They say, oh my God, I see the way you shine
Take your hand, my dear, and place them both in mine
You know you stopped me dead while I was passing by
And now I beg to see you dance just one more time.
Ooh, I see you, see you, see you every time.
And on my eyes, eyes, eyes, I like your style.
Ooh, you make me, make me, make me wanna cry.
And now I beg to see you dance just one more night
So they say, dance for me, dance for me, dance for me, oh
I never seen anybody do the things you do before
They say, move for me, move for me, move for me, eh
And when you're done, I'll make you do vital again
I said, oh my God, I see you walking by
Take my hands, my teeth, and look me in my eyes
Just like a monkey, I've been dancing my whole life
But you just beg to see me dance just one more time
Ooh, I see you, see you, see you every time
And through my eyes, I, I, I like your style
Ooh, you make me, make me, make me wanna cry
And now I beg to see you dance just one more time
So they say, dance for me, dance for me, dance for me, oh
I've never seen anybody do the things you do before
They say, move for me, move for me, move for me, hey
And when you're done, I'm back to do it again
They say dance for me, dance for me, dance for me

CMGM everybody what a beautiful day what a beautiful time to be here on spaces we have
amazing lineup today it's gonna be crazy music art defy on ape chain baby let's go and i just
want to say one more thing guys before i say hi to tino like it is pumping i love to see that you
know we saw all those bullish news today on the timeline it's great uh i talked to many of my
friends like we've been through the
we've been through such a shit you know eat being like 1500 or something like that and now it looks
really promising so yeah uh dc investor actually tweeted final warning you need eat you know and
byc is on eat so let's fucking go other side is also on eat but uh you know ape chain on top too tino how you doing man what's
good with you bro oh gm gm i'm doing really good beautiful day here in prague today and uh yeah
i've been uh having a third or fourth day without coffee and i'm getting much better bro i'm uh
really grateful we've got a grateful show because I can get some
of your energy now and bring it to our guests as well. And yeah, I'm excited, man. It's
a lot of stuff happening, a lot of bullish news. I think everybody thinks that, you know,
after summer, when everybody comes back fully, I think it's going to be a very interesting
end of the year. At least I hope so how about you
Man, I'm doing great. I'm dead after basketball game yesterday and
I actually did it probably one of the best tweets
this week I tweeted I can't wait to see ape coin all-time high again and
It's gonna happen guys. We have to believe in something
But on serious note like it's serious
but on serious note i love to see all the people being in bubbles all the people playing uh
bathroom blitz we also have you know tournament uh sponsored by opensea which is really really
cool and uh man i really i i really would love to mention your tweet and your newsletter about momentum,
how momentum is important, and now
you see, right, like, since the other site
launched, we have bathroom blitz, we
have bubbles, and more stuff is coming
in August, which is awesome,
right, and you see already
first 3D avatars
in other sites, other than
BYC and Kodas, right,
the Gs, they are amazing.
So I love it, man.
Do you have the tweet ready? Did you tweet it at
so you can pin it up or you want to...
Just on that note,
they look so good. Gs
look so good. And on
that note now, before I
talk about the newsletter and the momentum.
Last time,
because usually after the Grateful show, we have a call
with Grateful and just have a little chat about the show and stuff like that.
And every once in a while, my son joins and wants to say GM to him.
And last time, Grateful told him like,
oh, daddy should give you the G's because they look good on the other side.
And he's six.
He ever sees he's like asking about the so which G's do you have?
And today we decided or we agreed that one of the G's is gonna be his.
He already has a name for him and he has some plans.
Because he keeps drawing stuff that he wants to have on the other side.
Mainly for me he's like oh this house with, this house with a tub for ice water is for you and for Infy.
And that's very funny.
But it's cool to see also the kids and mainly the older kids of other and not only apes and other dgens playing on the other side and shooting like crazy and winning for their parents.
And I think this is very good and very bullish sign, at least from my point of view.
So Martin has a G now and we're going to do something with it for sure.
That's awesome, man. I love that. You can set up Glyph wallet for him, right?
So he can have an 8 coin wallet. It's super easy.
And I'd love to see that, man. Maybe he can join a eight coin wallet it's super easy and uh i love to see that man like
maybe he can join us in the bubble sometime yeah he actually asked me like so where is it saved
is it mine now really like yeah no i'm grateful right click save that umfr it's mine now
exactly yeah man that's amazing and i I think this is going to happen, right,
with the characters that kids will start playing those games.
And that's really bullish.
About talking to...
Yeah, go ahead.
I'm sorry, just one thing.
I think the most important thing will be how broad it will get, you know?
Because right now, obviously, we're just starting and you have
bathroom blades or you have bubbles and you just walk around. And the more stuff comes, as we keep
talking, saying, the more developers, the more cool people, the more cool brands come on board.
I think that's somebody finds, needs to find, be able to find something there. So whether you love art, whether you love shooting,
whether you love any kind of experience,
your concerts or whatever,
I think this is the main alpha and the point for success.
And I think the Gargay and the team know that for sure.
And I really hope they will be able to attract
some really amazing people and subjects sure. And I really hope they will be able to attract some really
amazing people and subjects there and let us build. And as you could see, the AI toolkit,
the builder, I'm already excited to play with it. This is going to be so fun because
you don't have the technical kind of barrier. Anything that comes to your mind, you just,
there is no physics, nothing.
So we'll be able to have a lot of fun and our fantasy will have a lot of fun.
Oh, 100%, man, 100%.
I cannot wait for more, but I'm really happy with Bathroom Blitz and everything that's happening right now.
One more thing about Other Side and then we say hi to our guests here on stage
and we're going to get into the first topic because it's really
dope, it's really dope
One more thing, Garga
in Discord mentioned
that Mutant 3D models are
in the pipeline and they are
working on them, that it's
really tough to actually
create a cool
Mutants, so they are, I think they are
working on the Redoast models.
So I love to see that. I can't wait to see
you guys there. Having your own
3D avatar, it's always better, right?
Bro, 100%.
It's really funny, but
even though
I don't know how to say
it in a nice way, but
I just cannot go to the other
side without my mutant I don't
want to be a Murtis you know I don't want to buy Ape bro like buy Ape like it's so easy it's easy
fixed like man like you go you go Magic Eden open so you just press buy and you have 3D avatar bro
like you're a rich MF-er yeah right bro I have four!
Of course you do!
And Koda, right? So it's for every workday. I have one avatar, bro. Like, you know? So are you playing with Koda right now? Because they told you that it's Alpha.
Yeah, I do. Bro, the Alpha was being like Spider-Man in Bathroom Blitz, but man, that Dino MF-er, man man he killed me like 150 million times already uh yes spike man
i'm happy that dino is is joining the the competition because he's the best so yeah man
uh it's i love it man i'm not gonna lie i love the game it's so much fun and uh there should be
some upgrade today i think uh so incredible man i'm really really hyped and it's so good to see all of you here guys in the audience and on stage, such a legend.
So Gino, we finally here man, we finally here where we always wanted to be man and it's just the beginning.
The bubbles are here, the bubbles are here and also you feel like this is just the beginning. And what I wanted to say is it's very cool to see that so many of the apes that were not that active lately, within a year or two,
they are now back and playing and enjoying it.
Because as I said before, everybody needs to find their own thing there on the other side.
And I think that's the key.
Yep, that's the way, man.
Let's circle around and say hi to legends here and then we get into the
first topic today because kaboom boxes man i love it i mint it can't wait to learn more what's going
on i also pinned the tweet so you can you can check it out already if you swipe to right but
let's start with the um i don't want to say best singer right now because that's that's a thin ice
with uh with adre denoid here on stage but one of the best singers probably say best singer right now because that's a thin ice with Adre Denoid here on stage.
But one of the best singers probably in the club right now is Makavelli for sure.
So Makavelli, welcome here.
How you doing?
What's going on, man?
Hey, GM, GM, The Grateful Show.
Thank you so much.
Grateful for the compliment.
I really, really appreciate that, man.
And listen, you know, the other side is an amazing thing.
You know what I'm saying? Like you used to try to onboard people to crypto and they would
look at you crazy and it was a difficult conversation to uh to have and now you just
got to get them to get a glyph and come on into the other side and they're on ape chain baby
and all those micro transactions and everything like that is is powered by ape chain and to me
this is probably going to be the easiest onboarding
tool that we've ever seen and this is the worst it's ever going to be and you know um the other
side also has uh the other games you know what i'm saying you can find the link to that page on
my profile we'd love for you guys to follow it we have a games coming up on saturday at 3 p.m est
and at noon on sunday for the tournament of g's So if your little man holds a G's in his wallet and you do too, Tino,
we would love to have you guys out on Sunday at noon Eastern to participate in
the games where we'll be making somebody a landowner and giving out all types of
eight coin and NFT prizes from the game.
So we are super excited about that.
Special shout out to the community, man, and all all these people showing up and you know what I'm saying
We love the participation and you know, that's our goal right now is you know onboarding the world onto the other side
My man, so hey, thank you for letting me speak
Thank you for having me up and you know
Drake might be able to sing a little better than me, but he can't hit those Celine Dion notes like me
Man, I'll be playing hundred percent. I'm ready. Can you give us just
you know something today some maybe you have new song I don't know man we need it we need it we need Let me and
Man this was one of the best things I heard
This week or I listened to this week. So, man, you made my day better.
I love it.
Thank you so much, Makavele.
Join and check other games, guys.
It's really great that community is building experiences.
That's what other side is about, right?
So, love you, man.
Definitely, if you have time and you stick around, we can get also about two other games and chat about it.
I know you've been cooking a lot.
So yeah, let's say hi to Simple Farmer BBA,
and then we get into the couple boxes.
And I have then, before that, I have also one more thing to say,
because I already prepared the speech after I win the other game.
So yeah, but Simple Farmer, welcome here.
How you doing, man?
Maybe Simple Farmer can talk. Yeah, what's up, man? How you doing, man? Maybe Simple Farmer.
Kentok, yeah. What's up, man? How you doing, bro?
I'm here, guys. Hey, GM, GM. I'm good.
I was still recovering from Machiavelli's performance there.
Just getting off the ground because I was so amazed.
It's incredible, man. It's incredible.
I almost cried, man. So, yeah, so emotionally.
So how you doing?
I'm good, man. My loneliness is not killing me uh doing
doing super well really glad to be part of the team at ape chain leading defy and ape coin utility
uh been hard at work since last monday got a lot of cool things lined up excited to share what i
can here on the show and some of the early developments and uh yeah thank you so much
for having me on here, man.
As, as, as always, it's, it's interesting.
Cause this is the first place when I came through as a founder of clutch that I
actually was talking about clutch puppies, minting and Machiavelli actually came
through during your space and was like, why, why should we mint this?
And then we ended up becoming like really close friends actually.
So yeah, shout out to Machiavelli hype,, Honey Bee, and G-Spot, of course.
Can't forget the G-Spot, man.
I have a hard time remembering the G-Spot sometimes.
So shout out to them for creating such an organic, awesome activation with the other side.
And Dre the Noid, shout out to you too, man.
I've got a lot of those boomboxes in my wallet.
Yeah, man. And I found out about those in spaces too, so spaces are connecting
apes, bubbles will be connecting
apes too, and other side too
so I love this
that's an amazing aspect of
you know, social audio
BBA, welcome here guys
how you doing today?
