i am one of your co-hosts for today your your resident vanguard as always, and I am joined on the stage by my fellow co-hosts and we have an amazing episode coming up for everybody today.
First and foremost, I'm going to kick it on over to Miss Stella GM and happy Mutant Monday to you. How is it going?
to you how is it going gmdm happy mutant monday to you too happy mutant monday to our other co-host
leo um yes we have a great spaces today and a great guest as well so gm everyone thanks for
joining us today indeed you are correct stella so glad to hear from you today stoked to be here with you
and of course as you mentioned there we are also joined by one of the best dressed merch mutants
in the entire collection our guy Leo GM bro happy mutant monday welcome how are you
GM GM I'm fantastic on this mutant monday and it is going to be a great full show.
I cannot wait to kick into this.
But yeah, man, having had a good weekend, a good week leading up to what's going to transpire here.
So very excited, very exciting for us and everything that we have going on,
and can't wait to dive into the rest of the goodies.
Indeed, my guy look in case we all needed
a reason to understand in our lives what we can be thankful for and the things that we can enjoy
we're going to go ahead and realize in this space what it is we can be extremely grateful for because
on today's episode in addition to some very important news that we need to address
first and foremost for today we're going to be getting into that immediately here ladies and
gentlemen but of course as you can see and coming to this stage i would imagine at any moment here
too we will be and i see them in the audience the one and only grateful ape will be joining us for
an interview ladies and gentlemen.
I am so excited about this.
I'm trying to kick the energy levels up as only this individual knows how to do.
Before we get to that, ladies and gentlemen, temper that expectation just for one moment because we need to get into some really important information.
But first and foremost, before we get started with that, if everyone be so kind as to
engage, react, and share this spaces, so we make sure we can get this out to the masses. Of course,
we are being recorded, but it's always fun to have the audience here alive and ready to go. So that's
shared to the top of the spaces here. Simple repost, engagement, and comment is all we need to do to get this out and moving forward.
Ladies and gentlemen, before we move on with the details that are going to be coming from today,
just wanted to give a quick little shout out and a little refresher on what transpired for last
week. Feel free to take a peek at the now newest of the shared posts at the top of the spaces in case you didn't have any consumption of that during this time last week.
We had welcomed in the runestones to the other side and feel free to consume this thread at your leisure.
And of course, the recording is also there.
And we had an absolute blast welcoming them over to the other side and ran around the
nexus a bit. So feel after the spaces last week. So feel free to take a peek at this thread to
catch yourself up. And of course, as we are sitting here today, we have to share something.
And look, ladies and gentlemen, as we know, Stella, Leo, grateful, the entire Mutant Monday audience. As we know, this space changes in a heartbeat, right? Or some type of new news, some new information will come up. And maybe you could have expected it. Maybe, you know, if your sixth sense was tingling, you could have forecasted it to come but regardless of that we need to be on our toes right and just ready to adapt and evolve right on the spot there is no you know there's
no rest for the weary as they say and sure enough ladies and gentlemen as we are certain everyone is
aware too just want to make it clear for all of our audience here today listening to us either live to meet to Monday with the cartel or later to the recording that if you are an ordinal holder and or if you
fancy the Magic Eden marketplace please be aware and advise I'm sure you've seen it all over your
timeline this weekend and and towards the end of last week there was what seemed to be a little
leak about it but officially came out the Magic was what seemed to be a little leak about
it, but officially came out. The Magic Eden is going to be sunsetting its marketplace,
and also its wallet will be completely deprecated. Ladies and gentlemen, I can understand how this
may impact some of you, right? If you're an Ordinals holder, whether you have an MHI,
part of our family of collections, or you have any other Ordinals, you have an MHI, part of our family of collections, or you have any other ordinal, you have any runes, for example, that are currently living in a magic Eden wallet.
Very simple to this is you're going to port over your seed phrase into a new Xverse wallet.
That is the key point of this. You actually have to open up a new one and you'll be able to completely transfer over all of your holdings without any transaction fees, no mempool,
Bitcoin transaction fee at all. You simply import your seed phrase and you are there to move over.
At this stage, ladies and gentlemen, we just want to be crystal clear with you that Magic
Eden has outlined the time frame for when their services will be completely sunset. Now their
wallet you have until roughly the end of this month but I'm going to suggest right now ladies
and gentlemen as you get a little closer to that you might see some lapses and coverage things of
that nature and I would suggest doing it sooner rather than later
if you have the capacity to do so. So locate your seed phrase, literally open up. If you already
have an X-First wallet, you cannot add it to an existing one. You need to create a brand new one.
And if you take a peek at the shared post here, the newest, the third now, to the top of Mutual
Money with the Cartel, you will see a thread that outlines it.
And as always, ladies and gentlemen,
we would never suggest something we ourselves wouldn't do.
I myself have gone through this process already
It is super quick and super easy.
if you have any questions about this at all,
please feel free to reach out to any of us here too,
and we will set you straight on how this can go.
It is a very simple process. And once you have it down, it's no problem.
And then moving forward, we have some suggestions for what marketplaces you could use for your ordinals, for example.
And in that case, we'll be making some suggestions coming up.
One of the ones, for example, we've noticed there's going to be a ton coming up, just, you know, NFA, of course, for anyone's decision on where to go.
But you're going to see a ton of new Ordnose marketplaces coming up.
One of the ones that we've seen that we recognize as an X-First recommendation is called SatFlow.
So feel free to take a peek at that.
And you can see some there.
That's one of the preferred ones, for example.
