it's being leveraged this just kind of kicked it up a level um but yeah
so that's where we stand.
Well, it makes sense to be a bit on the fence about this. But yeah,
it would be cool to maybe see NVIDIA
this year. I think that could be a great
The UVA, I don't know who we have
behind the account, but we'll kick it to you
unmuted and sometimes just a bit of background.
Also, I'm curious to see your interview with,
I forgot the company's name,
but the company that's working with Green Hydrogen.
I think it's cool to see, yeah, futuristic stuff happening on Hedera.
It's such a great combination, Hedera with AI.
I'm curious to hear more about what they're doing in the hydrogen sector.
Is there anything you're most excited about in the upcoming weekly update?
I'd say, well, I mean, we were all kind of getting down.
When I talked about I had to delay my weekly update last week,
I put it out in full on Monday because there was some information that came
out around Mingo that was a little bit early,
or they didn't get the press release fully approved. So thatingo that was a little bit early, or they didn't get the
press release fully approved. So that's been delayed a little bit. But if you take a look at
some of the stuff that's happening with them at Paris Blockchain, you might be able to get a
little bit of an idea. But again, that probably won't be out until next week. I'll probably post
that interview independently. But the thing that I'm most excited about is in that weekly update, I talked about how, yeah, crypto was leading the markets down.
But we saw a divergence last Friday.
And I said on Monday that I think that indicates that when β if the markets did turn around and start going north, that crypto would probably lead it out as well. And when we saw the things change around
Trump, the 90-day pause on a lot of the countries that he had imposed tariffs on, that's exactly
what we saw. Crypto has let it out, and HBAR has been one of the tokens that has performed the best
coming out of that. As you mentioned, I think we were down to 19 or 18 on the coin market cap list.
We've jumped up to 15. I'm looking at it market cap list. We've jumped up to 15.
I'm looking at it right now.
So we've jumped up to 15 right now.
So not only is crypto leading us out, but HBAR, which was underperforming and kind of leading the crypto market down, is leading us back out again.
And that's exactly what we want to see.
I'm also excited, and I'm talking a little bit about the macro here, but I'm excited that, you know, the fears around the tariffs were, is this a policy strategy coming out of the U.S. or the Trump administration?
Or is this a negotiating tactic?
And I think this pause has made it pretty clear that it is a negotiating tactic.
There is unbalanced tariffs. We won't get into all that stuff throughout the
world because the United States has been mainly the consumer of the world. And there's a lot of
benefits to that, but there's some drawbacks as well. So it's become clear that it's more
of a policy tool. That alleviates a lot of the fears around tariffs that we've been experiencing
the past several weeks, few months
even. So I'm excited about that. I'm also excited about a lot of the teams that are building in the
space that are showing how interactions with other teams can work and incentivizing people
to come into our space and engage with our entire ecosystem. Teams like Candy, obviously you guys know them really well.
We have Smack'Em that's doing that,
incentivizing teams that have tokens to apply those tokens
or allow them as an incentive to play the game
and interact more with our ecosystem.
We also have the Barking Game that's doing really well
and I think is a great application.
So I'm excited to see that. And then I also, as an update to something we've been talking about the past few weeks,
we're doing the sponsorship of the Karate Combat event. It's not going to be the next Karate
Combat event, there's going to be some exciting stuff around the Hedera ecosystem around sponsorships
there as well, but the following event we're going to be doing a sponsorship and I've got several different teams that are going to be interacting with that. But the following event, we're going to be doing a sponsorship,
and I've got several different teams that are going to be interacting with that. We have Zenni,
we have Drop, we have MyNFT Project, we have Bonzo that's looking at doing it. We have, of course, Kabila that's looking at sponsoring that. We're going to get professionally made
commercials that are going to run during the Karate Combat event. But one of the cool things
is the last team that I brought on board with this was Zenni
because I did an interview with them last week.
And they're talking about when we do that at Miami event, they're going to book off
what we're talking about.
But for up-only gamers blocking off rooms, you can get these rooms right there locally
at the event to participate in this first launch of their new stadium down
there and do a meetup between Up Only Gamers and H Barbarians out there. And it's just cool to see
how these things all can kind of work together, how we can have a travel site that's being built
on Hedera that can be leveraged and promote itself through Karate Combat but also since these are destination events you can
actually use the services going back and making it full circle with Zenni so I
love how this stuff is all kind of coming together and working together
definitely I couldn't agree more on that because I'm seeing you know talking
about Karate Combat we have the UVA on stage and I'm seeing, you know, talking about Friday combat, um, we have the UVA on
stage and I'm seeing World Calisthenics organization in the audience as well.
And I think this, this shows exactly what we need for Hedera to grow on the retail side,
successful use cases, you know, that, that draw retail attention.
Because as we know, we all know as Hedera fanboys, Hedera can do it all.
Um, but we can say that as much as we want.
That's not going to inspire anyone.
We can say, Hedera can do it all.
Nobody's going to be inspired by that.
We need specific examples of what can be done to activate others.
So it's great to see that Karate Combat is doing that and has been doing that because we've got, well, new sports leads discovering Hed something that many people would have expected a couple of years ago.
Specifically, if you look at all the things Hedera can do, nobody would have said,
OK, well, I think sports leagues will find their way to Hedera in a major way.
You know, it's something that's happening because there's a great example.
So that's good to see. I'm seeing Liam with his hand up go for it thanks New great to see everyone by the way hello won't take up any more time with that because we don't want to reach the
hour too soon but Brandon I just wanted to know have you made that announcement yet about Mingo's
kind of incredible new partnership?
I haven't been able to check out your show in the past couple of days since you said that you were going to release it.
Just let me know if you have.
I do know what it is, but it would be great to kind of announce it.
So essentially what happened was I recorded with Joe Arthur and couple weeks ago, actually.
And we were planning on it coming out last week.
And then on Thursday, he was 99.9% sure that it was going to come out on Friday.
And I double-checked with him.
He's like, yeah, you're good to go.
Go ahead and put that interview in your next weekly update.
And it turns out that press release didn't go out. It got stuck in legal and didn't go out. So that's why I pulled it. You know,
I certainly don't want to get anybody into any kind of trouble, but no issues apparently that
partnership is going through. Please don't bring up exactly what the name is quite yet.
I'm expecting that to go out next week.
But they're at Blockchain Paris.
They're at the Hedera booth right now.
And they're highlighting some of the stuff that's going to come out of this partnership.
And I applaud Mingo for putting it together. But it's something that can be leveraged by so many other teams in our space as well, including Twitchital, my company. So yeah, I'm really excited about it.
So hopefully that'll come out next week. I'm going to complain with Jason because I
had a meeting with him, I think three weeks or maybe a month ago, and he was already hinting
at this. I didn't him uh what the partnership was about
because i wanted to be polite but it's taking too long and now i'm finding out that liam knows
so i'm gonna dm him um i need to know now there's no more excuses and um and we need him on the on
the next cabi plaza as well to talk about this so um yeah but um what i didn't exactly catch is
is there a new date for the announcement
no I think they're planning on it next week
it seems like things have all kind of
come together so it seems
like next week I would be really
surprised if it doesn't come out but these are just
you know when you're dealing with really big entities, these are just the things that happen.
You know, you expect the press release to come out and it just gets delayed and gets delayed.
Now, there's been plenty of information out there that people might be able to figure it out.
