Give me a second, Brody. I'm having a hard time getting this space out.
This is so weird. Weird, weird, weird. Hey, everybody! Give me a second.
Trying to get my hosts and co-hosts back in here. Retweet the space.
know why this case is running. I don't know why this case.
Is that better? I can hear you. Yep. Okay. Hello, everybody. Let's try this again.
So I can't do it from my computer when I have my phone too close to it. The mics too close together.
That's all that is. Just keep midnight muted. You shouldn't need to have the mic open for anything
if you're talking from Island, right? Well, I thought I did it. What? You know what?
I'll get this stuff figured out. Welcome everybody. Retweet the space. Let's try this again. Hello,
hello, hello, hello. Um, we got Joker here today.
So who is this guy on stage with me? Ah, sa sa sa tan sa tamoka nan. How do you say your name? Ck.
Yeah. So, for folks that don't know, my my other account for whatever reason, I I get Bitcoin Maxes
or something. Really excited, and and I think they like to report my account or something.
We'll figure it out. Um, but but one way or the other, we're going to be good. And um,
so I'm coming to you live from this account. So let's let's go. It's Midnight Network.
I figured something silly happened, but I'm glad to have you here. I really appreciate it. Um,
so everybody, this is Joker and CK Cardano to some dear dear friends of mine and.
Just want to get this thing started. Give me just a second. I'm going to give it
a couple more minutes. Retweet this space. I wanted to make these guys my co-hosts,
and because I need help, I get nervous. Joker and CK. And I'll start mashing buttons
and kicking everybody out of the room. So what's going on, man? I'm super bullish, Joker.
So for everybody that doesn't know, Joker's a stake pool operator for Cardano,
who's been working with Midnight on the backend infrastructure and kind of coached me
through some things. And I got my DB sync to run yesterday, Joker. Nice, nice, nice.
I don't know if you saw that screenshot I sent you, but I finally figured out what was going on
with the new setup for me. So. Tomorrow I'm gonna generate my keys and link everything up
and submit my certificate. But you know what the problem ended up being? For some reason,
I think the doctor. I know, but the Docker container was named Midnight No Default,
and the script was looking for Midnight No. So you know what I mean? It just it wouldn't work. Well,
you know, for me, I used a package. I spun up Docker, and I ran everything through Docker.
I followed the new the new package, and I did the DB sync first. I just completely skipped
the Cardano part and went straight to the DB sync. Got that running, and then I went to
the next step, which was like clone the Midnight repository. And this one, I mean,
like I'm seeing the blocks being, but like you, like you were seeing, and I was like, man,
it's not linking with the Midnight node, and it looks to me like the node
is actually already you know working with this. And so when Stev came and joined the space
last night, I was like so proud of myself. And he said, "Nope," he goes,
"The new package has Midnight Node in it installed." So I already I installed it on testing it,
like the node and the DB thing. So I was like, "Oh my God!" Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, it's awesome.
Like, it's super, like, super easy. I don't know why I had that, like, that default issue happen.
I'm not sure what's up with that. But like, besides that, like, this process compared to last time
was so much smoother. It was like five. It was like five buttons. I clicked five different things.
I had the um, as long as I had the Docker Desktop run, I clicked like five different things
and stopped five, like, a couple. Bam! I was. Be super easy, and I did it through my Mac on Preview,
and it was running about 14 gigabytes. It was pulling like as it was going, but it was up and down.
It was fluctuating, so I'm not running it now. But I know I can. Do you let me get? Yeah,
but you say you haven't you haven't set up the Cardano side yet, so yeah. No, because I didn't know
how to do that. Well, I knew that was my next step, and I needed to do the certificate,
and I needed to talk to somebody to be able to generate the next step, because I don't have enough.
So basically, I think I'm right where you're at, except for you already have the node.
Does that make sense? Am I right, or I'm not sure if I'm right or not. No, I mean, yeah,
pretty much. We have the same thing set up, except for I have the node running.
I have the Cardano side all set up, the state pool, the relays. And then I have the midnight,
the tendency server set up, right? So DBS, Postgres, Amigos, all that good stuff. The midnight node.
So all that's set up. Again, so now all I got to do is submit my certificate to say, "Hey,
put me in the committee." So I just got to generate the UTXO for that, and you know what I mean.
Securely give the key over to the midnight node. For those that don't know what we're talking about,
this is you know setting up the infrastructure for when the midnight nodes go live,
and this is like a big deal. I feel like this is the infrastructure to do this is going to make
us some money for one, and for two, how cool is it going to be to be part
of the very first node operators running one of the biggest freaking infrastructures, blockchains,
I think, known to history. Come on, CK, lay in this plane. Let's go. Let's go. Yeah, well, man,
let's take this thing off, man. So yeah, welcome to the Midnight Alpha Group.
We've got Island Ghost. If for folks that don't know, she's been involved with the Midnight Network
from the beginning, or very close, rather, since it was open to the public
beyond just initial ideations. And and what's really great about Stephanie, man,
is she is the story. She's one of the reasons why we're unstoppable, is
because she's someone that basically took the reins, saw the opportunity, you know, started.
You know, she's from the XRP community. She's got really deep history,
and she sees the the potential in the Midnight Network. And I think that that is one
of the really really cool things about what this represents. Is it's going to be where the XRP army
meets the like the Cardano fam, and then we're going to come launch something that has never been,
and take all the things that we have learned and make this new implementation.
And then on the on the other hand, here we've got Mr. Joker himself. So this gentleman, speaking of
where you know XRP and ADA meet, Joker is a gentleman of many many skills and talents.
But one of the things that he excels particularly at is the implementation of hardware, right?
The actual, as as Stephanie was saying, the the infrastructure, the backbone.
What actually is is running these blockchains? Where are the zeros and the ones and the hashes
and all that really done? And Joker has been part of the Cardano community for for quite some time,
and has has been involved with the rollout and sort of the research and development, you might say,
of of the Midnight Nodes. And so, you know, as someone that is is exceptionally sort of familiar
with with what it actually takes to run a full node, his insights are allowing someone
like Stephanie, who's kind of implementing hardware for the first time.
She's able to be the the sort of we get to all learn through her eyes and benefit from
the experience that Joker brings to the table because Joker is one of those people
that's going to be very well positioned to say okay here's what I know from Cardano a lot
of the Cardano devs are are doing the the code side for how is this Midnight node going to work.
So what we're having is this awesome implementation. So one of the neat kind of plug
and play features we have we've got another project building on Cardano called Iagon, right?
And what they're building is imagine a PlayStation Five that is that makes you a thousand dollars
a month passively. And what you're doing is you're a plug and play Cardano SPO or a plug and play
Midnight Network node or SPO. And so, using the expertise of someone like Joker,
teams are going to be able to say, okay, how much hardware space do we need?
How much compute do we need? Right? And then, ION is already—they're releasing
their Cyclone hardware, which is being released, I think, imminently. And that is
a decentralized data storage and compute. Now, as we know, all a Cardano SPO or a Midnight SPO
is distributed data storage and compute that is built—you know—that that is set to
a certain purpose. Another really cool thing that Aiagon is doing is they're building dashboards,
kind of like a Google Play Store or an Apple Store, where you you you open it up, you say, "Hey,
look, I'm going to download my Midnight Note. I'm going to download my Cardano Note.
" So this is just kind of a flash into the future. When we when you hear us maybe reference things
like Cardano crystals, that's this notion of this really easy, modular, plug-and-play.
