Hello, it's it's good to be back um yeah man life has
been actually insane over the past six months like you said um i was actually doing a recap uh
talking with um my parents yesterday and just going over like where all i've been in the last
year and dude i have been to philippines singapore vietnam korea japan china miami california new york
uh seattle vegas and toronto all within the last year all because of god damn yeah all because of
web3 gaming and in crypto which is insane man so literally all over the world uh doing a lot of stuff it's crazy how
much life can change in a year and um yeah man like i said good to be back here on ronin radio
uh where it all started and um yeah man good to see you as well yes uh bro it's mad it is it is
mad when we think about it like how quickly things turned around i i'm intrigued personally
though as well
i don't even think i've asked you this question in person you know just a reminder in the philippines
we had a mark of the zeal event it was a great event probably one of the highlights of the week
um the party was popping we were playing darts there was axes giving away g-host pulled up like
there were so many good faces at that party as well shout out to all the mark of the zeal venue um all the mark of zeal guild members that showed up as well and uh it
was it was fun as fuck but i don't think i've asked you this question what do you think changed
bro like what what flipped the switch for you because it's been like a build-up of course over
about a year but like what what flipped the script that like i need to know um yeah man uh it's just a culmination of a lot
of things i think um so i it definitely was not a question it was 100 the highlight of my week at
the yg play summit uh getting to host my guild's first uh side event that was like truly like hosted by us and hosted by the guild
um that was an amazing amazing thing man it all comes full circle from getting started in 2021
and learning everything about the ecosystem learning everything about the philippines and
and getting so many different guild members from all over the world. And
yeah, man, it was crazy to get to meet everyone. Like literally just like a full circle type
moment that I was just like super proud of. And what flipped the switch, I guess, is probably
just like really taking the like community growing and,
um, the guild serious over the past year. So like, uh, as a guild,
we've had like an incredible amount of success where, um,
a lot of people kind of like turn their noses, which is within Axie. Um,
you know, ever since 2021, like, like we, so many people got started in Axie, uh, in this space.
And, you know, it's, it's just crazy how it's like the elephant in the room and everyone just kind of ignores it.
Whereas like in our case, uh, especially I feel like it's generally where most of our community comes from.

since 2021 for sure but it's really been like the game in the community that's held it down the most
for me um building our communities up over the past like year year and a half um and seeing like
the growth that we've had it's it's been insane um so like
if you guys don't know market the zeal is a uh crypto gaming guild where we mainly operate in
axie infinity homeland um we've got by far the best players in the game um we've had the best
players in the game for a very long time uh we have basically just built up from literally day zero in that game
so uh i don't know if a lot of you guys know this but whenever i got started in axi the hook for me
was literally just the land project like i always thought land and the idea of like what was spoken
about was really cool and so i was super interested from day one on that and yeah basically just from the
the alpha I started in the game I got connections with Flying Falcon and they had nine actually at
the time it was ten Genesis land plots and basically my entire goal was there was a leaderboard I wanted to go for number one and and going through I'll give you. G-host is with Al, bro. I know that voice.

