mike can you hear us
yeah you're good all right is that just you oh did you did you ask me something uh my thing was
i said uh is the develop account also you? Yeah, it's me. Okay.
Let me just add Quantum as a co-host from my phone.
Give me a sec. Yeah, we're going to get started in a few minutes, waiting for some of our partners
to join, and then we'll get started.
Linda, can you hear us
mike can you hear no i was like damn i'm rugged but no
yeah it it shows on mute and then it doesn't we don't hear anything yeah damn i swear to god like
i host so many casual spaces and it never rugs and whenever i have to actually announce something
it rugs everybody yeah every single time for real I'm also waiting for Damien and David as well.
So we'll give them some time.
Mike, how are you doing, man?
I'm doing good, bro.
I'm feeling good.
It's a great day today.
There's a lot of stuff that we're dropping and
i'm excited to talk about mariah bajow as well dude the just like while we have you know some
some intro time do you want to talk about uh your experience with bali last year and how
that trip changed your life and maybe you, somebody listening below will be like,
oh, maybe I should go to Baja.
And yeah, treat myself.
Yeah, it quite literally changed my life.
So it really, it was so random too, bro.
It started from just speaking on spaces, right?
And you doing a little friendly bullying like hey you
should get your passport bro I was like oh maybe I should just maybe that's
financial advice it is that is so he's like yeah maybe you should get your
password just come I was like you know I like like why not just I only wanted to
go just to solely treat myself content never left the country like why not
and um it was a crazy experience just everything we did in itself was freaking crazy um I I was
super jet-lagged like because I had never flown that long but you know the dinners the people
the everything we did like the activities it was it just, I don't know, there are really no words to describe it other than crazy.
Like, it was such an experience.
And, yeah, just meeting people there, getting to chat, really gave me the opportunity to even work in this space.
I had like a five-minute conversation with Healthy.
It was like, yo, like...
Dude, those five, and those changed your life.
Literally.
So if anyone is considering going,
like, I honestly, I would,
because just me going to this one event
led to where I am today
and, like, super blessed, super grateful.
And I don't know, anything can happen, bro.
You can meet anyone, anywhere.
Bro, Mike went from flying,
getting his passport for the first time
to flying first class around the world.
If that's not,
I'm working for the biggest casino in Sui.
So, props to you.
Linda, are you here with us now?
Hey guys, I'm here.
Can you hear me?
Yes, there we go.
Yes, we can hear you now.
How are you doing?
I'm doing great. You know, you think like, you know, Indonesia Yes, there we go. Yes, we can hear you now. Sorry. How are you doing? I'm doing great.
You know, you think like, you know, Indonesia has unstable Wi-Fi.
Wait until you get to Italy, guys.
The world.
NGO is, yeah.
I don't know if it's...
NGO, how are you running these events?
Like, I don't understand.
Yeah, he's not.
Let's talk about real things.
We have...
Today we're talking about Mirai Bajia guys,
an experience curated by Quantum Temple.
Linda, our partners.
We have to...
We're going to be waiting a few minutes
for the bucket team and the Lofi team.
So while we wait for that, Linda,
do you want to give yourself an intro for those of you
that live under a rock?
LINDA LORENZOVA- Sounds great.
Thank you so much.
First and foremost, we're so tremendously excited to be here
hosting this space today with you, Kotaro, Studio Mirai,
and all of our partners at Mirai Bajo that we're going to be
introducing. A little bit about us. I'm Linda, I'm the founder and CEO of Quantum Temple. For anyone
that doesn't know, Quantum Temple creates culture-led, luxury-crafted, regenerative travel
experiences that are also built on a sweet blockchain and more recently integrating
also AI in our tech stack.
We partner with amazing brands like Studio Mirai to deliver unique journeys that truly
inspire purpose and force deep connection among the participants.
And as we will, you know, discuss during this space,
you know, one of our key, I think, differentiators
is that we have a key approach
to integrating global destinations
and federal governments,
as well as like grassroots community members
into everything we do.
And what that does is that it elevates these experiences
to create something that you as a traveler around the world cannot get on your own.
So we have privileged access to World Heritage Sites in a number of destinations. And then on
top of that, when it comes to our local community partnerships,
we're able to ensure that what we call cultural keepers,
those local custodians of traditions and culture, are becoming hosts and not just being there,
but truly sharing themselves authentically and sharing their culture with us.
So we have been very honored and privileged to work side by side, Kotar and
Studio Mirai over the last year. It has been an amazing journey to be together, to bring the
community together, IRL, in these amazing experiences that started in Bali, just like last
year after Token 2049. And here's stories like mike you know that was completely changed uh throughout
this process was uh incredibly fulfilling for all of us um and and kind of seeing the growth
from mirai valley to this year in mirai dubai for anyone that has joined or i've seen like the
day band was like amazing and um you know we we brought uh everyone everyone together around the day before base camp.
And then finally, as I'll stop here, but working together on Mirai Badger, which is our biggest
ambition to date, the largest independent Sui community gathering that we've ever done,
led by Sui Mirai, which has federal government backing.
So I'll stop there and I'll let the guys go ahead as well.
Thanks so much.
There's too much alpha there.
We're going to be diving a bit deeper into the itinerary as well as some of the experiences
diving into the event.
Before we continue,
by the way, I have no idea where David is.
Whenever he shows up, we'll go to him.
But I want to introduce Damien,
who is from Bucket Protocol.
They are our diamond sponsors for this event.
We literally, this event could not have happened
without their support.
And they also support us for Mirai Bali, which is kind of like the test,
you know, like our first event that was independent from a conference.
But Damon, you want to give yourself a quick introduction?
We don't hear you if you're talking or is it just me?
