If you're not familiar with these spaces, a few times a week, Bonk Intern and I pop up,
and we meet different communities within the Bonk ecosystem.
So on Monday, we talk to Multiplier.
So if you're not familiar with Multiplier, it's going to be a new project or ecosystem coming to Bonk.

So Lock came up and talked, I think think on our first or second space five or six
weeks ago, however long we've been doing this. And I learned quite a bit about BestCoin.
Anyway, so the style of this is kind of more AMA. It's very casual. I'm going to go over a series
of questions. Locke's going to respond with his big brain answers and bad jokes like me.
And then the last 10 minutes or so, we're going to open it up to like open mic.
So we've talked to a lot of great projects so far. There is, I think we're booked out until
November now. So if you want to get in touch on one of these spaces, just reach out to me.
If you're already talking to Credence about it, he'll kind of probably push you up the list on
one of them. But there's so many that we're talking to, lots of great builders and stuff. Even when the market is down and we got flushed out, things are still looking
pretty good. So Locke, I'll turn it over to you to start. And then if Fartless doesn't pop on,
then they don't pop on and we'll just give the mic open to more people to bullshit the whole
rest of the time. But maybe to start out, if you could give us a little background about yourself, how
long you've been in the space, how you joined the space, all that kind of fun stuff.

First of all, thank you for having me, Erro.
I reached out to you and you replied right away.
So thank you very much for being this available to everyone.
Yeah. And I'm here to represent the best coin community.
As we said, the best club.
A little background on me.
I, you know, when I was back in college,
probably was 2017 or something.
I bought my first coins
really like a couple of dollars.
I don't even remember, probably like 100, 200 bucks
worth of Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum something like that I started from there I went through the up and downs started to accumulate more and then
of course you know sold it all we bought it all all the all the kind of stuff
once I graduated I started like another another thing, like my own marketing agency, like a real life marketing agency.
But I was still, I started to be a bit more active in OCT, crypto, starting with YouTube videos, newsletters, stuff like that.
And then I helped found in 2020 the first Italian startup for contemporary digital art, which was, you know, NFTs, but
one-on-one pieces of pieces of art.
It was the first in Italy, probably one of the first ones in Europe.
And it was pretty exciting journey for me.
I started to learn a lot of it from a professional standpoint, all the dynamics, mechanics of it.
And then I just gradually even more fell in love with it all, started to join TGs or
Discord back in the days, talking to other people, meeting a lot of people.
And then once the NFT bubble exploded, the startup got liquidated, and I finally started working on my own.
And then here I am.
So I've been doing this full time for three years now,
by myself, and five years since I started the startup.
That's awesome.
So I've been around since 2016, and I think I joined CT in like 17, 18. I think I came around about most of my sources ofpping everything, especially with the NFT bubble, buying penguins high, selling low, and then they pumped up high again. That's just my motto. So it sounds like you did a lot better than me, but it's definitely, I can't picture a better place to be. It's not as toxic of League of Legends as League of Legends, so I think we're in a good spot.

