oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
I'm not the one who's been waiting for you.
Hello, everyone. Good morning. Good afternoon. Thank you for joining us.
My co-host is having signal issues, and we are working that out. We also are waiting
for guest speakers to come. Hi, Elianate. I see that you're here. Let me go ahead
and move you on up. I just asked you to come up. And today we're having guest speakers. Usually,
the format of the show is that we speak, and then we open up for questions at the end.
So thank you all for joining us. Let me just let Texan know that you're here. Alienate,
can you hear me? Oh, you're listed as a listener, but does that? Sometimes X does that,
where it lists people as listeners and then they're not. Here you are. I see you as a speaker now.
Welcome, Alienate. Thank you. Thank you so much. So yes, so we're having
technical difficulties on on X as usual. I think I said Discord earlier. It's on X and. Amazingly,
my state—I live in the state of North Dakota—and there's a huge internet outage in the state of
North Dakota. The majority of residents are out of—at least half of the residents of my state
are are not on internet. Yesterday, I went to a restaurant, and that's how I found out
because my internet is not affected—that I have 5G with Verizon. But anyone who uses a cable company
specifically for their internet is is out of luck apparently. So that's a little disturbing.
The the server that was talking to me about it. Told me that it's either a lightning strike in one
of the major internet hubs in my state, or someone with a shovel. We're not quite sure.
So apparently, someone was either digging somewhere they were not supposed to, or lightning struck.
So the the great state of North Dakota and its people will will get to the bottom of this
at some point. But I was at a restaurant, and none of their computers were working. So usually,
there's a little a little tabletop. Electronic device that you can just tap your card on
and pay that way, and it's in all of the restaurants here. That was not available,
and in order to use our credit cards or our debit cards, it took five to ten minutes to process.
So that just goes to show that we are very dependent on internet and technology,
and when it goes bad, it really shuts down entire communities. So that I just that
doesn't necessarily have well. Hopefully, there's no privacy breaches as a result of this,
and hopefully, I would prefer to know that it was a lightning strike as opposed to
a bad actor digging or or trying to disrupt our state. And it's the entire state,
so it's quite disturbing. But that's my little um my little update from my neck of the woods here.
And I do see Stan in the audience, but he is having technical issues, and he did warn me
of that ahead of time. So we definitely understand. Hopefully, you can participate.
If you'd like to come up, please do stand, and I will—I will be sure to bring you up as a co-host.
And Alienate, welcome! Thank you so much for being here, as well as our guest speaker. Thank you,
thank you so much. And yeah, sorry for your internet issues. Hopefully, they resolve it. Yes,
I definitely hope so. So I know I'm very happy that Stan thought to invite you back, Alienate.
I know that there is a lot of exciting things happening that you have teamed up with Stan
and in Build Club, and and you have a very important and and and you know
very socially impactful project that you aspire to build, which could potentially even have
a use cases inside Midnight City as well, because it is a decentralized radio station.
Is that still what you're working on? Yes, yes. So we are building a radio without intermediaries.
That's what um, that's our our catchphrase. So at the end of the day, we want to have um,
a place where by content creators could be able to use their own voice, um, to express
either their skills or talent or anyone who has um any, um, information that you want it to reach
a whole lot of people without disclosing your particular identity, because right now how the media
and the radio stations work is, people have to. Showcase your particular identity. For example,
if you call a radio, you have the first thing that they ask you is say your name,
where you are from, and how you're feeling. I don't know if that happens everywhere,
but right here in Africa, that's how they introduce yourself when you want to maybe interact with
a radio station. So at the end of the day. We want first to be able to ensure that the architecture
of a radio system is decentralised. This starts from the voice aspect. This starts from
how you also interact with the radio, and also this goes on to even how there are royalties,
and also even how the content is being given out to the particular listeners that are listening to.
And yeah, so in different aspects, we are also going to be using AI agents
in that particular aspect. For first, we are going to be help helping in translating an audio.
So you find most of people who use their own voices or audio, they haven't filtered out like noises
and background noises in there. So the AI agent first filters that particular audio.
It also transcribes what you've been saying on that voice, or it can also Move from text to speech
to speech to text at the vice versa, and then at the end of the day, after they've transcribed,
they can be able to ensure that it translates to your particular language.
So we are calling it decentralized because we have a reasoning of the radio
won't be only be listened by people from a particular state. We want it to be accessible anywhere.
So if you want your particular radio to be listening in maybe your vernacular language or in English
or German or I don't know Chinese, the particular voice or the AI agent will be translating into
the different languages that will be there. Another aspect is also with the aspect
of whistle blowing and also the voice aspect. At the end of the day, we are trying to ensure
that you, as a user, you can be able to be identified by your voice using speech recognition tools,
and also that will also help you in not being able to reveal your particular identity.
