Casino for being the absolute goat of event coordination because that event was nothing but seamless the entire time just we're pulling up and walking in it was always a good vibe so
um shout out to d gods frank fucking and kevin and aaron it was a great event they're very
Hospitable artifact is super cool even though they made us wait in line
And i'm sure i'm forgetting something that was the worst lab just dope and bing bong of course gg snaps everyone did great it was it was an incredible week truly
Man and you had also amazing announcement uh so uh yeah how was it actually live announcing pudgy world you know what was the reaction there
uh, I saw some videos but how was the vibe there life
It was it was pretty crazy because it was so packed that like I feel like
Fucking like 60 of the people that were there weren't even inside for the announcement
And everyone was like, did we miss it? I was like, yeah, dude, you gotta go on twitter and retweet that shit right now, man
Um, so a lot of people missed it, you know, I think I think uh, I think if we had Jen facino
We would have probably snapped like rug radio did but regardless it was really it was an amazing event
Um, everyone i've asked I said don't be biased actually tell me everyone said it was really good
I think the biggest thing my bad might be really windy
Um, but I think the biggest thing people liked was the food peter is like a big foodie uh chef goer d on twitter
He's our uh chief creative officer. He's a big foodie. So we had like wagyu burgers and stuff and
Um, the food was great. It was so good
Um, but yeah
I definitely second that
Damn like having a the the great food on on events is the alpha
Uh, because djens and everyone you know, we love to eat great stuff like we ate a great stuff in hong kong
right chobis bro, they had um
Korean food they had um bulgogi bulgogi there
It was amazing
So I was I was excited because I lived in korea for a year
to see that they had a
actual korean chef and they were also making corn dogs these
Beautiful decorated corn dogs and I didn't take a picture of them. Uh

But the pudgy event was amazing man as soon as you walk in there's a long line at the bar
Uh, well the the highlight was

And lorenzo meeting and greeting everyone as they walked in
That was amazing
I think that was the highlight to have the founder and the president
CEO and the president greeting you as you walked in
That was amazing. Um, they were giving away merch and plushies
They had the claw machine. They had cameras walking around
um, they had these boots up where you can take multiple multiple photos
I mean, they had
The penguins dressed up. Um, i'm trying to remember their names
I can't remember their names
pingu and
Pudgy and peaches pudgy and peaches pudgy and peaches there we go
I'm saying pingu. Sorry. That's different
um, pudgy and peaches. Yeah, I mean and
Yeah, the food was good
And the vibe was there's a lot of people there
It was a huge um venue you people hung around at the front
But if you walked all the way to the back, there was a lot of room
So people were just crowded inside around the claw machine trying to win, um, these little
miniature pudgies
I got one actually
After like 20 tries

Uh, it's also awesome that pudgies like since I know, uh, you know, since luca, uh, look up bottom
I think it's up only, you know, so
For the holders and everyone involved, it has to be such an incredible ride, you know with all the announcement announcements

Um, I was telling someone the other day
That's the first time in web three for the past like three years
I actually truly feel fulfillment and passion from something
Um, everyone on the street team truly are really great people

Lorenzo were sitting outside for like an hour and a half
Greeting every every single person that came into that event like met luca and lorenzo
And I think that goes a long way. I know this there's a lot of ego in this space and in this world and
It's refreshing to work with people who drop the bullshit and just
Are good people um, but not only that but have good intentions
Um, I don't know man. I made a I've been looking back. I i'm always on go mode, so I don't really get to sit and like
Think about everything that's happened, but
Um, I was looking back at comic-con and dude
We're asleep. I was sleeping on the floor and we were getting up super early to
Get there and day one we sold out and just like straight up startup vibes
And just to see even from then to now like in walmart and and everything going on
It's just like
It's really incredible and I can't even take credit for any of that. It's it's truly
luca and and peter and lorenzo and vedant and the whole core team they've they've really just
Blown my mind because I think over the past a few years. I don't know how long everyone's been here
But we've seen so many people drop the ball and and some incredible projects just sadly fail
Um due to just lack of I don't know lack of a lot of different things
So it's um, it's refreshing to see people push the space forward
It's incredible to be a part of it for sure
I agree and it's also hope for other projects and other holders, right?
Like I have some stuff that I would really love to you know that some some, you know
Entrepreneur buys that projects and push it uh to the new heights. That would be amazing because the the art is amazing or
uh, you know, so
I think it showed that it's possible

They were individually going up to each person in the queue saying hello

Chating to them. It was it was really impressive to see and then once I got inside
Everyone was there like illa was there repping the ball date team supporting
um, stevie williams was there
Uh, like scott fu was there like everyone all the different people from different projects different communities
All there supporting um, the pudgy team
Which was great to see because on the timeline there's a lot of us versus them and all of that
You know sort of bullshit that you see people trying to pin the different projects against each other
But at the actual event everyone was there the artifact crew were there
So, um, yeah, it was really nice it was as a final night everyone coming together and uh, and supporting
Pudgy after after the good run they've had
Um, so that was really cool and the merch was sick as well. They had really good merch
Uh at the pudgy event as well, which I think is coming out soon
So the merch is uh unreleased so uh, there's gonna be for sale
Yeah, I think adam can probably talk more on it, but there was stuff that was exclusive there
Uh, and then some of it I believe is going going online

How would you compare art basel to these events that you experienced before maybe you experienced the art basel last year?
Um, I don't know send it if if you if you still good, uh
I would love to hear your opinion man
Well, I didn't go to last year's one so it's hard for me to compare it's the first time
i've been
Um, but for me it was really good. It was better than I expected
And I think what people
Didn't realize is that the market would be in a good place
I think a lot of people slept on uh, this year's art basel both from the traditional art space
uh, and um
Also, obviously in the web free space
That was a good thing because it also removed
a load of fluff and a load of people there there for the wrong reasons
So it felt quite pure this year to me anyway and speaking to other people
like it felt like it was kind of back to the essence
Of uh, what it's about as well. So I I liked that aspect of it that
It kind of yeah people weren't expecting this to be a hype moment and then
Obviously, we got lucky with the market and everyone was in really good spirits
You could just tell everyone was in in good form. No one was moaning or complaining
About their bags being down. Um, there's no funny jokes about that people are just genuinely happy
Uh, and like you guys always advocate for it, you know, the the irl events
Um, uh, are really really not to be missed if you can go and obviously if you can afford to travel to another country, etc
You should definitely do it and it made it a lot easier as well because there's so many people there
Every day you don't have to worry about. Oh, what have I got to do?
Like where is everyone gonna be it felt quite easy as well just to kind of like go out and about
Um and see everyone which I really liked as well. It wasn't too difficult
Bearing in mind it was in you know all the way across the pond
Uh from me as well
And like if you asked me let's say three months ago
Uh, I would say that like in terms of nft projects the art bars is gonna be smaller this year
So, um, I was actually really like nicely surprised that
Many people said it was the best time they had so far that like everyone was like having a good time
There was this like a bull market vibe, but still I guess it wasn't like crazy, right?
It's like we just talking about money and flipping and stuff like it was still like creating building, right?
Yeah, everyone no one was talking about money
No one was like, you know, the euphoria wasn't like that
It was just more of a positive vibe
And everyone trying to connect as well because I think a lot of people have worked
Hard this year to stick through this bear market right and and and make sure that they they uh held on
Bags they had or however they they survived through the bear
so I think it was just like a a real kind of
Positive moment for the space to kind of come together and and kind of celebrate that celebrate making it through through this crazy up and down year
