You know, you need to be a little selfish and i love that and just
look at like what that does um for the confidence of the other holders in the community in the
collection and so i'll point out gvc for example i i think that uh the chris and ty founders there
um they're kind of exemplary of that they uh have been buying market buying
their collection alongside the community since mint and you can just see how that really riles
up the community because they're just as die hard about collecting as their community is and i also
see that with b rock he's always like giving us alpha a little hints in the chat sometimes like
giving us alpha little hints in the chat sometimes like mate mate did you see uh damn i do the worst
impressions i'm sorry i i gotta practice in front of the mirror mate did you see the fire on the
floor mate who would i might i may who would leave that a grail on the floor mate i'm gonna swoop it

um i think is like really important to uh just that that collectability like what really drives
collectors everyone has their own favorite traits or things they collect that are not always
necessarily the most rare uh and so like as we're going around i want to get everyone's favorite um trait that they like
to collect that could be from any collection right and so for me it's kind of a crossover trait
and it's got to be the genie from lt3s um i own three of the five Genies and there's only like I don't know 20 something genies
Um that also have a mythic exhale, but you know, of course the o genies
That's one of the reasons I love that trait and then there's some crossover traits with the o genie collection
With less than three with some traits from that
So I just like I really love seeing that I think that's something special
To our culture here within web three and some of that changes i just like i really love seeing that i think that's something special to our
culture here within web3 and some of that changes and so like you know like what do you guys think
is like traits that are uh necessary like that that are cool to still be in like that could be
in any collection or what and what are some garbage ass like you know traits that you still
see that that are cringe you know like a beanie hat know traits that you still see that better cringe, you know

I rush to like what can I buy to flip as

all of the time right and then you become like a very valued member of the community out of
nowhere right so I you got to be careful with the mid-rares I will say that my experience in terms
of buying for value right you got to start with base traits right like the
skins gold skins diamond skins what are your ultra rares what are your completes right what are your
one-on-ones but beyond that right aesthetics i'm a big clean clean aesthetics guy right that's how
i picked my a four trades double blue keep it clean and simple um but that's not for everybody right i mean i'm
also a firm believer that like nfts are nfts right this is silly this is web 3 at its best this is
jpegs like if you want an nft that's got like 47 different trades like yes like you should do that
right if you want like a necklace and an earring and a hat
and sunglasses and it's wearing a you know whatever a kimono like yes rock with that
um but i'm usually a clean simple and i'm usually looking for like rarity to flip
all right where you guys come down on this we got legends on stage who have been buying nfts for
years oh god and oh yeah and i don't want to i'm gonna let zett
lead this one because i don't want to i don't want to come in too hot with it my blood's starting to
boil a little bit getting a little excited for sure but uh i'm gonna we'll go around the room
first and then we'll come back to me i feel like i need to go last on this one um yeah but i love
it pd i love it i think you know aesthetics are great right aesthetics are solid do color like you know what i mean like you know you gotta have the love it. I think, you know, aesthetics are great, right? Aesthetics are solid.

right if you're if you're looking to sell rarities can be you know a good thing if you're looking to
keep certain rarities can also be a good thing especially if you're like trying to corner the
market of certain traits like i think that all right i'm just gonna get into it fuck it guys i'm just gonna but i think like i think cornering
traits like that was that was always one of my favorite things to do i would find like
like not so popular traits and corner the hell out of the market and like and collect oh yeah i'll
be i have man i've bagged them traits you? Yes And then so every time you know, I get like let's say there's 10 15 20 of them
Right and I can at least get my hands on 15 of them
And then there are times of there are times I've been a part of collections
Where I don't mind trading two three four five assets just to get one in my hand
But I wouldn't even talk about it, right? It's you got to do it early on too, you know
So like I would get as many of them many of that trade as i could without even telling people that i was collecting it you know what i mean and be willing to make it
super tasty to where there there's like oh why would i that would be stupid of me to like you
know not take that not make that move not make that trade and then all of a sudden bam and then
i got them all right and then if i wanted to keep them all you know i do my thing but if i want to
push them one by one then it's like dude i set the market you know what I mean so I used to enjoy I felt like there was a fun
in doing that alone like I used to enjoy just doing that you know what I mean just it was like
a a bit of a you know it was just a bit of a challenge I feel like right you know like chasing
the the chase the hunt dude the hunt is on right you know what I mean um but outside of that dude
I think for me
personally if when it comes to trades i want to look myself in the mirror when i look at my nft
right like i want to see i want to see that flat cap dude i want to see them shades on i want to
see that mustache i want to see them wayfares you know like that's why i love shout out to b rock
for doing such a great job with this collection you know what i mean like i love dude though

