same old at the top i think i'm pretty comfortable saying that the Pistons can almost waltz to this one seat here
and have home court advantage throughout the playoffs.
I know we still have a lot of season left, but they have a five and a half game lead
over the next group of teams, which are tighter than ever.
They're 7-3 in the last 10 games, and they're a really good basketball team.
And I'm sure we'll talk about them in a bit, uh, regarding the trade deadline. Do they stand pat? Do they still build and grow with the core that they have? Or do they make a run at a Giannis or a, um, Sabonis type player? Who knows? Second place right now, I'm going to go two, three, 4, 5 because they're all within a game of each other.
And second place right now, the New York Knicks finally starting to get together.
Four-game win streak.
Boston Celtics having just a great season without Jason Tatum.
And the three seed, five and a half back as well.
At the four seed, the Toronto Raptors are six and a half back.
The five seed, the Cleveland Cavaliers are six and a half back of first place again
they're all within a game of each other solid teams all solid teams uh philadelphia 76ers
at the six seed right now starting to play some good ball joel and bead looks healthy

Those teams are awful, but we'll go through them.
We'll see if they have any vets that we think can make an impact on some teams.

Do you think that the Hornets have a chance to kind of, you know,
they're in 11th place right now.
They're not that far back.
They're only, again, of the playing game,
they're two and a half back of the Bulls.
Like that next echelon, the Bulls, Hawks, Magic,
I don't see why they can't get up there.
Yeah, easily they can. Like, they have the most momentum right now of the Bulls like that next echelon the Bulls Hawks magic I don't see why they can't get up there yeah easily they can like I they have the most momentum right now of the youngest teams in the east right now I think and I mean just their role players are playing so good right now like
obviously we're not even talking about like a nipple and you know lamello and all them but just
like actual role players coming off the bench so that's why I really like the Charlotte Hornets
right now actually taking
and filling in that probably that last playing spot.
I know that I think they can.
I think they can probably get ahead like another four and a half games
on those two games that they're behind back easily,
depending on their schedule right now,
which I'm thinking probably in the next five games, that's easy for them.
So the way they're playing.
And then right now with Detroit, I don't think Detroit needs to do anything.
I think they just need to learn and keep it how they are right now,
keep that same roster.
They got vets on there.
They're playing good.
They got a good coach.
Like, why mess up the chemistry right now?
You know what I mean?
Like, just let it play out.
Let this season play out at least.
I mean, if they are making any trades, obviously I would make like a trade for maybe another bench player coming off to like help Tobias Harris.
But other than that, yeah, no, I think they should just keep it solid.
Keep it the same right now.
Shoot, they're straight.
Like I said, this is what Kay Cunningham leading them right now.
And Jalen Dern being the big right now, honestly, I think they are solid.
They are a solid combo right now.
So, yeah, Detroit, Knicks, and, yeah, my Charlotte, Dark Horse,
and then obviously the Magic right now still being a Dark Horse.
They just got to still completely stay healthy.
But other than that, they're on a roll.
All right.
I dig it, and I agree.
I don't think they're definitely not going to be making any serious moves.
They're not serious contenders right now,
but if you can bring this core and ball out
and get some of that experience,
get a nice gentleman sweep under your belt,
that works.
That's growth.
That's how you take the next step.
Let's go on to the Western Conference.
The Oklahoma City Thunder thunder 38 and 11,
five games ahead of the next team. Again,
they're probably going to be able to sleepwalk their way to a one seed.
They're deep. They're good. They're the defending champs. Um,
it's their crown. Someone's going to have to take it from them.
Second place, the San Antonio Spurs still just, again,
they're really good team. It's going to depend on the health of Victor,
but man, we've seen it. They've already beaten the thunder three times this season three times so
um they're looking good they're looking good if they keep their team healthy
they should have a fighter's chance in a seven game series third place the denver nuggets still
waiting for the return of
Nikola Jokic, but they're hanging in there at, to say the least, seven and three in their last
10 games. Championship pedigree. What more can you say about the Denver Nuggets? They're just,
they're always going to be a tough out. They're always going to be a tough game.
Fourth place, the Houston Rockets, seven, three in their last 10, 29, 17 overall.

talent. The Rockets are for real. Man, those are four teams that you look at and like, yeah,
you know, wouldn't surprise me at all if these teams win the championship. They've all got

like from fourth place to seventh place, right?
Seventh place, you have to do a play-in game.
Fourth place, you've got, you know, home court advantage.
The difference is one game from fourth to seventh place.
You've got the Rockets at four.
The Minnesota Timberwolves at five who are just, they're a tough out.
They're just, they're a tough team to play.
The Los Angeles Lakers in the 6th hole.
The Phoenix Suns in the 7th hole.
They're 8.5 games back of the Thunder.
But again, 3.5 back of the 2nd place Spurs.
So, Wes is looking fun.