No thought added. If you can play PlayStation Five, you know, buy a PlayStation Five
and play a game. Ideally, we're going to be able to get you running Cardano nodes
and Midnight nodes, and that comes with a whole bag of tricks. Because eventually,
those that know that becomes a Bitcoin node and a Litecoin node and a Doge node
and all kinds of stuff. So that's when we talk about all the value creation, where it's coming from.
That's a piece of this. This concurrent validation of multiple blockchains.
But then we ask the question: What is one of the huge value adds in the blockchain space
that has been denied the space because of one of our strengths, and that is transparency, right?
One of the values of something like Bitcoin or publicly distributed ledger technologies.
Is that we can see everything that goes on, and that has great use cases when we're talking about
finance. Maybe we're talking about voting and governance. We want everyone's eyes on.
We want to be able to audit the entire record and how you know people participated. You know,
maybe with a pseudonymist, maybe you don't know. Hey, this is how Joker voted, but his voice counts,
and we know there's only so many people on the planet, kind of thing. Where I'm going with this is
medical information. For folks that don't know, within the last I want to say year,
it has been you know announced that now artificial intelligence agents can take things
like mammogram images and spot early cancer before any human on the planet. Right,
so we're talking the best you know breast cancer specialist in the world.
If you give him a set of images in the first say like four weeks, let's say of
cancer developing versus AI, odds are the AI is going to be able to go down
to the granular specificity unto literally like the the The granularity of what is available
to the data, right, and that's where AI is going to go. Oh, I can see this pattern.
Like this is how cancerous cells develop in breast tissue. It's looking for specific geometries that
the human eye might not even be able to look up. So what I'm saying is this, right? So one,
in order to be able to actually unlock this value and unlock this medical care
and all this cool stuff. We need to be able to have every doctor office in the world,
every research lab access this data, access the mammogram images, access the DNA data,
access the treatment for the most successful brain cancer. Like, imagine you just had brain cancer,
and you your your surgeon has access to all the successful surgeries in
the last year using cutting edge treatments. I'm going. I'm rambling here. I'm going to. Well,
actually, you know what? I'm going to start taking notes. I'm going to start taking notes
because you address five things during that, and I wanted to address each five things that
you address because they were all super important. But Joker, you go first, and then I'll.
I wanted to address. Yeah, like I mean, I I think all that's really cool, right, CK?
But I think what's even cooler is like if you look at it from zoom out, right?
So think about diseases that are caused by environmental causes, right? Or things that only affect
certain areas. Let's say there's some outbreak that happens somewhere, right?
Now through this technology, you are actually able to keep everyone's information private.
But still, pinpoint the source, how it happened, what made it happen, and so you're actually
you will start being able to prevent these things before they even happen.
And I think that's what's really cool about it. You know, this is a midnight space.
I kind of want to circle back to why, how, why this is important, and why midnight comes into play
for all of these things that that Joker and CK just said. So the Midnight has
a dual token mechanism. Like Joker and I are talking about setting up the public side
of the blockchain. That's the infrastructure part that we're all like we're all comfortable with.
We're used to that. That's what we do in Web3. Everything's public, transparency, blah blah blah.
But with Midnight, they have a dual token mechanism, and they're running. See,
this hasn't even really been said, I don't think, in spaces. They're running something called
a proof server. So you will be actually installing the proof server into your devices, like an app.
And to verify proofs, and by doing, we're not going to get too deep into that,
but that's what we're talking about. The proof server will prove what you're saying without
disclosing information, and that's that's a whole new that's a whole new freaking beast. Go ahead,
Jumper. Yeah. So real quick, I may be wrong on this, but like to kind of simplify it,
so the proof server really is just doing the the calculations right for the.
So just think of it as like you're you're just doing the computational load to encrypt your data.
That's all. That's it, and it does it for you. It's it's super super cool, and um,
it's I'm we I'm gonna wait till we have one of the DevRel teams here to really go into
the proof server part of it. But I think like that's how we're gonna be collecting our airdrops
when we go and we we connect our wallets and stuff. They're gonna be running that proof server
to make sure that you are the person that's holding that wallet without announcing to everybody
that okay CK owns a shit ton of Bitcoin and he just linked. To the faucet and claimed his airdrop.
Well, how do we prevent everybody from knowing that it was CK that did it? That it's his wallet.
Now everybody knows what CK has got. Well, by running it through this proof server,
they're going to generate a new wallet and start. You basically have a brand new,
clean wallet that's going to be decentralized right out the gate. And that's what
I'm looking forward to seeing. Joker rubbed. But you. That's that's a bummer. Yeah, yeah.
Did did you have any more other other points on there on like the dual token model
and kind of the special sauce of the. Of the airdrop, no, but there was like five things that
you spoke about, and that's that would be like that would be one use case.
I'm I'm gonna stick with the airdrop and keep it focused on how they're going to roll this out
to the public and teach people how to use it and show that it is easy to use, it is safe,
and by doing that, you're gonna get paid to test out these products. These are actually products
that Input Output Global have built, and the blockchain is one of them,
but the proof server is another thing. The Lace wallet is another thing. There's so many.
Implementations that's coming through that we're going to be learning and getting paid to learn.
So we will skip the the ZKP side for today because I want to have one of the Dell Varel team here
and they're at a conference right now, and we'll stick to the infrastructure
and how we we as normies. Okay, most everybody in this room are way more than normies. We,
if you're in this room, you already have an understanding of web three and computation,
what we're kind of talking about. But the normie are the basic. Crypto guy can literally spin up
these. We can be mining. We can spin up these nodes. We can be part of this.
So we're going to make it so super easy. And CK, I was wondering, maybe you can address that part
of it a little bit on how, without talking about other companies, but just kind of in general,
how the normal person can do it, like with their with an old laptop or something like that.
And Joker, I want Joker to add in on that as well. Yeah, absolutely. So I guess one question
of clarification: Are you asking about like the thirty day laptop mining period? Well, yeah. So,
how can a normal person or somebody in this room who's got an old laptop laying around, you know,
go mine mine it? I mean, like this is this is what we all want to do. How you know?
How can the guy that didn't get the snapshot? We don't want to tell the whales
about this free snapshot. We want to get that out of the way because there's a second stage
to collecting this night airdrop that's going to be 100% distributed, which is called
the scavenger hunt, which goes back to the original way of mining Bitcoin through the Satoshi learn
and earn thing. So maybe touch on that. Yeah, I love that. So, two two islanders' point
or Stephanie's point. I did just share to the top an announcement, a post today,
fresh off the press, July nineteenth. They are prepared for the midnight airdrop claims.
So that's going to be some a resource that you can go check. It's a verified account. Begin Wallet
is an open source project. They work with Cardano. They are trusted, but of course,
go do your research. Right, it has to meet your standard of trust. Midnight is about taking
our power back, creating a network that at its genesis ensures our privacy.
Because we we we get this airdrop correct, we we get privacy right from the beginning.
And then guess what, guys? We have distributed infrastructure that inherits the distribution
of Bitcoin, of XRP, of Solana, of Ethereum. I mean, this is so powerful, guys.
We are building the Roman aqueduct. The freedom that is going to allow all of these chains
to maintain their value, to grow it, and to truly succeed commensurate
with their free market arguments, so to speak, and their utility. And so it's just so great
because it's yeah. So up at the top, a little bit more info. That's going to probably be one
of the wallets that is supported. And so so more on there. As far as yes, the 30 days.
So so if you had a hundred dollars worth of qualifying assets in a self custody wallet,
you claim you qualify for the Let's say you you don't have any crypto, but you love the technology.
