Hello, hello.
How are you? So good to hear you.
I'm good, man.
Not too bad. Good to hear from you, too.
How are you doing?
Dude, pretty good.
I got finished moving to upstate New York.
My sister stole my house from me.
It was kindly gifted.
She's got a location-specific job.
But I'll be out there in January to do some boarding.
So if you're coming up the mountain, let me know.
I was just up there today, actually, not doing any snowboarding or anything.
It was super nice weather.
It was, like, in the 40s, so it was pretty warm.
But the reason I was up there is because around this time,
they give out those Christmas tree permits, you know?
So you can go chop down your own Christmas tree.
So what I did is I went, but instead of chopping down a Christmas tree,
I did, like, a little sapling, like, derooted it,
and I'm going to try and make it a bonsai.
So we'll see how that goes.
Dude, that's so cool.
I've never done that, but good luck.
It was – I have a couple.
This is the first time that I go and, like, harvest one,
but I was not anticipating the ground being frozen solid.
So it was kind of a bitch to dick through all that.
But we did it.
We made it work.
So now we'll see if it lives.
I'll keep you guys posted.
Speaking of posted, let's – I'm going to retweet the space,
give it a little boost, make sure people are in here for the Hero Space space.
And, yeah, I'll share this around.
But Mr. Cro-Magnus.
Yo, well, welcome.
We are, like – I live in the state that provides the second most amount of Christmas trees for the U.S.
and North Carolina.
There's a shit ton of Christmas tree farms around.
It always makes me sad to see.
I'm like, oh, that sucks.
Like, they cut them.
It just seems like – I don't know.
It's such a waste for sure.
Yeah, it just seems kind of wasteful.
See, the whole – my approach is I'm planning to keep this little guy alive.
So we'll see if I'm successful.
Yeah, I love that idea.
I think that's great.
We actually – we moved to, like, a miniature tree at a certain point.
We were just like, what's the point?
I can't, like – just this giant tree didn't make any sense for my little tiny family.
So we started using, like, a little tiny tree.
Bobby, what's happening?
Bobby, feel free to come up on stage.
You are on our guest, always.
Second to Hero Space tonight, unfortunately, but always on our.
Bobby, the legend.
And we got Old Man Maple down there speaking of trees.
Good to see you in here, Old Man Maple.
Speaking of trees.
That's the way.
It's grade A maples.
All right.
What's up?
What's up?
I am – I'm actually about to leave the grocery store.
I had to get some post-grass-touching snacks.
Some cereal.
The essentials.
Is that what the kids are calling it these days?
You know, the munchies.
Star patch kids, right?
Well, I couldn't miss this because I got the boy Hero doing his trait with you tonight, so that's sick.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, hey, jumping into it, Hero, come on.
What are we thinking?
You got to let us in.
Obviously, we're going to go plant-themed.
For any Naruto fans out there, the first Hokage, he has this ability where he can basically sprout a forest out of nothing.
So I'm thinking, like, some kind of a vine, kind of, like, incorporating – yeah, some kind of, like, you know, a curved, nicely, like, weirdly shaped branch or a vine or something like that.
Yeah, and I have a little video of an example that I can maybe pin somewhere.
Yeah, throw it down in the comments.
We'll pin it up.
There you go.
Are you guys familiar with Naruto?
Cro-Magnus, I feel like you might be into Naruto a little bit.
Yeah, I know what you're talking about during that – I know it was first shown in the fight with the Rochimaru, right?
It's one of the fights that hooks us.
It's, like, one of those first epic battles in the whole franchise.
Yeah, it is a badass one.
I was thinking about going through all of Shippuden next year as, like, my big anime adventure I go on.
That'll keep you busy for a couple months?
I was going to say, that'll take a while.
Yeah, that'll take me, like, half the year, probably.
Alright, let's see.
So here it is.
If – it's a little – I don't know if this is going to work.
It's a little long.
Stand by, please.
That's a – what, is it an oxymoron?
A little long?
It is, isn't it?
Yeah, oxymoron.
All right, I think I just put the link down there.
If I can't do that, I'll pin it on up.
Pin to the tab.
And then we want to go about three minutes and 56 seconds in, and then that's where it kind of happens.
So, yeah, he just kind of – you'll see just vines and trees start spawning all around him.
And then I like the texture, just the woodiness of these old-looking branches, thick kind of vegetation.
And I think it could be just maybe one, like, going around the avatar or maybe – I don't know.
We'll see what Crow thinks.
Yeah, hold on.
I'm going to watch this.
So, yeah, it's a little long, but the good stuff's around 356.
Cool, cool, cool.
Yeah, 356.
I was at 256.
I was at 256 like a dummy.
I'm sorry.
Look at me.
So embarrassing.
Cool, very cool.
So you're a big Naruto fan?
Yeah, it's one of the all-time classics, I think.
Oh, certainly.
It's one of my faves.
My favorite anime character is Itachi, so it's from that whole world.
Just the despair and the suffering and the sheer badassness that that man goes through.
What was the timestamp?
Did you say three-something or other?
Three-twenty?
Yeah, three-fifty-six.
This reminds me of something, too.
Man, I'll think of it.
It's kind of got some of the Akira final scene where his arm goes all wild.
The transformation where it kind of grows.
Yeah, I love the fight scenes in Naruto.
The choreography is...
Yeah, it really gives me...
Yeah, it gives me like...
It gives me real good like...
Shaw Brothers style kung fu movie vibes.
Just the angles and the timing and everything on it.
Versus now the new age anime, which is, you know, it's also cool.
You have like the Jujutsu Kaisens, all this, Chainsaw Man, that have cool choreography but rely heavily on like the flashy effects and colors and, you know, all that.
I like the more rooted...
I think it's a lot of like the spinning camera angles, too, and like ever since Attack on Titan, where characters sort of like fly a la Spider-Man, you know?
The camera angle kind of follows the characters.
They sort of like float through space, like you said, with lots of different colors and stuff.
I mean, it's good.
It's always got to keep evolving, you know?
I think what I like the most about it lately is just how loose it can be.
I don't know.
There's something uniquely valuable about, I think, the old school hand-drawn animations like Ninja Scrolls and even older than Naruto that we've lost.
You know, we've lost with the progression of digitization and the hand-drawn element frame by frame just adds a layer of, I don't know, just beauty that it's hard to achieve in this new age stuff.
Yeah, I lean more towards like anime-style characters from the 80s and 90s, especially in like the way the faces are drawn and stuff that have slightly different proportions even, too.
It definitely wasn't, didn't feel as heavily as emo, but yeah, it's just, it's good.
It's just nice to see it always keep evolving.
I think that's like what's most important.
Like, you can always go back and do a stylized anime in the style of, you know, a specific anime or a director or something, but I just was telling my, I was, I'm trying to get my wife to watch Perfect Blue, the Satoshi Kon.
It's like his, you know, sort of like that classic, very humanistic, realistic characters.
Yeah, I just love this stuff.
I watched that, I watched that at the Alamo Draft House on the big screen about two years ago.
Oh, that's awesome.
They just do random, yeah, they just air random films here and there, and that was one of the ones they had, and I had to go.
So it was, it was fucking amazing.
They had it on a 16 film, 16 millimeter film, I think, is what they had it on.
So it was like old school, you know, the real deal that unless they're doing cool stuff like that, it's really hard to catch an experience like that.
That sounds cool.
I haven't seen that movie yet.
I need to.
I've heard it's quite good.
Yeah, it's.
Any, any Satoshi Kon movie is good just for the sheer emotional, like, intensity of it all.
That's why I really, I love his sort of like really deep dives into psychosis and stuff.
It's really great.
Psychological thrillers.
Watching, but in animation.
That's right up my alley.
I was actually looking into an older anime that I liked when I was younger, and I found out that the company that animated it, like, forgot to renew their copyright for it.
And so now it's not being streamed anywhere.
So there's people selling old, like, DVDs on eBay for, like, $50 to $100.
So I've been scoping the eBay marketplace recently because I was like, oh my gosh, there's no other way I can see this or watch this again unless I go buy a DVD, which was just, like, mind-blowing to me.
Sweep the floor, dude.
Yeah, right?
I was like, oh, this just got so rare.
It's off the market.
You know, like, that's what we do.
You can find some really cheap anime on eBay.
Like, some of them will be bootleggy from, like, the Philippines and stuff.
They might not be playable on all players.
But, yeah, you can find some really weird oddball titles that just didn't make it to Crunchyroll or Netflix.