Hey, hey, good morning morning Grateful Ape morning Tino, morning Mike Covelli with his
beautiful voice, morning SimpleFarmer, how are we doing today guys?
It's really nice to be up here, really glad to have the space to talk about a little of
our projects, it's gonna be awesome, immaculate vibes up here.
Let's go, absolutely love that, can't wait. Guys, you see
the lineup is so packed, retweet the space if you have any questions, drop them into the comments.
Especially, you know, you see Simple Farmer, you can ask when all-time high because it's in his
hands guys right now, you know he's a defy wizard I would call it. So it's going to be a lot of fun.
But yeah, on serious nose, guys.
Absolutely love it.
Can't wait.
And yeah, I have one more thing.
And that's for Makavele.
Makavele, I already have a speech here for winning the other games tomorrow.
So on Saturday, sorry.
So here it is.
Yeah, you heard it probably before
I just want to say one thing
to my wife
I just want to say one thing
to my wife
hell yeah it's gotta be wild
but it's time to say hi
to Dre the Noid here on stage.
What's up, man?
What's good?
What's up, Tino?
What's up, Grateful Show?
It's good to be here.
And before I start, it's not even comparison.
Machiavelli, best voice in Web3, best voice on Ape Chain.
I can't hit a note anywhere near this, man.
And I gotta say shout out to Simple Farmer as well as well man congratulations on the new spot with yuga that's clutch no pun
intended um great lineup today man i'm glad to be here love your space um it's good to be here with
you guys it's so great to see man as i mentioned i minted uh i minted your nft just because i heard it in spaces i think also
with macaveli right and that's the power of spaces that that's the power of bubbles that it
brings brings us together you can share your vision you can share what you do and and we can
support you right so absolutely love it absolutely love to have you here man and i can't wait to
learn more about
what you've been cooking because to be honest i did zero research i heard you in the spaces i would
like i was like hell yeah let's go i minted i think like five five of them i have them in my
wallet and i can't wait to learn more what what actually to do with them right i i pin up the
tweet uh that this isn't spotify this isn't Apple Music, this is the Kaboom player
the first true Ape Chain
music at FC, let's
fucking go, so man
can you give us a little short intro about
how did you end up in this space
what you've been doing
and why people should ape in
yeah man, thanks for the intro
you know, this concept started
a while back before I
migrated to Ape Chain. And shout out to Machiavelli again. He was an integral part to getting
me noticed to this chain and the power of what was going to be happening over here and
had the foresight to see what it was. So conversating with him and just motivating
me to just come over here and actually bring it to life. I had this concept a while back
before I migrated to this chain. And my biggest
goal was as an indie musician, I've been making music since I was in high school and I'm not on
a record label. I don't have a publishing deal. I've done everything independent. So as an
independent artist, you're always trying to find a way to find your core audience find those 500 fans thousand fans and um i've been
in web3 since 2001 and i've seen music nfts rise and you know with the bull run and you've seen a
lot of people try to do it special ways you know nfts with metadata all that stuff um my biggest
goal was is that i always knew that i wanted to do something with web3 streaming and um you know
as a musician you always release music on Apple Music and Spotify.
That's the way to go, or YouTube, and you drop videos.
Everybody does the same model, right?
A lot of musicians aren't over here in Web3.
We have a select few. We're a niche, I guess you can say.
My main thing was, how can I make this fun?
How can I make it innovating?
And also, how can I get people to access my music in in a cool way I always knew I wanted to token gate something I was always fascinated with
token gating and and knowing that okay if somebody collects something of yours and you give them a key
to your music then they can unlock it and they can have it as their own and they can collect it
so when I migrated over here to Ape Chain I've had this concept for Kaboom players probably for like
excuse me Kaboom boxes for probably like maybe like two years now I met an artist named Zinchi he's a young man from from Mumbai India and we met another community back in the East days and he showed me the Kaboom box for the first time back then and you know when you you know you see something and you know it just hits you and you know it's gonna be something something that it just gravitated towards me.
It resonated, and I really wanted to utilize this.
I was like, look, this is the vessel for the music.
I don't know how we're going to build this, but we're going to build it,
and we're going to put music through this piece of art that you created.
So then fast forward, I migrate over to Ape Chain.
I see all my homies over here, and you have all your friends from the Yuga ecosystem and
everybody you've met along the way that I've been grateful enough to have friendships with and
people who know who I am in the space. So then I just started organically coming to spaces and I
wanted to make sure that I played my part as far as learning about the chain. I jumped in. I didn't
have any idea what it was at first. You see people minting NFTs
and you see everything that's going on. And my biggest thing is I want to integrate myself the
correct way. I didn't want to just jump right in and just throw a project out there and just act
like I was just trying to come in for, you know, the wrong intentions. I wanted to build and make
sure people knew I was here for the long haul. So when I finally, finally got with my dev, we were
already working on it. I go, okay, we're going to go with Ape Chain. And we had everything laid out. We had
the website. I built it for seven months with my dev. Shout out to Cube, a homie I met from New
Zealand online, and he built an amazing interface for us. We were ready to deploy. And then I was
asking myself, okay, even though people find me credible and people find me and they trust me in the space, I always knew that there was a little part of people who maybe not want to click on a third-party website and maybe trust issues and stuff.
And I figured, you know what?
We got to partner with a third party that can launch this for us and do it correctly so people feel safe minting.
And I got with the Blevver team.
Shout out to the Blevver team.
They were great. They looked at with the Blevver team. Shout out to the Blevver team. They were great.
They, you know, they looked at the project.
They loved it.
I told them what I wanted to do.
I think it was the first time we've done that
using a hybrid mint.
I didn't want to scrap my website.
I knew exactly what I wanted to do,
but I wanted to use Blevver as a launch pad.
So I pitched the idea to their team.
They loved it.
And yeah, we minted last Saturday.
And when you mint a project, you don't know how it's going to go.
It's nervous and you don't know if people are going to support it, even though you get a lot of support from people.
And yeah, when we hit go on that mint button, I think I minted out in two hours.
So I was overwhelmed and I was grateful that people were ready to hear music and ready to, you know,
finally own a Kaboom for themselves. So, you know, once we did that, the cool thing about us is that we are the first true music PFP on Ape Chain. And I think we can say that definitively because
when you mint a Kaboom box, you also have metadata on Chain, which would give you a little snippet
of each song and you get a cool Kaboom that, you know, you can hear the music at first.
But the whole goal is to migrate holders over to our website.
It's cool because we created exactly the concept that I wanted to do back in the day as far as token gating a Web3 streaming immersive, you know, platform where you can go and you can listen to music on your leisure and
it's tied behind a token gate. So yeah, man, what we did was is that, you know, if you own a Kaboom,
all you have to do is go to kaboomboxes.com, connect your wallet, it's seamless, and you get
to listen to the whole album. And I was really, really blown away by people enjoying the process,
it was clean for them, They had a good experience.
And yeah, music won on Ape Chain.
Like I said, I know that.
I hope that now going forward, I'm able to, you know, inspire musicians on this chain,
not only on Ape Chain, but just in general to think outside the box.
I've had a lot of musicians hit me up and say, yo, that was a cool idea.
I'm tired of dropping on Spotify and Apple, and I'm over here in Web3,
and I want to find a cool way to do a music NFT.
So yeah, man, that's kind of like the pitch of Kaboomboxes and how we ended up here.
And I feel like with the music
and then what we brought from the historical value
with the artists that we have on the project,
it just sets us apart from everything else out there
that will come.
And like I said, music NFTs in general are definitely winning.
And Ape Chain is the place to be, I feel, as far as going in the future for music and MTs and MTs in general.
Man, I'm on the side right now. I connected my wallet. It's great. There are 13 songs, guys.
I want to add one more thing about Web3 Music. I think for the other side, I am 100% sure that there's going to be something like plugin
or something that you will be able to play music during spaces or just as a vibe, right?
Because if you play, for example, Zelda or any other game,
the music is a very important part of the experience.
So I can imagine having something like, hey, you own Web3 Music can you can plug it in and you can play it in the other side or you can go and
jam with your friends right like you can go to clubhouse and play the album there which would
be really cool I'll play guys I play like 20 seconds of the west coast party song because
I just played it and it's really dope song you know
I loved it.
Thank you for joining us tonight.
We appreciate it, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Astoria Bonus Track.
Damn, I love this man. Like we are always clipping our hands in the show, right? You know, with a public enemy.
So we can be clapping with you, bro.
Yeah, man. I think there's a little bit of everything for everybody on the album.
I'm glad you like that song. One of my favorite songs on the album. When we put together the album, the coolest thing about it was that we're not just stuck in one genre. I know everybody listens to every type of music and there's different vibes for each day.
That was our GM song.
You know, we wanted to make sure we had something you wake up to, get your coffee, get your day going.
We have songs that are motivating.
And the one thing about our music is, is that we make real life music.
My favorite song on the album, and I think what people love collecting as well, is that we brought our unreleased track with Kendrick Lamar on there.
And if you don't know who Kendrick Lamar is, then obviously you're under a rock.
So we were fortunate enough to cross paths with one of the most generational artists in music history.
We have a track that is ours and it's yours now as a Kaboom Box holder.
And I feel like if you listen to that song, there's hype songs.
There's that song you just played that, you know, you get pumped up in the morning.
But the one thing I love about Too Strong featuring Kendrick Lamar is because I don't really tell this a lot, but I come from meager beginnings. I didn't grow up rich.
I didn't grow up in an affluent environment, a silver spoon, I guess you can say. And I come
from a place where you really have to hustle to figure out what you're going to do with life.
And I was grateful enough to discover music or music discovered me. It's a
God-given talent that I'm grateful for. It's taken me to a lot of places that I never would
imagine I would have been to coming from a town of 19,000 people in a small little town in California
and being able to do what I did just with that ability is amazing. So if you listen to that song,
it's about hard times. It's about overcoming, it's about never giving up.
And Kendrick's verse is just amazing.
He basically talks the same thing and we both come from the same kind of situation with him coming from Compton and him going through a situation as well.
So I'm proud that we get to put him on the album.
I think collectors will love that, they'll love the message.
that. They'll love the message. And also too, we have Mac Miller on there. I mean, two generational
And also, too, we have Mac Miller on there.
artists, rest in peace, Malcolm, to be able to have two people on there that you listen to our
music, but you also have an historical legacy value as far as from a collector standpoint. So
I'm super proud of that, that we were able to bring that to Ape Chain. And like I said,
Kaboom Boxes is here to stay. We're definitely going to keep innovating. We have some stuff down the pipeline,
and I'm looking forward to, you know,
holders getting their value.
New songs added every two weeks.
Oh, really?
So you'll be adding songs to the playlist or to the album?
Yeah, so every two weeks,
I don't want to give too much away,
but obviously there's going to be a phase two because we're going to drop another album and another collection.
That's a little alpha for today.
We will have more albums.
It'll be a discography for you, but until we drop the next phase and the next collection and the next album for holders, you'll be getting a new song every two weeks.
So every two weeks, there's going to be a new song.
We just did a collaboration, so I'll drop it here right now,
just since we're on the space, and I love your space.
We did a collaboration with the Monos founder.
Shout out to Steadfast and Capo.
They just sold out.
He's a musician as well.