You get the Warriors in the 8th hole at 27 and 22, kind of in like a tier of their own.
And then the Blazers in ninth at below 500, 23 and 25.

The Warriors are in like a tier of their own, but to go from nine to seven is a six game advantage, right?
So there's clearly a different tier of teams right now. But then,
of course, you keep going down 22 and 24. You can't tell me the Clippers aren't a playoff team.
Nine and one in their last 10. Absolutely surging after a horrendous start. Been saying it since
day one. Since day one, I've been a Clippers believer. Kawhi is one of the best players
we've ever seen. One of my favorite basketball players of all time. And yeah, these old folks
can ball, baby. These old folks can ball. They're sitting in the 10th seed right now,
and their arrow is still raging up. The Grizzlies in 11th, 18 and 18 back wow that's another three and a half games behind
the 10th place Clippers which would be the last playing game so the Grizzlies not looking too hot
four game losing streak the Mavericks 19 and 29 it's just all about the development of Cooper
Flagg my Utah Jazz in 13th at 15 and 33 the the Sacramento Kings. Hopefully, Russ Westbrook gets a chance to go somewhere to place for a contender.
And then the Pelicans at 12 and 37.

His first year did not win it.
So we can compare it right away off of that.
His team was a little better when he first came in as a rookie. Cooper Flagg doesn't really have anybody. It's all, like I said, like Squiddy said,
it's all about the development right now with him. It's his team. I wouldn't even say it's Kyrie
Irving's team right now or Anthony Davis. Obviously, we're not going to mention Anthony Davis, but
yeah, it's Cooper Flagg's team right now. And honestly, just the way he's playing right now,
he has, I feel like he has more opportunity than what LeBron did at his, when at his rookie career,
because LeBron had way more shooters around him. He had Mo Williams. He had a Judas, the gals gets
to throw down there. He had, um, uh, what was the, the other, uh, wing thing? I can't remember the
other way, but yeah, LeBron had a squad before when his rookie year, I was like, when you're like, Cooper's really just trying to do everything on his own right now.
He's a rookie averaging a double-double.
And I'm just like, it's really hard because, like I said, they're coming from different times, different teams right now.
And, like I said, Cooper's development, I would say, is a little better than LeBron's when he's coming in.
But the exposure, I don't know the exposure because LeBron, like I said, he was –
like I said, everyone knew him around the world when he came in the league.
So that's just a difference right now.
I mean, if you want to compare him like stats-wise,
Cooper's going to be averaging more rebounds than him.
He won't be averaging more assists.
So they're about the same, almost double-double,
but just different assists, different rebounds.
And then if we're talking about – legacy wise man if cooper stays in dallas i don't think that he's gonna have a
better legacy than what lebron will do just that's just my opinion i'm also checking the the the
cavaliers in 2003 and the year before LeBron's first season,
they were 17-65 team.

So that's what I'm like saying.
It's like it comes from a different time where like LeBron's position
and Cooper Flagg's position are different because Cooper Flagg's being put
into a point guard position right now.
LeBron came into the league wanting to be a point guard.
Cooper Flagg right now is being forced to be a point guard.
Like I said, if we're going to be talking about things, yeah,
he's literally being forced to be in that position right now we're, like I said, if we're going to be talking about things, yeah, he's literally
being forced to be in that position right now just because he is a mismatch for everybody.
You know what I mean?
Just like LeBron was, but Cooper Flagg wasn't planning on coming into being a point guard.
He was coming into being that, you know, two guard, three guard, being able to just kill
and have a mismatch with everybody else.
But like I said, right now, him having to do this other role right now, it's making
him step up, showing him that, like I said,
that he can do a lot more other things.
But like I said, it's just a different time because, like I said,
LeBron wanted to be a point guard.
Cooper Flagg does not want to be.
Like I said, if you put a good point guard around Cooper Flagg,
I bet you his shots would probably be a lot better.
He won't be as tired coming into the fourth quarter.
You're going to be able to utilize them more on defense.
So that's what I'm saying. It's kind of a different, it's really a difference. So like, we'll have to see how Cooper flag plays when Kyrie Irving comes back. That's
all it really is. You're going to have to, you'll see the, you'll see the team, team chemistry right
there. Once Kyrie Irving comes back, you'll see how he plays off. If him and Cooper flag, you know,
become dynamite right away, then shit. I say Cooper flag bet we'll have ag, you know become dynamite right away, then shit I say Cooper Flagg bet will have a chance

and some other picks, I'm probably on board for that because Giannis is a special player.
And just from a basketball perspective, I would be fascinated to see him and Bede Maxey.
