Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. GM GM everyone this is Rena here from the endowment and welcome to office our session
two there is no formal format from this it's myself on the endowment side and the lovely Brandon
helping out from the labs team to help facilitate and we're here to answer
questions that people have about the endowment the grants program because
that's kind of top of mind for a lot of people and just tried to be one with the
community today so we'll start bringing people up if you request to speak and answer your questions.
Before we do that, I just want to share kind of a couple things on my radar for right now.
So we are midway through the quarter, like Q1.
March is coming upon us and the quarter will end.
If I will be getting ready to host the first treasury committee meeting, um, in a few weeks time, I have scheduled office hours for the treasury committee members next week. So they'll be available to take feedback from the community and make sure that all of the items that are important to you make it to the official treasury agenda.
agenda. So it gets discussed the meeting and we can do the best that we can for the community.
So that's kind of my big update if I'm getting ready to host that first TC meeting
here in the Caymans and kind of making sure that we're addressing what's top of mind to the whole
community and our builders. Big item number two is our grants program. We launched our grants program a few weeks ago, and we're getting a ton of applications,
very creative applications from all different types of builders.
Many that have been in Stacks for a long time or have done one of the DevRel challenges
or hackathons, and a lot of new grantee applications who've never been in Stacks and they want
to join the Stacks community and be a part of us.
And so I and the endowment team are very excited to be reviewing all these applications
and closing out the application period on March 13th and then making the grantee award list.
So a lot of big things ahead from the endowment and we're excited to answer
questions. I think we have our first person up. Go ahead and take yourself off mute.
Hello everyone. Hello, hello. It's an honor to be here.
Yeah. Is this Miss Elena?
I really appreciate the opportunity to speak, you know,
I had a question, you know, the question goes like this.
So I was really curious, you know,
because the post Starks andowment account that I was made concerning the growth of Stax picked my interest.
And I was like trying to know, does Stax Labs and Stax Endowment offer partnerships with communities that want to grow the Stacks ecosystem and BITCO-NF applications?
I would say we're definitely open to the idea. We haven't done any in a formal sense,
but that's not to say that we don't do any. We're definitely open to a collaboration and such.
That's not to say that we don't do any.
We're definitely open to a collaboration and such.
If it's more community or marketing driven,
I think the email address to reach out to is marketing at stackslabs.com.
So it can go to the right team.
I at the endowment do not necessarily work on marketing initiatives
because our mandate is treasury management.
But please reach out to the Stax Labs team and get involved.
Yeah, really appreciate that. Really appreciate that. And also, I also am applying for the
grants program, you know, because I have this project called Bitcify Cabal. it's a growth engine for for for bitcoin defi and basically uh we are trying to
build uh a dow and also an unbounding layer whereby people can download an application and
they basically learn bitcoin defi through their phone like all all the documentation and everything being simplified and the progress progressions like you
can actually like learn bitcoin defy from from the comfort of your phone um without you going
to check for like multiple documentations and um that that's scattered across uh different different
uh business file applications so basically basically, I was applying for,
I'm currently applying for this project and I was like trying to like get feedback,
you know, concerning that.
Well, I can't give feedback live,
because that would be unfair for you
and like respecting your confidentiality.
But when we see the application come
come through we give feedback directly so like you will hear from me or someone also at the
endowment team like uh rest assured like these applications are read by our entire team so like
they do go to a human we assess whether they fit the stack's roadmap priorities, how does it fit from a DeFi or privacy or payment or community
growth perspective, and we are very open with what fits, what doesn't, and if it doesn't fit,
we'll actually give you areas how to refine your application so that you can definitely get funded.
So, like, that's something that we try to do our best.
Yeah, yeah, That was great.
You know, it's interesting because this is a very, very huge development.
Because the service, you know, the community service is really, really good, you know, from feedback you just gave me.
So, yeah, I will keep doing what I'm doing, you know, like apply and then complete the application and then I would love to get the feedback
Thank you. Thank you very much.
We appreciate the question.
because your name gets cut off
from my phone. Blocklift, how can
everybody. GM Yeah, GM everybody.
GM Wiener, GM the official staff to come.
I'm the founder of Blocklift and Blocklift is one of the growing projects in the ecosystem.
