First of all, my name is Milen Minev.
I am CEO and co-founder of Crank.
And we are a layer two project built on Cadenas, a layer one blockchain proof for blockchain.
And before we start to talk about the project, say some words about me.
I am from Bulgaria originally.
Right now I am living in Bulgaria.
And for the last almost three years, we are building Crank from Ground Zero.
Our founder, Peter Varga, is the one who started the Genius idea.
But right now we deliver it as a community-guided project and mostly open source to the community.
And my background is more in the crypto world and in the Deppin the last four or plus years.
Before even they call it Deppin.
And the trends around the Deppin right now, it's really huge.
And as a Crank, as a project, I came from the community.
For the last couple of years, I helped with a lot to the Helium in Bulgaria and HiveMapper and GuildNet as well.
And we built Crank around the community and we bring the IoT LoRa field Deppin project in the way that no one else before us built it.
Crank, it's a project that uses and utilizes old LoRa gateways on the market because we're more like eco-friendly, a green one to repurpose and reuse your own hardware.
We're not selling specific hardware to participate in one project or in latest up-to-date trends to mine one token or to gain one token from your hardware.
We're using all hardware on the market because we're building our own operating system and we provide our own operating system and solution for everyone to use and participate in our project.
But later on, we'll share more with a few words.
Crank, it's an IoT LoRa project that provides everything on-chain.
The entire communication and everything is happening on-chain thanks to the Cadena because it's scalable, infinitely scalable blockchain that we can, at the moment, we've made more than 100,000 transactions for 24 hours.
Crank, it's very interesting, mate, I actually got some so-called mining machines, I got some Bobcats here, so I know what you're talking about, I know what you're trying to deliver.
And just for all our listeners, Milenius is coming with his name, with his face, and it's very important when you try to build something to show your face, to show your commitment.

So for me, tell me more about your project, tell me more about Crank, how you change the narrative in the so-called Internet of the Things.
What is the difference in your project?
Well, to be honest, you are one of the very few projects like that because I see a huge potential, huge potential in those kinds of Internet of the Things.
Because in a few years, maybe every one of us will know how to use their crypto for that kind of things.
Just using their phone, just using their watch, using their GPS and earning some rewards from those kinds of sharing their Internet.
But tell me more about your difference with your competition.

And first of all, you mentioned that I stayed with my name and my face, like Peter and most of our team members, because Crank, it's an officially listed company in USA, Crank Incorporated, and we're a legitimate business.
And the crypto part, it's one part of our business plan, but we're building a real decentralized physical network project that need to reach customers, endpoint users.
And we don't use our faces as a trust issue, we follow the standard procedure to build a business and the names and the faces must be known.
And we're not focused only on the crypto part of the business plan, but how we bring Crank to the world and how we utilize the IoT side.
First of all, the IoT is a web tool and the blockchain, it's a web 3 and Crank tried to be a one-stop shop, a hybrid version between web 2 and web 3, because the web 2 is centralized.
The lower connectivity, the lower connectivity, the lower connectivity, the IoT sensors, all this kind of communication, it must be centralized because using the servers to communicate between the sensors on the mobile app, on the web admins.
And the decentralized side is the pure decentralization from the cadena, and we utilize cadena in 100%.
And the difference between Crank and all others on the market as IoT, because Internet of Things, the LoRa connectivity, it's not from yesterday or for the last five years.
The LoRa connectivity is here tens of years ago, and we're not the first one to build something like this, but we're the first one to build a public accessible LoRa network that is an open source and community guided is the main goal.
Because if you use another LoRa network or private network, you need to use their network for the connectivity, and after that, use the third-party software or provider for UI and UX to visualize your data.
In Crank, we try to do everything in one click as a solution.
You just go to, let's say, in our user dashboard and onboard your sensor, and immediately you can have all the information from your sensor thanks to our coverage.
And you don't need to go to the third-party to pay any subscriptions or anything else.
Right now on the alpha phase for the sensors onboarding, it's free for all, and everyone can onboard their sensors and use it immediately and not need to go anywhere else.
Just in one place, you have everything, the LoRa connectivity, the data, the visualization, and soon will be available in our mobile app as well.
And our main idea and understanding is to make it as much as possible easier for the users.
Just they don't need to understand what it's a blockchain, what it's a crypto or what it's a IoT or LoRa.
They just need to have a sensor that just works until they go to the shop to buy it with one click with Crank mobile app to install it and immediately to utilize the sensor.
The GPS tracker or the door sensor or the water leak sensors.
Most of the projects these days, they call them DEPINs because of the hype around the DEPIN.
But in Crank, we don't use the Web3 part only to make payments or rewards for the gateways that provide the coverage.
We have our own model called Proof of Trust and the gateways that provide coverage for the LoRa connectivity, the participative in Proof of Network participation nodes.
And these nodes and consensus nodes as well, they beaconing and witnessing, the entire process is happening on-chain.
In Crank, everything, 100%, almost 100% is on-chain.
Like, as I said, the consensus nodes, the beacon and witnessing process for the LoRa gateways, the affiliate system, it's on-chain.
And our Crank card is the first debit crypto card that solves the problems for subscription models.
And we have built our DEX as well, peer-to-peer DEX on-chain.
And thanks to Cadena, we can do it.
All these hundreds of thousands of transactions per 24 hours, thanks to the lower gas fees.
And it's fast for us, and the infinity scalability, because Cadena, at the moment, run on 20 chains.
It's a little bit different blockchain.
And these are our solutions to put everything on-chain, not just your rewards, but the entire project to be automated, thanks to the smart contract.

