Hello, good evening, everyone, and a warm welcome to in the studio episode number 49.
This is the first ever episode after the launch of Flix Token.
Congratulations to all the Flix crew members, Flix fam members, community members, and everyone
present here.
It was what a beautiful, I would not say, yeah, beautiful moment it was, but obviously the
whole week as a part of Flix crew for everyone out here, what a beautiful, what a wonderful
week it was, and what an amazing launch, very community-oriented, very community-driven launch,
which we have experienced yesterday.
Well, and so many things happened at, you know, at a time yesterday that, you know, we had
first, you know, just before the launch, we had the Kepler integration, and then Osmosis
integration, then the pool, and everything happened in a short span of time.
And thank you so much for the community and the community members for wonderful support
that you've been giving to Flix network.
And once again, welcome to our weekly episode, which we've been doing from, you know, from
almost a year now.
And a huge shout out to all the newcomers, to all the OGs, Flix fam.
We have Flix crew, Shev, in the house.

Shev, would you like to, you know, take over the stage and give a brief about how your experience
was?
It was a beautiful, beautiful day.

And congratulations to all of you as well.
I'm Shev, and I'm very happy to be here today because it is a beautiful day in the world
of OmniFlix.
So, in the last, I guess, 48 hours, we've gotten integrated into Kepler on mobile, which
is a beautiful, beautiful thing.
You know, evens the playing field.
It's always good.
We love equality here.
And then the token goes off, you know, seamlessly with that kind of being like a spark to it.
And I would imagine, you know, when Sonny put out his tweet and that probably a lot of
people know as well what was going on.
So, you know, it takes time to build a little bit of traction on something like that.
And you saw like in the second half of the event that we probably had twice as much as
we did in the first half in terms of subscriptions to the pool.
So that's always a plus, you know, and it's very exciting for the future because now we've
got a token in place that has apps to be supported by it or for it to support.
And that's always a key.
So, I don't know, Shaden, what do you think?
Is this the beginning of a new horizon for OmniFlix?
Yes, you know, I can say that we've always been a chain which believed in getting the
product in place first and everything else will follow.
So that's what I've been our primary goal.
And we have actually launched the apps much before our apps.
We had OmniFlix Studio in place.
We have OmniFlix Market in place.
We have OmniFlix TV in place and a lot of things which we are building.
We have to build ticketing platforms for the events right now.
Nebula Summit and there's another event.
Let me just tell you.
There are two events which are actually Nebula Summit and Awesomebossom.
I'm sorry. Nebula Summit and Awesomebossom.
Both events are using our tools to mint tickets for their events.
Actually, you know, buy tickets for their events with crypto and fiat.
Right now, Awesomebossom and Nebula Summit are both events.
So we have done a lot of, you know, tools building in the past and that's what have been the primary goal of the company that, you know, let's build the product first, everything else will follow.
And the result of, you know, let's build the product ideology led to StreamSwap as well, which is tooling for, you know, coming up chains out there.
People who want to launch their tokens, launch in a completely decentralized way.
So yesterday, you must have seen that, you know, the community must have seen that almost 600k was raised in an entire, you know, by the community itself in Osmo to buy the pool of Flix, which was for 1 million.
And it was wonderful.
In the world, we had a bootstrap phase where people could put in their Osmo and withdraw their Osmo for like 36 hours.
Then 1 hour was the streaming phase where still people could put in Osmo, but couldn't withdraw their converted Osmo to Flix.
But after the 1 hour...
Just a quick story to give people an idea of how committed we are to decentralization and to being, you know, a project that gives everybody the same opportunity to get involved with the community at a token launch.
You know, we had myself and one of our esteemed colleagues had a call with an investor a couple of weeks ago.
And at the end of it, rather than asking for an investor donation or a VC donation to the project, he said, well, you know, the investor said, well, how do you, you know, how do you, you know, how can we participate or how can we be a part of this?
And his response was, well, I would like you to invest in, or not invest, I would like you to, you know, participate in StreamSwap.
Because that, you know, the purpose behind that is to give the community the same opportunity as investors and VCs to get involved with the community.
Because that's the most powerful way to show that, you know, that we are truly giving everybody the same opportunity to get involved with the community.
You know, if we have VCs that are participating in this, that's, it makes it even more powerful.
So, and when you saw like streams of, you know, large sums in there, you can hopefully assume that that was people like that.
Exactly. Rightly said, you know, Ken, that was the whole intention of it.
And yes, you know, what I was trying to convey that StreamSwap is another, you know, product, which is again, Omniflix has, you know, contributed as a DAO member kind of a thing.
And the future tokens, which are going to use StreamSwap for their bootstrapping of, you know, the token launch, whatever the revenue is out of it will also go to the community.
To the community pool of Omniflix, which is another utility for Flix.
So, apart from that, what we are trying to build is, we are, we call ourselves Interchain Media DAO.
We are trying to build tools for creators and communities, sovereign communities out there to equip themselves into the world of Web3, to mint, manage and monetize and also distribute the content which they provide day to, which they create day to day.
And make sure that they are the right owners of it and they get all the benefits of, you know, monetization or distribution, all those benefits reach to the creator directly.

