I'm so excited and so happy to see everybody here together and spend some time in the spaces.
Hey, Ella. Hey, Barron. I haven't seen you guys in a minute, but I'm so grateful.
We have a lot of things going on, especially incorporating all of the Made by 8 brands that we could, you know, bring together for some things coming up.
I think I don't know if everyone here is
familiar with Stan with crypto is Mason up here or the Stan with crypto account. I am here I have
I've also joined with the same of crypto account, but I've been blessed with a speaking slot here.
So thank you to the hosts to having me on on this amazing space. I love, you know, that you are,
Mason is head of community for Stand With Crypto.
And if you can kind of share with the Ape community
a little bit about what Stand With Crypto is for
and why we're doing what we're doing
with all of the Ape community members.

And again, thank you all for welcoming me into your space.
Yeah, so I mean, I'm sure some of you guys are familiar with Stand Up Crypto.
Obviously, we've been, we played a big role in the election last year.
We have partnerships with various other crypto companies.
So they'll put our logo in their app and click to sign up.
But we are an advocacy hub to be the voice of all the crypto users, all the crypto builders, founders on Capitol
Hill. So our job is to make sure that this whole community and every other crypto community that's
like it has a say in what's happening in Washington, D.C., and is able to hold their elected officials
accountable and make sure that they do what we want them to do as far as representing our community,
our interests, and make sure that America is a good place for crypto to grow, thrive, and for
all types of creativity and innovation to flourish. I know that since you guys are part of,
like, one of, if not the leading NFT community, you understand that in the past there have been
challenges for these types of communities to fully embrace the opportunities that are presented, whether it be like licensing the different brands or fundraising of NFTs or creating these different types of organizations with the technology.
We just want to make sure that the country is the best place in the world to do that type of thing.
type of thing. And at the same time, we want to just support all the communities and make sure
everyone feels like they're empowered and they're able to have an impact and that their government
really represents them. So it's been a real pleasure growing the community around the country.
And Ms. Nifty here is amazing. She's running the California chapter. So part of what I'm doing is
finding people in different states to become a community organizer and mobilize all the different crypto.
There's a bunch of different niches in different states.
You got your Bitcoiners, you got your NFT people, you got your DAO people.
Just get them all together.
We love to support meetups.
We have to support conferences and just anywhere that we can show the world that the crypto voter and the crypto user is like a force to be reckoned with.
We're trying to be there and we're trying to highlight them because like people know that the technology matters, especially now that we have such a pro crypto government.
Everyone knows the technology matters.
They love it.
They know about it.
But a lot of people are skeptical that the crypto voter or the crypto user is a powerful constituency or they're people that really matter.
And I think everyone here knows, you know, we matter like we we need to show the world and every politician needs to look and see, oh, my gosh, these people are everywhere in the country.
And we need to make sure that we treat them right.
And we're embracing the future.
So that's kind of a little spiel there.
If you go to standardcrypto.org, you can see some of the tools we offer. It's like an advocacy suite. There's phone banking tools, email banking
tools, and we have a very fun thing. It's a database of every politician in America and
what they've said about crypto, and we score them A to F. So again, thank you so much for having me.
I'm very excited that Made by Ape brands are going to be participating in our scavenger hunt
tomorrow. That's one of the coolest things about the ape community is the way that it fosters
entrepreneurship within it. I don't think I've ever seen that to this extent in any other
organization, any other thing in my life. So it's really exciting that Ms. Nifty was able to make
able to make this connection here.

Hey! I'm so excited. Thank you. Yes, I just want to say, you know, I've been in the community for a few years and definitely had fun helping to build Ladies at BAYC and focus on educating inner city communities and students
and youth all across the United States about Web3, AI, and financial literacy. And, you know,
some of you guys, a lot of you guys in the community have supported these events that I've
put on to make sure that we are fulfilling what I think is our social responsibility
for the next generation of Web3 builders and change makers. And so me stepping into the role
as president for California empowered me to be able to be more supportive of the people that
have always been supportive of me throughout the years, especially in this community
that I so greatly appreciate.
And so we have a lot of the members on stage right now,
Forever Famous, with Bored Munchies,
consistently over the years has volunteered
to not just provide Bored Munchies to all of the students
at all of the events for the youth,
but also pick up the boxes, also drive me around when deliveries did not come into town in Miami
or in New York, you know, wherever we were in whatever city we were doing this for the kids.
He has been there when I didn't have financial support and funding. And, you know, and when I
do have the opportunity to,
I wanna make sure that I highlight and I uplift
and I give back to do my part as well.
And Jean, who's also on the stage,
when we hosted board in LA during Ape Fest Hong Kong,
you made sure that we had all of the ape water
and products and the event was outstanding.
We had a refrigerator full the ape water and products and the event was outstanding. We had a refrigerator
full of ape water and products. And once again, you know, right on time, we will have those products
at the Web3, the first ever Web3 with all of the Made by Apes products we could find in California
at this time to be in San Diego. I think it is going to be an amazing event.