But there are going to be many for folks to use.
So please feel free to use the marketplace of your choice. But in terms of wallet,
we highly suggest Xverse as the one. Leo, I'm going to swing it on over to you, sir, as someone
who is also an MHI holder at this stage, as I imagine, you know, many in the audience here too
are listening later live to the live recording here. Leo, are you a holder of anything in a Magic Eden wallet
as I was up to a stage recently?
And did you get the chance to port things over
or are you in the process of going through that?
So I never actually did get a Magic Eden wallet.
I've always been an Xverse holder
for all my ordinals and runes.
if you already have your xverse wallet
make sure you just go in there and you can check out and see which ordinals you have they'll be
ported already into your xverse wallet and if they're not there then you would have to make
sure that you get to that magic eden wallet open up your new xverse wallet and make sure you port in
and like v said um reach out to any of us at any time and we will help you. We are actually,
funny enough, in every single time zone in the entire planet, we are always available. So we're
we're strewed across the entire planet at any time. So but like V had mentioned, as time moves on
and and it's, you know, the more and more traffic and things that are going to start happening through the Magic Eden wallet moving out, you kind of want to jump on that as soon as you can just to secure that.
And if you did need any help, then we have the opportunity to help you first and foremost before it gets too late or we start to panic.
So I would jump on that sooner than later
like had like he had mentioned so we'll we'll dive into that in a little bit but we're always here for
you guys absolutely and and very well said leo and absolutely at that point everyone in case you're
wondering to again there's no gas fees in this so i saw you know some of the early recommendations
maybe simply transfer it yourself like send it to another wallet that you hold.
But this Xverse process literally costs no fees or anything like that.
You just port it right on over.
So, for example, for those of you who already have an Xverse wallet in addition to something on Magic Eden, you know, if you have the capabilities, again, to maybe have a laptop on the side of your desktop or vice versa, that could be a way to also get around
if you have a personal X-verse already and then you can't port over a Magic Eden seed phrase,
just in case you have multiple wallets in that regard. But again, we'll break it all down for
you in case you have any information about that. But just for those who are impacted by this,
but as Leo mentioned here, if you never were in on a Magic Eden wallet, congratulations.
You don't have to worry about this at all um and what we also realized
moving forward is and i don't know where everybody else um transacts with their ape chain activity
but for sure i think magic eden was one of like the industry leaders in terms of where people go
for ape chain collections and i am also of course we know it's on openc so we can see kind of what
you know um opportunity is gonna uh lay out in the, you know,
for the market share where people are going to transact
for Ape Chain Collections.
But I'm very interested to see how that unfolds as well
to moving forward with this process.
But again, any questions regarding to that, we got you.
You can find us in the Mutant Cartel World Discord, of course.
The join link is in the bio of our host account

please open up a ticket there, and that'll be our fastest way to get from any of us in the Mutant Cartel World Discord, please open up a ticket there,
and that'll be our fastest way to get a hold of us.

But if you open up a ticket,
we'll be there for you as soon as we can.
We, of course, want to make sure everyone is sorted out
because the landscape of this Web3 world is always ever changing.
But on that note, speaking of ever changing, there happens to be, as we slightly switch gears here a little bit, there are some fused hounds in a lockup as we speak right now, just waiting to get out. And ladies and gentlemen, the jailbreak is on the horizon.
And I cannot wait for those of you who may not be aware of this.
This is your opportunity to scoop up some locked up fused hounds.
And the beauty of this is they will be unlocked with their 3D twins on the other side as they arrive.
And we are going to be showing out with them.
The first serum improvement proposal that had been passed is about to come to life.
So stay close to your notifications here for when that is going to arrive.
And one more thing before we get into our interview, I cannot wait to be
speaking to the one and only grateful ape here in just a moment. We got one more thing we need to
tease to our Muted Monday audience, just right quick. And this may be a little foreshadowing
into potentially what is to come. But ladies and gentlemen, there is an upcoming new Ape Chain
collection that we are very, very excited about. I'm bringing up the account here officially here,
just a moment, so I can do a little sharing of this but the official artist
that senior inking artist of novel labs and the mutant cartel world responsible
for the mutant hounds the hounds saga the mhi diffused and so many other things that are from the Mutant Cartel world is officially launching his official collection.
And it is called The Goats. We cannot wait to see what is going to be coming from Mr. Vice, one of our absolute favorite artists we have ever seen.
His independent creation is going to be coming to the Ape Chain ecosystem here coming up in the month of March.
These oblivious anarchists are going to be chewing their way to the other side.
These oblivious anarchists are going to be chewing their way to the other side.
And in case you need an idea of maybe a little look at what they might be, go ahead and take a peek at Shuli here in the audience.
That's the evil version of it.
But you can kind of get an idea from that there.
