um goal i had in the beginning you know right like make everyone their their money back so that way
everything going forward is just all profit and then you know we can go from there and everything
it's been really good uh we've had i think i've had 30 something one-on-ones with members since
the beginning we've been going over like the bit unix ui and everything and getting people signed
up on the platform trading and just answering any questions that people have. And, you know, there's, I mean, it's all, all walks of life that are in the community.

It's been a really great journey so far.

anything that is not accurate most people people made back their four Solana
investment the first day or the first 48 hours, and that speaks for itself. That's the coolest
thing about this. People are making real money. $2,000. One person posted four P&Ls, $2,000 made.
USD or USDT, however you want to put it. But I mean, you are going to learn a
skill. Do not fade this opportunity. The price will increase in time. We will onboard a lot of
people with this. And if you have no clue yet, I've been telling you for a week, BitUnix has to

Yes, because a lot of people, even me right in the beginning was just treating it as straight
gambling. Basically, you know, like, oh, OK, put 100 X in Bitcoin and hopefully this
hundred dollars goes into a thousand bucks, you000. And then if that happened, I had no game plan after that.
So what we're doing in Discord and trying to teach
is to have that game plan to be able to consistently make money in trades
and make those educated decisions that you need
to be able to feel confident in your trade
versus just randomly pushing a button and hoping for the best.
You know, I mean, that's when you do that, you have so many emotions that play into
in the fact that you'll guaranteed you'll sell that for a loss before the actual pump.
You know, it's never it's never a good feeling.

These meme coins, like I've never seen something get rubbed so quick before.

And that's what I think.
So like Yeezy, like I think that if you would have bought in and just held it and not sold whatever the top was 3 billion, you know, and just held it, I think they're still going to do there's going to be one or two more pumps or there's going to be people that are buying clothing that are's a cool play. I did not actually get in, but I mean, if we go back to what you had said before we talked about the motion, like that's what I've
been gambling. Like, so in between books is calls, you know, since January, like you'll have money
there and you know, like even you, so before you started your channel, you hooked me up with a
call and I made like $400. And then I gambled that shit away. Like I've lost thousands trying to trade on my own
and I come from the options market, you know?
I understand the Greeks.
I did all that stuff, but crypto is a totally different ballgame.
Yeah, I came from the options too.
And it's, I felt like that was such a rigged game.
You know, I'm like, these things expire.
You know, the stock market closes. this thing opens and it's down 30%.
It's like, you know, how do you, you know, I feel like that's a little bit.
That theta decay, you might spend more money trying to keep your position open than you make.

Yeah, you keep a position open for too long and like it pumps and you're only up like 5%.
Like what the
hell this isn't even fun that's what dude that's what we were doing back in let me see like 2009
right after the crash so i was trading options and we seen bitcoin at like a hundred dollars
and laughed about in the office and at the time i had 10 grand i could have bought bitcoin with
but we laughed about it, man.
I am so,
I wish I would have been outside the box and thought different at that
point,
you know?
Oh yeah.
I was there.
Like when Bitcoin was down to 15,000 talking to my coworkers,
like who would ever buy that?
You know,
I think it's going down.
Look at us.
Now Bitcoin is at 114,000.
And I faded it at $9 at $15,000.
It's like
I will never learn my lesson
with Bitcoin.
But we were all corporate.
That's what
your peers is where you would
take your advice like other people that had
money. We were investing in real estate
these different things and so we
just didn't believe that that could be. We didn't believe real estate, these different things. And so we just didn't believe
that that could be, you know, we didn't believe the government would allow it to be adopted,
especially, you know, with the president at the time or, you know, um, you know, Congress or
whatever, who was running everything. And that's what it's so cool to see, like right now, like,
I think that it is still the adoption period and soon we'll have what's
called the accumulation period so we may not be super early but we are early to some different
things right yeah we are yeah like my son doesn't even still know like what cryptocurrency is you
know he's 12 so it's it's, there's still a gap, I guess,
in the generations where they're not really aware
of what cryptocurrency is yet.
But I feel like, you know, give it five or 10 years,
like kids will, all ages will be involved in crypto.
Yeah, and you've seen Wyoming just released
the first like state stablecoin.
So I think the ease of use, when people start utilizing cryptocurrency and they have no clue that they're using it, that's the mass adoption that we'll have.