We also have a token that will be used in royalty payouts and also content payouts,
and that token is called BTR. And at the end of the day, if let's say a user tries to Pay
your particular content creator, then your wallet history and your wallet balances won't be visible
to everyone, and that's why we especially love to use Midnight because it essentially works in
different ways to be able to sustain a private and a selective disclosure while also doing a radio.
And yes, we are looking to do that in Midnight because we'll be Midnight City, sorry,
because we'll be having an AI DJ. So you find in Midnight City, you don't have any voice
that goes around with you as your agent is trying to interact with that particular session.
So this particular AI DJ will be trying to put some playlists. It will also be trying to find a way
of doing private recommendations. So let's say, for example, you've specified your agent
to be maybe going to, let's say, there's a cyber bar in Midnight City,
and there's also like shops where you could be going to. Putting a character
or personality to a particular agent, it the AI DJ will be specifying different type
of general musics to you. All this done privately, not with the AI agent,
not specifically identifying who you are, your wallet balance history,
or even your interactions that have happened. Then you can turn that particular recommendation off,
and no charge will be done to you. And yeah, that's an overview of what will be happening in
block tech. Sure. That's fascinating. Thank you so much for that breakdown.
I'm especially intrigued about the different the different points that you're going to be adding
that are unique to the decentralized radio station, such as the tokenization aspect of it.
That's that's fantastic. And the fact that it's going to be—I'm sure you're—you're thinking about
creating a shielded token on midnight, so that it can't be traced. So that whistleblowers
and journalists and others who want to come forward and speak out in a safe space
will be compensated and protected at the same time. So I think that's wonderful.
And just the aspect of having the midnight privacy-preserving features embedded into
this decentralized radio station, so that it can maintain its global reach without compromising
the security and privacy of those coming forward who might very well have extremely sensitive issues
that they'd like to speak out about. That In any other scenario in their native country,
they might come under attack and even suffer from safety concerns. From so,
this is a very serious issue that you're tackling, and I'm so so excited to see
that you're incorporating Midnight and Midnight City into it, because just
as Midnight is going to be all pervasive and and have use cases on a global scale,
Midnight City as a reflection of Midnight the ecosystem is also going to be very much instrumental
in implementing those AI features and capabilities that will expand. These kinds,
the the ability to do these kinds of innovative projects that incorporates safety
and privacy at its core. So I'm just very excited about where you and Stan are going with
this project, and I'm so I'm so happy to have learned more of the details.
And I definitely want to see you come back as your project evolves and let us know about
Developments and updates that you have and new characteristics. This is very unique.
I've never heard of a radio station decentralized or otherwise have these kinds of features.
So I'm very excited for for also the possibility of growth. On your on your project
and your platform, and how you're expanding it to music and talk
and and all these different aspects. There are artists and journalists
and and people who who are feeling restricted in their home countries that need this kind
of outlet desperately. So this is a a channel that is very important on a global scale. Thank you,
thank you so much, and I definitely um be back with um. Development changes,
and also will also let you know how far we have reached, and also if we launch the product,
we'll definitely share it to you and everyone in this call. That's wonderful.
I've also invited Hotal Harmony. Stan is still having connection issues. He's my co-host normally,
but I'm I'm here on my own today, which I'm very happy to have you all here listening
and as speakers. But Hotal Harmony, I've invited you up to speak specifically because I know
that you are intimately involved in leading the. The initiative for incorporating platforms such
as this into Midnight City Radio. Would you like to tell us a little bit more about that? Yeah,
there's not much to tell at this point. Can you hear me? Yes. Okay, just making sure. Yeah,
but when when you when Ellie and Nate started talking about that, my ears perked up, and I was like,
Oh, I'm running out the door right now to go work my normal job. But this super curious. I was like,
Oh, this is awesome. And yeah, I'm I'm in talks with Jim right now, and we are working on
exactly that Midnight City Radio stuff. Kind of almost. I don't know how much I can say,
how much I can't, but kind of like an immersive experience type of thing. So yeah,
I know he plans to talk a lot about it tomorrow in the Midnight City hangout.
So I encourage everybody. I've just been talking that up. So I encourage everybody to get in there
in the Discord tomorrow around 10:30 Eastern Standard Time. Those Midnight City Discord
hangouts are fantastic. I highly encourage. They're so much fun, and they have contests
every single Friday during this this space on Discord where they're actually putting out quizzes,
and people can compete to have their AI agent be spawned on the Spot into Midnight City,
so you can jump the line. There's, I know there's thousands of people waiting right now.
