So, yeah, we've been building out Lurkey since October of 24, actually. We pivoted from our previous product. We were a Cosmos-based social-fi network, and Cosmos ended up dying for multiple reasons, and so we pivoted into Lurkey. But Lurkey is a real-time insights platform for audio.
Right now we do X spaces, but the plans are to do video, YouTube, TikTok, anything with an audio layer that we can process.
What we basically do is we transcribe the audio content and then we extract all of the actionable data.
And then the interesting part is we back everything by blockchain
apis so if you're talking about a token whether it be good or bad we can process that and uh you
know this can give vital intel um for not just the consumers but uh projects themselves but we
basically monitor token sentiment project mentions like speaker networks, inner circles, and trending topics in the ecosystem.
And ultimately, this gives founders, listeners, traders the intelligence to really discover and track opportunities.
And it's purely a data-driven ecosystem.
Unfortunately, X has done a very, very horrible job on monetizing spaces and improving spaces.
And ultimately, we took on the task to help improve a vital communication line that I think has been forgotten or just lacking.
But yeah, our main vision is really to become the intelligence layer
for crypto-native conversations.
And, you know, we want to transform this raw community chatter
into structure and searchable insights.
Something that you said, Grateful, was like, you know,
repurposing information.
And that was one of the biggest things that we tried working on is
once space ends, the data kind of just stops. There's somebody has to go and listen
to a two hour recording when they maybe only want to listen to a segment of it. And so what we try
to do is break it down for people so they can get a TLDR and, you know, less than a couple minutes,
and then they can pinpoint a specific topic that they may be
interested in, right?
So I'll leave it there first, I can go deeper.

Yeah, it's definitely open we started doing like an alpha phase in
May of last year that was kind of a closed kind of beta thing and then we opened it up
So anybody can come and use the platform
the only thing that they can't really use is some of the metrics and more, like, data-driven stuff.
You have to hold Lurkey, kind of like a gatekeeping kind of thing.
So if you hold X amount of Lurkey, then you can get some extra, you know, analytics.
But for the average consumer, you can totally use it right now and navigate.
So, yeah, I mean, there's a lot of different products that we've been building.
Um, one of them is like, you know, where we first started is like discoverability.
Uh, we found it was very poor to search for live spaces.
Like you either have to be in some, some DM group or you have to just randomly scroll
on it on your feed.
Sometimes it'll pop up and show you spaces that are live, but other times it doesn't,
and then it doesn't give you the full picture.
So on our platform, there's an area called Live, and you can actually see all of the concurrent spaces right now, and you can hop into them if you want to maybe talk to those
people or whatever you
may be doing and the ironic thing is we actually aggregate more spaces than x does itself so on any
given time there's usually about between 100 i mean between 50 and like 150 different live spaces
involving crypto now our platform is optimized for crypto, but on the back end,
we actually can process, you know, stuff about politics or medicine or things that are not
crypto related, right? So it's, you know, very versatile. It's not just like a specific niche,
specific niche we can actually open it up and we plan on doing that in the future i think the the
we can actually open it up. And we plan on doing that in the future.
main problem with x in general is and especially compared to youtube like if you create a video on
youtube like you can search for it forever right but if you you know they are pushing articles
right now or if you're talking about spaces and you want to you want to find some article it's
it doesn't work like youtube right and also youtube is is paying
uh the most money to creators so i think they have a i i think the problem you solving is 100
right because the discoverability of spaces is uh not easy and basically we've been running this in
the same time slot for like four years now and it's probably the the best thing that you can do
so people actually know that there is a grateful show. People know that there's other games, you know, and
and people know that there are Gs on stage right now.

We're in an area where data is gold and like there's a huge missing piece of the puzzle here. So it starts off by just doing basic
analytics. We have an LLM there. So we built our own LLM off of Gemini. And basically what
you can do is you can ask a specific questions, even like, you know, what is Grateful Ape talking
about today? Or what is he bullish on? Or, you know, things about certain spaces, you
can ask it questions directly there, and it'll go source all of the data, since it can go

because there's a lot of data in your platform
and I'm really curious, how can we use it?