I'm really, really proud to say that, considering the fact that
Blocklic is the only social impact initiative in the ecosystem.
So I want to take this time out to appreciate everybody
for the support and the love and care
that we've been shown all the while.
Basically, I'm not asking a question,
but I just want to seek for the support from the ecosystem because I'm working on a very groundbreaking project
like an edtech startup in Nigeria and I do understand that Blocklift as an initiative, it's not something that I can actually, how I like it, I can actually,
you know, preach on a global scale, you understand, which is why I have thought of the idea of building a groundbreaking operating system for schools in Nigeria.
And what I'm working on is something that currently does not exist.
Obviously, we all know that there are edtech projects that's like education, tech startups that exist in this part of the world but there is none at
the moment that actually utilizes blockchain as part of his modus operandi
you understand none leverages on blockchain technology and that is where
we are coming in with a project called Ednova Ednova which simply means you
know bringing innovation into the education sector.
That is where more like you're coining the tools ED, which represents education, and
NOVA represents innovation.
So we are building a platform that would help head learning amongst both public and private
And as I speak right now, we are currently in talks with the Ministry of Education,
with some other agencies that we are trying to finalize some things with.
And what I'm actually seeking right now is i will be i would need the help of
a smart contract developer someone who is very very versatile in the space that can actually
help us with the blockchain integration of our platform do you understand so um that is something
i've been like you know cracking my head to like, you know, see if I can get someone.
But it has been very, very, very difficult.
So that's the reason why I decided to speak to see if I can get the help of the foundation.
Probably they can refer me to someone that I can just speak with.
So basically, that's my reason for, on this PicoRoo. So I'm open to anyone or any recommendation from anyone in this space.
I really appreciate the message.
What we can do is DM the lab's handle, and we'll get you in touch with some of our dev rel team who can help point you to
engineers and such that are clarity engineers whether they're with the labs folks or within
the ecosystem to help match you so dm the labs handle so the dev rel team can help you out
uh thanks very much i will do that i think someone rafi rafi core i think they just reached out to
me let me let me attend to him.
So thanks very much for your response.
We want to be able to help anyone that we can.
let me grab our next person one moment I have M Emanuel next and then it will be
Let me grab our next person one moment.
paper to screen so Emanuel, are you there?
So, GMGN Stacks BTCtc and everyone this place yeah so this is my first time
doing this space and i just found this place and i'm just hopping to this place to know what you
guys are you know saying or building you know i'm saying all right so the guys are building on btc blockchain right yeah so um i wanted to ask
um you guys have any token in the market you know um postigy or or is there any
pretty g or are you guys still anticipating on that like i want to know
cool i appreciate the question so i think um as most of the community members are here
there is the stx token in market it was launched in 2018 as the first reg a plus token it is the
utility token of the stacks network what's really interesting about the stx token is that you can
stake it or stack it in our language and earn a
Bitcoin yield. And there are a number of projects that are getting ready or preparing for their
future TGEs on the DeFi side. Some of the ones that are pre-TGE, but their teams are making sure
they have the appropriate traction is the Hermetica team, the Zest team, the StackingDow team, the Bitflow team. So there's
a lot of really amazing builders in our ecosystem who are hustling as hard as they can to get ready
to launch. And then on the other side, we have a fairly vibrant meme coin community. So shout out
to Leo and kind of all of those. But there is a lot of projects to explore and you should use the
STX City or Stack Screeners app or the apps that Rubes has developed to find out about more tokens.
So thank you for coming in and dropping into our space and being a part of our community.
Yeah, thank you for answering the question.
Is there any collaboration or partnership with other projects?
And what is you guys supply of the token?
I can also check on that. So we do collaborate with other ecosystems, but primarily it's only for the SBTC asset.
SBTC is a tokenized Bitcoin asset that's one-to-one to Bitcoin, and so it will be collaborated to go multi-chain.
However, I obviously cannot speak for other projects and how they wish to take
a collaboration approach thank you very much let me bring and thanks for coming
into our space let me bring up person
Gwin, how can I help you today?
Yeah, should I say good morning?
Should I say GN? Did I get rugged by X again?
Did I get rugged by X again?
I think we lost our person.
So, Hunter, you're up, buddy.
