I'm free in your life
GM GM I'm in my life. I'm in my life.
GM, GM, what is good, everybody?
And happy Mutant Monday to each and every one of you.
Hope you're doing very well on this glorious Monday. Thank you so much for tuning in to Mutant Monday with the cartel.
And we are ready to kick things off.
I hope you are all excited.
For those who do not know, I am your resident Vanguard,
one of our co-hosts today for Mutant Monday with the cartel.
And as always, we have an amazing spaces here lined up for today. And I'm going to kick it on over to our fellow co-hosts.
First and foremost, the shiniest crown in the swamp.
Leader of the cartel.
Co-founder of Novel Labs.
Novel Labs.
The one and only.
And happy Mutant Monday.
GM Vanguard and happy Mutant Monday to yourself. GM Vanguard and happy Mutant Monday to yourself.
Loving a bit of Jim Morrison to kick the show off.
Have all the guests arrived in the building?
Can you confirm that? And then I'm happy to kick on.
Well, at this stage, everyone, and thank you all for joining us.
It looks like everyone's filing in and taking their seats.
First and foremost, everyone get yourself comfortable.
We have a great one lined up for today.
We, of course, first and foremost, are joined, as always, by the one and only Stella and Leo, GM,
to the both of you, as always, our fellow co-hosts for Muted Monday with the Cartel.
We also have up on stage, and we will be getting to these
two legends who absolutely need no introduction from ApeCoin. And we also have, we'll be speaking
with Holder and NGB Shpend here in a moment. But we are uh awaiting the arrival of the one and only leonidas here too so
let us go ahead and make sure we have that uh set up and lined up here um ready to go um but duke
if you want to kick us off here for today's spaces um feel free to do that and we'll sort it out on
the other side sure um well i mean i i'd like to give, I'll buy some time to wait for Leonidas to obviously join the show.
But for everyone else joining today, welcome to Meet Mondays.
This is a show where we talk about me and Cartel Worlds, The Other Side and all things Mutants.
all things Mutant. So we do have a slightly different show on the cards today. For one,
So we do have a slightly different show on the cards today.
I'll be commandeering the mic alongside, as Vanguard just mentioned, the usual faces and
hosts of Mutant Monday to include good self, Mr Vanguard there, our very own Leo, not to
be confused with today's guest, and the Mutant cartel's latest Stella. So we'll also have the folks from H&M join us slightly later in the show.
Welcome to Lost and Ben.
But first, this is why I probably just want to give a little bit of time.
I might just wait a couple of minutes before we kick on a show dedicated to a man
that we're still awaiting the
arrival ah i see him in the crowd now i'm here i think if you're referring to me i don't know if you
are i am i am indeed i indeed um good timing great timing um so indeed we're here today and i was just going to flush the stage a little
bit before you're before you join us so this last week on crypto twitter has been a light with a
shower of ruin stones crashing into you go up to the side i think uh we're now well over 500 individual
voyagers that is that have made the trip and today we're going to be talking about what that means and how to get involved.
So I'm talking specifically about the arrival of 3D Ruinstone voyages via Terminus and the
bridging of Bitcoin to Ape Chain.
So let's get into it today.
Joined by the founder of Ruinstone's dog token and all-round ordinals guru, Leonidas.
Leonidas, welcome to the show.
Hey, what's up, man? I'm excited for this.
There's a bunch of Runestone holders and Dog Army that are excited to figure this out and do this.
It's actually super easy, so that's the great part.
But we'll kind of walk everybody through today what to do and then i'm excited for the actual uh meet up in the the other side dude
after this i'm like i think that's going to be really fun so hopefully we can get some people to
come through can we quickly get the space title updated just so that like runestone holders know what this is and understand what it is yeah i think because we posted it uh previously it was a little bit of an editing problem but
stella if you whilst we're doing this if you're able to um look at doing that uh if not we'll
definitely get it um optimally updated yeah you can tap there's a little edit button next to the title and you
can just tap it and edit and change it anytime sure oh that sounds very simple stella v if you're
able to do that um i'm remote here at the time and then we'll just kick on with stuff so whilst
we're doing that i think what would be great um today's show really is that convergence of two tries, Bitcoin,
HN, and like you say, we'll be handholding people through the process of joining the other side.
But for those that are unfamiliar with the story of Ruinstones and its vision,
could you dive into just a little bit its origins and what it's all about?
Yeah. So starting back in Januaryuary this is january 2024 so this is
now a project that's a couple years old um we saw that runes were about to happen there was a bunch
of people in the ordinal space who essentially came together it's true like i tweeted out the
idea but ultimately this was a fully volunteer initiative. A bunch of people participated, contributed funds for the airdrop
fees. It was the largest airdrop in Bitcoin's history, contributed their kind of engineering
resources and time to make this come to life. And what we basically did was an open source algorithm that we debated very heavily in a discord for like a couple of weeks, which was the goal was like we just want to airdrop to the year one ordinals supporters.
Right. Everyone who supported ordinals in the early days, we wanted to receive a runestone.
And it was very special in that most airdrops, as you guys know, which makes sense in most cases, you'll reward certain people more than
others, right? We had this different philosophy where we were like, let's just give one runestone
to every person, right? And then this runestone, which is a Bitcoin ordinal, will basically be
airdropped a rune token, which obviously is a dog, a couple months later when the runes protocol
actually goes live. So it was a pre-runes project.
And what was very unique about it was that 100% of the supply was airdropped to the Ordinal's
ecosystem, right?
There was no team.
There was no team supply.
This was not meant to be a project where we're going to hire a bunch of people and do marketing
and do engineering and do this sort of stuff, which there's nothing wrong with that.
We were just taking this very different, more kind of Bitcoin type philosophy where it's
just no team, full decentralization, open source.
It's a CC zero project.
And ultimately trying this kind of radical experiment of let's just see how much value we can airdrop to ourselves to this, you know, over 100,000 people who are supporting ordinals.
Let's see how much value we can airdrop to ourselves by just organizing for free and volunteering our time and energy to doing this, right?