We got a track called The Sky coming,
and I believe that's going to be our first new song.
So we're going to cross-collaborate with the Monos community
and Kaboom and Monos and drop a track with their founder and put it on the album.
So yeah, you'll be able to go on there every two weeks and get a new song.
That's the cool thing about a music NFT, the way we created it.
Man, I absolutely love it.
I think you guys, you should talk to, and you probably did already, you should talk to other side team and really think about some you know like concert or
something like that because i i believe that they also need some experiences there for us and
that would be cool i'll quickly play just a short part of two strong guys so you can see what you
can get and if you want to if you want to listen to it just uh check the pin tweet and then tino
i saw you unmuted so then then your turn bro but let But let's play it. It's a really dope song.
The vibe is great. I could have broke down and lost my mind, but I'm too strong.
I remember being young, growing up, we didn't have much.
Going to school with no money, eating bad lunch.
Speaking of food inside my cupboards, it was sad, but knowing inside my mother never would have...
Damn, this is really, really good, man.
I loved it.
I loved it.
I listened to the whole album today.
Can't wait.
But you know, I saw it. I listened to the whole album today, can't wait. But you know, I said unmuted, go ahead man.
I just want to say it's super innovative that you actually be adding to the album.
I don't think I've heard that before, I think that's very very cool.
And me as a huge huge Kendrick Lamar fan and also a Mac Miller fan which is also funny. One of his songs, Surf, is my kind of creating song that I play on repeat always, every once in a while.
And so what interests me is how does this kind of collab come through or becomes reality?
It's a cool story man, I'll keep it short because I know
I'm long-winded and you guys have speakers on the space but the way we met these two artists is you
know timing right place right time like I said being an independent artist you know we got lucky
and we live three hours away from LA from where I'm from in California so we were going out there
and it was called the circuit I guess you can say.
And you start doing shows, opening up for big artists.
Some of our first biggest shows were like opening up for DJ Quick, just big West Coast artists.
And I remember we did a show at DJ Quick.
It was called The Key Club and it's now called One Oak.
And we did a show there and there was a bunch of people there paul wall
faith evans dj quick and we were opening up and we actually went on later and there was a group
out there called tde i didn't know who they were like i had no idea at the time they were unknown
and um my photographer was telling me yo that that guy right there i've heard his album and he
was on stage rapping and i was watching him and it's kendrick lamar didn't even know who he was you know this is before he was even who he was so um after this show we were
going on after them and we we met backstage and i walked up to him and i says hey man like you know
you're phenomenal like you're you're dope and we just had an organic meeting you know backstage in
the green room and we we shot uh numbers and you know we went to did one more show with them on
the next stop and uh on that one we actually told told him like, yo, we have this track. We want to work
on it with you. And, you know, he was like, let's go. We sent it to him. His team loved it. He ended
up doing the verse for us. And we held onto that for this long amount of time. And we never sold
it for publishing. We never sold it for anything. and I'm so glad that we did because music ownership was great for me and being
able to bring it to you guys but yeah we met Kendrick totally just great timing
with Mac it was a little bit cooler of a story the way we met Mac was is that and
this is way way long time ago this is this is my space you know I'm saying like
we were just getting going as early early musicians um i saw a video called
live free um if you guys want to look it up on youtube that kind of changed my whole perspective
on music because coming from the west coast you know you just listen to dre you listen to snoop
you listen to what you're influenced by um i saw this kid man he he resembled me you know he looked
like me and he looked exactly like i was doing and i saw this video called live free that uh
mac miller shot before he got signed to rostrum. He was still in high school. It's a video where him and his
friends are taking the train from Pittsburgh to New York. And it's just him and his friends
spending one day in New York having fun. And after I saw that video, I had to find a way to
meet this guy. I figured out a way, but we know we're on a different coast. So I found his manager,
Quinton Cuff, on MySpace. And I shot him an email, cold email, and said, hey, man, I just saw Live Free.
I love this artist. I think he's going to be generational. And this is before kids. This
is before the record deal, Rostrum, all that. And he hit me back. And he was like, yo, we've
actually seen your guys' music. We love it. And I was like, wow, that was kind of overwhelming.
So two independent artists. We had a debut project coming out, and we had a couple
of beats from Cardo. And at the time, Cardo was on. If you don't know who he is, he's produced
everything for Drake and Kendrick and everybody. Cardo is one of the biggest producers in the world
now. But we had four beats from him. One of them was Weed and Rhymin', and we were making a song
basically about smoking some weed for the day and writing some rhymes. I sent beats from him. One of them was Weed and Rhymin' and we were making a song basically about, you know, smoking some weed for the day and writing some rhymes, you know.
I sent it to him.
We did everything over the internet.
He listened to it.
He loved it.
Cool little feature is that he actually signed the fax.
And I remember we paid him his feature fee and he signed the fax and faxed me over, you know.
So it was really cool to like have Mac Miller sign his autograph
and send that over to us.
So it was cool.
We caught him before the wave.
We recorded the track.
Again, we own that track.
We never dropped it on DSPs.
I just knew there was something with it that I can do.
And fast forward, maybe like six months later,
Kidd's drops out, you know, he goes worldwide.
Everything starts blowing up.
And he ends up coming to California.
They hit us up and they says,
yo, Mac's coming to do his first show in California
in San Diego at the Epicenter,
which is my cousin's from San Diego.
We want you to play with us, just you guys and Mac.
We got to play Mac's first show ever in California
on the kids tour.
That's when we met him.
We got to just chill and kick it
and talk about that whole experience. We did the the troubadour with him the next show in
hollywood and then he was on his way and we were on our way so yeah to answer your question man
just i was in the right place at the right time um they liked our music it was organic and um
again i i never sold those tracks i held them and i held them all the way until this point
and this is the first time that i was able to release them and give them,
to our holders.
And I'm really,
really thankful for that because I know a lot of musicians sell their music
and they get a check and they never own their music anymore.
they sell their masters away.
So I own my masters,
I own my music,
all my catalog and,
and the catalog I'm giving it to you guys.
that was the,
that was the story of how I met Kendrick
and how I met Mac Miller.
I have goosebumps all the time
because I'm one of the few in the audience
that remembers the MySpace times.
And it was pretty funny because at that time
I was actually doing music myself.
And thanks to MySpace, because we had quite some fan base.
I think it was showing like the monthly,
not listeners, what is it, monthly fans or something,
and the number of plays.
And we were able to approach like world-class producers
as well because otherwise nobody would care about
like rappers from Slovakia or something like that.
But thanks to the numbers we had, I don't know 30 40 000 people there the fans and and uh they were able they were talking
to you because uh because you actually had those numbers so uh the myspace times were really really
crazy because you could really approach uh huge names because everybody was actually uh the admin
of their own page back then so they so the the big So the big names were actually there and doing that.
So that's amazing.
And I really love that you never really released it
and waited for the right moment.
And so what makes this the right moment?
And what's the next plan to spread it outside of the Web3, so to say?
Well, the next thing I want to do is, like I said,
I want to keep giving music back
and I want to keep releasing music on here.
I, again, I don't, I'm not in the type of crowd
that thinks that like Web3 music
is going to eliminate Apple Music and Spotify.
I know that's like a big, you know,
it's like a big conversation in music and Spotify. I know that's like a big, you know, it's like a big, you know, conversation in
music and empties like web three music is going to take over. And, you know, we're gonna we're
gonna eliminate Apple Music and Spotify. I'm not in that crowd. I understand that, like, that's the
way that people traditionally stream music. People asked me the other day, like, yo, you're gonna
drop this on Spotify and Apple Music, what are you gonna do um i'm fully committed to web3 man and whether that's the right strategy or not time will tell
but i believe in the core audience i i truly believe in that because i i give the statistic
all the time when i speak um whether you're popular or whether you're not i'll give you
just a little quick example it's like you have an independent artist that's making music out
of his room right he? He's talented.
He might be the greatest rapper, singer, musician ever, but he drops it on a DSP through TuneCore or DistroKid or whatever he chooses.
And he thinks that people are just going to find him and he's going to blow up.
It's not the way music works anymore, man.
It's a sad reality.
And there's 500,000 songs or more being released every single day on a digital streaming platform.
And whether you're great, whether you're the best artist in the world, Drake, Kendrick, whoever, or whether you're that new artist trying to find a dream, you're competing with a crab in a bucket, man.
You're competing with attention spans.
I mean, I listen to albums that are the main people that I listen to.
And I'm like, yo, I'm waiting for this album to
drop it drops I listen to it for a week and then I'm like all right next Friday is here what next
album's coming you know you don't even live with this an album anymore you don't do that so
to answer your question Tino my goal and this is just for me um again I always use Nipsey Hussle
as a as a motivation Nipsey Hussle to me, had the correct mindset when he did Crenshaw and he did a mixtape for $100 and everybody thought he was crazy.
He sold out in a day and he was not worried about the money that he made, the $100,000 he made in a day, I think.
The concept that he was going for was the true fans that believed in his music enough to buy that album for that price.
And he knew that those people, he wanted to connect
with those people. I'm trying to find my core thousand. I'm trying to find that one fan. And
everybody who meant it is a part of that core audience that I want. So what I want to do for
the future is, and what my goal is on Ape Chain and on Web3 in general, is that I want to lead
the way for music NFTs. I want to be innovating and I want
to think outside the box. I want to keep giving a way where you can connect NFTs and you can connect
token gating, you can connect this art, or you can connect whatever your mind comes with and be able
to release the music that way. And what we have next is, like I said, I want to keep dropping
albums. I want to keep coming up with new collections.
I believe in Ape Chain.
I really do believe in this.
You know what I'm saying?
I believe in the people over here.
I believe I'm in the right place at the right time.
I think that we have the most amazing people, incredible people that inspire me every day to keep thinking outside the box and figuring out a new way I can deliver this music.
And grateful, yes, I had a conversation with Fig on the other side
when I first was getting ready to drop Kaboomboxes.
Absolutely, man, I want to be able to drop music on the other side.
I would love to get with Yuga and have him play my music
or do a concert Fortnite style or just whatever.
And I know I'm a small fish, but I feel like, you know, that's the next goal is,
is web three licensing or figuring out a way where you can play my music through something.
And then the whole audience can hear it and you may not be a kaboom holder, but everybody's going
to be in the other side. Right. So if my music's playing in the background, you know, Illa was
playing music the other day and I was playing music for people. We were just, that's primitive,
but you, you know, you press your little talk button and you're in a bubble or whatever.
And you can have people just listening to you right there, vibing,
you know, break dancing, grooving, doing the, doing the dances and stuff.
So like I see the future and I have a lot of musician friends who don't see
the future and I'm just glad that I'm one of the ones who see what's going on.