How can we get better with our spaces?

or you know how that works?

there's a shit ton of information here. And so I think what, as a,
as a spaces host, how can you benefit from this? There's multiple different ways so we have this you know page called curated shows and basically what it does is for what first
it's for discoverability so people can come and find reoccurring shows that happen weekly and
typically they're like you know higher end shows they're not just like random people jumping on a space so something like you know grateful show um is you know the prime prime
prime kind of show to be introduced when you come here uh it basically gives you like analytics
on on the shows which x does a very poor job on so you can kind of find out you know what
speakers are there you know what the intel was, how many listeners. And then one of the cool parts is we actually have clipping. So instead
of you having to go and manually do it, we actually built the LLM to auto clip. And so you can,
with the curated shows, it's automatic, but anybody can go ahead and do it themselves.

But for these shows, it'll appear right after the report is ended.
And it's anywhere from like 10 to 20 different clips that the AI thinks that is, you know, high-level information that wants to be shared or funny.

It'll show you what speakers are speaking at this time
and then the transcripts around it
so you can identify and source the right information really quickly.
Because if you talk for two hours,
you're going to be like,

So that's one of the best things, I think, for kind of hosts.
We are building out a B2B marketplace for it.
So what does that look like?
A company is looking for to join a show.
Right. But the thing is, a lot of these companies have nothing to go off of.
They just have the trust me, bro.
me, bro. And so this is really meant to protect both sides of the equation. One, it's to back up

hosts showing, hey, you know, I've had X amount of these large speakers on my space. Here's all
their data. And so you can't really fake that. And then on a company side, they are looking for
like just transparency. And there's been no data around this before. So a company can come and book you.
So say like, I want to get on Grateful Show. Well, there's going to be a button there soon
that we can book it, and then you can kind of go through the parameters. And then the goal is to
help monetize hosts. So that's one way of helping monetize them. Another way, which I think I need
to kind of talk a little bit more about is royalties. And this is really unique which I think I need to kind of talk a little bit more about, is royalties.
And this is really unique.
I think no one really else has done this.
So we want speakers to focus on their content, right?
The more that they're speaking and creating data, the more that we can actually organize it and make it more efficient.
And they don't have to spend time.
So when a company uses our APIs or somebody pings our APIs with X402 or ACP or directly
through our APIs, if that person's content was used, then we give money to that speaker. So we're giving data attribution
back to the creator that created the content. And so you can think of it kind of like as
a song playing on the radio, and the musician gets reoccurring revenue over time, depending on how
much that song is played. So the same thing can
happen here. So say you have a really good take, or it's really valuable information,
and somebody pings it or a company uses it to, you know, discover things, you can actually earn
money over time for something that you did last week. And I think that's pretty novel,
because we haven't, I think, you know, with crypto, what got me in love with it
was the act of, you know, giving to the community, giving, you know, ownership to the actual person
providing it. And I think we kind of gone away from that. And so we introduced that to try and
bring back like those old school vibes where, you know, we're not just collecting all the money,
like we want the speakers that are creating this data to also do well,
because if they do well, we do well.
So that's kind of like the main two B2B side of things.
And then we also have a B2C side where it's kind of like,
I don't want to say the word InfoFi,
but the campaigns are somewhat structured in the sense
where a company will put up a reward and then people can actually talk about their products.
Now, we don't rely on metrics like X and all these other InfoFi platforms do.
We rely just purely on the data that's being processed and created.
So a little bit different.
And those are the three avenues that a speaker can actually monetize
via lurkey man what i really like is if you go to the site and check the latest clips like that's
really cool to know what's happening in the space and the first clip i saw and that's really funny
because we've been talking about this for ages. It's Captain talking about,
it's also not time to go mass marketing with the other side.
It's so good to see such a, it's so on point.
I love that it's, that is a clip there because he explains why other side isn't a quick cash grab
and it's a multi-year development
and the need for patience in Web3.