I'm going to share a post up to the top of the spaces to let you take a peek at what some of these might look
like and feel free to keep your tabs on what is to come for this as well and I think there's going
to be some new content that's coming up here too from this account it's at the underscore goats
with an underscore in between each of the letters there so feel free to take a peek at that and we'll
be welcoming Mr. Vice onto the Mutant Monday stage coming up here
before long. But ladies and gentlemen, speaking of welcoming to the Mutant Monday stage,
it is an absolute honor. I am just feeling so special in this spot that we are currently in
right now. And there's one reason for that is because if you happen to be on X at any point
and you have like any little piece of your world
it would have been impossible to miss
the legendary grateful show spaces and we have creator host an extraordinary long time ape
and legendary in this ecosystem the one and only grateful ape gm and happy mutant monday how are
you welcome gmgm legends happy mutant monday let's fucking go a lot of aquamarines here absolutely love to
see that thank you so much for the support uh i also see some oranges but it's fine that's fine
uh how you doing guys what's good what's up my man i love the energy look i was ready to like
put some extra nitro into the boost here today i knew you were going to bring it um and indeed
believe it or not i might see more aquas and oranges today. Wow. Like that's incredible on this spot. Cannot deny this. You
know, I'm an army green person myself too. So, you know, we just kind of relegate ourselves to the
back. Shout out to you six. I'm here too as well. We're grateful. I have to say this. You're asking
us what's going on. We need to know what's going on with you. We are here to celebrate a momentous occasion on your behalf. Four years. Are you kidding me? Four
years to a D-Gen? That's like a life sentence and a lockup right there. Four years of hosting spaces
and Grateful, I need to start us off at the genesis, at the origin point for the Grateful Show. What exactly was the motivation behind getting this started way back in 2022?
And how in the world did your partnering with Tino come about?
It's so funny, man, because the idea was basically nothing.
We were like, hey, we want to hang out with other people.
And Spaces are amazing format to actually chat with other people from all over the world have fun learn more about nfts learn more about what's going on
and that's how it started uh it was also great because in 2022 i did spaces in 2021 but we just
didn't have it like regular space uh so in 2022 we 2022 we started February 24th and it was buzzing like
crazy right like it was incredible there were so many interesting builders people that we talk about
it was a dream to start with with people that we had and we had so much fun back in the day
we still of course have fun but back in the day it We still, of course, have fun, but back in the day, it was really like,
you know, we didn't want to make money doing show.
We didn't want to do like, you know, we just wanted to have fun, learn,
empower other people, you know, and enjoy the ride in Web3.
And that was the idea behind it. Right.
Since you were talking recently about hosting a lot of people all over these four years,
can you share with us some of the most memorable moments you had?
One thing that I started doing since episode one
of all episodes with all guests
So that's an awesome thing.
So for example, we hosted
for the first time. It was episode number
39. So we were kind of early in in mutant cartel
we hosted so many people it's absolutely crazy we hosted G-Money Zeneca
last year we hosted Gary Vee it's very hard to because of course I will miss so many like the biggest, but I think the main idea behind the show was to host everyone, right?
It doesn't matter if you have like five followers, 500,000 followers.
We hosted so many like IP projects.
We hosted Chimpers cool cats founders like if i'm going back in back
in time uh we hosted um i think we had a few i think we hosted uh julia pacino which is daughter
of al pacino we hosted uh uh what's the name of the guy from pink floyd uh yeah i met him in in vegas during ape fest also uh so page yes yes let's
fucking go there yeah let's go let's go dead dead legend um it's hard to to name people because i
you know from like 443 episodes i i missed so many but it was always great that it kept you in game and basically you can ask
whatever you want right so if you are really interested in web 3 you you asking about stuff
that you are interested in and you learn so much you you also learn like one thing is crazy because
going back you also see how many how many projects didn't make it right so you are really grateful for all the projects that they are still around it's uh you know going through
the database man we hosted stuff also like uh game of thrones uh nft project you know they they they
it was it was crazy what happened after that so it's like a journey since 2022.
And yeah, you have to live it, right?
You have to experience it.
Welcome to the Mutant Monday with the Mutant Cartel, man.
It is an honor to have you up on the stage here with us.
And man, like, yeah, I've been hanging out in your show for the last couple of years um man in your energy uh ups downs you know doesn't really matter uh market sentiment it doesn't have any effect on your energy or what happens in the show it's all
good vibes and a lot of us are here just for that just to to vibe out that's why we're here and we
love your show so much and um i just want to give you some huge props
for what you've been through,
what we've all been through on the ups and downs
and how you just continue to press forward
with your amazing show with you and Tino.
But I got one question for you here.
Who's that one guest that you haven't had on the show
that you would love to interview?
And what would you ask them?
That's a perfect question.
And I will have to really think about who it's going to be.
I thought you wanted someone who's not on stage right now
everyone guessed that already
interview some NBA players
that's what I would love to do
you're always talking about basketball yep but I would like to interview some NBA players. That's what I would love to do. Yeah.
You're always talking about basketball.
But I probably have to think longer to really, like, of course, AI is huge these days.
So let me ask you a question. So if you were to get an nba player who would it be
and would are they do you know any nba players that are into crypto or nfts yeah i think tristan
thompson is into into crypto he also i think i don't know if he's still doing it but he was
behind that basketball.fun uh oh cool but i would love to talk with people from from different industries
than just a crypto about business and how can we use that knowledge here and and you know make
the space better um because i think now we are like in 21 it was totally different compared right
now right and a lot of projects had vision but now
and we knew it back in the day too but we knew that project has to have like business model right
to to make it sustainable and i think now we are getting there with so many projects building and
they're they're always thinking about how to generate revenue, whether it's going to be through other side, through selling physical stuff, etc.
So business people, 100%, NBA players,
anyone who maybe think negatively about Web3,
and you can educate them.
Because a few MFers that are creating a bad image for crypto,
it doesn't mean that we are bad.
So yeah, something like that I would be really interested.
But when we started, we were like, hey, we want to do interviews with founders and big guys in the space.
And it slowly evolved that we do everything right now
from interviews, like community spaces,
you know, supporting community members.
That's also important because it's not easy to keep going.
And these spaces are real
because you can feel emotion through the voice.