But but, yeah, I certainly don't want to, you know, lead anybody on right now.
I don't want to put the information out.
It's not mine to put out.
Hopefully, again, it'll come out next week.
That's all we need to know for now.
I wanted to congratulate the Empire team.
We have Daniel and Liam on stage.
Congrats on the sellout this Sunday
wow it's been that long already
it was Sunday actually wow
it feels like forever ago actually
thank you Nia appreciate it
wow yeah no it feels like
forever ago it seems like
For me, it's already Thursday
Yeah, for those who don't know
And it sold out in, what was it?
36 seconds, aesthetic, honestly
Yeah, it's not a record, but I think
The record is kind of unbeatable because it's
the record on kabula uh is is basically an instant sellout and sometimes you have some delay so it
will probably officially be like two or three seconds but it's pretty much instant so um but
36 seconds is amazing uh it shows the strength and the eagerness of your community that you guys built in the last couple of months.
And we've got you guys on stage as well as the UBA.
So I wanted to dive into that as well.
First of all, who have we got behind the UBA account?
And for those who don't know, UBA stands for Underground Bowling Association.
Hello, my name is Gordon Pepper.
I'm the Entertainment Director of the UBA.
First of all, thank you very, very much for having me on.
I know that Cabilla was in Denver earlier on this year, and I happen to have been there as well.
So I got to meet a bunch of people over at Cabela
including Manu. Wonderful group of people. I am honored and humbled to be part of this.
So thank you. First of all thank you very much and again thanks to Impart for having me as well.
Yeah definitely you're always welcome here since you're building all Hedera now. So let's break it down a bit for those who don't know you.
I think there are three main topics we want to discuss now.
And the first one is, let's start there.
The UBA stands for the Underground Bullying Association.
We have over 11,000 members in our group.
We span over half of the United States.
We have many franchises, that's what they're called, or teams.
We have them anywhere from the northeast part of the United States.
We have teams in Maine, Rhode Island island long uh new york long island jersey
connecticut pennsylvania we have teams in the southeast uh that includes florida georgia north
carolina south carolina we have teams in texas we have a 14 team district over there we have teams
in california and And Las Vegas And we actually
Had a district up in Alaska
And we still have active teams that are up there as well
So we're all over the place
And the best teams make the playoffs
Go to an event called Battle Bowl
Which this year is in Delaware.
And we give out over half a million dollars
Well, my next question, I'll hold off for a minute
because Patrick is raising his hand.
And I don't know if Patrick has a question for you,
but he also posted a video of his new head.
So everyone check that out.
That's just a fulfilled promise.
No, I just wanted to say, guys, I love it.
I heard something about this because I saw Liam post something about this as well.
But I just wanted to say, post it on top well post some info on top of the space so that people when they listen back
they can they can read up more about it so i we need to mention that more use the spaces uh
how do you say that that little part where you post these things
ekpan knows that i think it's called theumbotrum and I still haven't figured out
Just do something on the Jumbotrum
about bowling, guys. I love it.
Explain more. Go ahead because I'm loving
what I'm hearing here. Congrats on
with this and getting this to Eder. I love it.
be talking about this for hours on end in terms of the UBA.
We are entering, this is our 16th season. We're going to be entering season 17.
We have a lot of fun surprises that we have in store.
So we actually, I actually got involved in the space at the beginning with UpGaming.
So we're going to be doing something with the UpGaming mobile. And then while I was chatting with David Aho, he led us over to Kabila,
which in turn led us over to Liam over at IMPART.
So the sport of bowling, it's funny because everybody considers it a
quote-unquote recreational sport.
One of the things that I was told earlier was, oh, it's great.
It's a whole family with the grandparents can go out, which is very true
It is a family recreational sport
But with the UBA, it's very much
Not what you consider bowling
Because bowling is just like, oh, we're going to go to the alley
And drink a couple beers and then we're done
Which is true at the UBA, but
We have a lot of really good bowlers.
And we have bowlers that compete at the professional level.
We have a number of perfect scores that happen all the time.
We have different districts.
We have different divisions.
We have the World Championship Series.
We have individual rankings.
There is so many things that we've done with the sport of bowling
and really made it a place where
and one of the nice things about this is first of all we target everybody and second of all from a
demographic standpoint uh we target all age ranges all demographics uh that come in the door
so we have and liam knows this we have a ton of videos on the bowlers, how well they have, how unorthodox we are,
And that's the other thing.
You don't have to know how to bowl in order to really get into this
and to really be entertained by the number of personalities
and characters that we have within the club.
So it's just, it's a lot of fun.
Okay, Liam, you wanted to jump in there absolutely i think what i really
want to add here is karate combat which i know brandon is a massive fan of and many are in the
ecosystem they've done something so incredible by creating up only gaming because they're allowing
brands like the uba to very easily establish their own leagues in the ecosystem now what i want to
talk about here is that uh when you think like martial arts, that's something that's very exciting and entertaining
to watch, but it's not something that the average person can very easily aspire to.
Like I can't aspire to be a pro martial artist unless I train my butt off, you know what I mean?
Like it's something that is really something that's watched in awe and wonder,
but that really can't be easily aspired to.
So what I love about bowling is it's like Gordon saying, it's very accessible.
And I think that this is the kind of sport that we can really use to inspire people in the Hedera ecosystem.
But also it's a very easy kind of in for people to join Hedera
because anyone can go to their local bowling alley and play.
And if there's a Web3 element that can be seamlessly tied into that,
then we're going to be onboarding a lot of people.
So our big goal with the UBA is, yes,
we're launching 10,000 trading card NFTs of 200 of their players on Kabila.
And we're going to do something really cool with like booster pack NFTs,
where we're creating some IP, where we're encrypting the minting pool.
So you actually can't see which cards encrypting the minting pool so you actually can't
see which cards are left in the minting pool so if you have if you have a booster pack you won't
know what is let like left to be minted in the minting pool so that booster pack can kind of
retain and hold value and excitement over time just like a real booster pack so we're doing the
nft thing that's 25th may on kabila we love kabila because it lets us do stuff like this but i think
you know our primary goal really is to expose the bowling world to hedera and i think that that's
something that uh you know when you think about these sports leagues it's just such an amazing
funnel into the ecosystem there are not many projects that launch that you can really funnel
people into like an ecosystem with but sport is something that has to do with community
and a lot of our marketing focus in this launch is actually going to be uh well i'll be recording a
lot of video content for gordon and also for the 11 000 bowlers and remember that all 11 000 of
those bowlers firstly you know we're only starting with 200 players so that's a very exclusive like
set of players out of the 11 000 players so. So when the other 10,000 players see these 200 players on the cards,
I know that there's already some FOMO in the league itself.
Everyone's going to want a piece of the pie.
Everyone's going to want to be on a card.
But what you've got to realize is all of these players we're talking about
And so it's like if they start posting about Hedera and Kabila
and Hashpack and trading cards, we're looking at onboarding potentially tens of thousands of people through this project.
And they're going to be coming in and using Kabila and they're going to be using the wallets. And we are going to have those cards playable
in the same app that you bet on the bowling league.
So you're actually gonna be able to play those cards.
You're gonna be able to trade those cards.
You're gonna be able to win tokens from your opponent
when you play those cards.
So we're looking at really fleshing out
what the hashgraph offers in terms of like,
how far can we push an NFT?