You see where this is going, and you want to participate. The midnight airdrop
after the 60 day claiming period is going to have a 30 day window where, using a consumer grade PC,
this isn't some gaming rig, whatever, you will be able to for 30 days mine for night tokens. Which,
as Stephanie said, is very similar to it's like a shout out and an homage to folks
that got to mine Bitcoin on their laptops in 2009 and 2010. Um, and so that was one of the people.
Right, right, the Bitcoin faucet, as you mentioned. And what's really cool about this guys is,
in keeping with kind of the fun, the privacy, the dark, the midnight—you know—taking our taking
our privacy back. In the the history of Bitcoin, the the Bitcoin white paper was released on
Halloween night, 2008. The genesis block, the the blockchain started January 3rd, 2009.
But the the genie was released, right? The information was released to the world on Halloween.
And what's really cool about this is whether we actually nail midnight Halloween for the start
of the glacier drop or not. I love the fact that a sixty-day mining period and then a thirty-day,
or rather, a sixty-day claiming period and then a thirty-day
laptop free mining scavenger hunt period falls right for like a Halloween. Adjacent airdrop. So,
well, I was in a World Mobile space today. I'm super bullish on World Mobile. Going to, you know,
can't wait to meet up with them at Rare Evo. Love, love that community. Love what they're building.
And I was going to go up and talk, and Charles joined, and um, you know how he takes the stage.
So I didn't go up because I was more listening. And the things that he said was they're bringing 120
and IOG employees to Rare Evo, and Midnight is like a huge part of it.
And they will be making some big announcements there. So, um. Oh no! I don't know, man.
I'm super excited about all of this, but then, so I don't know if that falls into your dates or not.
But about the wallet, like for me, that's really cool that what you're saying.
I know there's XRP people that are working with Midnight to be able to integrate our wallets
with this Midnight mining and this Midnight Air. I to see that there's Bitcoin, Solana. Why?
For anybody that's listening, they're going, "Holy shit!" They're talking about
like 12 different chains, man. I'm a XRP maxi, or I'm a Cardano maxi. What?
This is going way over my head. The cool thing about Midnight is it's going to work with all
of these chains, and that's why this is so cool. I'm really going to look into this wallet,
but for me, I'm going to be using the Lace wallet because that is an input-output global product,
and I want to show them support. So that's that's where I'm going with the wallet.
And then the other thing was about being able to use just the basic hardware.
Joker runs a Cardano SPL. That is another thing that's a very hardcore requirement.
It's a requirement to be able to have your node. Your midnight node validator speaking
and connected to a established Cardano stakepool operator. Why are they doing this? Well,
it's an added layer of security for one. It also, because they are already into the ecosystem,
it's giving them extra rewards to for being saying thank you, thank you for what
you've been doing as a community. And one of the things I was worried about was.
When I was doing tests, and now that they're like, okay, Stephanie, now you need to spin up
a cardano SPL, and I was like, well, I'm fucked. I said I don't want to do that. First of all,
that's a a lot of hardware requirements. You got to build a community. You got to build blocks.
I don't want to do that. It's just way too much. But what I've been learning lately, first of all,
I have somebody like Joker who's going to be able to help facilitate me with the testing part of it.
And then I found out that a couple days ago that Midnight is going to be spinning up
some Cardano SPOs to be able to start testing with this. So you don't. In the past,
you had to be a Cardano SPO, but now you'll just as long as you have a nice relationship with
the Cardano SPO, you can start right now on testnet. And it was what five freaking clicks, Joker.
This new this new package that they got to try to run the midnight node. It was super easy. Yeah,
it wasn't very many. It was only a couple Docker commands, you know. As long as you have
Docker installed, and you know, you know how to use Linux, right? So you're just using Ubuntu,
setting the proper ports, and then if you don't already, like I said, if you don't already have
Docker Compose, install install that. And I think it's like six commands, and bam, you're done.
You're done. The hardest part that I have found teaching people was was installing Docker,
and what Docker is is Docker is a containerized. Application to where you can run,
you can test things that would interact with your computer without changing
your computer's schematics, so to speak. So it's a safe, it's basically a safe way to run
these apps. So if you, if you all are interested in doing this, I highly suggest the first step
would be to make sure that your computer can install Docker Desktop. I do it on a Mac,
and it was kind of prompting me to Linux, but I was Because Mac is a Linux-based thing,
it was allowing me to do it. I just, it it wasn't that hard. I just clicked on the ones
that said for Mac, not for Linux. But I haven't got to the next step yet,
so I don't know if I'm going to need Linux or not. But this is a good place to start. Oh, you're,
go ahead. Sorry, I thought you were. I am. So you're doing it in a desktop environment,
not a command line environment. No, I did it. Um. Well, so I used my my Mac,
and I I did the command line. I ran it through the terminal. I opened up the terminal, and it.
But I made sure I had Docker Desktop installed first, and then I just basically copied
and pasted the the instructions to run this through a Docker container, and it was super easy.
I I just pasted something in the terminal, went into Docker, hit run, and next thing you know,
I could see what exactly what the picture that you sent me was the DBC, you know,
and doing all that stuff. So. It was. I was super excited. It's the first time
I'd ever gotten DBSing to work. I was super excited that Docker was running everything,
and it was keeping it was keeping everything nice and safe and containerized.
It wasn't changing anything on my computer, and I just ran it for test nodes. So, I don't know.
It was definitely a cool day yesterday. I was super proud to be able to do that with a basic desktop
or laptop. Welcome everybody. Thank you guys for joining us. We've got lots of questions.
If you're We're talking about the midnight infrastructure. We're talking about midnight.
If you aren't sure what the hell we're talking about, we'll let CK give you a brief update.
Let's go, CK. Let's go. Yeah. If you don't know, welcome to the Midnight Network.
What is ADA up to at night, right? And what are these XRP folks out here doing?
How do we mobilize these communities? How do we take the freedom that Satoshi set alight
and gifted to humanity, like a Promethean fire that cannot be be be be. You know, fucking put out.
It's beautiful. So, basically, welcome to the revolution. It will not be televised,
but it will be written in code, and it will be validated globally and distributed by us all.
And we are now unstoppable. So, we're the captain now. You're the captain now.
And here we are having a captain's conversation together at midnight, and we are limited only
by the the by our curiosity and the and and the creativity of our questions. So, what is midnight?
It's a privacy network that is going to unlock all of the implications of what
does it mean to monetize all of the medical data of the world? What does it mean to protect
your right to, to yeah, your medical privacy while monetizing it at the same time?
We we all hear about these people that maybe have a rare blood type, and we say, hey,
could you please donate blood whenever you can? What if your medical history is
exceptionally relevant? What if you're an individual there that suffered from a rare cancer
and beat it? Now you can maybe help save tens of thousands of lives. You might be able to save
billions of dollars of medical treatment. You might be able to prevent the number one cause
of bankruptcy in the United States, which is medical debt. How do we do that?
We empower women to be able to get their their their breast health checked without
ever having to see a human being. They're going to be able to go into something like a
like a phone booth for those of you that are old enough to know what that is,
and interacting with AI and app and the Midnight Network. Right? You will be able to know.
You'll get a you'll get a text to your phone saying, "Hey, congratulations! Well done!
The Midnight Network bids you a great year. We'll see you next year at the Midnight. You know,
boob squeeze. Whatever, whatever we're going to call this thing. And then you like boobs, don't you?