You can also, it's so much better
than just scrolling timeline, right?
That's sometimes like a brain rot these
days. Yeah, no, absolutely, man. And I think that cross-pollination, like, you know, that's a great
idea to, you know, if you're able to get some basketball players or other people, influential
people from different areas, cross-pollinate and teach them what we're doing, that would be
phenomenal. Thanks, G. And you know what, Grateful? I already had a
hoops question queued up for yourself too, and it's a perfect spot to get in there. So I'm going
to move this up on the order because I need to get it right now. This is the juicy stuff, right?
But we'll get back into Webby for a second. But Grateful, this is going to be telling me
everything I need to know about you. And I think I already have an idea of the answer,
but let's hear it straight from the ape's mouth himself.
Who is your favorite all-time player?
And does Grateful still have any game at this stage of his career?
Okay, I'll start with the second part of the question.
Yeah, I still got a game.
I still got a game. I still got a game.
You are talking to the Hong Kong Ape Fest 2020.
I had to leave, so I didn't make it to three-point contest.
there would be champion of you know
double champion or how to call it but
yeah I still kind of have a game
we want to do something during the
you know maybe some small tournament there
because of my childhood my all time
Yeah, the mindset and everything,
absolutely love those guys,
but, you know, I love the era of basketball,
you know, when Kobe took over in like 2000s, right?
So I really enjoyed it you know ai and shock
and you know all those guys yeah that's my era dude you're right in my wheelhouse too and i'll
be honest my order is flipped for you personally i was just hoping you know that you were going to
say lebron or anything like that for sure you know and we we don't need to get this space is going in
that direction but kobe's my goat forever That's the era that I came up in.
And, you know, that Mamba mentality, like you mentioned,
it certainly is, you know,
second to none in my opinion.
But, you know, let's not mistake ourselves.
Six for six in the finals,
obviously minus a quick retirement
I mean, you can't get, you know,
his erroneous will certainly stay on the Pantheon.
But, you know, come this next Ape Fest,
you know, maybe you might have
some competition there too. So maybe I'll shoot my left hand to make it easier for everybody.
Just teasing, of course. But look, and I appreciate that, Grateful, because that's some hard-hitting
info there too for all of our hoop lovers out there. And in my opinion, one of the best leisure
recreational activities out there is to just pick up a round ball and put it in that there basket.
But look, Grateful, let's take it on back to our celebration here. And thanks everyone for
joining us live on YouTube Monday with the Cartel. We are here with the one and only
Grateful Ape in celebration of four years of the Grateful show. And so Grateful, let me ask you
this because you may have some experience in this realm, you know, maybe, maybe not. But in your opinion, because, you know, maybe you won't say this about yourself,
but I will, you know, you're an amazing spaces host.
And I want to know, what is it that makes a good X spaces host?
I think the most important thing is to be you, man.
Like, you know, to be authentic.
I know it's like cliche, like everyone's like,
oh, you need to be authentic.
But like, do you know how many trends
we've seen over those four years
that people were switching from thing to thing, right?
I think you have to do your own stuff that you like
Because we've seen, you know, we kept going.
That was really important.
We kept going no matter what.
And we've seen spaces popping up, you know, that had big numbers at some point
and doing some stuff that was maybe like rage bait things.
And we never done that because we didn't like it.
And a lot of those people is gone, you know,
or they did some shady stuff, but we never, never done that.
We always did our own thing that we, that we like it,
And I think that's, that's the most important thing.
Too much respect for you and one thing that i didn't say anything uh i am a steph curry fan
i'm sorry i know i respect the goal for me as mj uh mamba also has a place in my heart
but i am kind of like uh of the new era of the NBA.
So Steph, you shoot a three and you're Steph.
Like there is no, but again, let's go back to the space.
So we were talking about, like you said, a lot of projects coming and going.
So for you, what are the key ingredients to helping build Web3?
And how you, with yourself, help to develop?
What's the ingredients to build in Web3?
Yes, the key ingredients.
I think it's really important to keep learning.
To help others. To keep...
Because it's a new thing, right?
I would say more projects are struggling in finding the revenue model,
in, you know, everything's changing, crypto is fluctuating up and down, right?
It's really not an easy situation for sure.
So you just need to believe and you just need to keep going.
need to keep going that's that's the thing and i've seen i think we we've interviewed a lot of
projects and we we learned from them also a lot that sometimes you really get crushed by the
market by by politics and everything that's going on in the world but you just have to keep going right you just have to keep figuring out the
way uh along the way you know what to do how to do it because if you stop figuring that uh
and you quit it's over not only for the founders but for all the holders right and if you look at
into your wallets you probably can tell which projects you know pick that that approach and
i know it's not easy because projects raised money money in 2021 but um you know you have to pay
people etc etc and it's um it's it's not easy journey you you you need some revenue stream or you need to raise money so
it's not easy place to build 100 it's uh you know it's a new business but that's the beauty of it
for me that's the beauty of it because we are building something new and it's not like do it
like start selling real estate right like uh it's old business you know like everyone knows how to do it
if you keep going you know there's probably not that many new things but
in web3 it's crazy so that's why i love it and i think you know you need to have a
you need to have personality as a founder to actually uh push it through this because it's
it's tough it's tough it's It's 100% tough. And back
in the day, I was like, you're soft if you give up. But I kind of understand, you know, if people
give up after they try for years, because it's not easy. It's really mentally, you know, it's not
easy. And if you want to start your project, you really have to think about it, that it's not going to be easy.