Like, what is the real like end point of the utility of it of an nft and it actually seems at this point like
it's kind of the sky's the limit so this is really exciting and i think more brands and we've already
been approached by an enormous um martial arts league in the east just because they saw the uba
and so um you know i think a lot of brands are
going to see what we do with the uba and they're going to want to do the same thing so i think it's
going to be a snowball effect and i couldn't be more excited and it's great to have you in the
ecosystem gordon and your whole team and league of players it couldn't be more exciting uh liam
thank you very much uh i'm going to add two things number one one, I've already had people. Once we did, we did a photo shoot over in Virginia to get a bunch of people from Virginia.
And we drew a small crowd over there.
And we had people that were friends once I explained what was going on in terms of the project.
And I had friends saying, well, we don't bowl, but we want to get the pictures because we want to play this game because it's awesome.
And we can use our friends to play and when people said oh wow i can use my own card i can play myself i'm
like yep they're like oh yeah sign me up so this is going to be great within the uba community but
it's also going to be great within uh web 3 and as liam has said you're really opening up a field
to americans that don't know much about web3 that don't know
anything about crypto all they know about crypto is well we can buy and sell coins this is much
more than that in nfts once i was introduced to this world i'm like oh this is pretty cool this
is amazing i don't understand why it didn't take off in the u.s so now we're taking this and adding
this to people in the United States
and just opening a whole new door for people like, oh, wow, we didn't realize that this is what
Web3 is. This is what NFTs are. We can actually do something besides trade crypto. And it is,
you have coins, you can do all sorts of things with it, which is great that we're adding that
in there. And then the second thing that I want to add is if you want to see the UBA in action,
on April 19th, we are going to be working with Upgaming Mobile and Karate Combat.
We're going to be doing a demo that weekend.
We're going to have two highlighted events,
one of which is going to be a North or New Jersey tour stop
between two of the top teams in that district.
Arsenal versus Dys dysfunctional bowlers.
And then right after that,
we are having as our main event for the Northeast heavyweight title,
which was vacated because that person won the world title
and you can't have more than one belt.
So the Northeast champion won the world title,
which means the Northeast title is vacant.
So the top two contenders,
Doug Haran and Darian LeMay,
will be competing for the belt.
You can watch it live off of YouTube,
and we will get the link.
We'll put that up at UpGaming Mobile
on April 19th at approximately 1.30,
approximately for the title match.
And then the team match will be before that
around 10 a.m. Eastern time
and 1.30 p.m. Eastern time for the world title match or the heavyweight title match.
Super, super cool. I'm seeing some hands being raised.
But first, I wanted to add that, yes, like Hedera is perfect for this stuff and even more so than most people realize.
Because it's not just about
speed and security and safety and greenness. If you want to do something like this and the same
goes for our WA's which are pretty hyped on other chains and I don't see enough people talk about
that on Hedera yet in my opinion because it's for most of the stuff that you're describing
gamification etc you need to deploy smart contracts on other chains
the power of the hedera token service and the integrated utilities that
come with it are are insanely easy to use like it's not just about nfc and
token creation but also regulating access like there's even on chain kyc compliance like if you
want to you can manage uh your entities your token if you if you need to do that because of
legal issues or whatever and you want only only people to hold your NFTs,
if they did a KYC and you approve that,
Like we have the tools for that on the Kabbalah platform.
It's a native service of Hedera.
So you don't need to deploy any smart contract.
You can generate account lists
based on on-chain data. You can even freeze or unfreeze account activity for specific accounts
for your token or wipe tokens from those accounts. You can do so much stuff with just the Hedera
token service really easily, which you you you probably
would have to deploy some smart contracts or hire developer other chains so yeah there's a ton of
opportunity over here so it's great to see people actually finding their way to Hedera and I want
to kick it over to Jeremy thanks Neal I appreciate it so I to ask um as far as working with up only and like
the karate combat model like are you what are you doing um are you doing things kind of in their
same model obviously each sport is different um and how are you is it going to be more customized? Like how will the fans be able to interact with you specifically with bowling?
Because obviously that's completely different than karate combat.
And then I also wanted to ask, you talked about being able to watch an event live.
Will there be like regularly scheduled programming kind of thing that we're able to follow on X or will it be through the app?
Hey, Jeremy, that is a great question.
I'm going to answer it a couple of different ways.
I'll be very quick about it because I know that there's a lot of people that want to speak.
So something on UpGaming for us is absolutely perfect because I know for Karate Combat,
they have their events on a
monthly basis. For the UBA, we have events on a weekly basis. To answer your question, we actually
do live programming every single week. So for us to be able to plan a month in advance for our
events, we can literally post weekly events that people can bet on. So for us, UpGaming Mobile is
perfect based on what they want. The second that I saw it,
to be quite honest, I started drooling about it. And so working with Dave, we are going to take
everything that they have and really implement it to the best of what they have. And then come
September for the day one launch that we have with them as hopefully regular clientele with them,
we're going to be putting up events on a weekly basis.
So we're going to test that program as far as it can go.
I hope that answers your question.
I just want to add to that quickly.
So, yeah, so the import's kind of here to turn those ideas of the UBA into something tangible.
And I suppose to further, you know, add to what Gordon said, what we have planned is to use the traditional structure to allow people to watch the league and bet on the league on the game.
So that's number one, using the UBA native utility token, which will be called UBA.
And you'll bet this coin on games probably with a no loss like
zero loss structure on the app but within the same app we are also going to implement the trading
cards as like a game where you can do a 1v1 match against another card holder and your card will
have five traits and you'll play like a literal game of bowling against the other card holder. And you'll see that visually within the application.
And you can bet X amount of the UBA token on your match against the other person.
And other people can spectate your card match and also bet on the winner of the card game as well.
So like we're going to try and actually take that a step further than just watching the actual league.
And there's some really exciting things we haven't saw there the the traits that we have on the cards are so cool like we really like have
invented a pretty unique game for them so yeah to answer your question you're going to be able to
like do the karate combat thing but also like you know play your trading cards trade your trading
cards bet your cards win cards win tokens it's going to be a real fun time. And Jeremy, a quick add from me.
This year, right now, this season,
we have over 500 events that are set up on our schedule.
That number is only going to get higher next year.
There's certain things that I really can't talk about right now,
but there's going to be a lot.
So there's going to be plenty to bet on and to do things.
And I wish that I could talk more about certain things
that we have planned for next season.
In the words of Liam, it will be crazy.
Brendan, I saw your hand go up and down as well.
Did you want to jump in still?
Yeah, I was just curious around this.
There was a mention of an event happening later here in April where we're going to be able to participate.
Is that going to be through the Karate Combat app, similar to what we saw with Top Flight Football?
So the rewards are going to be paid in karate for that one?
I mean, I really enjoyed the thing with Top Flight.
It was the first time that I really paid attention to soccer, football, and that league over there.
So it certainly makes people more engaged, and I'm sure it'll be the exact same thing for your event.
So I'm also curious about your token distribution.
distribution. How are you planning on getting tokens out into the ecosystem so people can play?
How are you planning on getting tokens out into the ecosystem so people can play?
And is there going to be a karate token weighted airdrop to get a lot of those up-only gamers
that are already in that ecosystem into your ecosystem?
I'm assuming you're talking about the 19th? Or are you talking about what we're doing with import?