You know, we're just trying to survive, I swear.
I just saw Stagg BTC in the space, you know. I just appreciate howagg business in this space, you know, I just wish I should
tune in because it's been a while.
It's been a while since the days of the 100 days of giveaways.
I don't know if you guys are right.
Yeah, because I used to be a member of the Welsh community.
So, you know, I just chose to come support because Stagg is one of the of the Welsh community so you know I just chose to come support because
Staxx is one of the best community I've ever joined you know
we see they are doing Bitcoin so yeah you can't feed Staxx. So one love guys one love
just came to show up yeah. Well I'm biased but I also think
Stacks is one of the best communities
and I think we're one of the most thoughtful
communities that's fairly active
so thanks for coming to hang out
for a few minutes and we appreciate
kind of all the good vibes
John, I think, let me see who's coming up next.
John, I think you are up.
I think John might have gotten rugged.
Yeah, I am. Can you hear me?
Okay. Sorry about that. GM, everyone.
So I want to make inquiries about liquidity providers for stocks.
I've been checking. I haven't found any. Do you guys have any partners that provide liquidity on stats?
Could you maybe clarify what you're asking?
Are you asking, is BTC supplied in our DEX pools?
Or what are you looking for with the BTC?
Yeah, so I'm looking for liquidity providers that provide token swapping, bridging, for both crypto-to-crypto and crypto-to-local currencies on Stacks, but I haven't been able to find any.
crypto to crypto check out Bitflow it's one of the dex aggregators in the ecosystem that swaps
any um SIP10 stacks token to another SIP10 they also have integrations for runes as well if that's
kind of something of interest for local currency we work with on ramper so they're an aggregate for
like 150 countries where they do the on and off ramps from fiat or stable coins to stacks and then vice versa. So those are kind of the two bigger ones. at labs, I think Ileana and Kenny and Eric and others,
if there's more that they can provide guidance to,
if you want to drop a DM to the labs handle,
Happy to help. Damn, who do, T3 kit, what's going on?
I think we're... David, you're up.
Oh, GM, GM. So sorry. so sorry hey i guess i was wrong i hope i'm audible now
I can hear you. What's going on? How can I help?
Okay. Okay. Yeah, GM, GM, GM everybody. Okay. So I'm not the founder of C3Kids. I was on the space the last time the space was held.
So I kind of reached out and you asked,
I guess you gave me the permission to send a DM,
which I did, but I'm here to get your attention.
So, okay, let me just probably see what i have to say uh we've been working on
c3 kit for a while and we'll be launching by march 2nd which is next week so it's actually
a platform for onboarding new users into the space and we have a lot of great features on the platform, right? A lot anyways.
So we are trying to position a staff ecosystem, of course. So also...
T3, I might have lost you for the last minute.
I heard that you're working on something for onboarding.
Paper to screen, maybe if you want to come up, and then David as well.
come up and then David as well.
Yeah, I'm fine right now.
Jem Jem Stacks, Jem Jem Studios, Stacks ecosystem community.
So I just have a few questions. I did drop a message after the last office hour, last two weeks, but it seems we've been
So a new developer in the ecosystem, not that new.
I've been working on something shortly before the endowment grant stuff came up.
I was wondering if I could still apply or is it just for the OGs?
So that has been why I haven't really applied because I was thinking it's only for the OGs.
No, it is not for the OGs.
Everybody is always welcome to apply.
For what you're looking for,
use the track that says getting started
and that will be the right track for you.
Thank you so much for that.
We would never exclude someone from applying.
We want to see every type of builder apply, whether you've been five years in stacks or five days.
Like we, the entire purpose is to grow our community and grow our ecosystem as a whole.
So we have a lot of amazing builders.
Some of the OGs actually hanging out with us.
I see you, TripMonkey and Rubes.
So we have a bunch of OGs already hanging out with us. I see you, TripMonkey and Rubes. I see you both. So we have a bunch of OGs already hanging out with us, but then we want to make sure that we're
prioritizing others to come into. I hope that the endowments program is always inclusive.
Oh, and oh, actually, there's a lot more OGs, Algorithmic and Hero. Ooh, I see a Shannon. Like, what's going on? So many stackers.
