Good morning, good morning, good morning, everybody. Happy Friday. Another week has gone by,
another time to get together with our friends. We got a lot of friends coming through the space right now.
I think quite a jam-packed spaces with how much we've got going on and how much we're going to be talking about with OXQ.
We got PeePee Man coming in.
We got Boris joining us later again.
We got NGB and Loss joining us later to talk about APEC.
I think we have some people from the current AIP proposals coming in to talk about that.
Fridays are going to start to be a jam-packed environment for our community where we all get together, we hang out, we talk, but we also find out what's important, what's going on.
You know, besides just shooting the shit, which is still really important, a fun part of what we do here.
It is also important to be informed with all this other stuff.
Bear with me. I got to get some of these people on stage. Go ahead and share out the room. Let everybody know it's time to meet at the clubhouse.
Let me get Boris up here. Let's get some of the homies. If you guys are out there want to come up and want to offer some questions, two OX quit, two Pee, man, two lost or NGB.
I just want to talk about whatever along the way, you're absolutely, absolutely welcome to.
Angela, I see you're requesting up.
We will bring you up at 1145 when we're talking about the AIP,
as I know you are the translator for one of our guests.
So I just want to put that out there.
We've got two legends on the stage right now as we're waiting for some others to come up.
But let's start off with saying GM to PeeP Man.
Happy birthday, Pee, Pee, man.
Doing well, dude. I've got 7% battery. I'm trying to find my charger. I'll make it, though. I'll make it.
I believe in you, dog. If you need to bounce and plug in, you know, you got a second or two. But I live on that dangerous red line all the time on my phone as well. So I feel that. I feel that completely.
Boris was good. Happy Friday. How you doing, homie?
What's up? I have a 69% battery on mine. You just got to do better, PeeP. Just got to do better.
Doing well, man. Crypto's up. Excited for this talk. Excited for Ape chain. And, you know, we're in the best fucking place in the world.
Best club in the world. Just hype.
You guys heard it here first. Just hype. No, it's all about culture, man, to be honest with you. And our culture is just always expanding and getting better and...
Creating more cool shit for us to play with.
I'm trying to invite OXQut up here so he can talk about some of the cool shit that they're building.
I didn't even recognize Illa because he's got a taproot wizard on.
That's a nice one there, dude.
Let me get him the co-host spot.
it's all happening so fast guys this is the part of live production that you absolutely got
to love and half of the fun of why we do this uh illa was good happy friday bro what's up with the pfp
happy friday oh you know i'm a i'm a big um supporter of of all things on bitcoin um came into the game
through Bitcoin and just love the real builders over there on Bitcoin.
So Udi is finally dropping Taproot Wizards.
I was blessed with the honorary Taproot Wizard last year.
I was blessed with the honorary Taproot Wizard.
So in honor of the homie actually coming to market with this amazing project,
put through on the honorary to rocket for two weeks.
as a show of, uh, of appreciation for being considered as one of the honoraries.
Our, our, uh, own celeb founder, Gordon also has an honorary.
So I'm in a class of elite, legendary apes who have honorary, uh, Bitcoin digital assets.
So yeah, man, rocking the taproot wizard.
You know, as you see mine is a brother.
Mine has the, the deal with the glasses.
and the champagne bottle because I'm a, you know, he feels like, you know, that's what music vets like
myself do is pop champagne. But I drink Tennessee, but we'll take it. But what's going on? Happy Friday.
I got, you know, my weekly Friday Bitcoin buy-in earlier today.
So shout out to Bitcoin for what it is for bringing so many of us into the game.
We got another absolute legend up here.
Always a pleasure to see his PFP appear.
Dude, he just messaged me.
He said that he can't hear when he's on stage.
So we can talk about about him.
You got to drop and come back.
It's the magic of Elon's app that we got to deal with.
In the meantime, we got Don Diablo up here.
Just after 7 p.m. here in Sweden.
It's not snowing, which is news, which is good.
It looks like we might actually get some spring soon.
And I've just been, yeah, just working hard IRL and working hard in the eight chain minds.
And yeah, just looking forward to the conversation.
Dude, appreciate you coming up.
We're going to say what's up to everyone else later on,
but we're going to ask everyone to share out the spaces one more time.
Let the homies know we're hanging out.
We got a ton of special guests kind of lined up for today
because we've just got a lot of stuff cooking here at Yuga and board API Club.
Kind of one of the reasons why we are the best club out there on the internet in the world.
P.B. Man, I'm going to throw it to you because I know Quit,
just Bounce, going to try to come back on.
I know you wanted to come up and talk about some of the stuff you're cooking up,
but I'm not entirely too sure what it is because it's been so, you know, secretive.
And I'm not sure what you want to share or are willing to share with us today.
So as always, we're prying for alpha.
Anything you want to drop on us, we're always happy to hear about.
But we'd love to just hear what you've been working on lately.
Yeah, I can't talk about the secret stuff because then I'll get killed.
But let me share, like, other stuff that we've been working on that is more shareable.
And I think it's pretty exciting.
So, um, so you got the way that we're thinking about A-chain is we're one of the biggest contributors.
We've been working on the easiest way to onboard anyone, whether you're at Web3 Native or someone that has no clue what crypto is.
We've been working for a way for them to get onboarded to A-Chain.
Just a little bit of context.
We've been working separately with the foundation to add exchanges like Gate I.O. or Mexie or other exchanges to...
basically allow users to deposit and withdraw ab coin from ape chain so as a user who uses one of these exchanges you can now own ape coin on their exchange that just try or withdraw directly to your ab chain wallet which is pretty cool but the reality is that you still need to have some degree of
Crypto knowledge there for you to do that.
And if you take a look of the things that are being built on ApeChain,
things like the Wanga guys, the meme coin Wong,
they've been doing really cool tech talk style videos
in which they go out to like complete strangers, complete normies,
and ask them questions about crypto.
And sure, like these guys who appear in the videos are crypto-curious.
Usually they have a few good answers,
but the reality is that they have no idea what,
A bridge, for example, means.
And this thing that we've been working on aims to solve that.
Basically, how can you share apps on ApeChain?
And for the end user, whether it's like somebody, like a friend or brother, sister, or whatever,
for that user to be able to use the app without having to know what a meta mask or a phantom or whatever wallet is.
A little bit of additional context of the way that we thought about it.
At first, we were going to build this whole, it's called a portal,
this whole navigation system for this onboarding system.
But the reality is that we were like, wait,
People shouldn't care about the onboard.
That should be like an afterthought.
It should be so easy that you go in there with one click, you sign up via Twitter, via whatever it is, like Google, Apple ID.
And you basically put in your face for like your Apple ID and you're...
playing with whatever app you wanted to try out.
In other words, you get onboarded with this onboarding system being so smooth that it's an afterthought.
What you as a user should care is about the app itself.
You want to enjoy the app.
We shouldn't, like, this product should not take the, like should not outshine the app.
It's so minimal that it's like the easiest onboarding system.
so that the users can actually use the app.
So I think that, by the way, this is coming out in the next few weeks.
We'll share with everyone.
But the reason that I wanted to talk about this is
The team led by Onward, I'm going to be in the audience, but we're looking for launch partners.
And launch partners basically means day one applications that have this onboarding system integrated on day one.
I think the key benefit is not only like where we highlight the platforms, the apps, but it's going to be very easy for anyone to jump into your app and just start using it.
Yeah, I don't know if you have any questions or want me to expand anything on there.
I think it's a little bit difficult to ask to expand when I know that we're already getting lucky to get what we get.
So it's always tough to kind of like ask for more because I think that was very, very interesting that we've got so much kicking up.
That's one of the things that's available.
Quit. Do you want to tap on that, maybe expand on that in any way?
We can't hear you quit, by the way.
By the way, fun fact, while Quit gets his mic situation,
we had a carting event like Go-Carts, but they go really fast.
It's like 60 miles per hour or something like that.
And I beat Quit in the race.
The crazy thing is that Quit could probably build his own Twitter,
and he can't get the sound right on Elon's Twitter.
That is just diabolical, bro.
That's literally diabolical.
Quit, you're going to have to drop down and come back up, man.
But let's just grill peepie until quit gets situated.
Peepie, how it sounds to me like, you know, because this is like your wheelhouse.
For me especially, I can't speak for everybody.
But you and Quit operate on a different level when it comes to coding.
And it comes to how you look at platforms.
And you guys are like real builders.
Sounds to me like you guys are hiding the wires, right?
So how important is it for you to, for moving forward?
Is it for teams to hide the wires and make things and simplify things for people who are crypto curious or crypto-native?
I think it really depends on what you're building.
