talking about all sorts of games but mainly here's one thing that i do love about squiddy
always looking out for the community and making sure that homies are safe that is a thing i

most amazing art as of late, just time and time and time and time again. Yesterday, you guys hit us with a lot of beautiful visuals,
and I heard it in a lot of spaces,

with all this amazing work, art, news, everything,
and that's the kind of energy
that gets me fired up here in the club.

ever done like i think seeing that there's a particular uh band that's available for apes
like could we just talk about that real quick because i feel like that was such an incredibly
cool thing that happened yesterday yeah i mean i think you know like jay bond just posted which i think sums it up perfectly it's
like for a long time people kind of saw byc as the supreme of web 3 and like for us and for me
in particular like complex con has really put themselves on the map i think over the last almost
10 years at this point of being like the ape fest of streetwear. So when we were like, we're going
to go to Vegas. And I remember that they had done complex in Vegas last year. They were doing it
again this year. It was a no brainer to just be like, can we find a way to link up and collab?
So we started with talking with them. We let them know that ape fest was happening the same weekend.
And we were able to work out, you know, this bigger partnership where ApeChain is going to be the official blockchain partner.
And I'll let the ApeChain team, you know, speak on the specifics of what that means.
And then at the same time, we were able to get some, like, they let us know every time we talk,
they've never done this before. They've never let this many people in from one community.
And so they're going to hook Apes up with what we're calling the eight premier ticket. It'll get you kind of like
a fast pass line into the event, a custom wristband, and it'll be for apes and apes plus ones
only. So we're just really excited to kind of be able to bring show the love and then also you know help the the ape chain team
like really show up strong and show you know show that art streetwear fashion community uh what it
means to be on chain i think it's gonna be incredibly cool i'm sorry if i could just pick
up from there man yeah you know just coming off the staple pog nyc event this just felt like the
perfect you know next step in, you know,
stamping Ape Chain as the culture chain and a place where people can have fun.
I can't spill too much, but, you know, one touched on it a bit in one of his previous posts.
But, you know, there will be some tokenized experiences.
There will be, you know, a couple surprises up our sleeves.

The stage is the alpha. Honestly, being here on Friday,
tapping in every week leading up to Ape Fest is where you're going to get your best alpha.
The one thing I will add as an older gentleman,
drink a lot of water. A lot of water.
As much water as you could put into your body,
you know, like at least the eight cups you need a day, because you're going to be walking around,
you're going to be partying, you're going to be sweating, you're going to be having a blast,
but you want to stay hydrated because that will allow for longer fun. That is an OG gamblers
piece of advice for you guys out there.

What's something you would throw out as someone who might be coming to their first Ape Fest ever?

He touched a lot of great points.
I would say most definitely one of the key points is stay active in those
group chats, man.
You know, a lot of side events, a lot of community activations,
all kind of come to life in those.
And it can be hard chasing things down across the timeline as they go live.
So just staying in tune with folks, staying in tune with your chats could open up opportunities for you to connect with more people.
I would definitely have to echo keeping some of your IP somewhere, whether it's a badge, whether it's your ape on your shirt,
definitely come with stickers. You want to have something that you can pass around,
leave your imprint on people so people can tie that face to an ape since we are always online
all the time. Outside of that, I would say, you know, have a clear schedule, right? Be ready for the A-Fest events.
But then outside of that, you know, Apes degen late, man.
Make sure you get your rest.
After A-Fest, you may be out till 3, 4 a.m. with Lost in the club,
with Tiger doing who knows what up to no good,
with Lo maybe painting some art at 6 a.m.
So, yeah, just keep your eyes peeled.
Be ready.
The A-Fest is never always just the A-Fest day.
So always plan for a little bit before, a little bit after,
just so that you can intermingle with the community
outside of the official events
because there's going to be plenty, plenty of stuff that usually pops up.
Did anyone say bring a phone an
extra phone battery i feel like that's the that's the truest that's the real alpha if your phone's
dead you're fucked so grab one of those little anchor things off amazon or whatever but make
sure you keep your phone charged that's real shit i bought that for lisbon last year i use it every
day still uh so that's like absolutely gold. I will
say what came of that NGB is the low wake and create. That sounds amazing. I would love to go
to that event. I'm like 6am. My goodness. You never wanted to wake up and just paint the sunrise.
I'll be showing up to the venue with Chad at 6 a.m. to start putting it all together.

And I think when you think about culture and who's been around for literally 22 years, talking about sneaker culture, music culture, art trends, it's complex.

why we were like, Hey, this is a partnership made in heaven. And so we've been talking to them,
obviously, Chad kind of kicked off the whole thing, him and cam and, and we took it to the
finish line. But really, I mean, I'm here just to give a lot of flowers, not just to us, but really
to the complex team.
I kind of mentioned it in my tweet, but the people there, man, they align so much with what we're trying to do at Ape Chain and who we've been as apes.
And just like the folks, Olivia, Caleb, Chris, Neil, Maksha, those guys get it.