You know, because certain collections, you know, rarity is great if you're looking to do like quick flips and there's a lot of volume and a lot of interest in it. But that usually wanes.
And then a lot of times you might get stuck with like mid rares or even rares if you paid over.
And then that interest wanes if you're looking to flip and trade and everything
and i think i caught a episode uh some spaces like last week where super high was on and he
was talking about rarity and he was talking about mid-rares and like how a while back like a year
or two ago um that was not the game like you know you would just get stuck like like mid-rares were uh
um there was like no interest like you you know you you wouldn't be um well well well off like
buying mid-rares or even like i said more rare pieces or whatever and then i think that like
there's been a really big resurgence uh like I've been saying the last few weeks of interest,
all around collectability, collection,
that passion for collection and everything.
We've seen it in all of these collections that we love,
that we like, know, and love ourselves.
Quirkies, good vibes clubs.
You know, we got Ira here, you know, of course.
And my man B- a is a devout
uh azuki holder and there's there's just this passion for certain traits uh for me with the
azuki man that that fire piece because it's bullheaded coded um but and so I've owned a few of those now. Um, but, but I think that there's been like, not only a return to, um, picking up, like
collecting pieces you love and like more rare things and like that, uh, just in the last,
like, I don't know, year or something.
Uh, and it's really cool to see because I think that like, it just really highlights
that people are doing it for the right reasons.
They're like buying because it's something they connect with, something that they see themselves in the mirror that they want to hold forever.
They're buying for their kid. They're buying even still out of speculation, but maybe more long term speculation about even around something like a TCG, for example and and how that might play long term or ip holding
certain ip and wanting to build around something for example i have a an lt3 which i consider my
greatest grail it is like maybe a 10 rarity i don't know but it's not my most rare by any means
but it's like a healing it's got the healing like the mended bandaged head it's got a
stitched mouth and then it's got a bandaged heart and so it's it's the only one in the whole
collection so i consider like a one of one it's like the only one in the whole collection that
has all three of those traits that just work so beautiful together connect so beautiful together
and then a homie a legend show uh quirkies i mentioned is
another one of these kind of collections show the legend from quirkies who's also a huge lt3 holder
and lover um did a trade for me for a blue heart that's meant has the the mend head too or whatever
and i say all that to say the reason i first picked that one up is because of the way I connected with it because
I saw like people swooping up grills and man if I could go back in time and now that I know the
collection like I do like the back of my hand if I could go back in time oh boy you like I would
have the most insane collection which I already do but I'm just saying uh if only I really knew
the collection like I did then because it's's just one of the most diverse, like beautifully set up collection where, you know, there's so much rarity within just like there's so many different traits.
And some traits are not like super more rare. Maybe it's one percent of the collection, but like they're really loved and adored by by people such as like a moss hoodie for example
but anyway um i'm i want to write a book a children's book with that character and so
when i saw this other character that connected with it so well and beautiful it was just like
it just was like the perfect uh you know uh i guess sidekick or what's the word I'm looking for co-star for my children's book to
my, my main character, uh, LT3. So, um, you know, I just wanted to say all that to say like
buying for those kinds of reasons and like IP. And that's just one example of like something
you can do with IP. Um, and so I'm, I'm intending to do that like really write a really dope uh based
children's book uh with these characters and i already have it all written out in my head and
everything like that but i i wanted to prompt that to uh kick it over to super high and kind of get
your take on this whole thing and the importance of traits and what they mean to you and of course
start it with what's your favorite trait and then then get a little trait hate too yeah dude so i i was thinking about this question a lot since uh you guys first said it
and i think that like well first of all my favorite traits are ones that are like unique novel
concepts you know like i feel like azuki did a really good job with this with like
the red and blue characters like something about those those two together was just so cool to me
and then like uh the what was it they have like elements but it's different it's like lightning
um spirit it's called spirit yeah oh yeah they have spirits
too that was another really cool concept and then but they have like lightning water fire
like offhand um all that stuff is really really cool and then i like uh i like like i really tend
to like like uh pd was saying like four traits and like, uh,
stuff that's like really clean and just like, um, and then the last thing I was thinking was, uh,
you know, kind of like what you did Zet with that character with the the only like triple healing I guess you could call it um dude I remember
when I I was like I was like I really like the plague like I I really like the plague just pawns
is like a good guy so I was like I I participated in that community a lot and dude I had I feel like
nobody noticed this in the collection until I started bringing it
up. And I kind of did what Wes was talking about, like cornering a trade. There were only two in
the collection that were OGs. They were sad OGs. So like every OG in the original play collection
was like happy. And these, there were two that were sad and I can't remember the other owner,
but I bought one. I bought one of the double sads, like one of the only double sads,
one of two double sads. And like, dude, I had as my PFP, I would like post it all over the place.
Like I would, I kind of like turned it into like a rolling joke on my page. If you scroll back to like 2023 or 2024,
I would like be like, this is one of two double sad frogs in the collection. Like I would post
that like every other day. I think that just like having fun with it, you know, is, is really like the the goal here and um yeah and then traits that i think can be left in 2025