The way that I like to think about it is, you know,
You could always drive an automatic transmission car, and it'll be way smoother, and it's what most people prefer.
But there's actually a segment that love, like, manual or standard cars.
And it's okay, too. It has its own market.
So when you build an app, you've got to really think of who are the people that are the people that are going to be showing up using the app, giving you that feedback so that you can further grow your app.
Like, who is your target audience?
The reality is that a very small, or if we think about those people that care for, like, you know, using Metamask and using the bridge and using that manual transmission, it's a limited amount of people.
It's all of us on crypto Twitter.
But if you really want that growth, that being able to, like, be on board a bunch of people, you're going to have to, like, drive the automatic, right?
And this helps, or the automatic car.
And this tool that we're building, that we'll push out, helps get you closer to that automatic car.
Great way to explain it. Because as somebody, it's like the Porsche community, man.
In the Porsche community, there's people who will pay that premium just for a manual transmission.
I'm on the other side. I'm like, man, just give me the PDK and some paddles and I'll use the paddle.
But there's people, I learned to drive. I learned to drive on a manual. And, you know, the people must forget how annoying that is when you're sitting in traffic.
But, but yeah, that's, that's great to know, man, because as we, as we always talk about, we want to onboard the next million people on board, on board, on board.
But people don't understand, like,
how many um how many clicks it takes in the onboarding process and somebody was telling me like you
lose like 70% of your conversion with every click and that's a nightmare so i don't know if that
number's right but i think uh my guy novin says that all the time so it's great that that we have people
especially people with 8 PFPs in our community thinking about that and actually building the tools to actually simplify that process.
If anyone else has any questions, we got quit back up here.
If anyone else has any questions, feel free to jump in.
All right, I went from laptop over the phone, back to the laptop, now the laptop's working.
So we'll stick with this.
So what I was trying to say earlier is, number one, Pee-Pman did not beat me in go-karting,
but he did manage to make sure I lost.
Number two, in terms of AVE Chain and how we're building out Ape Chain, I think one of the things that we really want to do is just empower all of the builders that have always existed in the community and not just the ape community.
Like everyone knows we've got the best community in the game, and that's why Ape Chain was off to such a fast start.
But we've seen a lot of projects launched that are not...
by apes, that are not by mutants, that are not by people that were a part of our community before
ape chain. We've kind of...
created a whole new community of people that all had ideas that all wanted to build something but had nowhere to put it.
At least that's the feeling I get because I've seen so much creation and so much just like
innovation on AVE chain in the past two, three months that like all of that had to have been basically pent up creativity looking for a place to express itself and I think that we created that place.
I'll just piggyback on that because that was one of the things we talked about early on when we were in the ape chain trenches with a lot of the homies.
And we talked about ab chain being the place for creativity, not only as artists coming and experimenting, but like coders and whatever you wanted to do, there was just this desire to collectively be creative, but also to support your friends to be creative as well.
So it's awesome to see stuff.
like you guys are constantly building for us, but also seeing what people are building on their own to take it so much further, you know, seeing all the people who have worked on gobs stuff and then created their own evolutions of that and how that now falls into their projects and how NFT shadows we have pinned up above is something that is starting to become something that we all need to be aware of because Omni Chain really sounds like the future and
Unless you listen to quit and you listen to peepy man and you listen to these talks about what the fuck that even means to many of us
That's a phrase that never really registered as something we'd be paying attention to because we were either
ETH Maxis or ape chain maxis or whatever
So it's a fun new time when there's so much stuff collectively
I want to say being gifted to us
But just you know creativity being unlocked by so many people simultaneously is a very fun thing to see and
Yeah, I mean, it's also a testament to how things start to unfold when you have like actual D-gens on your team.
You know, like, that's what that's, it's really important to have crypto native individuals on your team because they understand the space.
And you're not going to be successful unless you're solving problems that that actually exists in the space.
And I feel like I always give flowers to a lot of the builders on on, on ape chain, especially on and on, you know, definitely on our team because.
We just constantly try to solve a problem.
And it's just not for our community in our ecosystem.
It's usually for the space.
Like I said before, if anyone else has questions, we got a lot of people up here, a lot of smart individuals, man.
Y'all feel free to jump in and ask quit, ask Peepie any questions you want.
It's a great Friday, incredible week.
And I just wanted to pitch in as well on what you guys were saying on how Ape Chain has impulse creativity.
I think it's not just being the tech stack, which is incredible and like the easeness, right?
And the low fees and everything that comes with Ape Chain and the native yield.
But I think it's also the community focus, right?
It's a there's like confidence that you can really rely on a community that's strong and is cross project.
cross community right uh in eith at least me as a user i wasn't a founder and eke uh i felt like
you know it's more isolated communities and we had projects like 10 ktf working a lot on that
cross community you know and bring communities together and ape chain has become the platform
for that now right and if you're really looking for an organic community and for real support um
and cross-community collaboration as a project yourself,
it's like the perfect place to be.
Yesterday we're talking in the space in the Grateful Space
on how it's the first chain ever to actually launch
And everyone in the REL event at Lisbon was super excited.
And as soon as we were all super tired and we got home or Airbnbs or whatever,
and we all started playing around, you know, with APE Express,
with everything that was available in APEC chain.
And what you're talking about about, you know, mass onboarding,
that's part of the mission, I think, of every creator that is on ApeChain
with a common goal to make AfeChane great, right?
So, yeah, man, just super excited for this conversation.
Great to be here with all you.
My brother, let's get to NFT. Drew.
I'm so glad y'all are bringing this up because I literally was just trying to onboard someone the other day and
You know, so far, I think, you know, Coinbase wallet has been the easiest for me to take someone who knows absolutely nothing about Web3 and just get, you know, a wallet made.
So, you know, I'm curious to hear y'all's explanation of what you can share.
I mean, you know, like how many steps does someone actually have to take to go from cash in the bank to cash in the wallet?
Because everything and where we're heading is it has to be as easy as Apple Pay, right?
I clicked the side of my phone.
I'll take that one. What's up, Drew? Nice to see you here.
So you're asking how simple it is, is it to actually onboard?
Let's assume you start from zero. There's no, you have no wallet.
In fact, you don't even know what a wallet is.
Like, seed phrase to you means nothing. It means a tree, probably.
You would have to go into any app, any AP. That's how you start.
You click on the specific onboarding tool.
And with one click, you could sign up or sign in if you've already signed up.
But one click sign up with your Twitter, Apple ID, or Gmail.
So it's as simple as one click.
Most Web3 apps require funding, right?
You need money in there to actually do something.
So within 60 seconds using your face, like Apple ID, if you're using,
Apple Pay, sorry, if you're using a phone or your debit card.
you can onboard, you can on-ramp.
And we're working specifically with a provider
in which you can on-ramp up to $500 using your debit card
So if you go through like the typical crypto-on-bord,
unwrapping flow, you've got to take out your social security number,
your name, your address, your, sometimes they even ask you for like documents.
So they're like, send us a picture of your passport.
Sure, if you're onboarding, unwrapping big amounts,
But it shouldn't, you shouldn't be burdened as a user if you're depositing any low amount,
So end to end, let's call it 75 seconds from where you click on the app to where you have funds on Ape chain.
making a video recording someone's grandma going through this flow so we can say that it's as easy
as anything and your grandma can do it and please let curtis be right behind her showing her where to go
it'd be the best marketing video dude i love that i love it i think that's something that p p p p's mentioned
like it's like it's like you said something like that before right yeah i got in trouble for it so
Never mind, Peev didn't say that.
Peevee didn't, we're not trying to get bonked.
We're not trying to get bonged.
Pee, what else are you excited about, man?
Like, I know this is always the question for you and quit when you guys.
And thank you for taking, if you all don't know, Pee Pee Pee and quitted two of the busiest people inside of the building, man.
Like, is there anything else that you were excited about any little hints of things or anything you want to like, you know, like, if you see people clapping in the crowd.
Yeah, I'll show like what I'm excited.
There's not going to be any alpha, just so that expectations are managed.
But actually, before I share what I'm excited, Web3Gast3, you were talking about how Abe Chin was launched during Abefest.
I've done... I think that...
Yuga has probably had the most share of like fun things that I've worked on ever like it's super exciting to work on
Anything at you that specifically like the launch of ape chain with the foundation on ape fest was probably like the most exciting shit I've ever done
Just because like sure you know you're confident about the tech you're confident about the team that's the but it's it's it's all about like that moment like that climate climate climate climate
Can I share a question, Ila? You asked about what I'm excited for.
I think the biggest thing that I'm excited for is the tools that are coming on ApeChain, whether it's things that we're building or third-party tools and whether they're existing projects that are going to be deploying on ApeChain soon or new projects that are deploying on Ape Chain.
that we know of that are going to be helping creators on A-Chain.