But, you know, I laugh about it and that's what Kobe said, right?
Like, I remember Kobe, he got a concussion and he played with it,
even though doctors told him to not play with it.
And he want to know how does it feel to play with concussion, right?
And that's probably what I'm doing in this space. And he want to know how does it feel to play with concussion, right?
And that's probably what I'm doing in the space.
During all those market crashes,
and everyone who kept going,
it's so tough and you need to keep going anyway.
So you learn a lot about yourself.
Something that people outside of the space,
probably they don't have idea what's going on, right?
Like a lot of my friends were like, oh shit, my portfolio is down like 4%. I'm like, oh yeah, that's awesome.
4%, that sounds good, yeah.
Right, 4%, yeah, that's, yeah.
No, I agree with you 100%.
It takes a lot to build in this space, you know to to be there all the time through the ups and downs
and a lot of the the stuff that i've seen throughout my years of collecting and being
around the nft space is um a lot of guys they're builders they're they're people that work behind
computers they don't have lots of interaction they're not uh they're not comfortable being on
the stage like we are and being out there and
being outgoing and and it takes a dynamic of a of a team to have every corner of this this these
angles covered to make sure that you can express your project and push forward into your future
as best you can um and it's easy to get bullied and pushed around if you're not there or or you
you know you're trying your best,
but it's just not working out for some of the people that are in your collection.
So yeah, it's a very tough space.
But yeah, that ape that you have, I mean, I don't even have to,
like if you post something and I don't have to look at a name,
I already know that that's you.
It's so well known as so many are in the swamp.
But what is it about the Yacht Club that you love so much that keeps that PFP a dawn on you?
It's 100% the people in the club, right?
And you can see it on timeline,
even though the algorithm is getting crazy.
So you really need to, you know,
I created some lists of homies and stuff like that.
So I still see what people are doing.
But it's 100% the people because wherever you travel,
you can just DM people and you will find apes there, which is awesome, right?
Like you have apes in Vegas, you have apes here in Europe, like wherever you go, you find some.
Yeah, love the club, love the crew.
And it's always been like that since the beginning where you could just find an ape anywhere really
right and it's uh it's amazing to see um it i mean the the opportunity that's that's upon us
right now and the amount of apes that are coming in the new apes that are being uh born almost
every single day it's uh it's amazing to see and it's awesome to see the club grow and see uh it expand to different areas
so yeah thanks yeah yeah it is and you know what's amazing about this is right is like you've taken
your like entire you know online persona right and turned it now into years worth of content
and i have to say grateful you know myself too, I'm a historian, right, of the game
and of the cartel and whatnot. And the fact that you shared with our audience here live on Mutual
Monday with the cartel that you did host, founder of the cartel, you know, and leader of our crew
here on, I think you said in the first 40 episodes of the Grateful Show. It is an absolute honor to be on that list and in perpetuity and to
gather all of the materials needed to catalog each and every one of those. I can only imagine
what it would have been like to have AI back in the back couple of years ago that could have helped
that process maybe a little bit, but good luck to you continuing to move that forward. But the
beauty of that amazing ape that you hold and all the IP that
all of us hold here, right? Is this is our like immediate opportunity to have a personal brand.
And whether that brand is simply your social identity, or if you're actually like you're
rolling with an MBA or you're hosting a spaces or you're getting out there with a podcast, however,
you are deploying your personal brand,
that yourself is kind of like how you are able to move forward with what you have and allow it
to be a key piece of what you're trying to build. And the beauty of it is, with that,
the possibilities could potentially be endless. But as we can see here, each individual needs to have like a unique selling point, something
that stands out for them.
And like a grateful, for example, has the grateful show along with his cast that joins
But as we know this market, right?
And especially with a lot of the AI slop, for example, a term that we recently spoke
about in a previous Mutant Monday of recent gathering there
about kind of all the stuff that's out there. And now we see that trying to stand out, like
Grateful just mentioned it. He has to get a list of names that he's familiar with so he can kind
of keep tabs on them because of all the saturation that's coming through. But Grateful, my question
to you in regards to kind of that landscape we now find ourselves in, in pretty much the spring of 26 here. What advice would you offer to our listeners, right? If they're getting started out or they're just kind of, you know, relatively newer to this space and Web3, you know, crypto, Twitter, however you want to label it. What kind of advice would you give them for starting out and how can they differentiate themselves from others?
I got asked this question a lot in the past and I think today I will have to answer it differently than I used to back in the day.
Because the X changed and you need to adapt, right? Back in the day, 100% of the advice was be consistent, right?
Focus on what you like, share valuable info about that.
You know, don't change PFP that often because people, if they don't know you,
you will be switching PFP every day.
You know, they will not remember you.
So pick something that you like grow in that community so let's say you know you you back in the day let's talk back in the day
uh you you you bought a cool cat so grow into a cool cat community first know the people and then
you know start creating content outside but i think this doesn't work anymore because Twitter or X changed so much and not gonna lie I've been
struggling with with Twitter a lot recently because it changed so much it's
it's you know the the timeline is you know I've been focused only on crypto
but I see politics I see stuff that I don't don to see. So it's 100% harder right now,
but it doesn't mean it's impossible, right?
So first thing I would do
is really find something that I like in the space.
For example, there are communities,
like Mutant Cartel, right?
Or there are communities around creating 3D stuff,
like the Tropical Virtual, he has a render pool. Or there are communities around creating 3D stuff, like the tropical virtual, he has a render pool.
Or there are communities around other side or chimp, etc.