And, yeah, I'm tired and was almost sleeping for the whole day, I suppose, today.
But I had to be here for the space.
And, well, you know, I actually thought I would be getting a lot of NFTs as soon as I will get my Flix.
But by the time the Flix token launched, I was so tired that I still haven't yet done anything with my Flix.
I probably would be buying some NFTs, shaking those, some of those, getting into the LP pool, and trying to make sure that I enjoy my Flix token, what I've got.

Let's jump directly into the creators who have minted their collections and are here in the space.
And the collection which launched yesterday, first collection, which was actually minted, there was a lot of discussion went on behind launching this collection.
Mr. Flicks will tell you the story.
We initially thought of making it a blind mint.
Then we thought of, no, let's make it a mint and list model so that it's there out there and people see what they're buying.
And a lot of Mr. Flicks was actually ready with the collection from like a month back.

Yeah, yeah, we had a lot of different things going on.
I mean, we were prepared for all angles, you know, so, you know, it ended up working out both ways either way.
Uh, yeah, we had it prepared, uh, pretty well in advance, but it's, uh, it went off without a hitch though.
So it's good to go.
It's up there now, uh, just airdrop, you know, to previous holders of any of our other collections.
If you've previous collected any of those, uh, we dropped, I think it was about 15% of the supply.
So, you know, I can actually feel the tiredness in, uh, IBC Mafia's voice as well.
He was also awake with us like last night and, uh, uh, he was part of our, uh, creator showcase.

What is the future plan and your previous collections as well?
Yes.
How can we forget about your previous collections?
Yeah.
Uh, we just launched those and we have, uh, 350 still listed there at, um, or roundabouts.
I'm pretty sure.
Um, they're listed at 30 Flix, uh, piece.
Uh, that was kind of the price point we had in mind.
We were aiming for a certain target.
It actually got pretty close, but, um, yeah.

And we're going to be definitely adding some, uh, you know, I mean, just like any of our
previous collections, any holders of these are going to be included in anything we do
going forward in the future.
Um, and the way we've kind of done it is we started out with, you know, pretty rare collections
and it just, you know, 420 Flix Lodge and it, uh, we upscaled the collection size a little
bit.
Uh, just perfect size.
You know, our other collection, like our first one was like a hundred and then 200 and then
400.
So it just, uh, we kind of are doubling the community each time.
And eventually, you know, we'll, uh, well, I mean, you know, Omni Flix out here is adding
a lot of different tooling and, you know, they already have some.
So we're going to probably, um, we're going to have different things to do with these NFTs
as well as, uh, launching a collection here coming before long.
It's, uh, it's going to be fun for everybody.
And for our newcomers out here, would you like to speak a little about your previous
collections, please?
Yeah.
So, uh, we, we have Pharaohs of Atlantis and we also have, uh, Rise of the Aztecs.
These are both, uh, storyline NFTs.
We've kind of been, uh, airdropping the chapters as they go along.
Uh, we still plan on adding some to these because, uh, it's a lot of fun to be able to
experiment with the artwork and things like that with these collections.
So, yeah, we're, uh, we, the first one with Pharaohs of Atlantis, we launched, uh, July
of last year.
And since then it's had, uh, a pretty nice, uh, volume in Juneau, which is great to see
because, you know, they were sold at a low price point.
And then, uh, most have been airdropped to, uh, current holders.
So it's great to see, um, you know, people get to take interest in those collections and
we're going to continue, uh, building onto those.
I like the idea of being able to, to, you know, outline a story with the, especially with

I mean, my case was mostly for ethics at the beginning, but then I discovered us all
sort of health benefits and, you know, you feel lighter.
And I think that kind of helps me also with my, my crazy lifestyle that I am able to do
many things.