And it's not only about those founders, I mean, sure,
founders of NFT projects are extremely important,
and that's where we should consider our efforts.
But it's also about supporting the people who contribute to these communities.
Like, you know, like Geist, for example,
who does the spaces or all the community builders.
So, yeah, those tools that are coming up, I'm excited about.
Love that, love that, man.
I always try to tell people, like, if you are grinding every day in the community,
you best believe somebody on the team has taken notice and somebody on the team has ran
that up the ladder to leadership.
And we always try to like make sure that we're offering solutions or we're throwing
some gasoline on the fire that you've already been building.
So, you know, see, you wouldn't think that Peabee Man knows who's throwing them having them daily spaces, but you better best believe he does.
No, that speaks to the D-Gen in the culture, man, because you know for a fact that he does.
And I see him in it a lot with us all being in there collectively.
Shout out to the Spanish spaces that kicked off the other day.
That was sick to see a bunch of apes getting together.
And, you know, realizing that there's all these different cultures right here amongst us,
just, you know, finding their new roots to celebrate what we're all collectively into together.
that was super sick peepi man are you guys going to be doing another spanish bases anytime soon yes i don't
know when but yes dude the the funniest part the funnest part of those spaces is it's it's like an
english-speaking space like there's the vibe it's like it but then the music dude that kills it it's
it's just very funny and i feel like people can just be there just for the music it's it's random and funny
Yo, and Honeybee is hilarious. I think he hosted the last one. I don't know if he was taking tequila shots the whole time or if that was just part of the call to action to get in the spaces and hang out. But I'll try to make it the next one myself. I know we got some other homies up here. I want to say what's up to Snowflake. Welcome up. You have any questions or thoughts for the friends up here?
So yeah, like it's cool to see, you know, people are vibing, you know, like up and downs, like, uh,
generally, but, like, people are still grinding.
People are part of the club.
You know, in one collection or another.
You know, it's all like a big, big, big, big, you golex family.
And, like, even, like, those who may be, like, X family,
they're still a part of the family, the part of the ape chain, you know,
like part of the community, one way or another, one another community.
And it's, like, pretty, pretty cool.
And, like, what I'm exciting about, like, it's...
Actually, all the things that was mentioned by Garga, you know, about 3D mutants, you know, and all the past, like, how they're working on it and like they talk about it on the podcast.
And hopefully they dropped by summer.
So it's like really, really exciting.
And like I want to see those details.
I want to see this like unified vision, you know,
and like want to play with those avatars in 3D, you know, do something with them.
Like I'm excited about this, obviously.
You know, and shout out for all the spaces like in different languages.
You know, there's a German language spaces like...
There's like Spanish languages, different spaces.
You know, I hope to see like more French spaces as well.
You know, it's pretty cool, you know.
It's like all across the world there is like Chinese spaces, you know, and I just want to see like more and more languages.
You know, and you can like even use like if you don't speak the language, you can use like a translator, like direct one.
And you can listen to the space or transcripts, you know, something like this, you know, some I tool up.
And you just like embrace like other cultures and like understanding the vibes, you know, and just people all across the world.
And you know, like we're all people.
You know, with different avatars, you know, with different like inspirations, with different experiences.
And that's what builds like gigantic, gigantic, gigantic, you go like ecosystem.
You know, and that just keeps growing.
You know, like even like just one thing, like with one PFP, like even the cheapest one, like on ebb chain, you are part of this gigantic ecosystem.
So it's pretty cool, you know.
I think that speaks to last eight fest.
52 or 56 different countries represented, right?
Like, I don't know somewhere in that 50 range,
but it just speaks to how international our entire community is.
And kind of the fun of Web3, we're sitting in a digital space together.
None of you guys are where I'm at in California.
And it's kind of awesome that we get to spend our time together,
exploring, building, creating, whatever else we might be able to do.
I know Quit and Pee-Pee Man are always busy, like I said,
and we only ask them for 30 minutes of their time.
I know they might have to dip off.
So I want to ask you guys if you kind of have any last thoughts you wanted to shout out before you dipped.
You're absolutely welcome to hang out the rest of the spaces with us because we got NGB and Loss going to come up here in a minute.
Talk about some stuff popping on APE chain.
Later on, we're going to talk about the AIPs for the NBA Dow.
There's just a ton of shit to get into.
Yeah, and I got one more question for him too.
One more question because I had a partnership meeting this week and they mentioned they're doing something with polka dot and I was laughing.
I'm like, holy shit, man.
I got to thinking, I'm like, who even builds on top of polka dot?
Like, you know, I'm sure people are, but, you know, that was like 2021 I was hearing about that.
And I was like, I was drinking the Kool-Aid and buying shit.
And then this whole mini cycle that we've had currently haven't heard anything about PolkaDat.
So, and it just got me thinking like, man, like,
And they've been around for like, what, two, maybe two, five, two to five years.
I would love, like, quit PV Man.
Where do you see Ape Chain in five years?
Because you guys are some of the guys or the people building it in the background.
Where do you guys see Ape Chain in five years?
I thought you were going to ask me what I was building on Pocod.
I was like, I don't have an answer for you, bro.
Yeah, so Ape Chene in five years.
Apes will be still at the center.
We will have a core community of builders and creators that came from the BAYC community.
But I think what you'll see is that it'll become more of a home for a lot of communities that actually were fostered and began there.
So we've already seen like G's pop up and we've seen gobs pop up and they've formed super, super strong communities.
And then you'll see people get shadowed over, like collections that want to launch
NFT shadows like OmniChane, Omni-Existent NFTs.
The easiest place to start will be ApeChane for that.
And so you'll see a lot of new communities that are actually birthed here on Ape Chain, but live everywhere.
but obviously like the home the place that you call home and the place that you spend like most of your time
exploring is still going to be here on ape chain so we'll see an explosion of
like NFTs for sure obviously I'm an NFD maxi have been for a long time I think like that's the best path towards saving Ethereum because it's the most fun you can have on chain but in addition to that we'll see the defy come in we'll see the tokens come in we'll see the shit coin ecosystem like all of that stuff will will start to thrive as well and so I think you'll just see
kind of an explosion of communities based around all of those different things.
Great answer. Peevi, what do you think?
I think that the only thing that I'd add is, there's two things I would add.
The first one is we really talk about like five years, like even a couple years.
I think technology is going to be, or the tech that is, that builds around chains is going to be a lot more user-friendly.
And it's going to be a situation in which it doesn't really matter if you're on Ape Chain or Base or wherever.
But it really matters what apps are hosted there.
And I see OtherSight also taking a big role in the way that we shape communities and we shape how we build on Ape Chain.
So yeah, I agree with Quit.
I think that all those communities that have started will continue to grow.
But other side will become also really good.
Community building tool, social tool, and yeah.
I can't wait for that part.
You know, as a longtime dreamer of what the other side could be as a community member
and still holding on to my acid deed, I can't wait to just dream of what that can be
and then actually experience it.
And this is kind of the fun of being committed to the long-term experience.
reality that it takes time to achieve these amazing things like so many of us are
starting to feel the excitement again collectively knowing that you know
Gargis talks talked about like a persistent world coming down the road and you
know all the tools that we've been given having Dashbow as a community tool
that we've given like shout out to Rita and and Inceptive for creating that
amazing tool that we have like that
That's so rad because now you can go in, create whatever you want.
And it just shows that there's more and more builders showing up daily.
I can't wait for, to me, like, I think about the five, 10 year picture all the time,
not just for Ape Chain, but like the Bortabia B yacht club, man.
This is a thing that we're going to be members of for the next decade of our lives,
if we're lucky, many of us, right?
It's weird to know that I've gotten to start friendships with people that have these same shared interests.
But I kind of think the better stuff is ahead of us.
We just don't even know what it is yet.
Like we haven't even hit four years as a club existing yet.
And we're talking about Abe Chain, all these amazing tools, all these other things.
We're going to talk about spotlight in a second, which is another amazing thing cracking in this space.
Like there's just so much to be excited about.
Illa, what are you excited about?
I'm really excited about other side, man, to be honest.
Like, I feel like it was a really big swing.
And as time goes on, I really see, like, the vision for other side.
Because especially as more, as you get more information about things like AGI, right, and robotics, advanced robotics.
A lot of people are scared of those things, me included.
And I just feel like it's going to really shift.
It's going to shift our world in ways that we can't imagine.
But personally, I think it's going to be a lot of people who lose jobs.
Just follow me here and may get dark for a second.
There's going to be a lot of people who lose jobs and end up at home on their couch.
Because there's going to be a lot of jobs that quote unquote mundane that computers and will just take over or robotics.