And I'm so grateful that I stumbled upon this,
this NFT that I bought a long time ago. And it's brought me here with you guys. I never thought I'd be here dropping a project
like this. I'm surrounded by everybody in the audience and I'm just looking through. And there's
so many people here right now that you guys truly innovate me, truly excite me and inspire me. And
everybody's so innovating. And I just want to give flowers to everybody here, including yourself and
you guys that do these spaces. And you guys do an amazing thing by showcasing artists like
myself and just allow me to speak about you know how I feel about things so the future's bright
man just stay tuned for Kaboom boxes because like I said I'm not going anywhere I got more music to
drop music videos animations with the Kaboom boxes the ip is great i believe in it um you know 3d
models rendering who knows what we're going to take it to but i do know that we're going to take
it somewhere um and i'm going to take it on ape chain man that that's awesome i i want to add one
thing towards the the albums and music in general it's so much different with spotify right now
because you mostly listen to playlists right like you don't have that direct connection with the
artist or that's how I feel it but back in the day when I went to buy okay I'll
skip my childhood so I went to buy CDs not tapes so when I went to buy CDs man
you really need to know what you want if you didn't know you can you could
listen it in the store and then you listen to the whole album right from intro to the outro and the album was like put together in that way and
man i really miss that new cars they don't have cd players because i love listening to cds in my
car i know it's kind of old school but i love that so 100 100 got that also with other side we we
talk a lot about it in the past,
but now it's reality.
Like everyone has their own inventory,
which is on blockchain.
So you can bring your Kaboom boxes there
and you can give them to people.
They can maybe buy them over there.
If they like the song,
they can buy it in the other side,
et cetera, et cetera.
You can do parties there.
It's insane.
So I believe, man,
that you can build something
you know absolutely new something revolutionary uh in web 3 with music i think it's 100% possible
so i love to hear that i i really love the music man it's great i'll listen to it today
uh we use it as intro in the in the upcoming episode so man big big shout out to you
yeah thanks again man and i'll end it on this
um everything you said um amazing man i hope you guys enjoy the music grateful i hope you guys play
the music um and again i just want to say thank you guys i come and listen to your show all the
time and um i was talking to ngb down there shout out to him man um great dude as well we were
talking about like yo you need to get on the grateful show and i was like well i'd love to
get on that.
And for you to reach out and be a holder of my project and for you to actually have me on the space to talk about this.
No pun intended.
I am grateful today, bro.
So thank you so much for this.
And thank you for allowing me to come and talk.
And I'm looking forward to building with you guys, you know, in the future as we go through Ape Chain and we continue to grow in this ecosystem.
It's amazing.
So appreciate you guys for having me out today and let me speak on kaboom boxes
thank you so much thank you so much we appreciate always kind of uh this kind of uh innovative
approach people who create their own art and bring it in a different ways and and i'm a big fan i'm
gonna pick up some more. I already have some.
And it's funny because when we were hosting the project, I think you guys were minting out and
somebody mentioned it as well and we were like, oh, screw it, we missed it, but we were able to pick
some up on the secondary. So all the best luck and definitely jamming the album and we're gonna
play it on the show 100% that's awesome one more thing before i go guys and i'll let you guys move
to the next guest i forgot to mention um we are going to be giving physical vinyls for our rare
holders um we're doing the snapshot in one month we're allowing people to trade and and letting
people know we just had a big sale for our one of our rares the other day um we've already got three of them on secondary um some of our rare holders who minted are already just going
to hold and wait for the vinyl but um there's going to be 12 physical vinyls we're doing a
collaboration with my homie who has a vinyl shop at a long beach we're doing a small run
um so we're going to wait for a month let the trading you know you know go along with the
rares and see who holds on to them but after a, we're going to do a snapshot of the rares.
And whoever holds that rare, we're going to give them a physical collector's album, a vinyl of the album.
We've got a cool little Kaboom art, the vinyl.
And this is going to be really, really nice designed.
And yeah, it'll be a collector's piece.
I think we want to do vinyl in the future for our whole community.
I think that's the next thing that we want to do is offer vinyl.
If you do want to buy an album and you want to get a physical but for the rares for the first run we're going to give a free vinyl copy for anybody who owns a rare so if you see a rare and secondary or if you pick up a rare we'll do a snapshot in a month and if you do own that rare in your wallet you'll be getting a physical vinyl of the Kaboom album.
physical vinyl of the Kaboom album.
Let's go man, let's go. How do I know that it's rare? Is it a trait or is it a...
Yeah, yeah it's a trait so I didn't even discuss that. Our rares are called icons.
Icons are, yeah icon, you'll see them on that you'll see them on the traits on
Magic Eating, the ones that are listed. I know there's only 200 or something
listed out of the collection so I know there's not a lot but um yeah they should be on the traits
they're all after like hip-hop legends biggie tupac uh mf doom jam master j nipsey obviously
the kendrick and matt kaboom so yeah just go searching for the traits whatever ones are
available on there um you'll be able to pick those up and if you do own one we'll get you a physical
vinyl in the mail yeah none of them is available i'm just looking i i think one uh
for 555. oh yeah kendrick that's true uh one last thing dre uh what's the best way uh for people to
support you right now one thing of course getting the the nft but is there anything else what would help you
you know man obviously from aside from minting and just showing love with the project which i'm grateful for anybody who's a holder of mine and we're building a really cool community i mean we
were already really building one online um just show support man you know i really appreciate
organic support you know word of mouth retweets likes um like you know machiavilli coming in here
and talking to you about the space excuse me about, about the project. Just, I'm grateful for that. You know what I mean?
So yeah, really just showing grassroots support and organic love is basically all I can ask from
anybody in this, in this space and in these, in these rooms and, and, and just what we do in
general. So yeah, man, that's really all I asked for is just organic, organic love and just and just support yeah good luck man
guys give Dre a fall check the check the carbon boxes Twitter and give them also
to follow check the music enjoy it get the NFT you know you know how it works
thank you so much Dre I absolutely loved what you said we love music here so we gotta be
listening and we gotta be we're gonna be playing so let's fucking go man thank
you again get great for appreciate it
hell yeah guys I love it I it. I can't wait to listen
I know Machiavelli is already preparing something in the bubbles, but Machiavelli you came back
So anything else you would like to share before we get into the DeFi on Apechain with Simple Farmer?
Nah, man, you know, I just I love what Dre's doing
I love that he brought real hip-hop culture and history on chain.
You know what I'm saying? And chain is the chain for the culture.
You know what I'm saying? You see that with us being at ComplexCon and the way that we're rolling things out.
You know what I'm saying? And what we're building.
So to have an independent artist come and put his legacy on chain and put two of his most valuable tracks
that he could have easily have sold
and made six figures out there in the public.
It just speaks volumes to me on the individual that I'm supporting,
standing behind, and I'm here for that kind of growth
and that kind of culture, man.
Ape Chain on top.
Kaboom Box is on top, man.
To the Kaboom, man.
I agree, man. Sorry, I'm a little out of breath. I just moved like six
Love that bucko really
Okay guys, let's get into the defy on a chain because simple farmer is now head of defy and
development at ape chain which is amazing man like as you mentioned we hosted you uh i think before
minting clutch puppies and now we are uh you are also part of the spotlight like
clutch markets were a huge part of that so how are you doing simple farmer and let's get into
it man let's get into what you've been cooking and uh what can you expect from from your role
and from your vision man hey guys yeah i mean there's so much to dive into just for the focus
of the this conversation i'm gonna focus pretty much solely on on my role at at ape chain now which is like
head of defi and development and what that means is i'm gonna be doing everything that's associated
with increasing ape coin utility and so that also means making sure the price of ape coin is going
up and also implementing defi strategies for the ape coin treasury itself as we move forward uh and try to expand
both exposure and utility for apecoin tldr i'm here to pump your bags man
oh man now we love you even more after the gosh puppies
piece. 100% man.
hundred percent man i was just doing a quote or a tweet so i couldn't react
I was just doing quote retweet so I couldn't
react. But I was like, man,
let's go. I like, man,
that was the alpha, guys. Grateful
stayed completely silent. He was like,
yeah, yeah,
I'm here for it. Guys,
I know how you can support
Simple Pharma right now. Just DM him
when all-time high. Just DM him when
all-time high and
he'll work as hard as he can
but man i absolutely love these hires man like um absolute legends uh from the community uh
getting involved the team is getting bigger right after apecoindow uh was shut down i think uh
ape chain is is um it's like a business right like uh you guys have
probably some goals that you want to achieve uh one of them is you know price going up but i
believe you know utility and what we can do with apecoin is another thing so do you have any ideas
what you would like to to implement and what will be your your first steps because we know that ApeCoin staking
is ending by the end
of the 2025, right? So
it's been a wild ride since
I think it started 2022.
I think after, I remember
after Art Basel 2022
I think it started or
at that time. So what are your
plans for summer
and end of the year uh what you
want to do man so we're going to get exceptionally aggressive in q3 here as well as q4 but just in q3
short term you're going to be see the start of something that's not like one action but it's
actually a campaign uh where we're focusing on improving visibility exposure and trading volume
of ape coin across the chains that it exists on and also improving utility of ape coin for users
i think in terms of like what we can do with current ape coin staking at least along the
lines of what i'm thinking of and so don't you guys shouldn't take every single
thing which i say here like like it's the words of uh cam or the foundation directly but these
are just like my thoughts and opinions uh what and i can tell you a little bit of the things
that we're looking at is i think there's a good way to create in aggregate meaning with multiple
d5 protocols and clever solutions, different paths for people to continue
being able to stake their ApeCoin
and perhaps even earn more
than they're currently getting
with the ApeChain native staking.
And if we can do this through DeFi protocols,
that's going to be like a net zero emissions
or essentially net negative emissions.
That meaning right now you're getting apecoin
right but that apecoin is kind of just being put there by the treasury it's just all sell pressure
pretty much there's no buy pressure associated with that staking that's coming through
except for buy pressure coming on the nfts themselves which is fine right we want people
who hold bored apes and mutants and uh bored apepe Calendar Club Dogs to have a good source of ApeCoin because we want them participating in ApeChain too.
But I think there's a better way to do it.
So that's what we're actively working upon.
Like you said, this should work like a business, not a charity.
So we want to also make sure that at the end of the day, we've seen in the previous actions of the Dow, just huge emissions, a model that was
not functional, a model that probably would have bankrupted itself after a certain period of time.
Now, you know, it's more centralized leadership. And we are looking to make sure that we're
actually making money at the end of every year. So thicker treasury, which means more funds available
for things like spotlight,
marketing, community initiatives,
and just improving everything with ApeChain.
And Cam did mention himself today in the space,
so this is not any secret.
The hires of myself, Ryan and Dutchie,
shout out to them.
So we're also in the product team.
So I'm working with BD, so with Spencer and also with product and directly with babam and cam and strategy for apecoin as well as pp man
with the product team apechain is actually going to have products now too so that means our first
product that you're going to see is going to be the way that we distribute the system,
essentially the game that's coming to Apechain that we're going to use to distribute the prizes to the people who participated in Spotlight.
Oh, that's great to hear, man.
I don't know if you were a rock, Simple Farmer, right now, but I'll add to it, man.
When ApeCoinDAO started, we've hosted so many spaces, you know, we try to bring awareness.
I really thought that DAO could be an interesting experiment, right?
But as you mentioned, it's so tough.
You need to have leader, you need to have team and you need to have vision.
And like whenever everyone is voting for stuff, it was so slow.
It was crazy.
So I'm actually really bullish right now on ApeCoin, ApeChain, other side and BAYC family all together.
I think we are in a very, very good spot right now to actually create something insane.
And I love this move.
And I love what you said because I've been staking
Apecoin since day one, since it started.
And right now I'm thinking after staking ends, like what I'm going to do
with all that Apecoin, right?
So I'm happy that you're here to help me with that decision.
So yeah, really bullish news.
Of course, of course.
Yeah, I want you to have options.
