on this on these rocks like kind of near the shore but not like stuck on these rocks and i was like
oh he's fucked up i was like oh and then i like i think i might have been there with the girl that i was
dating and um i was like oh i'm gonna go save this turtle and literally i went over there and i picked
up this turtle and he was just like he looked like he was kind of fucked up like he was chilling
but then right when i right when i grabbed him he's like went crazy like hey what the fuck
and then i just kind of like picked him up and
carried him over and like put him in the water but he was going crazy the whole time and then a

of the power of mushrooms and then not only accessing like extra creativity, but just
certain ways of thinking that you had no idea you were capable of. And I say that as a seasoned vet
in psychedelics. I've done very, very many in my life um i kind of stopped doing them
several years ago um just because i got busy in life and just didn't really have time to
recreationally do it as much but i still do it once every couple of years and i never regret it
i mean it's just it's it's a beautiful experience uh physically but mentally is where it's even more
important and um as long as you're safely dosing with them and you know your limits and uh you're
in an environment that you feel comfortable in uh i think it can i think it's beyond therapeutic in fact i think it's
better hot take but i think it's better than most forms of modern medicine bagel dude are you

i'm on mushrooms i have the feeling to want to tell someone i'm on mushroom i know i know it's

know they you just go around about your day like I remember one time I took too many mushrooms and
I was in Orange County I was at this grocery store and I was just like the whole like side
of orange juice I was trying to get started moving and started doing all this like weird
vibrational type of vibes and I just started laughing and I look over and this like house mom
is like smiling at me and she starts laughing and I'm like I'm not gonna tell her what I'm laughing
at and we're just gonna just this is just a friendly interaction but uh sometimes you gotta
just take it as that and keep it to yourself because, but in your head, you want to say like,
like I'm on some shit and this is awesome,
but it's like you can't convey it the way that they're going to receive it,
that you think at that moment, you're, you're,
you're just way too optimistic. Honestly, there's this in your head.
You're like, I'm just so optimistic about this shit.
They know how this feels, right?
And it's going to feel great to tell them that I'm experienced this
awesomeness, but they don't take it the way you want them to take it so it's kind of like
keep it to yourself that's my honest like i obviously keep it to myself all the time
and i'm just doing way better than if i didn't keep it to myself i've done the research i did
it for you man but i'm just i'm glad you told us now because i've done that before too because
it's different because like we don't have to like fucking you don't have to get in my biosphere like
it's different when you're in somebody's like actual physical space and you're like hey i'm
on mushrooms you don't know them that well they're like oh well how's it going but if you do know them

took a heroic dose at work I was a cashier I was a cashier at a grocery
store and I took a fat seven grams like right in the middle of my shift no it
was so much fun dude and it didn't impede on my ability to work like at all

Bagel it was intense. Okay. I was I used to live in Cypress, California. Okay. I lived with another jiu-jitsu guy
He was a purple belt and at the time I was a brown belt. This is like over ten years ago. So
Randomly we had this weird ego thing with each
other. We were always trying to outdo each other. If you know jujitsu, he was like this fucking
courageous, crazy little purple belt. He's always trying to fucking choke you out. He never ever
choked me out. He never got close, but we had this like ego thing with each other. So like one day I
was like, yeah, I'm going to take some mushrooms.
I'm going to go for a hike.
He's like, oh, I do mushrooms.
I was like, oh, okay.
I was like, you want to go for a hike and take some?
He's like, yeah.
I was like, let's do like a heroic dose.
Let's do a lot.
He's like, oh, yeah, I've done a lot before.
Yeah, let's do it.
I'm like, oh, okay, you have.
He's like, yeah.
I was like, well, I have 28 grams and we could just split it down the middle, like 14, 14 grams. He's like, yeah. I was like, well, I have 28 grams and we could just split it down the middle.

