or you know like just making the right decisions but i want to say hello to lane before i ask this very important question
as we move up uh this therapy session this is the worst therapy session i've ever been to

i'm i'm deeply sad about the state of my bags i can commiserate with you it's fine i've been in
it we i've actually heard they've changed the name of the pre-ruins meta to the pre-rect meta
so it's actually the pre-rect season rather than the pre-ruins season so that's just kind of how
it how it how it really was and how it's kind of played out so i'm in the same position as you
don't worry i am so glad that i have someone who who is actually telling me that my feelings are
valid because yeah the the last two speakers have just like made me feel that i need to achieve
happiness as a state of mind and then have like a wife to hold me accountable and not
over leverage. So it's important to have someone who can relate to my pains. But if we take back
the hands of the clock, you know, let's say we really have an opportunity to do what experts
had tweeted, like, what would you undo? So you go back to to march 2024 you've had all these airdrops
you had the runestone arsic you had the decentralized what was their what was that
that they airdropped again i can't promethians yeah promethians yeah you had promethians
you had tons of the other ones.
So you go back to March 2024.
What would you undo?
I just sell everything.
I literally will sell everything and sit on my Bitcoin,
maybe pick up a few more OMBs.
But like, honestly, knowing everything I know now,
I will even sit on my box,
like literally sit on my backs
until Black Eyes mint
until Taproot Wizard mint
and then just buy everything
on the dip, honestly
I do
share the same sentiments with you
I don't think I would have sold everything
I might have left a few but
you see all the airdrops wait, I would have sold everything. I might have left a few, but you see, all the airdrops,
wait, I would have sold everything and just held, like, the art.
So, like, for the artists that collected their art,
I would still hold on to them.
But for the rest of the things, I would have sold them
and I would have never listened to anyone.
That's another decision.
I would have, you know, believed in myself more
than I believed in others who were bullposting.
I think that that would have made me make a better decision.
And another thing to hold myself accountable is I would have been able to tame my greed.
So for the sake of this therapy session, I remember holding puppets at the top.
I remember I had a target and he hit the target. And I'd never seen
that kind of Bitcoin before in my life, you know, and I just kept looking at it and it was making
me happy. You know, like you just open your wallet and you smile. So greed is what makes you think that it's going to get higher than this.
So if I were to go back, I would tame my greed.

Yeah, so I just wanted to point out that I'm not so old as fuck, you know.
So I'm into crypto since 2013.
I am into crypto since 2013.
So you can't believe how often I did change my strategy and did it wrong.
So I got wrecked in 2013 losing all my 15 fucking bitcoins on MTGOX.
So this hurts just thinking about this huge amount of money that I would have now. But I can't roll back time.
And I can tell you that every time in every wave I said,
okay, now I will take profit or in the other hand,
I will hold on because in retrospective,
it was very stupid to sell my Bitcoins.
And then next time you say, okay, now I'm not selling all my tokens from the ICO phase.
And then it's a complete opposite.
It's also wrong.
So the only thing I learned all the time is that you can't do it 100% perfectly.
If most of the people would be able to do this, then we would be all richer.
And that's not possible because crypto is a zero sum game.
A lot of people are losing money and just very few people are having more money than before.
And then they are very, very rich, you know, because, yeah, market caps are evil.
You know, somebody is sitting on the last share.

you would be that ancient Bitcoin world
that everyone, you know,
will be waiting for to sweep our bags
because that's a lot of Bitcoin that you lost, you know.

But, you know, the only thing that I, in every cycle, I just try to not lose.