There's no cost, really, except for the on-chain airdrop fees and the engineering efforts. So people volunteered all of that. And then we ended up
airdropping RuneStone and it was very successful. We ultimately airdropped over $1.1 billion
to the space and over 100,000 people received RuneStone. And it's just been a really cool
couple of years. Obviously, DOG is kind of like part of this now too, and it's just been a really cool couple of years um obviously dog is
kind of like part of this now too and it's continuing to evolve i absolutely love when
when people come to me and tell me they we built this like thing for runestone and it's like
i don't know i love what you guys are doing here um i'm i'm a kind of nerd and i tweeted a lot
about the metaverse in 2021 people can go look back at my tweets i kind of nerd out on this stuff i like you know snow crash and uh just like i i like the
whole i like the whole thing i drink the kool-aid on all of this so i'm excited to actually go in
there in a minute but um yeah that's pretty much the start uh it was it was this kind of community
driven grassroots thing we airdropped a ton of value to ourselves and
we're still here kicking kicking it and it's the free and fair movement is what we call it
i love that uh i love that well i mean it's a radical experiment that paid off i guess and um
i i like that you you have these you sort of stuck to these core principles of Bitcoin and this egalitarian sort of vision of sort of a fair drop.
I think if we were to go a little bit further
and before the ordinals and perhaps without uncloaking
the mythology that is Leonidas,
can you tell us some of the, especially the new audience,
about your personal journey into Bitcoin
and the reason even going back before why
we're in soins why dog like what what's your what was your driver into this space
i'll try to keep this short so that i'm not talking too long here but so so i i uh trying
to remember i was in high school and my teacher told us about Bitcoin.
This was in 2013.
So then I kind of went and investigated a little bit.
The price was pretty high at the time.
I waited a year.
The price went down.
So then I bought a couple of Bitcoin.
I was like a freshman in college at the time and got into Bitcoin mining.
So mined a little Bitcoin and yeah, basically just
kind of got every year progressively more and more into Bitcoin and crypto. I always forget
exactly what I share publicly, but yeah, got really involved in crypto over time. Yeah, I got really involved in crypto over time.
Yeah, ultimately started collecting NFTs.
So this project called CryptoKitties came out in 2017.
And I was just like having fun playing this game.
Didn't really fully understand NFTs.
It was a very new thing.
The term NFT was literally invented like a couple weeks before.
And yeah, that got me into NFTs. And then I think 2021, I got like really, really 2020 actually,
I got really into NFT collecting. And yeah, like many of you guys know that that year was pretty crazy. 2021, you got Board club all of this and during that i started collecting
these early county counterparty nfts like the the rare pepes the spells of genesis cards these are
these early 2014 2015 nfts so i was i was very into collecting old and historical nfts and kind
of researching and studying uh older projects right and through that i already had this thesis
of like you can can collect NFTs on
Bitcoin, whereas most people didn't have that, right? You kind of have to, you got, you kind of
got to hold somebody's hand who's just didn't, you know, if it's 2021, we don't have this multi-chain
world of NFTs yet. People really are just like only going to ever hold on ETH. And I already had
kind of gone through that process. So when I met Casey in, I think, summer of 2022, he was pitching this crazy idea of,
hey, I figured out, Leonidas, how to number Satoshis, which is the little tiniest piece
of a Bitcoin.
It's called a Satoshi.
And he figured out a way to assign every single one a unique number and track it and track
its provenance through its history on the Bitcoin
blockchain. And there's, you know, like 2.1 quadrillion of these things. So it's kind of
crazy that he figured out how to do this. That is called the ordinals protocol. Those are actually
technically called ordinals. I thought this was cool. Had them on a Twitter space. We talked about
how you could collect these rare Satoshis uh you could collect certain numbers
that look pretty these sort of things you can collect old ones maybe the 2009 ones are interesting
and that all obviously ended up becoming a thing i think for it to really stick he had to come out
with the inscription part which is the the on-chain file attached to the satoshi for the ownership
and when he did that everything just took off right um the protocol
went live in 2022 i uh just got lucky meeting casey and knowing what he was building early so
just happened to be there and then i guess the rest was history i just uh thought it was like
really neat and casey you know if you talk to him he's an incredibly intelligent individual
and it was kind of hard not to be bullish on the space a true veteran and by the sounds of it a proper
a real a real collector in the sense of the in the true sense of the word and I think
what you touched on there with with ordinals and the protocol i really do believe if you're looking
for technical innovation in its true sense that really is the frontier but
with the pleasantries done we are here to talk about the other side so and we're here to talk
about how ruin stones can journey into the other side so let's bring Vanguard Vanguard if
you want to come up onto the stage and let's get straight into how we can get in there what people
should expect appreciate there's going to be some handholding uh for people looking to cross over
and how to use the terminus bridge which is something that novel productions has come up with as a way
to it's a bit of a storytelling introduction as well but a way to bridge uh bitcoin and multi-chain
collections into the other side so v if you're happy to take it away yeah certainly appreciate
that um and uh what's up everybody again real quick just to set the stage for everyone the first of the shared posts at the top of the spaces today uh we're here at mutant monday
runestones in the other side we're joined by leonidas um as well as some of the ape chain
team here for our spaces feel free to repost the spaces here engage with it send a comment you know
let everyone out in the space know what we have going on it's the first of the shared post at the
top of the spaces.
But to get things started, everyone, and the reason why we're here, look,
runestones have crossed on through to the other side.
This is a celebration in and of itself.
Think about the trajectory that has gone on with what Leonidas just told us here on the audience about the origins of the Ordnose Protocol.
And now, because of that, we have the opportunity here through Novel Productions and Terminus
to bring that collection to the other side.
And you have a playable Voyager that is live right now.
And of course, we've seen some of you there, but we want to help everyone out to get themselves there as well, too.
So if you would be so kind as to check some of the posts
that are shared to the top of the spaces, ladies and gentlemen,
first and foremost, how you're going to get there,
again, is through our vehicle called Terminus.
Please feel free to check out this third of the shared post
at the top of Mutant Monday spaces here,
and you will see a walkthrough of how to do that.
For a quick TLDR, everyone, you will connect the wallet that holds your RuneStone,
aka your Ordinal wallet with the shorter, of course, for those who are aware,
the shorter of the two addresses between your Bitcoin or your Ordinal wallet.