So I would get into those communities
and start interacting with the people.
Whether it's group chats, Discord, spaces,
And get that one-to-one connection connection i think spaces are great but they are
of course not for everyone not everyone want to talk on stage but get that like a real human
connection and don't be just some random guy on the timeline that's posting some ai stuff right
i think the human connection here is really important. That's why I really enjoy spaces, but you can go to other side.
You can do many more things these days than we could do in the past.
And that would be probably my first step.
If I'm new, I definitely want to learn more about people
that have been here for a longer time. If you DM people, I think they usually reply
if they see you around for some time.
So definitely would go this way,
like connect with others, share your interests.
Maybe it doesn't have to be only crypto,
maybe it's also basketball or whatever.
Be human, that's probably the alpha these days you know
something like that 100% and I see so many people here in the audience like they've been
already doing that right I can recognize them just by their pfp so that's awesome
Having this kind of one-on-one connections with people
so they know you're real, you share some values,
you share whatever you like.
I think what you shared is really important when you're new.
When you're trying to build your account,
it's important to just not spam like the others,
but actually make a real connection.
Thank you so much for that great pull.
You gave us the alpha right here
on how to be yourself and also how to get to know others,
get into Web3 and Annex as well.
Now, I would like to ask something that we haven't talked about yet,
So I want to know your take on this.
How do you see other side so i want to know your take on this and how do you see others are evolving especially with tools like mlm coming into play
yep i think they should release that tomorrow for for everyone uh so but i want to i will add
quickly one more thing to previous question and then I get into the other side. Because back in the day, when we joined Twitter, no one was thinking about monetizing, right?
It wasn't like, hey, I joined Twitter and I want to monetize my content.
It was mostly about connecting with other people, learning from other people, having fun, enjoying what's happening and I think sometimes people you know
want to join back in like last year about InfoFi, starting doing that, now monetizing their content
etc. I think starting just trying to connect with other people, have fun, enjoy it and see
how it's going, what works, what doesn't work.
I think that's probably a better way than stressing over the numbers.
And regarding the other side, tomorrow they should release the MML.
I'm really curious about it.
I actually started playing with Blender and see how it works.
I think it's going to be very interesting.
But we definitely need builders in other side
and we definitely need different experiences and see what works.
Because we're not going to figure it out talking about it.
We're going to figure it out by actually creating those experiences
and see how people are interacting in those experiences.
If they like it or don't like it and what they like about it, right?
So I think that's gonna be very important.
Now we have events like other games, right?
That you can go into the other side and having like organized event in there.
I know Bathroom Blitz is coming back. there's going to be another one. We got
Outbreak, we have Primal Instincts they've been building there. I think they said they will launch
in March, April. So there are a few but I think we definitely need experiences and try what works
in there because the other side is different compared to Fortnite and other platforms in a few ways. The first one is that it runs on crypto, right? It
changes a lot of things. Of course, a lot of people can say, hey, it's not that hard for
Fortnite to switch it to crypto. And I think it actually is hard for those huge players because
they want to protect what works, right? They don't want to change their model. it actually is hard for those huge players because they want to protect
what works right they don't want to change their model their model is working so they don't want
to change it and that's a huge opportunity for us because we can do whatever we want
and unless we hit something huge like no one will copy us and it's not easy to build on crypto rails. And we talked with Redound on Thursday
that he actually implemented that it's ERC 6551.
So basically every item, for example, backpack is NFT,
but that NFT has its own wallet.
And that wallet can have inventory like coins, et cetera.
So if you have these in-game items like backpacks
that are like nfts with wallets and you sell the backpack or you give it to someone else
it creates like different gameplay mechanics right so it will be very interesting but i think we need
to we need to experimenting with with experiences and see what works and what doesn't work. And then we can, of course, start marketing and all that stuff
that haven't started yet.
And I think it's good that it hasn't started yet
because we need to build more and have more use cases
to bring a huge or bigger audience than we have right now.
And we talk about this quite a bit and there is no,
like, there's no books for this. There's no university course. Um, just like you had said,
we are the frontline. We are what the books will be written about what to do, what not to do.
Um, we're at the forefront, so we do need the builders to dive in, get in there, learn. I mean,
not everyone's going to hit everything out of the park,
And, you know, we have to support each other, prop each other
all the way through this building process.
And one day we will be the legends that they talk about.
But, yeah, thanks for that, Grateful.
But what opportunities do you feel lie ahead for the
grateful show 100 i'm betting on the other side uh to create experience there to yeah let's go
wearables experiences uh like different show experience we have bubbles right now which is perfect but i can
imagine like uh having more interactive uh spaces that because you have also free bubble right now so
if you have your if you have ability to create your own experience on your deed i can imagine
that we walking around and if we are talking about let let's say, Mutant Cartel, we can stop, we can play some video on a huge screen for everyone, like in the
outside theater. We can go into the history, see some photos from the first Mutant Cartel event
in London, you know, that I visit, etc, etc. So I think it can be much better experience.
There can be maybe tipping to support creators.
There can be wearables and so on and so on.
And with AI and AI agents that FIGI already been using there,
oh my God, it can get really crazy.
And we've been talking about AI agents for a long time,
even before that they were reality in other side.
