GM, GM, welcome to Coffee with Captain. Happy Monday morning. Hope everyone had a great
weekend. It was an interesting one for sure. We got a lot to get into today.
Conflict in the Middle East affecting markets for sure. We have, it'll be interesting as
the title suggests, our market's going to rip or dip at open. We will also talk about the old men in the gym,
talking about they couldn't wait until the 24-5 markets opened up so they can open some trades
following the weekend activity. That is our hyperliquid plug. This is not a sponsored or
promotional post. We'll be talking about that later as well, the changes to X, including
promotion or paid promotion disclosures in the new filters. So a lot of changes on X, I think all for the
positive in my opinion. And before we get into serious stuff though, big weekend for young men
in spandex, as well as guys like myself who are front running their combine results in the way
to early NFL best ball drafts records at every position. I don't even know what to make of it.
I know a lot more important things going on in the world than NFL best ball drafts and
NFL combine results.
But mind-blowing results from the combine this weekend, from what most of the experts
would say is going to be a quote-unquote weak NFL draft class, next year's draft class is
supposed to be full of superstars, i.e. Jeremiah Smith.
But I am, I don't know. I think things have changed. I think it's either legal steroids,
peptides, et cetera, or the impact of NIL and these players staying in college for a couple
extra years. And they're just older. They're older than most draft class.
And the results are like mind-blowing.
It's not just like one or two outliers.
It is like 40 times the fastest quarterback class ever,
fastest running back class ever,
fastest wide receiver class ever,
fastest tight end class ever.
They're putting up crazy, crazy measurables.
I mean, tight ends that are running and jumping faster than, like, the DK Metcalfs of the world who, you know, DK Metcalf broke Twitter when he had his combine and his shirt off pictures.
Like, wild, wild results.
I am victory lapping a little bit because some of these players, with a little bit of research, you could figure out who was supposed to perform well at the combine players
like Mike Washington,
who was unheralded played at Arkansas this after like smaller schools,
his first three years,
he was one of those older running backs and it didn't have like huge numbers,
put up like a thousand yards,
eight touchdowns,
cut 28 passes against playing for a really bad team in arkansas battle line and so put up decent numbers
in the sec good defenses but he was fast like he showed at the senior bowl while we didn't know his
exact 40 time he clocked you know high miles per hour running the ball and like it was you good
reason to believe he was going to put up a good combine performance so i was hammering him like
over 20 of my drafts had mike was hammering him like over 20%
of my drafts had Mike Washington with ADP over 200, like 20 last round type flyer kind of guy
as my, like my running back five or six. And he crushed the combine all his, all, you know,
all his drills ran a four, three, three 40 broken tier down to tears afterwards. Cause like
guy literally like made his, you want to talk about generational wealth went from maybe going undrafted or a you know six seventh round pick to he's going to fly up
draft boards now and probably be maybe second rounder if not probably third rounder and um
you know literally made millions of dollars off of off of a 40 run anyways uh it wasn't just it
wasn't just mike washington but if you are a weirdo like me
and drafting nfl best ball in march you can still hammer him he's his adp is still like in the 190s
but the draft summit he's going to he's going down the 140s so basically that's just one player got
like five six maybe seven rounds of closing line adp value and that's why you draft this time of year so you can get ahead of, like, the drafts.
Now, maybe, like, they're not perfect
and end up taking players that aren't stacked
with their quarterbacks
or end up not being the right build.
But I guarantee I won't be getting Mike Washington
in the 200s in August.
Like, you just, you can draft players now at levels that you just won't be able to draft come August.
Whether it's, oh, it's a player like Malik Willis who signs with, you know, a team and gets, he's going to be the starting quarterback.
A lot of people knew that, so Willis was getting drafted up a little bit.
But between these free agent speculations and, you know, players like Jeff Copeland, who didn't really perform a
lot, was a Cincinnati wide receiver, but he measured 6'5", and came in blazing at like 4'3".
Quarterbacks like Taylor Green, who 6'6", and ran the fastest 40 times since Michael Vick,
and broke the record at the 40. Now, he's not a polished quarterback. He's probably not going to
play quarterback this year if he does
you might be lucky to get one or two starts out of him but for a 20th round like the last pick of
your draft in the 20th round you could do a lot worse than a quarterback who's a freak athlete
and if he does start like he's he's crushing it he's like the new anthony richardson you can just
get him in a lot cheaper and there's also a very i think a very good chance he becomes like a joker
he becomes like a tasem hill or maybe they convert him to a wide receiver.
Just freakish, freaky, freakish athletes.
They're defensive players, so they're not going to be in your fantasy drafts,
but Sonny Stiles and Lorenzo Stiles, the brothers from Ohio State,
just smashed the combine as well.
Numbers that are just unheard of for players this size joey i know you're deep into the peptide
streets i think it's probably a little bit of both i probably think it's it's like strength
and conditioning legal drugs and these players being older than prior years thoughts on that
and then we will uh we'll get into conflict in the middle east and global markets here in a bit but uh gm sir welcome yeah no i i actually came up i'm not getting audio today let me double check i did i did
hot swap uh let me just change this real quick see if
check i could hear you joey but i can't i don't think cap can hear us
can you hear me joey yeah i can hear you okay yeah i just i don't think Cap can hear us Yeah Yeah
I wonder if
I wonder if anybody in the audience can hear us
If you can hear us in the audience
Put up like hundreds or something
Yeah we could
Transfer from the audience
You guys everybody just fine
I think Cap couldn't hear you guys
He's just using this as an excuse To go get more coffee Cap couldn't hear you guys.
He's just using this as an excuse to go get more coffee.
That's it.
Yeah, they're throwing hundreds of them.
Jesus, can you hear me?
Joey, can you hear me?
Yeah, I got you.
I got you all back now ball i got y'all back now i just i did all right so here in the streets like jesus what are you what iphone version are you
running uh when you when you host spaces uh i think i have a 16 and do you plug it directly into
just the usb ck okay so i did the same like previously i just what i swapped back to is my And do you plug it directly into? Just the USB-C cable.
Okay, so I did the same.
Like previously, I just, what I swapped back to is my older iPhone.
That's the aux cable that I have to run through an iRig.
And then that goes into the Broadcaster.
I just got a new iPhone 17, 17 Pro.
And so I plugged it directly in.
But it was, obviously I couldn't hear you guys so oh now i'm muted now check check now i'm back no yeah we can hear you the whole time i think it
i think it muted me on um so so what i got there was it looks like people could hear guest speakers
on youtube pain is that correct you could hear joey it looks like people could hear guest speakers on YouTube. Payne, is that correct?
You could hear Joey on YouTube.
Basically, everyone could hear everyone except I couldn't hear the guests on my end.
I have no idea why, but I will troubleshoot after the show.
For the time being, I'll just run.
Now, I don't know if I'll be able to get the Coffee with Captain account up because I'm not logged in on this phone.
But anyways, I digress.
Thought we were going to be able to. Can you guys it was it was on my end i don't know why
but um uh i swapped back to the old phone and and and we're fine it'll work um x kicked me out
twice while you were trying to fix that so clearly x is still doing x things for the last i mean a
lot of a lot of updates on X.
You've got a device that's on the current version of X. They did something else we have on the agenda this morning
is talking about these X updates from filters to paid disclosures,
paid promotional posts, and all the stuff.
So if you're trying to get up on stage and it's giving you issues,
just go into your app store, make sure you're running the most recent version of X, and that the love. So if you're trying to get up on stage and it's giving you issues, just go into your app store,
make sure you're running
the most recent version of X
and that should help.
But I might go after the show
if you got time before your show
because I don't know why
it would be not getting everyone's audio,
but it's definitely something to do
with the new phone. As soon as I plugged in the old definitely something to do with the new, um,
the new folks.
As soon as I plugged in the old one back to the iRig,
we're good.
But anyways,
I digress.
what I was going to comment on was,
not even about the peptides because we get to have a whole show on that,
but this thesis of like college football players being older now and like
just having better performances at the combine,
that was the thesis that, um, with Indiana and why they were so
successful was he targeted older players that had spent four or five,
six years in college maturing in size and strength and speed and intelligence.
Like the average age of Indiana's college football
team, I think was older than like a handful of actual NFL teams. It was something crazy like
that because they had so many guys with COVID that were on their fifth, sixth years. So like
this thesis is playing out in front of us that how the longer you stay and this there's always been that thing of like
oh but let them come out you know let them come out uh but the thesis is playing out in front of
us that if you actually stay in college and mature 22 23 years old you're probably going to be a
better football player than coming out at 20 now don't get me wrong there are some freak athletes
that can come out at 20, 21 years old,
Jeremiah Smith probably could have came out of college
after his freshman year and been an NFL wide receiver.
But this idea of staying in college and mature physically
and mentally is playing out with Indiana winning a national championship
and then these numbers at the combine.
Yeah, and speaking of those numbers at the combine in Indiana,
Omar Cooper's another one I've been jamming in 20% plus of.
Similarly, thinking that he would fly up draft boards after a good combine,
and he absolutely had that 4-4-2, I think.
But yeah, I do think that is a big part of it, is these older, more mature players.
They have a couple extra years, and it's not just they're older and more mature.
It's older, mature, and combined with strength and conditioning,
great strength and conditioning programs.
You know, I would be...
Church and programs, recovery programs.
Like, everything has progressed in the last couple years
so much further than five and ten years ago in regards to that.
Like these guys are just, it's crazy what they have at their disposal now in their training facility.
It really is.
I mean, there was a six foot nine, like 360 pound lineman that ran a five, two fit 40.
Now you may think, well, five, two is not that fast.
Go try to run a 40 time.
Like, I don't, there's probably no one listening into this
that would run a, maybe there's a couple people,
if you're an insane athlete,
that could break five seconds in a 40.
Like, it is, I don't think the average human
understands how fast a five second,
a five minute 40.
We used to get excited about D linemen
and offensive lining,
offensive lining running like four nines.
You're like,
they ran under five seconds.
They're so fast.
Now he's running a four or five.
I can think of,
it's just like,
it is really wild.
How much bigger,
faster these athletes are today than ever before.
And it just seems like it's going to continue, uh, continue this evolution.
It's, uh, and it's starting in high school.
Look at like all these high school programs in like Texas and California and Florida that
like their, their strength and conditioning programs are equivalent to like NFL programs.
Like NFL teams are practicing at high school fields for playoffs and Super
Like it's just there,
the way that athletes are being bred today is just crazy.
It's fun for a sports fans,
fun to watch,
fun to speculate on there.
I actually didn't even look,
I wonder if there was prediction markets on some of these combine results.
I should have,
should have taken a peek before and allowed me to lever up my player takes for best ball drafts.
But I feel pretty good.
I'm 75-ish plus drafts in before the combine, which was the goal.
And you had 150 big boards, the big underdog tournament, and I didn't want to exhaust all of them because I don't have all the information,
but I thought it'd be good to get in ahead of combine results and front run some of these outcomes.
And it wasn't perfect.
There was some that I might have missed on slightly, but across the board,
it was so far looking like some big wins, very plus EV for the early stuff.
And it's also where I performed best.
If I look at the entire year last year,
it was the big board where I performed the best,
had the most playoff teams, and it was the most profitable
because I felt, again, it was just plus EV.
Speaking of plus EV, you're going to get back into the poker streets.
There's a poker room not far from me.
I'm going to dust off the –
actually, if you've got any good poker books,
in the market for a poker book or two.
We'll get one on Audible
and maybe even buy a paperback version because
I, over the weekend, also started,
kicked off 75 Hard yesterday, Joey.