I mean,
yeah, you can zell your
kid money,
you know, but then
you're using traditional
banking where if you just had a phantom wallet,
you could literally just, oh, you want to go
to the movies?
You know, here's
some money and then transfer it to your crypto
card.
Yeah, that's perfect.
So you'll send it to him or her and they have a crypto card.
So I don't know which ones anybody uses, but let's just say Coinbase, right?
Your Coinbase card.
And so all you have to do is you go into your settings on Coinbase and you say, hey, I want to xrp or solana as what i'm using to purchase
with and so it is very simple it's cheaper if i wanted to send stone money in morocco it's way
easier man he'll have it in seconds you know yeah you don't gotta go to a money tree and send a
western union or anything like that it's just boom, done. And that's what I
love about what Circle had done. I tried to get them in a lot of, like I worked in Nashville at
the clubs. And so we'd have people from Canada coming all the time, having to swap their money
to US currency, or they couldn't use their bank card without a transfer fee right to change the money and so with circle they they
had set up where you could get cryptocurrency so people could pay on their card and then you pay a
small fee to circle for them to you know um swap it or you know to exchange for you and so like
there are things that are happening to help that and ease that. Yeah, and that's what's really cool is we're on, like, the forefront of the change of finance, basically.
You know, like, how you send money.
I mean, we're so early, it's not even funny.
Some people think we're late.

talking about crypto, that's for sure.
Convicted, I was curious
to know a little bit about your history,
how you ended up
to where you're at
and what your journey was like when you first
started doing futures trading for crypto yeah so you know i had a little history went to prison 2015 for selling
drugs um yeah i was you know i don't want to say i was good at it but i made a lot of money in it
um and then in prison i did the the whole college and got my degree.
I've always been into computers.
So when I got out, I went into college, got my cybersecurity degree,
and then started just studying markets, basically, and learned the finance systems.
I remember going through elementary school, and they would hand out a newspaper,
and it had a bunch of stocks on there that you could like sit there and pick through and i was like i found that so fascinating
that i wanted to be a part of finance basically so i see your hand do you have a question cory
no that was the question okay i thought your head was up um yeah then so early on like five years
ago i would just read on trading view, different indicators.
I'd watch YouTube videos, try different, you know, strategies and stuff.
I lost a bunch of money.
I would trade on different exchanges, you know, and just treat it as gambling, basically.
A couple of years ago, some personal stuff happened and I had to have my son full
time. So I had to take this cryptocurrency thing serious. So there was no more gambling.
I had to, you know, I knew I had to learn this skill to be able to provide for my kid
and that better life. So that's what, you know, I just really have taken that seriously.
And then ever since then, it's been, it's been a journey, like joining books as community
has really opened up the doors.
I like to teach people and have them learn what I've learned because I feel like this information is so heavily gatekept
online that you could spend you could spend six months reading and learning and you probably will
you probably still wouldn't fully grasp the concept of it um so that's just like what what
the whole discord premium group thing is about right is giving you guys the skills
that i've learned over the years to be successful and you know just hopefully bring you guys along
on the journey which is great um you know i had i had a career that i went to college for, studied really hard, and I left that for this.
This is basically my story.
It's been a struggle,
but we're still here.
People can go to prison,
get out, and be successful because I never let having a felony hold me back from getting a good job.
I, you know, I can get security clearance again.
It's just anyone that uses that as an excuse is definitely, it's an excuse, right? Like, you can go to prison, you can get out, and you can live a full life and everything.
It's, you know, it's been great.