You like boobs, don't you? I'm a big fan of boobs. I we should protect boobs.
I definitely need to protect boobs. You know. 100, you know, you know,
but but I think that that that really is is very very powerful when we think about all of the value
add that literally right now that can't be priced in to Bitcoin right now because the market
doesn't exist and so for folks that might be approaching this
with a a more typical maybe tribalistic or adversarial like oh is this liquidity away from Bitcoin
or is this gonna fuck my Solana it's like no guys no guys no guys we're creating more of a market
now this value will flow into Bitcoin make no mistake Midnight Network is going to add.
More than a trillion dollars of value to Bitcoin, and it's going to add
more than a more than a trillion dollars of value to Cardano, right? And it's probably going to add
more than more than a trillion dollars of value along game to XRP as well. So,
but so we're just adding a completely new layer of privacy for all of these chains, and as a result,
we also add interoperability and and liquidity there. Well, that's the cool thing. So, like, yeah,
but I'm more excited. Good. I was just going to say, like, that's cool. I'm excited for that, right?
Don't get me wrong. That's actually. Going to store or going to like the bank, you know what I mean.
And you know you just need a cash or check, but you don't need to give them
all your other information, right? They don't need to know all that. You,
they just need to know you are who you are, and it's okay for them to cash this check for you. Well,
guess what? With things like midnight, you can do that now. All of a sudden,
you can have blockchain technology. And move money for financial systems because guess what?
We can meet the privacy standards that are there from the federal laws. I think. So
when you think about aspects like that, going to the liquor store, not needing to show them like,
hey, this is my name, this is where I live, blah blah blah blah blah blah. Right?
Just think about all the different times that you have to produce an ID
and give people too much information. Well, you know, Jagger, you brought up a really good point,
especially for my XRP community. So, the XRP community, which is a lot of us here,
we understand that XRP does one thing: it moves money real fast. It's the bankers' coin.
It is going to be the you know the one, the the Internet of Value. However, we do not have
smart contracts. We do not have data protection. There's a lot of people that can't.
Spend their XRP, but with Midnight, you'll be able to do that
because you're not going to be changing anything on the XRPo. And as CK was saying,
it will add value because once we start using Midnight for the data protection side
with our XRP interoperability, as he was saying, it will increase the value of XRP as well
as Bitcoin, Cardano, Midnight, everything. So that was. That that's a big deal. I mean,
that's a big deal. We know institutions are coming. There's people like C.K. That he doesn't want
no one to know about his shit on the on the blockchain, and you know he doesn't.
He's not a fan of XRP because of of this part. But that's okay. That's I agree with him 100%.
However, I'm 55 years old, and my family and my sisters they are not gonna try
and do the shit that we do. All of us down here do trying to move money to each other. Send me XRP.
Let me get ADA. Let me do this. How do I go buy something? Then I want to do it. But banks, banks,
we're gonna start doing this. Institutions are gonna start doing this,
and Our XRP is going to be the one that they use. However, we don't have data protection,
and I don't want banks running all my shit. But what CK just said was,
if we add this layer of night to it, and that goes for Bitcoin as well,
he can now use his Bitcoin if he wants to in institutional things because he has KYC capability all
of a sudden. So that's that's my that's my favorite part of midnight. All right.
I think you guys both you guys both brought up some really great, awesome use cases. Consider this:
you work at a highly sensitive research facility, be it in private or in the public sector, right?
I'm going to cook some. Here's some some deep alpha. The notion of totems.
Don't ask any questions about that. But imagine if you had something like a phone or a wrist wallet
or something that was even in a shoe that literally allowed you to navigate a campus where the doors
would open. You don't need humans anymore to stop the locks because you can verify who you are in
all kinds of interesting, creative ways, right? So, but now less than that level.
Imagine the value out of a nightclub. I'm opening the Midnight Nightclub in New York City.
Guess what it does? It employs Midnight technology. Here, there are no bouncers because we know
you are who you say you are without knowing who you are. God damn it, I'm too good. I'm too good.
Anyway, so these kinds of things. Imagine being that club where you're a 24/7 kind of thing
because you can only get in if you're 21. Da da da. You've already registered.
Now we're opening up NFT monetization. It's a bespoke gallery with you know all kinds of shit, guys.
You literally can order your fucking main course. You can actually be matched up on a blind date,
anonymizing each other, meet up at the midnight club, and you're like, guys, oh, we are too. Good.
This is the pie that doesn't exist on Bitcoin, and also they don't have enough sizzle.
They don't have, as I say, there's no sex in their violence, man. We should never be violent,
but if we are, shout out to Bush. There should be some sex in it, right?
Because there's that love in it. We like, like it's not maybe even my bag, but I feel it. I get it,
right? Some ah, and and midnight is bringing that ah, because what does Ada get up to at night, man?
We're gonna, we're not gonna. We're we gonna find out, but we get to disclose
that because it's a consent situation. That's the thing we consent. And also, as Americans,
we have something called the Fourth Amendment. What is the Fourth Amendment, you ask? That is,
we have a right. We have a we have a protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.
What that means is our papers. If Joker, Stephanie, and I choose to create a small business, saying,
"Hey, Joker, I'm really liking the work that we're doing on these these cardinal crystals.
I think you, me, and Iagon are ready to move forward. Island Ghost has done some great work
on the midnight, you know, training materials. So let's launch this thing. If we have documentation
and records, and even expenditures from our accounts, there there is the government,
nor does any agency have any right to our business." As citizens of this country, and as you know,
these are the kinds of records that we have a right to, and that doesn't really exist right now
on Bitcoin, right? Well, let me let me let me let me bring let me bring this.
Hold on with your light point. Hold on, let me bring this back to a question that I got
last weekend. So the guy in the corner said, I understand what it can do and what,
but for an old person. How? Well, here's the thing that was goes back to this proof server
that we've been talking about, all right? Which is a basic app. An app.
Everybody takes their phone to the club. Everybody takes their phone to the doctor.
This proof server can be maintained in a simple device in your phone. So you will be
able to prove all of these things with basic a basic app. If you want to go out on a date
with Tinder and you want to know these the score or whatever, you can prove it through the server.
So it's it's here. The tech is here, and it can be used.
We just right now aren't really talking about it too much because, well. We're geeks,
and we start getting into the technical side of it. So we got to learn
how to explain it to you all without it being over your head. Oh, we're being over—it's over
on my head. But we just want to install it. You just want to—I just want to install the app
and go on Tinder and go meet, have a hookup, right? But with this app,
you'll be able to do it with the proof server in a safer environment. That's—that's
how we're going to do it. It is—it the tech is here. Shout out Charles Hoskinson
and their team for making this happen. Absolutely, and what's so cool is there's such a component.
There's so many pieces of this that are dope as fuck. I'm reminded of Roman aqueducts, guys.
Like back in the day, like when when you can bring a public good to everyone,
where you no longer have to walk to the well, or walk to the lake, or walk to the river,
and the water comes to you. What Midnight is going to do, and one of the the really brilliant.
Aspects of this glacier airdrop to eight major chains is that is inculcating
and incorporating into all of those networks. It's granting them privacy.
It is a sudden Roman aqueduct. It is a public good. It is a Fourth Amendment situation
for the world. Because think about that, you will be able to if you currently on June 11th,
if you custody a hundred dollars worth of Bitcoin, Solana, XRP, Ethereum, Avax,
you know a couple other assets. I think there was eight in total. You will be able to have access
to a privacy token. Little little side quest. I love the idea of someone taking the 30 day free.