But David, please apply for a grant.
Like, I hope to see your application.
Do I apply while working on the program?
I could still apply with the idea why I trade on the project.
Please do. I will look out for your application so that I can find it and get it reviewed in a very timely manner. So thank you. Paper to screen or T3 kit, can I help you guys?
Earth to T3 kit, are you back?
And paper to screen, how can I help you as well, please?
What questions do you have? What can I answer? And obviously anybody, like what questions do you have what can I answer and obviously anybody like what questions do you have if they're non grants related I'm still paper to screen or if anybody else wants to request to come on please hit the
request button so we can get you up on stage
GMGM, Daniel, what's going on?
It is sunny outside outside and i am not
in the snow so i am happy oh my god are you in the north forest of the country that's what i'm
i'm guessing no i'm in the cayman i'm in cayman island
okay even better yeah i am in sunny ari. It is blue skies all around.
It's around 75 degrees, which is considerably cold for me.
Dang, you got some great weather.
Yeah, very great weather.
I've been a long fan of Stacks.
I've followed some of you guys in the past.
I even saw you guys at the Bitcoin conference last last year i hope to see you guys there again this year we will definitely have folks from stacks around the bitcoin
conference i don't know who exactly is going yet but there will definitely be a community presence because wherever Bitcoin goes, so the Stacks.
Well, when I joined, when I started, you know, playing around with Stacks,
and it's because they have this product that was called Gamma.io,
and you guys were doing a lot of NSTs and things like that, like fun stuff back in the day.
a lot of nfts and things like that like fun stuff back in the day um and i've been like literally
outside of the news circle what is stacks doing now um what is it you're talking about brands
and whatnot but what is it that you guys trying to build for now yeah no that's a great question. And shout out that you were here from the Gamma era, which is like the OG Stacks NFT marketplace that did Bitcoin ordinals and such.
What Stacks is doing is fairly public.
It's on our roadmap, StacksRoadmap.com.
But we believe that we are kind of the rails for BTC.
So like Stacks is essentially the scaling
solution for btc you can do btc payments through sbc which are more cost effective than lightning
and do kind of a lot of bitcoin so like we have a dual sticking product in market right now where
you can stake your bitcoin you can stake your stacks when you earn and yield denominated in BTC. So it's one of the only projects on market that is always historically, one, paid out in Bitcoin
for our rewards, but two, like kind of respects the Bitcoin L1 and submits transactions back to
the security budget of the L1 because we fundamentally believe that there should be a Bitcoin standard.
I'd say from like the other side of stacks, there is a very growing DeFi community.
There's apps like Zest and Hermetica and Bitflow and Granite and a whole host of others where
you can access kind of Bitcoin denominated kind of DeFi opportunities. Most Bitcoin opportunities were always done through like WBTC
or something that kind of required you to do the custodian wrapper.
Stacks is more of like a, almost like akin to native,
as close as you can get to BTC.
So we're very heavy on the DeFi and kind of staking side,
but then we have a lot of really wonderful community members who takes the culture and creativity and the artistic side of Bitcoin, which a lot of it actually originated from some of the early days of Gamma.
Yeah, I know. I hear you for sure.
On the proof of transfer type of technology you guys are using.
So if it's just someone like me, right?
I play with DeFi, I play with NFTs, I play with Bitcoin and other coins and whatnot.
If I want to be able to participate in this economy with Stacks
and potentially, you know, get a grant or
create something, build something, what would be the first step that I should take?
I'm sorry, you cut out just slightly.
I heard NFTs and DeFi, but what was the second part of your question?
I want to make sure I address it.
Yeah, no, I was just kind of leading into someone like myself with that kind of experience from the past and wants to participate
in the SACS ecosystem, you know, with either a grant, applying for a grant or just volunteering
or doing something. What would you recommend be the first step that I take? Well, the first step
is getting involved with the community members here on this call.
I have to say we have some of the OG community members who actually built the community.
So Algorithm and TripMonkey, Mr. Wagney, we have a lot of the OG builders, HeroGamer and Rubes all here.