Vo, I kid you not, I was
getting ready to send out, does anyone want to do 75 Hard
Like two hours later,
Vo made a post on the timeline. So it started a small
group that was like, started like five people in there. Now I don't know how many there is, but,
uh, kicked off, did my first, uh, got my first two workouts in yesterday. If you're not familiar,
75 hard is 75 consecutive days where you work out twice a day, each one for at least 45 minutes.
Uh, you drink a gallon of water and read at least 10 pages in a book. So this is going to
sound weird. I'm the weirdo that for me, it's like, and I drink a lot of water. I probably hit
a gallon with, if I can't factor in sparkling water, but just talking regular room temperature
water, going through four of these things a day. I started late yesterday. And, um, yeah, it's, it's, you, I'll
just say this. You need to get in your, you need
to get it all in before like probably 6pm
so you're not having to
make a couple extra trips to the back.
Isn't it one workout outside,
one workout inside, post a
picture, also like post
a picture every single day,
and then, I feel like there's something
else. Read 10 pages in a book.
Okay. When the peptides
cap, come on. Probably soon.
If you missed it.
Fountain of youth, man. Fountain of youth.
They're going to be making compounds.
Are legal here per RFK
in the very near future.
Yeah, excited
to see. I think prices come down
a little bit on those.
I don't know if I can do
peptides. No?
Because I've had a heart attack
in the past.
I'm definitely not a doctor. Don't join us for medical
advice nor financial advice.
Joey, what do you think?
Joey would probably give you
something to get him in trouble with the law. Go ahead, Joey.
I kid. What was the question?
She's just had a heart attack and is concerned.
Obviously, you should speak to me before doing anything.
Yeah, I would talk to my cardiologist
in a heartbeat.
Here's the thing with peptides, though.
Because they're not FDA approved,
no actual doctor
will talk to you about them.
Maybe if you have a friend
that's a doctor and you invite them over for a like maybe if you, if you have a friend that's a doctor and
like you invite them over for a beer, they'll sit down and have a conversation with you. But if you
actually make an appointment with a doctor and go into the office and say like, Hey, do you think
it'd be safe for me to take this? And they say, yes. And then something happens to you. Like
they're going to like, they'll lose their license because it's not, and it's not an FDA, they're not FDA approved. So you can't actually have a conversation about them. Um, my dad had
some heart issues. Um, like he had to wear monitors and all kinds of like for over a year,
wearing a monitor with like AFib and all kinds of crazy things like that. Um, had to have a couple
procedures and he jumped on Retta because he wanted to lose some weight um and you know so
i'm not i'm not a doctor this is not medical advice um but peptides are just messengers
they're telling your bot they're essentially connecting in sending information between
parts of your body that have just faded over time so for example peptides that target growth hormone
they essentially just tell your your pituitary gland to produce more growth hormone.
You're not injecting growth hormone, right?
So like if you want to sleep better, you're not taking melatonin or some type of sleep drug to sleep more.
You're taking something that tells your body to produce more melatonin so you can sleep better.
That's the difference between these
and like the reason why peptides are so praised is because you're not introducing an artificial
version of like a drug, like a steroid. You're just creating messages within your body,
like insulin, insulin is a peptide. So when you take an insulin when you take insulin you're
telling your body to produce more insulin or less i can't remember because i'm not a diabetic but
so i'm not a doctor if you know one talk to them offline but if you make an appointment
they won't talk to you about it at all we'll get proof out go ahead jesus and we'll get proof out jj no yeah no no no and i i agree
i just gotta gotta do more research my heart doctor i've used him and his and his son and
he's pretty straightforward with me he uh he will tell me straight the straight up just like
yes or no leave the shit alone he doesn't even like me drinking coffee so
um i don't drink coffee either caffeine's for the week no i'm just kidding i don't know how Yes or no, leave the shit alone. He doesn't even like me drinking coffee.
I don't drink coffee either.
Caffeine's for the week.
No, I'm just kidding.
I don't know how you guys do it.
Cheers to the coffee drinkers.
Oh, no, I drink the shit out of coffee.
Maybe one or two cups a week tops, and that's usually on a Sunday morning
or on a Saturday afternoon when I'm doing other games.
That's funny.
Caffeine Sunday is the least caffeine I consume. I'm
a much bigger consumer of caffeine through the week.
I'll blame this show.
I feel like it's part of my job. I feel
obligated to just continually consume
coffee throughout the show. It's like
a double pot type of day.
It's requirements.
Prerequisites. Part of the contract.
So anyways, in all seriousness,
we'll get proof of
Appadigian here. Hans W, thank you very much
for that. Am I saying it Hans W
or is it Hans?
Help me pronounce the Hans W.
Yeah, it's just Hans.
Hans is a great guy.
Go get a GU.
Yep. Shout out to Hans. And also, I'm adding this to the list because I saw it popping off.
I saw it doing crazy volume on Abstract, but I know nothing about Moody Madness other than I saw a lot of people in the Abstract streets talking about it.
So I see Crypto Slam said, first one here, just finished playing the Asia-ranked Moody Madness.
I do need, if anyone wants to fill us in on details there, would greatly appreciate it because I...
Yeah, I can help you whenever you're ready.
Awesome. Appreciate it.
Proof out, D.J.M.
Hey, G.M., man.
I just wanted to speak to Joey's point about the peptides sending the signals.
I think that sounds similar to what the liver does, right?
If I'm not mistaken, the liver is like the command center of all the organs in the body
and the superfood being celery that makes it work.
And it's the only organ in the body that actually can reproduce itself,
even if it's damaged up to like 25% remaining good.
Am I on here?
Of course, I'm not a medical professional. We are not serious people, but I think that liver's purpose does send those same signals. Is that correct?
I mean, every organ has a response. The liver is technically one of the filtration
organs. I don't know. I'm not, again, not not a doctor either i don't know if it serves other
purpose i'm sure it serves other purposes besides filtration um like for example i just went and did
blood work voluntarily to see how i was doing after being on peptides for two months and again
not a doctor this is just my personal experience all of my blood work is better than what it was
six months ago with healthy liver and kidney function being on peptides. So if you're going to do anything,
I would highly suggest doing your blood work before you start and then doing your blood work
after a month to two months and doing it pretty regularly. There's a company out there,
this is not a shill, but Rhythm, if you're in the US where it's like 80 bucks a month and you literally just put this
thing on your arm, fill a little vial Uber comes and picks it up, drops it off at the post office
for you. And then all of your important markers are then dropped into their mobile app for you.
And you can do your blood work every month to monitor how you're doing. So if you're ever
going to do anything, always make sure you're checking your blood work because you just never know. Every human body is different. I will double tap that.
Before you do anything, talk to your doctors, check your blood work. None of us are experts,
but if you are looking for a group to provide a little extra added motivation, I will say 75
hard is per the name. It's very hard. I, when it first came out,
I attempted it three times, did not complete any times, failed all three times. However,
during that stretch, I got in the best shape of my life. I also, it was when I stopped drinking
for that stretch. And this month will mark eight years that I haven't had alcohol. Uh, not that
it's directly attributed to 75 hard, but it is a very challenging, it's a
very challenging workout.
I will say living in Florida is kind of like a cheat code because the outside workout is
far easier than it is in the Midwest.
And I also have a Peloton set up outside by my pool that's outside, but I mean, it's not
like I'm whatever it's, it's, it's absolutely a cheat code, uh, much, much easier to do the work out here than it was in the Midwest, so I have no excuses this time.
We have three more minutes to the cold open, Payne.
Three more minutes to the cold open.
I asked what Moody did, because he said it's been around a while.
He said, yes, some will artificially pump through microtransactions, but they've, they've stayed trying to ship. So we'll, we'll talk about Moody more in a bit.
Abstract also launched, I think kind of a lackluster update. They've hyped it up pretty
big on streaming and all it was, was you can stream to other platforms except for YouTube.
I don't. Yeah. It's, it's kind of kind of it's got some it's got some bad sides
to it and i love abstract i'm on there every day i tweet about it every day but what i'm seeing is
now unless it's me just being a newbie on twitch because i'm on kick and but it does not it does like you're oh i lost jesus anyone else sorry i had a call uh yeah no yeah
yeah i had a call come in uh like you're live but like i'm not seeing any of my recorded shows
uh on my twitch like i do on kick so like it's not showing there and then when you go so it depends which way you go
you either have to put in your twitch or your kick um you either have to put in your twitch
or your kick link and it only picks up one or one either one so while i use stream yard and i can stream to multiple destinations
the the the aggregator only will allow you to use one now if you choose as of right now if you
choose to use uh x instead of twitch if you back out of your live stream and you see all these blue screens, these are people that are using X instead of using Twitch.
There's a problem with getting the video to show up as like your thumbnail.
So every one of them you see them with a blue screen,
it's people streaming from,
it's people streaming from X,
the ones that you see without it.
And you can actually see like a video that one.
So like yours right now,
you're going through Twitch.
we stream from abstract.
I'm sorry,
StreamYard.
So we just,
the update literally did,
it was a nothing burger for us,
did nothing.
Cause we've already been doing StreamYard to well StreamYard to X video and YouTube and abstract.
But how are you streaming to abstract is my is my question because there's no more stream key or no more.
There's no more stream key inputs.
Oh, I still have I still have stream key on mine.
Do you really?
I don't have that.
I literally didn't change anything.
We've been using the stream key,
and let me just, I'll show,
I'll do a quick screen share here.
You can see on my abstract that it is,
yeah, stream key's still there.
Yeah, nothing changed on my phone.
Wow, that's crazy, bro. For me, it's still there yeah nothing nothing changed on my my phone wow that's crazy bro for me it's it's not there i don't i wonder why how don't refresh your shit then well yeah see that stream
for me it's gone oh wow i don't even have thumbnail there for me it's just edit and that's it and when
you go edit it gives you a stream source and and you have to put the URL in there.
So that's going to be either your kick or your Twitch destination
or your live stream for your X.
And now what's a pain in the ass is you have to go live first.
Then you got to copy and paste the X URL, put it in there.
Then you can go live on App Store.
Oh, that is a pain.
Yeah. So they got to make this more you know a little bit more simplified right now it's uh that becomes the case
on mine then that's that's actually a downgrade um so it it will i'm blown away that you're that
you still have that i i don't know how that's even possible i'm not i'm gonna move on i don't
want to fightud abstract.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm not trying to fud them either. I'm just like...
Yeah, and I created a ticket and told them all this
in the abstract discourse.
The one thing I will say is...
The one thing I am excited for in abstract
is the Z-packs that drop here in about a half an hour.
Yeah. Do you have any strategy on yours yours are you going to go legendary packs i'm just doing all legend he alluded to some caps is there a cap on how many legendary packs you can
get or no yeah so it depended on it depends on a few things one if you did some gifts gifts um well the the the way you got more legendary packs was by doing wheel spins and
um that's how you were able to bump your allocations up so like right now i can mint
50 common packs i can mint 10 uh rares or i can mint 10 legendary. So is there a reason not to do the wheel spins,
If you go to the wheel spin,
like I thank God Loki sucks.
and Loki passed me up.
But if you go to the result side,
you can see like winners and losers.
And you can see like the,
you can see the breakdown of all that loki finally passed me up
loki's lost 10 681 zeats i've lost 8 483 but i've also done 1226 spins
and i've and i've won 467 of them,
and I've wagered 231,059 seats.
So I saw it.
I was going to wait until the show,
but I probably should do it before the pack gripping starts.