Like whatever, like someone should get a wallet, mine thirty days for free,
and make that into freedom over the next year. Show the power of what's building on Cardano and XRP
and Midnight together. You know, that's exactly what I've been waiting for for five years, Joker.
My identity got stolen, and I I had learned about Bitcoin and the privacy of all of this,
and the banks couldn't do anything for me, and I just got pissed. Instead of being a victim,
I didn't know at fifty five years old that I was going to be sitting here leading the forefront
of data protection, you know, for the normies, and that's that is a challenge.
You're going to get paid. To to test it out because I think in my opinion data is more valuable
than any type of currency whatsoever. If you can't protect by having my identity stolen,
these people bug my shit up. So if I can protect and self custody my data, that to me is a value.
Now I'm gonna get paid to do it, and I've got 30 days to fricking mine off my computer
and make some money. Man, I had a song for this. I've been waiting for this moment all my life
by Phil Collins. But I think this is a chance for all of us in this room to get in on something new
and not just new, just It's what we need, man. It's what we've all needed.
Look how it's bringing everybody in this room together. We've got XRP, we've got Bitcoin,
we've got Litecoin, we've got Cardano, we've got so many different spaces down here.
And how many times do I spend a week jumping into a Cardano space or jumping into a Bitcoin space
or jumping into an XRP space? This is a way to bring all of us together because it's not
one change world alone. I I love what you just said there, Stephanie, because you hit the nail
on the on the head. You know, it's it reminds me of like with with politics, right?
It's not the people of Russia that are the problem. Let's not forget with this Ukraine thing was
there's an echo. There's a gnarly, but that is true. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Let me. Thank you,
thank you. But yeah, like the first images that we saw out of Russia, right,
was the people of Russia gathering in public places saying, "This is not us. We do not want this,
yo." And and same thing with China, right? It's not the people of these places;
it's the leadership that's got it twisted. We see this in America too, man.
And that's what's so cool about blockchain tech and all these things that we're building,
where we're building open source communication infrastructure. We're building
open source financial infrastructure, so we are literally decoupling each of us economically
and data and communications from the state, from governments, and now we are about to put
a privacy layer over all of that, and it can't be stopped, and that's so great. So yeah, yeah.
So the AI. Let's go back to I was remembering some of the things that you talked about earlier.
The AI component of it. So I finally fomode my UGA team into Midnight.
They've been hearing me talk about it for nine months, but it finally went open source,
and I could finally talk about it. And I'm like, "Let's fucking go!" So they are big AI developers.
I've got Chaps down there and Koi Miyamoto, and they're always building things with AI.
And they finally locked into Midnight. They read everything. And I wish if Chaps
and Koi want to come up here, I would love. We are entering the hackathon.
We've got DAPs being built, and we're using AI. We are going to be making AI tools.
That's what we're entering: AI tools to work with Midnight. And you're absolutely right.
The AI is going to send it. I'm scared to death of AI. I'm an old woman. It's like Sarah Connor.
I thought the bad guys. I mean, like you know, the bots were going to invade me.
But watching these guys for the last six months and how they interoperate.
With AI has really given me a new sense of comfortability because I gripe about oh don't put shit
into ChatGPT because that's just data harvesting now they know everything blah blah blah
but they're building an AI specific for these things so I did just get a um text um that he chaps
can't come up here and I might if you tell if I tell everybody why I would be we had ZKPs
I could protect your privacy anyway so chaps it cannot come up but chaps Is an amazing. I mean,
he's been in IT, and he he understands the need for data protection. He's been in Web two stuff,
and he loves Web three. But now, all of a sudden, we're building DApps with Midnight and using AI.
We don't know how to code. I mean, we don't know how to code. We don't now,
but we do have tools inside the Midnight dot. Okay. Okay, so they've changed up the documents.
If you want to start learning how to do any of this stuff that we're talking about,
you want to go to Docs. Midnight, and they have. It's not the brightest AI tool right now,
but it's it's specific for what that website is, and what
we're trying to build is something a little bit more, more more cohesive, more friendly,
more interact you know, interoperable. But you can see that that's where Midnight wants to go.
They want the AI integration with this, so anybody can use it. I I love that. Yeah, you know what?
Touch on something we're talking about actually. You were saying how Bitcoin doesn't have it, right?
When you were giving your pump it up speech, and I just want to say, actually, Bitcoin will have it,
right? That's what Midnight's all about, right? It's about bringing interoperability
and bringing these tools to things like Bitcoin, right? Now all of a sudden, Bitcoin can have DeFi.
They can have DeFi natively, right? Pretty much, they can lock their Bitcoin
in their own Bitcoin wallet. And then have it on Cardano, and participate in DeFi
while self-custodying their Bitcoin and never having to turn it over to a third party
or trust anybody. You know what I mean? So these are the advantages that Midnight is going to bring
other chains, right? So. And with that, when they come over and they do that, or they say, "Hey,
we want to come over here," and you know what we see this shim that goes with Jed,
and we realize that's pretty much just like a government bond backing a the U.S. Dollar,
except it's Jed stablecoin. Heck, man, that's a really easy way to sit there and gain some money,
and you know, and interest, and not have to worry about loss for the long term, right? So,
I think like. There are so many different things that Midnight brings.
It's really hard to pin it down to just one thing, right? Because like CK is real big on
like the medical side. Islands real big on the data side, right? Owning your data that way,
Google isn't getting it through their analytics, right? All the apps on your cell phone
aren't going to be selling it on your behalf and pocketing the money in their pockets instead
of yours. So you know, there's a lot to be excited and bullish on. Where do you want to start?
Charles started when I'm when he when Charles. I was following Charles for years.
I thought it was going to be just Cardano and XRP, and I just knew we needed something else.
And I was watching his whitepapers and or his whiteboards and following him for years.
And I'll never forget the day that he introduced Midnight to the world. And I it was at midnight,
and I'm laying in bed, and I remember sitting up, going, "That motherfucker did it.
" He fucking did it because what Midnight does is it fixes this. That was his his words.
Midnight fixes this, and everything that we're talking about with Bitcoin, with Litecoin,
with Cardano, with XRP, with Polkadot, whatever, we do we we want our stuff recorded on
the blockchain, or we wouldn't be here because we do believe in Web three.
But how much do we want on that freaking blockchain? Well, you know. I already have people
that track my wallets. If I send, sell ten XRP worth of me coins, you know,
they don't need to know that shit. And it's not that I care. I'm glad that it's transparent
and I know it's recorded, but these people don't need to know it's me.
They don't need to know how much I'm paying myself technically. But I don't mind that it was
a recorded transaction. So midnight fixes this. This is what it's all about.
So I hope you guys are as bullish as me and Joker, and uh. I don't even know what else to say
because this is a lot of information that we've just given you guys in the in an hour,
but there's so much more to come. And if anyone has any questions, we can.
I was going to keep it to an hour, which it's been about an hour. But if you guys have any questions
or if you want us to keep going or whatever, I mean, CK Joker and I can talk about
this all day long. But nobody's requesting, so I'm going to just say thanks, everybody, for coming.
But I want CK and Joker to give me their. What are you bullish on, man? I mean, like Joker said,
so many things, but. Yeah, you know what? If I am bullish on like everything that you guys
just said, because I really think this is the age of unity. Because the point
that I was trying to make there with the whole countries and what what China and Japan
and it's it's the it's not the people, it's the leaders. It's the same thing with Solana, guys,
and the same thing with Ethereum. Fuck it, I want you to make bags, bro.