So at the end of the day, those people that are at home, they're going to be looking to make money online.
And I feel like a lot of those people are going to be online, going to jump into dynamic virtual worlds to make money.
And I feel like that's, they're going to, other side is going to meet them right where they're at.
And if there's this digital economies going on inside of other side,
if there's people doing FBA,
like they're doing the fulfillment of,
of like the Amazon stuff or they build an Amazon store inside of,
And you can go in there and play a game and do like,
like order fulfillment inside of a game or something.
There's going to be a ton of wild things that happen inside of other side on top of
We're 10 steps ahead of everybody else in this space when it comes to that.
And we have our own ecosystem and we have our own chain and we have our own token.
So that's where it gets super exciting for me.
And we have things that, like, people and them are working on that hide the wires.
Where you just, you sign in, you have a wallet, and it's just like, okay, with the fucking email.
So we're actually lowering the barrier of entry.
And I feel like things like other side doesn't throw just gasoline, man.
I throw kerosene a whole fucking...
A whole fucking fuel truck worth of kerosene on top of shit.
And that's what makes me excited.
I think in the next five years, man, because now there's quantum computing.
Imagine other side with quantum computing.
Like, those are things that get me excited.
I feel like we're heading the right direction.
And I think a lot of people, like, we're like, oh, we don't care about gaming.
Yeah, because, you know, we're D-Gens and we want that dopamine hit right now. But something like a game, something like a dynamic virtual world takes time to build. And we're building ours and I feel like ours is going to be the one. Because we're already on here all day with these damn JPEGs.
Yeah, an interesting point, though, it's not a game when it becomes a virtual ecosystem, right? It becomes like a different sort of reality, not quite a game, but.
But more so where you go to spend your time to make your income, perhaps.
So it's kind of redefining some of the basic logics we have of how we perceive things.
I love getting fucking deep and philosophical with you about this kind of shit.
That's why I love me at the Clubhouse Fridays.
We got two other legends, some OGs from fucking day one.
We got Hoddleer collective.
What are you excited about man with ape chain?
I know you got a lot cooking.
I'm super excited, man, Abe Chain on top, wapy, wapy.
You know, I'm excited to kind of close down the spotlight season one, get out these prizes for people.
Also, you know, highlight a lot of our great builders in the APECoin ecosystem.
So I'm glad you've given us this little slit on me at the clubhouse to kind of come up and talk about them.
So I'm excited to dive in.
Hope everything's going well with everybody.
And Illa, what's going on with that PFP, man?
Taproot Wizards, we love them, but I thought this was meet at the clubhouse, not meet at the
magician's house. What's going on? I mean, you know, we have, we have, uh, I got an honorary. Um,
I'm, I joined the, the, oh, oh, that's, that's all you had to say. It's honorary. Yeah, you know,
me and there's me and another esteemed member of the, of the club, Gordon Garner, we have
honoraries, you know what I'm saying? So I just had to make sure I represent, you know, for, uh,
for our brothers over there on Bitcoin, you know what I'm saying?
And, hey, we know, we're on Bitcoin, too, you know what I'm saying, with 12fold and things of that nature.
And I'm sure that, you know, we ain't going to stop there.
But yeah, you know what I'm saying?
It has to represent, you know what I'm saying, brother, Ben.
No, I love that, you know, cross community, just bonding and support.
I think that's been one of the biggest things that have come out of a chain, right,
is that it's not a PFP, it's not a PVP chain.
A lot of these NFT communities are working together.
Maybe Spotlight, you know,
has kind of turned into a possible pvp towards the end of this, you know, coming last two days,
delegate your points, XYZ, but overall we have seen just people kind of working together,
communities working together, cross communities, you know, engaging with each other and building
dope content and pushing out their narratives of, hey, come support us, let's work together on this.
And I think that's been, you know, an amazing kind of highlight of spotlight.
And speaking of spotlight, man, I was on a space yesterday, right?
And it was a space like five, six hundred people in there.
And I'm doing, doing what I do, representing the motherfucking club.
And of course, somebody came up.
Shout out my guy, Mace, the pirate penguin.
Why hasn't Yuga done anything in the last for this entire cycle?
I'm like, bro, what are you talking about?
And I had to start listing things, right?
I'm like, man, we have BMW partnership, bait partnership.
We had, you know what I'm saying?
We've been doing monthly trips to play Project Dragon.
Then that was culminated with breaking the Guinness Book World record inside of Project Dragon.
And we beat that by 500 people.
You know what I'm saying?
And the Guinness people were there type shit.
And I'm like, and then...
ape chain i'm like our focus has been a chain i was like we didn't have we didn't launch we
didn't hype it up there was no tge there was no token speculation we we did that shit as a stealth
launch and i was like last i checked the other day only thing that was green was ape chain nftes and i
was like then there's something called spotlight and the host the co-host of the space was like oh i
She was like, I really love Spotlight.
Like, so what is the goal of Spotlight?
You guys are just like sweeping?
I'm like, no, like the person who was on the top of the leaderboard, shout out Don Diablo.
And they were thinking I was talking about the DJ.
Everyone was like, oh, the DJ Donnie.
I'm like, nah, no, one of our community members.
actually got sent to the Oscars and they were blown away.
I'm like, yeah, that's just like the tip of the iceberg.
The season ends and then we're going to start season two.
So what is, how does that feel to know like people outside of our ecosystem are hearing about spotlight?
And that's the thing that they were excited about.
After all the laundry list of things that I listed,
that that you again and um and the apes have been up to they they honed in on spotlight y'all so
shout out flowers to to the to the whole um ape chain team but how does that feel to know
the other people outside of our ecosystem are paying attention
I think, you know, it goes to just kind of all the hard work and effort that's been put into getting spotlight launched and then also keeping it running throughout the six weeks and all the effort that's going to go into making this a program that's successful throughout the coming year.
It's great. Like that fomo inducing stuff, as we know in Web3 is kind of what brings those new participants.
So as more people outside of our ecosystem get excited and have their eyes peeled on what we're cooking up here,
hopefully that does open the door for them to get bridged over. And we are working on other ways to make onboarding super easy to kind of come onto APE chain.
So hopefully all these things kind of come into unison in the next coming months and kind of...
works to expand our ecosystem and also highlight the amazing things that we are doing internally
and amazing things our communities are building across the board.
So it feels really great.
and to continue to keep making sure that apes are informed about what we're doing
and what you guys are doing and how we're collectively just kind of grinding all the time
we've asked you and either Spend or Lost or anyone from the ape chain team to come
uh, every Friday to the meet of the clubhouse to kind of talk about what's popping on
ape chain just for a little bit, you know, just let the community know because I think for a
lot of us, we're just so busy with our heads down, either building, working, family, whatever,
that unless we get, you know, our normal rhythm where we get together here and talk with the homies,
It's nice to have you guys put some stuff on the radar.
So I'm going to throw it to Hoddler Collective, Mr. THC.
I know, first of all, this dude is one of the hardest fucking ape,
the hardest working apes out there.
No, but he's on every spaces all the time.
Yo, what's up? I feel like now that you guys realize four years later, it's THC, like, you know, it's...
I just found that out just now, dog. That's crazy.
Yeah, it's... I feel like that's... that's going to... I'm going to have to get a T-shirt made or something, or Wabom's throwing a lot of emojis. I might be fired.
Yeah, Wabom just... He just found out, too.
It's over. It's over, lost.
Oh, shit. You were showing as a listener. I didn't even know he was on the stage.
I thought I was talking shit like a comedian.
GGs. GGs. All right. Um, fuck. I, uh, what am I here to highlight? Highlighting,
onboarding, highlighting how easy it is to access ApeChane? I mean, how am I supposed to follow up
from fucking quit and Peepee Man? But damn it, if you guys haven't been paying attention,
first of all, fucking NFTs on Ape Chain. Apechain is the home of NFTs.
Fucking Schpen said wapy, wapy, but if you guys aren't paying attention to that, to that fucking spotlight,
Yeah, you guys might be the next one to get wapy, wapied.
So pay attention to what's going on with the spotlight.
I've said it almost every stage.
But we now finally have an end date and an expectation, a time frame for when that $250,000 sweep is coming.
This has been public information the whole time.
If you guys have not joined Ape Chain yet, if you guys have not joined in the ApeChane
At least just take a look at the spotlight.
That aside, that aside, you guys might have also seen that ape chain is getting a little bit of hype on the NFT side from the open sea air drop.
I know people feel differently, you know, people feel how they feel about open sea, but it is just another opportunity for the apes to take advantage of.
If you guys, you know, want to go in there and do some farming, there might be something.
rewarding for you at the end. I imagine there has to be something that feels rewarding at the end of that.