Do I just click on one of these and then choose to battle?
Yeah, yeah. It depends which one you're going at so like look at the entries look
at the wins um you know seats are being burned i wasn't even picking up on it i was just clicking
buttons because if you have you have you know if you go to the rare it's a total of 224 Zs to join a 1v1 rare,
but the prize pool is only 202.
So there's 22 Zs being burned there.
I'm just battling right now.
Now, yeah, now the thing that gets you is doing the battle with pawns.
I was doing 2,500 Zs at a time battling pawns just going to town bro and uh i
think i beat him four times in a row well and i had a w i'm one i'm one and two against pawns i'll
double double it up and see if we can actually finish on the plus oh i'm watching it come on stop we're gonna retire nice right there oh i see so you got two in a row you have two
yeah you should have done 2500 but it gets expensive um now i i also so i don't know if the
the gifting counts as your negative because i did i did give away 5 000 ze Zs to people in a post.
I tell you what, I don't know exactly how this thing's playing out.
I don't know what the advisors eat,
but I have no idea what the tournaments are going to look like.
I have no idea what the cards are going to look like.
I only know the public information.
There's maybe some Alphabet leaked in group chats.
I'm really bad at group chats, so I don't know anything.
But I like how the design. I like that you can wager zeats.
I like that you're going to be buying pack with zeats.
I just, I think that is a good thing.
And there's more here, certainly more than just fantasy top reskin or info fi.
Like I I'm excited for what they're building and looking forward to ripping some packs to.
I mean, we don't have very much time.
If you go to, if you go to Scotty, do you follow Scotty? Okay. If you go to Scotty,
he put a really good post out 14 hours ago. That might be good to either pin or, or,
you know, read out, but these legendary packs, mind you,
even though they are a thousand seats,
slot one, you get a common.
Slot two, you get a common.
Slot three, you get a rare.
Slot four and five,
you only have a 15% shot at getting a legendary card.
The other 85% is a rare.
Now, here's the other side of that you have 200 you have 402 creators that have cards the last number that pawns officially put out
and each creator has 250 cards but they said that not all 250 cards of the creators are going to be out on the first phase so you know
while you might end up getting legendaries you could end up getting a legendary with someone
who has 500 followers it's not a bad thing or you could end up with a legendary whale or an
icob or even a way a rare a legendary cap and I think if you get those,
you need to sit on them for a minute.
Actually, this competition, these cards,
because now people rely on me,
this is probably going to be the thing
that actually gets me to start volume shooting
and actually fire it off more posts.
I've talked about doing it forever.
It's just not my, it's a grind,
and I just don't,
it's not something I particularly enjoy.
I'm more of like,
if I think of something that's clever, I'll fire off and it may every one out of five of those might actually
be clever well that's the thing they're not doing it off of x engagement we we don't know how they're
gonna they are apparently gonna drive value back to the brands but not based off your engagement
on x in these in these squads and the way it
like he says right here in spot number two
squads act like a real street
content and outcome machine
not passive not just on
X you win Nikita
how they're doing this man I
don't know but I think it's going to be really
really fun I'm excited I think I might also change the
title to palette cleans Cleanser,
where 99% of the other spaces are talking about war and doom and gloom
or bullish war or debating war.
We're talking about Z-Packs and Moody something
and basically everything minus war.
I'm going to talk about markets,
but I'm not going to pretend to be the geopolitical expert.
Though the first thing I see when I open OpenSea's page is war.
The token is up 206% on the day.
Go figure.
We did call it on the show, by the way, on Friday.
I did not place any prediction markets.
It just felt not great to be even betting on war,
let alone profiting on war.
But we did say, looked inevitable,
that it was going to be Friday night, Saturday morning, either Friday after markets close or Saturday. And sure
enough, I mean, I don't think I need to share if you were on X at all this weekend, you saw
what's happening in Iran, in the Middle East. But that said, let's do a quick market update here. I do want to talk a little bit about 24-5, 24-7 markets and Hyperliquid getting a little Bloomberg shout out over the
weekend, as well as a couple old men in the gym. I dropped the ball by not shilling my Hyperliquid
ref link. But fear and greed, still at 15, extreme fear. While majors are down slightly, Bitcoin down 0.75% to 65, 8,17,
ETH down 2% to 19,36, down slightly to chop across the board on majors, all things considered,
probably performing better than most expected, all things considered in the macro environment,
the geopolitical environment. Hyperliquid, as I mentioned,
it is flat or up 0.48% on the 24-hour clock.
If we look over, I mentioned the OpenSea tab.
We've got, we'll flip over to NFTs.
Pudgies, basically flat at 4.52.
Hypers, down 2%. Moonbirds, down below 1 ETH now, down 4.7%.
Punks are flat at 29%.
Good Vibes Club, down 3%
to 0.79%. Death and Taxes,
down 18%, but had a big pump
since we talked about them here on the show. Still at
0.05 ETH. Mutants,
flat at 0.89%.
Little Pudgies, down 2% to 0.52%.
Doodles, down 2% to 0.48%. Quirkies,
continue. They won the 1 ETH challenge.
The War on the Floor, up to 1.06 now only showing up one percent of the day but they just continue just grinding
away uh brick by brick continue to climb uh that floor price up up up uh slowly but surely apes
are flat at 5.99 milady's flat at 1.41 cyber kong's probably the big winner here up to three
eth uh up 36 percent of the day i guess it's got to be Death Star related.
I don't know how not,
but congrats to these OG holders there.
Del Mundus bounced up 24% of the day
to 0.08 ETH after falling down.
Mibit's down 2% of the day to 0.38
and probably more notable was
a little bit of back and forth
from PVP amongst founders.
Sergito taking some shots at Pudgy Penguins and their revenue reporting was a little bit back and forth from PVP amongst founders.
Sergito taking some shots at Pudgy Penguins and their revenue reporting in a recent CoinDesk article.
I'll see if I can pull that up here in a second.
CoinDesk then did a revision, a retraction on the article.
Whether it was as a result of Sergito's post or not, I don't know.
But a little bit of PVP popping up in the
NFT streets. More so
though, if we talk markets,
Wall Street opens in about
45 minutes,
45-50 minutes here.
Without getting into
a war conversation
this morning,
you see sell-offs once conflict breaks out. And then
after things settle in, markets rip. I don't know if that's going to happen. I don't think this
thing is going to last nearly as long as the wars I've experienced in my lifetime. Maybe I'm wrong.
I don't know. All I know is it took us like a decade to get bin Laden and over the weekend, like the top 40, 50 Iranian leaders have been taken out.
It's still it's still very much going on. And I am empathetic to anyone in that region.
It's not just Iran. It's there. I think they've launched attacks on like five, six, maybe seven different countries now.
And from Dubai to Kuwait, Lebanon and everywhere in between.
to Kuwait, Lebanon, and everywhere in between, just not great.
Maybe I'm the perma-optimist in me, but I still would love to see a global peace in our lifetime.
Whether we ever get there, probably naive, but not a fan of war, not a fan of unnatural death.
And that said, it is, we're talking markets.
Gold is ripping.
I think oil is still up.
Natural gas is still up.
And this came out from the RAND group.
I'm just, again, not just sharing other information that's been shared on this.
The S&P has never lost a war.
Average 12-month return, 25%. It references World War II up 20%, Korean War up 32%, Vietnam 23%, Gulf War 30%, Iraq War, the first one 21%, and Russia, Ukraine up 20%.
21% and Russia, Ukraine up 20%. Again, just sharing data. 12-month performance after major
conflicts indexed to the top 100 is up almost 25%. Like I said, gold up big on the day, oil
up big. And I don't really have a whole lot else to add to that because I don't necessarily want
to get into a deep conversation on war. If that's something you're curious about or want to learn more or talk more about, there is
a near endless number of spaces discussing those topics. Just not my area of expertise. I'm not
going to pretend it to be this morning. Oh, Jesus, I see you fell down, but CryptoScan says,
his is the same as yours.
It's probably because I haven't logged out and logged back in.
I did refresh this screen in the abstract chat, but I have not logged out or logged back in.
That might be what forced the update was the logout login.
I don't know, but it would make sense if that's it.
Speaking of markets, though, or staying on markets here,
I mentioned the shout out from Bloomberg.
Crypto traders flock to hyperliquid exchange to hedge commodities as a conflict between
US, Israel, and Iran erupted. I don't think it's just crypto traders. I think 24-7,
not just crypto prices, but oil, gold, traditional equities. You can trade stocks on hyperliquid.
This is where the world's heading. We're heading to always-on markets, and hyperliquid is there now.
I think we see more and more people.
I'm not exaggerating.
I'm not kidding.
Yesterday at the gym, there was two older men, we'll say.
I don't want to call them old.
I'm guessing in their mid-60s, talking about markets.
One of them, I quote, says, I can't wait until the 24.5 market opens up to get some trades in.
And they went on about talking.
I don't know whether he was referencing Coinbase or where he was trading those 25 markets.
But TLDR, he wasn't going to wait until 9.30 this morning to start trading.
I wanted to get ahead of that once the 24.5 markets came back on.
And again, I dropped the ball by of that once the 24.5 markets came back on. And again,
I dropped the ball by not shilling the Hyperliquid link. I did pound it in my group chat once again. However, Hyperliquid is continuing to perform well, continuing to generate serious revenue.
And I think, in my opinion, still a good buy from a token standpoint. Also, last thing on high-level markets is Bitcoin ETFs.
787 million in net inflows last week.
This week's inflows will be very telling if it is a new trend.
I agree, especially with what all has transpired over the weekend.
I'm checking chat to see if we're missing anything market-related or any
other news items. It's very singularly focused this morning. It is the literal, the war room
taking on new meetings today. Although we did get a, like I said, you want to cleanse your palate.
How about collection health is not what you think it is.
The market in a weird place.
Good time to talk about collectibles.
Because here we find it's encouraging real collectors to collect regardless of the weather.
Sign me up.
Let's talk about collectibles.
This is energy.
Shout out to Beezy, too, by the way, for hooking us up.
Otis, our reigning community member of the month here, I got that TCG gold claw pull on Friday and five other community members got a
50% off a busy call pull courtesy of busy last week.
Did you distribute that other code I sent you that you thought was a movie,
but it's not a movie.
that's what it was.
That's the code for the person that you were having a conversation with.
And I was like, we'll just give you one. Don't worry.
That's the code for that person.
I know this. I know it was an alien boy.
If you're listening, tag me in the chat or link your post from Friday
because I said we would get you one.
We did get you one. I just didn't realize.
I thought Joey was sharing.
That's so funny, man.
Joey shared a little.
I mean, it's on brand for the previous message.
No, that's why.
I mean, Joey, the last DM I had in Discord from Joey
on February 20th was Alien vs. Predator timeline,
and it was like 20 Alien and Predator movies.
And then, and I said, thanks.
Then a week later on Friday, I get a alien well i'm not gonna say the
code out loud i i got a code that started with alien and i was like is this i go is this a movie
and i didn't see his response till just now i said no that's the extra 50 off code um awesome
so yes if you were that his uh his x name started with oc osi, correct. Let me make sure I can find Osi here.
all these updates to X and they still
have not fixed X search,
but maybe soon.
Are you looking through that?
Did you see any mention of the Magic Eden marketplace
in your war room?
It's dead? I mean, I don't know what else no i did not what what else yeah exactly i didn't know if it made the headlines or not again but what you come out other than the pay them paying
kols to defend their business decision i mean there's just, there's a lot going on over there.