No, I can't oh damn why is he's still a listener oh he's a listener
uh he shows up as a speaker for me
yeah twitter is bragging really hard you don't have to restart
in here yeah twitter is right getting really hard you have to restart
did this happens like it happened with linda bro it's only the people with roadcasters that don't
get rugged that's the alpha yeah um well while we wait for damien mike would you like to give
yourself an intro for sure um so my name is mike or my cam't miss content creator on Sui and oh
Damien's here or Damien yes
continue then we'll hop to Damien
for sure for sure
I'm also on the double up team
head of marketing and business development
just joined January of this year
let me stack that resume
just joined earlier this year. Let me stack that resume.
Just joined earlier this year in January
and yeah, just
I don't know, just here
trying to grow the platform
and create
entertaining videos for everyone.
100%. Damien,
would you like to give yourself a quick
introduction?
Hey everyone, I'm Damien, would you like to give yourself a quick introduction? Hey, everyone. I'm Damien.
That's as quick as it gets. All right. Let's dive into the actual space.
Wait. Damien needs no introduction. That's why.
Yeah. Everyone, I think, that's why. Yeah.
Everyone, I think, knows everyone on the stage.
This is just for anybody that is stumbling in from outside of Sui.
So diving into the space,
I want to kind of start off with talking about the theme of the event.
So Mirai Bajo is going to be centered
around celebrating culture, celebrating community, and celebrating the social layer. Linda, do you
want to talk a little bit about kind of how quantum connects with culture, part of that?
part of that.
Yeah, absolutely.
So definitely one of the values that we share with Studio Mirai
is that deep focus on culture immersions and community connection,
which exists among the community members of Studio Mirai,
but then is also translated in those, you know,
real authentic connections that are happening on the ground in the destination we visit.
And we get to travel together through the Studio Mirai travel experiences.
And so when we design Mirai Bajo, obviously, like, thinking about how we integrate local communities has always been, like, paramount.
And if you guys have seen the itineraryary which we can also kind of briefly cover next you will see that every single day uh we're actually
we have invited uh different community members from labanbajo and also beyond
other parts of indonesia to spotlight and truly integrate uh that cultural heritage and storytelling
within the throughout the throughout
the journey and if you want Kotaro can share a little bit about the destination which I know for
some of you is very known might be completely unknown or maybe known I'm not sure but it's
definitely not like the most visited destination within Indonesia which is why we we actually picked
it last year we started in Bali.
Look, I just want to talk about my first experience seeing this venue.
When we were discussing where we were going this year to be like our flagship event,
last year, Bali was crazy, right?
It was, we had like three villas.
It was like four or five villas, actually.
They're all like around the same area.
We had like a, like pretty much, we partied every single night.
But like, you know, relatively not going crazy.
But we got to see, you know, a lot of Bali, the culture side.
We had a lot of like intimate experiences, private experiences.
The food was really good, especially that last place.
And the venue was like insane to me,
like never experiencing it before.
When she showed me Bajo, I was like,
what the hell is this?
I was like, how, first of all, how are we going to get there?
I was like, how, first of all, how are we going to get there?
And he's like, oh, let me get to that.
But like there is freaking pirate ships.
There's like a crazy island.
There's Komodo dragons.
There's so many things at this event, which I just can't simply grasp.
So I was pretty much like, you you know linda you you know right uh i think for the
first like four months of meetings i was just like what like what the heck is going on i was like
this isn't real uh so yeah i'm just gonna add that there and then linda you can continue
yeah no absolutely and i think it's it's amazing that we ended up choosing Bajo and you, you know, truly resonated with this place.
Like Labon Bajo is, hands down, incredible. Like, fact. I've been there at this point, I think, more than five times.
Completely obsessed. And definitely, I think it's going to be one of the most, you know, prominent up-and-coming destinations within Indonesia.
going to be one of the most prominent up-and-coming destinations within Indonesia.
And the fact that we're going right there, this is not a very visited destination.
It's just starting, it's not even trending, it's like before the trend, right?
So we have the privilege to actually see it as a group and as a community member for the
very first time with our eyes, especially with our curation. And this is why, because Quantum Temple works very closely
with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia,
we have been able to activate the destination in a way that has never been done before,
from their side and also for us being able to come in and experience
us being able to come in and experience all of the different activation that will happen.
all of the different activations that will happen.
But La Bombaggio is set within the Komodo National Park. So if anyone has ever done any geography or
I don't know, biology classes, like you see the Komodo dragons are obviously a key attraction
and feature, but it doesn't stop there. There's like some of the most incredible underwaters in the world.
If you're like snorkeling or diving, I actually don't even dive myself,
but just through snorkeling, I've been able to see like giant manta rays,
which was like definitely a peak experience in my life.
And just seeing beautiful corals and overall, you know, underwater wildlife.
just in beautiful corals and overall, you know, underwater wildlife.
There's also pink beaches in La Bambajo.
Like the sand is actually pink color because of the coral.
And many other things that I don't think I can share or want to tell you
because, you know, there's a lot that will happen.
But all in all, it's definitely one of the most exciting destinations for me personally as a traveler and definitely for us to visit as a community.
So we're really excited to get integrated and to also get really close to the local community members.
Yeah, I'll stop there.
Otherwise, I'm going to tell you with too many things.
Yeah, that's the best for the later for the for the space. I do want to kind of dive a
bit into kind of tangible memories. And like tangible experiences, because I think with,
you know, all of the partners are involved with with Bucket with Lofi with DoubleUp,
there is some line of IRL experiences
that all of these projects have done.
So I think when it comes to holding a NFT,
I think tangible experience is super important, right?
Something that you can hold, something that you can feel,
something that you can experience.