I want you to actually be getting more ApeCoin
than you're getting now with your staking.
But I want that ApeCoin that you're getting
not to be to the detriment of the price of ApeCoin, right?
So you could be getting, I don't know,
10,000 Ape a year, say for example.
But how beneficial is that 10,000 Ape a year
if a lot of people are getting it and
that's resulting in you know 40 less of a candle in price action right so your existing number of
ape coin in your bag is growing but the price of ape coin is falling it's not a positive flywheel
what we're looking for is to create positive flywheel effects specifically with defy i don't
know if you saw did you see the video when Luka was explaining
how Pengu should work?
How he was using like a pen to show,
he was using a pen to show like the Pengu price
bouncing off lows,
and then continuing higher.
So not being like a crazy upward trend,
but like a steady upward trend.
I saw that video like a month ago,
and that's been stuck in my head
because I know how to make that happen.
And I know how to make that happen using like DeFi and DeFi primitives.
So I have one that is actually, that was actually bootstrapped today.
We're launching that and I can give you guys an example of the first DeFi protocol.
So this won't be the sexiest thing, but I think I can explain it away till it makes sense to you guys.
Let's go for it, can't wait okay so this is one of the first integrations we have with ape and this is with our partner
chain that we're built upon it's on arbitrum it's a protocol called p pods finance okay so p pods
finance is 100 a d5 protocol they do something called volatility farming. What I did yesterday is working with the PPODs team is we created a PPOD or APE. So the way volatility farming works is you create these pods, which are essentially liquidity pools that wrap the token. So now instead of just having APE, we have P-APE.
So now instead of just having Ape, we have P-Ape, okay?
Users will come through and when they see a big price discrepancy due to volatility on Ape,
they'll be able to go in and out of the pod and buy P-Ape, sell the regular Ape to benefit
and profit from the price arbitrage, meaning to make a capitalization on the difference.
So say Ape goes from $0.61 to cents to 55 cents in like two hours. You go on p pods,
you can arbitrage that price between the p pods price and make a profit. Meanwhile, we at the
treasury at ape coin, we're going to be providing liquidity for that pod. So users can go through
arbitrage on the price. When they do those wraps and unwraps, the treasury is going to benefit and make money.
And anybody can participate in the pod.
So you can either be a trader in the pod, or you can also be an LP provider to help grow our LP there.
This is the great thing here.
And so this is the DeFi flywheel effect.
As people go in and out of the pod to arbitrage on the price, they're going to be buying and selling Ape token. This is going to create more transactional volume on ApeCoin on Arbitrum,
which corresponds to more fees and revenue generated for people providing liquidity on Camelot or Uniswap or PancakeSwap. So this is what we call a positive effect DeFi flywheel.
In the meantime, what this does is also it's going to stabilize the price of ApeCoin in
a way that if we get wicked dips, people arbitraging through the Peapod's finance pool,
because they're trying to capitalize on that difference in price, are actually going to
stabilize the price of ApeCoin itself.
And so this is just one example.
You guys will see an announcement of this from the main ApeCoin account.
I'm going to do a video just showing you guys how you can use this protocol. It's something where you can have Ape and USDC paired, or if you only have ApeCoin, you can actually get a flash loan for USDC directly on the protocol and provide LP here to make passive income. So this will be one example of a great place you can park your Ape for some solid APY.
It'll be one example of a great place you can park your ape for some solid APY.
And when is this launching?
It's very soon?
So the pod is already active.
We'll be bootstrapping LP shortly.
And then you'll see the announcement.
We're just waiting for the Peapods team to make sure they do the correct thing with marketing.
Because I'm the kind of person, I move super fast.
But we have to also make sure that the people running the running the ape coin x account all that stuff have the material ready so then you'll see the tweet and the explanations and then also my
job is going to be helping you guys learn how to use all these tools right i want to help you expand
your toolkit right now you only have a hammer perhaps knowing how to buy and sell nfts and
knowing how to swap for tokens i want to make sure we have a hammer screwdriver a drill a wrench everything so that's going to be you know
learning how to interact with these various d5 protocols and like i said at the core of d5
protocols which are revenue generating products is usually token swaps so we have to have a lot of people swapping for apecoin speculation speculation means people
doing like perps uh doing options futures things like this on apecoin
and i mean those are the main two but number three is lending of course lending is like what
ave does uh you know and then you have bigger protocols for example like pendle on arbitrum
they're the one of the number one revenue generators they create these really cool platforms which i'll also bring
onto ape chain where you just see all of these pools that you can stake into on one ui and you
can kind of pick where you want to go so it's a defy aggregator man that's really cool and i can't
wait to actually try it. I love exploring these protocols
by actually doing, right? So
using my ApeCoin and trying
I think this is
going to be really, really dope.
Are there any risks
in doing this, man?
holders, like
if I take all my ApeCoin and put it in some liquidity pool, how should I think about it?
Yeah, so there's going to be a lot of things to think about.
It depends if you only have ApeCoin.
It'll depend if you have Ape in ETH, if you have Ape in USDC.
And you'll be able to look at, for example, what kind of yield these different pools and DeFi strategies are offering you.
for example, what kind of yield these different pools and DeFi strategies are offering you.
Like I said, I'll be doing deep dives on all these things so I understand if there are any
risks associated, although most DeFi protocols are relatively low risk. Usually with interacting
with liquidity pools for like DEXs, for example, so like depositing LP on Camelot, the thing that
you're risking is what's called impermanent loss. So right now, if you deposit, for example, a point Camelot and you set a range, the more
it gets, you know, on the outer sides of your range, for example, if the price of ApeCoin
increases a lot and you're an Ape LP provider, you'll end up having more of the other asset
that you're pairing with.
So say you're providing LP on Ape and Ape USD, as the price of Ape coin
increases, you'll have more Ape USD and less Ape coin. So you have to learn how to either use
smart LP that automatically rebalances these pools or use a wider range. And so this is where it also
gets important, right? We want thick LP. We want a lot of liquidity behind Ape coin, right? Ape coin
can be a 400 million market cap token, but if there's only, you know, 100 lot of liquidity behind ApeCoin. ApeCoin can be a 400 million market cap token,
but if there's only 100K in liquidity behind it,
that means only 100K worth of tokens can be sold in total.
So we want to make sure we have thick LP levels
on all chains that we're operating on.
But we also want to make sure that trading volume is strong
because that's going to lend to more people providing liquidity
i really love it if i might uh and and obviously we all who who have heard you speak before about
the clutch markets we know that you know what you're talking about and what you're doing so i'm
i'm really happy that uh the ape chain actually got you on board because you're definitely, you know, you know that stuff, you know what you're talking about.
And my question, though, is one of the things that Ape Coin and Ape Chain both needs very urgently is also like stepping outside of our bubble, our own echo chambers as we keep talking
about it here. Are these, because you mentioned some aggressive steps... These nuts!
Are these nuts, this kind of aggressive steps or part of the aggressive steps that you mentioned
before, towards the general public? Towards the crypto audience?
Or towards the existing
How are you looking at this?
Absolutely. All of the above.
And so, like I mentioned
before, think about what is
coming here. So this is
little reveal of Peapod is like
Finance. This is like the mini.
This is like the sand, piece of sand in the whole beach of what is being done.
This action that we're proceeding with is actually a full campaign, a full campaign
and strategy that I came up with that we're going forward with and implementing to do
all of these things for ApeCoin, you know, increase the price, increase exposure and
increase utility. While we're doing this in the meantime, we're definitely going to get a lot
of cross-pollination. So say, for example, like this Peapods launch, for example, just one,
one of, say, 20. We're coming through, we deploy LP, they co-market us as ApeCoin, ApeCoin co-markets
them. Some of their users may come through to ApeChain. They may come through the other
side, participate in some other side games.
So that's bonus users. In the meantime,
what we're getting, yield for the treasury
and another staking
source for
users who have ApeCoin
fees for the people who are LPing
for ApeCoin. So this is like a mutually
beneficial flywheel
uh we definitely want to make sure we're capturing these users and you know when we get to the point
where we're releasing really big announcements taking on really big actions making our big
swings that's going to be like you know dropping bombs in a lake there's going to be a lot of fish
hopping around to see what what it is what's going on want to make sure we capture as many
of those as possible so that's where the community can definitely hop in and we want to make sure um
we're making the most of that right getting the most bang for our buck i think it's been tough
right with the dow a lot of people got down a lot of things uh some people didn't get money some
people did get money and did like nothing with it so there's been a little bit of speeding up
the previous
mess i think that was going on but i think now we're finally clearing through that transition
period and entering into this new awakening and it's it's all hands on deck guys it's
we are painfully aware that you know bull cycles don't last forever uh and if we don't act and make
big swings to gain exposure price action and utility
like nobody's gonna do that for you that's not something that's gonna happen organically that's
something we have to go out and work for and so that's what we're doing as a team here uh and you
guys are gonna see the effects of it i'm 100 sure man this is really, really bullish, right? Like, man, you don't know how I love to see this
and hear this because you need people working
in any kind of project that has a goal to succeed,
that have a skin in the game,
that understand the space, right?
You've done it with clutch markets
and with clutch puppies.
There's already like staking there, right?
And yeah, that's dope to see and hear.
I can't wait for the launch.
And man, ApeCoin to the...
Man, ApeCoin on top.
I'm not going to say to the moon, right?
But it's going to happen.
I know it's going to happen.
I know, man, I'm really believing...
You don't have to say anything, Simple Farmer,
but I really believe that we're gonna hit
that all-time high, guys.
I really believe in that.
The ticker is APE.
Hell yeah, hell yeah.
I also heard in Coffee with Captain
that there should be a Thang Ape season.
I don't know what's the number
If it's like 9
Is that true? Is there gonna be another
Thane Cape run?
So that's not something that I'm directly involved in
Like I said, so that's not
I guess my department
But I think if Cam said it, it's highly, highly likely
So yeah, what is
What I can tell you guys that is coming up soon
Which is pretty cool
Is at the end of the month There's to be the start of a vibe coding camp.
So that's going to be a really cool free initiative for people to come through and learn how to vibe code some stuff with the ApeChain team.
It's going to be run by Alok, who is one of the engineers for ApeChain, ApeCoin.
So that's going to be a pretty cool thing to participate in but what you're going to see is
like right now i feel like this last 10 days and i wish this wasn't happening right now because i
don't think that we should have these lulls of 10 days without like anything major going on besides
us announcing okay these are the top 10 people they won these top 10 prizes after this we're
going to get into this game that's going to happen that's's going to be the distribution of the rewards for Spotlight.
I'm telling you guys, this is a game that everybody will be able to participate in.
Even if you didn't participate in Spotlight, if the person who did participate in Spotlight wants to essentially sell you their spot, they'll be able to.
I'll leave it at that.
After that comes, we're just going to have continuous weekly and bi-weekly rollouts of things and activations you can do
on ApeChain. So we want ApeChain to be a place that you come to every day,
complete some transactions, do some fun things, sometimes for incentives, sometimes for
educational experiences. And all of these things are going to be pushing this super powerful DeFi
ApeCoin flywheel, where we are going to become an elite utility token.
So for example, I'll give you guys another example of something that is coming through.
We have a protocol coming through.
And Grateful, by the way, I do need to reach out to you because I would love to have them
on as a guest.