I guess when you're sinking,
you gotta throw any kind of lifeline out you can, right?
It seems like it's just getting worse and worse.
Oh, they're done.
Yeah, I don't see how they come back from this point.
I mean, I guess trying to hard pivot into casinos,
but good luck.
I mean, they can be profitable,
but it's also extremely competitive. And I think they have eroded the majority of
goodwill they had, at least amongst the crypto community. I'm happy to be wrong, but I just,
I don't see them coming back from this one.
I mean, at this point, do we think they care about how their review like
how people think of them on crypto twitter if they're pivoting into like the casino model
i mean maybe or maybe they were hoping that crypto twitter would be their customers for
the casino model a lot of these a lot of these brackets i don't know i can't speak for
magic eating but a lot of these brands it's don't know, I can't speak for Magic Kingdom, but a lot of these brands, it's like, yeah, they want to grow outside of crypto Twitter, but they, yes, they want to grow outside of crypto Twitter, but they leverage crypto Twitter and the network effects to, like, to grow their, to, like, to get their start, like to jumpstart their program. And I,
I don't know. I just don't, I don't see, I mean, I mean, I could be happy to be wrong here,
but I just don't see that, that working. I don't know who's supporting them. That's not a paid
KOL at this point. And even when you have, I mean, I'll pull it up here in a second. Before I forget,
I want to send Osiris this code.
It's going to hit your DM here momentarily.
if you're listening in,
50% off BZ.
This is Silverclaw,
Silverclaw.
KPOL is diabolical.
Paid KOL? Paid K-O-L? K-P-O-L.
Paid K-O-L? K-P-O-L?
That's diabolical. Good go right there, man.
Yeah, trying to rewind my brain here.
Where was I going to go?
Before I got distracted by the alien?
By the K-P-O-L?
Paid K-O-Ls, Nikita.
Maybe it's a good time to pivot into Nikita
and paid K-O-Ls or K-P-O-Ls,
whatever we want to call them.
um maybe we create a new term i've been saying we need a new term for kols and influencers because
Maybe we create a new term.
I've been saying we need a new term for K-O-Ls and influencers
because they're not all the same.
they're not all the same and um like the last thing i would be referred to as i think in 2026
would be a kol or an influencer for that matter but um yeah so no you influence me daily bro
that's well i appreciate it thank you thank you for being here uh bz is the best i agree uh shout
out again to the BZ team
and everyone who participated in that.
Good luck. I hope some of you pull a
grail in your claw pulls.
Otis, go grab that 50% discount
and, I'm not, sorry, Osiris, go
grab that 50% discount and pull you a grail
this morning. Nikita,
for as much as we like to dunk on the
guy, making some really positive changes, I think, on
X. One, he says, today, positive changes, I think, on X.
One, he says,
today, we're announcing paid partnership labels on posts.
X's core value is providing authentic pulse on humanity while we want to encourage people to build their businesses on X.
Undisclosed promotions hurt integrity of the product
and lead people to distrust content they read on X.
This new feature will allow you to comply with regulations,
but more importantly, it enables you to be transparent with your followers.
Big win, I think.
And you also, then shortly after this came out,
if you didn't see, you know,
basically my timeline was dodging war posts
to look at young men in spandex
and how fast they were running
to talking about,
I don't know anything to call it
other than rage bait
from the KOLs and people on this app.
Oh, crypto Twitter is dead.
Influencers are dead.
KOLs are dead.
No, like read,
read something first.
And ICOB says,
dumbest person you know has spent all morning trying to scare you into
thinking crypto products are no longer promoted on X. That is false. Check the updated list of
prohibited industries and paid partnerships linked by Nikita moments ago. Crypto is not on the list.
Have fun. Promote responsibly. Disclose. That's it. If you're getting paid to talk about something,
disclose it. It's pretty simple. And I think just a big, big win. By the way,
Nikita did reply to that and said, that was an error and we fixed it this morning.
There are certain markets which are prohibited by law and we revised the code to reflect that.
Here you go. You can't have ineligible for paid partnership promotion, adult and sexual content,
alcoholic beverages, contraceptives, dating to marriage services, drugs and drug-related products, geopolitical, political, social issues, or crisis for commercial
purposes, health and wellness supplements, peptides down bad, pharmaceutical and medicine-related
products, tobacco and tobacco-related products, weapons and weapon-related products, and weight
loss products. That's it. You're good to talk about kryptine, even gambling. Just disclose it.
Just tell people you're getting paid to talk about something. You're getting paid to talk about cryptic, even gambling, just disclose it. Just tell people you're getting paid to talk about something, you're getting paid to talk about something.
It's not that hard.
And I don't know.
And the other reason I maybe think it is even remotely hard
is for those that they have no original thoughts
and the only thing they talk about in this app
is when they're getting paid to do so.
I'm not naming any names,
but unless that's all you are
and then you're afraid you're just going to be viewed as a billboard.
But I think most people here, if you're here often, we already know that.
We know who the paid billboards are.
We know who primarily only tweets about things they're getting paid to talk about.
And many people have already muted or blocked those individuals.
I'm not hating the game.
I just, you should disclose if you're getting paid to talk about it.
That's it.
I don't really have anything else to add.
I think it's a good move for X.
They also introduced filters.
And I think another nice win.
I haven't played around with mine yet.
I haven't changed any of the dynamic filters.
But partially because I didn't want to be
completely in the dark
as it relates to
the Iran conflict and whatnot.
But yeah, again, I think filter is a good thing.
I'll show you, give you a glimpse of what you could select.
The help should help clean up your app.
If you, you know, you don't want to see politics, don't check the politics filter. Sports, business and finance, JavaScript framework, art and entertainment, artificial intelligence, crypto, gaming.
We'll see how it plays out on the timeline. But as far as I saw, the last two days have been record breaking days for all time highs of X usage. I'm sure a lot of that was driven by the conflict in the Middle East. And again, not being the expert there,
I will say the one thing I'm pretty sure of is that information hits X faster than almost
anywhere else. Now, it's sometimes challenging to differentiate as something real.
Is it real? Is it an AI video? Is it an old video?
That stuff is still sometimes challenging to differentiate,
but it really is a...
It's just where news hits first.
I don't know. It's a, it's, it's a,
a great source for real-time information boots on the ground. And, um, yeah, I, I could, I,
if you doubt this, go talk to someone who's not on X and they, they're literally, they're like
lagging. Like, I think that I saw some jokes this weekend, like this will hit Instagram in three
days. Let's put Facebook in a week.
It's just, it is,
information doesn't travel as fast elsewhere.
And therefore I'm not going to,
I may or may not use the filters.
I might click filters,
but I also don't want to not see some like breaking news and information that's not what I want to see all the time.
And I don't know, my algo I I think, has gotten a little better as of late,
even without any filter changes.
I think it's just, it's seen an improvement.
You know what?
It's been a while since we've done this as well,
but we're going to keep it in the palate-cleansing, positive news type of day.
And Laura often posts a job board, a post. I'm going to pin it up top.
It's Monday. It's time to connect. Tech companies are hiring talented people,
talented people seeking a job. If that's you, drop a comment below, connect with some,
if you're looking for a job, go drop your contact info there. If you're an employer looking to hire, go drop maybe a job posting there.
Did you see Wallet Connect?
I did not.
I saw Netflix and – no, they just filled the role.
But I saw Netflix and OpenAI were hiring a director of communications for upwards of $700,000 a year.
communications for upwards of 700 grand a year.
So if I do ever take a quote unquote job again,
I might've just,
I might've just doubled the comp request.
If I'm ever going to actually work for someone on a W2 role,
it's gotten a little bit higher due to what these big tech companies are now
paying people that can talk.
What was Wallet Connect's listing?
They were saying that if you are there's a there's an event in brands or something like that but if you go into this event then uh and you want to be a uh k pay
ol and or you know you want to be a content creator for them just to hit them up and uh and
apply and it's literally on there right there posted on their website.
I'll go get it.
Do we think these Z-packs are going to sell out?
Yeah, there's only 1,000 remaining.
I'm going to do this.
We got two minutes.
I'm going to do this in real time because I do think they'll go pretty quickly.
I think the legendaries will be scooped up pretty quickly.
I mean, there's 1,000 packs.
So then you have rares.
There's 3,500 rares.
That'll be the next one.
But you only get one card for the commons, three for the rares.
And then you get five cards in the legendary pack.
I'm not a Z-Wail like yourself.
I only have 2,600.
I think I'm just going to try to go for two legendary packs.
And then with the rest, I'll buy rare packs.
Does that seem like a good strategy?
You're going to do what now?
I only have 2,600 Zs.
I'm not as well like yourself.
I'm just going to go,
I think for,
if I can get to,
I only have one men available.
So I'm going to admit one legendary.
I'm going to admit one rare and then I'll fill out the rest comments.
And I'm pretty sure these will give abstract XP.
Um, and you're, And you're already seeing them
They're trading people are buying them
At $5 to $10 a piece
I think they were paying $15
For commons
For a common card oh wow
And it was like not big huge creators
But they had
Weath offers out there and people were selling them
So we'll see what happens If you want to play this game You got 4 seconds left big, huge creators. But they had Weeth offers out there, and people were selling them.
We'll see what happens.
If you want to play this game, you got four seconds left.
I do think they're going to go quick.
I'm going to do mine in real time here.
Oh, it only lets you do one pack at a time, bro.
You got to be able to max mint this bitch.
I'm just going to give people like myself a chance to get one.
Oh, my goodness.
Oh, my God. Already?
You got to be kidding me.
Woo, buddy.
They're what?
Yeah, my pack failed.
It failed the first time.
It looks like the second time it's going through.
Yep, purchase confirmed.
So we got the rare pack.
We'll open later.
Oh, my God.
Oh, you got to wait?
I got to wait three seconds?
I love it.
Yep, you got to cool down so you can't just jam the uh
jam the mint get out of here this is like the most egalitarian mint we've had in a while
bro there's nothing else going on in the space so like you know i got i got my legendary and rare
pack now i gotta see if i can get the however uh it's got me waiting even longer the second
yeah the second time goes to a 10 second cool down geez it's like it's got me waiting even longer the second time. The second time goes to a 10-second cooldown.
It's like when you use your special power in a video game. It's like the first time you use it, you use it right away.
And then every time you use it, you've got to wait longer and longer and longer.
I'll open mine on my space here later on.
Yeah, after I admit them all, I might open one here in a bit too.
But I like it.
Although I am all for bringing back gas wars, I do appreciate how they're doing this,
limiting the number you can buy, and then further the cool down.
I think it's instead of getting a few individuals that just met all of them or bought them
and then have selling them for huge, flip them for big gains this way.
That's what i was saying i would be cautious with selling yet because you we don't know the mechanics of the cards yep and we don't know how things are going to work um they open the squad
rooms so there's like a squad chat there's squad like a rally thing it's like you're like calling your squad in and
everybody's like being interactive within the squad so when we're done with this i'll show you
where to go look at that by the way i do have one more someone didn't claim their referral their
referral those links are no longer good oh really yeah i've seen him kind of doing something for icob
where they fixed it where his were still able to be sent out which is kind of weird because
i know some people that weren't able to you know you only had 14 days and if you didn't give them
out you should have minted your own yeah i didn I didn't just help. But someone didn't claim there, so I should have went back and checked before now.
It's still showing it's available, but maybe not.
To quick update, it looks like 729 remaining on the legendary packs,
3,200 on the rares, and 9,700 on the commons.