um so so with best coin lock did you create best coin on bonk or did you cto it or what's the story
with best coin yeah so basically um i launched it so it wasn't a cto it was a launch, fair launch, organic through the slash tech, bond dot fund slash tech, which back in the day guaranteed two things. One was the participation in their hackathon. And the second one was a higher percentage of, how to say that, creator fees, creator fees, fees right so we started that to participate in the
hackathon because um we wanted to do something special uh the bump fun account and related
account kept saying or tweeting stuff like made the best coin win made the best coin win and then
we thought okay let's let's launch the best coin so we came up with this concept, created a community and we wanted
to show that community in a Launchpad environment, in a Launchpad worse environment,
was the best product. So we did that and we managed to win and it was pretty exciting.
So we picked Bulk for that reason. We picked it back because it was it was pretty exciting so we picked bulk for uh for that reason we picked it back
because it was necessary to enter the hackathon and plus you know back in the days just felt like
just felt like good to to launch on bonk um instead of launching um anywhere else um i cto'd
previously bitcoin uh on pump we took it from 500k to 45 million all time high it was a pretty
pretty insane experience but let's say that i wanted to see if on BOMP it would have been possible
to have a more open like a more lighthearted the more inclusive environment to to that to
dev a coin and so that was the reason why we we went with this on bunk so what
is a so a hackathon whenever I think a hackathon I don't really look into it I
just think that people try to hack the I don't know hack the shit I don't know
what it's called hack the shit what so't know, hack the shit. I don't know what it's called, hack the shit.
So for hackathon, is it just anyone that can code or anyone that is a founder, wants to launch things,
can participate or join?
Or how did you get involved in the hackathon to begin with?
And I guess it's not just hacking shit,
it's just any builders or what?
Okay, so usually hackathon,
I mean, there's probably been like millions in the history
of hackathons.
Like I said, I'm kind of retarded.
I'm only 13 years old.
So I don't, that stuff goes way over my head.
Yeah, you started in 2016.
So you were like, eight or seven, makes sense.
Six and a half.
Six and a half makes sense. But no, yeah, hackathons usually are for coders or a team of developers who build a product based on a prompt, maybe.
It could be like to hack some system, but generally it's for, yeah, it's for builders.
But the Bonk one, Bonk and Radium one, because Radium co-sponsored it, was open
to all builders, right?
Because builders in our space can mean a lot of different things.
You know, it's very hard usually to even explain what you do, right?
When a normie or like a normal person in real life asks you what you do, it's very hard,
right? So that was the same reason.
And since Ekathon was open to everybody, not only developing developers or tech teams,
we figured out that, okay, what's the best possible product?
Because I can code.
I got a team of developers as well.
But the whole point of it was, let's just do it with no tech.
So our first thing was like, okay, we're going to win this with no tech,
no product, just community.
Just to show, as I said, that community is the best possible thing
that you can do, you can build.
And we did that.
It was pretty exciting, very uh very tense especially the
last few days because it's a competition the other day but it turned out well so i'm happy i did that
i'm happy that a lot of of people joined us in in this journey and here we are two months later
almost three yeah i think uh so that's actually really i I need to join a hackathon. I didn't know, I guess I'm not a dev or anything like that,
but it's so funny that into that whatever years, like years past,
anyone needed actually like an actual dev or someone that knew how to write a smart contract to launch a token.
And now it's so funny to go into chats and it says, this is the same dev,
like this is the dev and it's just some random kid with a broccoli haircut that is the dev and just knows how to generate some AI images.
But I'm looking at your website.
So it says you received $140,000 in support.
That's huge.
That's sick.
Yeah, that was the price reward for winning the Akashan.

And I'm glad to say that 100% of it
and 100% of creator fees went into our flywheel,
which is basically we buy back supply
and give back to holders, right?
So we have different, let's say, dynamics or scenarios
in which we give back to holders.
One, I could say passive, but it's manual work
because I like to do manual work
because I think it's more rewarding
and doing automatically it's tough to figure some stuff out.
But we give back to good holders,
so holders who kept accumulating,
holders who keep showing up,
holders on the timeline, very loud on the timeline.
We got a weekly stunt, the crown bearer of the week.
They get rewards.
We got a big staking API on Streamflow
and on Wasabi, we have one.
So yeah, we give back 100% of it
and in the full spirit of of community and it's it's
pretty sick and um the thing they said about about that is it's pretty funny um i guess that it
became like a sign of them for uh somebody who knows how to launch a token i mean probably people
use it for uh for everyone who launches a token, but they use to dev properly.
It's tough, right?
So I decided to stick my neck out to really be the face and say, yes, I launched it instead
of faking it like a CTO or staying in the shadows.

Well, so you have a cool website.
It sounds like you're doing some fun things for your community in general.
I know you kind of touched on this briefly, but you had options.
It sounds like you had success when you did CTO a coin to pump to 45,000.
And I actually love that because in several of the group chats I'm in, you hear like
repeat devs. They say, oh, you should buy this because this dev ran this token up to 45 million
or a hundred million before. So it gives people some conviction. And I know literally all tokens
on Bonk took a hit, but I think right now, me personally, I'm positioning myself for Bonk V2 in Q4.
Well, I don't know if it's Q4, but I'm just guesstimating that starting in October, things are going to get better.
So to hear that you have background, you've launched something and went to 45 million in the past, or you CTO'd it, you definitely know how to community build.