So in terms of trading leverage and options trading, I know that in my experience, it's been an emotional roller coaster.
And I'm still working on becoming more disciplined and holding and all that kind of stuff.
I'm very, I would say, green in terms of the big overall picture of
trading and i guess uh the next question is is how long did it take for you to
uh because altis touched on that you quit your day job to come in here and do this full time.
And I think I remember you saying something like you were starting with like $500 P&Ls early on and then you crossed six figures like in August or something like that.
Can you describe what that journey was like for yourself?
Yeah, so we were starting.
So when I first joined Books as Community and everything and got back into leverage trading
because I had gotten wrecked in the stock market
and options, you know, like most people do.
I would trade just like 100 Solana because $1 moves in Solanas
is either $100 loss or profit, right?
So I had that, I would use that as a base.
And then I just built my bankroll up like Books talks about all the time, right?
Like you have to build the bankroll up to be able to make good money, basically.
Like you could start with little money, but you want to keep making 20% profits here and there to be able to get that bankroll up.
And then I would just, I went from 100 to, I think it was, I think I
jumped up to 500 Solana, traded that for a couple of months. Um, that had a lot of emotional toll
to it because I wasn't ready to weather the $500 swings in the dollars. So I went back down to a
hundred and then we just went to two 50 and then 500. Um, and then once i got that bankroll up right like the 500 solana play wasn't it wasn't
that bad for it to go down a dollar because it wasn't killing my bankroll and i can kind of like
weather those storms out and then make better decisions like where it's not just 500 i'm not like oh that's gonna i can't
pay my truck or my car if i if i do that you know is and then then it was just you know trading
i don't i made a 10 000 solana trade once and i think i think it was like 70 grand or something.
And then, you know, from there, it's just,
it was just, you know, 10,000 Solana basically is what I trade now.
It's been less since I've quit just because I have to be more precise
and we're not, we already built that bankroll up,
so I'm not trying to make home run swings anymore.
I'm just trying to, you know, $1,000 to $5,000 a day is,
that's primo.
That's perfect for me because I can, I won't have to work ever.
You know, it's, um, I've done the math, you know,
I can survive for the next 20 years off of X amount with my bills.
So it's at the worst case scenario, at the worst case scenario in 20 years,
I'll be going back to work. But, um, that's, you know, that's where we're at.
And it's just, you know, it's been an adventure.
I can tell you that.
Yeah, and just one thing I wanted to highlight for everybody.
There are crypto people on YouTube that have discords that are gated that say they have alpha charging $400 to get into those or even upwards $1,600, $5,400, right?
To get the tools that are free.
And so that's what I'm saying is this is not a new concept, convicted traders streets and books are doing it the correct
way they want everybody to win those other platforms all they're doing is they just want
you to create volume they get paid off of that and so they don't care if you lose or win they
really don't yeah yeah you're exactly right because they do get paid off the volume, and they just want you to go into the trade, basically.
They don't care which way it works or not.
I've seen these discords copy and paste from other people.
The big following people will just use copy and paste the material from little followers solid people like you know it took me
six months before i reached out to books and wanted to do this you know and he
helped me get it started and everything and he looks out for his community 100 books has our back
with leverage trading and if anything happens, he's available.
Just like the other day when BitUnex crashed,
I was able to get a hold of Books immediately,
and he jumped on it and got us all taken care of.
Like, other KOLs would have washed their hands of that
and been like, oh, well, it's the platform's fault.
You know? But Books was not
like that. He was
on their ass, basically.
You know?
Eating it for the community. So that's very good to see.
You don't get that with other discords.
You just don't.
You get those mass extraction
events you know
I don't see that with books
so that's good
everything he says is true
we're in it for the long haul
and I got a lot of respect for straight we're in it for the long haul.
And I got a lot of respect for Streets.
Streets is,

I even contacted Magic Eden because they kind of screwed me over a little bit too.

I know it sucks that there's no recourse for these things.
How do you get around these things? You know, what happens? I'm usually pretty safe. Like I got my, I got three seed phrases. One is like locked up. The other one's kind of for my NFTs. And then there's a third one to kind of mess around with. And the second one is the one that got drained. So that was weird.
it's kind of the thing of the space it just sucks but it it's almost like giving you a reminder like
you gotta be more careful and there's there's other things like um i forgot what it was but
there's there's something somebody sent me in there that it kind of disconnects everything even
like coins being affiliated with your wallet.
So I'm going to try that on my other ones.
Just be safe out there.
It kind of sucks.
We're getting into a spot where everything's pumping and the scammers are getting more desperate
and the technology is actually,
it's advancing even more.
So it might not be a link that you're pushing.
It might just be a profile picture that they've coded to, you know, run a Trojan that takes all your stuff.
So just be careful out there.
Yeah, we see this time and time again, too, is when we're at all-time highs or we're pumping up again, the scammers come out in force.