I just recently got to go to the HQ, too.
I'll touch on that in a second, but I'll quickly finish my intro. So essentially, Mark of the Steelers just started within Homeland.
I started with the 10 Genesis land plots from Flying Falcon, wanted to go for number one on
the Homeland leaderboard. In that process, I met a bunch of grinders within the homeland and axie community and um we like actually just like
just started like a normal like discord like group we didn't even have like a server and that group
got to capacity like super quickly and so we had to make a server it had no name we just kind of
threw it together and we started playing and we were basically just sharing tips and everything trying to like push my account to get number one and like learn about the game and help each other out with
like resources and things like that and that's how the guild started and natural yeah like super
organic and then uh over time uh i just realized that there's a lot of land whales out there that
I just realized that there's a lot of land whales out there that weren't going to have time to play land.
And I knew like everyone in the community that was really good at the game at the time.
So I just recruited everyone that I could into the guild, went out and started messaging every single person that I knew and that had made connections with in Axie, trying to get them to delegate their land to us.
It worked out way better than I could have ever have hoped.
And then we just continued to grow with more members the more that we got more land.
And now we're at the point of we have over 3,000 land plots within Mark the Zeal.
We have over 900 Discord members with over like something like 90
different people with delegated assets to them. And, uh, just recently over the past two weeks,
we, uh, hit a crazy milestone, which is we were able to start our own Ronin network validator,
which has been a huge goal of mine for a really long time.
So overall, being able to throw a huge party and see everyone, meet everyone in person,
like IRL, that was a crazy milestone as well. And then immediately after getting to start our own Validator. And overall, it's just been a super crazy year for the Guild. And my goal,
and um overall it's just been like a super crazy year for the guild and my goal uh really over the
next couple of years is to just scale up mark of the zeal as much as i possibly can and make it
like something that is cemented within web3 gaming forever um yeah this has been like the most
fulfilling work that i've ever done out of everything like you can you can take away
content creation you can take away like the the gaming stuff that I do on the like FPS and and shooters like nothing
has been quite as fulfilling as starting this guild and growing it and getting to work with
my friends like like you like Jiho like Arctic like Al like so many people that are uh that
have been helping me out with this thing so overall it's just it's just been crazy man bro that shit is so fucking funny round of applause
let's go oh congratulations on being a validator bro it is like it is such a big step for the guild
and you know just hearing the story as well like the natural progression of of it
coming into existence like it just shows how hand in hand the the construct of a guild it goes with
gaming like and we're about to be on the verge of like a a larger push for for crypto gaming and
more games are going to come in more necessity for this type of construct guilds themselves.
It's just going to keep growing and growing and growing.
And you've kind of set and lay the foundations down where it started in one game.
Right. And it was it was organic because you guys were assisting.
There was a common goal. And that really supercharges, I think, the community aspect of things.
Like if you all understand what you are trying to achieve and you enjoy the process together,
like that's probably
why mark of the zeal performs so well in those early incubation phases and you guys performed
and also reap the rewards from that um yeah let's let's talk about yeah well i mean let me let me
chime in real quick speaking of rewards i don't think that there is a single place in web3 gaming where they provide the
amount of like rewards that axi infinity homeland has within like our guild like you want to talk
about reaping rewards these guys who have been grinding since like day one since the alpha
homeland uh they've completely changed their lives because of this game and like the work that they've put
in and it's like it's it's bigger than even like the 2021 scholarship like level of things like
our guild has been providing opportunities that are like actually insane that's crazy bro this is
the power though man this shows the power of the ip but axi is the next fucking axi bro anybody say it's different you're smoking spice or some crazy
stuff bro i don't know like the ax axs being in the reward system super charging a game like
like homeland and and then you get it like this is actually an interesting concept of how
it was it was kind of phased out like a lot of people stopped paying attention to to homeland
and land as an asset in in general for for a little while i remember we hosted a space we
spoke about it you know even ghost was in here we were we were getting word from the founder in terms
of like how things were going to change and people that stuck by the project from that point onwards
have seen the rewards and it's guys can
you can you yes what's good bro dude uh so i'm with jihos right now that's good and uh today
i went to the sky maybe's headquarters talk to me tell me about it bro tell me about it bro what's
it like dude sky movies headquarters is fucking awesome everyone
is so nice everyone is working their ass off everyone is so smart and let me tell you i saw
some of the most insane leaks in a while i'm jealous and you're talking about homelands and
all those things well dude they're cooking that's all i can say i really would i wish i could

And they're such smart and such cool people that I got to meet today.
And it was cool to bounce ideas and talk about the journey.