Yeah, it's interesting.
I'm sure there will be a lot of instances like that, like, in this digital age where we just lose that unless somebody has a recording of it or a physical copy somehow.
That's true for a lot of films, too.
I went to an experimental film school, so, you know, I don't know if you guys have ever heard of, like, Stan Brakhage and those sort of indie film guys, experimental film.
But unless you're in that department and, again, you know, because they have the original film roles of it, it's just they never digitized it.
It's just kind of sitting there locked away, not being appreciated by millions of people.
There must be thousands, thousands of those, right?
That's sad.
But kind of cool, because it's, like, it still exists, but it's only in some people's memories for the most part.
Yeah, it's becoming niche.
I guess, like, some other things now for us.
Like Chris said, it's just change.
Yeah, I mean, some things are, like, you can't beat film grain, you know, or even, like, some of the old, like, cell, you know, cell-shaded animation, like, traditional style, and just some of the irregularities in it and stuff is, like,
gives things a certain feel and vibe versus everything.
Now it's, like, digital and super, super clean and crisp.
Yeah, I think there's a place for that.
I think the first, the first anime I saw on the big screen was Ghost in the Shell, Mamoru Oshii.
It's another classic.
Yeah, and that was at Charles Street Theater when it was first released in, like, the 90s.
It was, like, this cool theater in Baltimore that would show a lot of foreign films and arthouse films, and they picked up the release of Ghost in the Shell, and I was so fucking stoked on seeing it.
I remember, I just, that was pretty mind-blowing.
It wasn't, like, a huge screen, like, an AMC screen.
It was, like, a smaller film screen, but still fun to see on a big screen.
I'm trying to remember the name of the group.
There's actually, like, a licensing group now that is doing re-releases of a lot of animation in theaters, a lot of anime in theaters.
I wish they could remember the name of their group.
There's a market there for sure.
Hey, Devin.
Hey, what's up?
Did you say you're in upstate New York now?
I'm in Rochester.
What were you thinking?
Uh, I've been to Ithaca, like, the Finger Lake.
Yeah, sure.
Ithaca's nice.
Really nice.
Super nice.
Super nice.
Went gorge diving in, like, the middle of February and almost fucking died of hypothermia.
That sounds about right.
Yeah, why would you do that?
They were doing the whole Polar Plunge thing.
Uh, what year?
Uh, fuck, what was it?
Maybe, like, 2012?
I was like, if it was 2018, we'd be at the same one.
No, this was a while ago.
Um, yeah, that's some cold water, all right.
And, uh, but a lot of fun.
Beautiful.
Definitely, uh, I do miss the mountains, but, yeah.
Just a different vibe.
It's good.
Quite enjoy Rochester.
But, yeah, for, uh, for everyone else, Bobby and Hero Space here are both, uh, Colorado locals.
So, we, we'd get up to some Colorado shenanigans sometimes.
Very few times with Hero, but we need to dig more.
Yes, a few times.
I did go up to, uh, I did go up to Eldora today.
Were you guys together?
Or where'd you go here?
I went to, I was in, like, uh, Lake Dillon area.
What, what, what mountain did you, Keystone, or?
I wasn't in the mountain.
It's, have you heard of the Frisco Peninsula?
Are you familiar with that little area?
Yeah, so I was, like, right there.
Which, what mountain is that?
I don't even know.
Uh, it is not Baldy.
It is not Buffalo.
It might be Buffalo.
But, yeah.
It's in there.
That's good.
Oh, did you hike a little bit?
Or a lot of it?
Uh, maybe, like, ten minutes.
And it's really as far as you want to go.
Because, you know.
Oh, no, I definitely, I know where you're talking.
Yeah, I think it's called, I think it's called Buffalo.
Not, not Buffalo.
Yeah, this is my first time there.
I, I've never been there before.
I have friends who start really early in the morning.
And they'll get to the top at, like, I think we're talking about the same place.
But they'll get to the top around noon.
Does that sound right?
It's, like, one run, but it's amazing.
And then you were in Eldora, you said?
Yeah, I went up to Eldora to hit the slopes for a couple hours today.
They got a good park there.
Yeah, this is the first year I've hit it up.
I, I hadn't gone to it last year.
It's the first spot I've been to this year.
It's nice and short, but they have a nice, a good park.
Some solid jumps and rails.
Yeah, I gotta wait a little bit farther into the season.
I'm getting my legs back under me.
I don't want to mess them up right in the middle of, or right in the beginning of the season.
It'd be tragic.
You know, that ACL, just hang up on that, hang up on the lip of that rail and just, just twist it out.
Oh, bro, what are you doing?
Why are you saying this?
Sorry, I don't.
That's terrifying.
I just, I'm not scared.
I know how it feels.
You get all crushed up, you get all excited, and then you go out and try to do something bigger than you should be doing.
And then it's just, like, the last run of the day.
For a while.
I've got a video of, when I went out with Will, Willianair, too, to most of you guys in this space.
We went out in Breck, and he hits, he's doing the big, big jumps, like the big ones, big boys.
And he hits the first two.
The second one, okay, he's a little short, but he, you know, he still lands it.
We're good.
And he goes for the third one, should not, because he lost a bunch of speed.
And the man goes up.
He is maybe, oh, man, I don't want to overestimate, but probably realistically 20 feet in the air.
I'll post the video.
And he comes down flat on the knuckle.
And I'm like, dad, man, he's dead.
He's dead.
But he hurt his knee pretty bad.
But he could walk.
So, no, I know what you're talking about, Crow.
I've never done it, because I manage my expectations, and I'm realistic with what I can hit.
But I've seen people do dumb stuff and just blow their knees out.
Some of the kids up there are incredibly good.
Like some 14-, 16-year-old kids, you'll see them just...
In the moguls, doing all the...
Like it's, yeah, like it's second nature for them.
Doing flips and everything, dude.
Yeah, it's so crazy if you look at any, like, the sports, how, like, the peak performance of athletes now is just, like, getting younger and younger.
Like, the youngest Olympic athlete, the last Olympics was, like, 14 or something like that, won gold.
Can you imagine winning gold medal at 14?
That's fucking crazy.
No, imagine losing to a 14-year-old.
I mean, in skateboarding, there's all these little ragers.
It's the same thing in b-boying.
Like, there's kids who start, it's a generational time thing because you have everyone who was now an adult in their, you know, 40s or something who had kids or in their 30s who had kids.
And they spent their whole lives skating, snowboarding, or whatever.
And their kids are getting on boards at, like, two.
And they really are, like you said, it's, like, second nature to them because it literally, they only, the only thing they've been doing longer is walking.
But they've only been walking, like, two years longer than they've been boarding for.
So, it's, like, yeah, they'll be doing crazy shit by, like, the time they're six.
Stuff that, like, you can't do and you're, like, 27.
You're, like, thinking, I might never be able to do that trick.
And they're just doing it, like, it's, like, nothing.
Like, nothing.
Back to back.
Yeah, just back switch.
They don't care.
Just going to go eat some fucking donuts afterwards.
Like, it's just nothing.
What I do like about that, though, is that the younger kids are getting their foundation earlier.
And therefore, it gives them a lot of leeway in developing their style.
So, they end up, like, coming up with some really original look and feels to the way they do board sports.
I mean, I'm just referring to board sports in general.
But I see that a lot.
Like, some of the younger kids have just crazy.
Like, pulling out, being able to have a larger repertoire of tricks.
Not, like, not being afraid of, like, turning little tiny tricks into big, wild original tricks.
You know, stuff.
Making really easy shit look just crazy cool.
Like, it's just, it's an easy trick, but they just tweaked it just enough.
Crow, do you know Zeb Powell?
Yeah, he's from North Carolina.
Oh, my God.
Oh, he is.
What was that, Lou?
No, we met Zeb Powell in a fucking airport one time, Crow.
Yep, we did.
But that's a good point.
He's 23 or something like that.
He's been winning stuff for a long time.
His style, because he's been on a snowboard, you know, just his story is very cool.
But it's just such a, like, there is no, it's like breakdancing on a snowboard while you're also, like, flying through the air.
The stuff he does is insane.
And to your point, I think that's exactly it.
Like, these younger kids have just had more time to figure out their own style.
Well, not just that.
It's like they, okay, so this is true in, like, every sport.
But specifically, like, skateboarding, snowboarding, all these things, like, you have this ever-increasing, like, bar of what is possible because of the advent of, like, YouTube and being able to break tricks down,
repeat them over and over and over again, and, like, see the, like, the actual things that you need to do to recreate those.