Not the 19th. So that one, it's going to be done with or incentivized
using karate so i'm i'm wondering about you know your actual application and it looks like liam had
his uh hand up there yeah yeah i'm going to defer that to liam cool thanks brandon that's a great
question so uh the tokenomics as it stands uh this is subject to change but as it stands we've
allocated a total supply of a billion
uba tokens for the future token launch hopefully uh in q4 2025 or before that 50 million of those
so 500 million excuse me of those so 50 of the total supply will be allocated to the league and
will distribute those similarly to what karate combat does. There's going to be a private sale before that of 30% of the token supply,
20% of which will be paired with another 20% of the token in a liquidity pool.
So we have some liquidity.
And the other 10% of that 30% will then be used for team allocation and to fund development.
We're then setting aside 10% of the total supply to reward the first 10 000 app users so the first
10 000 app users will receive 10 000 uba tokens each and then we also are going to airdrop 10
of the total supply to the nft card holders upon token launch as well so that's how we've thought
about it so far what's quite cool i think is that uh people are going to be uh you know
betting on card games and uh and spectating and betting on those card games as well and we want
to have a circular economy where the bets that happen between players who play their cards and
between spectators of the cards go back into the uh the kind of allocation the treasury allocation
for people who bet on the leagues that we can have longevity there and always have a portion of tokens that we can reward people who watch and
bet on the league itself. I hope that makes sense. Yeah, absolutely. It's pretty clear. So again,
you covered a lot there. So there's no incentives for karate token holders at this point, or at
least not planned. Not planned. planned however obviously we're using the
up in the gaming system and we want to kind of you know collaborate with karate combat in any
way that we can um i have to schedule another call with um only laughing with dave uh to discuss
things soon i've reached out to him to discuss that exact collaboration so we'll keep you posted
on what that is but insofar as I suppose for now,
there is nothing confirmed or set in stone where that's regarded.
Hey, you guys are just getting off the ground here. I love that you're building on Hedera and using up a layer too. Good luck.
Loving the space so far, guys. Very informative. Thanks, Gordon, as well, for hopping on.
Thanks Gordon as well for hopping on. You're doing great so feel free and welcome to hop on anytime to discuss all the stuff around UBA but even if you don't have any updates, this is what I tell everyone who's here to talk about his own project.
Even if you don't have any updates, feel free to still hop on and just join the conversation around what others are doing,
because that's much appreciated as well.
No, I've actually been on here a couple of times, not under the UBA, and this space is
And it's amazing to see everybody talking about their own projects.
And again, from the UBA standpoint, one of the things that I do as an entertainment
director is also branding. So if you guys want to team up with the UBA in any sort of project,
as I said, we have over 400 events. There's no reason why we can't brand something.
Do some highlight, get that specific video on there and saying, hey, this event or this match
is sponsored by this, especially as we go more into this space. It would be great to be able to collaborate with a lot of different people.
So by all means, reach out to Liam, reach out to myself.
And I absolutely love the Kappa Plaza concept.
And yeah, it seems like the Web3 journey of the UBA is only just getting started.
So lots of possibilities.
And that's the way it should be.
If you have an existing community, lead them to Hedera.
And also make Hedera or HBARBARIAN enthusiastic about bowling.
And make the bowlers get to know Hedera.
And I'm looking forward to the launch.
So I want to kick it to Matrika Labs.
I think that for most of the people on stage, as well as in the audience,
you're a new logo on stage, a new face. So please, well, feel free to introduce yourself.
Can I ask who's behind the mic?
Yeah, sorry about that. Can you guys hear me okay?
Okay, awesome. I'm Zach Zell. I direct growth at Matrica Labs.
If you guys don't know about us, we're the number one community rewards and management
solution in Web3. We power all the top communities from Solana, Bitcoin Ordinals, Ethereum,
Polygon, Base, Monad, Testnet, ApeChain. And the big part of 2025 is expanding to more and more
chains. So essentially what we do is we provide a range of services
to communities anywhere from like holder verification,
which you could think of as holding an NFT on Hedera
and getting a role in a Discord, holding tokens
and getting access to a gated telegram,
any sort of features like that.
And the big thing that sets us apart from a lot
of the other providers is we're a rewards ecosystem.
So a big part of what we do is we bring communities together, especially across chains.
So because we're in so many prominent discords and working with all these top communities,
what we like to do is we like to allow access to certain whitelist experiences and airdrops to users across chains.
access to certain whitelist experiences and airdrops to users across chains.
Since we're powering close to 900,000 users and we have all the cross-chain wallets linked to your
profile, what we're essentially allowing communities to do is get access to unique and exciting things
that are happening on other chains for holding an asset. Actually, recently I had a very productive
call. I was looking at the Hedera ecosystem.
I think it's definitely growing
and it's something that I would like to support at Matrica.
And kind of like one of the value adds would be like,
if you hold an NFT on Hedera,
being able to access like an exciting whitelist reward
on Solana or an airdrop on Bitcoin ordinals
or an airdrop on Ethereum for holding your Hedera NFT.
And then also, you know, our funnel works in the reverse.
So if you guys are minting out your collections or you're dropping a token or you're building
something cool on Hedera and you want to bring users from Ethereum, Solana or ordinals in,
Artec allows that to happen.
And yeah, first off, just want to say thank you for having me up.
Great to connect with everybody.
If there's any questions you guys have about like features, I'm want to say thank you for having me up. Great to connect with everybody. If there's any questions you guys have about features, I'm happy to get into more specifics.
But that's kind of like a high-level overview of what we offer.
Before I start asking questions myself, I want to give the other panelists a chance to to ask you some questions is there
anyone who has a question uh here so far otherwise i'll continue all right yeah i guess i'll continue
and just before i do that make sure if you uh just tuned in if you haven't done it already make sure
to repo to space i like it because we've got some more ground to cover. We want to get as many Ace Barbarians as possible in here to share with us.
So, yeah, okay, thanks for introducing Matrika.
So when did you guys start out?
Yeah, so we're actually coming up on our four-year anniversary pretty soon.
We're about like three and a half years in.
We started on Solana primarily just doing holder verification, but as some of our partners started
to go across chains to Polygon Ethereum, we built out cross-chain support to bring, you know,
support to them. As we saw more and more ecosystems kind of emerging, we slowly started to
grow our tools across chains and you know we went from
solana three and a half years ago to now powering eight chains and you know i have a very aggressive
goal of doubling that by the end of the year cool all right and and since then um what have you seen
in in bringing cross-chain communities together like what are the the challenges and and have
you been able to tackle some of them?
And what are the successes you've seen?
I'm curious to hear a little bit more about that.
Yeah, so the big challenge with a tool like this is the wallet interoperability, right?
So we've seen a couple wallets this year like Phantom or Magic Eden,
Go Crosschain, but they haven't gone across
to every single chain so if you hold an asset like on cardano it's very hard for you to claim
a whitelist reward on bitcoin because the people running the infrastructure aren't actually you know
built to support both wallets right so you have a case where there's a Bitcoin wallet for your
ordinals or an Ethereum wallet for your Ethereum NFTs, and the asset you're holding is on a
completely different chain. So there's no middleman to kind of verify like, hey, this person holds
X amount of Hedera, they're qualified for this airdrop on another chain. So that's been the
major pain point for kind of bringing
these communities together is just like there's no one that can verify hey this user is qualified
for the reward and this is their reward address the current systems in place were mainly kind of
just like having users sign their uh you know sign a message to connect their wallet to all these
different platforms which isn't really a
good safety practice in Web3. What we do at Matrika is because to get access to these
discords and these rewards, you have to connect the wallet to our profile.