It has to be beyond financial gains
and just floor price go up, art go up, right?
So for Mirai, we really doubled down
on kind of two of these tangible experiences.
We have some, I probably would say,
probably some of the craziest IRL experiences on Sui.
And we also dive really heavily into our merchandise.
And I kind of want to ask this to you know to our partners as well
I'll start with Mike on this one
why do you think in real life events matter
so much on Web3
because you guys also do a lot right
yeah we tend to do some events
like on the music side of things
but I honestly think
in real life events matter so much more
because you get a genuine connection with that person.
Like things can only go so far through spaces or just reading a post or DMs, whatever the case may be.
But when you're in person, like, I don't know, you get to read body language.
You get to form a genuine connection, have real conversations and just get to know the person more like on an intimate level instead of just hey
we're friends on twitter let's repost each other you know it just goes so much further bro and
things can things can change things can happen and it just goes such a long way so so you mean
you don't appreciate when people comment on your post at Grok, what does this mean?
That's not tangible experience? That's crazy.
I want to also forward this question to Damien,
because I know you focus a lot on, like, pretty much every single major SUI conference,
there's always an event that Bucket does,
as well as I know you guys do some, like,
IRL retreats with your team as well.
You know, for you, I guess a different question that's similar.
When's the last time that you felt genuinely connected at a crypto event?
The last one would be Sweetbase Camp, I believe.
It's in April, right?
Not much bigger than after that. I've actually been to five countries last
month, but it's more like visiting the direct contact, like direct person I want to meet.
And you know, usually this kind of visiting, like especially for business,
sometimes it's pretty tense
and you can't really relax.
So I would say like having this kind of IRL event,
especially when you are just chilling
in a very far country, I would say.
It's actually good for...
I think...
I've been working for the past two years,
day and night.
Average sleeping time was like four hours a day.
And so after like one and a half year, last year's event was the
first time I relaxed. And there were a lot of cool experience I've never imagined,
but I will keep that secret, of formally people to join us.
But I do not just sponsor this event because of our friendship, right?
I really love the event.
That's why I sponsored that.
Damien, you need to sleep more, bro.
Like this guy has the money bags coming from his eyes
is getting too big.
That's why his PFP is a panda.
Appreciate you, Damien.
I think that statement is very strong.
A lot of people that I talk to,
whenever you go to a crypto conference,
it's nonstop, especially Basecamp.
Basecamp was wild.
Like every single minute you talk to someone, talk to someone, talk to someone.
Like you can't even escape somewhere.
You escape somewhere, you find someone and then you talk and talk and talk.
It's like very exhausting.
And I think like because this event is not at a conference, right?
It's independent.
There's no sui events there at that time.
You can actually truly enjoy it
and meet a lot of the holders
that are kind of in our community.
So going to the next section,
I want to talk about some of the attendees
that will be attending kind of like,
you know, people that you should expect
to come to those events.
We have people literally flying from everywhere.
Like, I looked at the attendee list recently, like a few nights ago.
And we have like, so usually when we host events, like last year, Bali, we had most of the people from APAC, right?
And there was like one per one like one random kid from miami but like he's you know
he's irrelevant uh but like most of the people were from apac um or traveling from apac uh because
most of them were at singapore and like that was our first event. And then we had Mirai Dubai, which was at Basecamp at a suite conference.
This event, we have people flying from the Americas, from Europe, from Asia, from Dubai,
from, from middle, like, you know, you know, like everywhere.
And it's kind of crazy to see all these people coming together to, you know,
to attend like a NFT event. Like it's kind of crazy. And the coolest thing here is that,
you know, people joke with us that our community is called Studio Boomer,
because a lot of the people in our community have kids, they have, you know, families.
A lot of them are bringing them, you know, like we have a good amount the people in our community have kids, they have families. A lot of them are bringing them.
We have a good amount of people that are bringing their partners,
bringing their children.
The event is family-friendly.
When's the last crypto event that you've heard of
that people are bringing their partners and their kids?
That is absolutely insane.
Mike, what do you think about that?
Because you have both.
Yeah, I think it's super cool, right?
I'm going to be bringing my family alongside with me.
So I think it's amazing that I get to show them an experience
that they've never, like, seen, experienced, nothing ever before.
Like, they've never left the experience or nothing ever before like they've
never left the country bro they have no idea what to expect and the fact that i know studio mariah
quantum like you guys do everything on such a big scale it just like it was a no-brainer for me like
why not have them experience something so good so great and just um like for their first time ever
leaving the country uh i'm super excited for that would you
have ever thought that holding a robot would let your family go to a secluded dragon island
hell no with the government and marriott heck no bro it's crazy or like even for you to feel
comfortable be like hey uh do you want to travel the world at this NFT event?
Like, how did you ask your family?
Like, how did you describe this event?
So it's a little weird because they still don't understand like what I do for work.
It's just that I work on a computer and crypto and stuff.
And so I was like, hey, mom, I'm going to be going to Indonesia, to Bajo.
And I'd love for you to come.
She's like, why are you going there?
I was like, oh, it's going to be a cool event.
We're going to hang out, quote, unquote, work, right?
Like, it's work, work, work, sure.
And she's like, okay, like, sure.
I'd love to see what you guys do because she really has no idea. I was like, yeah, mom, but. I'd love to see, like, what you guys do. Because she really has no idea.
I was like, yeah, mom, but it's going to be more so just relax.
I want you to be able to enjoy the scenery, enjoy the experience.
Bro, she's going to see you laughing hysterically,
like the evil laugh while you play poker.
That's exactly what you do for work.
And there's going to be, like, seven cameras on you.
She's going to be like, oh, interesting.