and whoever listens to all these spaces,
it's kind of like pick apart, make your own thesis,
kind of identify which projects are actually grinding
even when market kind of gets flushed out and looks like shit.
Bonk kind of looks like shit, but everything looks like shit.
And just kind of realize where the vibes are positive
and people are still there regardless of price action. So where I'm going at with that entire comment slash question lock
is you had options. Why did you pick Bonk specifically? Was it for the
hackathon? You thought you could win and get the prize and then expand on that or
was there reasons beyond that?
Okay, there's a couple reasons. One of it's uh it's to get into the akathar for sure um because
the other day how i see it is that um for example like yeah you just said oh you've been successful
ctoing a coin to uh 45 million yeah it's true but um there was really like no supply control we cto'd it like as a
10 people community five people community that really loved the concept and wanted to cto it
because it went to 30 million the same day that it launched uh i slept on my bag i woke up it was like
sub 1 million and i was very mad because it was amazing right um so i guess it
really depends on um you know like you could say that that brought that coin to uh 30 million or
20 million i guess it's a it's a cool accomplishment about at the end of the day like um it's tough to
do stuff organic organically and um do it all over again for every coin you do um so what what i believe
is that every coin is different you know like it's not i buy that coin because of the dev
what i try to do and what i can say like fully and i'm very glad about it is that if people see
um i either cto launch a coin which is just two know, I don't do it like every day or every week, like those master lawyers, you know, is that they trust me, they can trust me, right? They can call me, they can DM me, they can verify everything on chain. I'm super transparent in everything I do. I ask the community for feedback every day.
And yeah, for Batcoin, the good thing is that I got a good network.
So I could get some listings.
I can get partnerships.
I can get some very good flywoods going.
And moreover, you know, community members that appreciated my efforts with Batcoin,
community members that appreciated my efforts with Batcoin, they all came over to to Bestcoin
because they followed me and they thought it was a cool concept.
So I'm pretty glad about it more than anything that I can.
You know, I could be doxxed.

I don't have nothing to hide and never done anything bad.
And that's the biggest achievement in, in web three for me.
Right.
Uh, cause it's, it's very hard to stay a hundred percent clean.
It means forfeiting a lot of profits, a lot of money, uh, leaving a lot of
money on the ground or in someone else's hands.
But at the end of the day I have strict values and, and that's what, um,
brought me here and, um, will and will guide me through my journey.

you won the hackathon, which I think is really cool.
You launched on Bonk because you think that Bonk would have
the most success for this token.
You were experienced with this before in community building.
You've brought a previous token of about $ million cap on Fawn Pump.
You guys won $140,000, which you may or may not be buying a Range Rover
and sharing it with all holders on Bonk.
That's unconfirmed.
What's next for Best Coin?
I mean, it's hard with meme coins, but it seems like you're really trying to gamify it.
So you mentioned holder rewards and like a daily kind of fun
daily or weekly fun activity
for the crown, etc.
What's next for BestCoin?

why should someone
want to buy BestCoin?
For me, I think it's
because you're betting on Locke
and his experience doing this
before going to 45 million.
And obviously he's doing
this full time.
So he's not launching a new
coin every single week that kind of gives you conviction he may not be part
of the the bunk cabal but having connections in the space for five six
years plus is a good step forward so I guess with like three minutes left I
guess lock why should someone buy best coin and what do you guys have in store
next absolutely so you don't't need to uh put me in
put me in the picture you know when you when you figure if you want to buy best coin or not
um in my opinion and in our community opinion best coin is just um starting from the surface
is just the best ticker right that's why they call me the best dev, not because I'm the best, right? Because the coin is best. So
it's the best community is everything is the best. It's
very, the remixability of the mean is very high. You can put a
crown on every and then on anything, you can stop shield
all day, you can shit it all day. But one of the most
important thing that that we're working on, for example, is SEO. I just quoted this new website, it needs improvement, especially on the SEO side.
I will probably start doing some PSEO because there's 50 million Google searches for best coin best coin to buy uh what's the best coin to buy right now um every cycle
on google um and that you know already in some countries when you look when you when you type it
or relate a keyword you get our pages on coinbase and and binance because we got listed in their
wallets so you know when you look in some countries for best coin to buy you find the best
coin page uh so we want to double down on that uh we ran some pr um we will do it in the future
and one other two other most uh three other things very quickly one is the community went through
went through it all literally uh pvp uh delays fud everything they're still here wearing their crowns and um
we really have like a a family kind of relationship we talk every day in our in our various group
chats because we're they're tiered you know based on your commitment and um and it's just amazing
too uh that are a lot of good holders like a a lot of people, a lot of the best people
in the space are our best coin holders.
And that includes a lot of the Bonk people like Nom, Cadence, Bjorn, for example, Bola
from Lantern.
And it's just amazing to be able to talk to those people every day and they care about the coin.
And it's just amazing to start from there.
And the last thing is we really want to integrate on Bonk, integrate on technologically, financially, improving our flywheel.

market cap our chief strategy officer and after i i launched last year the second mover after
not coin it was a tap to earn game it Pixarverse. And we have bring more than 18 million people behind the game on Telegram, tap to earn.
It was a big narrative on the market, like Star Combat and stuff, maybe people you saw it.