Even if you're expecting that your past activity should be rewarded, there's a lot of opportunity on ape chain right now and there's clearly some extra incentives coming out that you guys didn't see. They posted that. The ape coin account reposted it. And if you see OpenC, ape chain NFTs are plastered all over the front page. And I know...
There are a lot of people that just, you know, when they think of NFTs, they go straight to open C.
Maybe they're not engaged in the community every day.
Maybe they were here a couple years ago.
Maybe they're just coming back.
The first place that they think about a lot of times, it's open C.
What are they going to see?
Gobbs is right there at the top of the headline.
Realis is right there running the charts up.
I think it said like 700% on the chart the other day.
you know, digitized logo, RILAs, Gatsby, I think Gatsby's up here.
No, I can't tell you, Aqua MFers apart, Baca, Drew, Gatsby.
You all look, Aqua to me, but shout out to the realists for sure.
And then we got sexes opening up.
Every time I say this word, whether it's in a meeting, whether it's on stages,
It feels like another one of those acronyms like my name that really seems to resonate with people.
Sexes are opening routes up to Abe chain.
We got Coin Store so far.
Definitely keep an eye on that.
Again, if you guys don't like sexes, you guys are decentralized maxis.
But we need to have those pathways open for other people to find their way to us.
So those are positive when you see those things.
You definitely want to support as you feel it's necessary.
Because we're talking about these platforms, if you guys missed it, and because we're talking about NFTs, if you guys missed it, the Gs are getting another air drop. They're getting the mintify air drop. That's old news that came out. They're also supposed to get some nuts. I think I heard yesterday, alo fuck the nuts up. I think they were supposed to get them yesterday. But I think you guys, you know, there might be some of G's nuts heading those ways. So, I mean, again, objectively, there's a lot of shit going on if you're a G on Ape chain.
And just a last shout out to Arbitrum.
They did invite us to join them over at GDC.
And it's just another opportunity to get FaceTime with some of the biggest people in the industry.
I was looking at some of the people who are going to be there, some of the speakers.
It's the fucking who's who of the industry.
It's people from Unity from Microsoft, from Adobe, AMD, Intel, and the Vita.
Everybody you expect, developers from Silent Hill, from Helldivers, all the biggest fucking games.
And boom, Ape Chain is going to be right there in the middle.
And I'm getting the, that's a lot.
We might have to do like,
actually I was going to say,
we don't have to do another space.
We got coffee and captain.
We got apes to do a morning space.
that's a lot of fucking shit, man.
shout out to the BD team on Ape chain.
Let's get flowers where they're deserved.
The BD team on Ape chain is fucking cooking with heat,
I don't know what other man.
Hey, I did a post the other day and I said,
Ape Chain is outworking every project and it's not even like it's not even a competition or some shit.
boy there was so many comments people in my comments popping shit throwing up like 24 hour charts
and I didn't want to be petty me like man let's see the 30 day then like see the 30 day like
you know what I'm saying let's see that monthly let's see that weekly with that weekly looking like
I didn't want to be petty but that just shows that you know like you know we got to pop our shit
and it and it's valid there's two things I want to definitely touch on one is I
Like, that means that that sound like some well bam shit.
Like, yo, that sounds like some real banana bill, banana bam.
Like, like, what is, what is that like?
What's that thought process like, like, yo, let's like earmark a quarter ticket to make
sure our community feels that love.
Like, I would love to hear, well, bam, tap in on that.
Because that's not some normal shit.
Nobody else is doing something like that, bro.
We're trying to get the community riled up.
You know, this is, it is a first.
It's a first across Web 3.
And it's like, yeah, guys, have at it.
I thought from the start, we'd have different NETIC communities,
like really like kind of after each other,
but it turned up to be really like a PVE thing, you know?
It was a lot of people like supporting each other,
a lot of people trying to lift each other up.
And then I think with that last rule change,
where it was like you can only delegate to one to three communities,
That's when it became a little more like, okay, who's taking this?
Who's, you know, who's going to win?
And now you got until Monday, you know, like it's all, it ends on Monday.
So let's see who the top 10 come out as.
But, but yeah, I mean, it's like a huge little like a little huge incentive, huge liquidity boost.
you know, a big, crazy experiment, and we're super excited to see how it plays out here.
We got to ask, because we have the opportunity here, Pee-Man, do you have the night out planned already,
or is it just going to evolve as it happens?
Because that, to me, is one of the coolest opportunities up there, and I think to many others in the club.
Fucking perfect. Let's go.
What they talk about? Oh, yes, yes. Go-karting.
No, the thing is that I said the whole thing on mute and then I unmuted myself and yeah, I'm excited. That's it.
You're not going to squeeze the orange juice out of that orange background. I've been trying for the longest. He's good at being quiet, but there's going to be plenty of surprises at every turner for these experiences.
They're going to be special, right?
They're, again, Unforgettable Night in NYC with PeePMan.
What do you want it to mean, right?
Like James said, is that, you know, great or do we end up in jail together?
And again, if that's something you want to do, I know Pee Pee Pee Pee Man is all aboard for it.
So stay tuned for a lot more info coming around those.
Yeah, we got, we got bond money.
We got bond money, motherfucker.
What I'll say is that there's very weird places in New York that I really like to go, so we'll have fun.
Yeah, and also, like, all of those experiences are all inclusive, right?
Like, you're going to get an amazing travel, you have amazing stay, and a couple other things as well.
So can't spill the beans completely, but, you know, stay tuned and we'll be rolling out more info, and they're going to be insane.
And we'll be sure that the rest of the timeline also gets a taste of the FOMO as well.
And you know what's interesting is that the more, and Ben knows, man, I came in a hundred miles an hour of how excited I was about this spotlight shit.
And he's like, he's the one who had to let me know like, hey, man, you know, it's been, we've been building this in public.
It's been a, it's been some ups and downs in this motherfucker.
It looked like, I'm like, oh, shit.
I just came in like, y'all, this shit is crazy.
Look, because I'm just hearing it from, from outside of our ecosystem.
And it's hard to impress these motherfuckers.
You know what I'm saying?
Especially everybody was just thinking about shit coins and all that.
So for us to actually get mind share in this space at this time is not an easy thing.
So once again, flowers to the ape chain team.
And what is that process like to come up with these type of initiatives?
What is that process like?
I know, like, give the listeners like a journey, like the daily journey of the ape chain team.
When we're thinking about something like, oh, let's do something like Spotlight,
because it's hard to cut through and be a signal through all this noise, man.
You just give Pee Pee Man a little bit of mushrooms and you wait two hours and see what comes back.
Dude, by the way, like, the board gazette did a poll, and I was, like, losing bad.
It was also, like, 20 people that voted.
So it was just, anyway, and then someone, I don't know who, someone bought it the poll.
Wait, so the whole thing is, whoever you are, if you come forward that you bought it, I'll show you a good time as well for free on me in New York.
Yeah, it feels like our team has figured out surprising delight.
That's what I was trying to get at.
I was trying, I'm doing two things at once.
It seems like the ape chain team has figured out the secret sauce from the founders, which is surprising delight.
Which is hard as fuck to do, man.
Definitely hard as fuck to do.
Anything else on the horizon, like what any, like, alpha about what season two looks like, what do people have to look forward to for season two?
Yeah, I think, you know, to speak to season two, we do have an admission period.
And we do want people to know, like, the NFTs that were used as multipliers will play a factor into the next season.
What season two looks like, we'll be able to share more, like, as we get into the intermission period, but we can expect that to come sometime in quarter two.
So kind of keeping that close to the chest now, but again, stay tuned for some more info as we kind of close down this season, roll out the prizes, and then begin again touch on what season two will cook up.
And I think you, you know, you mentioned a great thing of, like, tackling mindshare in this space and as, you know,
As markets are going the way they are, it was great to, you know, see ape chain NFTs kind of have their own light.
Like, hey, all markets red, ape chain NFTs are green. It's been like that maybe for a couple weeks.
And that is, you know, I think a direct outcome of the spotlight program, but also, you know, just the way that this community has been built, right?
Like with the $250,000 sweep coming, we've.
You know, we've noticed, and I think Rita mentioned this on like another space, like a lot of the money in this ecosystem doesn't tend to flow out. It tends to go back to more to supporting the newer creators or goes back to supporting the people really building. So I think with that sweep, you know, we'll see, of course, crazy post, hype, excitement, but.
At the end of the day, like all of that hype, the royalties generated will help, you know, the teams build longer.
People will make their flips.
People will come back and join other 8-Chain communities that they haven't been able to be a part of.
So I think it has a real big ecosystem effect outside of just, you know, the hype of, of course, it's going to be fucking insane that the quarter milly is about to be spent on picking up the top NFT projects.