I think, Linda, do you have anything to add to this topic?
Yeah, for us, it's just incredible, right, to hear Mike's story.
And we have plenty of more that we will not share to respect other community
members' privacy, but like just, you know, even for me, you know, as a community member
to know that this community has brought so much more to the table than, you know, holding
a PFP and what that translates into in terms of like in real life connection, but also that shared
value that can be appreciated. It's just, yeah, it's just incredible. Like, like hands down.
Yeah. It just so to show you like, this is not just an event, you know, this is something that
can truly change your life. And that's a fact like Mike is like i think a living demonstration of that um i would say that
if you're interested in coming to baju and you're wondering what that's like to be bringing your
family your wife your kids like there's a full infrastructure for you and we can share a little
bit more details about how that works and how we can make it comfortable but plenty of guests
that have already reserved are actually bringing their families, their wives.
And I think it's also a beautiful opportunity.
A lot of us, we don't get to share our professional life
with our significant others or with our family.
And it's a great opportunity to gently inviting them
into our world and get them to understand a bit more
of who we are and kind of get inviting them into our world and get them to understand a bit more of who we are
and kind of get to know everyone. So it's, yeah, super excited to kind of be able to facilitate that.
Yeah, I think like over the years, I've pissed off a lot of people's wives because, like, you know,
there are people who spend so much time in our discord discord going doing random wheels and playing random games and
they're like it's like three in the morning for them uh and like i've had a few they're like oh
is he talking to kotaro again like like like i've had a few of those uh so and some of them i'm
going to meet so that should be interesting um but we have we have uh david uh David joining us here. David, how are you doing?
How's everyone doing?
I've been at it nonstop today for the last couple hours.
And I was like, oh my gosh, this call ran long.
I'm missing a space with all my friends here.
And if you could hear this cat in the background, the cat needs my attention too.
So too many things to do on a Tuesday morning.
But there's uh there's
never a dull moment in crypto and i'll tell you what we are going to give away i think
some some tickets to some of these events that are coming up in singapore i know we're talking
about the mariah bajou experience but we're planning we're doing lots of planning and i want
to say thank you so much
to Quantum Temple for always being kind of that lighthouse for either Lofi or Studio Mirai in
terms of what we should do, how we should do it. And Kotar, I can't thank you enough as well for
being really the brains behind these events. I've sent this experience to so many people
and they've been, I think all just in shock.
I can't believe you guys are doing this.
this is so cool.
And so it goes back to what you said at a Mirai Dubai,
which is it's a,
there's a bigger event,
an event that's coming.
That'll be much bigger than Mirai Dubai.
Dubai was a,
it wasn't an experience in itself.
So Dubai was crazy.
It was crazy. Dubai crazy dubai was uh
uh five five hours of fun and five hours of motion sickness for me
i was ko'd from walking in sand and from that freaking buggy that buggy killed me
that was the worst decision i made that day they that that ride linda it would have been great if me and mike switched seats okay like
me and me and trevin were sitting in the back and i'm like almost six feet and my knees were like
up to my face and mike was just chilling with like first class seating in the front i was just like
why is this guy in the front why is the why is the smallest dude in the front of the car? But it is what it is.
You had no choice.
David, we were talking earlier about tangible experiences in this space, right?
Kind of went around the room talking about what IRL experience means for people, right?
From all the projects involved, we always try to incorporate the in real life aspect.
So the question is, why do you think like, you know, like this is a pretty like standard question, I think.
But I think when you come to think of ecosystems in SWE and like kind of seeing, you know, what a lot of the projects in Solana or in ETH,
like the big NFT projects, they do like crazy in real life experiences, right? Bringing in the brand,
bringing in the IP, bringing their community together. I think for SWE, we definitely need
a lot more of these. And I think, you know, the people on this stage are definitely the ones that
are kind of pioneering this move. But why do you think in real life events matter
more than I think, obviously,
maybe in real life standalone events, not conferences.
So like not including conferences, maybe like side events or
events such like these.
Yeah, and you're asking
why do they matter more versus like digital or why do they matter
more for crypto in general i think why they matter more uh in general in the sense that like we're
not talking about crypto conferences like we're not talking about base camp um but we're talking
about like maybe the side event that's at base camp or like um you know me right goodbye or like our standalone
yeah i think the the easiest way to kind of answer that is like conferences bring it they
bring a little bit of like a like a preset almost mode to you mentally like you're you know you're
there are you there to do business are you there to just meet people and party like what's you know what's what's the real deal with the conference and i feel like at
crypto conferences there is a lot of there's a lot of fun to be had but i think that when you put
together an experience like we did at mariah dubai or mariah bajow I think ultimately people, I think the type of connection is more authentic. I think the type
of connection leads to things that you can do in the future with one another, whether it's in DeFi,
outside of DeFi. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if there's people that have met at crypto
conferences or crypto side events, I'd probably say more side events that have ended up becoming lifelong
friends, or maybe partners, or working together. So I think that these standalone events,
they just bring a different vibe. There's a bit of a different essence.
And I think it's also less people like, oh, I got to see this person talking at 4pm. And
I can't miss this this side event.
I think sometimes the conferences, they get kind of crazy.
And this isn't just in crypto.
I mean, all tech conferences are they're a bit hectic.
But when you have an experience and you have this this gathering where you can kind of connect with people, maybe your stress levels aren't high.
Maybe you're, you know, you're more relaxed you're more authentic i feel like those are the type of connections where
you can truly walk away from the event or from that gathering with maybe something you learn
maybe you know a new person that you met that you want to build with so i just think they i think
they lead to better outcomes i think that's ultimately what I'm getting at.