So we end up building this cross-chain identity for a user, and we allow them to take this identity
and claim rewards regardless of what chain it's on. So as we expand to more chains, we open up users on each chain to start qualifying for rewards on other ones.
And we're kind of, you know, moving us toward this less fragmented Web3, whereas currently like it used to be like ETH versus Sol or Bitcoin versus ETH.
Right. Whereas now with Matrica, we're able to kind of make it like regardless of what chain you
hold an asset on, you could still qualify for the cool stuff happening on another chain.
Like nobody knows what's going to be the top blockchain at the end.
A lot of exciting stuff is happening on all these different chains.
You know, there's so many popular ones and there's so much happening across all these
There has to be kind of someone that ties everyone together and allows like these rewards to be spread.
And, you know, the value add for the teams using us is you get a way wider distribution rather than just like, hey, I'm going to whitelist the pudgy penguins because they're the most expensive NFT project.
Right. Using something like Match Pro allows you to pick a wider range of communities to kind of reward.
It allows you to pick a wider range of communities to kind of reward and it allows you to pick not just users on ETH
but users on AVAX or Ordinals or Sol or Hedera and
Ultimately we think that will build stronger communities rather than just these like cult-like fragmented like ETH maxi kind of vibes that we've seen in the past
Amazing so I actually think I can give you some off-rider because we do actually
know what's going to be the number one blockchain, but no, I'm just kidding there. No, but it sounds
like it's perfect for people starting out as well. Like if you're starting to explore
Web3 and you're not quite sure what chain to use and you're you want to do your own research
but not just research like you want to experience other chains as well well it's it's sounds like
Matrika is the place to be you know to experience a couple different blockchains experience some
different communities as well because it I think the vibes within communities differ a lot um you know that there uh certain chains are
suited for different use cases but i also think that certain chains draw um well some
a different kind of audience than other chains do so um yeah very very cool to uh to hear this and
to uh to hear this and maybe i didn't listen well enough but um i i heard you talk mostly about
uh regulating access to uh discord channels telegram chats etc are you guys incentivizing
engagement with projects as well uh i mean so what we do is we mainly try to be the gatekeepers for like who's
allowed access and whatever engagement happens further is usually up to the communities themselves.
One thing we do have is like on your Matrika profile, like we give you guys a feed which
aggregates all the discord announcements of the communities you hold nfts in so that's like one way we kind
of like help with engagement and like audiences and stuff like that
yeah oh cool i was just um responding to eqba as well eqba has had to leave um we're at the top of
the hour but we'll carry on a bit longer yeah uh thanks i'm seeing maui uh
upstairs you did you wanna jump in here and ask a question what's up new what's up earth links
yeah yeah what's up matrica i actually uh used it before so and i'm hearing this you're gonna
integrate hedera nfts am i correct uh yeah so we're we have a really aggressive cross-chain schedule this year.
The first three years of us building was essentially getting the infrastructure in place to actually go and be a useful tool across chains, right?
So we had to kind of win over a lot of the top communities on some of the chains like Ethereum, Bitcoin Ordinals that came out, Solana.
on some of the chains like Ethereum, Bitcoin Ordinals that came out, Solana.
And then now that we have all these power users using our product,
it makes a lot more sense for us to go out to other chains and start giving more experiences out.
And we see this goal of kind of just powering most of the top chains in Web3.
And by doing that, if you're starting out and you just came into the NFT
ecosystem or you're looking to drop a coin, something like that, we're essentially giving
you the power to build a diverse community that, you know, has users from all different chains.
Just because, you know, as you just mentioned, you know, Seoul is kind of like a gambling chain.
Like a lot of the users are degenerate. ETH has a whole different vibe. Bitcoin has a whole different vibe. You know, Hedera has like a whole, you know, you're more of like a gambling chain like a lot of the users are degenerate uh eth has a whole different vibe bitcoin has a whole different vibe you know hedera has like a whole you know you're more of like an
enterprise chain right so so being able to target like users within each of these sections allows
you to build like a more diverse community and something that's like a little bit longer lasting
in my opinion and maybe we'll we'll weed out some of the people that are just coming into
your community to like get a quick flip or to claim an airdrop
One more question and then I'll let you continue.
I have a collection on Hedera
and then I have a collection, let's say
One of the chains that you
Could I set up one row for both collections on both chains yeah so you'd be able to essentially set up a role like
hey like i hope like this user holds one nft on hedera and my other nft on eth right or you could
set it up as an or logic right right? Like they either hold the NFT on
ETH or the NFT on Hedera. So we, so like that, and that's kind of like what I mentioned earlier
about like the first three years of us building was really about getting the logic and the
infrastructure correctly, because there are other, you know, holder verification providers,
but they just don't have as complex or customizable role logic. So we, we allow the and, um, or operators, which is, which is, you know,
very important as you go across chains, especially as you, you know,
run into so many communities that have a collection on multiple different chains.
Oh man, I love it. Thank you, bro. And, uh, thank you for, uh thank you for uh considering hedera on there i know your
buy is very popular on other chains i dabble a lot on other chains and nfts and i always use
the matrical bot to to verify and i just wanted to ask that i'm excited um thank you and i hope
you do integrate hedera nfts yeah thank you very much i appreciate uh you know you using the product
our team works super hard to make this stuff happen.
Our devs are basically seven days a week.
We maintain a small, tight-knit team.
So thank you for utilizing our bot,
and thank you for the support.
Seems like you've got your first user, first builder on Hedera already.
So I know you've been in talks with Jack already, so you probably know.
But if there's anything we can do to help with integrating Hedera wallet connectivity, just let us know and we'll definitely get it to work.
Yeah, so other builds as well.
Great that Maui hopped up, but take notes
because if Matrika integrates Hedera,
I think this could be very cool.
And I'm actually thinking that we together could do,
with all of us, you know know could do a very cool uh campaign if uh if we would get
closer to a matrica uh hedera integration i actually had on uh have an idea for that so maybe
maybe um i'll reach out to you guys in the end and we can talk a little bit more because i've got some
i've had some stuff about a cool retail campaign in mind already.
So, yeah, maybe it's a cool idea to include Matrika in that.
Yeah, and then just one other thing, because I think earlier, you know, one of the speakers was talking about, like, events.
That's one thing we also offer at Matrika.
So, like, you could actually assign and set up events for your community for either, like digital event or an in-person event and you can actually token gate each ticket.
So like let's just say there's, you know, 20 top NFT communities on Hedera, for instance.
You could actually assign like, you know, an allocation of 10 tickets per community and then holders of these communities can come and claim a ticket.
And that way you can kind of curate like who's
coming from which community to your event. You could also you
know set it up to just hold like the Hedera token. You could
also set it up like to just for anybody to join. It doesn't have
to be token gated. We just give you that option. So anyone that's
hosting like in person events at conferences like our systems,
you know, battle tested, lots of functionality there.
You could do like VIP tickets, you could do a base tier ticket,
email customization, anything like that.
So if you guys are doing a lot of IRL stuff
and in-person workshops, hackathons, et cetera,
our ticketing system works perfect for that.
OK, well, we actually got
doing event ticketing on it there as well.
So we definitely have to get you
sometime as well to explore some synergies.