released yet, but they're going to be claiming Bitcoin, Sui, ApeCoin. So this is not just that

amazing events and for web 3 as a whole and i have a question for mason what what has the
the temperature been like on like capitol hill i know finally we have an actual crypto friendly
administration but i always i've some i've been somebody who've all who's always
like try to rally the troops in web3 because we spend so much time and a ton of money on frivolous
nonsense and i'm like man if we actually pulled some funds together and like started lobbying for
crypto like you know we could have gotten a lot further in the past versus, you know, versus the achievements that we've been able to actually accomplish in the space.
Hopefully now in the next four years, things will get easier for us because of the administration.
But what's what's your I'd love your feedback on what's the reception and the temperature like on Capitol Hill?
Yeah, I have good news for you because it has never been better.
It is the complete opposite of, I mean, you can look at it piece by piece, right?
So if you even look at the SEC, just like one part of the whole puzzle,
you compare the new SEC chair who got confirmed yesterday
to our favorite celebrity, Gary Gensler.
The SEC chair, Paul Atkins, the new one,
he, quote, said in his hearing that his top priority is supporting crypto and supporting digital assets and making a framework for it to thrive in America. So like, he's explicitly just
saying, I support you guys, which is amazing. And so that's just one piece of it.
But you have top to bottom an entire government that at least cares about us or at least cares about the technology.
So that's the Senate, the House, the White House, the president.
You have judges that are obviously judges are nonpolitical, but there have been victories for things like
tornado cash, where they have to take that off the sanctions list because they now understand
that smart contracts are independent operating entities. They aren't property and you can't
sanction them in the way that they were doing it. So that's a win for privacy. In the White House,
you've got specific crypto councils being formed. So there's new roles privacy. In the White House, you've got specific crypto councils being formed.
So there's like new roles that are in the White House, like David Sachs is the crypto czar, but also Bo Hines.
He's the director for I think it's like President's Committee on Digital Ashes or something.
And this guy every week, every day, what he's doing is meeting with crypto founders and builders and users and just learning about it and trying to find ways
to support it. So like even last week, there was like people from Ethereum, Denver that went up
and they had a meeting with him. And the week before, it's like people from the Bitcoin miners
and stuff like that. So it's just across the board, people are listening. I think that the
real change is there's like good faith efforts to understand what's going on.
And then if you even look further, a lot of the cabinet secretaries as well, they're really into crypto as well.
So it's kind of just like, I joke, we're like a crypto government now.
We're in all of the right places.
And Congress is, you know, they aren't super collaborative all the time,
obviously, but where they do collaborate is on crypto bills. Like we saw a bipartisan win last
night where they removed something called the DeFi broker rule, which would essentially have
made DeFi illegal in America, would have required all DeFi brokers, or they're called, they were
calling them brokers, but DeFi front ends, DeFi platforms would have to report taxes on all their users, which is literally impossible when these are decentralized, anonymous systems.
You're supposed to collect everyone's information and report that to the government. That's not possible.
So that would basically have banned DeFi, and that got removed. The president signed that into law. It's gone.