But it has like an everlasting effect, I think, that will trickle down to just more excitement throughout 8-Chane.
And yeah, you know, Spotlight will be back.
So we'll see what season two looks like.
It starts with the fact that from the top, the community is taking care of the community.
You know, and since day one on Ape Chain, that was always the thing people would say in the trenches is like,
you're minting this project.
Not really because you really...
I hate to say it this way, but like care so much what they've made.
You're doing it more so because you believe in that person and you've been looking for a way to support them because you've enjoyed their posts for all these years or they've become your friend in some capacity.
And I listen to a lot of ape chain spaces and someone who was talking about this yesterday, they're like, I don't care what bouvet was going to make.
I was just going to buy it and support it.
You know, and I love to hear that with a lot of us.
We've spent so much time together.
And many new people come in and they go,
man, this feels like a club.
And then all of a sudden, they just become part of it with us, right?
So it's been very nice to be so receptive, not just in the Borde Abyat Club community itself,
but in the Ape Chain community, as it's all kind of blurring into one thing now,
because a lot of the people who flip their Ape Chain NFTs have flipped into Mewants,
You love to see that shit.
Yeah, I've seen a lot of people flip up.
That brings back them old days, man, when people will literally just flip up into the asset they wanted.
And I hadn't seen that in so long.
And to see it just happening in our ecosystem, every day I wake up, I see people saying, man, I finally joined the club.
I finally, and I'm like, damn, boy, the mutants, man.
The mutants are undervalued, right?
I'm like, yo, people don't even understand.
Like, more and more people are joining the club,
and they're realizing the value in it because at the end of the day,
it's it's it's a signal through the noise man the builders are what people are looking for now
people had their their their time at the casino and they and they realize at the end of the day
the casino the house always wins the casino will always win at the end of the day
That's what it's built for.
It doesn't change because it was crypto.
Now people have realized like, you know what?
I do miss somebody that's building.
I can't, I really don't like vaporware.
You know what I'm saying?
Because, and especially the apes, when I tell people, hey, man, I don't give them if I got my fucking wizard on right now.
I've round you can't talk about you want to know about what it feels like the round trip I'll tell you motherfucker
I'm we're experts of that shit y'all people just didn't know you thought you had those meme coins and oh this that and the third but and now the round trip vapor where it's like okay don't worry you can return the monkey
You can get a, you can jump in this ecosystem.
And then once you jump in, you're like, damn, spotlight.
Like, there's a, there's every day.
There's people holding spaces.
Damn, like, who's this fucking Rita guy?
You join the club and there's a ton of energy and there's people looking forward to shit.
And there's not one time as a motherfucker said token.
So there's lessons in that.
There's a lot of lessons in that.
We got some more to gang up here, man.
We're tapping on Spotlight and what's going on in H?
Bro, everything is popping on H in the Spotlight.
You know, all I got to say, you know, in the top 100s, been grinding, you know.
Got to stay grinding all the time.
Man, so many people, it's a great day to be in the club, man.
Yeah, definitely mutants undervalue.
You know, great time to get in the club.
But the 8-chain team, man, they cook in all the time, man, you know.
I know Pee-P man say he beat you, but I was witness to Pee-P man wiping you out.
Okay, I was, I had a front row seat to that shit.
You know, I'll see you a few weeks.
I'll be in the New York area.
But yeah, man, I had a front row seat to that.
But, yeah, man, I came up to just say, what's up?
It's sunny here in Georgia.
I'm a little bit drowsy because I just had two days ago.
I had some oral surgery, so I'm on some good meds right now.
You know, but yeah, man, what a great day to be in the club on a chain.
Sounds like every day is a great day to be in the club and to hell yeah.
Take it light with the meds, man.
Take it light with the men.
I got my, I got my, I got my good medications, you know what I'm saying?
But I just, yeah, but I know like our guys are super busy, man on the ape chain side of thing.
I want to thank her for definitely showing up.
and giving us some insight and some some alpha and some updates and anything else y'all want to to drop on
how many people we got here man we got 263 apes 263 people because there's people from outside our ecosystem
Because that's how much we're giving it up on the timeline, man.
People from all over the space are tuning in to our clubhouse spaces.
And everybody's welcome, for real, for real.
So, yo, THC, Span, well, bam, anything y'all, anything y'all want to leave the people with, man.
There's too many people in here to even shout out.
I have like a short list that I'm looking at.
But I mean, I feel like, fuck, shout out to so many people that are out here.
If I even just scroll down, like I see Vicky's here, Grateful Life is here, Allo is here.
Fucking Michael Reyes here.
If you guys don't know about the fucking eggs,
if you fucking ape chain NFTs, bro,
you guys better pay attention.
Amps down there throwing up the emojis.
Even Von Fronting with this ugly aqua background.
Not like, fuck, the whole club is here
If you're not building on an ape chain yet,
you better figure it out and tap into the ape chain community
You guys see it happening on the timeline.
Quick question for show biz, because he said he's in the top 100.
What would you choose if you won?
You're taking the ape chain?
I just want to board eight if I could get one, if I could win one.
Because I'm big into IP, right?
And I want a clean ape so I can use it on IP.
Shout out to the homie hoarder.
He's putting me on cookies.
He's having an event on the 22nd and board trading coast opening in Philly.
Y'all see it on the timeline.
Yeah, man, I'm trying to get my IP on everything.
Y'all see me on boxers and Joe Carrots, boarders.
board shop styles you know board style shops sorry i'm i'm a little woozy right now but yeah man you know
it's all about the ip for me like building with you builders down there in the audience like
i'm bullish on made by apes so i'm taking that ape if i'm winning bro clean ape for ipi
Damn, that's the common response. I'm not gonna lie. People that have the ape already, people that don't have the ape. The chase items seems to be the ape. I'm just gonna put it out there. I'm just gonna put it out there because we like to fuck around. If you go out on a night on the town with Pee-Pee, man. If you go out on a night on the town with Garga, you better ask him, like, give me a fucking ape, bro. Just give me an ape. Just tell him, give me an ape. Yeah, be like maybe at the donuts store with the ledger, we're good.
Yeah, I heard Pee Pee Man may walk around with a couple ledgers or two.
Like, we have seen, you know, the B.A.C. kind of be the prize.
But, you know, there are other amazing experiences outside of Garga and PeePenman, right?
Like the Coachella event, those are, like, that is an unpurchable experience.
That's something that, you know, we have been holding close to our chest.
And, you know, that's going to be...
I don't think I can even do it justice on the kind of experience that, you know,
people will kind of be in tune to for Coachella there.
Like, it's more than a VIP trip.
It's a whole inclusive thing.
And also, it extends a bit more than just the official Coachella event.
So I don't want to say too much, but it's like multi-pronged and pretty exciting.
I think Lost looked into it a little bit on one of the previous spaces and did a great job
of kind of like summing it up.
There's going to be surprises at every corner with all those experiences.
Of course, the board ape is, you know, everybody wants to join the club.
That's reasonable, of course.
But some of these things on the experiences can't be purchased, like a board ape can be purchased.
Um, just keep that in mind and stay tuned for more info around them.
And just to close out, I mean, I don't have any more ape chain specific alpha.
I think the alpha on ape chain is the builders, are the builders that are cooking up
amazing products, amazing communities, amazing brands.
Um, I think just to shout out a couple that we all know and love.
They are, you know, a cornerstone of the community, Rita, everything that he's done for
B-A-Y-C, Yuga, up until even launching G's, you know.
know, him and his team, you know, they've done so much for all of us and, you
To see that kind of garnered support on the ape chain community and see them pull out, you know, the amazing G's website where you can create social content.
They're rolling out utility with the nuts.
And of course, already getting air drops included in the anime air drop, including in the Mentify air drop.
Like that team is cooking.
They, you know, it might not even do them justice to compare them to be the B-A-Y-C of A-Chane because they're hitting shit out to park.
The ones that we've come to know and love, like token gators by OG community members, super pop, paper DK things, you know, that's been a collection that has made its way into like the back end of all of all the other collections.
Like you can see gobs with gator hats.
You can see a bunch of the other new collections that's kind of trying to embrace the.
the lure of token gators and that lure originated out of the swamp right like that's why they're
gators like it's it's it's it's the b a yc swamp that these gators have came out of and you know
they're working on fostering a genuine community slow burn um and it's and it's working great for
them um and across the board right i know we've mentioned people like bouvet who has been building
in the bayc community for a while and through frostbites has included you know
pretty dope utility through his raffles, through gem, through soft staking, including other
various communities. And I think that has been, you know, a core note of the success on Ape Chain
is that all these communities went together and all these builders went together. And it's about
kind of coming in and respecting that and supporting that and then finding where you can fit in
to kind of amplify, build your own stuff, but also do it in a way that
supports A-Chane, supports all the other builders.