So yeah, that could be great.
So yeah, thanks for sharing
some information about matrica
and um yeah let feel free to to jump on um more like in uh we host these pages every week on
thursdays at the same time i think you're aware jack probably told you but uh yeah feel free
to hop on here anytime to connect with the community.
Usually we have a lot of builders or NFT creators in the audience and on stage as well.
It's a great place to be.
Thanks for being here and feel free to be here anytime.
I appreciate the opportunity to speak and connect with with everyone on stage thank you cool all right so we basically are almost through my list of topics but we do
have some other people up on stage i want to uh toss the mic to as well let's see let's try to keep it as fair as possible i think uh joe from smackum you uh
hopped on stage first so how are you today man i'm good i'm just listening to all this really
cool information new projects new businesses it's all fun and um to self-promote, like me personally, Joe, I've started doing a 5K every week for Kabila Plaza.
So as long as the weather is good, well, even if it's cold or hot, that's fine.
As long as it's not raining or storming.
As soon as the intro music goes off, I start on my 5K.
I start on my 5K, so I'm proud of that, and it's got me into making it a daily habit
because God knows I need to lose about four 16-pound bowling balls.
So shout out to the bowling league that's even more motivation
because when you're carrying around that much extra weight from what you're used to, it's rough.
But yeah, so for SmackDown, quick update. Yesterday,
we launched our second board, first board being the bedroom board for anybody that's played it.
Go to our bio and join our telegram. The Smack Mosquito game has pinned to the top in general yesterday we started kind of a new
challenge and locked a new unlocked a new board um in partnership with the dino project and if you
can get to level 35 on our original game it'll unlock the dino board there's a cameo in there by Grealth and playing is earning and it can allow
you to do staking as well. So go check it out. It's fun. It's hilarious. I don't know where the
team comes up with these in-game activities, but I try to not ask until I can see the end result
so that I'm as excited and laughing as loud
as anybody else playing the game.
So appreciate you having me up.
And yeah, it was just another great Plaza week
You're always welcome up here.
And super cool to hear, man,
that during the Cuyahue Plaza, you'll be running. So now we know that we can actually, you know that and it's super cool to hear man that during the Cowie Plaza you'll be running so
now we know that we can actually cheer you know be our cheerleaders during the space so every
we'll gotta we've got to make sure that every five or ten minutes yeah we motivate you like
come on Joe let's go let's go are you there yet because we we know that you're running. And if you're not, we, well, we'll see what happens then.
But very cool to hear that.
If you're talking about 5K, as an American, are you talking about five kilometers or miles?
No, kilometers. So the one thing we measure properly other than the marathon is that our road races are typically 5K, 10K.
So we actually do that right. front steps to the neighborhood across the street there's a loop that comes
back into my neighborhood that's exactly the equivalent distance to a 5k.
Nice cool I saw Daniel's hand go up Liam's as well but we haven't heard from
Daniel yet so did you want to jump in there?
Yeah, I know you didn't have an answer for Joe, so I was just going to say,
if we see him not running, ban.
You muted yourself again. Then what?
I said, if you see him not running, then ban.
So that's all I wanted to say.
So last week I wanted to jump in
and he called on me and I was
completely out of breath. I'm like, oh,
this is embarrassing. So I
I don't even have your number.
I said I was embarrassed last week in the space when I jumped in.
I was puffing and puffing, trying to hide my exhaustion.
It's actually because you've been smacking all those mosquitoes.
If we call on you during the space and we find out that you're not running,
you owe everybody in the space some smack-em.
But now every two minutes, and especially how Patrick is,
he's going to be like, oh, we haven't talked to Joe lately.
What's happening here, guys?
Oh, I was saying that the Chabiela Plaza space is motivation.
I do a 5K now every time the intro music goes off.
But now they said they're going to motivate me by checking in to make sure i'm
still moving uh during the space and if i'm not i have to give out smack them
yeah i i'm i'm lucky that i just jumped in to see because i i was doing some stuff before i'm
leaving on my desktop and i see all these smiley faces so i'm like oh i need to jump in what's happening here just in time go smack him joey but yeah if i get this right why not do a one-time giveaway
for smacking for everyone in the space but contact joey don't contact me it's too much work for me
and you need to make a screenshot prove joey that you were there and joey will smack you some smack
Joey that you were there and Joey will smack you
Nobody believes this Patrick
Cali Plaza I haven't seen you
and now the one time when it's about
I think he promised you this was a coincidence
because it's on my desktop and i wanted to finalize something shut down my computer and
saw all these smiling i even saw so skeeter smiling so i i was curious really really but
we can if you don't believe me i can make an incentive so at least repost one of the posts
smack them and then we'll smack you so let's make it a little bit
higher this takes a bit higher i think patrick doesn't want to use his allocation that's why he
jumped in so joe has to use his for sure okay now petrick you can you can go have dinner we uh we
decided how we're gonna punish joe if he if he's not running so you can go have dinner. We decided how we're going to punish Joe if he's not running,
so you can go back to dinner.
Thanks for coming back in.
Go play to the dino level, and when you see that level open up,
you'll see that we have a bunch of slots for new boards.
We actually have one that is almost finished
and another one in development,
and we plan on releasing a bunch of new boards
so that our game is always growing and evolving
as opposed to a lot of, and I'm not knocking any of them,
a lot of the Web3 simple games that you see on Telegram,
they have one or two boards and that's all they ever have.
And they get as much out of it as they can
and it kind of disappears and goes away. goal is to continue to grow it make the new levels fun
just like you play any game you download from the app store that's another update we are getting
closer by the day to being able to not just be on telegram but to have you be able to share a link
and friends go to the app stores and load Smack Mosquitoes.
It'll be accessible to a lot more people.
Thanks for sharing that as well.
And then we've got King Shibar as the last personal stage
who we didn't hear from yet. So King Shibar as the last personal sage who we didn't hear from yet. So, King Shibar,
how are you doing today? I am doing very good. Thank you so much, Neil, for having me. As you
know, I have been traveling the galaxies looking for planets, how to grow our kingdom. As you know,
the kingdom of Hedera is a kingdom unlike any other and we are growing leaps and bounds and I'm delighted to hear all the development each and every one of you has been doing just to make our kingdom great as it should be.
So yes, I'm delighted to be here and thank you so much for having me.
I just want to share some updates. As you know, we have created a children's book.
It was a chapter one, The Peculiar Peeps,
sometime last year, and it's been doing great. We have sold about 20% of the books, so about 200
copies. And people who are not familiar with Web3 and cryptocurrencies are actually learning
firsthand what this ecosystem is about. So this is, you know, tremendous, tremendous efforts
on every single one of our parts. And I believe it is our responsibility to spread the good word.
And as you know, I don't know if any of you have read the book, but chapter one focuses on
development, about education and actually bringing light and bringing hope into the lives of the children of our kingdom,
because they are our future leaders.
So actually, that's the peculiar peep calling me.
See you in a couple of minutes, King Shiba.
Real quick, I just want to jump in.
I have to run to a uh a couple calls for the day
but i just wanted to thank you guys for having me up i appreciate it i love listening to you guys
and hearing a little bit more about the ecosystem it definitely makes me more confident about uh
adopting adera so i just want to say thank you guys and hopefully next week if i have some time
i can hop up again that will be amazing yeah uh thanks for being here have a great rest of your
day and uh we'll see you soon man awesome thank you guys before you go dude before you go are you
still there yeah i'm here bro i'll give it seven weeks and your your secret life goal will be to
slowly and silently siphon everyone from every other ecosystem into Adara. Seven weeks, Mark.