Uh, after tardigrades, tardigrades have been a great, uh, collection with respect to building
its own community, with respect to building, uh, you know, utility for the NFT.
We have seen that you kind of utility you did, uh, in the Cosmoverse where you helped
all the community members who were coming to Medjain, uh, pick and drop for them.
Those who hope those, all of those who were holding tardigrades and a lot of other things
as well.
So, uh, you know, the, one of the collection, which we have seen real physical world utility,
uh, is launching another collection.
Now these are the babies.
Would you like to tell us more about it?

Going back to what you say.
Yeah.
The tardigrades collection is, uh, like our first experience on NFT.
So we wanted to give it like a, you know, a real use case on real life.
So we wanted to, um, link an event, which was Cosmoverse to the fact of having an NFT
to have like a real life experience that you can benefit from having it.
So, uh, for those who, who don't know, we, uh, gave a welcome kit to everyone who had
a tardigrades, the sync card to make easy the entering into the, you know, another country.
Cause I, I, I've been traveling quite a while and I know how, uh, convenient it could be to
have like a phone line already with the internet and all that stuff.
Uh, and also, um, you know, like, um, as you guys saw the, the, the recommendation letter
of what to do, what not to do while in Columbia.
And because for people who hasn't been in this part of the world before, a lot of things are kind of surprising.
And for those who were from, with us since the beginning, we wanted to give a special, uh, treat.
So everyone who had a drop pass, which is like the first iteration of tardigrades, how we handle the, the randomization
of the drop.
So whoever had a drop pass most likely was one of the first people to mint an NFT from tardigrades
from tardigrades and from Omniflix.
So we went and pick up everyone who had a drop pass.
We went and pick them up at the airport.
So that's our way to experiment with the NFT, but also, uh, have a real life, uh, utility.
So going to transitioning to baby, baby tardigrades, uh, it's like, you know, the next generation.
The tardigrades was like a cute, uh, avatar collection.
We wanted to make it even cuter by giving them, you know, some baby traits and funny combination
of like a cute sweetness of a baby with the craziness madness of, uh, you know, something
kind of menacing.
So, because people like, Oh, all the tardigrades are cute, are nice, but we want, you know,
some other expressions.
So we added more variety of expressions in their faces.
You will see, we have cute, nice baby tardigrades.
We have evil, uh, uh, tardigrades also who have like, uh, you know, you, you'll see when,
when, when we started mint, we, we put, we, we've been posting some, uh, previews, some, uh,
was nitpicks on our discord.
So, yeah, that's pretty much it.
Uh, so, uh, basic difference between, um, original tardigree collection versus baby tardigree
is that the original collection was very complex to make.
Uh, that one had a lot of poses.
It was quite a challenge because it's a 3d software.
We have to put like different lighting setting for different poses, have to put different cameras.
Oh my God.
That was a lot of work.
So in this one, we try to make it more like a traditional type of NFT, which is just trade changes.
Uh, trade changes, but we focus on the different face expressions this time, uh, which, uh,
this also allowed us to make it more, uh, numerous collection.
The original tardigree collection was 1,111.
This time we made 4,200, you know, making reference of the 420 of the Flix launch,
as this was going to be our first, uh, collection to be listed on Flix.
Uh, so we, we play around with the numbers.
We like the, uh, what is that, um, um, royalties.
We put, uh, 4.2, the collection 4,200, as I say.
So, uh, yeah, those are some details about this collection.
That's nice.

Flixverse.
So if anyone in the, in the chat hasn't experienced the pre alpha Flixverse, make sure you get around

Which I think I can't wait to, to see what they build, um, more on that.
But basically what this, what this collection is supposed to do, it was supposed to be a
50%, um, collection that, uh, the 50% of the proceeds would go to tangled vault.
And then the other 50% was going to go to the, uh, community run DAO, which is, has nothing

So I think this is a really good opportunity to help, uh, the community empower itself to
really, uh, pick up the, the competitive space, the e-sports space and really make it their
own.
So that there's none of this, none of the proceeds come to me.
This is a hundred percent, um, proceeds going to the community down.