So the mint limit combined with the cooldown,
they're not going to instrument out.
You've got some time,
but I still would not delay if that's something you're interested in.
What's the availability?
eligibility.
to mint these,
you had to,
you had to have Zitz and two,
you had to at least,
I think you had to hold a card. I don't think you had to hold think you had to hold a card.
I don't think you had to hold,
you had to hold a card to be signed up for the next round of approved
but to buy,
you just needed to have seats and people were able to gift seats out.
And that's when I did the 5k giveaway.
I seen a lot of other people giving them away.
if you have,
if you have friends that have them,
maybe give you some.
We got some alpha too.
per Katie here,
if you teacher,
Katie January community member of the month,
and this is one of the reasons why bringing the alpha mid show,
if a little alpha for,
Z participators,
gift at least 10 Zs and be eligible to mint one more pack.
There you go.
Katie, you got 50 coming your way
as soon as it gets done checking.
All right.
I have minted all 10 packs of my legendary.
10 legendaries.
10 legendary, 10,000 Zsats i am officially zeat whale zeat card
whale i am cooked on zeats bro i have 13 zeats left i at one point had 25 000 i degened about
8 000 away and i gave 5 000 um and i gave 5,000 out.
There were so many people spending that Scotty and them had to give like 50%
reimbursements back to people
because people were on the timeline.
They were bitching because they're
all DJs and they gambled their
zeats away and they just lost them all.
It was great.
They definitely have some FOMO going going in this could be good for abstract
and i'm gonna see if these packs i see the packs aren't on chain
bro i had people in my dms asking me to sell them zits
there were people that i don't know what some of these people paid somebody bought 10 000 zits
uh i mean just then like getting someone to
gift them or what was the yeah yeah because you could gift 250 max so and i don't think i think
you could gift the same person as many times you want but you go to gift your
ZITs, you can send
10 to 250 ZITs per
gift to eligible users, up
to 20 gifts.
5,000 ZIT limit
lifetime cap.
And recipients must have an X account
at least six months old.
Hit milestones to unlock common
pack mints.
So yeah, there's 583 legendaries left on my screen.
I just, Katie, I'm sending you 50 seats right now.
It took a minute to, I had to check a couple times because it timed out.
I'm guessing just the load of the site right now as people are picking up these packs.
But as soon as that sends, I'll go back and attempt to mint at least one more.
You're very welcome. Thanks for sharing the alpha.
And yeah, I hope...
I mean, who knows? I've been saying Abstract needs their flagship app.
Maybe this becomes it. Maybe this is the one that gives people a reason to continue to come back and use Abstract on a daily basis. I'm genuinely curious what comes out of this and how the tournaments work, how the squads work, etc. I've not gotten in those chats or any of that yet either. So we will, we'll jump into that momentarily.
Just trying to see if this goes.
I'm seeing a few legendaries minted.
I'm looking on secondary.
Yeah, they're on secondary.
Z creator cards, three words.
You're going to see some other fake ones.
I think they've been getting those pulled down as it as it um you know
as as things uh as these fake accounts keep going up i'm trying to see if there's any legendaries
that have popped out i'm waiting to see one like big big sale like i think i think if you somebody
gets like a whale legendary um i i could see that selling for north or one eve i mean if not more than that so there's
some offers but i don't and it looks like there's some movement on the legendaries but i don't see
any sales yet has have they released like the and i apologize because i'm asking because i don't know
like have they released mechanics yet? Why would a whale
sell for over one ETH?
What is that going to do for you?
We don't know yet.
So you're saying pure speculation
because of the impressions
he gets, you think his car
will be worth over one ETH?
Yeah, I don't. I wouldn't pay any ETH
for it because we don't know.
I would not be buying whale right now because I'm not knocking whale, but I don't, I wouldn't pay any for it. Cause we don't know. And, and like, I would not be buying whale right now because not knocking whale,
but I don't,
I'm glad whale gets paid.
I don't think whale drives much value to the,
a lot of some,
I'm sure he has,
but I think a lot of the people who pay whale to post,
I'm not sure there's ends up being a lot of conversions.
I think a lot of people have muted whale.
A lot of people know that whales have paid billboard.
I would not be buying whale cards,
at least not for an ETH, especially because I don't think it's going to be in a lot of conversions. I think a lot of people have muted whale. A lot of people know that whales have paid billboard. I would not be buying whale cards, at least not for an ETH,
especially because I don't think it's going to be based off Twitter impressions and Twitter
activity. They're saying it's going to be off other metrics. And therefore, I think some of
those that are known to have very high volume and numbers on impressions, I think might be
overvalued. Whereas I think like the people I'd be buying
are like a, I'd buy like an Emilio, for instance, not the biggest creator, but someone who I think
had a big come up and I think puts out a lot of really good information, a lot of good threads,
a lot of great insight. There's people like Emilio that those would be, that was, that was
who, and I'm not, please don't take this out of context. I'm not taking shots at whale. I'm just,
no way I'll be paying an ETH for a whale card
right now, especially if it's not going to be based off
X impressions. I'd look for people who
other things.
I agree. I'd buy a Cheezus legendary far before
I'd buy a whale legendary.
three people...
I've had two people
already pull a rare Cheezus card.
Hey, don't sell that one.
Shut the front door.
I have mine listed for
five ETH. It's like, hey,
I value myself
enough to list that
five ETH. It's probably cheap, but hey, it gets me
a pudgy penguin
is what it gets me.
Joey, we have no clue how these things are going to work and how they're going to do this because they can't use X engagement.
No legendary sales yet.
There's been one rare card sold.
One, our guy, Yatt Museum, one of his common cards just sold.
Eric F., a bunch of Yatt Museum one of his common cards just sold. Eric F., a bunch of Yat Museum,
Yat common cards just sold.
Trying to see, looks like,
we'll sort by price.
Where do I do that?
Well, no, you're looking at the mints coming through.
The last sale was six hours ago.
Yeah, no, so this is sales.
I'm looking at sales.
Last sale was a Yat common card six hours ago. Yeah, so this is sales. I'm looking at sales. Last sale was a YAC common card six hours
One just sold man versus coin common
card just sold for .001.
That's $1.96.
That sold 10 seconds
ago. So there's our first sale post
pack rips.
We'll see. I hope they get some traction today. If not,
we, you know, maybe
up there is a Carl common card. So there's some activity popping in. We'll see. I hope they get some traction today. If not, we, you know, maybe up there is a Carl
common card. So there's some activity
popping in. We'll see how things...
Bro, you're
cheating Carl at fucking
a dollar? Get out of here.
Might be a good time to make some offers. If you're long
Z competition, whatever it
becomes, might be a good time to go make some
global offers and see if you can get some people that are
just grabbing their packs and exiting
Atari says,
my card I claimed from you isn't on my account
and it won't let me click buy packs.
That's frustrating.
Atari, maybe refresh.
I hope you weren't the one who didn't get
the claim. 23 of my 24 got claimed.
But let me flip back over here.
There's a Refo, a little bladed common card.
So they're going like $1.76, $4.71.
Hans, our guy Hans just bought a card from Refo common card.
I don't know who Refo is, but good to see the activity there.
And keep in mind, these are, like I said, it's on Abstract.
It is getting you probably some XP.
I think we're supposed to get a big XP update.
So let me ask you this.
Is the update going in this?
Like, are we expecting the changes to be in effect for the XP rewards tomorrow?
Or the changes go live tomorrow all
right so sygard uh reposted he quote posted his post uh 11 hours ago and said reminder
that this is happening starting this week do not be surprised to see drastic changes to the xp you
earn so it could be higher, lower.
They want on-chain volume.
They want on-chain transactions.
If you were in the, if you were in the AMA on Saturday,
Michael and Saigar were there.
They were accepting questions.
I went up there talking about a lot of things for streaming,
but he did say that,
you know, games that have a lot of things for streaming, but he did say that, you know,
games that have a lot of off-chain assets,
that those games are going to get hit harder
because they want more on-chain activity.
So, for example, and this is no knock to any games,
but Voxel Queen came up,
and she was talking about their game um and this is for
rui and that is uh i think it's vaults of ember um i may be butchering that sorry if i am oh good
um real quick and go ahead continue this if i run refill a coffee mobile stream job yeah yeah go
ahead if it's wrapped up proof alpha dj Machiavelli is on stage as well.
So, yeah, you got to look at some of the games
that have a lot of on-chain activity.
So, this game,
apparently some of their assets are off-chain
and a lot of the transactions are off-chain.
So, there's only a set percentage of their transactions that are on-chain and a lot of the transactions are off-chain so like there's you know there's
there's only a set percentage of their transactions that are on chain because that's what allows them
to have better gameplay so she went up asking hey if we if we bring more of these on is that worth
the cost you know because it does cost these teams a lot of money to build things on chain
you know because it does cost these teams a lot of money to build things on chain
they want to make sure it's it's a the trade-off is good their community gets rewarded
so that's one of the games i don't know about tolling universe and obviously a lot of the
games of chance are you know more so you know on chain every one you know, on-chain. Every one of them has on-chain transactions for every move.
But, Cap, I don't know when you get back.
I'll explain why such a mad push on Moody Madness
because that is one of the games that has the most on-chain transactions.
Well, how did they respond to her?
She's just to her question of, does that help them?
Did they say yes?
Or did they say not necessarily?
Well, no, they told her that, you know,
then you guys as a team need to figure out
the cost of bringing X amount of assets on-chain
and keeping the gameplay pleasant for the community.
Because she even said, well, if we bring all these assets on chain,
that there's going to be a big effect to the gameplay.
And, you know, so if that's the issue,
they're going to have to bring more on chain,
but, you know, make it to where they're either gonna have to scale the game up and keep the
gameplay smooth and nice and organic uh but it's going to be a balance so it's going to be hard
did i miss like can you you don't have to have like the transactions on game just the assets on
chain right well you want you want transactions um and that's what that's what saigar posted about a month ago
they want more on you know because it's better for them to go to vcs and say look at all the
transactions we have look at all the volume we have that's one of their biggest uh the biggest
fud points right now pain points that i see outside of the abstract circle. Even one of my own co-hosts, Kenny, he shits on abstract nonstop because there's little
to no volume over there.
And he doesn't want to go trade.
There's no action on meme coins.
He's used to trading fast at Solana.
And so people are discouraged by that.
So now they're pushing for these on-chain transactions and they want to run it, run it, run it.
So that's why a lot of the GambleFi games,
the Moody madness.
I was going to say, that's probably why Moody's popping off
because it's on-chain transactions.
But bro, let me tell you,
Cap, we'll have to do some late night streams.
I'll get an idiot on there.
This is a racing game that is so fun.
And it's real short tracks.
You can literally fly your car because there's like fans
and like you land and crash.
You're freezing your opponents.
You're collecting these gas cans.
Like I haven't played it in a while,
but I'm really going to start picking it back up
because I was like an early tester on the game.
But if this is going to be where the volume goes because of the on-chain activity, you're damn right.
I'm going to be moodying it up.
And they have AI agents, some type of AI agent in the ecosystem.
And that was the other big push that Sygar said.
They want to make abstract more agentic, I guess, if I'm butchering that word.
I don't know.
But they want your Claudebot interacting with things on abstract.
so in the next few weeks we're going to see a lot of things rolling out about that um uh more
integration of um ai agents on on abstract chain so a lot of exciting stuff coming man yeah it
makes sense and if that's um if you're trying to drive transactions i would think agents can
can perform a lot more transactions than your average human uh not even just talking 24 7
crypto scheme also said there was an ama uh that was pretty sweet on Saturday. It's like Inner Igloo
Meeting, but for Abstract, Double
Down on Moody is awesome. Plays it every day.