So I have all of these skills and mentality about WebTree and my belief and conviction is to hold
behind the WebT tree with mass adoption,

we believe on the coin we have a very good good ticker because it's like fartcoin if we refuse

So I think it's like a way of time, but my plan is to go back very well.

Investors need to see that.
Investors need to have some trust about some people people because many people have some good PFP but they just hide themselves for many reasons.
But if you want the space change and if you want to go straight on a good way,
to involve more people and to give trust on the trenches,
if you have a very good dev, you're doing a very good coin, don't be ashamed to dox yourself

these spaces and they just kind of ghosted and aren't active anymore. So it's fun to see which communities form after the first 90%
drawdowns. Like looking at the Fartless chart, looking at actually many Bonk community charts,
even some of the top ones, they're correcting pretty hard right now. But I don't think it

the audience is you really want to get yourself in solid communities. It doesn't matter what the
chart's really doing. If it's holding strong, if it's an accumulation zone, if you see the

chart pumps, it's going to go violent. And you're going to be wishing that you were buying when it
was low, when it was slow, because when it rips, the people who are going to be celebrating are

And Fartless is one of those communities.

Dev to coin up to 50 mil. That's not every day you meet someone that's done that. So for kind of like some new people that are kind of new and onboarding, what were the challenges in doing that? How did you go about doing that? Because that seems like a pretty nice accomplishment to put your hat on.
Thank you for your question, man. It's good to see you on stage. He's a big BestCoin holder, so shout out to you, man. But yeah, thank you, thank you. Bringing a coin to 45 million, obviously, and that organic, because it was extremely organic, Bitcoin. Since we CTOed that it was pretty high, it was it was very hard you know to do anything else but
we wanted to keep the spirit but the reality is that first of all the idea the concept of
the token must be must be a great one right not a lot of tokens run that hard so it's very it's
very tricky you know to find the right combination I'm glad I wasn't the one to create it.
So, you know, I found it and so somebody else found the lore and it was just just too good to be true.
And then you got to you got to go through the to the up and downs.
A lot of weeks of accumulation to be able for real community members to really stick in.
We built a we built a nice home in a TEG and on Twitter,
we found the right tone of voice, me and some other amazing people. And then, you know, at the
right moment, you know, the right person notices you and likes the token and buys a new chunk,
DMs you, asks you, you know, what are you doing?
What are the plans?
You know, I love it, blah, blah.
And so we had pretty good runs.
Like, we managed to bring it up to 30 million two times and then to 45 for the last run.
And in every run, in every wave, you know, you got some tourists, of course, but also, like like a group of very influential whales and people that help you make connections and help you, how to say that, give you a lot of opportunities to pitch the coin to other, you know, very smart investors, smart money that know how to buy, how to sell, what's needed to make a coin run.
So we did just that and it was it was pretty pretty amazing experience so so on the technical side you
had to get like marker makers you had to get like listings you had to know people to get listings or
they just saw the coin because you were back working or how like that aspect in particular
okay i'll be i'll be very brief because i believe uh there's
only like seven minutes left but uh yes market making is part of it uh is a is a very important
part of every coin um especially when you get volume um so for example on best coin having the
two percent fee on the main pool uh it's uh to bring like a a good market maker at these levels with this with this
volume is pretty tough so you you can onboard some we tried some but it gets very expensive very
quickly and then um you know once once he catches volume again we'll plug it we'll plug it back in
but yeah market maker for listings um you get two two things right? On huge volume, some exchanges just list you for free.
I would say tier three and then, you know, famously like a tier one, like max, tier two, whatever.
But then, yes, you need to have connections to list your token.
Have, you know, been able to provide liquidity.
So, you know, you got to pull the whales together
and and ask for for a bit of supply from each whale and um and you go from there so yeah
bitcoin is listed on l bank for example htx um i don't remember now but like some some some very
good uh tier two we never got to tier one because you know it gets a lot of work and a lot of time and a lot of different things that we never got to it.

I think that we're at the beginning and infancy stages of USD1 pairs. And we haven't seen the beginning of it, especially as a lot of marketing dollars are going to go into that and then reinvest it into not only with Bunk Fund, but just the rest of the ecosystem to support those new pairs. One of them that I'm excited about is called USD1.
It's Unicorn Sheepdog 1, and it just launched today.
