oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Hello, hello! Can you hear me? Loud and clear, I can hear you. Wonderful, wonderful! Oh my goodness!
Technical difficulties all over the place today. I was in some X spaces earlier today,
and people were getting kicked out, similar to what happened to me last week.
Let us pray that we can get through one show today, at least one show this week, right, Texan? Yeah,
just give me two minutes. Let's have like two minutes. Then we start. Yes,
you're breaking up a little bit as well, so I think we need to take it slow. Do some banter.
I have some updates that I'd like to share, and then we can get into the topic. Of course. Okay.
I'm putting out right now to the Discord on midnight so that they can join us as well,
and and let's just start posting and get people in here. This is a new space.
I had to create it brand new because the other space that I had scheduled never alerted me
that it was on, and it just disappeared.
So I wasn't able to log into that. So hopefully we can get people in this space.
Can you still hear me, Stan? How are your technical on your end? Yeah, I can hear you, Chaya.
Quite clear. Okay. Okay, great. Well, I just posted in one of the Discord channels
for Nightforce to come and join us. Have you shared this? Hiya, have you shared this link
in the Discord? Yes, I did. I just posted it in the Bravo Discord so that hopefully Nightforce
from there will come.
And I'm about to post it on X. Yeah, sure, but you can post on Recruits. On recruits, sure,
absolutely. Yeah, yeah. Can you guys hear me? Yes. Hello. Oh, X is glitchy as hell today. Hi.
It's absolutely incredible. Last week I couldn't even do a show. I had to cut it
about after 20 minutes because even the audience members were being kicked out. Yeah.
Right now it is reset three times since we've been talking. I've watched it refresh. Hello. Me too.
It's constantly. Hello. Hi. I'm. I can hear you, Hoda Harmony as well.
I'm glad we can hear each other at least. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. Yeah, I almost forgot.
I was like, oh hey. But yeah, it's like glitching out like crazy. Absolutely. I know. Um.
All of my bots were down for a little bit this morning. I think OpenAI was having some troubles.
I don't know what's going on. Oh wow. I don't know. We're kind of waiting for people to get here
because I I set this space and then it disappeared. So I just had to on the fly live recreate
a space so that we would have something because you know people are starting to like our space
and we like to keep it on Thursdays at around the same time, you know, give or take a half hour.
So I'm glad you guys are here. Well, you know, I um I saw it on the events and I joined
and I saw that it had rubbed and I was like shit. So I was actually because I have a space.
We've moved ours to two to Thursdays as well at 2 p.m. Because Wednesdays just was not working for
us. And um anyway, so I was just kind of tweet dropping my links and and Nightforce and stuff.
And I saw that you had just spun it up, so I figured I'd jump in and say hey and. Give you support,
but God, it's making my eyes dizzy the way it keeps refreshing. Looking at this thing, I see it.
Yeah, it keeps jumping. But I'm charging. Too many. Shit, I'm recording myself by accident. Okay.
Um. Yeah, so I'm gonna do it from my um from my phone, MySpace. It too high spec.
Spec is an XRP L guy. We're we're we're trying to get our X spaces going right now,
but we are being glitchy. I'm gonna set this space because it's a brand new space,
so people need a brand new link for it. Yeah, that sucks. That's what I. So I'm really.
That's what I was getting at. I have the head of the XRP L Foundation as my fricking guest today.
I do not need hiccups. He had a space last night with over 400 people in it. So I'm, you know,
just I'm testing right now, testing, testing, and it does not look good.
But I think I'm going to do it from my phone. His he goes by. I don't know much. Okay,
I'll draw the is he is it is he a veteran? Is that why? Is he? I don't know why he goes by that. Oh,
to be honest with you, I'm just. But he is definitely a veteran to the XRP L. He's um.
He's been around forever. He hosts a lot of good spaces. He's a UNL validator.
He just took over XoPL Foundation. We met with them in Brarivo, so the XoPL Foundation and
the Midnight Foundation are going to start trying to do some. That's wonderful.
That's so good to hear. Yeah, it's exciting to see people from other blockchains, you know,
joining Midnight and finding a value in Midnight. That's wonderful. Well, I too. Can you hear me,
Tex? Can you hear? Can you guys hear me? Oh, I think Stephanie rug. She's gone. Oh my goodness. Uh,
can you hear me? Yeah. Yeah. Can we stop now, rolling? Yeah, we are. We are rolling. I mean,
we're recording and we're live. Uh, just a couple of things that I'd like to share, if I could.
Next week, um, I I haven't even gotten a chance to talk to you about this, Dan, but next week,
Thursday, at the time that this show is going on, I will be in Washington D.C. Meeting
with different senators and different policymakers on the ground there in preparation for
the Clarity Act. Presenting for a cloture vote on September fifteenth. So,
this is this this coming week is is very very monumental, so to speak.
I I am president of Stand With Crypto for the state of North Dakota, where I represent
about five thousand crypto enthusiasts that are registered with us. And so,
it's important for me to to And present crypto to the public that might not know about
the blockchain space in a fair manner. And I definitely take with me to Washington
and everywhere that I go the values and ethos of Midnight and Cardano.
And I personally take a more neutral position. And I just want people.
I think that it's it's good that Washington and and people in And you know,
outside of the Web3 space, are taking an interest in crypto and the emerging technologies that
we have in this space. So, in that respect, I think it's good. I tend to take
a more neutral position with regards to the Clarity Act, and I'm just excited to be representing
and and educating people that are policymakers in Washington. About crypto because a lot
of them don't have a very firm grasp of the implications and and exactly what it is
that we're doing in this space. But we live it every day, and and so we're familiar with it.