You will connect that.
You will also connect an EVM wallet.
That Ethereum wallet that you connect will be where your RuneStone soul-bound Voyager will land, if that makes sense. It needs to live
on the EVM chain, for example, for those who are curious about the technicals.
And this first video here, which is the third of the share post on top of the spaces again,
shows you exactly how to go through that process. Feel free to consume that. And better yet,
if you're a multitasker, feel free to do it while on the spaces here too, while consuming as well.
I think that'd be wise, especially if you want to join us after the space is here, actually on the other side.
Then flipping on over to the newest of the shared posts,
Lee Dev from Yuga Labs, the one and only James Hall,
has shared a step-by-step walkthrough on how to create what's called a Glyph wallet.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is absolutely imperative that you create this Glyph wallet.
This is where you're going to connect that same EVM wallet
that you minted your soulbound Rune Stone Voyager to.
I hope everyone's still kind of with me here,
and I'm not losing everyone into details or tall grass or whatever with a short snout.
But as long as everyone's here with
me we can go ahead and move forward and now the final one so first of all mint your runestone
voyager by connecting your wallets create a glyph account and connect that evm wallet you do not
need to connect the bit the ordinal wallet just the evm wallet that you minted the runestone to
and finally you can go ahead and take a look at the
comment from at novel productions one of the comments here to the spaces itself i'll go ahead
and share this to the top of these spaces right now and this here is an actual footage of a voyager
stepping foot a runestone voyager stepping foot into the other side now in the newest the shared
spaces so for all of our audience here feel free to consume these newest of the three posts to the top,
and this will be your guide. And as Leonidas had mentioned here, everyone, it's a super easy
process. At first, maybe my two, three minute explanation might sound a little daunting.
It's not at all. It becomes second nature, just like you were signing a transaction on the
blockchain. And please keep in mind, everyone,
if this is your first time joining the other side,
you're going to go through a cinematic experience
for your onboarding that could take roughly
three to four or five minutes potentially.
But feel free to consume that and enjoy that process
because it definitely, it's worth it, right?
And you don't want to just click through
and go too fast through it.
And everyone here, just so we're clear, we're going to be heading on over to the other side immediately after this space is, right?
So we suggest you go through the motions, you get there, and we want you to be there.
We want you to show off your runestone like you just got it for the first time.
Or if you have any other collection that's there too, we're here to celebrate the runestones, but anyone is welcome to join us today.
Even if you don't have an nft you can still go connect to create a glyph wallet
account hop on to the other side uh the official website otherside.xyz we'll get that we'll get a
link officially posted to the top and we're going to be there and we are we want to see everyone
there and we're going to be running a giveaway as well too and we'll explain a little bit more
about that and in case anyone has any questions i'm going to send it right back on over to you
duke if anyone has any questions that's in the audience feel free to post them in the comments
or if we have some opportunity later on we will get some more of our audience up on stage to kind
of float some of those out yeah i appreciate it and i'll give way to leidas in a sec, but just to add to that, there is a support ticket ready on the site also for those that do encounter technical difficulties.
But the quickest way to probably get an answer to get on hand help is to jump into our Mian Cartel Discord, raise your ticket, ask people, and they'll be there to help.
be there to help in terms of wallet compatibility it's compatible with xverse okx unisat and magic
eden as vanguard mentioned this is sold bound to your ordinal so it is non-tradable it is also
recallable to the wallet that you designate as long as you hold the ordinal um so yeah just a couple of
things there if you're encountering problems raise the ticket jump in mean cartel world discord
um it's it's pretty straightforward but um but we're here to help yep leonidas
let's see you got a hand raised yes i have a question uh so if we create a bubble which is like
is there a way to like share a bubble link to people in the chat to skip past the nexus thing
the only reason i say this i it took me like 15 minutes to get through the nexus
um which was fun i just know it might might be kind of challenging to get everyone through that,
especially when we're trying to get them through the process of claiming as well.
And I just want people to be able to kind of join in.
So is that a possibility that we create a bubble and share a link or something that we can all click?
all quick sad excuse me what's going on man sadly they would still we do have the feature to create
Excuse me.
What's going on, man?
the link to generate to like direct people directly into the bubble but they would still
need to go through the cinematic and the intro if they have not yet on that uh wallet address so
if they haven't i would say guys go ahead hop in uh 8-bit knock that out quickly we're here if you
have any questions don't hesitate to ask uh like you said should take you 10-15 minutes maybe five if you try to put a little little
speed on it um bro you guys are underestimating that was a little bit of a challenging intro it
was fun i liked it a lot actually but i mean you know five minutes would be quite a impressive
speed run of that intro you're talking to a room full of DGENs, my guy.
Time does not exist like windows in a casino.
But NGB, appreciate that too.
And certainly, we're going to, and for everyone who's curious too,
we're going to be cracking on with a bubble, an open air bubble,
everyone to have the ability to roam freely there.
And we'll be adding here like a link to it to the bottom.
But yes, indeed, as was indicated here here you will need to go through that process so again if you have
the ability to multitask um we greatly suggest you do that here while we're on the spaces and
then we're going to be taken on over um to the other side following this um but yeah duke you
want to um take back over here yeah sure uh i think maybe this is your 15 minute warning. I don't want to encourage people to hop off of this space at all. So keep it open. And like you say, demonstrate some multitasking.
But I think it's probably closer towards 10 minutes. I think give yourself 10 minutes. The bubble will still be there on the other side. No pun intended there.
bubble will still be there on the other side um no pun intended there um but another question
whilst we see you and iris um there's some sometimes some tribalism between
bitcoin ordinals and nfts and i just want to get your take on where where that resistance that resistance stems from and
the opportunity that you see in connecting chains um i mean i think tribalism is like
a human thing i think it's very normal i don't necessarily think it's bad um i just think it
means like you have a community and inherently a community is going to
be there's going to be a little bit of tribalism um but as far as like connecting chains no i mean
i think this is awesome i think this is like really cool to be able to basically like fundamentally
to explain what you guys built right there's a website you can go to, right? So everybody should
be going to this right now. Okay. Wink, wink, hint, hint, guys, like go to the website and connect
and you'll basically be able to claim this runestone. That's what this is about, right?