We'll have to get someone from the Moody
team on here. If anyone knows that anyone on
that team, I would appreciate an intro.
DM intro would have to
have him on at some point.
Yeah, I can intro you. Appreciate it. Payne also adds
it is relatively fun. It does get somewhat old after
But yeah, transactions came from their latest Moody Balls drop mechanic.
Not to be confused with Machiavelli's other balls over in the other side.
I didn't say anything inaccurate there.
And just for clarity, I'm not paid by Abstract. Hold up hold up hold up hold up other balls has is not not mine other balls is a
community run event by a female and the other side named dupes i thought you're gonna say other
just no does everybody have balls like all the skins like eight balls and no no man it's a it's a it's a
it's a soccer uh situation they just finished their second uh season oh they're going into
their third yeah anybody can participate all right uh yeah you gotta get this space under control
yeah crypto some ads uh moody's is like Mario Kart for Web3.
If you're into Mario Kart, you got to go do,
you got to head to Universal Epic and they go to their Mario World.
It's like, I'm not like a, I'm not a,
like a amusement park type person.
It doesn't do it for me.
I don't like roller coasters.
I've aged out of that.
My kids have aged out of that.
But Mario World Epic Universal is worth the trip. trip if you're especially if you're into that stuff
um i actually uh enjoyed it uh they got a mario mario kart game that was pretty fun
um that said let me do let's do this katie i will try to go back and it keeps timing out
trying to give you those those seats but i will do that do that later. Did you get your packs? I did, yeah.
I want to open them now.
Oh, shit. I'm watching.
Where do I...
406 remaining in Legendary, by the way.
So if you're trying to get some of those Legendary packs, 40%
remain. Where
do I open packs?
I don't know.
They gave me the option to open them right after I bought them,
but I said open later.
Let me go to my profile.
Maybe they're there.
No, no, no.
There we go.
I got five packs.
We're going to open.
Let's start with the common.
We'll open the common pack first.
See what you get, bro.
I got the pop up
there we go
gotta prove it
good luck me
I think they're having some tech challenges
with the added volume this morning
the challenges
of building on chain
doing what abstract wants but blockchains can be finicky volume this morning. The challenges of building on-chain. Doing what Abstract wants, but
blockchains
can be finicky when you've got a lot of people trying to do something
at once. Here we go. We're going to open the comment pack.
Speaking of Mario World.
Who'd you get? Let's see. Hey!
We got an Ashley Decans. That's a pretty good card, I feel.
Yeah, I'll take it. It's good. I'll take that one. Let's see. Hey, we got an Ashley Decans. That's a pretty good card, I feel. Yeah, I'll take it.
It's good.
I'll take that one.
Let's go back. Another common pack.
We'll fire through these as fast as they'll let us get to that legendary.
I don't have many. There's just three.
I've got three.
Watch you end up getting a legendary whale and selling it for one ETH.
If I get a legendary whale and someone wants to offer me one ETH,
I will race to the buy button or the accept button.
Xanax, Anarchy Arc.
I'm not sure who this is, but we'll take it.
Is it possible to get a legendary in a rare pack
or the best you can get is a rare?
No, it's just rares. Here we go. Let's get a good, let's get a legendary in a rare pack, or the best you can get is a rare? No, it's just rares.
Here we go.
Let's get a good, let's get a Cheezus rare.
That's what we're rooting for here.
Here we go.
It's worth five ETH right now.
That's the floor.
I mean, the floor is infinity if there's none listed.
Oh, there's mine listed.
I have it listed at five.
I have one listed.
That's what I should do.
I'll list my rare for five years.
I'll list mine for 6.9 just so I can claim I'm
more valuable than... I got a higher floor than Jesus.
Oh my god.
Nancy Nick Common
Austin.EthRare
A-W-E-S-T-I-N
Nice. This is
going to get me following some new people as well
and a Maya Wah Rare. Unfamiliar, but I'm looking forward to uh following some new people as well in a maya wah rare
unfamiliar but i'm looking forward to connecting with some new people in the space
i recognize some of the names i think that's a unintended consequence this is it'll get uh
people connecting that don't normally interact maha i see you up on stage as soon as i open this
legendary pack we'll get to you next appreciate your patience here's the legend here's the big
one legendary cheeses. Are you nervous?
No, but I'm...
It's probably going to be...
I'm guessing it's going to be a legendary whale
since I was dunking on him indirectly.
Whale wasn't dunking on you if you happen to catch him.
You get five cards with this.
First one is a common Murhab.
Yep, he's big on Abstract.
Alright. Next is a
Soul Frater common.
Rocking the
Yappie Barra.
A Shagrith rare. I know Shagrith.
Take that.
I got a Shagrith common, so I'll add a Shagrith rare.
A Scoot Rare.
And then the Legendary one.
Give me a big Legendary here.
Ah, another Rare.
Lubu, Privacy Season.
Alright, so we got three Rares in the Legendary pack.
Yeah, that's what I was saying.
You only have a 15% chance of landing a Legendary.
That's it.
Out of the Legendary pack. Out of the legendary pack, out of the last
two spots, you
have a 15% chance.
Dort says, you know I'm not plugged in when I have
not heard of anyone so far.
I heard a few of them. You've heard of Ashley Decans
rare, or Dort.
Yeah, only a 15% chance
of legendary and legendary pack, but three rares.
Good pull for the three rares.
Yeah, only a 15% chance of legendary, so I hope those are ripping good pull for the three rares um yeah only a 15
chance legendary so i hope those are ripping yet legendaries hope you get a hope you get a legendary
there's a lot of legendaries i'm filtering right now through the legendaries there's a josh young
legendary out there a vo puke rainbow a gmb i mean there's a lot of legendaries out here
uh oh you chris shout out to my creeps, bro.
Yeah, they're there.
Oh, somebody got a Scotty legendary.
That's going to be a good one, huh?
Is there a dork legendary?
Oh, no, I don't see one yet.
Legendary is not his PFP, though.
It's him going toe-to-toe with Nikola Jokic.
That's the, if you missed it. If you know, you though. It's him going toe-to-toe with Nikola Jokic. That's the...
If you missed it. If you know, you know.
I'm not going to show... I'm not going to go back to...
I did not go to the Toadstool Cafe, however,
Ginger Beloved. That looks like a miss on my part
from my trip to
Mario World.
If you know, you know,
Dork and Jokic got into a little, uh, a little,
little, little scrum in the NBA streets not too long ago.
Um, welcome to the stage.
Appreciate your patience.
GM, what brought you up this morning?
GM brothers.
You guys were talking about the abstract gaming side.
So I figured I could, I could insert myself here pretty well. You know know i was just curious where vq came up with if she was asking to put
these transactions on chain because there was you know a better play experience or if it was purely
just to get apps to show more love and attention to like she was calling them like r2s or i i don't
know the the term it was i i guess like the assets themselves within the game
so okay so she's saying she just wants to do on game assets and yeah yeah and right now they have
limited so the quality of the game is good and i guess for them to bring on a larger amount of
items on chain it would degrade the gameplay. I could, I could completely see it.
Cause there is just so much you can do because like even us, when we had to
press like next day, you know, there is a transaction taking place.
So even that split second delay does change the user experience and hers is so
live, like they have such a action packed game.
So I can see it being more difficult, but I do think for them bringing stuff on chain for the asset portion would be great for players because that's kind of why
i think web pre-gaming has such like a an edge still in a sense if that's maybe the right word
for it but it is it's that ownership portion of your actual playable asset not so much that
your verification on chain of the play like that is a portion if it's the right game but just my
perspective is the asset hold oh i agree i i wholeheartedly agree and i think now some games
might make sense to have their transactions on chain but i think for the most part it's
it's just forget the assets on game now i get what abstracts going for is more
um they want more transactions so i understand the why behind it. But yeah, I just, some games would,
quite frankly, some games would break
if they try to put the entire gameplay on chain.
Yeah, 100%.
The Gambit games, I think, are the best to have on chain,
especially if they're doing like some proof of play
or some sort of, you know, verification with third party.
That's where I like to see that like actual on chain happen.
But yeah, I'm curious, because this is a great place where we get to see that like actual launching happen but yeah i'm curious
because this is a great place where we get to see some use cases going down and then we get to see
like what is the push that line between like actual user experience and uh user ownership and
which are we willing to give up for the other side i have to ask uh since you're on stage
proof of alpha dj is this are you running back like the Orange vs Aquamarine background here? What's happening? You know it, 100%.
I was triggered by Muah this weekend when I said something,
and he said something in the comments, and I said,
oh, well, here, I got you.
And I went and doctored up his background and came back,
and he said, PFP it then.
Why don't you, you coward?
And I said, oh, really?
Don't threaten me with a good time.
All right, so I thought you went and actually purchased the twin
that had a different background, but you just
right-click, saved his, and swapped
the background for the weaker
background and went orange.
Bro, ordinals are dead.
Is that an ordinal?
An ordinal?
Oh, my. Why am I... Y'all about to get some alpha right now, y'all. Maha An ordinal Oh my
Y'all about to get some alpha right now
Disrespecting the nibbles bro
Nibbles are ordinals
That's the alpha
Nibbles are not ordinals
Come find us on BTC
Go to Magic Eden you'll see it
We'll come back to that
Real quick because someone just shared this in the chat
Speaking of Magic Eden we will continue to dunk on them because they're not paying me to
support them kind of serious um not really but i'll lean into the bit uh if you bought ten
thousand dollars worth of magic eden on launch you would you would now have 102 99 loss the reply
guys from a year ago will need 1000x000x on Magic Eden, mass extraction just to break even.
It's not token pricing. I just don't know where they go from here.
And a lot of people did well on that token claim. A lot of people did well on that airdrop.
We were talking about it in the war room over the weekend, and a few people, it was like one of their larger airdrops.
I felt vastly over-promised, under-delivered, because I wasn't on ordinals.
And they claimed there was
going to be a big reward for historical ETH volume, and that didn't play out, at least not in my case.
I got, wasn't, I don't know. I don't know if I ended up ever claiming, because it was going to
be like $37, and I had to download a new wallet, do all that, and it was just, it was disappointing.
And, no, I did, because it was, it was a, it was like a slow drip. It was just, it was bad all around him from my opinion.
I did not, uh, uh, I, I checked out for magic eating as soon as I feel I got rugged on the,
on the token claim. Hey, it's nine 30. I'm going to need to check markets, see what's happening.
Um, any, anyone else has any other thoughts, comments, whether abstract related or otherwise,
feel free to throw up a hand.
But markets are opening as we speak.
And I think we don't do this every day, but with this weekend's activity, I thought it'd be worth a check in here at 930 when things go live.
No movement yet.
It looks down slightly, but nothing major.
Actually flattish still to open.
Moody Mites jumping up.
I think anyways.
Hopefully I'm not getting farmed.
It says, cult leader Moody Madness
and the last pinned tweet is Moody Madness.
So maybe we can get a Moody Madness take.
Nancy, yes, I'm glad I pulled your card.
Thanks for the love in the chat.
Appreciate you being here.
Alex, GM, welcome to the stage.
I'm guessing you heard us talking about Moody Mites and jumped up to fill in some details.
Is that accurate?
If not, take it whichever direction you'd like.
Welcome to coffee.
GM, GM, everyone.
And thanks for bringing me up.
Actually, someone from the community pinged me.