to traits um the trait like accumulation for ogen I would say, probably 75% me and 25% the artist.
And it's weird, right?
When you're building the collection, you have to put in things you don't want to put in.
And quickly understood that.
Like when I'm sitting there and I'm counting traits, I'm like, what goes in?
What's new that's going in?
But what's universally loved that's going in but what's
universally loved that's going in as well um and so those there's traits in there that personally
I don't chase I don't love but they have to go in and then you have to work out how frequently
they're going to feature how much they're going to they're going to be present and you realize
when you start doing that that's when it really gets difficult because
you naturally want the traits you love to be more prominent and you naturally want to ignore the
traits that you you're not as uh inclined to to enjoy but you actually have to do it in reverse
in that moment and you have to make those ones the the the rare the rare ones the ones you enjoy, the ones that you've seen more often.
I'm like with what Petey said, completely agree.
Like aesthetics being everything.
But then again, when we were curating, I couldn't have everything aesthetically perfect.
And it was so hard.
I had to delete some that were aesthetically perfect because there was too
many at one point and it just looked too manufactured.
So there was just this fine line that you had to tread between nostalgia,
between consistency,
between new and injecting something that's your own.
So it made it original as well as holding that candle of flame
to things that people enjoy.
Like that, you have to think about it.
I chase, I used to chase halos heavily.
I chase captain hats heavily.
And I love captain hats, regardless of the collection.
I think they're one of the best traits
if done done
correctly they they look awesome on on most nfts um i used to love that you can see what i love
very easily by by by our genie i love laser eyes we have three different types of ocular powers
but we tied it into the law so it made sense right so there's ways i've been able to inject the things
that i love into it without without kind of um letting it overpower the collection as well and
giving it a purpose as well with the law um but i have to agree with peety on the on the face masks
um the covid mask that that's why they did not make it in.
And they were drawn, funny enough.
And I think me and PT actually had the conversation
pretty early on and I like instantly in my head,
the second I saw them, I was like, nah, they can't go in.
What don't I love about traits?
It's funny, again, because of this journey,
there's not a trait I don't like because every trait has a purpose.
If I had to really be critical to myself is in when trade,
when collections do met very obviously male
figures and then they put female aesthetics in on the male
figures and they don't look right they don't kind of sit right
because they've not actually done a female character that's where i can be like ah i don't
love that and like i'm not gonna like dresses on male figures in in collections yes i know that
again that's why it works for some people some people want that stuff but for me
it i can easily pass over it.
Hence why there was no dresses
on that jeans.
I would be,
I would be curious to see one.
That's favorite trade for sure.