So the thing is, I just look at the cycle. So if I am in the end coming out with more crypto
determinated in fiat, then it was already a success.
And to give you some hope, Barbara,
at least the bulls, the cycle is not over yet.
So of course you will lose most of the money.
But let's say you still have your dog
token or maybe your runestone if at the end of the cycle you come out with more money than before
you are better than the majority of players here so um all this gaming oh i should have sold earlier
i should have sold later it's you are never selling at the right time. It's literally
impossible. So just buy stuff like Bitcoin DCA in and DCA out. So everybody understands that
they have to go in slowly, but usually people don't go out slowly and then you can't time it perfectly. And at least here for looking on your inscriptions,
I have a so big portfolio of NFTs and at least inscriptions are on chain so you can look
on the art also in 10 or 20 years. But if I will look on my NFTs on Ethereum, then I'm pretty much sure that all the images
will be gone in 10 years.
And this is even more not satisfying, you know, all the pictures will vanish and I bought
them for a lot of money.
In lieu of Barbara, it's going to be uh rather than just ordinals it's just lane
so uh here we all are guys thank you so much for being here um with with with with you know with
with lane and moonlineth and and you know we're talking about getting wrecked hard but um you
know it's it's what's good to know is that there are teams in the space that's still building
they're still going and they're still building, they're still going, and they're still bringing value. They're still building community. They're still pushing the Bitcoin space forwards.
And what can we say? Bitcoin Eternals, who are going to be on the show today, are a team just
that. They're bringing a huge amount of value for some serious OGs in the space. So as sad as it is
that we're all feeling a bit hard done by or feeling a little bit wrecked, there's always
hope on the horizon. There's always, there's always hope on the horizon.
There's always that light at the end of the tunnel. So, so we,
we want the vibes to stay immaculate. So let's, let's, let's, let's keep,

Like, it had nothing to do with crypto.

Like, it's how markets work since since the beginning
of markets like we have we have fucking uh up cycles and we have down cycles and there's nothing
anybody can do to change that you know like i uh i studied economics as an undergraduate and i
basically left that discipline altogether because like i realized it is really a fucking dismal
science like none of those mfers know what the fuck they're talking about.
The best they can do is try to put up a fancy model and throw around some theses.
But the idea that anyone really knows what's happening in the economy on a macro scale is a farce.
And so the best we can do is we can look, my favorite word, directionally.
Where do we think things are going?
And if I look direction directionally shit's going up
and to the right i don't really care what anybody says you know polymath um has been saying this
over the last several weeks but it's really true like when was a good time to sell bitcoin i mean
maybe at five thousand dollars maybe it was at ten thousand maybe it was at. Maybe it was at $10,000. Maybe it was at $20,000. Maybe it was at $60,000. Maybe it was
at $110,000. But if you keep thinking, you're right. And we still got a long ways to go.
So it's the same thing for assets underneath Bitcoin. Ordinals are in a very nascent stage.
And we've seen some massive upward traject you know upward uh trajectory at times like
all you know the first quarter of last year was insane um but just because that's not the the
moment right now does not mean that we should lose faith in this um in any fashion like we're at we're
on the cusp we're on the fucking uh cutting edge of this shit and well keep going because i can tell you the history of crypto it really does like reward
people who keep going um there's never like dude this shit changes so fast like everyone's feeling
down right now and and i feel it you know like i got the portfolio full of ordinals i got a portfolio
full of runes i got a portfolio bitcoin of of other stuff and
none of it is where i wanted it to be at this moment in time and i didn't expect it to be
at this time like i'm not tripping like i'm not um because i know like what we have in front of
us which is the still the greatest both financial um but also like personal opportunity any of us
could possibly ask for like when in moments like this
when everybody gets down there's a lot of people that do leave and you know no shade on them like
i understand it it is not easy to grind it out through these moments but those who do you develop
the grit you develop a network and really you develop a knowledge base that people who leave
come you know with the wind so they speak they don't get the a knowledge base that people who leave, come with the wind, so they speak.
They don't get the fucking knowledge base that you have for being here every motherfucking day.
And so I would say, if you're feeling down right now, I hear you.
I feel you.
But trust me, this is part and parcel of being someone who is investing.
And I don't mean like you're investing in meme coins.
I mean investing your time,
which is your most valuable resource.
If you're sitting here every day,
trying to learn,
trying to help others grow,
thinking about businesses that you could possibly start,
there's no better investment than you could make.
I sincerely mean that.
