um actually that stuff that's on cards jay that is to keep hand oils from actually uh
ruining the paper so that coating that is on playing cards, that is actually specially formulated just to work with the human's oils so that the oils do not ruin the paper that the cards are made out of.

That's why those cards have like a wax feel to them.