I won't give a whole lot of info tonight for the sheer fact that there's some

overall it was truly incredible.
People who initially were considering not even going at all because the main event got canceled
all of us equally agree we were glad that we went ahead and decided to go because it truly was about
art there it was about nothing but art there was no other nft talk there was no technology talk
there was nobody on the floor trying to sell you something stupid you don't want it was an art
gallery we were literally at an art gallery for four straight days.
Every day had different people and artists featured.
There were physicals.
There were digitals.
The entire downstairs basement at Artverse, it's called Artverse Gallery in Paris,
is nothing but digital frames.
And these are actually nice, high-grade 4K, like, plays pixels, perfect,
not cheap setup. The wires were hidden very well in the wall kind of situation. The best digital
setup I've probably seen, honestly. And then above, you know, again, physicals were being
displayed from paintings to sculptures. It just really depended on the artists that were there.
And I'll pin up a write-up that I did
just to kind of give some insight
to some of the things that were featured
and the people that were there.
The first day was talks in panels.
And we actually had the head of marketing from,
I believe he's with YouTube now,
I can't remember off the top of my head, but he's
been with other past big companies as well, and he had a lot to say about branding and
how to do that in one-three, and just a lot of really cool people there to talk about,
you know, just the state we're in, where we're going, emerging things in the market to look
out for related to art, you know, obviously generative art.
But the friendships that were built is going to be what I know will stay
with me and many others.
And there's a lot of plans that were made and not just talk talk,
true plans where like I'm having a meeting tomorrow with some of the people
that we're making plans with.
I had a meeting with some of them this morning.
So it's, it's real, real things that are happening and ideas that came out of it. with some of the people that we're making plans with. I had a meeting with some of them this morning.
So it's real things that are happening, ideas that came out of it,
and all of us that want to really just pursue moving this space forward.
And then, of course, for those who haven't seen what's going on in the timeline,
with the crazy-ass thing that BATS Symposium came out with,
literally the day after all of these events ended and no, he was not there at all pledging $100,000
fund artists who are out there
doing the damn thing and little by
little many of us just jumped on and decided
to pledge our own. I pledged
$4,000 out of my own pocket to buy
art from
however I choose, which I do that anyway, but it's
more of a public statement.
And now I believe we're close to a million dollars in pledges. And these are people pledging,
again, how then they're going to go spend the money and making it very public. So that way,
we're almost like building this network, if you will, of a way to get artists seen,
which is desperately needed. There's not really a good way to do that.
A lot of artists are out there kind of siloed on their own.
That's the biggest thing that you hear feedback from,
especially during this time.
So it was really incredible, truly magical.
I really believe that.
And there's a movement happening, and I've called it the Wevolution, right?
You guys hear me talk about we is greater than me,
and we're calling it just the art movement, revolution, how things are kind of moving around. the Weevolution, right? You guys hear me talk about we as greater than me.
And we, you know, we're calling it this the art movement, you know, revolution,
how things are kind of moving around. So Weevolution, if you hear me say that,
that's why I'm talking about this movement.
And I just, I think there's going to be a lot of really cool shit that comes out of it.