And so, like, the bar keeps on raising, bar keeps on raising.
And, like, I don't know.
Anyway, there used to be, like, a bevy of, like, these different, like, mountain bike instructors.
And I, I, for those of you who do not know, I used to be, like, semi-pro.
I was sponsored by a couple breweries and whatever for, like, cross-country racing.
And there used to be these people who go around and they, like, they would have skills courses.
And these skills courses would do a very good job of, like, giving you, like, hands-on stuff.
And now they're, like, losing viewership and attendance and stuff because people will just learn whatever they need to learn on YouTube
and they won't go to the skills course because they'll just, like, recreate the skills course in their backyard or whatever.
And I think the same thing happens across all these different sports that's, like, it's just the, it's just the YouTube effect
of just, like, being able to learn anything and then being able to incorporate that into your own repertoire.
And you do, you gain more time to focus on your own style because you're literally able to learn from, like, hundreds of others in your spare time.
And you can just, like, do that and absorb it and make it, like, a 24-7 interest as opposed to just, like, once a week or twice a week or whatever.
Not just depending on your own experience, being able to incorporate the experience of, like, all those who have come before you, I guess.
Is this how you won the Olympics back in 2016?
Is this how you won the Olympics?
I didn't do shit.
For all the sports in 2016?
Not in 2016, baby.
Remember, the only championship I've ever held is the Triwizard Championship.
That's the best kind of championship.
It really is.
Was it a successful one for you?
How did you get chosen?
Were you, like, second or third chosen?
Or, like, I don't want to, I don't want to say that, like, we fudged it a little bit, but we definitely wrote in a fourth school.
I've never been invited to the Triwizard Tournament.
I've never been that cool.
Which, by the way, the Goblet of Fire is subject to a re-entrancy attack.
That's all I'm saying.
Flew, have you been playing Baldur's Gate?
I feel like that's a game you would like.
So, I want to play it.
It's one of the very few that I did not pick up whenever it was new.
Just because I was relatively broke at the time.
But now that I'm sponsored by nametag, I'll probably pick it up.
So, we'll see.
Devin knows.
Bro, Devin, I just got off the phone with a friend that's been attending a lot of my spaces recently.
And she's like, she's talking to me and she's like, by the way, you know, in my work for Supra, I was like, wait a minute.
Fuck, you work for Supra?
And she's like, oh yeah, I must have forgotten to mention that.
I'm like, yeah, you forgot to mention that in the 40 fucking spaces that you attended of mine.
Yes, you definitely forgot to mention that.
Bro, we need to talk about our Oracle solutions.
Shit is crazy.
They raised like $28 million from private investment.
And then they raised another, they raised a public sale for like $3 million.
Which is half of what granted is in their public sale or whatever.
Oracles are hard, though.
Oracles are hard.
Yeah, oracles are hard.
Oracles are very hard.
What's funny is she actually has like a math degree, like an advanced math degree.
And she's on the biz dev team for Supra.
I'm like, damn.
Bro, that's fucking sick.
Killing it.
Anyway, I didn't really come in here for any specific reason.
I was just trying to get...
I was just trying to fuck with Crow about...
Crow, you need to come down to Basel.
I would, but I don't want to drive the full length of Florida.
I mean, that's a very...
That's a very fair issue.
Is there...
It is an issue.
Is there...
Can I just stop by your place on the way down to Florida?
Is that how geography works or no?
Is that not...
That's probably not how geography works.
In national geometry, it doesn't work that way.
National geometry?
Fucking nationalist geometry.
That's where you like...
That's where you're like...
You're like, squares come first.
Like, it's just...
We like to keep a square, square, you know?
Yeah, I got you.
We got it.
You can hyper...
Hyper jump from Louisiana to South Carolina
if you find the right portal.
But otherwise, yeah, there's really no...
There's not a whole lot of shortcut.
There's not a straight line from...
Austin, Dallas to...
I mean, I'm in Louisiana right now.
Tell me where the portal is.
We're good.
Dude, are you all...
You're in Louisiana right now?
Oh, you got a ways to go then.
You got a long way to go.
Are you stopping or are you following?
No, fuck no.
I'm not stopping.
You know me.
Oh, you're cannonball running it?
Yeah, dude, I did this shit for fucking Atlanta, too,
whenever I went to go meet the pink people
with the adjective animals, whatever.
I'm not going to talk about it.
A litter of adjective animals?
My favorite projects.
The ones that I'm not going to put on any songware
for the time being.
Well, kudos.
You drive safely out there.
Don't get a speeding ticket.
And someone reached out to me in a fucking DM
and they're like,
bro, you be careful.
Pull over if you're tired.
I flipped my car five times on the way to Comic-Con.
I was like, bro, you really think
that you would have learned by the third or fourth time?
Like, Jesus Christ, bro.
That's exactly...
They kept getting it fixed
and getting back on the road
and they flipped it again.
It's fucking disrespectful, bro.
Don't you have kids?
Like, what's wrong with you, dog?
Very successful car flip.
I feel like I would have learned
after the first car flip.
That's just me, though.
Yeah, like, I really would have done that.
Like, I've flipped a few cars
in the last year, too, Devin,
but, like, five times.
That seems excessive.
I wouldn't get in a car with him.
That's for sure.
He hasn't written back yet
and he works for a very large project,
so I might have burned a bridge,
but we'll see.
We shall see.
Junior, Bobby, Hero,
Billionaire, Ray David,
Untamed Peppers.
Is anyone here
going to be at Arf Basel?
Arf Basel,
as I prefer to call it.
Not Hero, not Junior?
Bobby, you're just going to be stuck up there
like bougie-ass Colorado?
Slumming it down here.
Sweating it out with the rest of us.
Yeah, you're going to be real sweaty
once you get there.
I mean, not really.
I'm from Texas.
It's really not that...
Yeah, it's not that hot.
It is annoying.
I've never been down that far.
It is annoying to be fucking December
and be like 80 fucking degrees,
but whatever.
Yeah, that's no fun.
You can go swimming in Miami, though.
Yeah, but then you have to go swimming in Miami.
If you ever fucking been to Miami,
you fucking hate Miami.
You should get like a Wave Runner
and just like Wave Runner,
their intercoastals, you know,
with like a little,
like a NFT Miami Art Basel flag.
Do you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, yeah.
Like, dude, I think...
Okay, so Sea-Doo is one of those brands
that I would approach to do like a sawn version
to like sell with their jet skis, you know?
Dude, they're practically the same shape.
Let's be honest.
You could make a jet ski sawn gear, sawn wear.
Dude, I think, Devin,
when and if we have unlimited money,
we just need to do mock-ups
for a bunch of different companies
and just ship them to them
and be like, here you go.
If you want more,
call this number for a good time, you know?
This could be us, but you playing?
Yeah, this could be us,
but you tripping.
Like, you're not even paying attention.
All right.
That sounds fun.
I kind of just want to see what that would look like.
Make a little model jet ski
where the sawn wear is the front.
Devin, are you there?
Bobby, go down and come back up, buddy.
Sorry, Bobby couldn't hear you, Devin.
Oh, got it.
But like a little model of a jet ski
where the sawn wear is the front piece
or it's like a holder.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, I think that'd be cool.
I think...
I still want to do the bookshelf speakers, man,
that are like the validators
for that one network.
You convinced DL to make speakers.
That sounds fun.
That's on you.
Bro, here's the thing.
I'm not going to convince him of shit.
The fucking grant or whatever
would convince him of it.
That's what the fuck would convince him.
Dude, you missed it.
He sent out a team email that said
we all have to do mushrooms
or we lose our jobs.
We have to do mushrooms
and listen to spatial audio on sawn wear.
It's true.
Dude, straight from the top.
I'm not fucking with you.
Well, great news.
I'm already there.
We're already good.
We're already good.
Also, FBI, if you're listening to this,
I'm just playing.
Remember, I'm driving.
I'm completely sober.
Me and the dragon in the backseat
are just stone-ass fucking sober.
Stone-ass sober.
I know, that's not a very nice thing
to call you, but that's all right.
It was not.
She's not a dragon.
Smoughgun to the mountain.
What if you play the Cat Cafe Fortnite map
that I found last night?
Or Captain Cat Sparrow,
or whatever.
I don't remember.
Are you serious?
There's a lot of them.