So we eat these mushrooms up and they're kind of wet still.
You know, some of them are wet.
Some of them are dry.
They were fucking gross.
We ate all these mushrooms and pineapple, pineapple, orange, oranges, orange juice, and all these mushrooms. Okay.
So we eat these mushrooms. I'm walking up this hike. We both walk in 45 minutes into it. I'm
like, these things don't even work. This is like, this isn't even real. These mushrooms are bunk.
We got the wrong thing. Literally right. When I that, I looked up to the sky, and the sky had like a crack in it.
And then there was like a Western theme song in the background that came on.
And then I had an instant feeling I was in a Western movie.
And I was like a type of character in a Western movie.
Like, it was hard to even put
to words the feeling I had but I swear to god I thought I was this western character for a second
I didn't know what I looked like but it was crazy and then my friend that I was with starts thinking
like we're gonna die I'm like how are we gonna die it's like hard to die we don't even have a guns
like I'm not gonna hurt you and you're not gonna hurt me like how are we gonna die it's like hard to die we don't even have a guns like i'm not gonna hurt you and you're not
gonna hurt me like how are we gonna die like how exactly you know but he's tripping he's kind of
going the other way so i'm like i'm gonna get away from this guy like i gotta take a break so
i started doing my own thing i'm hiking and then i turn into a fucking dinosaur. Okay.
And I'm serious. Like I turned into an actual dinosaur and it was from a certain like TV show that I used to watch as a kid.
And it sounds funny at first, but I looked down at my hand and I had a dinosaur hand.
And then I looked back and I had a shadow of a tail of a
dinosaur and I just thought to myself holy shit I took so many mushrooms like the first time in
history I turned into an actual dinosaur like these mushrooms were so strong I was so fucked up
that it made me think I was this dinosaur from this like show i used to watch as a
kid it's this had this little baby he would say like nakamama and they was called dinosaurs and
like i was the teenage son of this like fucking family and i was that type i don't know how i knew
but i just started thinking i was like i don't know what i'm gonna do i don't know i'm gonna
tell my mom about this shit and like show up and she's gonna be like who's this dinosaur
like talking and I thought I could definitely make money through like pandle like panhandling
like people on the side of the road they see somebody like oh that's a real looking dinosaur
and it's talking on some good looking makeup or whatever. So I was like, I could definitely make some money like that. And, um, it was just so fucking crazy. I was like, I did not think drugs
can actually make you hallucinate that much and that crazy and make you really physically see
these things. I thought it's like a little thing you see in your mind, but I was seeing it out of
my fucking eyes. I was looking at my hand and it
was a dinosaur hand. Okay. So, but the point of this whole story was once I realized, you know
what, I guess this is what I am. This is what it is. I accepted the situation. I was like, you know,
all right, I'm going to just figure it out. I'm going to make it somehow or another. I'm going
to make it. And then that's it.
And,
literally right when I said that,
I looked down and I had a normal hand and then I liked,
I looked,
looked behind me and I didn't have a tail.
And then I fucking was not a dinosaur.
Okay.
And,
there was other parts of this trip,
but it was a long trip for like 15 or 16 hours.
I'll only tell that part but i was literally
a dinosaur and then i had to convince myself that i'm still gonna make it and then it went away it
was kind of like you know they call it like a bad trip i was like dude i'm fucking stuck like this
it's like when you think drugs are gonna last forever you're like oh this is like i'm gonna
be like this forever but uh anyways it was fucking
crazy that is like damn near a dmt level experience my dude that is the beauty of heroic doses bro
you can actually start seeing scales and shit on your hands you're like oh look at that i'm turning
into a fucking lizard and man i think it's great fun but you know what that's because i've always
had an easy time distinguishing reality from fantasy.
So for me, with psychedelics, it never really mattered how high of a dose I took.
Because no matter how many hours of pure sacred geometry I was staring at,
I always just thought it was funny, man.
Just because I knew it was either fake in this plane of reality.
I mean, this is only going to make sense to you if you've done psychedelics.
I knew it was either going to be fake in the plane of existence that we live on on a day-to-day basis
or it was just real on this heightened plane of existence so like i look man i love shit like that
uh to some of my friends who have gone through it it's it's a little bit scary but i make a good
trip sitter because i'm like hey man it's okay like you're gonna be a human in about five hours
my guy but yo getting stuck can be a very scary thing and the thought loops that happen because of that
Very very scary ship. That is a crazy experience my dude. Holy crap
Yeah, these thought loops that you get caught in and then you get caught in like a bad trip
But you gotta like
If you have like experience with psychedelics, you have to like talk yourself through it
You gotta accept whatever your mind is throwing at you when you're on like a heavy psychedelic like that, because if you don't
accept it, you fight against it. That's exactly it. It's just showing you right away what's going
to happen. That's the same thing in real life too. Like whatever happens, whatever's happening right
now, that's what it is. And this is the exact reality it is. And it can't be anything else
because it was always going to be this. No matter everything that's ever happened to you ever
couldn't have ever been anything else. Cause the only thing that was ever meant to happen
is everything that's already happened to you from your life when started till right now
to every single person ever. That's just the way it is and uh some people they try to fight
that in real life and they put on different masks and do different things and you know
getting fed different like habits habit loops it's like life habit loops and then in these trips
you get in these thought loops and you go into this bad trip but the cure yourself right away is to accept where
you're at in that like bad experience or whatever it's trying to show you and once you accept that
it gives you like power to be like oh okay you know i'm i could overcome that i can get over that
and then that's the same thing in real life it's the same fucking shit our subconscious our
conscious is all like very connected but Like hard to get straight, you know
psilocybin is a very very powerful
Substance, um, it's definitely like not for everybody not for the faint of heart not for the weak-minded like I me personally
like I look at it as kind of like
Taking your brain to to the gym kind of because you have to exercise parts of your brain
Like I've said that are typically dormant throughout the day So I completely agree like you have to exercise parts of your brain, like I've said, that are typically dormant throughout the day. So I completely agree. Like you have to accept what's happening.
You have to accept that this is the result of the, uh, this is the result that was fostered
from the dose that you took and the better, and the more you just let it take you on that journey,
the more enjoyable it actually is. So you just have to be in this ultimate state of acceptance
because it's going to throw shit at you that you're not prepared for even on small doses i've had some of my craziest
trips on the smallest doses before maybe a more potent strain per se but i've had some of the
crazy experiences just on the smallest doses like i i think i only took like two and a half grams
at a martin garrix concert like four years ago i shit you not life-changing experience dude like
i don't even know why i couldn't explain it
like don't get me wrong i love that type of music but you know it was life-changing dude
it matters what you ate it matters your mood how like um you were probably receptive very receptive
to it so it probably just a hit it's just like good to go got you but yeah i know what you mean
and i know yeah i know you mean but i had mushrooms. I've had a lot of different mushrooms that at least the ones I've been getting from my friends. Like one time I took these mushrooms. I'm like, I was just so optimistic about everything. And I saw like the good. It was very like deep and it was hard to like really like say it.