a gbc hoodie up was definitely looking for one of those a classic trait in there just and I'm kind of with I don't know if it was PD that said it earlier but I'm a
big aesthetic guy myself I like a real nice clean PFP not too much noise certain collections are
really good about having enough in there but I'm also kind of like super I love the unique ones
they're great in collections but for like a chase when i'm going for collections i definitely look more crowns more um hoodie ups uh and then just unique pieces that blow me out of
the water um but as far as rarity score goes i don't really focus too much on that anymore nowadays
i think about top 100 for most collections is about as close as you can get for some quality
and then after that it just kind of dips and it really doesn't matter. It's at that point aesthetic. And then,
you know, just whatever trade is itself. I'm also a big monocle guy ever since I've been in my GBC
RIP, you know, maybe one day I'll get that back, but love, love me some monocles. It's a nice,
like mid rare trait that in a lot of collections that people like, and it gets real niche and no
one wants it until they need it
and so it's really nice to have uh trait hate uh
i don't really like some of the outrageous traits i don't like some of the really off-putting traits
i like more of the humanistic traits that kind of like Wes said,
that kind of make me feel like I can wear it myself,
that I can relate to myself.
So anything that like is too off the wall kind of can take me out of it
sometimes.

collections at the moment um and like no fud to anyone at all because everyone curates in their
weight but sometimes you see them and you're like it's like you've only put effort into the top one
percent of your collection and then you've gone whatever happens with the rest i'm going to generate the rest and then that top half is like res and different and like unique traits and i related
to kind of the process we took with um oh genie right if you go on on on the marketplace and you
check the percentages the the least rare item in our 5,555 collection is still under 300.
So it's like, regardless, you can still find, and that was on purpose, that was by design,
right, is that we wanted to make sure there was rarity, even for the more simplistic and simple
even for um the more simplistic and and simple items that were that would connect to certain
people for that collector kind of aspect right because some people do come in i remember what
there was one person in our community who loved the t-shirt that west has got on right now in fact
funny enough that's exactly what i was going to talk about and you put on and for me that's the
plainest simplest
trait in the whole collection and the first one that i really heard any love about was that one and i was like what's he talking about i put it in because we needed some more plain traits
plainer traits and because of that it to him it was a rare trait and he was like well there's only
there's only 200 of these and i was like dude that that's that makes it one of the least rare but it's rare overall anyway because
there's 4 700 more other things in the collection that aren't connected to that so it's um i think
what i'm seeing more consistency with and people doing now and you still see people not doing it
but people are actually thinking about like the how rarity is going to work into their collection
for collectability and not just the aesthetical part of rarity which is this is dope i'm going
to have 10 of these this is dope i'm going to have 20 of these like actually thinking well
how does it correspond and work
with other things within the collection as well and that's where you're seeing like like you get
some really exciting developments i think good vibes did it amazingly right i think that's one
of my favorite ones to use as an example is because there's trait i'll be honest there's
probably more traits in that collection that i don't like than I do like.
But the way they've structured it and the way they've put it together and just simply creating color separation,
creating that really there's less traits than it appears.
They've just created a very clever amount of color combinations to increase the amount of traits that are in there which is it's that simple to create kind of a connection to your audience
right because that enables people to find the colors they want it allows collectors to color
code it allows people to to chase because they might want to collect a set like it's such a clever way
of building because it it incorporates something that ticks every box whether it's west's identity
whether it's peaties aesthetics whether it's someone else's rare um rare element that they're
chasing like ticks everything so it's very like you'll notice i think people are building like
that now with their collections and if they're not that that's where you can
kind of tell the difference between someone that's put in the working to make sure that
there's a collectability element and where they're just not simply as that
yeah bierak you're so right there and and to quote Chris, the GBC artist, when you build with intentionality, a focus and a gear towards what you're wanting as a product and how you want people to view your product, I love this trait. You said it best. You know, this is cool. I'm gonna do 20 of this. But when you have a curation at a certain level where you
recognize, okay, this is going to create, you know, trait pools where people are going to all
come together in groups and, you know, you create a hierarchy of this different level
of stature of, you know, where these are. Is it due to rarity? Is it due to desire and want from
the market that's creating this, you know, gap? Because it due to rarity is it due to desire and want from the market that's
creating this you know uh gap because there's a trait in that collection called um uh grayscale
there's grayscales is one of the most largest traits yeah i was just gonna say that i'm done
that's one of my favorites actually 300 400 of those but they're still like way above floor
everyone loves them everyone wants them those guys pulled them like crazy even though they're one of the biggest trait groups in that
collection so when you build with intentionality towards desire of who's collecting you build that
in mind you get just such a far superior product of that and then you know you add in other things
like color theory um you know details you know how how long are you going to do? Is this a glance kind of project
or is this something you have to sit there and look at?