Like these guys built novel, built this bridge, essentially, I don't, I guess you would call it
a bridge. You don't have to move anything off of ordinals or anything,
but you're basically just doing the in your Xverse, guys.
You're going to connect your Xverse, and it's going to say,
I want to just sign proving ownership, right?
It's like the basic thing that you sign when you log into Magic Eden,
and it's going to prove that you own a runestone, okay?
So not anyone can just go here and do this.
You have to actually have a runestone in your wallet, right?
And then you're going to connect an Ethereum wallet.
This could literally just be an empty Ethereum wallet if you want to right now that has like
two or three dollars in it of Ethereum.
And then you'll basically connect those two things and just click through a couple things.
And it will mint this, I believe it's a soul bound avatar that they created of a runestone avatar on, I believe it's on Ethereum.
And then that token that's soul-bound to your now Ethereum wallet is what you can connect to the other side.
So the reason the other side is cool is because there's obviously like multiplayer video games that already exist.
So the reason the other side is cool is because there's obviously like multiplayer video games that already exist.
This one allows you to basically do what we've all kind of dreamed of, which is you sign in with your wallet.
So you can just sign in with you guys have a Phantom or a Meta Master or whatever, an Ethereum wallet.
You sign in and then you just say, oh, you know, I want to now have this NFT that I hold as my avatar.
And you can walk around the metaverse, walk around the video game in your runestone avatar.
And the reason it's cool is because you're cryptographically proving through a signature
such that if somebody sees you in the other side with this runestone, you are a verified
runestone holder, right? This
is what Twitter tried to do for like a month with our PFPs on Twitter and then rugged us.
But I think it's really important that you actually prove that you hold the thing. That's
kind of the point of all of this, right? Of like a PFP or all this, right? So you're walking around
the other side, you see somebody with a board API, y'all club ape, right? You know, they're legit, because it's cryptographically proven
that they held a board ape, right? Which is kind of cool. And you can get special access. And this
is like early days. So maybe you hold a board ape, you have access to walk into this clubhouse,
right? I don't hold a bored ape. So
I'm sitting at the door, running into the door over and over because it won't let me in, right?
So they have a secret club and I can't get in because I don't hold a ape, right? So runestone,
maybe we can do something like that where we have our own clubhouse someday. Maybe we can do a
scavenger hunt where we hide runestones and dog tokens all around the other side and go like there's infinite possibilities here.
Right. So the bottom line is it's a video game tied to a crypto wallet, which allows you to do cool things. where instead of having some like overlord dystopian metaverse,
which if you read any of this stuff, most of them are,
you actually get to have sovereignty over the assets.
You get to actually own your identity in the metaverse.
When you collect an item in a game,
you can actually literally own it the same way you own Bitcoin.
That's pretty powerful because otherwise there's some centralized company that can just rug you at any time. Okay. So that's a
little bit of backdrop here. I think this is not an ordnance or an Ethereum thing. This is like,
you know, crypto is awesome thing. And the actual blockchain it's on, you know, is cool. And there's
a culture there, but ultimately we should all be kind of on board
with this. And now the other side is fundamentally integrated with Bitcoin for the first time,
which is fucking awesome. Great work, everybody. And yeah, I don't think it's a tribal thing
necessarily. I think there is tribalism, but I think this is a come together moment that should be exciting for everyone.
So if you haven't already, go, you know, go to like it's pinned above guys, novel productions.
You basically just go, go to their website, tap the runestone.
It's productions.novelabs.xyz.
And then you just connect, connect the MetaMask, connect your expert that has a runestone.
And then you just sign on both sides.
And it takes about a minute, one minute you can do this.
And you can claim this is not a thing to make money.
The purpose of this is not like, hey, it's going to be this big airdrop and you make a bunch of money.
It's the actual utility of being able to run around and basically be one of the very first early adopters. I think there'll be billions of people using the same sort of tech in the future inside of some sort
of multiplayer metaverse environment. And you get to be an early adopter, basically play around with
the tech. So that's the situation. And, you know, if you're listening to this in like 15 or 20 minutes
or so, we're actually going to go over and hang out in there. And want everyone to be able to you know everybody dog army brunestone holders who are listening
just be going through this process while you're talking like you know halfway listen to us and
halfway go go play this nexus thing and uh we'll be able to hang out in there in a little bit
amazing response um amazing response and i i agree i I don't think tribalism is always a bad thing. It's multi-identity, it's strength and identity. And this is really a celebration of that convergence. verifiably they're verifiable ambassadors of the nfts they represent wandering around interacting
the other side they make them a little bit more real and that's what this is all about and again
this is still very nascent this is building the scaffolding is up and building around us and it's
already really really strong and really powerful and it's been built and is being built by the other side team,
especially with the recent acquisition of the
of the technical team from Improbable.
It can only go from strength to strength.
And I think bringing onboarding more chains
is something where we really wanted to double down on.
And, you know, Bitcoin's always been close to our
close to our home close to our hearts even and um you know next week we'll also actually be
bringing on solana so we're here to bring multi-chains together um i think it'd be good to
get some of the eight chain team up and say just to really see what their get their take on how i guess this the
other side what it offers for for a multi-chain community um whether it's what they say whether
they see this as meeting ground of of all chains um you know a sort of agnostic chain world um
chain world um yeah it'd be good to get your guys take
yeah it'd be good to get your guys take
yeah i would i would love to hop in here um what's going on guys i'm ben from the apeco community
team uh you know i've been around the club since day one it's been an incredible ride and you know
now doing the good work uh for our amazing ape chain builders across the ecosystem i think to
your point about you, the other side being
a place where, you know, multi-chain communities can live and thrive, I think that's been one of
our core visions for Other Side. Like, Figgy has been caught on spaces, on the timeline, you know,
sharing the mindset that the Other Side is a place where every community can win. Of course, you know,
it runs on Ape Chain, and there's some of the more technical back-end things
that, you know, you may need to do,
which big shout-out to the Mutant Cartel
for, you know, introducing Turn to Miss,
making that process more streamlined
and easier for the user,
which then, you know, all in all,
makes it easier for communities
to get onboarded into other side.