Like, this person,
this, like, artist made of an,
mother fucker,
a map in Fortnite.
it was like a Cat Cafe map
and you just had to go around
and find all the cats.
They were all, like,
they all had, like,
different personality and shit.
They're just, like,
cute little names.
what were some of the names
of the cats
from the Cat Cafe map?
We had Cat Sparrow.
We had, um...
I thought it was Captain Cat Sparrow.
Yeah, Captain Cat Sparrow.
I forget the Captain.
Yeah, that's true.
It's the title.
There was one named Swampy.
That's, like,
kind of a shitty name.
One was named Sweetkeeping.
one was named...
I reposted the video.
I reposted the video.
I'll have to put it up
to the space
because, like,
it's really cute.
They were really good.
I liked that.
and she's out...
She has a Twitter.
so it's easy to support.
I'll pin that up top.
I'm gonna shut the fuck up for you.
what about the names
that you put together?
They would have the
Sailor Moon reference,
which obviously...
But, like,
they were all, like...
I guess they all had, like,
scenes around them,
I found two of them
a little haunted house
sort of thing,
which was cool.
one of them was,
a Dracula,
on Caterpillar,
or whatever.
it was really cute
and I had one of them.
I think that my favorite one
was Meowth.
that one was good.
one of them was named
It was Aang
from Avatar,
The Last Incrubender,
but just, like,
it's Njong,
that sort of thing.
just in case,
you ever listen to this space,
I'm sorry,
we are not disrespecting
your trademark
or copyright,
Mr. Chris.
neither was,
neither was this artist.
it doesn't have anything
to do with your shit.
Please don't sue us.
All right.
we got some new people
in the space.
I do want to bring it
back around.
we got Mr.,
of course,
hero space in the space.
and I know we like to
more so spotlight,
our guests each week.
I just want to
quick ask you,
I ask every time,
what brought you into the space?
What's your journey
of Web3 so far?
that's the first question.
Take it as you will.
I first got into crypto
back with Bitcoin,
maybe around
messed around with that.
That was my introduction
and the whole space
and Web3 was,
became fascinated
Satoshi Nakamoto
and his whole
and the secrecy
and just the,
brilliance behind that.
started diving into that
and bought a little bit
on Coinbase,
nothing crazy.
and then the,
I think it was the 2018 bull run
So then I made a little bit of money
and then I figured,
what can I do with this?
And then Harmony
around that time,
So I was introduced to Harmony
through the Binance launch pad
I'm not really sure what drew me to them
other than
they were claiming to be different
faster than Ethereum
and this and that.
So I gave them a try,
put my eggs in one basket
and really
changed it from it just being crypto
and an investment
to more of a community
because that's when I
was brought on to
and all that.
through that,
it just kind of cascades after that.
you become aware of the NFTs
and all that.
And here we are,
Were you in,
were you in Juul?
and I actually still have some Juul
locked somewhere,
ever since they migrated.
there you go.
they converted it to,
to Jade and Crystal
and bullshit.
that was a big fucking L
on their side of like
disrespecting their holders,
but whatever.
I had like 140k locked Juul.
hard hit by that shit.
I didn't have that much.
I played with DeFi kingdoms
a little bit
and messed around
and had the Juul for that
for those reasons
and swapped it a couple times
for some Harmony
for some Juul and such.
once it became locked
and they were doing
the migrating
and Harmony's
whole bridging incident
and I just
stopped following
with them.
If you've,
if you've still got it,
you should check it out
try to get it off
of Harmony
and I can help you
with that clearly.
of the recent developments
I'm back on
the good side
of the team.
they had to get on
my good side
but that's a different story.
they've been doing
some cool shit.
I don't know,
what was your favorite
project on Harmony
not including DFK.
what was the thing
you had the most fun with?
I don't know.
What else was there?
Motherfucker's gonna be like,
I love Viper Swamp.
I never use Viper.
mainly just DeFi Kingdoms
I was playing that
and granted,
they were,
they were making moves
back then.
there was a point
where they were even,
people sharing them
on TikTok and stuff
and they were really,
they were doing things
in gamification.
I set all of that up.
the High Indian
was the dude
that was on TikTok.
High Indian,
High Indian was the guy
that I met
at like two o'clock
in the morning
to sell him
an Ethereum mining rig
I recruited him
at the gas station
because he was like,
I used to have like
600k followers
and I've been trying
to get back
into crypto.
I was like,
do you want to do
some stuff for us?
And he's like,
And I was like,
come and host
this AMA for us.
We need an AMA
this next week.
during that AMA
was actually the first time
that jewel price
hit a dollar
he went on
and then started
creating content
pretty consistently
and everything.
that was a,
that was a good,
that was a good period.
I was there for it,
I was there
through the progress
and the progression
the updates
they were doing things
and then shit
just happens,
you can only LARP
like you have a game
before they expect
you to actually,
before they expect
you to actually
have a fucking game.
So that's not,
that's not really
on anyone else
other than them,
but that's fine.
We're good.
That's fine.
We're not,
I'm not down bad
from that at all.
we're good.
how did you get off
of Harmony though?
I know that's only
part of the story.
I kind of interrupted
it and talked about Harmony.
Harmony did fuck me
I was able to
convert a lot of it.
That's how I have
all my own needs
and the NFTs
that I do have
is because
I was staking
of my bags.
during the heydays,
they were paying
out pretty good
and I was also
taking out some
of the big bags
to convert to ETH
and flip it
into JPEGs.
fortunately for me,
still exist.
so I was able
in a sense,
preserve some
of my Harmony
through the form
of NFTs now.
Generational wealth.
brought to you
by Harmony,
that was another
project that,
I was following
they were,
even when you guys
were on the team,
there was,
there was a good
There was a good,
there was good times,
shit happens.
I went from,
I went from being
on the team at DFK
to being on the team
at Harmony
I think that
what's funny is that
like people give
Jewel this,
I've talked to a lot
of people that have
been really surprised
by like the recent
price action or
I'm just like,
there's a lot of
bag holders for this
that are going to
jump all over any
like good development,
Just dump their
bags immediately.
they're going to
jump into it.
they're going to
we're actually doing
something.
We're going to
come back.
And I think it's
we're going to
see a very,
very similar effect
whenever we release
the platform,
the eventual
platform for San,
I think that's
going to be like
the wide reaching
moment where people
like kind of wake
up and realize
that like,
we're not fucking
spiders out here
or whatever,
but whatever.
I'm very excited
for the team
over there.
you swapped a bunch
of stuff from
over into,
how many Oni did you?
A bunch of other.
How many Oni did you get
back in the day?
Started with three
and then as those,
those prices,
that was like a lot
That was a lot of heat.
it was during the mint.
So it was like pre-reveal.
So I got some unrevealed
and back then you're
talking like 0.8
before it really started
shooting up.
you forget about,
you forget about the mint.
The mint was fucking nuts,
There's people who paid like
more than the price of the
actual NFT just for gas.
I had a friend,
oh my God,
not Shinsei,
that's his name.
I don't know if you knew
but Sashay was a mod for
he was actually deep in Oni
back then.
And I think that he had
something like,
ate Oni or something.
He kept on telling me to
I could have like swept at
that point because I was
getting paid like,
I don't know,
30 grand a week from
fucking DFK.
And I could have just
absolutely destroyed that
That was like,
that's probably one of my
largest regrets in crypto.
Hero is not sweeping Oni
and building up an ETH NFT
portfolio with Oni at that
Like that's still one of my
greatest regrets.
Mine is not unleashing any
I didn't let go of any of
so I got them,
I didn't mint them.
So I got them on secondary
once I tried to mint,
but that was impossible.
I got gassed out in the wars.
So then I went to open C and
prices just started rising.
it was like,
I think the first one I
bought for was 0.4.
And by the last one,
it was 0.8.
but this is again,
pre reveal.
And then they started revealing
and then they started shooting
Prices started going before
it was like four ETH and then
I had one that was uncommon
that I was getting offers for
like 12 ETH and shit,
And I'm sitting there like,
you know what?
I'm going to write it and
this and that.
we're still,
we're still here.
But then I did trade.
I've increased my arsenal since
I have now five where with the
ups and downs,
I've traded like a more rare
one for two common ones and
but then I did lock down,
only started the whole drama
happening and it going to
At this time,
harmony was still doing
So then I just took out more
of that and through at that
point for like the,
my PFP that I have now,
that one was like four ETH,
So after the heyday,
it sort of dies down.
I was able to pick up the more
rare ones with harmony
liquidation.
