they're going to be a tough out for sure k cunningham superstar second place the boston
celtics they're five and a half games out they are very much looking like they're going to be
a top four team in the east without jason tatum an incredible performance so far run by the likes of Peyton
Pritchard, Jalen Brown, the newly acquired Nikola Vucevic and can't mess with the Celtics,
right? They're going to be a tough out regardless. It would be crazy. I don't think there's any
chance Tatum returns and he would be rusty, but can't rule out Boston. They're well coached.
They know how to play together as a team.
The New York Knicks finally starting to play some more good ball.
They're 21-7 at home, 13-3 on the road,
but they're 8-2 in their last 10, sitting at 35-20,
just dismantled the Sixers six games back in first place.
They're sitting in third. Then you've got the Cleveland Cavaliers, the new home of James Harden,
one of the most electric backcourts that we have in the NBA right now with Donovan Mitchell and James
Harden. The Cavs have been surging nine and one in their last 10 winners of five straight.
I've been talking about them on this show every single time. Do not rule out the Cavs.
This was before James Harden. They started to find their groove. They're seven games back.
Fifth place, the Toronto Raptors, nine games back.
32-23, solid basketball team.
Sixth place, the Philadelphia Jared McCain-less 76ers at 30-24,
10.5 games back.
The Orlando Magic in seventh place at 28 and 25.
The Miami Heat in eighth place right now.
Again, you got to come in the top six to avoid the play-in tournament.
So that stops with the Sixers right there.
Sixers have a one and a half game lead over the Magic in seventh.
Heat in eighth.

Maybe the hottest team in basketball,
the Charlotte Hornets, baby,
ripping up the standings.
Currently in ninth place at 26 and 29.
We're now at teams that are under 500,
but make no mistake, the Hornets are fun.
They are legit.

place right now, you've got the Atlanta Hawks at 26 and 30, 15 and a half games behind the Pistons.
Now we're looking outside of the playoffs in 11th place. You've got the Chicago Bulls who are one
and a half games back of the Hawks, the Milwaukee B who are one and a half games back of the Hawks.
The Milwaukee Bucks, one and a half games back of the Hawks.
And then the last three have no chance, right?
11-12, they can still get into that playing game for sure,
but 13-14-15 in the East.
The Brooklyn Nets, 15-38.
The Indianapolis Pacers, 15-40.
And the Washington Wizardsards who listen next year hopefully
we're talking about a different story with the wizards because that's just a weird fun team
with trey young and anthony davis if he's healthy but the nets pacers and wizards are
officially out of the playoff run what is catching your eye here so far in the East Marathon?
Oh, right now, obviously the Cavs.
Like, yeah, we've been, you know, hounding for sure, saying that the Cavs are like already like kind of that dark horse right now.
And now that they got James Harden, honestly, I see them being in the Eastern Conference Finals.
It's a tough – honestly, they're a tough matchup for anybody in the East right now.
They got defense.
They got offense.
Like, they can do it.
So I really like them being the Dark Horse for sure.
I think they can have a better – I think they'll beat the Knicks,
and I think they have a better chance of beating Boston.
I don't know.
They're not going to beat the Pistons.
But definitely are those other teams I just named for sure.
I like it.
I think that the Cavs still might be my favorite in the East right now.
I want to see Harden win so bad.
I don't care about all the flack you get.
I just, it would be fun to see him win.

And it was so bizarre.
They were, they were cruising with the Clippers.
They, they already announced the, the increase of, uh, spent in the nightclubs in, in Cleveland

I'm excited for the Hornets to be in the play-in game.

How far back are they?
They are 15.
They're about four and a half games back in the sixth seed.

So we'll probably see them in the play-in.
But, dude, they're in that second half of the standings.
I'm really excited to see this young team get some playoff exposure.
They're playing some great ball.

Like, it's going to be, like, to see them next year, I can see them for sure
actually not even being in a play-in.

Actually making that sixth to fifth spot, depending on where Giannis goes
or however the East shakes up.
But honestly, I see them being that young Magic team now that's coming up
since the Magic kind of like now they're kind of established themselves
as not being young anymore.
But yeah,

I like Charlotte coming in next year and actually making a real like
difference in the playoffs.

The East is still wide open.
I do think that the Pistons are,

Sometimes regular season doesn't mean all too much in that regard, but the Pistons are legit.

There are about, you know, the Pistons, Celtics, Knicks, Cavs, shit.
Finbeat is finally healthy for a playoff run, which again, I would not bank on.
I can't rule out the Sixers.
The Magic, you know, a lot of these teams could definitely represent,
and it's just going to be who's healthy and who's playing the best ball come playoff time.
But yeah, that top four is really the most likely.
Pistons, Celtics, Knicks, and Cavaliers.

They're going to be a really tough out.

and he was there in the all in the celebrity game last year now they got lethal shooter
in this one so i want to watch that for sure um but i like the dunk contest three-point contest
and you know i really starting to like like the the like the rising stars challenge now