So I was like, yeah, sure.
I'll hop in.
I saw Jesus. And I and i like let's go uh so uh i didn't catch
the whole convo uh i know a lot of a lot of things are happening with xeat and uh the whole war
but uh anything about moody i can just jump in and share whatever is like most useful for you guys can you give us a like a i
guess a tldr someone referred to it as the mario kart of web 3 uh she was was beating the drums
that's a really fun short racing game um from your perspective how would you describe moody mites
yeah okay um i'll start first that it's uh multi-cycle company. It's been around for four years. We have one billion assets on chain. We have multiple products and like Jesus mentioned, Moody Madness, the racing game is one of the flagship products that it was built around fun and streaming and connecting people
on abstract um it's quite popular there there are two weekly shows people are playing the game but
next week there's a collectible game it's like um it's like uh this short dopamine linko mechanic
for collecting stuff it's pretty active at the moment and between two of them i think it's uh 50 of the on-chain
activity around abstract right now we're cooking a lot of stuff just sold out the collection abstract
very affordable one in this market we're releasing an ai product this digital storytelling opened the
story around abstract it's it's I think it's live right now.
You don't need to buy anything.
You can just check it out.
So I'll just describe it as an entertainment company,
and the Moody's are kind of flagship IP,
and the products are in that.
So it's kind of not very useful.
So the current, I saw some screen grabs. So it's kind of not very useful yet, but yeah.
So the current, I saw some screen grabs.
I do have a port up on stage here, but it looks like this battle pass.
For those, like if someone wants to get started today,
what should they do over on MoodyMites?
Go buy a battle pass and then do some, you know, rip some, I guess, packs or what are they even called?
Not packs, but...
Yeah, I got it.
So if you're new, I always suggest go to Abstract Portal,
check it out, watch what it is.
There are multiple streamers, thousands of posts every day.
Just check it if it's for you.
Now, if you want to grab this is like
six or seven bucks for 40 days so it's like it's not pay for every game or do
is that battle pass for a long time we give you an assistant so if you have
time to play to have fun their daily missions their stuff if you're more kind
of a passive player you can leverage your assistance to help you out a bit but if you're more kind of dopamine let me see what i will pull
you can go to moody drops which is really fully on chain and start pulling some some cards some
pangu rewards so it's kind of ecosystem that it will be in about a week or two,
it will be completed with the whole digital archive.
So the people that collects through the game will combine,
will connect to the people who collects in drops.
And you can explore.
But it's just the beginning of it.
And the rabbit hole is deeper.
But yeah, for $7, we now give $10, $12 of bonuses and the rabbit hole is deeper but yeah for seven bucks we now give 10 12 dollars of
bonuses and stuff so you can just go there or just simply let me do a shameless plug of one of our
ambassadors every monday there's a weekly show it's called moody monday and you can receive some free
battle passes check out the game check out the fun
some of the best creators on abstract racing and later today you can just check out the game
see if you like the vibes nice i appreciate you jumping up thanks can you tell me who pinged you
who uh so i can give them some thanks for uh pinging you today who who uh was it that reached
out yeah it's it's Bandito with the Quirkys
PFP, so shout out to Bendito.
Shout out to Bendito, appreciate you
and thanks so much
for joining us on the Zero Notice
but also shout out
to those that are crushing it over
Dort is like running about as pure as anyone
in this current market
minted another legendary pack twice in a row.
And also had Dwayne pulled a legendary
and his only legendary pack.
It's BitressXBT.
Not sure it is, but he'll find out.
Congrats to all the legendary pack
or legendary card pullers over there.
Good start to the week.
People are ripping legendary cards on EAT.
Beepic and CryptoScam,
thank you very much for the abstract tip.
Greatly appreciated.
And what time is that Moody Monday show?
I might have lost Alex.
Let's do this.
Maha, I know we flew over Nibbles.
I know enough that it's not a Ordinals project,
but STM McFly says,
let's hear about Nibbles since we have you on stage.
Do you want to give us a little...
We've got markets, by the way, for those that were tuning in.
Looks like Dow, Nasdaq, and Dow,
like 0.85 to 1% down on open.
It'll be an interesting day.
I assume it'll be pretty volatile today in all the streets.
Bitcoin, though, is ripping on open.
Up $500 on a day, but a nice candle since markets opened.
I don't know what that means, but probably going to be a, you know, ETH as well, rip straight up upon markets opening.
So take that for what it's worth.
I don't know anything other than that GUE token short.
It did quickly get liquidated.
Scam, pump of all scams.
I'm kidding, I shouldn't say this.
I don't know what, I have not talked to the team.
I don't know what... I have not talked to the team. I don't know what they're doing, but all I know is I do not think
it is a $441
million FDV token,
but is being supported right now.
There's only 7,400 holders,
exceeding expectations, we'll say that.
That said, Moahaha, you want to tell us a little more about Nibbles?
Of course, guys.
Of course. To, of course.
And to make it very clear,
it's not an ordinal. It's very much a joke.
It is on mainnet.
Okay, let's, I probably should start there.
Thank you, Proof, for misinforming the people.
But yeah, so we have our main collection, Frankie's.
That's what we've been building for the last three years.
We obviously had a couple titles on Abstract over there.
Last year, we had some pretty cool success, and we brought a couple new characters to the ecosystem in the title itself.
And the reason we did was we already think about expanding, you know, what is our storytelling, what is our lore, all this other stuff.
And we decided January fooled us a little.
We're like, all right, this is the year.
This is the year to expand an ecosystem.
And so we had made that announcement um markets are are definitely not in our favor right now but we still think
bringing these eight characters in is going to lead to a really fun year for us building
more storytelling and so even if we are going into a bear market i think this is the best time for us
to really tuck our heads down and build something more profound for 2027 even so the nibbles is eight characters uh they're going to
be accompanying frankie and his uh best friend chico and his nemesis the pig and what we call
this great pig and frog chase uh it's mostly based on kind of our classic cat and mouse story of
you know just endlessly chasing something and so in this, our pig is always trying to put Frankie on the menu.
He wants his frog legs for a great new taste in the restaurant.
And as we were building those stories out a couple years ago,
as much fun as we had, like telling these little cat and mouse,
we just recognized there's not an up-depth.
And so that's when we started thinking about like, what is Nibbles?
You know, what is a supporting cast?
And that's where we came up with this wolf that you guys all see and i think mac like loves its backstory we're trying to tell like
a bit more of a contemporary story on what classic fairy tales are and this particular wolf is pretty
down bad in society right now and uh after blowing over too many houses and now the pigs are doing a
bit better uh he's indebted and so he he's doing all their dirty deeds and he's kind
of like their right hand man. So it's a bit about what Nibbles is, is basically an ecosystem
expansion for us, but it also helps us bring in a new community. When we did Frankie Gone Abs,
we saw 70,000 people come through the game. So we were able to retain quite a few new people
in the community itself. And so we wanted to really make sure we can expand and bring people in as we
expand the IP too.
I apologize that my dog was,
I'm a little out of breath.
I had to run doors open.
He he's got like his arch nemesis is not a frog or a nibble,
rather this squirrel that taunts him.
It gets on the bird cage,
the screened in patio area. And it, it knows what it's doing. It taunts my dog. He was losing his mind.
I was trying to get a neighbor complaint. So anyways, had to run out. He would not come in.
He's like, I'm not leaving this squirrel, ran out, carried him back inside. And anyways, I did
catch most of that. And the, um, just to confirm that what I missed is this adoptions opening tomorrow.
It's $69 a minute.
Is that right?
Yeah, that's correct.
So, you know, we've heard some some pushback on this.
And it's it's fair.
So to see in a market where, you know, especially the turmoil, like we didn't expect to be where we are today and even has myself sitting here like, you know, we've put a lot towards tomorrow but if if this war situation gets
worse like should we reconsider is this the right time to be distracting people from you know serious
reality and stuff but beyond that uh we have we've been here for three years and you know go back to
frankie go as well as like we're really about bringing about like value back to holders and so
frankie go we offered free and paid play and so we offered our holders like paid play like once
per day last season and so things like that we want to make sure we do with this ecosystem as
we expand it is we don't want to do it at a price that we feel like over time we can't provide that
value back um we don't want to put a time horizon on that of course like there's no way for us to
promise like you know do 69 today and get double by the end of the year like that's that's not what
we want to do as a business model or trying to promote but it is that i think that holding nfts should have a certain amount of
value it doesn't necessarily need to be like a dollar amount but i think it should come with
you know whether it be discounts or perks or community events or anything like that but if
it can be come back in the sense of you know people playing games and there's rewards in it
then wonderful so um, yeah. Awesome.
Machiavelli dropping his Frankie in the chat. And Frankie's every
day for the last week or so, I look
over at OpenSea and Frankie's diners are
trending over there.
And you probably said this, so I apologize if I missed it when I ran to
grab the dog, but I see
like the first-come, first-serve
is, or rather, if you hold a
drumstick, it's first-come, first- or rather if you hold a drumstick,
it's first come first serve,
you be able to burn it and claim a bone,
which gives you a guaranteed spot to mint.
Is that timing already passed?
Like for those that like, okay, I want to grab one of these tomorrow,
what do they need to do to be able to participate in the mint?
Man, you give me the best questions.
I appreciate this.
So I love what we did for
this this was a really fun activation uh about three weeks ago maybe four weeks ago now we
distributed all those drumsticks to our holders uh i was really inspired by what austin did with
nuko i had followed early i really liked the passing of badges and then being given a second
badge for distribution i just thought it was really good curation engagement and so yeah we did the
same we did 15 we did,000 drumsticks total,
which represented those first comes, first serves.
We did them as just a tradable,
I'm sorry, as a transferable, non-tradable NFT,
so there wouldn't be a floor price on it.
People couldn't get burnt by, you know,
they can go and see.
Because, like, I'm familiar with Soulbound tokens.
This is the first time I'm hearing it say
transferable but non-tradable.
What do you do?
How do you do?
Do you blacklist the marketplaces
how is this is it yep is that it pretty much yeah you just run it through a validator and just say
hey this can't go as a trade through these marketplaces and then just allow transfer
still to be on very cool i love it go ahead sorry didn't mean to interject no no i think it's great
because this is this is stuff we thought about that we wanted to be like the new like the nuances
of importance that like people don't go spend 120 on on a whitelist and then find out that it is $69, not, you know, Freeman or something.
And then they feel like double burned, you know, or they feel like they then have to like, you know, 3X, 4X to even make break even.
Like that's just going to create a really bad sentiment in the community.
So that was the first portion was we distributed three fourths of these drumsticks to our community.
And we told them, hey, like, go out and find people, you know, see who you guys want.
Because you've already seen all these people come through Frankie Go.
Was there anybody that you love so much?
Like, make sure they end up with a drumstick.
Talk to them about what's going on.
If someone's new as well, they're not just coming in and, like, Discord shilling for a whitelist.
Like, they have to talk to a community member to really get that piece and then hopefully learn a bit more about our community or the project before they get this.
And so friction for the right reasons is what we're trying to create here.
And so we did all that.
Distribution went incredible.
The community distributed to about 3,000 wallets and we only have 558 people, like wallets
in our community.
And so of that, 275 are active.
And again, gave us amazing metrics to see what are people doing,
who is actually doing things in our community and ecosystem.
But saw the distribution happen.
And then last week we opened the burn,
which did allow 5,000 first come first serves to be upgraded to guaranteed.
All of them were claimed within a four-day period.
So it was very good to see again,
friction for good reasons is we put up the,
we did this in our hub.