Yeah, for sure. I think for Bajo, if you want to sleep in until 3 p.m. and miss everything because you're floating in your private pool in your room, you can do that.
No pressure, right?
I think the itinerary is going to be really fun.
We're going to dive a bit deeper into that
But before we dive deeper into that
I want to give all of our partners
A little bit of spotlight real quick
I'm going to start with Damien
Damien, do you have any things you want to talk about
Regarding Bucket?
I know there's may or may not be Alpha
It's a recorded space
So do that with caution.
So there are several stuffs we are working on.
I know we do not have that much update on the token side.
It's more like user experience upgrade that's how but that's how i see we can scale
and onboard new users so it's all about user experience user education something like that
but uh we've settled that down already and now we are moving on to Tokenstuffs and also new use case for the stablecoin.
For those who did not know what Bucket is, we provide a yield for your stablecoin deposits.
On the other hand, you can leverage your position, like you borrow our stablecoin out against your collateral while you need liquidity, but you don't want to sell your assets.
And for those who stake their stablecoins, I know there are a lot of people who want to pay with their stablecoin while they are earning, so they don't have to off-ramp their stablecoin. We are working on that.
there will be a debit card.
We are working on that.
Let's see how we can work together
with Quantum Temple and
CIGMR as well.
Yeah, I think I've been using Bucket
like since the super, super OG days
when the like, I've been doing the
APY post for a long time.
bull market plan, my bull market
exit plan is to throw everything in
the bucket.
So that's, there's really no, no plan.
It's just everything in the bucket.
Thank you very much.
I think, uh, we can kind of be the, like the card provider so you can issue the card to
your community and they can spend with their SBUC.
Is this alpha?
We're working on that.
We're using a metaphor.
That's the...
It's just so casual, you just drop the alpha?
That'd be pretty cool.
Yeah, so you don't have to off-ramp that every time you want to spend it.
I think that's a game changer for Bucket, and that's also going to bring a lot of users
So let's see.
I have so many ideas.
I'll chat with you after this, Damien.
Sounds good.
Do you have any other things
that you want to talk about?
So that's the biggest thing
I want to share.
I'll keep the rest secret.
Awesome, awesome.
David, do you want to share anything
that Lofi is building?
Maybe if you want to talk about
some things to look for in the next few months,
especially leading up to October, anything you want to share?
Well, I think the first thing is we just rolled out a beta version of Lofi Legends,
which is essentially a way for people that are in our community,
rejoin the community to be able to see where they rank,
which ways they can level up in a sense.
It's a fandom platform.
And in this platform,
we will include and integrate
many different types of tech integrations in the future,
as well as partnerships that we're working through.
So I think it's going to become a way for us
to kind of map out digitally the Lofiverse or the Lofi ecosystem. And I don't know who's seen this,
but there's been some great things going on with SWNS and all the subdomains there. So maybe I'll
leave it at that, but we're excited to do a lot of really cool things with Lofi Legends. Again,
it isn't beta testing because we had weeks, weeks of issues
with APIs and Web 2 configurations that just don't work. And it makes me realize every day,
you know, this is why Web 3 is needed. It's permissionless and we can build things quickly
and ship things quickly. So that platform is live. We are still having people that are, you know,
slowly donating to the Lofi Foundation.
And so we're continuing to build water wells in Pakistan. And the water well in Puerto Rico is coming to a close here.
The builders are certainly on island time.
So we are finishing that water well.
And I'm hoping to do something very cool.
Maybe we shouldn't release the alpha there yet,
but around a water initiative in Asia,
that would be our big push in quarter three and quarter four.
And Lofi has a pretty strong Asian community.
We've done a lot of events and a lot of partnerships and collaborations with
people that are building in Asia,
whether it's in the Philippines or Vietnam,
et cetera.
And we'd love to expand our brand globally, but at the end of the day, we want to make an impact,
a real world impact globally. So we've done some water wells in Africa, I guess technically in Asia
and Pakistan, but Southeast Asia would be awesome. So that's what's on the horizon for the Lofi
Foundation. And then our more, I guess,
tech-related arm or development arm, Lofi Labs is rolling out some pretty cool things here. I think
I'll have more alpha for everyone on that in August as we wrap up the building. And the last
thing I'll say is we're kind of creating this road to Bajo. And we have an event in New York in about three weeks.
Lofi's partnering with a nonprofit organization there
to help bring education and educational materials
into the city of New York
alongside some of the big players there.
So that's going to be early August.
We're hoping to set up a smaller gathering,
more of a personal, intimate one,
in Chicago or Toronto with the support of Sui and some other large ecosystem players.
So that would be in September.
And then Mirai Bajo, of course, in October.
And then after that, we'll have an event in the U.S. where it will be a co-host.
host. So as Kotaro said, there is a difference, of course, between having these conferences or
these meetups versus a more intimate gathering. And I think we're trying to do a little bit of
both to expand the brand and also to support the people like Studio Mirai and some of our
other partners that are doing such a great job, I think, of spearheading or leading this concept that decentralized communities or people that are just building in DeFi can also be a leader.
They can be a force in the real world and they can kind of create a hub for people to learn what Web3 is, what crypto is, and maybe get others interested.
So we're being supportive and we're also trying to set up some of our own events.
So that's about as much as I can give you.
Yeah, there's a lot of cool cultural things
that we're planning for Bajo,
especially with Lofi Foundation that I cannot share.
It's like, it's just got to hit you afterwards.