And I just basically kept doing
that with my harmony bags.
And then the,
the bridge happened and then
that's when any remaining
harmony I had was
sort of a consumed by the
ether gods.
I lost like a couple hundred
grand in stables.
four or five dollars.
At least four or five dollars.
That's where I was at.
It's fine.
All I remember was,
was getting on the plane to go to
NFT NYC and that shit,
that shit hit the news.
And you guys were all like,
we were like going to fund the
whole project through harmony.
And then with that,
I remember getting on the plane,
just being like,
it's over.
It's over.
There's no money.
It's gone.
It's gone.
Look at this shit.
It's just,
they just vacuumed it out.
Look at it.
It's all gone.
They took everything.
Just vaporized.
It was just like,
they're like,
please fasten your seatbelt.
So I was like,
Oh my God.
You're watching him.
And then my internet,
then the internet goes dead.
And you're just like,
that was such a bad.
that was one of the worst flights I ever had.
Of course,
like I didn't lose any money,
so I didn't feel like you guys did,
that was a surreal moment for sure.
that's all I got into at three.
That's awesome.
here's space.
You got one of the best owning.
I'm not even,
I'm not just like trying to brown nose or anything.
You do have like,
I know you've had that one for a while.
it took me a while to curate it and like pick it out.
And you know,
I had the,
my converted harmony into now ETH and I'm just going,
making offers on the ones I like,
but this one I had my eye on and it was owned by this guy.
And did you know Matt who used to be pretty active?
I haven't seen him around in a while.
And he put it up for sale for like six ETH.
Cause he never had it listed.
He just had,
he was holding it and I watched it and I was like,
I fucking want that one.
But then he posted it for sale.
And I was like,
I need it,
but I don't have the ETH.
I don't have that much.
And again,
going back to harmony because I was staking it,
I had to unstake it.
And it's like the whole seven epochs.
So you have to wait and all this.
So I'm like,
please do just don't fucking sell it.
This shit's coming.
Like my funds are coming.
He's like,
what do you mean they're coming?
Like I had to explain to him this whole thing of like how they're locked and
this and that.
And he was sketched out by that.
He was like,
I don't think he really cared for harmony or anything or knew of anything of it.
So he was kind of apprehensive,
but then I convinced him because luckily no one took it for the six ETH that he
was asking.
And then I had the four available and he accepted.
it took some negotiating for sure,
but I love it.
Has the cat ears and homage to my cat.
Love that bitch.
She's 12 years old.
I've had her the whole time since she was a little kitten and it's the whole lot
of the cat worked its magic with.
she was originally my roommates,
my roommates cat in college.
we got an apartment with like this dude that I met in the dorms and shit.
So it was like three guys.
We got an apartment and then summer comes around.
This dude gets a job.
And then he says that his coworkers cat had a litter.
So he just like wanted one.
So now the apartment had a cat and that was cool,
But then when that lease ended and everyone sort of started going their own ways,
he was just going to take it to the shelter and kind of give it up,
surrender it.
And I was like,
what the fuck?
Like I've pretty much grown attached to this cat.
So I guess I'll take her.
And she's been with me since.
That was 12 years ago.
That's awesome.
Love hearing cat,
cat love stories,
cat romance stories.
You fall in love with a cat,
cat sort of makes you fall in love with it.
And then you have to whisk it away.
Have you ever played final fantasy 14?
You sound like you've played final fantasy 14.
Maybe a couple of times.
just maybe.
I love how accurately I was able to call that.
That was beautiful.
I had a college,
I had college cats to the cat where everyone graduates college and no one
really wants to go take the cat.
The cat's like going to impede your ability to get your first job out of
college or some stupid logic like that.
Are you going back to your parent's house?
That was my case.
I was going straight back into mom's and she was like,
you have a cat now.
So that's how I ended up with my college cat,
He was this big black long haired cat.
he might've been part main coon cause he was big.
And my girl,
my ex-girlfriend was,
we basically broke up and she was going back to Louisville and I was going,
to North Carolina.
she was like,
my parents won't,
won't take the cat.
So you're gonna have to take it.
I was like,
well of course I'm going to take the fricking cat.
I'm not going to like,
let you give the cat up to a shelter.
Cause I love that cat.
And then I had it for it gives him to live to like 14.
That was my diabetic cat.
I had a cat with diabetes.
That was another whole like daily insulin shots and everything.
It was like a labor of love,
but to give it back to you.
I've been pretty lucky with this one.
no real health health issues yet.
Fortunately,
except maybe her teeth,
her teeth were kind of bad.
So she had to get them pulled.
So she's basically toothless in the back,
no molars,
just kind of the canines in the front teeth.
So she can't chew kibble anymore.
It has to be good old wet food.
it's fine.
That's fine.
If anything,
the wet food is better for her anyway.
I have a whole subscription and everything for this bitch,
I get a package of frozen human grade cat food.
Every like six weeks.
That's what she.
She'll live long life.
That's the plan.
I want her to meet the kids.
Hopefully if and when.
I don't have much time,
if that's the case.
Quit your job.
Download Tinder.
I'm already.
I'm locked down.
I knew that.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
Don't do either of the things I just said.
Please keep your job.
So it's just,
you got to figure out when,
when we're going to have kids,
at this point.
I tell that to my buddy who has,
he's the same age as me and he has two kids.
One of them is like nine.
The other one is three.
And it's crazy that,
I see that.
I've seen his kids grow up and time just kind of flies.
And he tells me like,
when the fuck are you having kids?
I don't know,
I'm not ready.
He's like,
you're never going to fucking be ready.
You just gotta,
just gotta,
kind of do it.
So I'm going to take the leap.
I want kids though.
I'm ready.
I want them.
I definitely want little kiddos at a boy.
How are you,
What's up,
I saw my guy here.
We'll space up here.
I was like,
trifecta is getting together.
There it is.
You guys hear your voice,
just wait for,
for hero space junior to show up in the space.
I've had my wallet since I was three.
he's good to know everything.
He's going to be the best skateboarder.
He's going to have all the crypto.
Inherit your own.
He's going to be on boarded immediately.
As soon as he's out.
That's funny.
That is so funny.
Do you want kids,
not right now.
I was going to pass it to junior with any of the,
the kids advice.
I knew it was coming.
I knew the question was coming for you,
Chasing you down.
Like a stranger in an alley.
When are the kids coming,
When are the kids,
the kids are coming soon.
not anytime soon.
You're still young though,
You're like 27.
I could not tell you.
I think 20,
Now you're young as shit,
You got plenty of time.
So it's time.
how old are you?
Holy shit.
I did not know that.
You had a very great junior.
We've made a lot of,
we've made a lot of comments over time.
my oldest stepson is 26.
That just put a lot into perspective.
What do you mean?
I'm your oldest stepson.
you're fucking miles ahead of where most 26 year olds are.
I'm closer to Devin's dad's age than I'm closer to daddy.
To be fair,
Devin's dad,
you get it.
He's a handsome dude.
Jay's looking at me really sus right now.
Cause I thought someone was going to make a mom joke next.
And I was like,
Don't make a joke about Devin's mom.
He's off limits.
Let's not do that.
Devin and I made a joke about Devin's mom just a few days ago.
And it was a fun time and everyone laughed.
That's what the holidays are for flu.
It's about family.
It's about family driving in a car,
Florida and family.
Sean toast.
Sean toast is down there in the audience.
Sean toast.
I have great news for you.
apparently you have a token drop or some shit waiting on you from the super spaces team
because you were,
you were like listed as my,
my number one cohost for the year.
because I'm in like the top percentage of whatever fucking street,
like fucking space hosts as my coast,
you get like a token drop or some shit.
I don't know.
I'm supposed to meet with super spaces about this shit tomorrow.
So I'm sure that we've each gotten a whopping total of like $10,
but I just thought you should be aware of that.
the fact that Sean toast was listed as like my most common cohost is fucking
hilarious.
And it shows you like exactly how rare it is for me to have any sort of
consistent cohost whatsoever,
because like who the fuck is going to set up and host spaces with me at
whatever weird ass hours that I decide to do this shit while.
Shantos is the brave one.
The bravest of us all.
if you had told me I could make $10 for showing up for the last six months,
of course I would have came.
obviously.
I'm waiting to see like what this is.
They like,
they sent me like a fucking book in my DMS after like they made this,
this publicity,
this publicly available post.
And they're like,
Congratulations to
the portal,
the portal's getting him crow.