I just see that you're gonna get fucked on Solana, like literally, right? Look at
how many people actually win in the meme coin casino. And and bro, I mean, okay, this is recorded,
so I'm not gonna say what I was about to say, but let's just say I know what the infrastructure.
There was a statement that I used to say that people would go. What do you mean it runs in
a billionaire's garage? Like, and and you know, and like, why can they turn it off and on, right?
And now there's advantages if it runs in one billionaire's garage or something, right?
You just it's like oh shit, it's it's on the fritz. Flip the bitch on and off. Oh cool, thank God.
You know, thank God I'm this rich and I have all this shit, right? Um, I'm not anyway.
But people are making money, and and like with XRP, I'm actually not mad at XRP.
My take on XRP is this. XRP went to traditional banking and said, "We see you.
Three to five business days doesn't cut it. Guess what? We know blockchain.
We know that we're we're going to eat all of your lunch. So let's get in bed." And so they did.
So so I'm not naive to think that banks are going away. Right? There are some contingents
of let's say the toxic maximalists. They're like, "Oh, and then the banks will fall." And good luck,
kid. Good luck. Good luck. I got my money on on Goldman on on not Goldman. On BlackRock, right?
Being around in Bank of America is going to be around in like seven years, right? So,
so the reality is, you might want to put your money on Goldman Sachs. They own
all the infrastructure that is MetaMask and Ethereum. Right, exactly. And so,
so I guess the point that I'm making here, right, is I don't begrudge folks making their money
because I think people are going to make a lot of money on XRP. Right,
but my my the reason why I personally choose not to hold it isn't because I don't believe
it would be profitable. It is because I would be supporting the Bank of America, the Wells Fargo,
the that thing, right? Whereas I know when I do the Bitcoin, Litecoin, UTXO, Cardano, Midnight,
that's the Freedom Networks. Now there's going to be people that keep it in Coinbase and Finance,
but we are going to grow liquidity pools in the Maya protocols, the Thor chains, the no KYC,
and like one of the things that I am the most excited about is I believe we're entering
an 18 month period where from the least of these to the most of these,
whether you're flipping burgers and have $50 at the end of the month or you're Michael Sailor.
Using your knowledge, not where your daddy went to college or how rich your family was
or what color of your skin, but the knowledge in your head and a free night airdrop,
you can turn that into freedom because of all the all that's coming into the system.
And and as it bifurcates, and there's people that trust the banks and trust the Coinbase's
and trust the whatevers, because as as our our friend said, but the people are R-worded, right?
So I don't begrudge them. Some people are better off leaving their assets in Coinbase
and and and banks because they might lose it. Let me let me just let me just actually bring
just a little bit. Well, that's well, that's actually what years ago
when I you know was looking into this dex decentralized banking and stuff because I was like fuck
the banks. One of the things that back then, before the SEC lawsuit, was the original use case
for XRP and Ripple was not so much for banks, was for the unbanked people to be able to send peer
to peer payments real fast and real cheap without having to pay you know huge fees.
So that was the original my. That was their original intent before the SEC lawsuit was to make
it afford, make it so that somebody, the unbankable, can be that can can do this. Like me,
I can't get a bank account, nor would I, because of my identity being stolen.
But I'm scared to even download an app. I don't want nothing to do with the banking industry.
But do I want it safe? Do I want it on the ledger? Do I want to be able to spend it?
Do I do I you know want to protect my data? Yes, that's so that's where I fell in love with XRP
because that was their original goal. But then the whole KYC, then the SEC lawsuit. So we've spent
the last few years fighting the SEC, and so it's kind of pivoted in the narrative
on banking the unbanked because the banks aren't going anywhere, and they want their piece
of the pie. But that doesn't mean we still can't facilitate the unbanked, even
though the banks are probably going to be using all of this technology at some point.
That's me landing my plane. No, I completely agree with everything you just said there. You know,
because the reality is, will Bank of America or Wells Fargo, whatever, maybe build a CBDC, even
if they won't call it that, on XRP technology? Fucking maybe. But you know what?
You can fuck yourself just as well with Bitcoin, if we're being honest, right? Because look,
most people currently do use use Coinbase, which is also people that are out here concerned about,
hey, are they manipulating the market? Yes, they are. You want to know the TLDR on that?
Now we're just allegedly writing a story here, but okay, if Coinbase has forty thousand Bitcoin,
just let's say. And they only have a regular flow of 5,000 Bitcoin a day. They know, wow,
we don't have to move UTXOs. If we have cash coming in, we don't actually have to buy it
at the market, so the price isn't going to go up. What do we do? We just update the dashboards.
That's what FTX was doing. But they took it a step further and took that cash,
and whereas Coinbase just sits on it, so they can shake you out and make you go fuck, fuck,
we're buying, and nothing's happening. And then the sell pressure comes in, and they let that hit.
That's how they game it. They play the float. Right. Whereas when FTX was doing is they would take
the cash and buy their own shit token. Exactly. So they would update your thing
that you own Bitcoin, and then they pump their token. Then they didn't have your Bitcoin.
It was all a mess, right? So yeah, they're just they're just moving numbers.
They're not moving tokens. Exactly. They're keeping the tokens on whatever chains
making them money at that moment. So like when XRP starts pumping, and they got all their
move really fast because people are trying to take it off of there. So you actually now
that the central exchanges are not custing your XRP, they're not custing your Bitcoin,
they're custing whatever the hell they want, and and And just, you're absolutely right. Well,
and that's what's great about taking self custody of your assets, and that's also
why my first criteria is a hard cap supply. That's the first thing that blows my mind about Doge,
Ethereum, and Solana. With respect, they have no supply limits, guys. And if we're escaping
fiat inflation, let's have hard cap supply. So that's where one thing I like XRP.
For folks who don't know, there will only ever be 100 billion XRP. Now,
they don't meet my second criteria, which is a UTXO basis. I like that because if the UTXO basis,
it speaks to Bitcoin with mathematics. So there's no trusty bro. Trust the math, not the bro. UTXO.
So that's why I think Cardano's inevitable. That's why. That's how Bitcoin's gonna scale beyond
seven transaction per second. Because here's why. You put me in a room with an Ethereum
or a Solana dev, and pitching to Larry Fink. You've got now five trillion dollars, let's say,
of Bitcoin, a Y Cardano, and I say because if you believe two plus two equals four,
I'm your Uncle Barry. They can't give you that level of assurance. And if you want to discuss it,
we can. I can talk your ear off about grains of sand and unspent transaction outputs
versus you know proof. Island Ghost is worth a universal variable. You know,
Stephanie equals a million units, and that's great and all. And I can make a. A smart contract fast
with that, but when when it's that malleable, when I can just as easily delete that million units
and make Stephanie worth negative three hundred thousand, that's a problem.
Whereas when all of the protocol is following deterministic units like grains of sand, UTXOs,
like math in a closed system with a finite number of units, it has determinism,
which means that if you add two and two, you always get four. That's a property of a function,
right? And in physics, it's called the principle of transmissibility, which means you could have
a potato touching a garbage can, touching a cat, touching a phone,
basically mass touching each other in space. If I push on the potato, I'll move the cat
because they're all connected. Same thing in hydra in fluid dynamics on pools of water.
You can't push on each other. If you have infinite inflation with a lot of material,
they don't push on each other. I think you lost everybody. You lost everybody. Let's bring it back.
Let me break it back. Let me break it back. You know, you've made so many good points.