We've been talking a lot about it,
that we need more use cases
and more things to do in the other side
before there will be marketing push.
So it's funny that it's one of the first clips I saw there.

off by, you know, finding funny things out because there's a lot of degeneracy that happens in spaces

So it's cool because it's really, it's really, like, you know, relevant and we, you know, you can see all your friends and you can kind of poke at them if you see something ridiculous.
Or we're actually going to be introducing soon here kind of like a social predicting based off of spaces.

but you'll actually be able to kind of bet socially on different speakers or
shows and you can kind of go against another show.
So kind of like a battle type of thing.
So yeah, we'll be introducing that.
And there's some really cool things that we've been, you know,
working on not just from the data side, but just like more like a consumer side as well.
It might also be really cool for the projects because it's very hard to track spaces, right?
Like you can download those spaces and I don't know what would you do with that. But for example,
you want to see Vy vibes from BAYC.
So you can search for BAYC and see what people are talking about
in their spaces or about other projects, about other sites.
And you can immediately see what's the vibe.
Is it good? Is it bad?
So I think this is really useful.
I'm just checking the alpha report there.
It wants some kind of credit.
So if I want to clip my space,
if I want to interact with the platform,
like what are credits
and what's lurky currency there actually?
Yeah, so we do have a credit-based system
and this is just primarily to make it more seamless on platform.
Like if you had to do a bunch of transactions on it to do things, it just kind of slows down the process.
So we kind of like fast charge that by, you know, just purchasing one at a time.
And then you're able to use the platform, you know, pretty much permissionlessly.
So you can use you can top up credits based on like, you know, USDC, USDT, and, you know,
some other currencies if you choose. What we do with the money is a portion of it goes into the
treasury, a portion of it goes to buy back the token, and then we also have like a burning
mechanism with like when people actually use the APIs as well.
It's cool that you brought up the alpha reports because I actually think that's a really
underused part of our platform, which I think has a lot more higher intel.
So basically what we do is you can go and search up a specific category.
So like maybe somebody just focuses on like ICOs or launches, they can go and do this
every day and see about what's the main topics people were talking about and trying, you know,
get alpha on these upcoming launches or whatever niche that you want. And then there's also
keywords. So you could go in there and, you know, you could type in other side or BAYC or, you know, Amazon even.
And then you could see all of the different speakers that had, you know, interacted with this conversation.
It wouldn't just be one space.
It could be all shows.
And so we try and compile all of the data for that.
And then we give the positives and negatives because, well, you know, you be uh bullish on a project but still bearish
on it right no no project is really bulletproof there's always ways to improve um and so this is
like kind of a quick way to see you know what the fud is or what the positive um you know kind of
sentiment is on these projects at a fast pace.
Yeah, I think it's important also for brands to monitor the sentiment. All the major
brands are doing it, right? So this is great.

If people want to clip our spaces,
how they can do it?
You see a lot of MFers here in the audience
and they say, hey, I heard something interesting here.
I want to clip it and I want to share it.
What's the way how to do that?
So every space that's live, we have kind of like a holding page for them,
and that is because we registered to run the report.
We can't run a report until the space has ended
because we don't have the full intel of data to create a report.
Now, once the report is done,
which usually takes about five to 10 minutes
after the space has ended, you're able to read through all the transcripts, data, and then you'd
be able to clip. Once we get you listed onto the curated shows area, it'll actually happen
automatically. So you'll have 10 to 20 clips of every space moving forward now if you
don't like one of those clips or it's missing maybe a piece that you wanted you can actually
manually do it and it's under the clipping tab so for example we'll click into our space and then
it'll show you all of the speakers and then right at the very bottom it'll it'll shit it'll say
clipping beta and then you can go ahead and just pinpoint the exact conversation that you want to
clip and then it takes honestly really quickly it's like less than a minute to
to create your video and then you can go ahead and share it to yours to your
timeline that's also man yeah I clipping I think it's great and I really love
that there's a coffee with Captain Other Side meta
and Amazon on Coffee with Captain, and you can immediately see the clips and stuff that
that they were talking about, which is really cool.