the the amount of uh support and love that they've been able to give and show since i've been in has

and Cairo they're building throughout the bear like they're literally looking for opportunities
uh when things weren't so obvious so uh yeah huge shout out to Cairo man he's a he's a
fucking beast um and yeah I'm proud of you bro I met Cairo at the YGG offset as well dude Cairo
is a fucking beast he is he deserves everything you
gotta keep keep running man you got it you got it let's go uh just to know caro sucks bro anyway yo
listen let's let's talk about let's talk about that the ygg because we just were all at the the
yps well not all of us but a lot of us are at the YPS
the the YGG play summit what an event that was obviously you've been working closely with YGG
over the course of this year so just a little little feedback on YGG as a team to work with
what they're about and then we'll get into convos about Mark of the Zill actually now being on
chain I saw some some announcements on that too so I'd like to dive into that convo yeah man so as far as working with yg over the
past year ever since i got brought onto the uh yg team and got a position there my perspective on
ygg has completely changed um you know we've all grown up around ygg if you got started in the
axi community but just don't really truly realize
like how much of a factor that they've played and like the growth of Web3 and what's been going on
within this team. And yeah, for the people that got the chance to go to the Play Summit and attend
the conference, I think it's safe to say that like that's the best Web3 gaming event that I've ever gone to.
It was all about the games.
It was huge.
There were so many people there.
So many people doing cosplays.
So many different creator challenges.
Just a really great coordinated effort to put on a show for Web3 Gaming.
Show off what's going on.
Show off the cool stuff that's being built there.
And yeah yeah working at
ygg has been amazing gabby is a genius owl is all if you guys don't know owl is also a founder dude
is also a genius um and the people on the ygg team that are like building the core of this thing i
truly believe are like pushing the needle forward within web three and um yeah it's just been really
inspiring as a guild owner myself uh to be able to work within the team and see how much that
they're doing um it just makes me want to like put even more effort into my own guild and grow
it into something that resembles even a little bit of what they've been able to accomplish
and yeah i mean i love working with YGG.
And I think that like, we've really gotten a good chance to connect YGG with more of
like the Western culture within Web3.
And I think going forward, the trajectory is moving in a much faster speed towards the
goals that we're trying to hit.
And I think you're going to see much more of YGG going forward.
And yeah, it's been great to work with them.
I think that the conference is really important.
And if you guys didn't get to go this year, make sure that you go next year
because I've been to every single Web3 event besides – there was one in Argentina. But I've been to every single Web3 event besides uh like argent there was one in argentina but i've
been to every single web three event over the past year and nothing compared not even close
yeah absolutely that was it was such a fucking good time and yeah i mean i've been so i've been
seeing some stuff um through the grapevine with ygg gabby really pushing the conversation right now
is and just to give you like an overview, I went onto the platform myself.
I purchased the pass to fulfill some of the quests.
The YGG token has existed for a while now.
You're now able to, well, you have been for a while,
been able to stake the YGG token.
And there's also multipliers, right?
So you're fulfilling tasks through the YGG platform.
You're staking the YGG token and acquiring YGG
token as a reward for doing these tasks right that's like the overview for an individual that's
going in into the platform yep exactly that's the you're explaining the gap program which is
the guild advancement program it's a core part of YGG and we're moving much more towards like guild type oriented quests and you
know so long YGG's been looked at as just like like the biggest guild that's in web3 well we're
really trying to change that narrative and YGG is no longer a guild we are the guild of guilds
so we're trying to be like a a platform for guilds to be a part of to grow find the tools that they need to scale and become like
what they want to be within the space and we have started a new thing called on-chain guilds
which is essentially a place where you can go as a guild leader sign up create your guild on ygg's
platform and then invite all of your guild members to join you and then within that
you guys as a guild can go and compete in quests and the more quests that you complete the bigger
part of the uh guild prize pool that you receive that uh guild prize pool will be sent to your
guild wallet which the guild leader can then go and distribute throughout your guild however they want to.
And in the future, you'll be able to have your managers or your admins give them those roles to help them manage it.
You can see your top performers within your guild and who's completing the most quests, who's doing the most work.
And I think it'll be a really important feature for not only just like traditional guilds going forward, but also just like communities,
whether you're a content creator and you have a huge community or whether you're like something like the WolvesDAO, which is they don't really look at themselves as a guild, but more of a
community, like every type of conglomerate within crypto crypto gaming you are going to want to be a part of on
chain guilds and like right now the price pools are crazy like we've got over a hundred thousand
dollars in ygg token uh that's being given out for that right now and like that's an insane prize
pool for just bro you're tempting me bro you're tempting because even even like a an entity like
ronin radio you know we could we
could have an on-chain guild and really kind of push those types of things we actually should
you know we'll talk we'll talk after this that might just be the fucking move this week ladies
and gentlemen but um so for you guys obviously being an on-chain guild now um there's a few
questions that are coming in people are saying um things along the line of um
i'll pull a question right here what um oh wow people want return on investment ideas from
from land plot shout out to you david but it's not the one uh wait i want to talk about that for a
second uh okay i'll quickly speak on homeland stuff just because so homeland has been basically development has been stopped
uh in place for the new axie mmo that is upcoming um this is straight from tron so it's not like
i'm leaking or anything here uh but i will say even with development stopped uh we have a tracker
within our guild that shows aprs and apys for homeland and right now there is some homeland
plots in axi that have up to an 80 apy and if you go and look at axs staking axs staking is
like 32 33 yeah so over double what axs staking is uh for for hold holding land right now and playing land
so it's not a not a crazy thing to say uh that like buying land is like not financial advice but
buying land isn't like like just not a crazy thing right now because of those numbers like
you're earning a pretty like almost within one year getting an roi on your on your
land which is insane yeah land plots what floor now is about four hundred dollars i mean in eath
we're talking yeah you should probably go for as if you're gonna buy something go for at least a
forest but yeah the the the floor is pretty cheap for how crazy the apr and apy is yeah fire well