We have a community tool that we just created.
And so if anybody wants to check it out,
it's very cute.
Frankie the frog.com backslash hub.
But that's where we did our burn.
We told them to go in there and,
heat up their chicken for themselves in the microwave,
which I don't know if that's what we should be doing, but that's what they're doing. And so I did a little kilo
activation. The chicken would blow up and you'd get boned was the phrase. And so once you did,
though, that was then an SBT. So we wanted the guaranteed spots to actually be sole bound. So
they weren't moving around too much again to kind of reducing the OTC measure. And so we also did
all this behind a paywall to an extent.
Like, we just made sure that there was $30 in the wallet
so that we couldn't get boughted.
You know, and then also, like, we are doing a $69 admit.
We want people to think, like, okay, I do need dollars in here.
But metrics were great.
We saw 2,788 people come through the burn.
And, of course, like, there was about two per person, roughly,
for the burn itself.
So I think it gave us really, really strong numbers going in and thinking, okay, this
is what should be active.
This is what on average probably will end up minting because it's not going to be 100%
of course.
And then we have right after the GTD phase will come the collector phase. So if you guys own a Creeps, a Pudgy, a Ape,
a handful of very, very good collections out there,
you are eligible for that round.
And then will come the first come first serve
and then public.
So if you would still like to obtain
a first come first serve,
the snapshot will occur tonight.
So you do have time to go out there
and grab a drumstick still if you'd like.
And those drumsticks are on mainnet or abstract? Everything's on mainnet for this. We do still
have products on abstract. I think that personally, I like the collections themselves to be on mainnet.
I think it gives the projects the most mobility to go place to place. And so you can still
participate in L2s, but you know, your main community is at the very top. Yep, I wholeheartedly
agree. And shameless shill
for one of our most recent sponsors.
If anyone's looking for assistance
on going multi-chain, go check out
Unvault. We'll have a segment with them on Thursday
coming up. I'm going to interview with Aaron
and Ernest last week.
But great solution there, and I agree.
If I'm submitting some assets
there, I'd be putting them on mainnet as well, and then
taking those gaming assets
and others elsewhere.
Awesome, man.
Well, I appreciate you jumping up today.
Appreciate you sharing.
I'll say this.
You've got a lot of legends in the chat
that are rocking these Frankies.
There's Katie, Fly, Sure Frankie,
STM McFly, Machiavelli.
Got a lot of Frankies in the chat.
And I, for one, appreciate the new mechanics
and doing things differently,
experimenting on chain. I've been beating the drum. We need more of this.
Don't just run back to the same old tired 2021-22 new playbook. Do new things. Leverage new mechanics. Learn from what others are doing.
You gave a shout out to Austin and what they did with those badges and Nuko and this idea
of transferable but non-tradable
NFTs. It's just a lot of thought and effort.
Based on just the quick interaction we've had this morning,
the exact opposite of low effort.
And we'll be rooting for you all
and hope Mint goes well for you.
Interesting time, but man, there's a lot happening.
And I'll say that.
It seems to me like,
forget price action of majors
and even NFTs for that matter.
There's a lot going on right now from NFT collections have been around for a while doing new things from, you know,
Z and their creator packs and what they're doing over on abstract to the, you know,
we're just talking Moody Mites and the volume they've been driving with some of their new mechanics to everything happening on mega ETH.
Like there's just, there's a a lot that's actually taking place,
and you're probably not going to see an immediate 100x overnight,
but there's opportunities to capitalize in this space.
One, I just saw this, but one would be our friends over at Beezy,
who, while we didn't hit any of these
quite grails on Friday
when we were doing our
claw pulls, there was just
a Mario Pikachu
PSA 10, just sold for
over on Beezy.
was the, looks like the buyer here, finally got
the Mario full art thank
you bz just wild twenty eight thousand dollar sale in a quote-unquote bear uh you might maybe
it's a bear maybe it's a bear for majors and and overall it all's and memes but there's certainly
opportunities to be had you just got to be a little more selective, but pay attention and you never know
what might come your way.
We got about 10
minutes here before we get everyone out of here. We might wrap
a few minutes early, but looking
back at markets, it is
SP, as I mentioned, did open
up first time since the war began, down 0.65%.
SP futures have already erased
half of their overnight losses.
If you're calling for World War III, the market respectfully disagrees.
I mentioned Bitcoin and ETH both ripping.
Here's a quick, not the best chart I know,
but there's a quick Google search shows me just the Google chart
and you can get the point with the candle flying off the page.
It was down to 65, 370-ish before markets opened,
and then we're already up to 66, 670 pretty quickly. Up now 1.39% of the day, but that's
after it was down. So it went from down about a percent to up a percent within the last 20 minutes.
I don't know, could see a reversal, but good good start. If you ask me, ETH, the same,
you know, God candle, little dip, another God candle. Good, good start for majors.
All I know, things will be likely continue to be volatile throughout the day. Wealthcare adds,
Pokemon market is near all time high. Yeah, it seems to be definitely not a bear for Pokemon.
all-time high yeah it seems to be yeah definitely not a bear for pokemon i would agree uh and then
i don't know i just had kobasti letter pulled up for markets they also just shared that the
iranian state media just shared the wife of supreme leader has died um i again i'm not the
expert here you're it's not going to be over probably today it's probably going to continue
to be in the news for quite some time but worth paying attention to in terms of how it might impact markets.
I'm going to focus on things I can control, like my 75 hard today.
I got one workout in.
I got another at least 45-minute workout later today.
Peter just shared Infinity Medium.
Never heard of it.
It's new unto me, but I will maybe check that out as well.
And I didn't see any poker recommendations. I'm looking for some poker books. heard of it. It's new unto me. Uh, but I will, uh, maybe check that out as well. Uh, and, um,
I don't, I didn't see any poker recommendations. I'm looking for some poker books. Uh, I've been out off the felt for a while, uh, but going to start, going to start, uh, rounding a little
bit. So if anyone has any good poker reads, uh, let me know, would love to, um, um, would love
to do a little, uh, a little deeper dive on some game theory, optimal strategy, and whatnot.
Familiar, but it's been a while.
I'm a little rusty.
The only poker I played recently was cruise poker, where it's hard not to win on a soft game on the cruise.
Brick it all says, I'm an everyday Frankie Go player and got zero.
Brick it all, I don't know.
I can't speak for my haha, but maybe we can hook Brick it all
up with some love
for playing Frankie Go every day.
And when he says got zero, I'm guessing got zero
chicken bones
Anyways, all
that said, interesting week for sure.
Interesting weekend should be
an interesting week.
We do have a jam-packed schedule this week.
Let me actually go grab, I shared Friday's show link only because it's going to be episode 1111, 1111.
I'm not sure what that means.
But yeah, it looks like also a lot of the internet is down.
Major AWS outages knocks off large parts of the internet.
I couldn't connect to Claude this morning.
The last filler here, the last seven minutes,
is my Claude daily brief was not available.
Claude, I haven't checked it since the show started,
but it was down for me this morning.
Looks like AWS servers are down as well.
And so add to the volatility.
Yeah, I think Claude was down for everyone. And so add to the volatility some.
Yeah, I think Claude was down for everyone.
Like the whole thing was down.
Not sure if that's AWS related or otherwise, but it is, yeah, not great.
Let me drop the link for tomorrow.
I'll pin that up top before we play us out.
Dilla has been playing a lot of poker.
send me some of your favorite books.
I would appreciate it.
this poker room,
not far from me.
I'm going to,
I'm going to start,
they've got a big main event later this month.
I may go splash into some satellites and see if I can qualify.
It's like,
it's out of my range for being rusty.
I'm not going to buy in directly,
uh, I will, um, see if I can qualify. It's like, it's out of my range for being rusty. I'm not going to buy in directly, but I will see if I can qualify into it.
And if I get the itch, I might start playing.
They have like a monthly league and they've got some fun stuff.
So we'll see. I'm probably not, I think I'm negative EV,
but a good buddy of mine who plays says I would still,
it's like riding a bike. He thinks I'm still plus EV. So we'll see.
Hit the reminder for tomorrow's show though.
It's going to be pinned up top here momentarily. Appreciate all the love on that. And never mind, that's the wrong link. Maybe not. Well, I appreciate the thought, but it looks like
this link is not correct. So my apologies, stumbling
here. I got thrown for a loop this morning with Claude and then I'll post it anyways,
but I don't think it's right. Claude and then the spaces issue with the new phone. I'll have
to be troubleshooting that and figure out why. Yeah, that's not today's link. It's Friday's link.
So if you want to catch Friday's replay,
that's there.
Epic Universe is where, Tom, yes,
Epic Universe, the alpha would be
go see Mario World.
Go do the, if you're,
especially if you're a Harry Potter fan,
go experience that sort of stuff.
I'll say this.
I'm not an amusement park person, Tom.
It was my first time I've experienced like
augmented reality, mixed reality and been blown away. Like it was, try to describe it. Like you're
on a ride that's like taking you through a physical space and most of the ride, you can't
tell what's real and what's augmented reality. Like the depth of the thing, they just, it's a,
you're like inability, like it's, it's just really well done.
And with no, by the way, no, no headset, nothing.
It's just really well done mixed reality, augmented reality.
I don't know the proper word for it, but I was, as a tech nerd, I was blown away with
the tech, the best I've ever experienced by far, but not particularly close.
Now I will say on the Mario Kart game,
you have like a very,
I would say very rudimentary visor.
That's not like,
there's like obviously some tech baked into it
and it shoots where you look
or fires your turtle shells where you look,
which directionally,
but very, very basic tech,
at least by, you know, the headset's probably like, you know, $20ally, but very, very basic tech, at least by, by,
you know, the headset's probably like, you know, $20 or less, I would guess.
But yeah, enjoy it.
I'm curious what your thoughts are, especially if you're taking kids.
I think they will have a great time and definitely make time.
I mean, the nostalgia in me was more, I'm not the biggest, I mean, I, I, I don't not
like Harry Potter, but I'm not the biggest I mean I don't not like Harry Potter but I'm not like
some huge Harry Potter fan
and so for me the nostalgia of Mario World
was the spot definitely
don't miss that all that
said good luck to all those out there doing 75
hard or whole 30 or
infinity medium I
will probably not talk about it a ton here on the show but if you're
interested there is a group of us that
are doing 75 hard this month and next.
If you'd like an invite, reach out to Vo.
I'm sure she'll get you in there.
And good luck to all those that are working on their health journey.
We'll be back tomorrow.
I will get those links out later.
Good luck to those ripping Z-packs.
And we've got really special guests we're excited to share with you all on Wednesday.
I'll make sure to have that link ready to go tomorrow.
Hopefully I'll get the new phone working
and we'll be good to go on that front as well.
And also a special guest joining us on Thursday.
So Wednesday, Thursday, a couple of big guest shows.
Tomorrow we'll be back with all things market
and builders and culture.
But have a great rest of your Wednesday.
Appreciate y'all being here.
Appreciate all of our special guests,
Impromptu Alex and Maha.
Really appreciate you jumping up.
Shout out to the community members who pinged them
and say, hey, get in here.
They're talking about you.
Appreciate the jumping up
and helping us talk through some things in real time.
It's always great to hear from teams and founders
and community members that are passionate about projects
we're talking about in real time
where I'm not the subject matter expert.
Greatly appreciate that.
And good luck on your mint tomorrow.
We'll be rooting for you.
With that, stay safe out there.
And I hope you all have a wonderful, wonderful Monday, everyone. Thank you.
