So essentially what we're doing is called Loans Tank, bro.
I don't know if you guys have heard of Shark Tank,
but that's kind of the idea that inspired this whole thing.
I'm going to pin up a tweet up top that explains all the rules
so you can read them back if you're you if you want to see what i likes to
read and all that hopefully y'all y'all took them classes but uh either way yo so essentially the
whole idea is like shark tank we want to be able to give away grants to people building dope ass
shit because we've been given the opportunity from a dope ass uh meme coin launchpad platform called flaunch.gg.
And the way flaunch.gg works is that every time anybody buys and sells a coin for us,
loans is our coin.
Then we get a percentage of 1% creator fee, goes to the creators. And we're using a portion of that fee to give out grants in spaces like Loans Tank.

And, you know, if the holders of loans think it's a great idea and they think it's going to push the loans moving forward, they would be, all right, yeah, you get the grant.

reaction where a whole bunch of other people started buying from the website because they
kept seeing the buy notifications come in for loans. So we were like, oh shit, we can run a
grant space where we encourage people to buy loans in the space. And then that sets off that same kind of chain reaction.
And then we can use the dev revs, the money that we get from the revenue that's built to give out the grant or add to the grant.
Our grant right now is starting at $50.
I think that's about like 0.03 or something ETH right now.
But, yeah, that's where we started at.
And, you know, at whatever we get during the space,
we also add to the grant.
So, you know, that grant can get as big as,
you know, whoever knows how.
And every time $500 in volume goes through,
then we allow two more people to pitch.
So that's how it works, yo.

want to pitch whatever you working on but for the judges is it'll be highly beneficial to you if it
also is beneficial to loans if you can integrate somehow how it's beneficial to loans,

because we could use 50 Bones pretty badly these days.
So quick rundown of what's happening today.
Today we have our third, quote-unquote, Giveth Impact Concert.
Now, right now, there's a quadratic funding round, and that is sponsored by ENS and Octon.
Now, I applied for the Impact Concerts to hopefully get into this quadratic funding round,
because you can get, like, quadratic funding round because you can get,
like for each dollar, you can get like $50. Someone gives like five, that could be like a few hundred dollars. Now they rejected my ass because Impact Concerts is just a little project.
It doesn't have like a big tech stack. They brought in people like heavy hitters. I'm trying
to think of some of the big boys, but people that already
have, you know, probably millions in the bag already for funding their stuff, which is fine.
Like they wanted to have some big names attached to the project and that's cool. But having not
been able to be in the round, you know, it was a bummer. I was depressed for like a couple days,
then I got over it and I started organizing the concert. Of course, we're still putting on an impact concert for the people that were accepted into that round.
So we don't have really funding for the impact concerts yet.
And what we do is we have a kind of different novel approach to these funding spaces. Instead of just having, you know, 10 projects talk about, hey, we'd love
to have you donate for, you know, cleaning up the ocean or planting the trees or, you know,
doing the good work out there. We'll take them and then we'll take, you know, the same amount
of musicians from all over the world and have them perform live in between each speaker.
So, you know, we kick it off, we have somebody open up with some music, then we got our first
speaker. Then we have another musician kick some tunes for five, ten minutes, and then we have the
next speaker talk about the project for five, ten minutes. Generally, there is kind of a theme
overall to the concert.
So, you know, you don't have like 100 different subjects, but each project within that general genre does have a lot of variation.
But so it's educational for the people that come.
They learn about different projects in the public good space making social impact.
They have the information
to go give maybe a dollar or five it giveth during these quadratic funding
rounds the more a project receives well not the more financially necessarily the
more people that donate like if you had ten people donate a dollar you could
get a thousand dollars from that quadratic funding.
Whereas if another project has one person donate $500, they might only get like 200 or something
from the quadratic. So it's some crazy math stuff. But in the last concert, we had 10 speakers,
had 10 speakers, five of which were in the top 10 earners on Giveth out of like 120 plus projects.
And overall, not just from the concerts, but from everybody that gave, those 10 projects that came
and spoke received $28,000 between all of them. So we did help make some impact for these projects.

time we, that was the second time we threw a Giveth impact concert with the Verified Giveth
projects. And both times we had 10 speakers, five of those both times got into the top 10 earners.
So this time it was a really short notice. We only had about a week to plan this. So we have five speakers and like six, seven musicians. And then we'll have an after party with extra music and conversation. And then we also offer to do an onboarding course to anybody that comes and like a couple of days later. We work with the people that want to register for that onboarding course, whether that's setting up their wallet, whether that's getting their get coin score up to be able to get verified on Giveth or set up their own project.

nouns. So I have a few projects that I'm going to shout out at the beginning that aren't necessarily

Here we are four or five years later. He has a giveth for them, the ancestral university of
knowledge. They have built like a whole, like he brought tools out them so they could build their
own like little shacks to host people when they come do the ecotourism and learn about it.
He's had people from the tribe come to the city for the first time, record songs in their own language for the first time that we're going to be minting soon.
So we're trying to get sustainable activity for them.
That's how it all started.
Now we pitched, you know, we'll have 10 projects come,
12 musicians come, intermix the speakers with the music. So it's like this cultural exchange
while you're learning and having fun. People donate to the projects, all types of great
projects, doing good work out there. And that's what we do. So it's been just from a place of
passion. We just made a giveth of our own,
an artisan of our own. We've yet to raise funds, but hopefully we'll be raising funds this year
and building the impact projects to be larger, reach more people, raise more funds,
and a sustainable way for these projects out there on the ground doing good.