He's getting stuck into the portal.
Time traveling to,
to Fort Lauderdale.
There he goes.
here he goes.
And he's gone.
I should just start doing like that on lyrics every time.
So that eventually it works out,
around the world,
around the world.
Do robot rock next.
I'm liking all the twists and turns on this.
I'm just connecting the dots here,
It's like a root system gone wild here.
the problem is if you like cover up too much of the face,
you'll lose,
you'll lose a lot.
So you got to make some interesting shapes sort of like weave around
everything.
It's like the,
the Medusa trait for the ether collection.
I hate that we all absolutely just know what that means.
And I think any other person in the world would be like,
what did you just say?
What was that?
I've tried so hard during this event,
during our fucking EFB event.
people are like,
isn't that kind of high price?
And I'll like,
look at their,
their fucking wallet.
They minted ether.
And I'm just like,
I'm not going to say it.
I'm not going to say it.
I'm not going to do it.
I'm not going to say it.
Not going to do it.
I'm not going to do it.
I'm not going to say it.
It's not going to happen.
Proceeds to scream it at them in all caps.
I want a fucking automated tool.
Like to connect these things.
Like anytime anyone on Twitter is like,
is it really worth the point too?
I want to see the dumb shit that they've fucking invented in the past for like way more.
I just want to,
I just want to talk.
I just want to talk to them.
like I just want to fucking talk.
That would be amazing.
Some get a dev and build that shit.
Cause that would be awesome.
I actually,
So I have someone who's done this,
who has like the,
the API stuff.
Like they don't even have the API.
They have like historical Twitter data for like millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of tweets.
And so what they did with it is they built a tool that allows you to see the current performance of every coin that they ever mentioned on the timeline.
And then it also like it tracks a bunch of the wallets of like the top like thousand crypto Twitter people.
And so they have like wallets tied to all of those things.
And so they can see like,
did this person buy and pump and dump it?
Or did this person buy and like actually take a loss on it?
Or did this person buy and sell eventually?
Like so on and so forth.
And it can run like a report card on all the different Twitter influencers.
So they start shopping this around to like VCs and shit.
And apparently one of the VCs like didn't bite on it because it showed that all of the influencers that they were using were like garbage.
And we're just like pumping and dumping the shit out of their tokens and stuff.
I was just laughing so fucking hard as this dude was telling me about it.
And he was like,
and they wouldn't buy,
they wouldn't give us any money.
And they wanted us to just like not talk to them again and not like mention them and not run reports and like to blacklist the shit.
I want to know who this VC is.
He's like,
there's not a chance in hell that I am telling you who this VC is.
I was like,
you know what?
God's honest truth.
That's probably the right decision.
I'm not going to lie to you,
So we're building this full trans full transparency tool.
And then we realized that when we applied our full transparency tool to ourselves,
people started.
I asked the guy for a report code on me and he was like,
yours is pretty good.
Yours is pretty good.
But I never actually got to see it.
And I was just like kind of disappointed by that.
What happened to all that portal coin flu?
portal coin,
Portal coin is portal coin and AP portaling.
It portals out of my wallet and into someone else's.
Portal coin of all.
I thought it was amazing how they were.
They're working with star Atlas,
So it's totally going to exist at some point.
Portal coin coming in 2026.
after GTA.
the 2025 at the end of that trailer broke my fucking heart.
I'm not going to lie to you.
It's not coming out till 2025.
That's what it says at the end of the fucking trailer.
It's just like 2025.
They show you all this stuff.
this looks great.
This looks awesome.
And then you just rip a bandaid off like 25.
Peace out.
but I saw some,
I didn't have any expectations and I was still disappointed.
That's a good way to put it.
I didn't know this game was coming out.
You could have waited a year to tell me it was coming out and then just released it.
You know what I mean?
Can you imagine the hype that would have existed if they're just like dropping now or whatever?
That'd be wild.
But there was,
I think there's a,
Devolver Digital does that all the time during E3 and whatever.
back whenever E3 existed.
And Devolver Digital used to just drop games like those days.
Like they'd be like,
this is playable now.
This is playable now.
This is playable now.
I don't know.
You have some people who have tried the,
the drop it now.
And it's also like,
let's see.
I guess in music,
like Andre 3000's new album dropped like the news that it was coming out.
It's other rumors,
But the news that was coming out and then it was available.
And I think that's maybe not lasted as long in like people talking about it as it probably should have.
I don't know.
Like the track also kind of speaks for itself,
I don't know if GTA,
if they just drop it,
if people talk about it,
now people are at least talking about it for the next year and they can release content without it leaking.
That could have just been to get ahead of any leaks that might,
might be coming along and not be,
not have any control over that.
So just be like,
Here's what it looks like.
So anything you see now,
like you've already seen it,
you already know it's there.
They got ahead of it.
you a GTA guy?
Grand Theft Auto.
I'll play with it.
it's not one of my faves,
but I'll probably check it out.
I was not allowed to play it growing up.
weaved my fucking hero space.
Two years ago.
get on the souls gang.
you never play any souls games,
I've played,
I've played Bloodborne like six times,
like all the way through.
It's a fucking classic.
It's amazing.
It's a beautiful game.
I'm glad to hear that.
What about Elden Ring?
You play any of that?
I've played about half of Elden Ring,
but I have not finished it.
missing out.
Unfortunately,
Elden Ring,
Elden Ring came out and was popular during the time that I was working on blockchain,
and therefore,
I haven't finished a fucking thing.
Cause like,
it just hasn't,
I just haven't had time.
Grand Theft Auto,
they're fun,
these games get to a point where it's very repetitive.
It's like the same shit,
different,
it's dressed differently,
but it's the same mission styles,
First person shit.
That is why.
Same with like the Call of Duties,
It's the same shit,
dressed differently.
and I guess to an extent,
you can say that about the SoF games too.
we love Call of Duty.
I'll take dives,
I'll do Fortnite.
We're permable.
I'll do all of it.
Let me just,
just be clear here.
We all have Call of Duty.
I'll take some dives in duty,
they're A tier games.
They're not S tier.
we'll leave it at that.
We'll leave it at that.
I'll put Final Fantasy in S tier.
That's S tier for sure.
I don't really love Fortnite.
I would put Fortnite in B tier,
but I do love,
I'll say this about Fortnite.
they are the closest thing to a metaverse that we have today.
They're doing really good.
Also here,
check your DMs.
What'd you say?
stop doing that.
I swear to God.
Here is space.
Do not say absolutely anything.
don't do that.
I'm going to Basel and I have to show it off.
don't do that.
Don't do that.
Did you ship me the other one?
I said tomorrow morning.
All right.
I have to go to a party tomorrow,
So tomorrow night at the AVAX party.
which one will I have to show off at there?
And AVAX is the perfect place to do that.
You know that.
You know it.
It's all good.
We're good.
Is he showing off our C-Doo custom sponsored?
Motherfucker.
I'm showing off the C-Doo thing.
Don't worry.
Don't worry,
I knew it.
The secret is safe.
All right.
Moving on.
Different topic.
we'll go back to Bloodborne.
That's another S tier game,
They're just,
I don't know.
the Frimp Software folks,
they just have a fucking recipe for just beautiful fucking games.
So hero question,
question for you,
my brother,
whenever I,
the fucking giveaway of the armored,
the fucking armored core contest,
where I like spent like fucking six hours,
Devin can vouch for me,
making the fucking song logo in armored core.
And then no one entered my fucking giveaway.
Not a single goddamn person.
I didn't even,
I didn't even hear about this giveaway.
I do know that I made a,
a mech with song sound gear all over it.
I posted it and everything.
there was a,
there was like a ready-made song logo for you to use.
like dude.
it took me a fucking minute to craft the one I used.
I'll tell you that.
I was on the phone with Devin,
like discussing it.
I was like,
this is exactly what I mean though.
Notice how they,
these fucking developers thought about this.
they gave us the tools.
They gave us like a dumbed down Photoshop inside of the game.
That is a whole nother game of itself.
Just making these fucking logos.
And I'm telling you,
like there,
it takes a certain craftsmanship to,
to make games,
this sort of addicting and like good,
in my opinion.
And arm records,
another example,
And I don't love,
I would put armor core as an,
another eight here.
That's not an S tier.
it's good,
but it won't,
it's not the,
the replay value,
all these things need to be considered.
I don't think that it has the same amount of replay values,
like Elden ring or whatever.
my new favorite game crow is to just tell people to check their DMS while on a song space,
but I'll send them like a picture of my cat.
