but BTCS, a publicly traded company on NASDAQ, bought Penguins and announced it.
The only other company that's done that publicly is Bitwise.
They are known to have a NFT collection,
but I think they bought their Penguins very, very, very early.
But this one, it's kind of a big deal.
You know, you're starting to see these treasury companies
stack ETH and stack Bitcoin.
And BTCS is a ETH treasury entity.
So the fact that they are stacking penguins alongside their ETH says a lot to me.
So, yeah, pretty exciting day.
You know, what's funny is that actually is at the bottom of my list that Dan forgot to read off.
Because I'm totally going to hit that one because that's huge.

but it's this app called Lurky.
Dow Jones might have heard of it.
It was on Coffee with Captain the other day.
They have this cool thing where like you can just like tag
a bot called like reverb uh app i actually did it for this one and what you can actually do is
afterwards if you own like enough of this coin you can basically just go and ask it like unlimited
questions about this space i don't know exactly how that has the api with like twitter spaces and
stuff like that but it'll answer questions.
It does sentiment analysis for coins and stuff like that.
Monitors like KOLs, all kinds of cool shit.
So I've just been playing around with that for the past couple days.
I've actually heard about it.
I think one of our last spaces, it may have tagged me afterwards and said,
you've been lurked, and then it gave some notes and stuff so yeah it's interesting stuff so many useful
tools that are coming up love to hear it though yeah you'll probably see it again

It's just unbelievable to see all these numbers uh
it's just constantly growing uh Dan over to you yeah that's all I was gonna say is like we just
gotta recognize how massive a number that is and like I know there's some like futters out there
you know copers uh that would try and like you know take something away from that and say it
you know what does this do for holders or like some you know, take something away from that and say, you know, what does this do for holders or like some, you know, lame, lame talking point like that.
But again, with a number that big, the volume, the vastness, we've all seen it, probably experienced it, work chats, you know, places where you wouldn't expect these gifts, these pieces of content to be thriving like they are outside of crypto
and not just thriving to the tune of 200 billion.
So like, again, you just got to like really put it into perspective.
I know like big numbers nowadays fly around more often, but dude, like that is huge.

If it's okay, I'd like to share my experience with fantasy football.
I have been in a league, the same league, for now, I believe, 24 years.
We've been going to Las Vegas for our draft IRL for like, yeah,
I think like 20 of those years, maybe like 17, 18 for sure.
But yeah, for my first job, it's a great way to watch and be aware of football. But I also think there's a
lot of business tactics to learn from fantasy football. My favorite of which is categorizing a player as a high ceiling, high floor kind of draft pick bet.
It's a cool way to look at perspective opportunities and gauge how much effort you should be putting
into them or where you should be drafting them.
In what round, how do you achieve value?
I really think I learned a lot about deal-making and business from fantasy football.

And yeah, I've been told to bite my tongue on any alpha screenshots,
on any too much leak or type energy.
So honestly, I think everybody should just wait the roughly 20 days.

Let me release a little bit of insight about Pudgy Party.
bit of insight about Pudgy Party. The IC collab was a really cool little sneaky strategy
to work with a brand that has amazing distribution and for us as a company to have quite a low lift to put their mascot in our new very amazing game
that's been spent millions of dollars on. We were able to create the legal contract with another
entity by giving them a way into our ecosystem, but really gaining a path to theirs, like a bridge
to theirs. And that shit's in like movie theaters and, you know, amusement parks.
Icy has amazing distribution. And so, you know, these deals just take forever. And like,
it's so fascinating for me, like a deal maker and like a brand, you know, just such a like I'm all in on the brand.
Like I'm an enthusiast. I'm a fan.

On Sunday night, I was in one of the spaces with Loki, Loki the bird.
Some great people there, but it was on NFTs, right?
So we were actually talking about, and there were different communities like Azuki,
there was Klenosaurs, there was Paji Penguins, all represented there.
Because usually the spaces that I join are mostly Paji spaces, right?
So it's all just about Paji stuff, and that's great.
But for last Sunday, I got to see different communities as well, so that was pretty cool.
And everybody was just throwing respect to Paji and right, and the stuff that we've done.
But at the end of the space, we came to this idea of licensing and royalties.
And I pointed out something that a friend actually, I think, pointed out to me.
I heard it maybe in a podcast somewhere.
Is that we live in an age where we own the IP, right?
And that has never happened before.
Like, not even three, four years ago, this was unheard of, right? When you go to a store and you buy a Pokemon, you buy a Mickey Mouse, you buy a Hello Kitty, right? 100% of that
money goes back to the organization, right? Back to the company. You don't get anything other than
the value of, you know, owning that toy. But for the first time, right, with NFTs and blockchain
and Web3, we own the IP. I own that royalty. I get
that revenue share. I get that payout, right? And I don't think the world yet understands the
gravity of that situation. When they own something, you take ownership of it, you create with it,
you're empowered to do something with it. And when I first got my little Paji,
I didn't quite get that.
I just had it just in my wallet as an NFT
until I got to really go in-depth
into the community.
Now I'm creating stickers.
I print every time I go to conferences.
I print my Paji proudly on my T-shirt.
I print it out.
I go and wear it out in public.
I show the world that this is mine.
It belongs to me, right? And I'm here to share it with everybody. So to inspire anybody else in
the space today that if you've never done anything with your penguin, you've just been
holding it in your wallet. I mean, that's fine. That's great too. But if I can encourage you to
create with it, just use ChatGPT, make a sticker. I found a Gemini storybook telling thing
that you can make your penguin into a storybook.
You can do so much.
It's just literally,
I think you mentioned it earlier as well,
the sky's the limit, right?
It's up to your own creativity.
So yeah, really encourage penguins
to just go out and create.

You know, me as a collector, obviously a lot of you have seen my collection. I love collecting.
We have amazing collectors in our entire community. So this is where we grow from.

um since everybody was talking about um you know the secondary market sales with that shark suit going for five grand
um for a long time i've been in the collector vinyl toy scene um you know hundreds of dollars
on launch for these things um and looking at it from macro from a macro level um
i can tell that these budget penguins, they are building their secondary market so quickly that it's actually taken me aback how quickly that the secondary market for these things have been built compared to what I have seen from other companies in the past, you know, not in the crypto space,
just in the collector, collab, graffiti artist kind of space. It's really impressed me,
you know, what the shark suit, what De Minimis has done. So I'm really excited about it. And
it's really hyping me up because I've been a customizer in that area for a long time.
And so I'm, I'm, I'm wanting to, I've been trying to stockpile some of the plushes and
stuff like that, that I can get my hands on to start customizing them and turning them
into personal PFPs.