And it was a bill that was supported by both Democrats and Republicans. And I would expect
us to see stablecoin laws passed within the next few months. And that's hugely popular among
Democrats and Republicans. And the president himself has requested that that law gets made.
I would expect market structure, which is what was really
important last year. It was under the name of FIT21. That was also a bipartisan effort to
establish a regulatory framework, aka rules for the road, whatever you want to call it,
that would allow crypto as an industry to basically be sanctioned as like, we support this,
this is legal, here are the rules, now game time, go out and build, you know, so that we also are hoping for this year as well.
And I don't know, I mean, you say that you, you, you like wish that you had gotten more,
I think you said something about like rallying people to like lobby or whatever on behalf
of crypto, like one, I would love to talk to you after this call and see how we can
collaborate between our
communities. But two, you can be happy to know that that's happening. It's been happening and
it's paying off. But we have to keep up the pressure. Our role, I guess, as community
builders is just to keep building the momentum of who cares about this stuff, like keeping our own communities
engaged, making sure that we're doing meetups and we're showing our faces and the world is seeing
that we matter. And then you can also go after state level wins, state policy wins, which are
happening. You have Bitcoin reserve bills, they're progressing across the country. You've got like,
then I'm going to Wisconsin next week to talk to some people there about
they're setting up a regulatory sandbox there for, you know, people in the state to innovate
on how to improve the government of blockchain and stuff like that.
But there's a real, it's like a tidal wave of enthusiasm and momentum right now for crypto.
And I personally, I'm just just like this is the moment and i like i talked to all these great
community builders but also these great founders and people that really you know we've been talking
about how important crypto is for years we're like crypto can improve this crypto can fix this
and so what i'm really hoping for and what i am excited to see is with these like the
the door is wide open now it's like I am excited to see people sprint and and make
those promises of crypto reality and and show the world that like we we have something to offer to
society so that's what I'm very excited about all that that was a long-winded answer um but I hope
that was there's some information in there that was new to you and valuable. And I want to add to that, just literally, we got news this morning
that the SB265 has passed in California
that our friend Scott Fu participated in writing,
and it's to revise cryptocurrency laws
to create Financial Freedom and Innovation Act.
So congratulations to him, and that's another step forward.
And after this event in San Diego,
we are going to be hosting a reception after a legislative meeting to talk to
to talk to the people in Sacramento.

about anything else going on in D.C.,

who's another fellow ape in the community.
It's just a story about just the power of the community and just wanted to recognize him because he's such a dope ape and he doesn't get a
lot of shine on the timeline. He's, he's more reserved. And I would just want to,
you know, give him some flowers real quick. But so we, LA Apes, we, we did,
you know, we wanted to do a meetup a couple weeks ago, maybe,
maybe last month or something, but we did a bowling night,
ended up getting, you know, 10, 15 apes out there. And, you know,
he was there and we were talking about, you know, ape water.
And he was talking to me about his new gig doing bar operations for this company.
And he was telling me the events that he was doing this stuff for.
And he was like, yeah, we were F1 in Vegas.
We're doing F1 Miami, doing World Cup, like events all around the world, too.
And I find out he's not just, he doesn't just work there.
He's like, he's a big wig.
He's like big shit over there, right?
So they have different kinds of events, and he only manages the big ones, right?
And he's got the CEO, he's in the CEO's ear all the time,
and he talks about apes to him constantly.
He's to the point where he he
wants the company to buy an ape and have that be like be their official logo and stuff um but like
that's how passionate he is about apes and like spread spring that like energy and the love and
it's it's just incredible so anyways we're talking about you know getting ape water at their next
event which was um this h&m h&m was launching their like spring summer collection and they're
they're launching um doing a big party in la um renting a huge facility basically like a like a
one-day festival essentially and you know we talked about it like yeah that'd be great that'd be fun
and you know i talk about stuff like this all the time but you know it usually never comes to fruition and then two weeks later you know nothing nothing comes of it i just figured you
know it's just like all the other stuff you just kind of forgot whatever but then and then he texted
me out of nowhere absolutely okay can you talk to my colleague about this um and i was like yeah
yeah sure let's let's do it let's jump on the call and then he forgot to tell me that his colleague was the ceo
of the company and so i'm like they're like surprised as hell not knowing um not knowing
what's what and then you know he was telling me about who's performing like dochi and who i
recognize but i he said some other names like um uh jamie xx and i didn't, I didn't honestly hand to God, I didn't know who he was
because I'm a boomer, but apparently he's, he's like big shit. And so I ended up like, I don't
know, I guess like unintentionally like negging this guy. And so maybe, maybe that's why we got
the deal because we were going up against like boss and San Pell and he's like, we're these ape
water guys, you know? And so anyways, long story short, I connect
them with, um, with RCO and then, you know, they go back and forth. They, and then wild shit,
they end up knowing each other from a past life. Like they're both from Australia. They both worked
at the same company. Um, they both know the, obviously the founder of this, of the company.
And so it was kind of wild, that connection.
But it was just kind of like the perfect thing.
So anyways, like I said, long story short, we end up signing a deal to be the exclusive still water partner for the entire event, 15,000 cans.
It's like, I don't know, eight, nine pallets.
And it was, you know, it's a big deal.
Like for a company our size, that's a big deal.
And the fact that it was organized through, you know, just another fellow ape in the community being so bullish and like wanting to help another, you know, ape out.
I just love that.
Love that piece. You know, we got to the event. We got, like, VIP treatment, all the wristbands, everything, you know what I mean?
Like, backstage, all kinds of access, free food, free drinks.
And Temu just, like, hooked us completely up.
Nana, who's, I think, in the stage, he came with me.
And he can attest to just, like, the experience, man.
So it was just a dope event and just, like just a dope story that I wanted to share with everybody.