I'll put it on my calendar.
Have a good one, everybody.
I want to listen to some Shibar audiobooks, by the way.
Sorry, I was in character with the King Shiba earlier.
But, you know, it's been a really good effort.
The books have been selling almost every single day.
And it's like in life, in-person interaction.
As some of you know, I'm actually in the technology industry.
So we are actually in repairing. So we repair cell phones, computers, you know, all electronic
devices. So we have customers that come in who have children and always, of course, you know,
I promote the book and people, it's like an impulse buy. They love like the art, the illustration.
It's so professionally done, at least for the first chapter. It was fabulous.
It's a very good story, very wholesome, traditional family values. It's such a good lesson of building a community, leveraging your gifts and talents that each and every one has been blessed
with and born with. To do something good to make a difference in this world, that's basically the
message behind the first chapter. So the first chapter is
the adventures of King Shibar, the peculiar peeps. So every single character in the book is actually
an NFT. And of course, as you know, King Shibar is a token, a meme token, right, built on Hedera.
So it's wonderful because this is like the first children's book with emphasis of Web3, just to kind of bring in the children into this ecosystem
and teach them a little bit about this future technology
that is going to be running their entire future world, right?
So this is what we're building now,
but who are going to be the consumers of what we're building now?
The kids who are right now 5 years old, 10 years old, 12 years old,
and this is basically we're building this for them.
So this was kind of the initiative also just to, you know,
basically spread good positive word, you know, and vibes,
and just, you know, give something something wholesome to everybody.
So very excited about that.
Also been working on the Chapter 2.
So the Adventures of King Chibar Chapter two is going to be titled The Chi Brothers. So that is actually an adventure,
like, you know, they'll keep you on your toes. So the story has been written already. So just
trying to figure out all the logistics for illustration. As you know, that we have an
in-house publishing. So we have cost control. So it's actually very reasonable to do. And we can
knock out books, but it has to be very precise. So we're going to control. So it's actually very reasonable to do. And we can knock out books.
But it has to be very precise.
So we're going to do it a little differently this time.
But really excited to share in the future, real near future, all the details with you guys.
So yeah, I know it's been quiet.
We haven't been as active.
But it doesn't mean we haven't been building and just working on spreading the knowledge and spreading to the normies what Hedera is about.
Because in the book, we actually have it very clearly.
So everybody's learning about Hedera, you know, one way or another.
Thank you so much for having us here.
Like, I love the positivity.
And I'm just wondering, how are you teaching or telling about Web3?
How are you approaching that?
Because your audience are kids.
So what does that look like?
So basically, obviously, what they see from the surface, they see a regular children's book, right?
They see a regular children's book, right? Like any other. But then, you know, as they delve into the story and then they love, they actually fall in love with King Shibar because a lot of the customers, they come back and they say, oh, my children and their cousins, they all the, you know, builders whose NFTs we're
using and so forth. So if people want to learn more about it, they can check out the websites.
We do have a HBAR Suites website there. You know, the Chi Brothers Tomachi Topachi are the founders
of King Chi Bar. And so we definitely highlight that and what they're building as far as the
smart note tech. And so, you know, even if I don't explain to them about what Web3 is,
they'll see it in the book once they see the About Us section
and Acknowledgement section.
But I do explain it to the customers.
I'm like, this is very fascinating because this is the first children's book
of its kind ever to be made with a Web3 focus
where every single character is an NFT and it's actually backed by a token.
And I know CZ, Binance, was talking about this last year.
He's like, you know what?
The Web3 ecosystem needs is actually in real life products like a children's book.
And during that time when he had made that post,
this was already being illustrated, the first chapter,
and already almost set for publication.
And so it was awesome that we were like the first movers in this sector, right?
I think I feel there's so much potential in this
because now you're leveraging this whole ecosystem,
this whole technology into a real life product,
you can really think outside the box with this,
but we, you know, it's been a great journey,
but I think we haven't fully topped the potential
that this can bring. So I believe we're going to be working with that on the second
chapter so and kind of bringing a little bit more awareness but yeah it's exciting exciting
it definitely is thanks for sharing um and if you have any any updates about the next chapter
feel free to come up anytime yeah actually i would like to uh
read to you like a little section from the from the story if you guys don't mind but uh yeah so
this is um this is just a little bit uh um okay so here we go for many years the chi brothers had
been working on a magical software,
a program that would bring joy and wonder to their world.
Finally, the day arrived to unveil their creation. They gathered around their glowing computer a complex system of lights and buttons
and pressed the purple start button.
Whoosh! The system hummed and suddenly the room shook.
Purple and green energy beams danced around them, and a shimmering portal opened in front of them. The Chi brothers gasped.
On the other side, they saw a world unlike any they had ever imagined. The trees were a rainbow
of colors, and the river's sparkled like a thousand diamonds so yeah that's just a
little bit from the uh from the book it's it's really interesting it's very exciting i must say
you know keeps me transitioning i was really transitioning it's uh it's so it's so effortless
for you that's uh that's insane very cool i appreciate it thank you so much for having us
uh up here and uh get to talk to everybody and hear from everybody.
It's been a while, but I'm glad everyone's doing good.
We're building every day.
Then actually, I overlooked the World Calisthenics Organization.
Brandon, I'll toss it to you.
um finishing question for brandon and i think then we'll wrap up but um it's great to have
you up here again um how are you doing man uh what's going on everybody uh doing good out here
it's beautiful sunny day in la no clouds in the sky sun's out loving life uh being here on the on the space with you guys
it's always a pleasure um man she bar the transfer from being a normal dude to that voice bro you
took me back to like the 80s when i was like watching old school tv when i was a kid that
that voice is awesome and i'm definitely gonna buy the book just because the voice does your voice come with it you can you've got like a voice recorded one version of
that where you actually narrate shibar did he bail anyways come back and let me know i want to connect
that sounds really cool um guys just to let you in on something, if you haven't noticed,
our whitelist NFT drop for our governor's NFT.
If you want to get a whitelist, hit me up,
but you got to do five burpees and you got to prove it.
And we are launching our first mint
on the 21st of April for the governor's NFT.
So pay close attention to what's going on there. Go check out the white paper.
We're launching it on Kabila, minting here, Hedera, literally best network out there. And I
actually want to say something. I read something really interesting the other day
by someone in the Hedera community that kind of made me like, whoa, this is kind of interesting.
First line said, Hedera is not the blockchain it's a hash graph
but it's like the blockchain and that was very interesting because it's not the blockchain but
if you tell somebody it's a hash graph it's just about as confusing so what i've been finding there
the people have been like easily understanding outside of, you know, it's called, you know, the normies web three.
And I've been using that word a lot more, which kind of doesn't put people like deers in headlights when you say blockchain.
And so it's it's I'm stoked to be here, guys.
Our launch is coming. So pay attention. Let's go.
Yes, let's go indeed. I'll do my burpees later I had some muscle soreness from from the gym so I um didn't do them yet but oh one more
last thing smack them brother keep getting out there hitting those 5ks remember also calisthenics
bro you need nothing except your body, just like running.
There's something that I give you a little tip as you're running your 5k.