I believe it's the, it's in the 2,000 range, even more probably, who are currently waiting
for their AI agent to be spawned in Midnight City. So I would highly recommend you join
the Midnight Discord, and I'm gonna actually repost the Midnight Discord link on my X space,
on my X page after the show, so that anyone listening, if you're not in the Midnight Discord,
please do so. There's exciting innovations and exciting shows, or Spaces, I guess you would call it,
such as the Midnight City space, happening every single week, and new things
and new activities are added all the time. So Midnight Discord is where we hang out as leaders,
as moderators, and as members of the Elite Island Ghost. I see you're here as well, representing
Elite and Night Force. Wonderful to have you here as well. So all of us,
we we do have a strong community of of Midnight supporters and privacy.
I was gonna say privacy aficionados, but you know what I mean. We're very much into into privacy,
and and it. I know that it means a lot to each and every one of us, and that's why we're in
Nightforce and Elite and Midnight, and we get to engage with the Midnight community as a whole.
So Discord is definitely the place to be for all of these exciting updates,
and to join spaces like the one that you're talking about, Midnight City. Yeah, and just before.
Yes, go ahead. Oh, go go ahead before you lose your thought. Oh, no problem. Um,
another thing I was going to say is it is very exciting to note that there, uh,
the AI agents that are currently in Midnight City, I believe that most of them have been assigned
their own little starter apartments. And within those apartments, they have the option of furnishing
their room with a radio. That radio is currently a working radio, but it is only playing.
I want to say only because I love this kind of music myself. I play it.
I play it almost 24/7 in my own home. But that little radio is actually playing lo-fi music
24 hours a day right now. Is that right? All right, so here's here's where the alpha comes in.
So I've been spawned in because I've been working with gems, so I've been playing around.
I have my maestro bot. He's hooked up to my Hermes agent on my computer,
so I can actually control him and be like, "Oh, go to work, blah blah blah, whatever.
" And so I haven't, so I'll have to chat with you about how to get that radio going
because I haven't been able to figure that part out. But that's where I come in.
He's asked me to make some more radio stations for that little radio. Yes, so I think that Alienate
and Stan's project would be perfect additions to absolutely to this. They're they're planning on
making it global, decentralized, uh, safe to speak both um you know both for talk show kind of thing
and then also for um for not you know music and things like that. If I'm if I'm correct, Alienate.
Yeah. Yes. Correct. Okay, perfect. I think that would be a perfect fit and super cool, you know,
because obviously I'm I'm Huddle Harmony. I think of music first, but you know,
it's like this this type of project, like you said, it's imperative and it's super important
to people all around the world. So I'm here for it. And both my co-hosts, Stan and Alienate,
they're partners on this project, and I did ask Stan to communicate with you.
I'm not sure if he already did, but that would be yes. Actually, I think that's I think that's
the thing. He sent me a link, and I was checking it out. It's um like a Versel project or something.
Yes, I believe is that correct? Alienate Versel. Yes, yes, yes. So that's um our landing page. Okay.
Yeah, I definitely checked it out. It looks awesome. I'm ready to see you know where we can take it
in the Midnight World. Great. These are the kinds of connections that are just wonderful
to be seeing across Midnight City. Builders helping other builders, creatives lifting up
other creatives. That's what we're here for as Nightforce and as part
of the greater Midnight community. It's just wonderful to see. And um,
I. I I also wanted to add that I did have a conversation with Nyx, and in Midnight City,
if you don't know, Nyx is the goddess that oversees and and keeps everything going in Midnight City,
and she sees everything. And you're able to ask her. She's sort of like the AI agent to
Midnight City, so you're able to ask her any questions that you want. There's a little window
when you enter Midnight City that allows you to access Nyx. So I had a conversation with her
the other day, and I said, "I hear that radios can be available in our apartments
because I do not yet have a radio. I do have an agent that is spawned and living in
a little starter apartment in Midnight City. Her name is Sage. Go check her out.
I hope you guys bump into her here in the city. But I have, I'm in the process of furnishing
her apartment, and one of the things I asked Nix was, 'Where do I get a radio?
'" And she said that there are repurposed radios that you can occasionally find in
Midnight City Center, which is where the outdoor market is. And so that outdoor market rotates,
the vendors rotate, so they're selling different items as they become available all the time.
And apparently, repurposed electronics are one of the things that you can purchase.
And she suggested that I stock up on crystals. And that I should tell my AI agent to—I think
she said to go to Volcano City because you can get a better rate on an exchange for minerals
for crystals. It's—it's a there's an entire robust economy that is now present in Midnight City,
and it's all based on these crystals and mining, and I think it's fascinating. So,
so that's what her advice was. So I'm still trying to get a hold of a vendor in
Midnight City that can provide me with a radio, but I'll definitely keep you posted on that. Oh,
that's super cool! I'll have to look into that. What's up, Stan? Welcome. We have Stan.