said, it's, it opens up the hood, opens up the, lets people get a peek inside. Otherwise I feel

Honestly, I literally just got back from like a month vacation vacation workation in Mexico.
So right now I'm just like enjoying being back in America to be honest.
And but also because we're like talking about some of the projects that we're excited about
we're excited about and like people who are directly and indirectly involved in our community.

One of the groups, I know you guys, a lot of you guys are familiar with Jesse Bryan,
Mikey Anderson. They're part of like, they're like, they're really huge, huge advocates for
AI agents and how this should be decentralized and not controlled by corporations by being
able to control and own that yourself.
So one of the projects that they're working on right now, it's called Think Agents or Think AI.
And that's been pretty exciting. They were just on, Mikey was just on Captain Spaces this morning.
So if you'd like to learn a little bit more about that, that was a great space to just kind of listen to what it's about.
That's one of the projects that's like not NFTs that's on my radar and I just wanted to kind of share it's about. That's one of the projects that's not NFTs that's on my radar,
and I just wanted to share it with the group. That's why I ask other people what they got
going on, because there's always so much going on, and you could be plugged in and miss something
enormous that's happening right next to your one click away. You just didn't realize it. I'm seeing
all these new things on the timeline
I feel like I missed out on.

Damn, like, you know, this Dockman and fam,
you know, just kind of got me in tears over here man
that's such a beautiful thing and it's a good you know example of how for some people it's a daily
thing but you know it's changing lives too you know and um you know i've even heard stories of
the froglings changing people's lives just by being able to, you know, like you said,
it was like 0.1 ape.
And then, you know, I mean, that's kind of just something to think about.
And I think that that accessibility of ape chain is changing people's lives, even on
a scale that may not affect all of us.

I mean, Docman is like the hype man of ape chain.
The guy is has an insane energy and it's
always like he's funny and it's just a great selection. I think he absolutely deserves it
and he's poured his heart into it. So I did want to say that, but I also wanted to say that I do
Ape Chain spaces every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And so Monday I had James Hall, the head of engineering at Yuga, talk about we dropped all the alpha on his new upcoming project, Mintators, which was amazing.
And then Wednesday I had on the show the founder of Introverse and Jungle Kings.

And then today we had MMWalk from FoxyFam
and they're using Shadows to come over to ApeChain
and the new PP Man login system as well
and integration to OtherSide.
And then on Monday, I have OXQuit coming on the show
again with James Hall to talk about about NFT shadows. So I just wanted
to shout that out because, um, that's huge. And then I have another huge guest next week,
but I can't say yet. Um, but I mean, it's just been, uh, amazing to kind of talk to all these
like innovators and, um, you know, I mean, the stuff that's going on ape chain is like the most exciting
time i've had in nfts and just so many great people so i'm thankful for the club and and uh
and excited to talk about nft shadows on monday and so what i try to do is just simplify you know
complicated stuff in a relatable way um so yeah and then i'm'm doing I got selected for the Made by Apes University.
So I'm part of the cohort, too. And just hearing from, you know, being around, you know, fellow apes and listening to their ideas.
And like you realize, like, holy shit, like all these guys are like awesome builders and like very knowledgeable.
And so I've done my second class. So Monday, Wednesday, Fridays, I do my
spaces and then Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'm with the Made by Ape University. So it's like literally
like my whole week is just around this club. So I just wanted to shout out the open campus people
and that's powered by Ape Chain. So I'm literally living Ape Chain, you know, day in, day out. And
it's just, it's such a pleasure.