and those spaces, man, just talking about the collection
and the artwork and I know he's a man that

living. That's what brought them to the space, right? I would point to something like Del Mundo's
if you want to like dive in and understand really traits, curated traits, and the way that the
community approaches valuing those traits. Because within
Del Mundo's, you have everything, right? I think you only have one real one of one,
but then you have like the unique skins, you have the completes, you have the unique tops,
the rarity is kind of unexpected. You have the feather heads, which are similar to like the
grayscales and the GVC where they have their kind of own community.
I just, I think that's a perfect example if you're fairly new to NFTs and you want to understand
how the market values specific traits, that would be a good place to just kind of go look and see
what is selling and like at what price. because it's also an extremely well curated collection
obviously and the attention to detail is incredible on those traits and just like gvc and
you know maybe not on the same level dude built a studio and took all the time in the world to do
that right so that was just kind of all my thoughts but i'm gonna get out of the way and
enjoy the rest of the convo b-rock i see that hand up come in do you know what i was coming in for i was coming in for something else but i
i need to come in on that now because i i've almost got that no i've got i've got that feeling

lot is the artistic process is is what makes something art sometimes it's not always the final result
it's the actual time taken to put into it and i love watching the video on how it was created
and how it was developed but we've seen a few 3d models over the years that have gone completely
ignored because they didn't get the support that was required. And we've seen some really dope ones disappear because of it.

A bit of me is like I saw the support they were getting at the very start,
and it was almost strange in some ways because it didn't really make sense.
They were an AlphaCold project.

actually got it right at least in the perception of the community because he's alpha calling
something that you know the guy has built and it has this backstory and it has a certain amount of
lore but yeah no we can't get it twisted like that was like tmos and that was an alpha call like
100 that's what sent that project that's why i bought that project not because i'm in that alpha
group i did as well because of that because i saw him pumping it on the timeline and i was like oh
this art slaps right he's pumping it on the timeline like this is gonna go i just don't think
we knew that it was gonna hook up and that the founder had all of that stuff ready to rip.
Right. All the videos and all the stop motion and all the claymation and all of that stuff.
Like I didn't know that that stuff was ready to rip.
And then you start looking into some of the cool stuff they did with like the AI metadata stories.

But at the same time, like not everything is for everybody right and
that's the beautiful thing of art anyway i just wanted to jump in because we got to be honest
about this stuff like that was an alpha call it doesn't mean that he got it wrong it just was what
it was exactly mate that was that that was that was my i i'm with you on it completely and i think
that's that's the the great thing about this conversation
right is that they they do open your eyes to the likes and dislikes but the appreciation overall
of everyone for the artistic process no matter what your art is and I think that's why I that's
why I like I love this conversation in general but I love the wednesday this wednesday show for these conversations because it is a lot more um structured in in terms of appreciation like
that and the thing i was actually had my hand up for originally was to disagree with two
two times and say i like multiple one of ones if there is a purpose for them they're connected to something they explained
and or and or are connected to law if there's storytelling involved with a collection because
they bring it to life more they continue to bring it to life i i think for me
with the whole ip thing that we've we've all been celebrating as of late and
and paying attention to with collections is like when you have ip connected to it if you've just
got a collection and you never do anything to it again that also needs to be explained but if you've
got a collection that can evolve and your ip is your your plan it kind of connects perfectly, right? It's like telling a continued story.
And I think sometimes people do a really good job of having,
yes, they have a lot, but if they do it right,
there's some amazing one of ones in the world.
I think you go look at Utes, for example.
Utes, one of ones, are some of the best one of ones ever made, hands down.
That collection is beautiful and it's so simplistic,
and it is very repetitive, but still manages to look different.
But their One of Ones are epic.
And I didn't even – it's only recently when we were doing a bit of study
and that we saw it.
And I was taken aback by how good their One of Ones are
and how many there are, in fact.