And, yeah, we feel like it doesn't matter if you're from Bitcoin,
if you're from Ape Chain, if you're from ETH,
if you're from Salona, if you're from anywhere, Cardano.
If you have a community that's eager and rally around an IP,
a character, something that you can turn into an avatar,
maybe even turn into an experience, the other side is the place for you.
Right now, it acts as a social hub.
So, you know, really, it's kind of taking the next step of what we're doing every day
on Twitter, right?
Like, we love Twitter spaces.
Everyone up here has probably been on hundreds of Twitter spaces.
What Bubbles does is, I think it gives you that next level connectivity with your audience where,
yeah, of course, you're having the same conversation as you're having on Twitter,
except in the digital world where people are representing themselves through the IP that you created,
through IP that other artists have created.
You know, you can see the more like the live interactions.
You could say something and you know
here we have the hand emotes we have the hearts we have the pound sign we have all this stuff
in the other side you have the actual emotes right people can do backflips people can twerk
people can have reactions to things and I think it just creates a more high fidelity experience
for any community right it doesn't matter if you're on bitcoin doesn't matter if you're on
ethereum it doesn't matter if you're native to, doesn't matter if you're on Ethereum, it doesn't matter if you're native to Ape Chain. As long as you can get your avatar in there and
active, there's a lot of things for your community to do. Whether that's the games being hosted by
other games, by ApeCo officially, or the actual in-game events like the Challenge Islands,
the Kodakam event that we have with Blackbeardards Bounty. There's a wide variety of things that you can direct your community to and activate them around.
And it's all still so very, very early.
You know, this year, I think we're going to see other side really wake up more native features, more third party features, more everything kind of coming to life there.
And I think that will just emphasize that point of, you know,
it being a home for any community. And we're here to help support that. So, you know, if you do have a community that you're looking to bring on to other side, and you have any questions, whether
it's the models, whether it's, you know, after you're live, where do we go? What, you know,
where are the events? How do we get this? The Ape Code door is always open. So don't hesitate to
reach out to myself, Lost.
And yeah, I think I've been very bullish on other sites since day one. I was lucky enough to be
in the war rooms when the gas was going crazy, and to see us go from that day to what we are now,
like an actual digital hub, a social experience for hundreds of communities and collections,
it's incredible. I think it's what we've always wanted, and it's still in its early steps. hub, a social experience for hundreds of communities and collections. It's, you know,
it's incredible. I think it's, it's what we've always wanted and it's still in this early step.
So super excited. I wasn't sure. I wasn't sure if someone was going to call or if I should just
jump in, but yeah, I'm lost. I think some of you guys might be familiar with me. It's super
exciting to be up here with you guys. Honored to work with Spend. Every day has obviously been a fucking leader in this community since I fucking joined. So I'm
excited to be here every day. And shout out to this audience. I'm looking through the crowd. I
see all the mutants, the Bitcoin and the Ordinals communities, the Ape Chain community, seeing them
all here together in the same room. This is part of the dream, right? This is part of what we're
doing. This room, this space, this audience is almost exactly part of the vision. And just going back to the question, shared interest, the world who are even interested, curious, aware of cryptocurrency or NFTs or blockchain at all.
So even just in that, we have some level of shared interest.
And does the tribalism exist across communities or blockchain?
Sure, people are competitive.
And NFTs almost add another layer to this where immediately I can identify other people with
similar traits and possibly those people have a similar and deeper shared interest.
Spend is part of the Cheetah Gang here and he's been a part of that gang for four years.
And they get together and they meet up at ApeFest.
They got their own Cheetah Gang things, running things going on.
They got their own chats.
They got their own interests, basically.
And it's the same thing with me, like the black hat that I have on that has the merch hat.
There's a group of Bored Apes that have merch. And that group is almost like an entrepreneurial
group. They're especially interested in the IP. It's like you have these traits almost that you
can immediately spot and identify people that maybe they do have that deeper and shared interest
that if they're a collector and they picked up something that
they feel that they identify with. And I have to say it, I guess even the orange background,
like I've been around in the blockchain space for a while. So even just having that orange
background, it's like, you know, the fucking vibes, like we got Bitcoin baked right into the
background there. And there's 100% an orange background club.
There's aquamarine club.
We got Leo up here.
So I'm not going to go too tribal on you.
But if you're an ape, you 100% know it.
Even within the club.
Oh, yeah, you see them.
You already know.
I could do it.
I won't do it.
But you know what the vibe is with the inner club tribalism.
And I would just say, like, just to wrap it up,
like we've come a long way, I guess,
towards this idea of having like a universal profile and and and being recognizable via your pfp and and your
screen name across all these different platforms and as a gamer that was one of the things that
always excited me about this space I was like super sold on the vision of Decentraland in 2017
I was going to be sitting at my computer in my house walking into the to the grocery store with
my pfp and my guild was going to be there with me and and recognize me and they're going to see me sitting at my computer in my house, walking into the grocery store with my PFP
and my guild was going to be there with me
and recognize me
and they're going to see me buying chicken
and the chicken was going to come
and be ordered in Decentraland
and come to my house.
I'm a believer.
And so to be here and part of the team
that's helping to push other side forward now,
like, yeah, I'm bullish.
And yeah, I think we all have a level of shared interest
even just to be here here i love that and i think that i think that belief is quite rapidly becoming a reality um
and a shout out also to ben for um proper og was right back with the cartel from day one and
helping us as one of the original architects so a lot of love there now I know NFC communities or no community crypto communities
are not known particularly for their patients so I'm keen to jump ahead let's get us into the other
side before we do that let's open this up I want to open this up to questions from the audience
and give also maybe just before that any final this is this show is supposed to sort of we like to
part ourselves on sharing some alpha or giving the chance to share some alpha so
leonidas if you have anything you want to share that's going on with ruin zones in addition to
this or dog or any other predictions projects any parting words before we open it up to the audience
and get into the other side oh i mean one thing i'll say it's kind of a fun tidbit runestone is
3d for the reason that the other side is 3d i think it's the future sort of like visual layer
for computers is going to be these 3d better spaces. And it's kind of built in for the future where,
yeah, we're looking at 2D screens today, but I think in the future, you know, I'm talking,
it may take decades. I have no idea, but I think everyone will be in these 3D interfaces and
you're going to want to view your art. It'll be kind of weird and skeuomorphic to like view,
to have like 2D digital art in a world where, you know, you have 3D space.