All of this is going to be mathematical equations. And for the XRP people, we don't,
we don't do mining. We don't do UTX. And people are like, what the hell are they talking about?
Because our transactions are done through the AMMs, automated, and are validator.
It's just totally different beasts. But it's fast. It's it's cheap. It's scalable.
But that doesn't mean it's the best or one real. Because we have other things that we need.
So you know. But for you all that are listening, as we're introducing you all tonight,
these are the protocols that he's talking about, the mathematical equations,
how it's going to be done, and it's it's a secure way of doing things. But I just want to lay.
I really appreciate everybody coming up, and I want to give a shout out to King Uga Buga.
One of the things that Charles told all of us, and it's in actually in the white paper,
was they're looking for communities. And when I was doing all that dev work on DevNet,
and they're like, "You got to become an SPO." I'm like, "How the fuck am I supposed to do that?
" That means becoming a part of a community. So, I took a break, man, and I went down
to the trenches and started having fun with meme coins. And I met a lot of these people
that are here right now supporting me, and Uga was one of them. And we have brought a team
of communities together. And without this community, I would not have been
able to keep moving forward. So that's another thing that Midnight brings:
is they're looking for communities. They're not looking for venture capitalists.
They're not looking for the big money makers. They're looking for people that know
how to work together, and believe in one another, and love this technology. So, Uga,
if you have anything to say, you can put your hand up. If not. Um, just want to shout everybody out.
And Joker, by the way, I onboarded Joker to the new Joey Wallet and sent him his.
He set a trust line, and I sent him some UGA tokens. So now Joker is part of the UGA community.
Let's go. And all of my UGA people, Joker, if you have some ADA. We're going to be using Joker.
Joker is facilitating us as a community to be able to talk to his node to keep facilitating
my dream. So, if you have any data and you want to stake it, let's stake it with
Joker Pool because you get rewards by staking it. You want to have your data stake.
It's proof of stake. So that is the power of what Midnight's doing is bringing all of us together
as communities as well. Let's go. Let's go. I mean, there isn't much to say after that. I mean,
you pumped me nice, so I don't even have to say state choker fool, but I just did. Uh,
everybody have a good night. Hugo, you got anything to add to that? Hell yeah.
He says midnight fixes this, folks. He speaks Charles. Hey, you got that Charles clip? That's funny.
Remember when Charles went? God, that went viral as hell. Um. Anyway, thank you guys for coming.
You know, just stay primal, stay locked in. I wish I had my soundboard up.
I was hoping who was going to give us the full drum beat. Let's go. Angels,
angels. Angels, angels. Underlands, the best a man can get. Underlands,
underlands, the best a man can get. Underlands, underlands.
Baby, it's the best. Baby, it's the best. Baby, it's the best. Ooh, the best,
the best a man can get. Ooh, the best, the best a man can get. Ooh, the best, the best a man can
get. Let's go. You know, real quick, you've reminded me of something. When a lot
of us were meeting up in the in the trenches of the meme coins on the XRP L, First Ledger
is going to be one of the sponsors at Rare Evo. They recognize what's going on in the Cardano
and Midnight space, and they have given me a ticket to be there. So I will be there at Rare Evo
in like three weeks. Huge Cardano event. Super excited. First Ledger is going to be part of this,
you guys. So. Rare Eva. I guess that's all I had to say.
You have anything else, TK? Thank you, by the way, Joker. You drop down.
Yeah, thank you. Oh, dude, Island Ghost. Do you see we have Phil in the room? Have you seen Phil?
Did you know? Do you know who Phil is, Island Jack? I do. I do know who Phil is,
and I've I made the decision that I wasn't going to throw a mic to anyone
unless they wanted to come up and speak, and they are they are most welcome. Phil,
we don't have to shut this down, but if you have anything you wanted to add to it
and introduce yourself to everybody, you're more than welcome. But he is definitely somebody.
He he's been showing me a lot of support. I was in the Cardano space, and you know he told me,
you know, Steph, you you've got this. You're working hard with Input Output Global.
He gave me some encouragement the other day, so I really appreciate what Phil's doing. Yeah. Yeah.
And for folks that don't know, just like so, so Phil's a legend in the Cardano community.
Y'all might not know it, but there was a certain individual that likes to get loud every once
in a while, and they may know a little a thing or two about UTXO. And they decided to be hostile
to our blockchain. They decided to to use a little bit of a little bit of an edge case
to try to get cute for a minute. Well, then the bat signal went out to our global network,
and our boy Phil was like, "You said." What son? And then Phil said, "Hold my UTXO.
" And he took the power of a global blockchain, and he proceeded to absolutely abscond with
the funds of this asshole that decided to fuck with Phil of Cardano. So, if you do not know,
this man just said, "Hey, let me go ahead, and I got this." Fam, cause look, man.
We talk about you know when you were in university and you're trying to get your engineering degree.
You're in an upper division class. Your professor hits you with an assignment where guess what?
Step one is learn a brand new coding language you never learned, and that's what you got to make
your assignment on. That's due on Friday. Now, by the way, you're getting this on Tuesday,
and you're like, hey guys, are you as fucked as me? Cause I'm fucked. Who's this guy?
Do you know who this guy is? Cause you're paired up in a group, and and he's like. You know, hi,
my my name's Phil, and you're like, oh shit, Phil, uh, are you fuck like me? He's like, oh no,
I wrote this when I was seven. Now it's the way my savant stage before I like, you know, uh,
moonlighted as a poet and a fucking you know mathematician in the in the far east, um,
and then decided to just you know land the plane a little bit. So anyway, Phil's a legend.
He's also. Isn't it cool? It's it's totally cool about all the legends in this room right now
and how we've all come together through X Spaces through the past few years
and our stories of yeah no I just did it that's me you know like 55 years old I did not plan on
right learning how to build a freaking data protection blockchain but kind of said I'm gonna do this
and I did it and here we are oh my god oh my god so what Phil what the story like what
he's saying about Phil and any of us all of us have a story or we wouldn't be here right now so
just Stephanie, you're like one of the people on the on the Bitcoin mailing list.
If you think about it, the people that are in this room right now, we're just a little further
along the adoption curve of cryptocurrency. Now it exists. Bitcoin has existed since you know
January third of two thousand and nine was when the when the chain launched,
and we all know about Halloween two thousand and eight. But that mailing list was around like
thirty something people. Right, and so think about this. Island Ghost is here with help of people
like Phil that are, you know, and all of us. This global community, and and the pioneers
and the innovators that are taking all these learnings from Bitcoin, from Cardano, from XRP,
and creating this open source, as we discussed earlier, we are unlocking privacy
for all these primary chains. We are creating privacy infrastructure that unites us all,
and then we rise commensurate with our market success. We actually have free markets and capitalism
and creativity that enriches the participants. And when we have these hard cap supply assets,
our supply and demand economics we escape the inflation from the fiat regime.
So there's so many pieces to this. Well, that's exactly how I got in 2009.
I I saw something happening. Like my nine-year-old son fomod me into mining Bitcoin in 2009,
and because I was like, I'm not putting I'm not putting my password and bank account on fricking,
whatever it was at the time that you needed to do it. And he's like, he came to me and he's like,
Hey, they've got this money. That they're making for the internet, it's called Bitcoin. And he goes,
and all you gotta do is mine it. You have to have the right computer, and you do these like learn
and earn things. And I was homeschooling him back in 2009, and I'm like, hell yeah, kid, do it.
And he goes, well, you gotta put your driver's license. You gotta prove whatever.