And Devin's just going to freak out.
you want some alpha?
Check your DMS.
Devin's like,
he sent me a picture of his cat.
are you okay,
Devin wakes up in like deep sweats at like 4am,
just like straight up out of bed.
We're just waking up from the worst nightmare.
You just walking around that thing slung around your neck,
just showing off to any fucking Tom,
Dick and Harry.
Just like,
check this out.
look at this.
Check your DMS.
I'm not going to sleep a wink tomorrow night.
DL sleeps right through it.
he's not even the least at work though.
Devin though.
what's funny is that like,
I make fun of Devin for this now,
but I'm going to be sweating so fucking hard tomorrow night to make sure
there's no cameras whatsoever.
Whenever I'm letting people demo these fucking things,
that's actually true.
I'm going to be sweating like a motherfucker.
And it's going to be hot.
That shit.
He's down there.
You need that.
you need the Hennessy drawstring bag to put over it.
You know what I'm saying?
And you're like only,
you can only just like walk around with the bag on it and then reveal only
for the specific moments.
Go get some Hennessy or some crown Royal.
Get the bag.
That'd be cool.
What if I just draw on it with a Sharpie?
I hate that.
Don't do that.
Junior just unmuted just for that.
Junior's like fucking what?
send it to me.
I want to see which one he sent you.
you don't.
it's not a render anymore.
So I'll just say that.
All right.
Off the topic.
How are we,
how are we doing back crow?
What's going on?
I'm doing good here.
check your DMS.
Check your DMS.
Check your DMS.
It's all there.
Everything,
everything we've built for the last few years.
It's all in your DMS.
Tired of hiding it all.
Do you do that?
impressive,
impressive.
In a digestible state,
pass that to me.
Cause I need that.
Devin's just mad because I have better documentation for our smart contract stuff.
We've got pretty good documentation,
I was like,
I read through it.
It was like,
it was like this new contractor that we're using or whatever.
I read through it.
I was like,
Devin would love this.
And I just sent it to you.
I was like,
check it out,
I read all of it.
It was good.
that's dude.
We're going to have an MVP on like the 15th.
That's the crazy part.
that's very cool.
So we only started like development and like shit,
like a week ago.
And we're going to have that shit done.
I want to use the same guy for something for us because he's so fucking fast.
You don't want me to write our smart contract documentation.
I mean like the dude who's doing the front end.
Is he replacing me?
Like there's,
I literally have two different devs on this.
And then the guy who,
who wrote that documentation is actually literally just a technical writer that backs up the back end.
So you have Ian and who else?
dragon master DX,
the front end guy.
there's another gentleman that I can't name.
That's the back end.
And then there's another gentleman that I cannot name.
That's the back end devs like technical writer.
Cajun rice.
what's this?
I'm driving through Louisiana.
I still wouldn't fucking use dirty.
that sounds really good right now.
like he's a,
he's very talented.
He's a fucking dick.
He's more of a dick than I am.
And that's saying a lot.
I'm aware that you're a dick.
Now that he is more of a,
you should be aware that he's a dick.
If I'm calling him a dick,
he's definitely a fucking dick.
have I ever called anyone a dick and been wrong?
All right,
It takes me to have some pretty solid,
he has solid dick dar.
I can pick a dick out from a crowd.
I tell you what,
I can pick a Tom and a Harry out too,
but no one,
no one respects that ability.
Jay's like,
Jay has headphones on.
I'd like to imagine that the only reason that the Vitalik dick meme came about.
Jacob coming in from the bottom of a well.
Can you hear me?
Now we can.
I was saying,
I'd like to imagine flu is the reason that the Vitalik dick pic went viral.
Like flu took it secretly.
No one knows,
we know flu.
like Jack's through was at that party that that picture was taken.
That makes a lot of sense.
I was like,
I was like,
that's awesome.
It's legendary.
I put that shit on my tombstone.
that's a timeless picture.
My friend.
Were you there the day that he bumped?
Were you there the way?
I feel like,
I feel like every,
every cryptocurrency investor in the United States has two core memories.
if you're old enough,
one was nine 11,
where you were on nine 11.
And the other one was where you were whenever you first saw the,
the metallic dick pic.
That's in my brain.
Both of them.
I don't know.
I would add in there.
I would just say.
If I had to add any other event in there,
the day that the Nintendo Wii came out is a pretty good year.
The day was a good year.
it was a great year.
That Christmas,
that whole season,
that whole time,
the Wii had just come out.
Wii sports told people that they were fat.
Do you remember that?
they like sold a,
you're putting the Nintendo Wii,
which is granted wonderful and amazing on the same level as nine 11 and the
vitalic dick pic.
I don't know if we're on the same page,
It's a core,
core childhood memory.
Flew was talking about core traumatic memories.
I had to throw in something else in there.
That's not so traumatic.
it's just out there.
A wild conversation.
Just wild.
Is that a Wiimote or are you just happy to see me?
a little bit of both.
But that was just a Wiimote in this pocket.
Is it a song where in your pocket or I keep that thing on me?
It's a Wiimote.
Soundwear does not,
should not go into your pocket.
It should be proudly presented wrapped around your,
on a lanyard around your neck.
check your DMS.
And I swear to God.
it's a good comment.
you sent that a while ago.
I actually forgot that I sent anything.
I was just expecting you to come back and be like,
I don't see anything.
So I had to go and look at your DMS.
I had to check your DMS.
To figure out what you were fucking responding to.
Gaze into the DMS.
Gaze also.
Gaze back.
You know what I'm sad about?
Why do we have 68 jungle blaze now?
It was perfect.
The metaphor was there.
It was there.
Now only the OGs remember.
I guess technically and the blockchain,
it's going to get,
it's going to get less and less.
Fewer and fewer.
Jungle blaze will exist.
As people redeem them.
As they should.
I got a question about that.
does that mean they get rarer?
I was just going to say.
I was roasting you in the meeting you weren't in earlier.
Because I said,
you saw your car that you're currently driving in.
On a rarity sniper.
Or rarity tools.
And you bought it because of that.
That's actually true.
For those of you not aware,
I bought my car.
There's only 40 of this specific color in the United States.
And I was just like,
it's an NFT.
that was it.
It's just like a one of 40.
That's it.
He's not joking.
He called me when it happened.
There's only 40.
I think I'm going to get it.
But there's like 15,000 of them in Italy,
if not color.
Every hundred thousand.
They're like,
they're like,
we're going to send
40 of these to the Americans.
we're going to keep the rest of them.
They think they have something rare.
They don't.
Fucking Italians, bro.
I don't even know.
Do you like it though?
This is a long trip for you.
Do you like the feel?
Do you like the ride?
Do you think this one's a keeper?
I'll probably keep this one for,
for a little bit.
I'm not going to trade it in for a little bit.
this is about the peak of what I can do for a little bit.
it's good.
I don't know about that flu.
I just want to say you change cars more than some people change their underwear.
That's true.
But also I'm like the last one,
the fucking truck.
I had taken it in a Nissan,
like fucking four times to get that shit fixed.
And they would not fix it.
Like they would not apply the TSB from another car to that one.
And so like,
what it would do is it would be like a mile behind on like a five mile trip on the GPS.
It was like,
it literally had a delay in between like the car play and the fucking actual directions.
And I could not fucking deal with it.
And I was,
I bitched about it to Devin whenever I arrived in Denver one time,
because I'd driven up there from Texas.
It was like 20 miles behind at one point.
I kept on having to like unplug it,
plug it back in.
Audio glitching and shit.
It was just,
it was a fucking awful experience.
And I was just like,
and it's whatever dude,
like that,
this is the one car this year that I didn't make a profit on the flip.
So it's all fine.
Like it's good.
I made a profit on the,
on the type R.
I made a profit on the one before that,
I don't even fucking remember.
I made a profit on the Supra.
I made a profit on the,
the Camry.
I made a profit on the,
the type R and I made a profit on the,
I didn't make a profit on the,
that's the one that I took an hour on.
But the other one,
that I had before the type R,
which I don't even fucking remember.
I don't remember either.
what did I trade the,
trade both of the Supra and the Camry for the type R,
cause you said the,
the bottom issues on it.
What did I do?
So I traded the Supra and the Camry.
Did I trade it for the type R?
Did I trade it for something different?
Or was it the type R and then the truck and then this?
That's exactly it.
It was the type R and the truck.
that was it.
That's not that bad.