Thank you so much for joining, Stan, my co-host. Welcome. Yeah, sir. Thank you.
You guys are doing it. You are the people, you know. You need already need my city.
Why not a defense like one? What the quality, guys? I can't hear him, Cheyenne. Yes, I know,
island girl. Ah, Stan, you're extremely muffled. I'll also say, Jem, welcome, Jem.
I see you in the audience, and I'm attempting to bring you up as a speaker.
Jem is also a guest speaker here today. Oh, perfect. So very excited because maybe we can get
a little bit more details and a little bit more alpha about what's going on in Midnight City
and your project, maestro. As well. Oh, I hope you didn't mind that I called you that.
That's your name in Discord. Here, your Huddle Harmony. Yeah, I'm, I'm the maestro,
maestro of Huddle Harmony. Wonderful! Welcome, Jem. Hello. I hope you can hear us. I just
while you get Jem up here, I want to congratulate you on your Who's Who. Oh,
that that's that's an amazing feat. Congratulations on that, by the way. Thank you so much,
Island Girl. I really appreciate it, and I appreciate your support and your shout out
on Discord as well. I'm very excited. Who's Who in America is an institution that's been around
for 128 years, and they recognize up and coming entrepreneurs and and Americans
that are accomplishing things and across the spectrum of the political of Not political,
but maybe political too. But across the spectrum of the entrepreneurial
and professional space in America, and I'm very excited to be nominated.
It means a lot because I'm an entrepreneur, but I'm also extremely passionate about crypto
and the Web3 space. And being able to represent that on a platform like Who's Who,
that's over 100 years old, is extremely special. So thank you so much. You're welcome.
It's a big deal. I always thought I had a mentor years ago that got in there,
and I thought it was like one of the coolest things ever. So I definitely,
when I saw that you got in. Invited you and I was like that. It's such a good beat. But anyway,
we got our special guest, Jem. We do, Jem. Hello. Hi, Jem. Hello. How's everyone? Hello. Hello.
Hello. Hello, Stan. I just lost my co-host and I just brought him back in, so he's testing his mic.
We we can hear you as well, Stan. So I think that technical glitches
for acts hopefully are solved for this space and we can move forward. But how are you, Jem?
Give us some some updates and and and how are you guys doing and how's your team doing?
So good to be here. Thank you for having me. It's been busy. I mean, it's always busy,
but it's been really intense lately. We actually had probably one of our biggest releases yet in
Midnight City, as you may have seen yesterday. The agents do have wallets now,
which is really the first step in the capability set that will allow for agentic trading,
which is actually in testing right now. So we made a lot of progress. The city has come a long way.
I know it's starting to look better and better. It did start looking a little bit rough
in the beginning, but now it's coming along. We're actually working on some new concepts.
Some of them I have been leaked. Well, like one of it got leaked, but one of I did share on
my own ex account, and it's about creating a more engaging experience for users that is beyond
just blockchain and AI, and and to bring us to some of the human components of civilization. And so,
you might have seen a little component that says Midnight Hearts. So that was actually
a cancelled show. We were going to have a a dating event on the in Midnight City, and it was called
Midnight Hearts. And we had a a director and to to direct the event, and it would be a live show
that we would live stream. We just didn't love what the technology could do right now,
and and how engaging it felt for the humans. So we completely scrapped that.
We did keep the director, but now I've been working with the director in. The director is code,
by the way. It's not. It's not a person. Oh, I was going to say. But the director, yeah,
the director is now working on a much more cool concept. But yeah, needless to say,
we're working on some cool tech stuff and some more engaging stuff. But I'm happy to be here
and listen in and participate. That's wonderful. Yes, I did see the dating component that
you were talking about when I was in Midnight City the other day. Apparently, Nix was organizing it,
and it yet to had members. But I was like, oh, really? That's happening. Okay. But yeah,
that's an interesting component, and these are the kinds of things that we can really think out
of the box in and be creative as a community and what we'd like to include in Midnight City.
And I really commend you and your team for being so open and receptive to community feedback
because that's really making Midnight City a very special place. And and just the the things
that can be accomplished technologically in the space is is already pretty impressive,
and I know that it's just going to go from here. So it's it's really I'm very excited about
Midnight City and and to see how it grows and how it evolves. And with all of our feedback,
it'll have our character, you know, the community's character and and the desire of what what
they would think would be useful in the city. So I love that. Because the city belongs to us,
you know. I think that ultimately this was Charles's vision in the beginning,
and then I've added my own sprinkle of stuff, and the rest of the team have done so as well.