And they're aligned.
When we kind of share that DNA of, hey, we want to build in that intersection of culture, art, entertainment, et cetera, they were like, sign us up.
And so we're pumped.
At the end of the day, BAYC and the apes that show up every single day to this space and hundreds of other spaces throughout the week,
we've made this culture happen. And I think it makes it a very easy partnership to make happen
when you can literally point in the direction of what we've been doing for the last three,
four years, and obviously Ape Chain for the last seven, eight months, and say,
do you think this aligns? And they're like, absolutely.
And I think that makes it very easy opportunity for us
to kind of make that marriage happen.
So I'm psyched.
I think the three things that we're going to be able
to at least talk about and just share a little bit
is I think Chattery touched upon it,
the premier eight tickets.
We'll have some surprises thrown in there as well.
Think about 60,000 people outside of our club experiencing, obviously, ComplexCon and then a tokenized experience.
And so that's something that we're really pumped about.
How do we bring people on chain?
How do we surprise and delight people through a tokenized experience that happens on ApeChain?
That's something that we're pumped to do.
And of course, we'll be working on potentially a really good booth front and center, a real world showcase of ApeChain's tech and our culture as well.
I can't wait. Yeah, and the one thing I was going to add there is, like, I think the thing that I respect so much about talking to that complex team is, like, you know, very transparently, they're like, we're not, we don't take on partners just for the check.
Like, they're all about making sure it aligns with their ethos and aligns with, like, making the best experience for the fan every day and the best experience for the guests.

You can go on the site now and double check that it's all working. You got your apes and mutants in there or whatever. Apes will get a 15 minute headstart and then mutants can join in right after
and you'll just get in a queue first come first serve. And the way it's going to work with the
complex con pieces, we're still working through how the tickets get distributed.
But just get your ticket early.
The first 1,200-some people who get an ApeFest ticket will just get a complimentary ComplexCon ticket.
And we'll sort that out in the coming months.
And anybody who doesn't get one that's free can buy one at a discounted price.
It's going to be more than half off what the
normal ticket is. And plus ones will be able to purchase one at that discounted price too.
So plus ones and everybody will be able to come in the ape only line to get in there. Cause I mean,

Ape Fest is going to be a highlight moment for us, not just as individuals who are finally
getting to be a part of it for our community, for our industry. But looking at what you did at Staple and what we got to be a
part of, Juan has this vision, I think, for how our company intertwines with the ecosystem. But
the way that you guys have really put together so many different brands, so many different
ventures into this and how early the chain is, It's, um, it's pretty exciting. Um, so anyways, yeah,
I just wanted to jump up and say, it was really great to meet all of you guys that we got to meet
in New York city. Um, and just, we were amazed at how first class that event was. Um, you know,
your team is second to literally none when it comes to events. We've always watched on the timeline from a distance
and been like, holy shit, that's insane. And so to get to now be a part of it and to bring our
brand and everything that we can offer is something that we're really, really, really looking forward
to. And they're masters and wizards at the wheel. So it was super fun to get to meet all of you guys.
And it's first class
all the way. Everything from the minute we stepped off the plane in New York City,
everything was first class. We got to do like this whiskey and sake tasting with Juan. And
then we got to meet a lot of you guys at the Staples thing. And Josh was there and Tiger and
all you guys. We really felt like we were part of the community.
And getting to meet like Spend and Lost in person, it really is crazy when you get to meet all these folks in person.
And no longer does it feel like apes are out of reach.
You know, I've mentioned this before that sometimes in the past it felt like, man, they're so far.
Like the industry maybe puts you on a pedestal
and sometimes to the detriment
where people maybe feel like intimidated.
But all of the things that you guys are doing
has really opened it up to, I think,
every person who maybe felt that way.
And I think they feel like,
I think we feel like the community here is so welcoming
and warm and every single person packs such a punch when it comes to, you know, their voice,
their influence in the space and, and definitely like the genuine, um, like the real reason of
being a part of the industry. Um, so there, there is no better place. I don't
think if you're a digital collector, uh, if you want to be a part of a real community and it's
just been so fun to, to get, to be a part of it and to get, to, to like start to be ingrained.
And, um, yeah, it, it feels like, you know, they say, you know, go and stay where you're grown or

because I actually went to Lisbon and came back and bought my ape
because of the experience I had there.
And so I'm really, really excited.
But I just wanted to, having spent a little bit of time now working with the guys at Ape Chain,
I helped them with the Cool Kicks activation that they've been running and a few other things. most excited here because like outside looking in apes have always delivered the best experience
in web3 like for many of you would have been there lucky you uh but like from the outside
looking in the things that you guys did in new york around nftnyc and the ape fest that happened in Hong Kong, like, and then having been to Lisbon last year,
like blows my mind what ape chain and Yuga are capable of.
Well, combine that with,
and I'm sure profits would absolutely like attest to this,
just how fucking slick ComplexCon is and how incredible,
like in terms of the collaborations that they have and the presence of like talent
and the way they combine, you know, the kind of the conference side of things
with the more like leisure side of things and then the entertainment side of things with the more like leisure side of things and then the
entertainment side of things like what I love about this is that apes and ape chain are now
going to really like level up in terms of the their what's the word I'm looking for like
people's perception of them being able to hang in these
this arena but also just like the experience that we're going to be able to kind of like
uh latch on to having already done ape fest earlier in the week like i cannot tell you how
excited i am to just go and soak all of that up um So I wanted to come up and just say it.
I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again.
I think that's the perfect energy to wrap up the day with, bro,
is just a sense of excitement and appreciation
and something to look forward to where we all get to fucking hang out,
enjoy our friends, make new friends, experience new things,
create new memories.
Ape Fest is really always an amazing experience.