And I think that's's gonna be also interesting because now if you have and most of the people have multiple avatars in
the other side i can imagine that you say hey this guy is this kind of personality right and
he will help people to understand this and that this guy you can compete with him and you know
maybe you can bet or do something like that and it's gonna you can compete with him and you know maybe you can bet
or do something like that and it's going to be really interesting to see what you can do so
betting on other side 100 also i'm betting on ai and i think uh
like learning as much as you can right now it can be really beneficial for the future because it's
it's crazy it's crazy no absolutely and i can see it
right now like the wearables um i was on the grateful show that's going to be on my my hoodie
or my shirt that i'm going to have but like yeah that's it's amazing and i love to see that that's
that's exactly what we were just talking about building out on the other side uh creating these
worlds and and moving forward with that but yeah
thanks grateful appreciate it yeah that's big time and that potential here too like you know
we're gonna have to do a little deep dive into a lot of the stuff that you had mentioned here too
today grave is amazing great stuff um how appropriate is the name on that but look for
our audience here joining us on mutant monday with the cartel grateful before we let you get on your way could you do us all a favor and kind of give the rundown on when
anyone here can tune into your show like days of the week time and if you have any upcoming episodes
that you want to showcase for our audience so we can make sure that we don't miss it
100 you can tune in every tuesday and thursday noon est it's a 6 p.m cet if you live in europe
and the next one is tomorrow episode 443 hosting uncle mc and his other Quest app, Frankie the Frog and the founders.
And of course, we're going to be talking about other side, MML, what's coming, how to use it.
And let's see if they release it before the show.
It's going to be interesting, but we know a few people already had it and were able to play with it. So yeah, you know, these spaces are a great source of also brainstorming, right?
Because you can talk with other people and you can see how they think about stuff.
And that's what I think is important for everyone new.
Like, check few spaces, you know, go to some other side experiences
to some other side experiences
so you can experience it yourself.
so you can experience it yourself.
So you can feel it and see what you like,
what you think is good to build.
And maybe you figure out something that no one ever built
and you will build it yourself, right?
So I remember back in the day,
actually, Herman and Rob, they were doing,
they are from Improbable, they build M squared,
which is a tech that is powering other side. And they were doing, they are from Improbable, they build M2, which is a tag that is powering
other side and they were doing their test demos in not other side but some kind of like virtual
world and that was really interesting because for example they invited a musician there and
and they made me a song live in that experience and I was like wow for musical events it can be very interesting to have a
you know probably not a whole concert for like two hours but like 20-25 minute performance you
know then chat after that you need to experience it to see what you like that's like that meme, right? That the most important in AI era is the taste, right?
So you have no technical knowledge, but you have a taste.
But I kind of believe in that.
You need to experience many things
and then you decide what you like and what you want to do.
And throughout all these experiences, ladies and gentlemen,
there is one thing that will be tried and true.
Is the one and only Grateful Ape will always remain himself.
A big shout out to you for joining us today.
And also a shout out to your mate there, your fellow co-host Tino.
I understand there's been a pleasant life change has gone on in his familial setting there.
So a major, major shout out to him.
Obviously a fan favorite of ours.
And look, the Grateful Show, Grateful Ape, yourself, Tino, Mr. Beast, your entire crew that's always there too.
You've been supporting us as well too.
Literally from what feels like day one.
And just so you know, the same thing is reciprocated on our end. You've been supporting us as well, too, literally from what feels like day one.
And just so you know, the same thing is reciprocated on our end.
And we're going to continue that moving forward.
So big shout out to you, Grateful.
Thank you so much for being here on Mutant Monday with the Cartel.
It has been an absolute blast to hear from you today.
If you're not following this individual here, too, this is your call to action at GratefulApe
at GratefulShow underscore
Tune in tomorrow and again
week here too. I'm going to celebrate him
Grateful, thank you so much. All the best
and enjoy the rest of your Mewtwo Monday.
And at this stage, everyone, we are nearing the end of our Mewtwo Monday with the cartel. But
before we do that, I want to give a quick little shout out, everyone. We'll be rolling on over
to the other side following today's spaces for a little bit. We'll be hanging out. We'll be
kicking it. Make your way on over to the nexus point, that little bit. We'll be hanging out. We'll be kicking it. Make your way
on over to the nexus point, that little entry. We'll just be kicking it for a bit. Maybe not
necessarily anything official. We'll be hanging for a bit and let's continue this going on over
there. Maybe we'll do a couple of runs here too if we got the time for it. But before we get there everyone. Going to be passing it on over to Stella
to the mutant cartel world.
we would like to spotlight some of the new members of the WorldAid Club who are going to become members of the cartel.
But in this case, she is already a cartelian.
Would you like to give us a brief introduction about yourself and share what's most important to you when it comes to an NFT project.
Hello, hello. Thank you so much for inviting me in.
It's super exciting to be here.
And I loved hearing Grateful talk about, well, pretty much anything.
He's hilarious and I love tuning into his show all the time.
It's awesome. Not only is it hilarious, but you also learn a ton.
And no, I'm just here watching everybody do what they do.
And I honestly, I got into into into NFTs.
Honestly, I don't know much about crypto. I've only, you know, done NFTs.
And I got into that, honestly, in June of 2023, when my favorite band of all time, I found out, mind you, they minted a little
bit before that. But with my two young kids and all that, I kind of, even though I was always
listening to their music and everything, I kind of wasn't following them too much on social. So
I missed the mints. But once I found out that they got into Web3, I immediately opened my eyes and I wanted to learn about it. Because I remember
back, back, back in the day when I heard of people, you know, spending a ton of money buying
pictures of apes, I thought, my God, what's happening in the world? Are people crazy? What
even is this nonsense? You know, I thought it was hilarious. And here I am a few years later,
I with my apes and I'm like rocking the world.