I was going to speak to what B-Rock was saying about rarity
and how they made so many of these genies,
the traits in the genies, actually rare.
If you go and look at genies, you can't really find any.
In some collections, you click on one and it's got six traits
and none of
them are rare i don't think and i could be wrong but i don't think i've ever clicked on a genie
to look at its traits to figure out whether or not i wanted to trade it and had not at least
one trait be rare now p-rock you can probably speak to that or tell me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure every single genie has at least one trait that comes up on OpenSea as being a rare trait.
And that said, the rarity is just based on how many there are of that one in the collection.
Danny and I have talked about this a lot in that when you know especially with
me trying to get all the nakeds right like you know some of the genies that i've tried to get
are not like specifically rare because they don't have you know they don't have traits on them that
are necessarily the rarest in the collection or they don't have several that are the rarest in the collection, or they don't have several that are the rarest in the collection. As a matter of fact, some of my naked genies are probably rarity like 5,000 or more, you
know, but there's only two, you know, Raijin nakeds, like fully nakeds, like true, I call
them true nakeds, like no chain or anything.
I even have a name for my nakeds now, right?
Like that, you know, in the entire collection of the 5,555,
there are only two really totally naked, no chains.
Like the metadata doesn't have any clothes on it in the 5,555, right?
And that's not something that you can search by
or that rarity tells you anything about so um that was one of
the things that i wanted to say the other thing about you guys are talking trait hate and the
the 3d glasses when you kind of talk in 3d glasses that was when i came in somebody said rainbow puke
that was another one i'm like oh my god oh i love rainbow puke i know it's again and then you know
i can't i mean i think it was two times who said, you know,
some of these things are the culture and I get that. And I see why people collect some for the
culture. I mean, like, well, for like psychedelics anonymous for like, that's another one that I
collect, right. I have a couple that are, they call OGs, which are ones that were minted that
way. And they never swapped any of the traits but they're fucking ugly right i mean
like but people are into it right for some reason people like the fact that like it was minted this
way it was never touched like you know that was that's the the ogs they call them right
i don't i don't love i don't love the way they look they're not my favorite i bought a couple
of them because i want to hold because i'm a collector and i want to hold
a little bit of everything because that's how i am or or one of everything right and so um but
they're not my favorite and i get that but again like you know you were saying somebody think of
as two times was saying like you know even if you don't you know identify with a certain trait
you can still appreciate the fact that, like,
those 3D glasses look tight on Aurora bases, right?
Because they're red and blue, and the Aurora bases are pink and blue,
or, like, the right kind of background or clothing,
or if you get something, you know, like,
every trait has its space, right?
Its place, you know, in the collection.

And I get why certain people, you know, identify with certain traits as well. Like I get that
people, you know, they like traits that, you know, things that they love to do. They like to skateboard,
they like to ride motorcycles. They're like to, I like green, like that's my favorite color. So like
on a lot of collections that I collect, I collect the green traits.
And so sometimes I'll go to, like, well, GVC is the one you guys have been talking about.
Like, they don't have a great green trait, right?
They have, like, a green that goes to yellow, and they have some green, like, hats and things.
But there's not any, like, really super green ones.
And so when I go and look at them, I'm like, I just don't identify with them, right?
And so I haven't found the GVC that I love yet or that I really, really want. And so,
yeah, those are the things that I wanted to say. Trait, trait, hate. I hate clothes.
And I love, and I love crowns. I love crowns and I love the color green. So, and I also love Star
Wars. Right. So like if a lot of collections, I'll collect like Star Wars
pieces or things that are related to
Star Wars in some way. So

I remember when you first came in asking all that, you know, the tough questions, trying to
figure out the room, trying to figure out what this is, and it's going freaking ham. And now
just to see you have all these wins, you know, with this badass collection. And it's just great
to see, man, how what a great time you're having, brother, because you've just been killing it.
But I'll tell you what, Wes, me and Mark conversations, and for the most part, they're kind of serious, man.
We're like, we're protecting our collections.
We're like, okay, we're down to the nitty gritty, like, okay, pointing out, well, actually, yeah, this is only a 5,000.
But like Mark says, I'm the first one to tell him, but this is a one or two, brother.