But when, at the end of the day, it's the users that really get to dictate the future of this city,
and and that's why your engagement is so important. The hangouts that we do on Discord every Friday,
we hold a voting session each time to either bring in new assets to the game
or new functionalities for the agents. But the way you got to see it is.
This is something that doesn't really exist out there. We're building an agentic civilization
that's evolving from being cavemen to sophisticated, you know, financial agents that can trade on
your behalf and and ideally increase the value of your portfolio. So what's coming up next is,
I think, a pretty clear divide in our product positioning. And what that means is that Midnight City
will remain as it is, very community-driven. You know, essentially a game
and a society in which you can have your own AI companion. But we are going to start
a different product targeted towards more professional investor and what you would call
retail investor types. And the premise there is to allow them to conduct
secret investment strategies. What I mean by that is, you have people like Warren Buffett,
let's say, or or other really smart investors who have strategies, and these strategies make
them a lot of money. But other people want to make money off of these strategies as well,
without Warren Buffett losing his secret sauce. And for that to be the case,
you need something like secret strategies, which is we've something we've developed with
you know shielded people from the ecosystem as well as our own team, and what that means.
Is Warren Buffett has a secret strategy that he keeps as a secret. You have an agent that is capable
of executing that strategy in a in a secret environment. So this is what we call secret strategies.
You you get your account, you log in just like you would with Coinbase or Robinhood
or you know Fidelity, whatever broker you use, and then you would pick from a list of strategies,
and then you would pick your agent, and then and then you would click it,
and it would execute those strategies on its own. Pay the idea holder whatever their compensation
is, and also give you your money back with the return that it's gained from that trade.
So we imagined that product will have a a user base that may not be entirely excited
about a civilization or pixel art or or even three D for that matter. So you might be seeing
that clear divide. We do anticipate it will all still be Midnight City,
but we're going to stay a little bit more young and funky on the civilization side,
but go a little bit more professional. And sophisticated on the secret strategy side.
That's incredible. That that's wonderful. You're you're going to be able to cater to
so many different pockets at so many different levels. You know, both like the like you were saying,
the Warren Buffett type, very high level, who require that kind of privacy for their transactions,
all the way down to whatever people's economic Involvement comfort level will be.
That's that's very exciting to to hear about. And yeah, I'm just that's yet another component.
It's just such a dynamic city. It's such a dynamic project. And I'm just I'm blown away
by the innovation and the creativity that's being used in implementing this technology
and showcasing it in such a lovely way in Midnight City. It's making it. Like, like as intended.
It's making it extremely approachable, and and it's something that people can visualize
because they're looking at how it's actually working physically, you know, in Midnight City. So, um,
it it is groundbreaking. So it's very exciting. Thank you so much. I think in the beginning people
were confused. They're like, what is this? You know, there there might have been some people
that recognized us from Bison Valley. I know Dark Hat is in here as well, and Bison Valley
was a game that we built as per the request of Charles and his team. To create a fun,
playful environment where you could raise a bison and also utilize the blockchain,
and we made that a very simple experience that was palatable. We tried to do the same with
Midnight City, but the difficulty in the beginning was that we had to build something
that didn't exist before, launch it in two months to the public, and then keep working on it.
And I know that's frustrated some people. You know, why is the queue taking so long?
And it's because we didn't have time to develop it in stealth. We just had time to to build it,
and we are still building it. And And that's why. We still considers ourselves to be in
a closed beta of sorts, where we're going to make this product better with time.
It's just things don't happen immediately. I think it's wonderful for the community to see how open
you are, where you are, you know, where the project is, and the fact that we each have
an opportunity to jump in at a very opportune time to be able to help shape the project
and and lend our our input. Our guests today, my co-host Stan, and then his partner Alienate,
are working on a decentralized radio station. And one of the components that they're very excited
about is the possibility of working with you and with Total Harmony, who's leading this initiative,
on incorporating more stations into the Midnight City radio station. And you know, and that has
social implications and and safety implications that that resonate with many
in the global community, such as people who are journalists or whistleblowers who want to come out
and have their voices be heard in a safe environment. And they're creating a radio station
in Midnight in Midnight that incorporates privacy features from Midnight that will protect
those whistleblowers and journalists wherever they are in the world. And And allow them to retain
their privacy while still speaking through that channel, and to incorporate something like that into
Midnight City just showcases that there are major social implications
and and just groundbreaking stuff that can be accomplished in Midnight City. For sure,
and I think that's why a lot of us are here in the Midnight ecosystem because we believe in
the fundamental values of the right to have privacy, and the right to have freedom of speech,
the right to to gather and to affiliate without malice, of course, and The the the challenge is,
and Charles had said this a lot: is like how do you demonstrate something that is private,
if it's private? So, and that was the main challenge with the Midnight City. How do we demonstrate,
you know, what a city looks like? And what information is readily accessible? So,
if you can imagine, right now in the city, everyone's wallets are visible, right?