know al was just up here and he's not anymore but he's involved in a lot of the development behind
ygg i'm not going to say he designed the website but in terms of getting these you know pulling
this data to be able to see that as a guild manager,

Obviously, YGG has grown so much. And I was really impressed when I went onto the platform itself.
And I think now is a time to get involved.

you guys have such serious motion um what's the plans i know wait let's talk about this actually
the community collection um project you guys made it into the first round um what let's give us give us the
alphas on that i'm sure there was a white paper and i'm sure everybody in web3 has not read it
yeah um so this is something that is also inspired by ygg um ygg has a thing called the Founders Coin. And that Founders Coin was an integral part of
the core community of YGG from the early days till now. And essentially, it's just for YGG,
it's been this thing where you own a Founders Coin, and you are able to get into a group of
people that own the Founders Coin. And within that group, there are things that are given out,
like token allocation, whitelists for projects that YGG works with,
special opportunities, like job hires,
anything you can think of that being like an Inner Circle member
would benefit from.
And with the Market of the Zeal Founders Coin, we want to
create something similar to that that is a little bit more accessible. So we will have
a wider supply than YGG's Founders Coins did. And we're going to try to keep it pretty low cost.
You know, the community collections are still very much in the process of being
worked on right now. We're hoping to release before the new year. Things are being worked
on every day. But yeah, as far as leaks go, we're going to have three different tiers
of our Founders Coin. And each of those tiers is going to give you different types of benefits
within Market of the Zeal.
And basically, it's just supposed to be your pledge of belief in the guild from an early standpoint.
And within that, we're going to be giving away lots of things.
So I personally, as a content creator, work with a lot of different games.
with a lot of different games.
So we're going to be giving away a lot of whitelists there.
We try to give white glove asset delegation within the Ronin network.
So just giving the best asset delegation that you can find
at the best rates within Ronin.
And we've seen improvement in that with Home End.
It will have priority access to any new delegated assets that the guild gets.
So like if we get some crazy assets delegated to the guild, people with founders coin, um,
will be the first people that we hit up.
Uh, it'll have exclusive access to events.
So you'll be guaranteed to get to like any more of the parties that we host, uh, IRL
or online.
Um, we'll have like our own tournaments that we'll be hosting online
as well that people will be able to get into with Founders Coins. Other than that, man,
you can think of like weekly drawings, exclusive channels to chat in, voting rights for things
that go forward within the guild that we allow holders to vote on. Tools, we're going to
have a, we're're gonna be hiring a
dev on the mark of the zeal team ever since we got the validator we're going to be able to have
the funding to bring on some more people to the team so we're gonna bring oh you absolutely need
to do that bro because i've realized where we're going into the into the realm of like
dev capabilities are almost going to be a necessity for for any organization i think
to scale having a having a dev to i mean you can see it with a lot of like moku and like what
they're building having devs on your team to be able to build things around your community is
really huge so that's one thing that i'm a base dev now you know that yeah i do know that
let's fucking go but we should make ego um an agent as well bro let's fucking do it's been
suggested um i've thought about it i think i'll continue to watch things and see how they grow
and if it it gets a little bit more solidified then we'll definitely think about it but