And it all happened because of Avenged Sevenfold.
Avenged Sevenfold to me is the best band of all time.
And I don't know if any of you know Avenged Sevenfold or if you know Shadows ETH, but he's this man can move mountains.
This man is so smart. He actually, I think, got the inspiration from Board Ape Yacht Club and realized how, you know, you can go through ownership on blockchain to in real life utility.
And he created the best fan club on earth. You know,
we have all these benefits. I know I'm going way out of like what you asked me, but I just wanted
to give a really quick intro as to how I even got into it. And it was through them. They created
the most amazing fan club. You know, you get all the benefits that anybody who loves music, who loves a particular band can ever wish to get.
And, you know, then from there, other bands like Dave Mustaine from Megadeth went ahead and followed suit.
And from there, I ended up learning, you know, I ended up coming back on X.
Just everything started growing. Well, first of all, with I'm sorry, I'm jumping around. I'm super nervous.
With with Avenged Sevenfold, by the way, their discord, they teach they were like, they're the best people on the face of the planet. They can teach anybody with all the patients in the world, like a newbie has no idea how to do anything, how to get a wallet, wallet security, all of that stuff.
And it was just the most beautiful
introduction to Web3. I didn't know that this existed. You know, this kind of world where
very, very, very decent people go out of their way. They don't have to do it. They go out of
their way to help you. And then, like I said, that just kind of exponentially grew with Megadeth
Digital. And then from one project to another, to another, to another,
and honest to God, my experience at Web3 so far has been so beautiful, so beautiful. I know that
in general in life, there's a lot of bad actors, you know, in anywhere you go. But thankfully,
I haven't, I haven't seen that. I've only seen people doing what you guys are doing here, you
know, just welcoming people, giving people chances, what you guys were doing
and helping people, you know, get out of Magic Eden. You don't have to do that. And you guys
are doing it graciously and amazingly. And it's just such a beautiful, beautiful world. And now
with Other Side that we get to kind of, it's an extension of this Web3, you know, it's like
the X spaces 2.0. And I don't know i just i just love this world so so very much
it's been one blessing after another meeting all of you guys and you asked to me what was the most
important thing about um about an nft project obviously it starts off with cool art that you
can identify with but ultimately it's the community it's what's what what backs it up it's what makes it exciting and
to me it's what gives the what you hold in your wallet the actual value and it makes you want to
stay it gets you excited to hold it because you're excited to talk about it and to hopefully bring in
more people so i'm sorry that was an incredibly long-winded answer and i'm super shy so i know it
was like all over the place i didn't really think it out. But yeah, that's it.
Bueno, hablas español. So sorry everyone, I just said she speaks Spanish.
That's it. Thank you so much, Stephanie.
I actually, I'm going to DM you and ask you about the band.
Very intrigued right now. But you're fine. I'm also shy. You can feel the
vibrations of my voice when I'm nervous. So a big shout out to you. Thank you for coming.
It takes a lot of courage to get out of your comfort zone. So thank you so much for sharing your story as well we all start
here somewhere with different everyone has a different background so really really happy to
to also know about you and definitely at the end but first um foremost theel, the bosses of the cartel would like to welcome you too.
So send me your wallet and we'll send you a present.
And I'm passing the mic to Vanguard again.
And I'll tell you what, Miss Deathly Shadows.
No, I don't think anyone could figure that you were at all nervous in any capacity.
And, you know, it's one of those things, right?
And sometimes we can be guilty of it.
We try to pack as many words per moment as we can in when we get a little potentially nervous, right?
One of those key ingredients is just, you know, slow down a little bit.
You know, take your time. Not all of us can have the nitro in our blood, like the one and only
grateful here too. But look, no matter where or how you pass that point of no return to come up
on stage and speak, it says a lot about you, right? And you want to get your story out there
because the beauty of it, we all have a unique story to this. And that's why we get together, right? The relationships being that key ingredient to this space and very poignant
response, by the way, Stephanie, excuse me, I don't want to get too comfortable with you just
yet, is that the community is what makes this space, right? And that's exactly what we're doing
here. And so in celebration of everything that has come to light here today,
first of all, the Grateful Show hitting four years of our 440 episodes. We're so stoked for
that, Grateful. And we want that to continue moving forward. We cannot wait for the next
years to come on that. And of course, if you're tuning a little late today or you're checking out
the recording at this stage, feel free to rewind it back to the beginning of the spaces here.
Relatively in the first few minutes, we shared some details in regards to porting your wallet over.
In case you do use Magic Eden in any capacity, porting it on over to Xverse.
Feel free to check out the post at the top of the spaces.
That'll give you some details around it.
It will not cost you anything.
But again, this is a key ingredient of knowledge that will help you to get ahead
of the coming changes that are on the way but for anyone here that has some more time to hang out
with us if you want to make your way over to the other side we'll be kicking it here on the nexus
we already see a bunch of folks um hanging uh if only this was the real little wheezy uh that'd be
a lot of fun and taking it back to Ape Fest of a few years back there,
seeing a live performance. I see I'm on the Nexus right now too, so I'm with the same screen name.
On that note, ladies and gentlemen, it has been an absolute pleasure to be here for Mutant Monday
with the cartel on the 2nd of March. A happy spring to each and every one of you. We'll see
you here on the Nexus. Otherwise, we'll be back at it for next Mutant Monday. Same
time, same place, and we're going to keep things moving forward. On that note, everyone, we'll
catch you on the other side and keep sipping that serum. Peace. Thank you.