Let's go every kilometer, take a five, a three minute break and pump out like three or four
Doesn't have to be a normal pushup.
Could be a modified pushup.
Could be a pushup on a tabletop. Start adding in a little bit of that. So you start getting a little bit of muscle
exhaustion on the upper body. Bro, you'll notice some massive differences while you're running and
you're committed to that. Hands, I got to give you, you know, I've got something special reserved
for you. If you hit me up on DM, just because you motivated the hell out of me,
seeing somebody that goes out and actually pushes,
that's in this community,
that's putting in the effort,
DM me and I got something for you, brother.
And yeah, thanks for being up here again.
Yeah, looking forward to uh catching up
with you every week all right we got uh before i toss it to brandon and close it off we got
fight farms up here as well welcome hey what's up guys uh good to see everyone uh glad to be in on
another kabila space definitely enjoying uh kabila as an NFT platform since I'm kind of new
to Hedera. I just wanted to introduce myself to you guys. Thank you for all the support. Had a
great time in the community so far, and we are here to grow our brand, Fight Farm. We are a
collectible trading card game that has a strategy aspect to it, and we'll have a lot more information
coming on that. But if you're interested in NFTs that have actual utility that you can actually play a game and earn rewards on that's
gonna be us we've been running this game over in the cosmos ecosystem for quite
some time as a generic MMA UFC game but once we saw a karate combat growing that
really drew me over here so just want to introduce myself and say if anyone has
questions or comments feel free to hit me up.
And always open. My DMs are open.
If you don't have a blue checkmark, message me anyways.
I'll always check that and get back to you.
But yeah, hope you guys have a wonderful week.
And we're ready for that WCO NFT.
Got my burpees video ready for you.
Got my burpees video ready for you.
Man, another project that's drawn to it there by Karate Combat.
I don't know if you were around at the beginning of the space,
but we actually touched on the impact that a successful example has
on the retail ecosystem on the D their has graph in this instance,
I was just having this conversation yesterday with Kyle Postmaster and
Brendan from WCO and I've had this,
that was one of the most frustrating things is that other places in web three,
I don't think they realize the impact that not just karate combat or combat sports, but sports and entertainment in general.
If you want to get and retain users, no matter what the market cycles are, use that to onboard the normies.
I get that. And the way I look at it is like karate combat and the sports might get them here.
But I want to add to that experience with Fight Farm and NFT games that you can keep them here but i want to add to that experience with fight farm and nft games so that you can keep them here very cool so maybe you should hop on again next week or the week after that to um
have a little so we have a little bit more time to dive into fight farms and what have you uh
what you guys have been doing on cosmos because it's um we're nearing the end of cubby plaza now
so um it will be great to have a little bit more time to talk about your project another day.
Yeah, thanks for having me.
Then we'll close things off.
Yeah, feel free to hop in there.
Yo, real quick also, before you guys, before we end the space, just want to say tomorrow we are having, we are going to be doing a spaces with token hunters, 10 a.m. Pacific time.
If you guys want to hop on and listen into what we're going to be talking about, that would be super dope.
You got to come back next week.
Everybody needs to know more about what you're doing, brother.
Love your energy, as always always brandon thanks for that um all right we're gonna close things of uh brandon iceberg bull i hope you're still around
yeah okay great great again great again cool yeah great uh first of all man i'm looking forward to um another one of your updates
and um the cool thing is they're only gonna get better as the updates are gonna get better right
uh the more interesting news hits the network um it will all funnel into the uh into the weekly
updates so it's only gonna get more interesting and they are already very cool. So, well, a massive shout out to you for still doing that all these years.
I just wanted to quickly toss it back to something we touched on at the beginning of the space, the tariffs.
that it seems to be that they are mostly for negotiating more so than actual implementation
purposes. So if we look at the market and it's like there's no financial advisor and it's
absolutely, it's really hard to try to predict the direction of the charge. But it also seems to me, and I'm curious
to hear if you agree, that Trump might be trying to pressure the Federal Reserve to cut some rage
and maybe get into quantitative easing even to refinance some debt.
And that could potentially have a huge impact on the market as well.
What are your thoughts on that, if you have any?
I don't think the Fed is going to move based off of the whims of Trump.
I think they've made that pretty clear.
The only thing that he could do is at some point in the future after the term's up is replace the Fed with somebody that might be more agreeable to him,
but that's not going to happen anytime soon. So besides that, I would say that what we saw
yesterday was a trend reversal. So the markets had been moving down. There was no good reason for it
to reverse. The addition of the tariffs added a lot of uncertainty. And as I say a lot, that's
the one thing that the markets hate is any kind of uncertainty. I think that there was a lot of
that uncertainty that was alleviated yesterday. We didn't know why the tariffs were being put on.
Is this a policy thing? Is this a negotiation tactic? I think we learned that yesterday. I
think it's just a negotiation tactic, and it's going to be used strategically in some cases,
but it's not going to be over and all policy that Trump just believes in tariffs, period,
end of story. So I think we saw a pretty big trend reversal yesterday. Now, that's probably because the markets are going to be
doing better. I think that's probably going to make the chances of the Fed acting sooner less
likely. So I think that they're going to stay focused on inflation, especially if the data
points in that direction. But I think overall, the crypto space has a lot of tailwinds right now,
But I think overall, the crypto space has a lot of tailwinds right now, considering those uncertainties have been lifted.
Now the market can focus more on those tailwinds that are being put in place and have been put in place for the crypto space.
So I think we're going to be going to be in pretty good shape.
Now, going into the summer is generally doldrums.
So, you know, if there's going to be a move, it's going to have to be in the next few months.
And then we're just going to be waiting for the fall.
Now, I don't know what the overall cycle is going to look like, but by that point, we might be getting some easing from the Fed.
So we'll take a look at what's happening by then.
All right. Quickly, before I touch you, Joey, I'm not familiar with the word doldrums.
Just when there's less market activity.
So a lot of the people that normally would be trading the markets during the summer kind of go on vacation just like everybody else and there's not as much movement.
And there's kind of a downtrend generally in bull markets during the summer when it comes to crypto. So things just kind of take a break.
So, yeah, just one update.
While we were in this space, the House passed the U.S. budget bill.
Two Republicans voted against it.
So if you're on X, you can just type in budget bill and see what that's about.
So that's just one more thing.
All right. Interesting. I'll look that up over dinner because that's about. So that's just one more thing. All right, interesting.
I'll look that up over dinner because it's almost, well, not almost.
It is dinner time for me.
So yeah, I think we're at the end of this space.
Anyone else want to share anything?
Yeah, it's been another long space, and I love it. Thanks everyone for being here. And thanks for everyone on stage for sharing your thoughts and asking questions, sharing ideas. It's been another great space. I think if you're an age barbarian, this is the place to be and it is so because because of all of you
uh the information that's been shared in this space and the ideas that's been shared in this
space today i think is it's uh is valuable and definitely if you're interested in in hbar and in
uh the things that are happening in there and there are retail scene um it definitely makes
sense to tune in and um yeah i'm thankful for being the host
and um and for you guys to be up here every week so um thanks for being here enjoy the rest of your
day or the rest of your evening have a good friday tomorrow enjoy the weekend after that
and as you know as usual uh equa our dj is is gone again because he only can stay until the top of the hour, which we crossed by far.
So I'm just going to end it here.
Again, thanks for being here.
See you guys next week. Thank you.