I think most art will actually become 3D in the, sorry, digital art will become 3D,
which is kind of cool. And that's why Runestone is on Bitcoin. It's a GLTF file. And you can view
it on org.io. You can view it on Explorers and actually see that it's a 3D asset and you can
kind of spin it around and look at different angles of it.
And that's specifically for the purpose of like being built for a future metaverse world.
So fun fact for RuneStoon holders who might not know that.
As far as exciting things, I mean, you know, Dog's roadmap is Dog Go to the Moon.
So we're continuing on our journey.
We made a pit stop at McDonald's, but then we're heading straight back to the moon is the goal.
And yeah, look, guys, get in the other side here.
I'm hanging out.
There's a bunch of people.
If you have gone through the portal, basically, can somebody walk through how to actually put on the avatar that they just claimed?
How do you do that inside
the game yeah yeah hey i'll take over sorry if it's clicked it's at the end of the clip that was
uh post pinned at the top of the thread um but yeah you jump in
yeah and thanks for asking that sorry to cut anyone off um it's actually shared to the top
of the spaces so second to the last post here from the actual novel productions account um
at novel underscore products in the comments to this um spaces everyone you'll see how to do it
you just kind of click the little key that allows you to pick um which um avatar you want to use
for example um and everyone here just so we're clear on this, ladies and gentlemen, we have begun these spaces, excuse me, the bubble here in the nexus on the other side right now.
So again, for everyone who's been listening to us, we have been kind of suggesting to you to
potentially multitask if you have the capabilities to do that. We greatly appreciate it. Feel free
to run through it right now. Literally literally your last call was a few minutes ago
well here's your like dgen's last call okay and we promise this is it we're there right now you're
gonna see myself everyone um uh i go by vanguard uh vngrdx for example is my name on the other side
you also see a fellow co-host of our spaces here uh leo is here and he's actually a co-host of the bubble right now lost if you'd be so kind
i'm actually going to throw you up too as well too we'd love to have you i see you there um in
the smoky jacket also a fellow merch ape as well too so if anyone's around i'm actually obviously
on the audio here for the spaces everyone so if anyone's around feel free to just gather in the
main meeting spot for the nexus and we are there now. We want to see
everyone. And the beautiful thing, ladies and gentlemen, I'm already seeing some runestone
voyagers there as we speak. Let's get together and let's do this damn thing. So look, we have
a couple of folks that are coming up on stage, potentially have a few questions, maybe some
feedback, some comments. We do have a limited
amount of space up here on stage, but we would like to get a couple up here too. So with all
due respect, just depending on the quality or the content of your feedback or question that are
determined, whether you get to stick around on stage or not, because there's others that are
also requesting just with all due respect to everyone here and for the respect of everyone's
time. Plus we want to get on over to the other side um i believe i believe i may have this in
order and we're also going to meet um some new cart first-time cartelians um as well too so
ladies and gentlemen um on this note everyone and send a request if you're trying to get up here but
we're going to have to be very succinct with this uh first of all we have tuxedo um up on the stage. GM, happy Mewtwo Monday to you. How are you?
Hello, everyone.
I'm here to represent the dog community,
which is the fucking best community in the fucking world.
Now, I also want to say something to the people that want to join the other side.
I have joined this like a few months ago with Leo
where we were doing spaces.
I uninstalled the client, so I had to reinstall it.
So everyone should know that it's an 8-gigabyte file
that they have to reinstall.
That's why I'm still not in the other side.
But overall, the process is super easy.
I think that you used too many unknown words
and you might complicate things like brand names and whatnot.
It all comes down to two things.
You have your Xperts wallet and you have one EBM wallet.
You go to the website and it asks you to connect both.
Super easy.
It was seamless.
I'm ready.
I'm just waiting for the file to download.
And yeah, I'll see you on the other side
Um span go for it. I know what you're gonna say but go for it, bro
I assume you're gonna say the same thing, but thank you for joining us man
You can also load into other side via the streaming route so you don't need to download the client
You can play via a Google chrome browser and stream it should load
in in like a minute um client does give you like the best graphics the best experience so i mean
if you're already going there i would say that works but if you want to hop in asap uh google
chrome browser at other side that xyz can get you in within a minute bang bang that's why it is
imperative that we uh employ the each one teach one philosophy my guy
literally took the words right out of my mouth but i already knew what was coming appreciate that
um looks like we also had another individual that had requested to come up on stage
maybe we did or did not get you there um tuxedo appreciate you so much i'm gonna hop you on back
down um over to listening appreciate you so much for stepping up on stage here too in case you had
anything else feel free to drop it in the comments or catch us on the other side
We're gonna be chatting over there too. So good to go. Thank you so much for that
And at this stage to if nobody else wants to come up on stage
We're actually gonna get into a little segment here too
But ladies and gentlemen, I hope you're either going through the cinematic experience right now or you've already completed it
because I'm gonna let you in on a little something the
Over here on the other side, we have a bunch of people already there right now.
I'm already checking everybody out.
This is looking fantastic.
The bubble is live right now, ladies and gentlemen.
I'm going to be adding in a bunch of you here too.
So just bear with me as I am also trying to multitask throughout this process here.
But ladies and gentlemen, at this stage, and first and foremost, Leonidas, major, major
stuff here, a master class of both just the
history of this entire process and what this could potentially mean moving forward and i did not know
that about runestone so it was actually a great little tidbit of information that you shared with
us here too so if anyone's joining us a little late or whatever this is recorded go ahead and
listen back to the entire spaces here too because there's some key information that you're going to want to know for example and also at this stage too we are going to get the opportunity to learn of some new individuals
who have are new to our space new to the cartel for example of course the host of our spaces
here on a mute to monday we do get together every monday 2 p.m eastern at the same time
and we've been gracious enough to
have Leonidas joining us as our host today. Leonidas, before we get into learning more about
some of our new members here too that have joined us up on stage, did you have any final words you
would like to impart on our audience here potentially before we make it on to the other
side? Will we look forward to hearing from yourself and all of your runestone holders as well?