Let me ask you a question.
Let me ask you a question, dog, because I know a lot of us in here, I look around,
I see a lot of friends, a lot of OGs, but there's a lot of new faces as well.
And maybe we haven't dabbled on Ape Chain as much, right?
So what would be a good way for someone who's new to the ecosystem?
Because it's still relatively new overall.
And you know there's so much good stuff going on, but like, what's a good starting point?
Because it can feel overwhelming if you're like, I want to get into it,
but I'm already in all these other
East communities and all these other things.
Like, how do you get into Ape Chain
if you have a thought on that?
Yeah, I think first and foremost
would be setting up that Ape Chain wallet, right?
Getting onboarded onto Ape Chain
and experiencing that for the first time.
I did just pin my guide up to the top.
Feel free to Borgue me for that,
but it's the quick four easy steps
on kind of getting on boarded to Ape Chain.
Outside of getting prepped,
the community spaces hosted by people like Baca,
20 plus amazing creators in our ecosystem is a great way to kind of get your toes wet.
I don't even know if that's the correct saying, but kind of jump into APE chain without fully jumping it into Ape Chain with like spending and buying things.
Because, you know, D-Gens, they'll go to Magic Eden and they'll probably pick two, three things.
Instead of doing that, if you feel like doing that, that's great.
I would suggest one, getting set up on Ape Chain, and then two, taking a little bit of time to get to know the community.
Spend time in these spaces.
Spend time to kind of get the vibe.
See what has already passed that maybe you connect with.
And it's a great way to kind of...
get onboarded onto ape chain.
So through the community spaces and also get your wallet set up.
You can't enjoy ApeChain unless you have that Ape Chain RCP added to a wallet that supports it and funded.
So the CXs that we have cooking up and other more announcements coming down the line should again make that streamlined in way easier for Web2 people to come in,
but also the Web3 audience to kind of make their way over to Ape Chain.
Appreciate you coming up, man.
I think it's something that I forget often is I forget how to explain starting to people because I'm like so far down the road already myself.
I'm like, how do you start that thing?
So it's nice to touch on that every once in a while.
This has been a dope episode.
We've had the whole fucking team up here.
We're going to say hi to in a minute.
We're going to say, what's up to Baca?
But one of the things that we want to do too is quickly tap on the ApeCoin Dow proposals, mainly because when we have a snapshot for MBAs, we want them to get their votes in because that's an opportunity we have as being part of the NBA program.
But it's also something that we're all collectively aware of, you know, and.
What we're going to do when we have the time and when we have the opportunity and when the proposal authors have the time to come join us, we're going to invite them to come on meet the clubhouse from time to time when there's a snapshot for MBA, which there is pinned up above.
Maybe they're going to come.
Maybe they won't, but we're just going to quickly make you guys aware of it.
Today, I believe only one of the two current authors came to join us.
There's an AIP 550 for ape sites.
And then there's AIP 557, I'm sorry, ape universe.
And I believe we have the...
author of Ape Universe up here.
Appreciate you hanging out the entire time with us.
We're going to bring bad teeth up as well.
So I apologize, I'm going to shuffle people around the stage.
But before I throw it over to our guest,
I want to bring bad teeth up and throw it over to him
to give a little bit more context
and give us an opportunity to celebrate the NBA program
because that's one of the fun
parts of the club for so many of us they've been killing it with all the different things they've
got going on behind the scenes a lot of stuff coming so with that said bad teeth what's good happy
friday how you doing what's good baron i am enjoying the evening here in lisbon actually um wrapping up
a bit of a remote work trip so having a good time oh yeah i do appreciate you now we're gonna
we're gonna throw it over to uh
I am so sorry because I know I'm going to butcher it, so I'm just going to call you Jay.
Thank you for hanging out with us the entire time.
I know we had talked in DMs that you might need a translator, and I apologize.
I don't see them on the stage.
I will offer you the opportunity to say what's up and maybe talk about your proposal,
a quick 90-second elevator pitch about it, if that's a possibility.
Happy Friday. Thank you for inviting me to this clubhouse. I'm Jia Hui, the author of AIP 557.
I want to share my AIP story here. Although we speak different languages, we have the same passion.
Because I don't speak English very well, I ask my friend Angela to translate for me.
Would you please invite here up?
Yeah, she's not in the audience, unfortunately.
I don't see her anywhere.
Let me keep looking for her.
I was afraid that was going to happen.
But what we do have pinned up above in the meantime next to Ship Ends thing is the proposals.
I will keep looking for Angela.
Let's go ahead and mute you real quick.
Uh, bad teeth, can you give us while I look for her translator in the audience, could you give us just perhaps a little context of what's going on with MBA and what we should be looking forward to?
Maybe a little bit about the NBA APE University, uh, you know, segment that's happened and will be happening again.
For sure. Um, one thing I'll talk about initially is just, um,
We moved to use the delegated voting for the MBA NFTs on APEChing, but a lot of people hadn't followed that delegation process yet.
So there was a bit of confusion and we reverted to the old method just so that we could make sure to have more people be able to vote for this cycle.
But NFT Drew has a really good tutorial on how to delegate your MBA NFT so that you can just token gate the snapshot voting for the next round.
And really want to push people to do that.
One, it's just good obsec to not be voting with your vault wallet that has your apes in it.
on our side, it takes a manual process that we're dealing with to get the vote up right now
and moves it back to a trustless state, and that's really where we want to be.
So that's the motivation for the change, and I know that it caught a few people off guard,
despite the fact that we promoted it for a couple weeks beforehand.
So we gave everybody a couple extra weeks to get their delegation sorted out.
I will pin that up here right now, and please take a few minutes and do that.
It'll teach you how to delegate using delegate.xyZ, how to delegate NFTs on Ape Chain as well, which is a good thing to know.
Yeah, I think that's important to remember is that going forward,
we're going to need to delegate our NFTs through,
what is it, delegate.cash to get...
XYZ, delegate.xy Z. Delegate.xy Z.
Yeah, and these are the type of things that, like,
a lot of us just glaze over in our day-to-day.
It's not really on our minds until we go and get in front of the computer,
and we're like, how, we're going to vote finally,
and, you know, that goes by.
And I want to apologize...
Gia, I don't see Angela anywhere in the audience, so I can't actually bring her up.
If you want to ping her again, maybe ask her to rejoin the room.
We'll gladly bring her up.
But it's unfortunate because I really wanted to give you the opportunity to talk about your proposal,
especially since you hung out with us the entire time here.
Okay, we'll keep searching for her.
And if we can bring her up, we absolutely will.
In the meantime, let's say what's up to his siver.
I totally butcher that as well.
Anyway, I want to say one thing.
It's a great to see if in Portuguese getting the verified blue badge on opposite.
I think this is an insane achievement in such short time.
Yeah, people are getting more active and involved every day.
New members are joining, so many builders are coming up, and it's really crazy.
The Spotlight program has successfully energized the entire community.
Now collections are competing for the points with strategy and creativity.
and the picture to the Epcoigne team for listening to the community and supporting them with amazing work.
And my biggest wish is for BayoIC to win the Spotlight program.
If I win BayoIC, I will get tattooed on my another arm.
This will be historic moment for me.
And yeah, I already have the BayoC logo tattoo on my another arm.
Maybe the power of this tattoo will be work. It's magic this time.
Man, I love Heiswors energy, man.
It came in a million miles an hour.
Oh, we got Angela on stage.
Hey, Angela, how you doing?
I'm really happy to be here to help my friend translate.
Amazing, thank you. We're excited to have you.
If we could just have you briefly explain what AIP 557 is all about, what is the ape universe?
Maybe just, you know, two, three minute explanation, maybe not even that long if not needed.
But we would love to hear what you guys are proposing.
So, Gahue, they ask you, is, can't just say this question?
I want to say about Lhasa
and EPPOIN, 1,000-1-0-1-0-1-Moyer,
I believe this is Yoga Labs
has made great work to get our wealth,
the Chinese is a good use of use,
to use of the energy to build this
So Jia Hui said that her intention of
establishing the AP Universe
Alaska base, is that she's an OG
and she bought BAYC-7771 in 2021.
Later she received a mutant ape yacht club and the board of kennel club and more than 10,000 eight points by airdrop,
which is more than $100,000.
And compared to the price at which she purchased this BAYC, which is 0.48 ether,
It's an amazing return and she believed that the wealth she obtained is the result of the hard work and immense effort on the part of yoga lab.
And there's a Chinese proverb that a favor of a drop of water should be repaid with the spring.