But I want Linda to talk about just briefly
before we move on to Mike. Just briefly before we uh you know move on
to mike um just briefly because we're on the topic of lofi foundation uh linda do you want to talk
about our the relationship with the ministry of tourism ministry of creative economy uh and sort
of you know things that we're maybe planning for the fishermen uh locally as well yeah that sounds
great um yeah so quantum tempo has been a partner of the
Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy since 2022. We were, I think, the first ever kind of
travel blockchain company to do that. And it has been so amazing to be able to work bottom up in
Indonesia and see, you know, real impact being translated on the
ground with initiatives such as like Mirai Bali and now, you know, Mirai Baljo. So the ministry
is very, very close with us. And when we brought this opportunity to the table with Mirai Baljo,
they were incredibly supportive to not only endorse it, but fully champion it. So the Ministry of Wonderful Indonesia,
which is the Tourism Board,
and then the Ministry of Creative Economy
is actually a partner of the event.
And Her Excellency Irene Omar,
the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy,
is actually going to come to the event
for some of the activations.
Fun fact about her, she took office just like last year in October,
as there's been a new president that has took charge and therefore a new cabinet.
But the most exciting thing I would say about her and her mandate is actually
her background on a personal side is actually she, her background
on a personal side is that she's a Web3 gamer. So she's not like this, like very traditional,
you know, institutional, you know, government official, but she's, you know, when I see her
in her office in Jakarta, she's normally wearing, you know, her sweatshirt and she's like very low key and she's a very wholesome
person. And you guys are going to really love engaging with her, getting her feedback, especially
for anyone that is interested in like thinking about coming to Indonesia, not only to connect
with the community of Studio Mirai, but then also thinking about Indonesia as a market of target for your own companies, right?
Like Indonesia is one of the fastest growing economy, 270 million people that are mostly below 30 years old.
So in terms of even like adoption potential for anything we're building, I think it's definitely one of the core market to consider. And so when we worked with
the ministry, we really thought about how can we bring that perspective? And she will be sharing
what's happening on the policy side, how can you guys integrate in Indonesia, if that's obviously
something that you're interested in, and overall support a lot of our cultural initiatives that we're going to be leading on the ground,
which we cannot really share.
So if you guys have any questions,
like feel free to reach out about how that works,
even if there's anything you want to learn beforehand,
I'm happy to do that as well.
Amazing, amazing.
Yeah, there's definitely like,
I think like cultural sidewise,
I don't think I've ever seen any projects so tapped in
with what is actually going on.
Because there's travel agencies,
they set you up with tour guides,
but the tour guides that Quantum has,
that I've experienced with in both Bali and Dubai,
they're like Michelin chefs,
or they're like theelin chefs or they're like uh they like
you know they're like the ruler of the land you know like it's it's like not the normal
horror guide for sure it's uh it's some it's definitely some connection stuff um mike do you
want to briefly talk about things that are coming up for for double up and the alpha to share i know
you guys are literally hitting all-time high after all-time high every single day i can't hear i it's i'll never hear the end of it bro uh in all of my
dms but what is going on dude with with double up i am so excited with things that are happening
right now today and for what we have coming in the future um i guess to start with today we have a music video dropping with bobby schmarta
and ted park we so we we've tend to to do a lot of collaborations in the music industry
featuring mike though right featuring mike bro i will out there's something about mike in there
bro yeah we'll see it today and um in a couple of hours at 5 p.m est i'm super excited for that to come out
because um i don't know i just as a protocol i think we're one of the few bucket being another
um protocols that like are able to just be understood by every yeah yeah yeah um and be understood by by everyone even outside of crypto
right like people can understand stablecoin like yield like dollar yield people all can also
understand sports betting or just casino in general right um so we plan on branching out of
you know just not being inside of not only sweet but crypto like
we want to bring on more people into the industry into sweet into the ecosystem as a whole but yeah
we're we've been seeing a lot of a lot of growth and double up and i'm super excited to be part of
that we're about to hit a million dollars in revenue this month we're bro i i will not shut up about it i've bothered everyone in the office today
so many you do like a crazy dance in public video when you hit a million i'm so down you know that
dance you did with uh your delorean hair oh shite yeah when you hear it's what bro like you gotta do
that dance and just like match cut it all across New York City. Times Square. You got to do it everywhere.
Do it on the bridge.
Do it at Dumbo.
You got to do it everywhere.
Do it while holding Boba in K-Town.
Like, you got to do it, dude.
I'm down, bro.
You got to do it.
Like, just...
You just got to do it.
I'm so down.
It just blows my mind, bro.
We're, like, $7,000 away from hitting a mill.
It's just crazy, like, being part of the team only for seven months but seeing the growth that we've
had it's insane but um we're also going to be doing a lot of really cool stuff uh throughout
the next coming weeks and months um a couple of being you know the bigger events like kbw we're
going to do some stuff there we haven't really announced anything and i can't go into detail yet
but as we get closer to it i'll start announcing some stuff but we'll definitely be doing some
stuff at kbw we'll definitely be doing some stuff at uh at singapore and um bajo is gonna be
an insane experience bro i'm i'm looking forward to it so much like i don't know we have a lot of
stuff cooking on the platform we got some movies in in Bajo, bro. I'm down.
Let's do it.
It's some super cinematic stuff.
I think, honestly, Double Up is probably one of the teams on Sui
that is constantly innovating, cooking,
and probably, honestly, one of the most underrated NFT collections.
collections like i might i might smooth some more after this honestly um but like uh i think like
I might spoof some more after this, honestly.
you know you guys have really understood the the community community aspect communication aspect
right uh you guys are very transparent um and like i mean you guys are competing with like casinos
like on the top 10 list like wait you guys are already on the top 10 list right i would say so
there's a there's a list that goes out they don't support suite yet but we were definitely competing
like revenue wise and only being out for a year i think our growth and like the trajectory is insane
but it's it's so crazy bro i'm so happy to be a part of it. Insane. Insane. Yeah. Congrats on your so much success, bro.