Now it is spread across cosmos, different, uh, uh, uh, people and, uh, you know, influences
of, uh, cosmos ecosystem are a part of your IBC game.
Uh, when is the next championship?
Touch a little about, uh, about the game.
Uh, how, what, what is the baseline of the game and when is the next, uh, uh, game championship
or the gaming session is going to happen?
Yeah.
So, you know, it wasn't that long ago.
Um, just last month, we wrapped up a really, a major for the IBC game, uh, with Liam and
the general, uh, played in that.
So that was, it was, it was really well received.
Uh, we had, we have Chris fight farm bets in, in the chat.
He, he, he drummed up a red verse blue, uh, bet, uh, collection that ran in parallel with
the competition.
So I think at a base level, we showed that the game itself can attract high level competitive
strategic play.
It really allows people to have that e-sports experience.
But at the same time, you had Chris collaborating with, um, the Flix fanatics and Chev and, you
know, the DJ in them got the wages happening.
And, and there was just this excitement about it.
So I think at a base level, I think the game does a good job, but we have a lot more work
to do.
So I'm working with, uh, Omniflix, uh, the occupied games and the whole crew behind the
scenes to work on the app.
So that is getting closer and closer by the day.
Soon people won't be using, uh, the Google live sheets that I've prepared.
We're going to actually have a, uh, a UI that connects to your wallet and it'll be a lot
more seamless.
That's, that's on the horizon.
But, um, I think the main thing that's happening at the moment are two things.
The first is the stream swap entitlement.
So if you subscribed at least 10 Osmo to the stream swap, um, I will be dropping a special
edition deck, a 13 card deck, a fully regulation playable deck to every single person that has
met the minimum threshold.
So I'm still waiting on the addresses from the Omniflix team.
And when that comes through, there's going to be a free drop to whoever, however many addresses,
then hopefully we can, uh, really boost the, uh, gaming community, uh, tenfold and get more
people participating in it in line with hopefully the launch of the app in, in the next, you know,
I don't want to put any dates, but let's say the next quarter or so.
And then the other big thing, um, outside of the metaverse is obviously I was talking
about the Flixverse.
Make sure you look, look at that, check that out.
The other big thing that, um, is being announced by Wolfman knows as well is the O-Club, O-NFT
collaboration.
So in the background, um, you know, O-NFTs and Wolfman knows, if you know the Watchers collection,
the Fallen and all of the things that they're doing over there, primarily based on Stargaze,
but there's also a collection on Omniflix.
Um, there's just a multi-chain, uh, multi-community hub being established at the moment.
Uh, I'm fortunate to be one of them.
And, you know, there's going to be a whole bunch of, um, additional utility coming for
any of the Tangled NFT holders or any of the other partner projects.
There's going to be stake and earn.
You're going to be able to stake your NFTs and, and, um, you're going to be able to accrue
tokens and there's just, there's a lot of things happening, um, out of nowhere in the
last month, uh, a whole bunch of, I don't know where this energy came from.
I don't know if the bear market's coming back or everyone just wants to build, but so much
is going on and, um, you know, I wanted to take advantage of it.
I didn't want to kind of slip, you know, I haven't had much sleep, but you know, these

So the stories within really is to kind of extract the stories within the rug art.
So that's where the name comes from.
Pega has a really, uh, rich history behind the, the pixel art, the, the rug art, the textile, um, you know, her background is actually rug making.
You know, that's, that's, that's what she does.
She, she's a highly skilled rug maker and she even exports her carpets all around the world.
And during COVID, I think a lot of that ceased.
So I think she picked up in, um, you know, a lot of art in the NFT space and our collaboration was more about trying to extract a bit more information and, um, the storylines from the rug art itself.
So if you look at the collection, the stories within, it isn't, um, just a panel.
There's a, there's a panel artwork that's accompanied with a short film that is, has a, like a, a score and a narration to give you a little bit more in depth, like storyline behind everything.