But it was like you saw the good in every single decision.
Because I was just watching everything I was doing throughout the whole day.
And like some guy cut me off and like flipped me off and I was in Huntington Beach.
And then I like just smiled and I just kind of waved.
And then they like pulled up next to me all crazy.
And then I think they like just saw I was like like looked
like a fighter and then they were just like smiled at me and then they started saying sorry
and then I was just because I like smiled back at him and I waved and I was just really nice but
like it was just like everything that I did I could find like a good part of it and sometimes
we need that because like I feel like a lot a lot of things in our world are like so negative and negative and negative and this and that so many things bombard us
I mean there's a lot of things happen in the world there's just so much and like maybe in
your real life with your family or like with anything going on so it's good to have like a
day where you completely like unplug and you take some mushrooms you take an edible and you kind of like, just like,
I don't know this day. I was just like finding the good in everything. And it was like,
not just being overly like positive about, I was actually seeing like, it's like the,
the, the meaning of like a death behind it. And what could that do to the next family that's going to
help like like that that's not exactly actually i'm just kind of using that as extreme example but
i started just seeing things all that day just such in a positive light for whatever the
circumstance was because whatever things are that's what they are no matter what you want to
like say about a situation there's things that
are like one plus one is two in certain situations that you know two people know the truth and it is
what it is and that's already what it is you can't lie and dress it up people do dress a lot of
things up but i feel like you can't lie to yourself as much when you're on these like edibles and
these um like psilocybin kind of trips um you kind of talk to yourself as much when you're on these like edibles and these um like psilocybin kind of trips
um you kind of talk to yourself more honestly about everything and everything you're seeing so
yeah i'm good i feel like i'm getting too much into it but luck yucky ducks is starting right