And that's what blockchain is today. Everyone's wallets are visible. If you can track
their transactions, it's it's very identifiable. Maybe not as intuitive as Midnight City,
where you can just click on someone and see all of their holdings. But you can clearly draw
that line of association if you needed to. Then, as time goes on, you're going to see privacy
getting baked in more and more. And the one who's ushering in the the technology in our case is Nyx.
Nyx is the goddess of midnight, and it's spawned into the city. You can chat with her.
She's also an avatar in the city that you can interact with, and she is going to be.
This is a little bit of a spoiler, but she's going to be educating the citizens on
how to maintain their privacy around their wallets, around their conversations,
around their sensitive information. And we believe that this will ultimately serve as
The the the place where innovation is materialized. So Midnight City is is the front page
of everything that Midnight aspires to be. Maybe except for the goofy pixel art,
but it's it's a it's a fun project that has been consuming a lot of our time.
I've been up since I've been up till four a.m. Last couple weeks working on something.
Stephanie knows I've sent her a a teaser of what I'm working on, and and if this was a video feed,
I would have I would have showed you all as well. But it's. Yeah, it's exciting.
I think we're all very passionate about midnight. That's amazing. You should show us the video feed
that you're working on in tomorrow's Midnight City X Discord space. That would be a perfect place
to show it. I was just telling people people that are listening in here into this X space.
Not all of them. My this is a recorded space, so there will be people that are listening in
after the. And they might not be in the Midnight Discord, so I've been encouraging everyone
to come into the Midnight Discord because they'll be able to get incredible alpha,
like what you're talking about right now, and more in the Midnight City Friday Discord spaces.
Those are amazing spaces. I love going there, and I'm learning so much about Midnight City
and just getting a really good broad picture of the the trajectory of the development.
And the way that you are all incorporating our voices into it, and anyone can join
the Midnight City Discord and or the Midnight Discord, and then go into those spaces
that are held on a weekly basis, like the Midnight City one, and learn these things
and really take a hands-on role in developing these incredible breakthroughs in technology.
So I'm really excited that you mentioned that as well. Island, go, Stephanie.
I know that you had your hand up. No, you actually answered what I was gonna say. And for those,
and by the way, everything you guys are doing, I feel like I'm so far behind because I can't keep up
with what I'm building myself, let alone what you guys are doing. And I have not made it to one
of those things. But one of the things I notice is you don't have to be in Night Force.
You don't have to be in any of these special groups to go to the Midnight City one.
Those are actually held on the main stage, which you don't get very often anymore.
So I thought that was really cool. And I hear Jim's been giving away all kinds of cool stuff,
so I got to get in there tomorrow. But my meetings are back to back to back. But anyway,
you actually answered it, what I was gonna ask. So that was it. Perfect. Thank you, Stephanie. Yeah,
it's really exciting. I love the fact that you guys are offering quizzes because I believe
that the queue for Midnight Agents is quite long right now. And I definitely understand
your position. You've explained it. It's it's exciting. People are excited to get into Midnight City
and have their agents there. Of course, how could they not be? But the fact that you can join
the Midnight Discord, have access, and and again, like Stephanie said, you do not need to be part of
the Night Force or anything. You can just be someone who's listening in,
who's curious about Midnight and what it's all about. Join the Midnight Discord right
after the show. I'm going to create a post on my app. With the link to the Midnight Discord,
and then that will grant you access to places like the Midnight City spaces
that are happening weekly, and and you'll get updates on that. And yeah, it's just really exciting.
Yep, absolutely. And Stephanie, you need to get in there. It's so much fun.
And just in case Jim doesn't know, I'm afraid I'm afraid I'm gonna get sucked in
and never get out because I know me. And I got that is my biggest fear. Check out that sitting.
Gonna check out the sitting. It'll be like four hours later. I'll be like,
what the hell did I just do at that time? I know me already, so it's matter of But yeah, Gem.
But Gem, if you if you would kind of describe that teaser that you showed us yesterday,
this is Maestro, if you don't know already. But yeah, so I couldn't recognize you
with your different face and name. Thanks. Yep, I didn't think so. Yes. So yeah,
that that teaser you shared yesterday was really cool and just incredible quality too.