we're in the second round we had hey bro i i will say this we had to
do a we had to do a crazy push in the last day um because we were behind oh people turned on the
jets bro yeah we were we were behind and i didn't realize how behind we were because i was doing so
much of the traveling stuff and then i had to like do a crazy push within MOTS to get everyone to go vote.

you have like a little bit of an early access benefit there.

we're going to definitely try to host shots of plucky g host as well we're gonna definitely try
to host more of those events at like every event that we can and hopefully man just like continue
to build the culture and contribute to the the ronin ecosystem i mean it's given us so much so we

quickly speak on this as well sorry um i just want to go over we have a reward system that we're doing
right now we're uh in usd value at the time of making it we are
giving out over ten thousand dollars if we hit all of our milestones so it's uh the milestones
are obviously pretty hefty but basically the way we designed it is every 500k ron staked we add
more prizes to the pool and that can equal up to a total of ten thousand dollars if we get to like
i think it's like four million r staked. We're at 1.4
something last I checked are, uh, I think we would be higher, but I made a, uh, to be totally
transparent, making a validator was fucking confusing, but as we were figuring it out, um,
we realized that we were modeling our commission rate after what governing validators were doing.
So governing validators are all running at 20% commission, or at least most of them are.
And that's because they get chosen for blocks in every single chance.
Oh, all the time, priority thing as well?
Yes, the priority.
And so we made a mistake and thought that we were going to have a similar APR if we had a similar commission rate. And as a non-governing
validator, our APR is lower if we have a higher commission. So what we did was we signed a
transaction two days ago to change the commission rate from 20% down to 10%, and that will change
our APR to be closer to the 12% of other validators. So now staking with us, you won't lose out on any of the rewards that
you would have previously. And with the milestones that we have, every 500k RON that is delegated to
us, we add more, whether it's liquid RON or assets and prizes to the pool. And after, i believe it is like february like the first week of february um we are going to
take snapshots and we have a ticket multiplier system if you stake with us early uh but
essentially yeah like i said giving out over ten thousand dollars at the time of posting the reward
system you can go check out all that stuff on the mark of the zeal twitter um but right now we're
about to hit the second milestone
which will be after we hit that we'll have like 750 plus ron in the pool plus some founders coins
and some other prizes and that grows for every 500k that we get staked further and yeah man
the prizes the prizes are good so get in there stake with us. We really, really appreciate it. We're going to be using all of our rewards from the Mark of the Zeal side to just scale the guild, give back to the community.

that gets you token allocation yes early token allocation before tge that's that's that's a very
interesting strategy it is it is and and the thing is the the pilots were actually the the smallest
supply right there there was out of all of the assets in kyedro pilots were the most scarce i
believe they started at 3 000 uh you know right now there are 1097 so that's a lot of pilots being
burnt the scarcity of them is growing the value of the actual uh higher level ones and the ones that, you know, owners are atoning as
valuable to them are growing in value with this process. And then you have the Alpha KDR TGE,

And, you know, getting over those hurdles to, like, get adoption, get revenue,

But I do think that the game is fun.
I think that a lot of people would be more familiar with a game like shatterline than something like off the grid uh just because
shatterline's a lot more like call of duty uh which more people have played games like that
it's a lot more like call of duty like valorant like cs go so like you hop in you're familiar
with the game you're going to understand what's going on i think it's definitely worth like having
a game night with your community on uh and just seeing for yourself i think it's it's pretty fun uh i just like i said i think it's got a lot of
hurdles to jump over but any fps or shooter game is going to have a lot to be successful