No, guys, I'm just hanging out.
I see, I think, like,
a nice handful of people joining here
on the other side.
And it's like, really,
just to reiterate one last time,
go basically to Novel Productions
and claim your runestone avatar.
Connect your X first wall,
connect your MetaMask.
Claim that.
Then go to the other side, and you're basically going to want to do the streaming option.
I think Tuxedo did the hardcore gamer option.
You can deal with that later.
Streamer option actually looks really good.
It's very responsive and not laggy like sometimes those games are.
So click the streaming option, and then get through this novel, sorry, this
term nexus thing. It's going to take you like a couple minutes, and then when you get into the
other side, put on your runestone head, put on your avatar, okay? So, those are all the steps to do
here. I know it's like, it takes a little time. I know if people are first-timers, it might take a
few minutes, but try to work your way
through that.
We're getting more and more people appearing here.
So come through.
We're going to hang out and I'm going to turn on voice and we're going to move over there
in a little bit when this space wraps up and start talking in the other side.
So come on over.
That's the kind of last time I'll say that.
So hopefully people understand what to do.
Look, ladies and gentlemen, when the leader of the Bitcoin brigade
tells you to do something,
you don't think about it.
You just fucking do it, okay?
Do you want to get kicked down to a pit
for not, you know what I mean,
listening to this here too?
But look, and not to take the platitudes
out of this here, ladies and gentlemen,
Leonize, thank you so much.
And look, as we speak,
this grouping here in the nexus
is continuing to boom up here to some awesome.
So get some of your emotes out here.
And we have our bubble live right now, these and gentlemen.
But without further ado, everyone, I wanted to, again, re-welcome to the Mutant Monday stage,
one of our fellow co-hosts as well, too, marketing lead for the Mutant Cartel, the one and only Stella.
GM, Stella, thank you so much for hanging with us.
Absolute legend in this space.
For those of you who may be interacting with her
for the first time today,
make sure you're giving her a follow.
But Stella, GM, how in the world are you?
And who are we going to be meeting today?
GM Vanguard, GM Duke Leonidas, and all the people from 8 Chain, Lost, Ben, Leo.
And first of all, I would like to give a big, big shout out to the one and only expert,
experienced member of the onboarding process, the Duchess, who is missing right now,
but she's having the best day. Happy birthday to her. She deserves to be here today and enjoying
her time. And today we are going to add a new section in the Mutant Monday spaces.
We would like to spotlight some of the new members of the Board Day Job Club here in the cartel.
And today we are joined by the speaker, the one, sorry, the one and Board Bay.
Welcome, ladies.
Hello. Hello. Hello. ladies hello hello hello hi thank you so much for joining us today um yes sorry go ahead
Sorry, can you hear me?
Yes, we can hear you clearly.
Okay, lovely.
Hi and hello to the Mutant Cartel and to Novel Productions.
It's been a great spaces.
Happy Mutant Monday.
Yeah, it's really good to hear from all of you.
It's been really interesting.
I haven't looked into Ordinal, so that's my next step actually um yeah just a bit about myself um in 2021 my family and I we were looking at Bitcoin
we were trading like with my sons and my older sons uh with my husband um and we had twins who
were 16 at the time and we heard about nfts and we started buying them on um
ethereum uh such as things like little lemons alien friends uh lazy lions for example those
sort of things and um we were we we loved board apes like that's what we first saw like everyone
loved board dates but we we were priced out then um so then my daughter who decided to create her own collection
because she was so inspired by what she was seeing because it was so new and different and
like we're all a bit nerdy to be honest in in my family um so she she designed her own collection
um and she hand drew uh every trait and she made like 47 which we minted for her on OpenSea of these like
gin bunnies and she hand drew every trait on these gin bunnies but I will hopefully
bring them to life one day but they are minted on OpenSea but I've got them hidden.
So that's where it all started for us and then wind forward now um we're excited we we we did manage to like get into um the the
macy's and now also a board ape my husband's got a board ape now which he's so proud of that so am
i like a bit jealous but um you know i have a macy which love. And so, but we're really happy to be part of the Mutant Cattle.
We found you, found Stella, found like, you know, Leo, Duchess, Vanguard and everyone.
And we was just so impressed with everything that you do and what you've created.
Then we've moved forward to into, we went to last week to the other side
event uh last wednesday which was epic uh we met james hall figgy uncle mac uh king skipper and so
many other cool legends that we could actually put a face to after like chatting to them in spaces
and all over the place it's so lovely to actually meet people in person. I've always been an artist myself.
I'm now full-time with three,
and I hand-paint 3D prints that my husband makes.
He creates and 3D prints them from 3D files,
and he also makes them up himself.
And I hand-paint them.
We're working on, like, three board dates and a gob at the moment.
They're quite tricky because it takes quite a long time.
Sorry, I'll have a breath.
Yes, I was going to say, wow, that's a lot.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks for coming and joining us.
I'm just giving you my whole story.
It's fine, it's fine.
We always want to know more
about every member.
Also, this is the first time
that I hear your voice.
So thank you so much.
No, you're welcome. Thank you for
having me. No, please.
Finally meeting
you. Also, I would like to hear
's voice as well. Thank you so much.
No, no, it's fine. She's quite shy. I know that she, just like me, we are not native
speakers of English. So thank you Bord Bay for joining us as well. Tell us a bit more. Tell us a bit about you and your well-trained journey.
Hello, GFM.
Happy Monday.
I'm very happy that I can be here.
And thanks a lot for the kids here.
Give the whole English, please.
My journey started at at Freire 25.
I met my husband.
He had a long napalm of the apes.
He had a lot of mutants and logos in the mob,
and he bore his ape.
So, our conversation topic
almost always connects with apes and ape chain.
I learned a lot of that,
and so I had to reach the space or to understand.
I read a lot about it and then I read myself.
In June last year, I wrote my book in October before the first thoughts were the music for me.