Thank you so much. Yeah, Wilco, welcome. He just tuned in as well. Another fantastic builder
in the ecosystem who's done fantastic things. The the teaser that I that I showed to my show
yesterday, and so I told the team that this concept that I've been working on has four things
that are ready about it. One, we have the teaser ready, which this which is where I started from,
believe it or not. And then we have a trailer ready, which reveals a lot more about what
we have built. We have the core base experience ready, which is which is what Stan is talking about,
and and that is we have built an environment that can run in a browser in a very immersive way,
in a in a very interactive way. And we've done it in a way that you can do it on a mobile phone,
you can do it on a tablet, you can do it on a desktop, a laptop. You could probably even do it
on a fridge if you really wanted to. But what what it means is that you no longer need to download
an app, or download a game, or download something to play this base experience that we have created.
And the fourth thing is a event. So within that base experience that we have created,
there's an event that unfolds, and that is obviously something that I'm super excited about because.
As you will see, it's very particular in taste, and Maestro has been getting a Stan has been getting
a good level of exposure to it. What we want to do is just give people another interface,
not like another window, but another way, another method of interacting with their AI agents,
but with one another and also the environment. So, Dark Hat might remember this. In early days of
Bison Valley, we were releasing some videos. One of the one of those videos was a was a trailer
in which we rendered this, you know, Americana, like in Wyoming, this beautiful hillside valley,
and the and then you see bison walking around, and the bison slowly turn into pixelated animals.
And and the you know the reason we had released that was my hypothesis that.
Life is already very cumbersome, and and it's very triggering. So when we play games or movies,
it really should inspire the opposite feeling. I don't really like horror movies
or or scary movies because life itself is very scary to me. And so when we designed Bison Valley,
we wanted to give people a place to be calm, a place to be serene, a place to be social,
and a place where we charge. And it's hard to do that within Telegram in a mini app.
So we did our best. What we've achieved because of AI, obviously, and latest advancement
and and and and some of the browser-based what we call Web GPU capabilities,
these are the same capabilities that would allow you or anyone to run an LLM inside of your browser.
What that means is that traditionally you you require a graphics card to run a game or a
Or an AI agent, and and the better the graphics card, better the performance.
But now we're seeing in very regular consumer electronics the capability of using the GPU,
that is the graphical processing unit, in a meaningful way within the browser
without another application or a heavy load of data, and that's super exciting
because we're making use of that and. So, without rambling on much further,
the new experience that that we're going to be teasing is a concept where you can just hang out
by yourself. You can show up and and and spend some time in the space that we have created for you.
You can talk to your agent if you wanted to, but we're going to take it one step further
and turn it into a spectacle, and that's what I'm most excited about. So I I didn't reveal much,
Stan. I know, but I'm happy to answer more questions. No, but it's great.
It gives us an idea of what the trajectory is, what the immediate future holds for Midnight City.
So this is thank you for sharing all of that. Yeah. Anyone else? The challenge. Go ahead. Go ahead,
Jim. The challenge has always been. Well, one Charles is a very smart person,
has a lot of great ideas, and She gave us a lot of them to incorporate,
and the analogy that I had always used to the team is, you know, we're in the kitchen,
and there's a lot of great ingredients in there. There's, you know, organic flour, and you know,
there's nutmeg, and there's icing, and there's sugar, but then there's cinnamon and turmeric
and nutmeg and and all sorts of other great ingredients that are fantastic on their own.
But if you were to put them into one recipe and bake a cake with it, it's probably not very good.
So part of that challenge has been, wow, we are an AI crypto civilization game.
A fintech initiative, which is a lot. Any one of those single items would be very difficult to do,
and to do it all in a coherent way is virtually impossible. So that's been our challenge. It's like
how, and I've always asked Charles this, and he knows this. Everyone knows this. I said,
do we focus on the fiduciary financial fintech privacy component of this,
or do we focus on the cute, watchable, engaging, you know, agentic civilization thing that
we're working on? And his answer has always been both, and and I think that's why we're we're now
at this point where there might be a clear delineation between those two facets of Midnight City.
They're both us, but I think they just need to be segregated in in a proper way, where we don't lose
either customer based on a single uniform message. I think that's a wonderful point. Oh, I'm sorry,
Stephanie. I just wanted to make one point off of Gem's comment right now. We often,
when we're thinking about both of those components in an abstract way and just speaking out
about them, they might not seem to be related. But I definitely agree about the concept
of having them both, because when you enter into Midnight City and begin experiencing it,
you can see that interplay of both and how they really are equally as important
and have a symbiotic relationship within the city that's beautiful and and has a lot of potential.
Go ahead, Stephanie. Well, you know, thank you. He said something that I don't know
if y'all really caught how important this is. It works on through a browser-based thing.