So it's really a testament to how much we love these genies.
And even now, to this day, people sometimes, I don't know if they think, because I have a lot of them, that I don't mind giving one up.

And so it's really a testament to the collection like that. We really love,
you love these things and we really connect with them. And aside from like loving the community

But I just recently very reluctantly gave up a captain skateboard because I only, because I have
five other skateboards that i love
and because this person needed it and you know he's a great community member and he you know in
his return he was going to give me a matching i only have two shirts without genies um and so it
was i was going to get that benefit and then i asked him for a jumpsuit because i got this
this badass 18 superhero group with the with the jumpsuits which i'll put in the comments
so like i got two for one you know and he got so it was it i'm always really we're always really
thoughtful about how we trade because we really love these these guys and in our mind you know
they they do have that value and i will just underline what mark says is that nakeds are
undervalued because there's no naked you know trait but if you put that naked you know as one
of the rarities in open sea then it's a whole other ball game um so i just wanted to say that and um and
also for me favorite traits is all about holistic aesthetic right and i think that you know what
b-rock has said and what other people have started to do like you know to be more mindful about
aesthetic the only thing i hate is when something's super clean and then one thing throws it off you know like it didn't need that one thing so I'm
always looking for the like the IP behind the character like feeling you
know this guy has a story and so so that's what I go for but other than that

And that was probably the first,
one of the first conversations I had and I was like,

you guys were the first people to obviously see the previews and everything
and get, give feedback.
And that was one of the first things there we had to sit down and have a
real think and think about like, cause you was was right like what do we want it to be and then i was like
i don't need to target children that was my thought process i also want people to astutely
think about like if they are bringing their kids in to be like well i don't want my kid to have the
one with the cigarette and like put the response but i think we take we do a lot to take responsibility
out the hands of people so much so that we take something away from other people in the process
and there are smokers in the world who enjoy it there are people that enjoy smoking weed i'm a
cigar i love a cigar every now and again i don't want to lose that because there are a minority there is a minority that doesn't like smoke so it's like
it was a it it wasn't an easy decision but it was one that i was like i'm gonna put this there's not
enough of them in the collection for it to overpower there's nothing there for people to find what they want and if they like
them or not and as well it's just it's it's a it's a cultural thing because if you think back
was it punks had them and certainly it's a trait that's kind of always existed before it became
more taboo to kind of support smoking. I don't support it.
It's a trait kind of thing.
But it's a great, great, like,
wonder that we've had to talk about before for sure.
And I think it's a good conversation.

in the us the other studio that we're going to be animating things with um the building out of
products and working with other people within the space to build out products all of these things lead to you guys seeing
what you're what you're invested in now go up another level um so it's that cliche saying of
you you've all been in early some of you have been in even earlier than others but even at this point
it's still so early and i think i i actually look at the the collection sometimes
and i sit there and i'm and i'm like it's such a cliche thing to be like looking at it and thinking
people don't even realize that how how low an entry what we have come in how low an entry they're
going to get for coming in now and it's it's that thing of web free is that you can never put i don't like pushing um i like people to organically find us
but it's getting to a point now where it's like i really want people to enjoy what we're building
because we're putting so much time and love and effort into it so this is me doing that terribly
but i want you guys to to be excited for it and what's coming because it is honestly
it's up there with some of the best some of the biggest some of the brightest in the space um and
i don't think people will be able to deny that once they see it as well um so yeah i'll finish