I started with Ollie.
June was the apes.
I can't even bring to be part of the community myself.
The latest present of the month I both much love apes and a fiend,
and long to love the community.
In February this year my name came and both my own youth and now and much more and long to love the community.
In February this year, my name came and bought my own unit.
And now, I'm not always part of the apes.
I couldn't be here yet.
Most of the people in the project community
and they believe in this project.
There are a lot of projects that fulfill this
and have potential for more,
but I believe with every cell of my body that the
apes are the OGs in the space.
2026 is the year of the apes.
Thank you so much for those words.
Thank you for coming.
Well, that was a brief story of you and we loved it.
Thank you so we loved it.
Thank you so much for coming.
And by the way, the bosses from the cocktail
have a present for you.
So please, ladies, send me your wallets.
And I'm going to pass the mic to Vanguard again.
Thank you so much for joining us.
Thanks, everyone. to vanguard again thank you so much for joining us thank you thanks everyone
amazing ladies thank you so much for being here um i really appreciate that and great to get some
insight into your stories and your journeys and one of the beautiful things about this space and
we always say this is everyone has such a custom unique journey that got them here um and i'm here
for all of it um and don't don't mind any background noise
um at this stage uh everyone that's just the other side of doing a little bit of talking here too let
me go to mute my mic ladies and gentlemen you can kind of see if you check the comments here
um for this spaces you'll see a post from my personal account um at vanguard x here on x
and uh we are gathering here i'm seeing at least I don't know, 100 or so folks, give or
take. I don't have, of course, my exact number here, but we are starting to formulate here right
in the middle. As soon as you get on, you're right there smack dab in the nexus, and we want you to
be there. Ladies and gentlemen, so come on down and join us. I'm already seeing a bunch of runestone voyagers. They are lit up and ready to
go. So ladies and gentlemen, again, if you didn't get the opportunity to check any of this stuff,
do it immediately so you can come on and join us. And we want to see you there. All of the steps are
up at the top. Leonidas also kind of went through each and every step here and maybe some language, some succinct language
that you may also be able to understand
and comprehend at that level.
Real quick, we also had someone else up on stage
and we're going to be, look, we're already there.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a couple of hosts
that are already going.
So join us, we're there and let's do the damn thing.
But real quick, and this is amazing.
Shvend, it looks like your M-A-Y-C equivalent
or a similar
excuse me not quite the exact same glasses is hanging here with us so not not a cheat either
but let's welcome to the mutant monday stage rare energy gm and happy mutant monday welcome
how are you gm gm thanks for the uh for the intro i just thought i'd just pop up and uh
say hello speaking to you guys in the dms as well as Stella. So amazing community you guys have put together here. I already see a lot of familiar faces
that I've interacted with so far and it's only been a week for me. I've been sitting on the
sidelines for a long time. I was priced out, but I've managed to get in. It's been an amazing
first week. So I just thought I'd pop up Say hello to everyone
Duke, I am extremely jealous
Of that ape bro
But this is where I've started
With that grin, I love the grins
So I'm definitely going to be trying to snap down
A few more, but I just thought I'd come up
Say hello, you guys could put a voice
To the ape
And I'm sure we'll be interacting,
a lot more in the future.
that's it rare.
You know what?
You passed the point of no return.
Once you're up on stage,
the expectation is set my guy,
appreciate that.
And you indeed have a sick mutant as well too.
So keep that in mind.
ladies and gentlemen,
we have just breached the one hour mark for this.
And again,
we know a DGN's attention span.
And of course,
time is always a fleeting industry. And the number one asset that we all have available is the time and
how we deploy it here for each and every one of our existences. So make sure you're doing something
you enjoy. And for us, we enjoy being on the other side. So go ahead and make your way over there,
otherside.xyz. Check out their official account at otherside meta. It's like everywhere here too,
and some of the comments, things of that nature, if you want to check it out. But we are there
right now. Get on over to the Nexus. As soon as you complete that cinematic, you're there. Or if
you just start out again, use a Chrome browser, do the streaming option. It's the second of the
two that show up. And you have opportunity to just meet us right there in the middle.
You'll see individuals like myself, Vanguard here.
We have Leo.
We have Shpend.
We got Lost.
We got a bunch of us here, a bunch of cartelians. I'm seeing a bunch of runestones hanging right here to Leonidas King.
I imagine as long as someone's not stealing your identity there,
that is your self.
How does it feel to be over there on the other side with the runestone, Leonidas?
Bro, it's really fun.
I genuinely like this a lot.
How do I talk?
When I tried this a few months ago, I think I held down a button to talk.
I'm kind of either an idiot or missing something.
I don't know how to actually hear you guys and talk.
So you should be able to hear us through the in-game audio do you not hear the in-game audio at all
i hear background noise i'm not i'm not in the bubble though i haven't joined it oh okay well
that's why yeah okay so you need to join the bubble and then you'll be able to hear us you
won't be able to hear us if you aren't in that bubble. You can also speak by pressing and holding C.
When you're outside of the bubble, yeah, you press and hold C. You let go of C.
There you go. I see you talking. I see you talking. I saw your waves.
When you're inside the bubble, though, you don't need to hold C. You just press it once,
and it'll enable your speak, and then you can press it again to turn it off.
So it's a little different inside the bubble than outside the bubble okay and last question how do i join the bubble there you go
that's that's what everybody needs you go ahead press t on your keyboard and then uh it should
be browse bubbles and then the vanguard bubble if you join that one we can give you a speaker
roll up here and you'll be able to speak in the bubble it's basically like twitter spaces and
other side perfect i should i
think i'm in i believe i'm in awesome yeah i'm gonna send you a speaker invite right now too i
just sent you the invite to the actual spaces itself too so oh yeah i got you right here too
um you're good to go um you well you know what for the sake of your reputation and because i do not
want to be kicked into the nether here i will go ahead and make a co-host of this here too
because we want to hear more from you.
The one and only Lee Oneidas joining us on Muted Monday
with the cartel absolute legend,
the leader of the Bitcoin Brigade.
Check him out, by the way.
And we need to go ahead and plug your show
as if, you know, I mean, for those who didn't know about it,