But I mean, you can see midnight and the developments in midnight are are evolving at
a breakneck speed, and and it's it's even difficult for us who do it every day
and are involved every day on the front lines to keep up. So I think that these spaces
are important. Having representation in Washington is important, and I'm I'm very I'm
excited to play a role in that. I just wanted to share that. Yeah. Oh, that's super exciting. Yeah.
And I wish you the best. Go preach and you preach Midnight Gospel. Yeah. Absolutely.
And representing Midnight and Cardano is the underlying foundation of everything that I do.
So I hope to make you guys proud as well. That's super exciting. I'm trying to share a post
about our space right now. Thank you. I had my mic muted. I was like, Oh man,
listen to you talk about that. I was like, Heck yeah, go get it. I mean, that's how it.
That's how it. That's how it. You know, gets done and get down the ground. We have to. Yeah.
As midnight night force, our voices are very important to the education of the public as a whole
in our respective communities online. What we're doing echoes what's what's going on in Washington
in a very real way. And where it's it's exciting for all of us to be in this position as night force
and as people in the crypto community, we get to shape the narrative. We get to decide.
What happens, and and I want to make sure that we're always empowered to do so as a community.
Absolutely. How so? How would like? I'm down in Florida. How would I get involved?
Like what you're doing? There are Stand With Crypto chapters in most states, I think, if not all.
Definitely, Florida is is a state that you can just go to Stand With Crypto. Org. Go to the website
or just Google Stand With Crypto. And you'll you'll come across a ton of information
of different activations happening and different events happening in all all over the country. So
if you want to get involved, I'd I definitely think that it it may be worth your while,
and you get to meet local people, which is great. I host events in the state of North Dakota.
I host coffees. I'm getting ready to host educational stuff, and definitely activating people
to just get educated about crypto in a non-judgmental way. For stand with crypto,
I kind of put my midnight hat and my Cardano hat on the back burner. Because you know,
due to that position, I do have to make sure that everyone from all blockchains feel included,
and so I encourage anyone from all blockchains. But of course, I have that bias
and that soft spot where I always do end up sharing about midnight and and sharing about Cardano.
So yeah, I'm I'm I would think that keep me posted. Let me know if you
if you get hooked up with people from Stand With Crypto in Florida. I'd be interested. Yeah, well,
I just signed up on the website. I'm going to drop a link in the comments here.
You've got a lot of like static sound on your mic. I'm not sure. It may be just X or something.
I think it is because I hear you the same way now. You're staticy. Gotcha.
Maybe the AI is taking over, and that's the end of that. So one of the things that Sam
and I were talking about. Yeah, maybe if you can. It's just a. It's a clarification
I would like to get from your side. Is I've been seeing the standard. Crypto on X,
but is it only initiative which is taking place in the US? Or it's a global thing? Well,
but it's in the US. They're they work with policymakers in the US. I don't believe that it's global
at this time because we just we're focusing more on US policy. But that's a good question,
and I'll check into if there's any incentive on a global scale that would be interesting. Fantastic.
You're also breaking up very much. I think our our audios are just really bad. Do you hear me well,
or am I also breaking up? Yeah, I think it's everybody. I'm not sure. It's got to be.
It's got to be the space. Yeah. I think. I think. I know one of our night fours. In
the last like 30 minutes, I was trying to assist another midnight guy who was doing
his first express, but it was too bad. Same here. Yeah, I I was trying to be there. Was that DC Dog?
I was trying to be there for yeah, DC Dog. He he had to re-launch his space several times
and it didn't work. What time was that? You guys, right before this one,
like maybe 30 minutes before this one, he was still trying and he couldn't. You know what, guys?
Before jumping into the topic, we can kind of make out what we're talking about
because we're just bantering right now. But I don't know. It might be too difficult to have
an actual space with an actual topic since we're breaking in and out. What do you guys think? Yeah,
it could be the first podcast for robots. It sounds like robot speech. Unbelievable. All right.
Robotic voice. Yeah, but I think we we are audible enough, and yeah, we can go ahead with the topic,
talk about it, and people who are on, I mean, who are listening the record version,
hope they won't have hard time listening to us. It's it's really on my end, Stan.
It's really too bad. It's really too low quality to do a show, an entire show. Total harmony.
Are you are you hearing what I'm hearing? It's it's really pretty bad. Yeah, it's difficult to hear.
I'm just wondering if it may just be the transmission, and then you know maybe the recording
is fine, but I don't really know. No idea until we end it and watch it back. Okay, I think. Okay,
hi Eva. I'm too. Yeah, we might have to do it next time if we feel the quality is bad. Yeah,
you're really bad, Stan. I I don't. I wouldn't be able to do a show with with you for sure.
And Hodel Harmony, you you're a little bit better, but not much. Yeah, unfortunately. Yeah.
Oh my gosh! Okay, well, due to technical problems, I think we're gonna have to end this
and and try again next week or the week after. If I if I'm you know, Stan
and I will work it out because I will be in Washington next week. But thank you all so much
for coming. It is X. Our spaces are all rocking this morning, unfortunately.
But thank you for the support.
I really appreciate seeing each and every one of you. And we, bye guys. Bye. Bye. Bye.