You gotta do these things. And he got real, and I gave him my driver's license. He got flustered.
I sat down in 2009, mind you, I was 49. I don't know. I was 39. I was I was a stay at home mom.
And was doing this for my kid to be able to KYC so he could mine it, and you know get some education
on learning all of this stuff. And instead, I got locked in. Man, I would be up all night, three,
four o'clock in the morning, using his using the only computer. And I'm taking these little quizzes,
and it was telling me about hashes and blockchain and all of this stuff,
and how it's going to make the internet secure. And I mean, I fell in. It took me months,
and I got twenty U.S. Dollars worth of Bitcoin, and Then shit happened. Computer got messed up.
Whatever, and so yeah. By the way, that bit was part of. I'm part of the original infrastructure,
is what I'm getting at. And so fast, fast forward to now. I mean, I should be a billionaire
with my feet up right now, but instead, I fucked up somewhere down the line,
and computer's all screwed up. Whatever, but now I know how to do it. And if it wasn't for Satoshi
in 2009, ah, and doing that learn and earn, now we're fast forwarding. Those nine year olds
are now like 25, and they've got this technology, and they get a chance to do it over again
with Kind of clarity, so yeah, let's go. I'm super bullish, and I'm
super happy to have met everybody in this room. Me too, Alan. It's a it's an honor
and a privilege to be up here just vibing with you. Cause like, while it's really cool
that we come together with this intention, be like, hey, it just is so dope, man.
We're people from who who knows how many different countries. Like, I see our boy Jayola down there.
That our brother's coming straight from Africa, yo. We got Africa here, man.
We got folks that are like in the Netherlands and shit. Like, man. We get, you know,
that is just so cool. And so much information, it's unstoppable, man. And yeah,
money never money never sleeps. Money never sleeps. And the fact that we found all
of these like-minded people during the bear market. I mean, CK and I were freaking space hopping,
doing karaoke and shit, getting kicked out of stages, just having fun.
But we all had the same vision. The vision was data protection, Web three. Let's go.
So it's our time, man. Our tokens are rising. Our security is coming up.
Communities are coming together. This is going to be, in my opinion, the last real pump pull run.
Before institutions take over, so make sure if you've been holding on this long,
take a little bit of profit. Enjoy your life now. Don't you know? Enjoy your life now. Yeah,
like definitely, this is going to be the bull run where we see the the institutions,
which is why I think it's going to be unprecedented. So to that point, right?
We know we're coming out of crypto week in the U.S. We unexpectedly got Genius Act passed, guys.
And what does that mean? This is now lining up the Clarity Act and the Anti-CBDC Act.
So for those that haven't maybe been following along with what's going on in the U.S., the agenda
the last week was three items. The the Genius Act, the Clarity Act, and anti CBDC.
They got one not only passed both the House and the Senate, but it got signed into law. So huzzah,
one of three down. The next major piece that's kind of all in one because the anti CBDC is more
a declaration of like anti intention, right? Like it's basically saying we will not allow
the issuance of this thing. But there's a lot less like sausage making.
Whereas the Clarity Bill guys, that's why a lot of the big money in the suits,
they're they're probably going to game some folks on the Genius Act. But but I actually still think
there's probably a pretty healthy God candle banked into just that alone.
But but they're saying that the Clarity Act is going to be a major catalyst because that gives
the what's the difference between Bitcoin and and and a meme coin versus a utility coin
and all these things. So then, once the the structure of the market has clarity,
that is when you see crazy mooning because then all these powers that be know the full sort
of extent of where they can move, how many levers they can pull, where they can take advantage,
where they can book their profits and stuff. So, yeah, the best is actually yet to come. So
as Island Ghost is saying, definitely do take profits because we are going to see unprecedented,
you know. So so don't don't sell too early, but DCA out just like you DCA in, right? You know,
there's there's famous stories. I'll land the plane on this. There's famous stories of people
having like you know a couple hundred bucks of like say uh uh Pepe, right?
And then it goes to overnight, it's like five thousand dollars, and they're like, oh shit,
you know it was fifty dollars, now it's five thousand, you know, and then they sold it, right?
And then sixty days later, right, it's one point two million kind of thing, right?
I think that is what we're gonna see. If you're looking at the Litecoin chart right now,
it's that kind of shit. We're gonna see some of these step functions in the market
where the the whole rising tide lifts all ships. I think we're gonna have a couple events
because there are still catalysts to come, right? Like the whole tariffs. If you've noticed.
Tariffs are, in my opinion, tariffs are the stick. Crypto is the carrot.
He knows he can fuck up the the fiat regime because it's already dying, right?
So the tariffs are just an auspice to renegotiate dying contracts in a dying system. Other hand,
and what we're now beginning to see is the carrot side, right? What what kind of tax advantages
for small businesses can we get in the United States? Could you imagine what would happen to
the price if he suddenly said, okay, if you were in a coffee shop, a pizza shop in America,
a donut shop? If you are buying your your ingredients, you're running your business in Bitcoin
and cryptocurrency, zero taxes or zero capital gains for small businesses under five million.
That kind of shit. That's a fifty thousand, you know, kind of get off.
And then what I think they're going to get, we're going to probably get an announcement
about international trade with China, Russia, these countries, these BRICS nations, right?
Where it's like, oh, they want a different currency. Guess what they're going to say? Oil
and international trade is now advantage to Bitcoin. And then we get a hundred thousand dollar
situation. That kind of thing, guys. Would people ask like, "What is Bitcoin going to hit by the end
of the year?" I say right now between 150 and 172. However, there are at least three catalysts
that could do those step functions where it raises the market by 100k plus. Okay,
and one of those is like international trade stuff. So I'm going to land the plane there.
So bullish. Do not get shook. Don't don't leave the game too early. Start DCAing, you know,
sensibly. Keep doing your research, and yeah, we have freedom to win here, guys.
There is games of chess with this midnight airdrop that everyone you can have no cryptocurrency
to your name, and in the next ninety days, roughly, you know, give or take about a week, ten days,
you will have thirty days to get crypto for free that you could turn into freedom.
That that airdrop. You could play chess and become free within who knows what it is.
Maybe it's ten years. Maybe it's a year. I don't know. But let's have this adventure together,
and I'm excited. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. And you made a couple points real quick.
Sorry, I heard I was getting DMs that my mic was giving me some echo. But you know,
the stablecoin act was one of the things that that was brought up. And you know,
XRP's already got an RLU state. These stablecoins are going to make a difference. So I mean,
there's just so much bullish stuff going on. And I really appreciate every one of you. And CK,
thank you for everything that you do. And people that that are Listening to us,
thanks for showing up, man. We're going to continue doing these once a week.
We're going to make sure that everyone understands what this airdrop means.
What's the significance of midnight? Why is it important to understand what he's talking about
with Bitcoin? Why is it understand? You know, whatever. So just keep coming back.
There's a lot more coming, and we're going to help every one of you. I'll be able to facilitate
this free airdrop. And BK just rubbed Shankus here, saying I'm gonna let you up,
but it better be fun and not ugly. And I got Gold Rush up here as well. So these are my trolls.
These are my favorite shows that have made me stronger every day, and I,
I go into their spaces just to, just to, just have some fun. So I appreciate them showing up here
and, Gold Rush. You had something you want to add, but Snakeball just want to say,
I didn't even realize I was on stage. So, typical, typical Gold Rush. All right, everybody.
Thank you guys for showing up. Okay, Rob. Buka Buka forever. Let's go. Let's go. Thanks again.