How the dream become true with Cadena?
Well, first of all, let's go back to the date when I met Peter.
Because my screening time is really high, approximately 10-12 hours in the past per day.
Now it's 16 hours minimum per day is my screening time.
One, at the middle of the night, I found a crank as a discord and I didn't know what is crank.
And I immediately jumped and bought two gateways.

He started crank in the first days to build on Ethereum.
And immediately he realized that Ethereum is not possible to be a blockchain that can switch for the needs of crank.
Because crank was built and right now it's continued to be in the same mindset and understanding for the project to keep everything on chain.
And think about that to make hundreds of thousands of transactions per day on Ethereum.
Only the gas fees will kill the project for a couple of days.
In Cadena, everything is decentralized.
Nothing like in other blockchains that we know.

And we're doing 99% of all transactions on Cadena right now.
And this, thanks to the lower gas fees and the community pay the gas fees and it's a 0.0005 Cadena per transaction.
And it's up to 30 seconds, the transaction is done.
And this is very suitable for Crank because of the scalability, the infinity scalability is very, very important for Crank.
We are with 6,500 gateways right now.
But think about that when we go to 100,000 plus gateways on chain.
I mean, I don't see any other blockchain that if it's, I mean for layer one blockchain, not for layer two virtual or layer three solution.
I mean for proof of work layer one blockchain is not so easy to find another one for Crank.
And yes, I was in the situation when Peter was already built Crank on Cadena.
But once I start to read and understand what Cadena tried to do and what they tried to solve, everything is perfectly fine for me.
And yeah, for the new users, new commerce to Cadena, not everyone is happy to understand that you need to work on 20 chains.
Let's say if you use Binance or any other techs, you send your Cadena on chain to Crank operate on chain zero on chain 19 right now.
So you need to cross chain the transactions.
But once you explain to them and you provide the necessary information, like we provide the Crank wiki guides, visualizations, videos, tutorials, and all YouTubers and what they've done it.
People start to understand that it's worked perfectly fine.
Just it's an infinity scalability and people need to understand this is the future solution.
And I can say only good words about Cadena because we didn't have any issues for the last, as I said, almost three years.

Tell me more about it.
This is something very unique for Crank.
As you know, for a year like this one or any other, for 30 minutes or one hour, it's not so easy to pitch deck or to share the entire project and the idea behind the project.
Because I'm into the Crank from day one almost, and we realized from the start of the project that we need to follow the community.
We need to understand the community and the project must be given to the community.
And this is our main goal.
In 2025, I believe that our governance will be ready and our voting system until we give the entire project to the community to take the decisions.
But we start to build everything thanks to the community, because the community is the only one who help us, who understand what we are trying to do.
And Crank is not a VC-funded project.
Crank is a grantee project of Cadena, but this is the only investment as a grantee that we have it.
We never search about VC funds.

And from day one, we provide our own image for this kind of LoRa gateways that in the past Helium sold their vendors.
Helium vendors sold it on the market almost one million gateways.
And as I mentioned, LoRa is here far away before that.
And I believe on the market, it's more than five, six million LoRa gateways.
And we reverse engineer almost 40 plus different manufactured gateways and provide operating system, Crank OS and Crank Image, that give you the opportunity to open the doors for your LoRa gateways.
Because all kinds of LoRa gateways, they are single board computers.
Most of them are Raspberry Pi, some of them are RockP, RockChip or custom single board computers.
But when you buy a hardware gateway, let's say from Panther or from Pisces or from Neighbor or from Bobcat, most of the time they're closed.

to get those interesting trends, with those trending trends, what is happening with Cadena, and put it on a big tab on our platform, on a single tab, where you could check all the interesting things happening.
We will clear up the idea because, as Milen said, for us, the most important thing is our community and the feedback from our community.
So we will try to analyze what kind of info they need.
But as you know mates, in the crypto, there is one single thing that is always trending.
The trades. All of us know that the trades will always happen.
And that is what we are trying to do in ShellGuard.
