Lucio, you want to introduce yourself and then introduce our exciting guest for today, which I think Tom has a lot of stuff to update us on.
I'm the co-founder of the co-founder of the co-founder of Metapool here with the co-founder of Metapool here with Claudio and the technical side of this, I'm just with the one and zeros, and in reality, the one that can launch a product and create a community and know where are we going is here, my co-founder, Claudio.
So, if you want to say something, maybe you are in better conditions to present, Tom.
Did you just ask me to introduce myself, Lucio?
So, hey, great to have everybody on the Spaces today.
I am co-founder of Animal Ventures and Warburg Sarris and Tomorrow Fund.
We've funded probably some of the top projects in the space.
We've got about 60 projects or so that we've funded.
I can obviously go back into a little bit of a bio longer term, but we were early investors
in a lot of the major layer one networks out there.
First got into crypto back in 2011 when I was the co-founder of a project called Rally.org,
which at the time grew into the largest political fundraising crowdfunding platform in the United
Powered about 70,000 political operations across the U.S. and around the world.
Had a really great opportunity to work with some of the top VCs in Silicon Valley.
And have subsequently been able to apply that knowledge to helping crypto grow.
Got super involved with the Ethereum Foundation way back when.
Dabbled a little bit of Bitcoin.
But I think it was really Vitalik in the vision of Web3 that the Ethereum Foundation brought
to market with sort of Turing complete world computers, basically.
And so, yeah, I've been investing in this space for an incredibly long period of time, backing
everything from Near Network to Polkadot, Dfinity, Flow, Luxo Network, which recently launched.
And then let's see what else.
Ethereum is early investor in Ethereum as well.
So, very, very active and excited to be a backer of Metapool as well, too.
I think it's going to be an incredibly valuable tool and product, especially as we evaluate some of the, you know,
restrictions that are probably going to be coming down just in terms of staking protocols and whatnot.
As we saw more recently with all the crack and crackdowns and, you know, the merging of crypto assets in various
pools and the siphoning and yield generating products that ultimately we're going to probably fail anyways.
And I think liquid staking models are going to be the solution for those kinds of things.
You have been, to be honest with you and with everybody, really, really, really a very good help in all the development of Metapool.