I think the building in public,
I'm looking forward to that video,
but I think the building in public
is working out for all of us.
I know for Lofi, for Bucket, for Mirai,
for DoubleUp as well and for Quantum.
I want to dive into just, we do have 10 minutes left.
If anyone has questions, I'm reading them in Discord,
if anyone has questions there.
But I want to kind of dive into the actual itineraries,
maybe some of the logistics that people,
most common questions are being asked.
Linda, do you want to like like like i know you're
gonna go off but like a four minute itinerary uh summary without spilling too much
yeah you know me too well it's gonna be hard but i'm actually gonna try to don't say too much and
not cover it all because we don't want to give it all to everyone but i
think what's important to mention is that uh first of all like what are the inclusions of this trip
right so maybe kotara you can also like spotlight the booking page as well so if anyone has any
questions you can always refer to that uh but the the ticket itself includes the direct flight from Bali to La Bombagio.
We're working directly with Garuda, who is a partner, the national airline. We actually
are going to mostly take over this one flight a day that they have, and all for us with
an amazing experience as we start to check in. And then we are going to have a beautiful dinner that
will be featuring one of the amazing entrepreneurs from La Bombaggio and sharing the culture of the
land. I'll just keep it right there and we will be on the beach on arrival. The second day, I think
we understand that a lot of people are coming from all over the world uh people will be a little bit
jet lag and so we don't really want to push it again we don't have you know an agenda at a
conference to go to we're here to be and relax so we want to keep the second day very much focused
on unwinding doing fun activities like around the resort which we actually really didn't talk about, but it's the newly launched luxury collection resort by Marriott called Taktana.
Again, this hotel is completely brand new and is absolutely gorgeous.
I really invite you to go ahead and check it out for yourself.
And at night, we're going to have...
Am I allowed to share the experiences and how they are connected to our partners, Kotaro?
You can ask the partners.
Guys? I'm not sure.
Okay. Yeah, so the second night, sorry, yeah, the second evening, we're going to have a beautiful sunset cocktail session still at the hotel,
but then we're going to be heading to the La Bon Baggio Fish Market,
which is in the downtown.
So we're going to get the opportunity to get out
and going to see a little bit of the local town area.
And actually, we're're gonna be partially closing down
the local fish market exclusively for Mirai Baggio.
And we're gonna be actually integrating
a lot of like impact in this particular location
with upgrades and really supporting
the local community of fishermen.
And the fish is like the freshest catch of the day.
Like, let me tell you, it's like crazy.
It's really amazing.
And integrating with other cultural experiences.
Fun fact, the community that operates the Bajo fish market, if anyone knows Avatar 2,
I don't know if you've ever heard of like the Bajo tribes,
but they're like the ones that have inspired,
again, James Cameron for
Avatar so they are the descendant of those people aka the Bajo people
next up is day three where we're going to be diving in a little bit of content again
we want to be creating sessions for cloning and. I think when we were in Mirai Bali last
year, it was amazing to see how naturally, actually without any of this agenda, like the
community was just like sharing each other their own projects, like how do, you know, their tricks
and hacks of what they do, whether it's in DeFi or marketing or community or creativity, it could
be anything. So we're just going to create sessions and kind of spaces where anyone can co-learn and be together.
And then, of course, the Ministry of Tourism will also be sharing some information about anyone that is thinking about Indonesia
and how to engage, like that's going to be available.
Finally, the night will be ended up by uh featuring another
amazing entrepreneur um named bueli who runs a company named jawara which is basically the
whole foods of indonesia i think like i will i cannot tell you like all she does i will let her
do that in person but we're going to be taken to a journey across the archipelago. So while day one is like the food
and the community of the land,
day two is the community and the food of the sea.
On day three, we're going to experience
the rest of Indonesia.
Indonesia is an archipelago of 17,000 islands.
And like, it's one of the most diverse countries
in the world.
So we want for each of you to kind of get to experience what that's like so you can continue to journey around Indonesia.
And finally, on day four, I think it's going to be like the key highlight and the most exciting, you know, moment that we're all driving for.
That is going to be led by.
So actually, I didn't I didn't say who's doing what.
So I will keep it like there.
Sorry guys.
But I will share it maybe next.
At the end.
But day four we're going to.
Let's not.
Let's not spoil that thing that.
Gets there.
Don't give away all the alpha Linda.
Don't tell everyone.
What the heck.
Especially.
Yeah. Let's. Let's. What the heck? Especially. Yeah. Yeah.
Let's just stop it there.
We're not saying what's happening.
There's nothing happening.
You guys go home.
There's nothing happening.
Nothing is going to happen.
And then nothing is going to happen.
And then essentially day five.
Yeah. Guys. Day four is the craziest thing. Nothing is going to leave yeah guys day four is the craziest but it's it's so crazy that nothing is happening that's all we
can say um but it's it's pretty like the the cinematic and the content that is going to come
out of this video um or like come out this event like across all the different experiences um also like you know like we're
gonna be doing a lot of um maybe like a documentary style video like from the mariah side i'll bring
all my like i'll have all of my gear i'm sure me and mike are gonna cook some random content uh
you know we have an island at our disposal mike so we we gotta take advantage of that i'm ready i'll bring my drone and everything
um but awesome one more one more piece for the for the itinerary linda uh i want to talk about
briefly the the plane logistics just for anyone listening in that this is probably the most
asked question is uh how early should we get to bali airport and um yeah that's pretty much
the most asked question.
Yeah, absolutely.
Thank you for bringing that up.
So we're going to be leaving Bali.
The scheduled flight would leave at 4.50 PM, which is great.