They're deploying two weeks from now.
They're called Case.Fun, and they were founded by the team that founded this protocol called
It was one of the first web 3 decentralized
d5 finance protocols ever so these people are giga brains what they created is a game where you come
through and you swap tokens and 33 of the time when you swap these tokens these pairs that they
select you get this case nft inside the case it's like a pack like a pox pack or whatever
sometimes inside the case there's coins sometimes inside the case there's like a pack like a pox pack or whatever sometimes inside the case there's
coins sometimes inside the case there's nfts right and obviously we're going to have a ton
of nfts coming through from these spotlight sweeps so some of these nfts are going to be
deployed via case.fun who is deploying on ape chain and we're going to be selecting pairs of
tokens which people will have to swap into buy and sell essentially to get these cases so it's not going
to cost you much outside of gas fees because you can just buy the token sell it buy the token sell
it buy the token sell it doesn't matter you can't do like one cent but you get what i mean to get
these cases what this is going to do is going to provide intense high transaction volume on ape
chain for tokens that are already existing here, for tokens that
we want to showcase and highlight in the short term. The byproduct of that is going to be people
who are providing liquidity for ApeCoin are going to be making fat fees, right? Because there's a
lot of trading volume. So they're going to be making really good money as these liquidity
providers. At the same same time we're going
to be running in the background incentives not powered by us at ape chain but coming from our
partners like camelot where camelot is going to be coming through and giving you extra ape and
grail tokens for being an lp. So this is the cool part.
You come in, you swap tokens, you get free NFTs.
You come, you provide liquidity,
you get extra fees because these token trading volumes are going crazy,
plus extra incentives from Camelot itself.
What that results in is a huge number of TXs on chain,
fantastic metrics, huge volume on the tokens, right? And
so as people look at tokens on multiple chains, people are thinking about what the ape, nobody
wants to ape a token that has $500 in volume. So across the board, what we're creating here again
is a DeFi flywheel, right? So this is one thing pushes the next thing pushes the next thing.
And it all comes round circle in
the meantime as we get that great positive price action on ape coin you know i don't know five ten
cent candle people on peapods finance that i told you guys about earlier are farming the volatility
of the price itself they in turn are also increasing transactional volume on ape coin
which is increasing the fees that you're making as an LP provider for ApeCoin 2.
And then we just keep this coming round circle.
You see where I'm going here?
And imagine I can add eight more things onto this flywheel
and get that shit really moving.
Oh my god, bro.
Let's fucking go.
Yeah, I see the Apechain intern in the audience.
I really hope you won't get fired, bro,
because you gave us so much alpha.
I really appreciate this.
This is amazing.
And yeah, man, it all will make sense
as a piece of puzzle coming together, I believe.
Man, I think Apecoin is probably...
Not probably, it's 100% like I have the most money
in ApeCoin more than ETH, Bitcoin and anything else so I'm happy to hear this man because I don't
want to sell ApeCoin I want to I want to grow the stack right I want to be Acoin whale and um this is the thing that helps me with that so i love to
hear that man also any alpha towards the other side um uh you know what you can do there if if
there be some other gamification or maybe you know talking about clutch markets maybe any
betting on bathroom blitz or something like that guys definitely don't bet on me always
bet against me because man in bathroom blitz oh holy shit man i spawn and i'm dead that that's
that's my game yeah bet on dino pause right he's he's got mad skills that's him i already has 12
always kills me i already has 12 fingers yeah he has to yeah he has to man yeah well so in terms of bathroom blitz i have been in touch
with von doom and there has been mutual interest as they continue to grow the platform in creating
a way that you can create these these bets on who's going to win which side while still in the
lobby right so while you're winning the lobby for entering the game, you pick your side, you put your money on your side, or maybe against yourself, if you're
really crazy like that, and you come through and you play the game just to add an extra layer of
interest there. I think that would be an easy thing to add. In terms of the other side, and I
mentioned this in Captain Space this morning, I think it's important to incentivize users to play
on the other side, but I think it's important not to do so by giving apecoin away uh it's the same as the staking
right if we're just giving away a bunch of apecoin we're creating cell pressure and although that
might be good for short-term user acquisition that model has been tried and tested it doesn't work
long-term people stop playing what you have to have is elite products that people just enjoy using that are and so you have people playing in the other side not to gain ape coin but just
because they like the product and i really think we're like 90 90 of the way there maybe more
plus what's going to happen with the other deeds what are people going to build additionally
for me what's important and what i'm thinking about is how can we create some kind of terminal or access point to bridge the gap between the other side and ApeChain so that you can conduct all these DeFi things, whether that be staking your ApeCoin that you have in your other side of Lyft wallet, whether that be swapping for tokens as you meet with somebody in a bubble and you guys decide, hey, let's ape Wong, right?
Let's ape Wong and we can do that from the other side.
Whether that be speculating, right?
Let's make an Apes predict bet and let's race who's going to get to this tree first.
Things like this, I think, could be accessible via a single universal terminal that kind of corresponds to all of the best DeFi and crypto products that we have on Ape Chain anyways. And then kind of have that yield be a source, the yield that these protocols are generating anyways from the use,
have that yield be a source of staking so people can stake their ApeCoin and enjoy the other side
even more. So this is where I think we can start getting into talks of positive flywheels with in-game economies, with games being played with interactions.
Because remember, like I said in the beginning, what powers DeFi is transactions.
So what we need is people making TXs, making transactions, making swaps, stuff like that.
One of the reasons we're lagging behind is because, of course, a lot of our transactions are from from ape to nft which is difficult to work with but not impossible so we have a solution coming through for that
that's paddle fight they're going to be fractionalizing g's as the peanuts token
that immediately gives us more of that token volume and that is why we're definitely going
to be highlighting the peanuts a pair with the case.fun protocol that i told you guys about
earlier making sure they got fat volume we want to get that shit humping hard and yeah that that's not you know with with any particular
reason besides that it's really really good for the chain that we have healthy tokens like that
uh so i'm really bullish on what they're doing because they're pretty much allowing us to bring
that tokenized defy into the nft space but back to the other side, I also think that there will be an easy way for us to create educational DeFi experiences,
essentially gamifying DeFi, where you are participating in a 3D game of some kind in the other side.
And while you're completing your actions, you're actually participating in DeFi without knowing it.
So essentially gamifying DeFi, making it an educational experience.
So it would be like you come through and you're pressing a button to plant a seed that costs you 100 ape into a farm.
Boop, you can come back and check your crops later.
And your 100 ape turned into a bunch of apples that are worth 130 ape.
Where did that 30 ape come from?
Oh, you were actually staking your
108 into this protocol. Right. This is just like one really, really basic example.
Oh man, that's so dope. I'm so bullish. It's insane, guys. It's absolutely crazy.
I'm so happy to be here because we've been through a lot, man. Still bullish on everything right but i really feel in deep deep deep that we are at
very interesting point right now i mentioned that early in this space today so man absolutely love
that i love what's happening and i know bba they they have a call with cam in like uh 25 30 minutes
so we will have to get into them but simple Simple Farmer, I have one more question.
How does it work when you get hired for for Ape Chain? Is it like that Cam called you and you had a walk in Central Park and he was like,
Simple Farmer, do you want to sell?
Do you want to keep selling sugar water or you want to come to work for Ape Chain?
And you were like, of course, man.
So how did it work, actually?
It was like it was kind of like in Forrest Gump, you know, when he starts running and
he's running away from all the mean kids and then the braces on his legs start breaking
and he's just running faster and faster and faster.
And then somebody's running, run, Forrest, run in the background.
And then in the end, you know, you just shift to the boxing ring and all you can hear in
the back of your head is Adrian
holy shit man I really hope we're gonna get something like streaming services I don't know
legally if you can stream movies but man this would be so dope like going to other sites chill
out there with the friends maybe I don't know you know do some defy while watching movies
i can imagine that definitely we need to watch that uh apeshit documentary there that's that
has to happen guys if if you're listening here anyone who can make it happen please please also
i see nana in the audience i forgot to mention other page other space our main sponsor through
the years and simple farmer they've been giving
us zero ape coin can you imagine how can i turn zero ape coin into like 100 000 ape coin i'll dm
you because that's the alpha of this space today probably i got you i got you so as an early
supporter and a partner of other page you're you are immediately integrated with other page you're
one of the earliest people to create badges to to create experiences that are minted on Chainz memories.
Now, with that close connection,
that you're garnering now with OtherPage as a platform,
as they continue to grow and become an elite Web3 platform
that rivals Discord for community building,
Discord, which comes in at a value of $15 billion,
they'll be coming
through and giving you massive sponsorships a year down the line so right now you've given
your time for free but down the line you're getting a paycheck oh my god love it theoretically
we're rich just for believing in nana in the future you're rich in the always man we're rich
in the future bro no we're so rich to be able to have Nana as our sponsor for ZeroEat, ZeroApe.
We are rich already.
And Nana, I sent you feed pics in DMs, so please check it out.
Check it out.
And Simple Farmer, thank you so much for all the alpha.
Good luck.
And man, I'm bullish on you.
Keep killing it, bro
Guys give simple farmer a follow if you have any questions you can DM him and
Check clutch markets right and check clutch puppies guys. It's a it's a really dope collection lab chain. So man
I'm so fucking hyped. It's crazy. It's crazy
Thank you grateful. Thank you. Grateful. Thank you, Tino, so much. Look to my page for
content in the near future where I'll be doing like deep dives and kind of explaining these
DeFi protocols with like super simple metaphors to try to make sure everybody understands how it's
doing. Also, I'll be bringing through the founders of some of the protocols we're onboarding to
ApeChain and integrating ApeCoin into through on ApeChain spaces, like GratefulSpace.
So you can come through and ask questions, figure out how things work.
You know, I kind of feel like we could be training like the army of 300 Spartans.
And you remember how well they did against the Persians?
Do you remember that movie?
Oh, hell yeah, man.
Hell yeah.
I love this idea, man.
I love this.
And we have so many great
spaces. We can use it as a platform.
And it's incredible.
So love it, man. Love it. Love all
the ideas here. It's gonna be crazy,
guys. If you don't have ApeCoin,
you fucked. That's
new ad. Like, don't have ApeCoin,
you fucked, baby.
I don't know if you can say it like that, but
I'm not a native English speaker. I don't even know what I'm saying, right? So I can say it like that but you know i'm not native english speaker
i don't even know what i'm saying right so i can say whatever i want non-financial advice but
simple farmer really really big shout out to you man big shout to ape chain and the team you guys
ape chain on top thank you so much for all the support and now we gotta be talking about art
that's that's something that we also love.
What a great episode today.
I'm so, man, I can't even talk, man.
Like, it's fucking crazy today.
What's going on, guys?
Like, it's so bullish.
It's so bullish.
It's crazy.
Like, we don't do this bullposting and boost.
I don't know, man, but today it's crazy.
I'm telling you.
Yeah, we need to clap our hands at first because I don't know what's going on.
Let me find that song. Oh, something is happening, man. Something disconnected from my soundboard probably.
But I'll figure that out. We gotta clap our hands. Don't worry, don't worry.
Tino, man, are you buying a new Apecoin? Did you sell your house and are you buying more?