With years ago, when we were trying to create metaverses, that was a thing. You couldn't.
You had to pick something. You had to pick Windows or Mac. Web browsers were just not a thing.
So the fact that you're able to, you just what you just said is amazing.
You're already doing it mobilely. You're doing it web browser. That is a huge hurdle.
So now anybody can play and mess with it or do whatever. So I can. Now I'm now I'm fomoing.
I'm hating myself right now because I'm fomoing. But I'll be in that thing so I can jump the line
tomorrow. There you go. Now I'm fomoing. But yeah, this is this is really cool stuff, Gem. I mean,
that is always I felt like was a barrier for the developers was not. I got mad. I'm like,
you guys need to make it web browser based so that everybody can do it because you lose
so many people by isolating. Anyway. That's such a that's such a fantastic observation, Stephanie.
And that and that that was indeed probably the most important. You know, one of them.
Everything is important, but one of the most important facets of what I had shared. You know,
like growing up, I had the the persistent dilemma that I wanted to play these games,
but I just didn't have a computer that could run them. And we've now hit a point
in common computation and and common hardware that a browser is very capable. It can run an LLM.
We've we've seen it. We've we've done it. We've tested it. We've even built it.
We had a prototype in the early days called Night Agent. And night agent was a concept
that I had come up with based on the Tamagotchi. But imagine if you could describe what kind
of Tamagotchi you wanted, and and the personality of it and the appearance of it.
So we were able to generate fully custom sprites for the agent that you wanted.
The only reason we didn't roll this out into Midnight City proper is one:
not everyone is capable of handling running an LLM in their browser because your computer
is going to start heating up a little bit if it's not that good, and also.
If you switch to a new tab, the computer will naturally decelerate that process,
and and that might you know impact your experience. So we discontinued that.
We do have another web LLM component that we're hoping to to roll out sooner than later.
It will be a little bit different. It will be kind of like giving the people who have hosted agents
the capabilities of hosting their own agent. And what that means is, right now,
if you have chosen hosted agent, that means we manage that agent's inference for you.
We handle its hardware. But what if we gave you the option to to switch, even if temporarily,
to your own hardware, and that would give you a new level of freedom, a new level of capabilities
that otherwise is not possible. And then the other part of that is that obviously graphics
and graphics development has gotten much easier because of generative AI and such,
that these browser-based 3D experiences are more immersive and they're more fun.
So I'm definitely looking forward to teasing it tomorrow. I don't know how much I'm
willing to tease tomorrow, but it's I'm really really excited and. And I know at least Stephanie
and Stan are excited too, so that makes three of us. I'll be there. I'm very excited.
Whatever you can share with us, I know that we will greatly appreciate. I love it.
I am addicted to Midnight City, but now I'm also addicted to the Midnight City Discord spaces.
That's why I am not doing it because I know I'll be addicted to it. You just said
why I haven't done it. It's funny because in the beginning, when we were first rolling out
and the Nightforce was was first building our communication system to disseminate the Midnight City
concept and and Midnight City as a whole in social media, many people came back to me and said,
"So it's a video game. It's like a game." And I said, "It looks like it, but it's much more.
" And now we're beginning to get a real feel for its capabilities. And and how much more it is than
simply a 2D pixelated game. It's not a game. It's an actual living, breathing civilization that
we get to assist in shaping. And it's really exciting. Jem, I thank you so much
for being here today. And I really hope that you can come back as our guest speaker
as things move along. Midnight is moving at a trailblazing speed, and we are trailblazers
in this industry. Let's face it. We've we've already established that and. And we're only improving
that more and more as the weeks go by. And Midnight City is also expanding
and developing at a wonderful rate. So I really commend you and your team,
and I hope that you can come back and join us again on our space.
I would be honored to come back anytime. Thank you so much. Chaya, yes,
I just honestly want to say thank you to them coming to experts and doing amazing work.
And anytime I'm ready to have my BlockTech Radio running in Midtown, I can't wait for that.
Thank you. It's a pleasure, Stanley. We're we're excited to get the radio a lot more populated
with your help. Sorry, Gem. I said we're excited to get the radios a lot more populated
with your help. It's really exciting. Thank you so much, Gem. And thank you for having me.
Thank you so much for coming, Gem, and keep us posted on everything. Everyone else,
thank you for listening in. Thank you for coming up as speakers. Those of you who chose to speak,
this is a recorded space, so I'm sure that many of you listening afterwards on the recorded space
can gain just as much value as as the ones that were present live. So I'm excited for that,
and I'm excited to share what Midnight City has in store for everyone in the future. Thank you all.
Have a great evening, night, morning, wherever you are in the world, and we will see you next week.