Cause we know that there's a lot of incoming flights from different parts of
Asia, Middle East that arrive like before four, essentially two, three, et cetera.
So we really recommend for everyone to be in bali
at least three hours before departure to be on the safe side of course uh we're gonna be starting
the check-in to uh because this will be a domestic flight we will leave from the domestic airport
uh i will get later into like how this whole process will be eased,
but all to say is that we will leave from the domestic.
So technically, one hour and a half
to one hour before the plane is planning.
Before, you have to arrive at the airport
in the domestic section, ideally by 3 PM. so you can actually enjoy the departure experience on October 5th.
Bottom line is do not miss the flight.
Otherwise, you will have an eternity of FOMO that will be immutably stamped into the sweet blockchain.
Yeah, you can skip the first night.
We'll see you tomorrow.
We'll see you the next morning.
Or you can swim.
That's also an option.
But I heard Komodo dragons can swim up to 8 miles per hour in the water.
I had to look up all of this information.
I'm terrified.
But one more quick uh just just
just quick thing um you know nfa guys markets pump and take some profit and treat yourself
that's all i can say you know invest in yourself uh and and and enjoy that um does anybody on the
on the panel have any questions or any last words?
If you guys are on the fence
about coming to this event,
I would highly
personally recommend it
because the last event I went to
that was curated by Quantum
and Studio Mirai
genuinely, literally changed my life.
So anything can happen
and just come
relax. It's an experience
in itself. You guys all just heard
everything that's going on and I'm sure there's
so much more that you don't know yet
it's going to be such a good time. So if
you're on the fence, I would definitely recommend.
say real quick, last thing
is you work so hard in crypto, or hopefully you do. Hopefully you're building, or maybe you're
in the trenches trading. Maybe you're just on double up. Maybe you're just flipping that coin
a hundred times, which, oh Mike, it might be time, but you're working hard. You're in crypto. You
should be working hard. You're building the future of the internet with SWE
don't forget to play a little bit
and if you want to play
for a couple days
there's no better place to play
than Luban Bajo
this is going to be an experience
you can play with friends
you can do all these different things
we'll probably be doing
some work there too
I don't unplug
but I'm sure the robots
can unplug
maybe Kotaro can't
but don't forget
to at least reward yourself sometime.
So this is a great opportunity.
A hundred percent.
And I think for just,
just real,
real quick,
just Mike,
just for the people listening,
how hard is it to get a passport?
It took me two weeks.
there's still how close,
how close did you cut it? So I booked the flight. I bought the tickets, everything. It took me two weeks. There's still time.
How close did you cut it?
So I booked the flight.
I bought the tickets, everything before even knowing if the passport would get there in time.
So just take the leap, bro.
Just take the leap.
And luckily everything worked out.
I would have been so sad.
Mike, I'm so impressed.
He got it like eight hours, like the night before.
Like the day before.
He was like being depressed. He's like like i like oh package game hash game and he's like he's like you know like uh like uh
video call facetime he's like yo yo package he's opening it and it's like a camera that he bought
for the trip accidentally oh and then he's like oh i think it's gonna come like the day after and
it like came early like the night before that
was that was crazy bro you would have uh booked all those non-refundable plane tickets and everything
yeah they were definitely non-refundable 37 hour flights bro i mean i i heard it was 72 hours
of flights which is pretty crazy linda mike landed in singapore and his face like me and
me and one of our community holders funky uh we met him in singapore and like he this guy
looked like he had no idea where he was no idea what time it was he didn't have a uh like a roller
he had a carry-on just a duffel bag he He's never traveled out of the States. And we're like, oh my God, like, is that Mike can't miss?
I mean, that's incredible, Mike, that you said yes and you did that.
That was literally your first trip out of the country, like in that situation.
Like, it's mental.
It's amazing.
I'm so glad you said yes.
But I did want to say just one final thing as well.
I mean, anyone that has any questions,
like Quantum Temple is now working behind the scene
on a new product, which we're not going to talk about.
But it's called Karnacon, and it's a luxury concierge
that is meant to help you with everything you need for travel.
And it will be exclusively be offered
to all the community members of Mirai Bajos
that will be coming.
So if you have any questions, even prior to coming
or booking, you can reach us out
at Carnot Concierge on Telegram,
and you can ask us any question.
And we can help you prevent any situations,
like handle all of your travel needs,
whether it's like flights, like transportation, visas, recommendations, like we're here to help you.
We understand that this is, you know, a trip in a very remote destination that we want to make it as easy and as convenient for you.
And especially if you're then are interested in bringing your family or your significant others and also spoiling them.
Right. So we're here to make it all happen
don't hesitate to reach out to us um if uh if you have any questions at any point yeah all of you
reply guys and reply gals uh and and the uh the people in the trenches if you want to stay in the
trenches you gotta you gotta reward your family as well so this is a perfect trip to do that um but uh
appreciate all of you guys for for coming up for this space um you know looking forward to to bajo
i think it's going to be the craziest community event of the year across all the chains i think
the the cinematic that's going to come at this event is going to be quite frankly the craziest
thing ever i'm looking forward to seeing the Yeti mascot in action
for something that I can't talk about
and looking forward to
creating all the
content stuff with Mike as well
we'll see you guys in Bajo
if you have any questions regarding
Bajo reach out to Quantum
reach out to Linda, reach out to us in the Discord
well you know
any questions there
um the tickets i believe are there is like it's slowly winding down i think we have um
like eight more regular places uh like the regular rooms and then we have like like three or
something of the higher tier rooms left from like 45 regular rooms and 25 higher tier so it's
definitely been good going out uh so uh we'll see you guys in basho and thank you guys again
for the space have a good rest of your week .