I wish, yeah. I think it's also probably my biggest back so uh super happy uh to
hear everything i i really feel that the aggressivity is actually needed because there is a lot of
scarves out there in different uh uh different blockchains and uh the different coins and
and many of them are actually it's it's funny but it's not very talked about but uh
many of them are actually or some of them might actually be paying some people to not to talk
good things about ape coin oh man say it like say it loud here like mfers are paid to fuck us man
but they have no fucking chance man because we have the best team ever baby we are like ellen
iverson stepping over tyronn Lue, baby.
You know, that's awesome efforts.
You know, crossover, bam, you've fallen down.
And we got you, bro.
So love it.
Yeah, Simple Farmer, he stepped down because I understand.
I understand.
You know, you can be part of these discussions
because now you are officially part of Ape Chain.
So love that, love that.
And Tino, I have the songs ready.
Everybody just clap your hands.
Everybody just clap your hands like this.
Thank you for joining us tonight. appreciate it ladies and gentlemen we just warm it up guys because we have bba here on stage guys welcome here again how you doing i
know you have the call as always we always try to be on time but it's tough it's tough
hey hey what up what up no problem at all bro it's a pleasure pleasure hearing about these It's tough! It's tough! people contributing to the space um you know we love to to hear you you you know something just
about what we're doing you have some some some question man i i tell you one thing it was
absolutely incredible because alok we met him with tino here in prague on ape chain hackathon
right and he dm'd me like hey man i have i have this dope project i would love to introduce you
i was like come on do it right now and now we're talking on spaces i i don't know much about you
guys what you've been cooking so if you can also give us like short intro what is beyond the board
ape i would love to know man because uh alok was like man it's amazing so i can't wait to learn more. Absolutely. Absolutely. Bro, first things first.
I want to talk about a little about how this was born, right?
What is the feeling behind Beyond the Board Apes?
So this primarily is born behind the willing to preserve the feeling of the genesis of all this.
So as you yourself said, you've been staking eight
points since 2021. So you know how in the start, everything was fun, it was chaotic, it was like
human. People knew they were a part of something unique, something really special. And unfortunately
with time, that kind of dissipated a little bit. You know, firstly was collective, then turned a little into corporative.
And now, what was already difficult to access through Twitter, now it's almost impossible.
Because, you know, Bar Ape Club vanished, all his tweets, before 2024, so
everything that's happened before
lives in...
Really? Yeah, yeah,
you didn't know that? Like, we were
searching for some archives, like,
you don't have nothing behind
2024, if you try to go there,
that's what I'm saying, you know,
this only lives in people's minds
right now, this only lives in people's minds right now this only living in space talks you don't have nowhere to find where this all started you know
um so so you know you yourself you have your your use of your ap i know you made like a chocolate
brand we got people like bringing music out here as we we saw today and that's like
for us that's unhinged gems bro we don't want that to to disappear between a feed if you know
what i'm saying because this chain changes people's lives you know we got like people um
selling their houses to buy apecoin we got people like buying houses because of ApeCoin. And that's exactly
what we're trying to create here. We don't want to like make some nostalgias, like, you know,
empty nostalgia or something, or just like a lineup or events like, know our project is like a living archive a history that keeps being
formed by those who enter those who participate and those who look around and still feel that
pulse is for those who lived who want to have something to tell their children like i was a
part of this and also as i said you, we're entering a bullish side of things.
We need people to know where this all came from,
what I'm being a part of now.
So we're firstly doing this as a manga,
we're creating a manga about everything,
but it's really about preserving culture,
not only in this side of things, but keeping it all alive.
So that was actually my question. So what's the medium? What's your approach to doing this?
Because it's a big goal. It's something that can be approached in so many different ways. So what's your approach?
so many different ways so what's your approach well uh we firstly chose manga because the main
founder is a bit of a nerdy head he really loves this this this way of communicating and we also
think it is a great bridge between generations you know you can have your children to see it
you can have older people to see it. So we chose it for that reason.
And it's also like the main creative for us. You can have an anime, you can have animation,
you can have like physical extension. So we chose that as our first kickstart, as our
first like, subtract of what happened.
So how should I imagine that? Is it gonna be like a book or comic series or a movie?
Or what's the medium again?
It's firstly a manga, like a digital one.
And like we want the holders of our first drop
to have a physical extension of it too.
So it looks a little bit like comics,
you know, the drawing style and everything,
but we respected the main core cultural of it
being black and white and the drawing and all.
So that will be our first project,
but we're really looking forward to do something bigger than that.
So extend it to animation or something but our first project is going to be a manga
man we definitely get more into into the what you're cooking guys but i i did a i did a search actually on my twitter back in 2021
it's absolutely crazy like guys if you want to search byc history i don't know if it's not on
byc account but it's on my account and it's absolutely nuts i see the first stickers there i
see zen nft bonsai is there i see uh camels there. It's insane.
And I think also part of the history
is the NFT wall in Brooklyn, right?
So you have all these things all over the world
that are really part of the history.
And I see the video from,
I don't know if I'll be able to pin it,
but I'll try it, that we made here in Prague.
We had an amazing NFT gallery here and we actually
shot the the video there so i i love the idea i love the idea that's why that's why i love the
the last space when we talk about apesh documentary because it really brought me back and i forgot a
lot of stuff that actually happened and the vibes and everything and as you mentioned we've been
through a lot but i'm feeling that we are in a great spot right now so yeah so how it's gonna work like you have
some some mint on ape chain uh you have uh what you have you have a book in works how is it going
to work actually you know uh it's great to see how your even your voice tone changed when you
started like looking through it you know that's where we're looking for.
People need to remember what happened.
People need to be a part of what they were a part.
So as for this initial drop, we're going to do like 2,222 NFTs.
Not PFPs yet, but a different style of NFTs that we're gatekeeping for now, what is it going to be.
But we don't have a mint date right now.
We still have some spaces.
As you mentioned, we're going to have a talk to Kim today that I'm really, really bullish about.
But for this initial drop will be that uh the holders of the initial drop will also
um get the the physical extension of what we're building and if we made this this pfp project in
the future we also um want to to a drop that to the holders because you can see many projects that
were born here after the hype went out and everything and most of
them don't come back to the community they don't give back to where they
minted so we're really about that about giving back to who we're creating to so
it's being a really really lovely journey it's been we've been connecting to amazing people and you know i'm i'm
happy to to bring that that feeling even to you um remembering and and feeling how if it felt back
then yeah and i think um if we look back to history, right, from the mint that didn't happen in like, it wasn't quick. It took a week to mint out BAYC actually, right? Not that everyone remembers that. And I minted on the last day, which is funny. I minted and it disappeared in a few hours after that.
of that through all the ape fest and irl events and meetups all over all over the world right like
we were in paris lisbon uh hong kong new york uh tino i don't know where else man like everywhere
right like uh here in prague like it's crazy journey and you meet new people there uh you
onboard new people into the club so it's's really, really special. And part of the process is that bringing your apes into that, right?
Like you mentioned that we have a chocolate brand.
We have so many talented people building their brands around their IP.
So is there a way how we can actually bring our IP into the manga,
into the art that you are creating, guys?
Well, we're simply going to, you know, reserve a part for it.
But now we already got some curated stories that we want to bring to this first chapter.
But when the sites that the digital manga will be on releases,
we're going to just get a part when you can submit.
What do you think is important?
What happened to you?
What's the brand you want us to talk about
and preserve in a certain way?
But for now, we're still gathering
what's going to be a part of it
on a really curated sense.
We wanted to bring those big happenings,
those big events and milestones.
But certainly in the future,
we want to open that for more people to join us
and help us bring the life to the manga
and to the community as well.
So if I might ask you,
who's the team behind or who are we?
Because it's very important, of course, for the community to know who is the one curating,
because curators are very important in this world.
And as somebody is curating the journey and the story, who is it and who is behind that?
Well, firstly, we got Anne, who's here in the space too he's a bit
shy so uh he chose me to to come up here and talk to you guys but he's not just a creator he's also
an art collector he's been a builder here for a really really long time so um he's one of the
main heads behind it it's been a really beautiful process with him because he's really perfectionist.
So he chose well what's going to be a part of it, what aesthetics is going to be.
So not only that, we also made a group of early supporters,
people who are helping us guide this project to come to life.
We also have Dave Cohen, who's here.
We have Kevin Wu.
We have Vi.
We have people who showed up in the spaces, too.
Ella, who introduces to you, too.
So it's grateful to see that not only OGs,
but also new members in the community,
you know, they relate with what we're doing
and they want to help us guide this movement around here. So we have a gated community
that's helping us guide here, but we also love to see other people come up and contribute
to see other people come up and contribute to what we're doing here.
to what we're doing here.
ApeJ on top, baby!
I love it, I love it.
Are you planning to mint in August, actually?
Yeah, yeah, no, we don't plan to extend it that much.
We're just really doing some, you know uh some spaces some calls and
and um letting people know we're doing this because this is a project that didn't like
it started um this year it started like and back in 2023 we made a proposal to to to apecoin where
the coin was just a coin and even then And even then, we had, like, amazing reception.
People loved it.
People supported us.
But we still had some noise.
We still had some, you know, hype and charts about everything that was happening.
And some weeks ago, some months ago, actually, we had a chat with Cam with Head of Ape,
and we felt that that pools
come alive again we felt that the urge to of people building people creating coming up back again
so um now we feel that the timing is just right that people will receive it as it needs to because
this is not just a project for the community you know know, it's a part of Anne's story too.
He's a part of Bored Ape Club. He loved everything that happened.
He was there when the mint happened.
And this is something he really keeps in his heart.
And he didn't want to bring it out in any way, you know.
So we just feel like now is the perfect timing to do it.
So probably in a week or so, we're going to release it. We don't have a specific mint date, but it's not going past August now.
Love to hear that, man.
And I want to do a little announcement because Dr. Dave Cohen, he actually DMed me.
And he's renaming his Twitter account to Dr. ApeCoin so love it
a big celebration I don't know if he's going to change the background into aquamarine that's
probably not gonna happen as Batteed said there are no backgrounds in the metaverse and I absolutely
love that that's that's we need to make a graffiti in the other side saying that. It's a really cool saying. And by the way, guys, I also pin up the tweet,
the Alpine F1 team new poster is live.
So you can mint it using glyph, which is super easy.
I would love to know if we can buy the posters
that we missed because I missed three posters, damn.
And I need them.
So I don't know if we can buy them on secondary.
But this is going to be also part of the history.
And I don't want to sound like delusional,
but I'm so bullish on everything that's happening right now, right? Like,
other games are happening.
Like, everything's utter right now.
We need to go... Damn.
Tino, we need to come up with something utter.
I love that name.
My Twitter account for I don't know, 80 years was other than others.
It's pretty funny.
True story.
BBA, see, we have an early adopter here.
True story, bro.
BBA, how can people support you right now?
right now how they can help you
How they can help you?
well so currently we're still releasing some fragments we're still like telling
people what we're doing so if you really want to keep up with what we're doing
you can just follow us and you know keep up with everything we're posting we also
gonna have the board a gazette article so there's so much more to come everything we're posting. We're also going to have the Bored Ape Gazette article.
So there's so much more to come yet.
We're gatekeeping some things, as I said.
So just drop us a follow.
Keep up with what we're doing.
And I'm sure you will not regret it.
This has been a beautiful story with beautiful people.
So it's all about us.
It's all about people who is here.
So you're definitely not going to regret
what we're cooking right now.