you know as of recently it's been a lot of like you know info fi kind of stuff and then kind of
like failures and the ICOs recently and then just kind kind of like shady stuff is what I've been noticing
on platform.
But yeah, soon we'll have that up where you can actually see exactly different topics
and like, are they trending?
Right now, there's like a coin area.
So you can see like, what's the mentions for coins and tokens.
And then it actually gives you like all of the bearish and bullish comments.
And so we want to do that, but specifically for categories since we already have that data.

Yeah, I think as a new user, obviously signing up,
what this does as a speaker specifically, it gives us the authorization from your account on Twitter.
And basically this helps our platform recognize exactly when you're live.
If you don't do this, we scrape it, but it's a lot more efficient if you actually sign up because now we have a registry point of contact.
So that would be my first thing.
And then also, I think anybody can really use this outside of Lurkey.
We have an automated agent called Lurkey Reverb, and you can actually tag it on your space.
So if you go in the comments right here and tag it, you can ask it any questions right from Twitter. It'll give you a summary of the space, who said what, when and
where. So that's like kind of like a really quick way of using it. But yeah, I think immediately I
would say jump in and try and see what live spaces are there because I think a lot of people are kind of in their closed off
niche. And I think the idea here is to expand and go to places where you haven't really been seen
before. And this can get your distribution out more. And then if they like you, maybe they join
your spaces or, you know, you know, now you have a new friend in a different ecosystem. So that is
one thing that I think you should try and start off
with, right, as soon as you get the platform. Another one I would try and look at is definitely
going to the curated shows, because you can see more of the high level content being created,
rather than like a lot of spaces are just kind of like low quality, just kind of like a hangout
area, whereas that area is meant for like the
top dogs

it's really cool to see all the data and and that you that you can see all the
speakers and stuff because I've been doing that manually I've been writing
all the speakers down after every show and it's it's crazy.

transcripts as well. But as, as of right now, you can't download the actual recordings.

So what do you think is the best way to utilize your tools
to grow the space or grow spaces and share the content?
Maybe outside of your circle, right?
What would you recommend us or what's your experience from what you've seen already?
Yeah, my favorite area is the mind map. So every report has a mind map. And this is an interactive
kind of like dap that you can click into certain topics and pinpoint exactly what you
said. So as a, you know, speaker or a host, like I know what goes into it. You have to go, you know,
before space, you have to organize it. During the space, you have to monitor it and actually talk.
So just from that alone, you're, you know, you're spending like two to three to four hours on that part. And then afterwards, after the space ends, okay, great, you just create all
this great content. Now you have to go and repurpose it, which usually takes another couple
hours. And so every space ends up being like, you know, three to six hours worth of, you know,
work for the host. And so the idea is to really cut down that time from you know after the space
ends to actually getting content so if i was a spaces host i would use lurky immediately
by trying to identify

and then just scaling that up as much as we can

and and like actually improve in their scores and and in the situation and like even the ogs and
this is funny to me the best players in the game the best players in the other side from dono ponds
ganko mx dead polaroids um tolerable all of the ogs right it's their favorite event like straight up the chaos trials
is their favorite event because not only do they they get that togetherness with the community but
they get 50 people trying to challenge at one time and competing against each other and stuff like
that and like that's the heart of competition the best players in the game already love as well
so like we found that their stickiness and like it and it's become a few of the people's favorite events.
But there's nothing that really outmatches Saturday too
when you get to go run around
with 200 to 300 of your close friends
or people in the community.
And these are active, attractive individuals
who are not only out here on the timeline
and stuff like that,
but they're present in the other side as well.