So she also wants to contribute herself to help build this community.
I'm in Lhasaan's Sanjong,
to create a grand-yro-jubljubl,
to make from the world of community
to give us a need-yaw-to-bizheng
to give us the need-eastern,
and Rasaan-Gas-A-Ras-Gas-Gas-Gas-E-Gas-Gas-Gas-Gas-Gas-Gas-Gas-Gas-GY-GY-GYCGY-GY-GY-CINQ
Also, she created the AP Universe base at Lhasa Villa, mainly to provide help to community members from all of the world when they travel to Tibet,
whether it is about oxygen supply or travel information or any other difficulties that people encounter, they can reach out to the base.
And in addition, the Lassa Villa, which is a luxurious villa located halfway up the mountain,
faces the Potala Palace, which is a palace with a history of more than 1,300 years.
And it looks across the Lhasa River, and this is a great location with a wonderful view,
which matches the distinguished status of B.A.C.
In 2003, I and her people,
and 20-6-6-1-1-Y-C-Punks,
So in 2023, Zahui and her partners paid for the first ape universe Lhasa forum.
So the community participants included more than 20 members from B-A-Y-C, M-A-Y-C, and Punks.
She also posted some of the information on Twitter,
and many community members hoped that they could host the second forum,
and this is why she wants to apply for community sponsorship and invite more members to participate in the forum.
It's also because Tibet has magnificent sceneries and a very unique culture,
and especially when it comes to the origin of the Tibetan.
So according to historical records and myth,
so the Tibetan people are offspring of a divine monkey.
who came to the snow mountain to cultivate and who wedded rock demoness.
And so there is like a magical connection between Tibetan people and their myth and B.A.Y.
We Lhasa's Sanjong's group of zan-jong-hore
is a lot of religious-day-tong-day-tonged.
In the Zahzang, their own-in-syshsian,
their own-lawed-o-fu-fou-jit.
It's just-hechiti-e-e-each-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
So our Tibetan partner at the Lhasa Villa is a big religious family who practice Buddhism
and there are a dozen, over a dozen people in their family.
And so in some regions in Tibet, when it comes to their marriage, they practice like this ancient form of polyanjy,
which is a woman takes to a more husband.
and that applies to the family that we partnered with.
And they also really welcome our community to sight sea and travel to Tibet
and to carry out more cultural exchange activities in the form of this forum.
So lastly, I would really like to invite everyone to vote for AIP 557 to give us an opportunity to meet in Lhasa.
And for people who cannot go there, we also welcome you to travel there in the future.
And I want to say a heartfelt thank you to people who vote for us and for people who cannot vote to us.
We also welcome you to come and come to witness for yourself, what a warm community we are.
Thank you, Angela. Thank you, Jay, for coming up and speaking on your AIP.
If you haven't given Jay a follow, make sure you do so.
Make sure you check out her AIP. It's up for vote.
And I love her mission, you know, and it just proves that our club is a global club,
and we always have to support, you know, the global efforts of our global club members, man.
So I'll leave it at that.
Thank you for coming up and sharing with us.
I think it's cool to think about wherever you go in the world, too.
There's going to be a friend, perhaps there, a club member, a new friend right around there.
I had no idea there was a community there until learning about this AIP.
I wanted to say thank you as well.
We didn't have the other author up here today for AIP 550, but Lost, I'm sure, is super familiar with it.
I was going to ask if he could just briefly tell us what that one is.
Yo, good morning. I'm back.
Yeah, so AIP, there's two IPs.
AIP 57 was the one we just heard about now.
That's for the Lhasa base.
It says also just there in the title,
a tool for board API clip communities to create customized websites.
The Twitter handle for the person is Pop Deck,
and they have that included there.
If you guys did want to read about these proposals
instead of just listening to them as well,
you can go to the Apecoin site.
It's there in the Apecoin bio.
It's Apecoin.com and click discussion up at the top.
And both of these proposals are there
under the live AIP sections.
They want to establish a site.
It would be called Apesites.
And this would allow people in the community
to create their own personalized websites.
And the style would be similar to link trees or bentos.
And there would be different customizable components,
different elements there, different ways
that you can add color, different ways
that you can integrate your IP.
different sections that you can add to highlight events,
to create galleries even for the art that you've collected,
and all the different fun branding things, themes, fonts, colors,
There would be one of my animals knocking things over.
And there would be the ability for you guys to use this on both mobile and desktop.
And the timeline for this is just about four months.
They're requesting $25,000, $25,000.
And they've laid out sort of three separate trenches.
So as you request funds from the Dow, one of the expectations there is that you don't just...
take all the money at once anymore. There's a little bit of an expectation to deliver.
So just a transfer of 10 grand up front to get everything started.
The framework set up with Versailles.
So likely there would be like a beta we would already be able to start to see coming out of that first month
during their second months actually developing that beta and launching the primary interface for the community.
and then the full launch there a month after.
So pretty short development timeline.
They're also looking to address feedback,
so they're not just going to dump it on us and run off.
They did note that as well.
Pretty simple. You guys have until next Wednesday to get your votes in as well. That'll be Wednesday 19th, 6 p.m. PT. And if you have ape coin on ape chain, as long as you were holding it before that snapshot was taken, the snapshot was taken last Thursday. That was on the 6th, 6pm PT around that time.
Apecoin on Ethereum, ApeCoin on ApeChane, you guys can go and vote for these proposals.
Maybe you don't care about them too much, but it does make a big difference for these authors.
It is quite a process to even find their way up to vote.
It's just that the ApeSites proposal was started back in November.
And I think that the proposal for Lhasa was also...
Started back in November as well, yep, both back in November.
So, I mean, it's been four or five months now that these authors have stuck with it and are still here with us today to present these things.
So, yeah, definitely worth your guys' time to go and put those votes in if you can.
Do you appreciate you breaking that down for us. Bad Teeths.
Do the MBAs have a different time frame in which to get their votes in?
They do. NBA voting closes on Monday evening, 6 p.m. PST. And the reason for that is it gives us time to make sure that the vote gets in. And if we reach quorum, cast our 6.5 million ape coin for any of the proposals, whether for or against.
Appreciate you, man. This has been a hell of a spaces. We're getting close to running 90 minutes. We usually wrap it up right around then. But we got at least one or two homies on stage. We got to say, what's up to? And then we're going to dip off into our days. Go enjoy the rest of our weekends. Go touch grass. Go smoke grass. Go vote. Go whatever. Get back in the trenches. TfG. What's good. Happy Friday. How you doing, homie?
Hey, what's up, man? Hope everyone's having a good Friday. Just want to shout out you, Baron, Illa. Everybody always comes to the, you know, meet the clubhouses every single week. I know we're all busy. I'm pretty busy, so I don't get to like tap in all the time. But this is one space that I usually try to make it to because I can get all that information. I need apes and everything we're building. So shout to you guys consistent in delivering such a good show every week, man.
Like, if I wasn't a host on this space, I would pull up every week because there's so much, like, all the stuff that law said, I'm still trying to process.
I got to go back and listen to this motherfucker because that was a lot.
We are cooking with lava.
And who else was it, Barron?
Shout out TFG for pulling up, man.
That's the homie, working on some big things.
I know we said, what's up to him quickly?
But Baca, I want to give you a moment to speak.
And I really, I don't know if we said, what's up to Boris at all today?
If we did, it must have been so early ago.
but we're going to say what's up to Baca real quick,
and then we're going to let Boris wrap it up,
and we're going to be off into our days.
Happy Friday, everyone, GM.
You know, I'm just bullish on A-Chane, guys.
Excited for this upcoming Monday, you know,
these sweeps are looking good.
Everyone give Baca a follow.
He's out there hustling for ape chain spaces daily.
I see you out there in the trenches every single day putting in work.
Appreciate all the rest of the community out there.
Thank you guys for spending some of your Friday with us.
We genuinely appreciate it.
Had a really fun show today.
Look forward to having NGB and Loss come back more often to talk about different ape chain stuff.
Boris, I'm going to throw it to you, man.
We're doing this every Friday now, right?
And we have a bunch of dope ape chain builders to highlight, so we'll probably need
a thousand Fridays to get through them.
So you guys better come to every single fucking one.
Thanks for having us, fam.
No, no, no, I respect that.
You know, Spend, as another Cheetah gang member, you know, I'll allow it.
But I was going to say, bro, like, you told me to wrap it up.
You know, I'm not a rapper, so I'd have to really, like, think about it.
And maybe I'll do it for the next time because we're going to be doing this every Friday.
I'll think about it for the next time.
But, you know, everybody, hope you guys to have a great weekend, ape chin on top, and best club in the fucking world.