And guys, if it's not a secret,
where are you based?
We have different locations right now,
you know, but I'm currently in London
for some time.
And the main founder is currently in Paris
because he's creating for an art gallery
that's happened there.
And that's one of the reasons
why I came up here instead of him
because that's taking a little bit of his time.
So we're kind of spread all around the world,
if I can say that.
Of course, man. Like we are living in the metaverse anyway, right? spread all around the world, if I can say that.
Of course, man, like we are living in the metaverse anyway, right?
So love it.
And I also think that beauty of spaces, bubbles, other side and all these connections and IRL events, of course, is that as an artist, right, like Dre can connect with some other projects.
You can guys also connect with other projects. And you can cooperate.
You can work together.
We have such a fantastic community here.
So many builders here in space.
I also want to shout out LilLily.set
with beautiful Sarah Stargirl PFP.
When in other side, that will be amazing.
But we see G's here, right?
G's are in the other side
So cool to see that and I know more and more
PFPs will follow and
Yeah, it's it's so cool to see that
Yeah, I see clutch puppies of course the gank. Let's go
I'm also trying to get
Don Diablo or typical tiger account here guys if you can join us
now is the time um you know we had a tight tight schedule for today's space because in 10 minutes
other space starts uh i know bba you probably have that call so is there anything else that
you would like to share with the audience guys give them a follow you have macaveli here man
someone told me that i'm voice of the metaverse
I don't know if it was Herman or somewhere
But Machiavelli is 100% also voice of the metaverse because damn his voice man
We should do some duo Machiavelli man. Maybe I would love to work with you
Grateful deadass. I really would and like listen, I get a lot of compliments like that like I'm not gonna lie to you
I'm double dipping right now I get a lot of compliments like that. Like, I'm not going to lie to you. I'm double dipping right now.
I'm on another stage with like 8,000 bots in the room with Brando right now.
And we're talking about the other games as well.
And he's like, oh, this is the most recognizable voice in Ape Chain.
And it's so nice getting those compliments and stuff like that.
And listen, if I had my way, we're both the voice of the metaverse and Ape Chain.
Because like, you've been doing this for a long time, my friend.
And I will always supersede to the master, man.
Like I'm grateful to watch you grow in this space and,
and follow in full footsteps of being,
trying to be a host like you and stuff like that.
Like you're very organized, you're very consistent,
and you provide quality entertainment.
And like, that's, that's in itself right there.
That is one of the most hardest things to do because it requires something
that most people can't do.
And that's showing up, my friend.
So thank you very much for the compliment, Grateful.
And please, guys, bring your friends this weekend.
Get them a Glyph wallet.
It's okay if they're a regular avatar.
Maybe you have multiple Gs or other assets you can delegate so that they get to use an avatar in the other side.
Please come play the games.
Come have fun with us.
You know, we're giving out prizes.
You know what I'm saying?
We're building community.
We're creating culture in the other side.
And we're having fun while we do it.
You know what I'm saying?
It's a natural organic progression.
We want you and your friends there.
So please come join us on the other side.
Bro, you're an absolute legend
being on two stages at once.
I don't think I've seen anybody do that.
I appreciate you, man.
He's there with bots, bro.
Like, what you doing with bots, bro?
Like, what's going on there?
Yeah, I don't know, man.
But it says that there's 11,500 people in this room.
You know what I'm saying?
But yeah, it's a great stage over there.
They're talking about the other games.
And you know, Brando and the Gwapes,
they're going to participate this weekend
with us. So that's super exciting
and stuff like that. Can you unmute? Can you unmute
there too so we can share the
message between the spaces? Is it possible?
Right now, there's other
guests speaking and stuff like that.
It doesn't matter, man. Just unmute and go for it,
bro. With your voice, bro. You Just unmute and go for it, bro. With your voice, bro.
You can unmute anytime.
I know, bro.
Listen, Brando.
I've known Brando for a really long time.
And Brando will nip me in the bud fast.
He loves me, but he'll shut me down.
So I just want to be respectful to the space and stuff.
But I know I really appreciate you guys.
I know you are.
You know I'm kidding.
I really, really appreciate you guys, man.
Like, you know, and, and, you know, I look forward, you know what I'm saying, to this weekend with you guys and who can participate.
Tino, if you, we would love for your son to come participate Sunday, tournament of the G's.
We'll give him a shout out, all that.
You know what I'm saying?
Just get with me on the back end.
And, you know, we want to show love and we want people to see that this is a social communal event.
And like, guys, we're trying to onboard everybody,
the world to the other side from every chain,
from every corner, from every gaming system,
from every gaming league or guild and everything.
We want to bring them over to the other side.
You know what I'm saying?
It's a simple mission.
And it's so easy to onboard into crypto right now
with these kinds of tools like gif glyph and and the other side so i i'm just i couldn't
be more elated and excited to be part of the club to be part of this community and uh doing what i
love naturally you know what i'm saying like that's that's the magic about about this for me
right now it's like uh i'm just having fun with my friends and it's working. You know what I'm saying? And like that's a man.
It puts water to my eyes and a smile to my heart.
Guys, it's crazy, right?
Like we live in the middle of the Europe.
The country that is like, yeah, we can count two countries, you know, right?
Like we are neighbors with your country. So like, I don't know 14 14 million like 14 million people which is
probably like the you know la and and areas around are 14 million people right but uh the point here
is that we can all connect we can all have fun we can all play games we can all chat here we can
all meet irl in vegas we can all lose money we can all get married, we can all chat here, we can all meet IRL in Vegas, we can all lose money, we can all get married there, we can all get face tattoos there.
We can all do crazy shit there because of the club, right?
So I'm really grateful to be here, to be part of that movement, to talk to all of you amazing artists.
And yeah, BBA, they're probably on the call with Cam right now.
So absolutely stoked to be here, guys.
Really bullish, absolutely crazy vibes
it's it's it's awesome so yeah man makavali big shout out to you and tino i think it's uh it's
probably slowly time to wrap it up so how did you enjoy today man like again i i love uh when we have
such different topics and uh it always feels like few different episodes in one you know when you
listen back you just have a feeling that it's going like really the one topic and and also you
can literally listen to it as three separate episodes and i really enjoyed it um i'm very
bullish as well uh and and we've been bullish throughout some of the very, very tough times when everything was bleeding and we were bleeding as well.
And so I think we have rights to be bullish right now.
And we have a reason to be bullish right now as well.
So that's the difference, I hope.
Yeah, 100%, man.
Like, it's, you know, we've been...
We minted other side.
We were in the first trips.
I was in the test demos with Improbable.
And we're not talking about weeks or months,
but we're talking about years, right?
Like, we've been through it.
We live dead.
And I really appreciate that we can go to other side whenever we want
you know i always see macaveli there he's koda you know and uh doing bubbles or something we
can go to bathroom blitz and there's got to be more and more and as you wrote in the tweet in
in the newsletter about the momentum and that's something that simple farmer actually mentioned
right like they will have announcements they will have stuff to release and they will keep us uh you know i
think entertained and it's gonna be a lot of fun so i'm extremely bullish what a great great
thursday i can't wait also for for saturday to play uh it's absolutely nuts to be in this space
and i'm so grateful for that guys it is uh i think it's still pumping you know so
everything is great we had a great guest today great i see amazing people in the audience also
want to shout out squiddy squiddy if you want to quickly quickly in like three minutes hop on stage
and shill the space on monday please please do it if you can't all good i'll shill it for you
let's see if okay i'll try to invite him to speak but yeah really really amazing stuff
guys uh it's it's dope it's dope and i'm bullish yeah and when talking about newsletters of course
i want to uh pump my own bags and uh you guys should definitely subscribe to my newsletters
but grateful abe has been writing his newsletter for ages he's he's a consistent motherfucker. You are definitely right, Machiavelli. And he's been
doing it every single Monday. So guys, if you don't subscribe to his newsletter, I think I'm
going to keep mentioning it for him every episode because he never does. So I'm definitely going to
try to pin it. It's probably hard to find a tweet he just he just keeps writing for himself
i believe for himself but it's true bro because i'm documenting the history i'm picking the most
interesting tweets or events of the week and and i've been doing that since december december
2021 i think i never missed a single week i do it every week and you can basically go and search
and go you know january 2022 and you can see what was happening
and it's nuts going through those tweets, it's insane man
it's really cool, so guys definitely do follow
do subscribe to Gratefuls Substack
and if you, I'm not that consistent but I'm pretty consistent too
so the Extra Mile newsletter I think if you like branding, creativity, I think you might like it for sure.
Pin it up.
And we have like two minutes before other space starts.
So Squiddy, go ahead, shill the space that you are hosting on Monday because you have legendary guest, guys.
We hosted that guest here too, and we are really proud of that.
So go ahead, Squiddy.
Oh, yeah. So again, this isn't even the Gaming here, too, and we are really proud of that. So go ahead, Squiddy. Oh, yeah.
So, again, this isn't even the Gaming Ape Show, which is still happening on Monday.
That's the first space of the week for me.
The second, Mythical Mondays.
You guys know I'm a company man now, too.
You know, Mythical Games, shouting out.
You guys are hearing it first.
Our community legend this week is none other than Mr. Grateful Ape, my favorite space.
We love the Grateful Show.
We're going to have our Lyndon's Corner as well.
So that's bringing our CEO on board to tap in with the community.
So we'll have Lyndon's Corner, and then we're going to have our community legend of the show, which is Grateful.
And there's no better community legends with what he's built here
and you tino and the rest of the grateful show with this community it's unbelievable i'm so
happy to be a part of it i don't know why they keep letting me up on stage anytime i want to
come up on stage but i'm not going to ask questions we're going to keep rocking with it
grateful i love you i appreciate you being uh my professional guest we're gonna be
super serious and professional i love it man yeah i'm professional gamer too so uh it's gonna be
very very professional space man and the substack locked in somnia i got i still gotta get involved

it monday's gonna be great and can't wait to have you as an official mythical community legend
i can't wait man i can't wait guys i'm gonna have you do my job i'm just gonna have you host it i know right and you gotta get
paid yeah i'm gonna get paid for it man this is the best stuff when i get my job is complete when
i get people more interesting more exciting than myself uh start talking and if i can facilitate
those conversations i've done a good job in my head.
Love that, man.
You are also consistent. And I love the gaming show.
Gaming Ape Show!
Because you've been hosting for like 2 million episodes already, right?
So it's crazy, bro.
Yeah, we're getting close to 2 million.
We were going to do something fun.
But I think the 2 millionth episode is going to be when the Fisters go live.
Let's go, man.
You definitely have to come.
We have so many legends here in the audience.
I can name all of you guys.
I will try to always pick a few of you
because it's very hard,
but I see Caesar,
Abe Whale, the legend,
you know, Abe Games, guys.
Definitely check Abe Games
because claim your badge on another page.
Betteet288.
Oh my God.
I know he's been cooking in the other side.
It's going to be crazy. I can't wait to come there and visit um you can actually drink on the other side bro it doesn't count on
drinking alcohol i know i'll do that man man they're gonna they're gonna ban us too
i'll be drunk as hell they'll prince you know and so on and so on. This is always tricky.
We need to have some AI that will read all of people listening
because such a legend here in the audience.
But, you know, I think this is it.
Outer Space already live.
Guys, go there.