That's only five cars in one year.
but that all happened in the span of like three months.
That's not important.
now they know.
now they know.
Now they know.
but I had two of the cars for like over a year.
I think I had like a record.
the Camry I had for like two years.
Camry you had for a long time.
the Camry I had for like two and a half,
three years.
And then the Supra I had for like a year and a half.
It wasn't that bad.
But again.
Three months in like three cars.
I got you.
But like part of it was just me not wanting to pay a fucking car payment.
So I was just like,
if I can flip it,
And then I'll just like trade it back in before I need to pay the first car payment.
That's what I did.
So it's all good.
I never paid a car payment on the,
on the Civic or the truck just for the record.
On this recorded space.
You've never embarrassed me once in your life.
You've never embarrassed me once in your life.
I've embarrassed you so much.
That's cute.
You're cute.
Go back to my book.
All right,
go back to your book.
I love you too.
I'm curious,
have you been,
have you been messing around with Fortnite?
Not really.
not enough.
I've played a couple of times with the Oni since they're doing their,
that whole map.
And then in preparation for like the testing out of the map,
I did a couple of runs in the free for all.
but I'm sticking to no builds since I am nowhere near the skill to do builds.
I feel that.
I feel that.
I see clips of people doing these crazy things and I'm like,
if you can build as fast as Eminem can wrap,
I'm sorry,
I don't want to play with you.
I feel it.
Do you play Fortnite or?
I just recently,
picked it up again.
I don't have a console.
I only play on my phone,
which is a tragedy.
But now that I,
your boy has an income again,
I told myself what I'm going to do for myself for Christmas is I'm going to
buy an Asus ROG ally,
little handheld PC.
Get a Lenovo Legion or a steam deck,
The allies are like,
the allies are having some issues,
They're like fucking roasting SD cards.
And so you have to,
careful about the allies.
You have to get like an R seven or an R eight,
which are like the revisions of the hardware.
and those are still very,
very hard to find currently.
So if you do get an ally,
make sure that you like,
you can read the,
the serial number before you buy one.
And if you need help with help with that,
let me know.
I'll fucking,
show you some links on like what to watch out for or whatever.
I collect game.
I collect like handheld gaming devices and retro like gaming devices and stuff.
And so I have like a steam deck.
I had an ally and I was able to dump it as soon as I found out about the issue.
random first on Craigslist.
what was the,
not the steam deck,
but the other one,
Lenovo Legion.
Lenovo Legion.
So like a handheld PC.
And Lenovo Legion is actually really interesting because it has like the,
the detachable,
joy-con style,
like controllers on the sides.
That'd be under gaming PC.
Just search Lenovo Legion on Google.
It brought up like a bunch of laptops.
Do I have the name wrong?
Legion go.
That's what it is.
Legion go.
Look at you.
But you could,
and here's an alternate thing.
If you find someone dumping a,
ally on the secondary,
cause there's a lot of people doing it right now.
They're like $300,
you can sometimes get them like $250.
but if you can find someone that's doing that with like an R7,
that's actually a fucking fantastic deal.
but full price for one right now is not a good deal because like you can get
them so easily on secondary for like half.
Even like that.
I got to ask flu,
since we're getting all into the gaming,
what's the,
operating system on this windows.
What is actually plan on playing with the device?
Depending on that,
cause like a lot of these different,
handheld PCs,
they have some very,
very specific issues.
Like people get banned for playing the new call of duty on the legion go or whatever.
And now I,
because like,
like they're not fully supported,
they're not fully supported.
The work rounds that you have to do to make them work.
Technically,
in terms of service of like certain games and shit.
you have to be really careful about compatibility issues.
And like the,
the one that's best for compatibility right now is the steam deck.
And even that is not super compatible with a lot of shit that you're using.
So oftentimes if you're in it for PC gaming,
it would be better to go with a budget laptop as,
if you're in it for things like Fortnite,
buy a fucking switch.
it's just like,
it's there.
It depends on what you want to do.
I'm not buying a switch again.
I'm not buying a switch again.
Not again.
get an Xbox series S.
Get a PS5.
it's like,
the exclusives,
all the fucking way.
The whole goddamn way.
I have everything.
I play my PS5 a hundred times more than the rest of everything combined.
But here's,
here's what I'll say to that is,
can I play it on the toilet?
And that's,
you absolutely can.
You install,
remote play on your phone.
you can play your PS5 for free toilet.
He's not wrong.
Then I'm just playing on my phone again.
I don't want to do that.
It's full circle to the thing I don't want to do.
Get a fucking portal then.
Be one of the five people that has a PlayStation portal.
set up your TV in your bathroom.
Or better yet,
realize that you could probably just sit on your couch.
Just go take a fucking shit and stop playing games for a few minutes.
What the fuck is wrong with you?
that's the feature,
not the bug.
I just want the ability.
I was to lobby this.
who else was I saying?
I told a few people this.
It's just the ability to do it.
It's kind of a flex.
that doesn't mean you're going to do it.
You're on the goddamn toilet,
Who the fuck are you flexing to?
If you have an audience for that shit,
if you have an audience for that,
you already have more questions that need to be answered
than what we're able to do during this space.
I'm just saying the funniest clip that I've ever seen was somebody
reaching under the stall,
reaching under the stall of the bathroom,
putting down the Nintendo switch and handing the person to the stall next to him.
We'll put some Mario cards.
Oh my God.
A funniest.
That was a flex.
And you can't tell me it's not.
Has a stranger ever hands me a controller
from under a public bathroom stall?
Bro, you're telling me you're speaking from under a bathroom stall right now.
You're telling me you're like,
can I interest you in some sandware?
Can I interest you in some bathroom stall sandware?
It's exclusively made out of the porcelain from toilets.
It's probably where I fucking put my NFRs.
Hey, y'all.
I'm going to jump in because we've been going for about an hour and 45 minutes here.
Going to check in here with Crow,
see where you're at,
and then do some other things.
Yeah, I'm chilling here.
I've got this root,
this branch,
this plant matter growing through the canvas.
I think it's pretty cool,
I think it's pretty cool, actually.
Looks good.
I like it.
I'm wondering,
does it need like a hand,
Kujikiri type thing going on,
or do we just keep it to plant?
What do you mean?
You're using like a special,
like a hand,
a special,
hand form to make this special technology.
Not necessary per se,
That would be really cool,
Right now,
he's kind of just like chilling with this plant.
That's kind of,
that's the vibe,
I feel like.
If you added that.
If you were to do that,
maybe like the two hands kind of just enclosed,
like if you're praying almost,
but fingers down,
if that makes sense.
If we were to do that,
that could work for sure.
I'm also thinking,
I like the vine you have at the left,
how the tallest one on the left side,
on the tip,
what if we gave it like a,
like a little hood of foliage,
the type from like the Lion King,
that are kind of thin and like stretch out long a little bit,
you kind of see a little foliage there on that tip.
Like green,
like a little bush,
if that makes sense.
Like a little miniature
bush that's grown at the end.
like a canopy,
so to speak.
And I like it.
I like how it,
it looks very vascular.
I like that.
Very thick and,
and then has like the,
the veins.
I like that.
I was trying to get some contrast between the thicker,
juicier branches,
and then these like thin sort of like tendril-y root system branch,
like branching thing.
But I do like,
I do like the idea of it being so full,
it's almost kind of like you're in this like miniature jungle.
Like he's lurking.
He's stalking.
I like that.
That's funny.
you think that's good direction to finish it off,
that's fine.
All right.
you have the floor for the next,
however long you want.
anything you want to chat about,
ever anything?
I think we had a good run.
we had a good run.
I should probably have dinner here soon.
Right there with you.
it's a good space.
Good seeing the game.
a lot of legends in here.
A lot of love for all you guys.
Always a good time chilling with you.
Can't wait till the next time we get together.
Absolutely.
Thank you here for coming up,
Appreciate you guys as well.
flew as always crow.
Thank you for doing what you do.
everyone in the audience,
we got Ray David down there.
We got untamed peppers.
We got abdiz and we got Shantos as well as everyone else who joined in,
who was here earlier.
Thank you all for coming.
Abdi's nuts.
D there we go.
thank you,
thank you,
And on that note,
I'm actually going to pass it to,
you want to leak some alpha for all the people who waited,
all the way to the end of this.
Can I talk about the,
the alpha that shall not be named?
you can't talk at all,
You're good.
Can I talk about the alpha he ho should not be named?
All right.
So song's got this really cool.