We're a very welcoming community.
wants to build with bitcoin on the grants front i have the grants program live on the endowment
website so if you go to stacksendowment.co backslash grants um there is a track that's
called getting started and that's for brand new people or um coming into stacks and have like a proof of
concept or something that you want to build um we're happy to fund and get you kind of along
the way so like please reach out and in terms of getting connected to most of our community members
um there is a fairly active discord space that has kind of all of the ogs and such and then um honestly put out
a post on the stacks forum come join our forums and go hey hey i'm trying to meet you and uh
ask and you shall receive that's pretty that's pretty cool thank you appreciate it i want to
take too much of your time you guys are are awesome and hope to see you this year
Paper to screen, you there?
I noticed each time I made a request to speak, I just got rocked out. I kept coming back in and out. I didn't know what happened. Anyway, I'm here. I have a question. The question is on the
program overview of the Starks Endowment Grants doc so there's a part that says i think
it also applies to the builder grants as well as the getting started and so i wanted to ask
a particular question which is more of like um like i am questioning or probing your program management structure in this area.
It says funding for unique ideas.
I'm reading from the getting started part.
It says funding for unique ideas to build a beta or pilot demo
to show new traction and graduate to another grant program.
Likewise, the builderer Grants party talks
about new and existing builders could seek mentorship. Invariably, what it's just saying is
that it seems like Stax Endowment already has a way to transition. Everyone who has been able to
successfully get a Builder Grant or getting started going to transition them into
more like graduate them into another grant program so my question here goes um
for someone like so what i'm building is i just i just finished i was one of the cohort three
grantees and after building cinex and going out to get beta users, because it's a filmmaking financing solution, it started as crowdfunding. validate users to understand what real filmmakers here in this part of the world
want with financing in filmmaking and creative media.
And when we came back, we discovered that what they want is more than just a crowdfunding.
And after sitting with Seth Zuz and Gaririga at the Clarity Working Group,
I just realized that we needed to pivot from just a crowdfunding
so um what we're trying to build now is a pilot commissioning engine to pilot to create an engine
that will feed um that will feed our markets and literally be like the engine that will begin to
bring in the market onto the platform so i I have a question to ask. If people will be graduating from each grant program
to another grant program, I need to know,
are you saying that there is a structure
that immediately can take each grantee,
each successful grantee from this program,
immediately transition them to another program
so that the life cycle of their program program, this program that we're building with
Cinex actually has, I already have built the entire program management
structure and all of the monitoring and evaluation framework, the validation
sprint, it's a whole framework I've been building.
And so I would like to protect the life cycle from being cut short.
I'd like to know if this grant, the grant program that Starks Endowment is building,
has a format to ensure that projects that are successful
and come out with the milestones and deliver
work can transition quickly to a grant program so that the um the life cycle the period within when
you've validated one particular milestone or deliverable does not get caught shots
in the moment when you're waiting for the next grant program imagine having to wait another one
two three months before you get get another grant. Is there something
that quickly transitions and graduates so that the gap, what's the word I'm looking for,
it's like that particular gap between one time to another time does not get too long
before one continues the life cycle. Thank you.
Yeah, I think that's a super valid and fair question. So I appreciate it.
The way the grants program is structured is that when you apply for one, it's a quarterly grant
program. So they're not cohort based or anything like that. They're just fixed time periods because
that's generally how Cayman compliance works. So that's why they're quarterly. That's why they're
time based. But essentially, when you apply for one one grant program and let's say you're accepted, say you receive
the award with the milestones that you're doing for the first grant, it means that you can still
apply for the next quarterly time period for another grant. Like you can definitely continue
to apply for more grants. They're just quarterly based. So you don't need
to have like it memorialized formally in that regard of like, do you graduate for one or another
when you are seeking a grant, as long as the program is open, like during the application
period, apply and try a different track or try if you started with getting started, then you're probably now have proven some traction or X, Y, and Z.
So you're looking for a larger grant and that would be the builder.
So you can always apply quarter after quarter.
There's no issues with that whatsoever.
Okay. Thank you. I have one more question.
So in my risk management plan for this project,
for this validation sprint,
there is a particular mitigation column that I definitely,
I pinned down to work with Stax technical advisors help with um some of the i'm i'm a
smart contract dev right so but then um at the point where i think because of the market um
feedback we've gotten there's going to be need for me to have some form of technical oversight
like senior ogs one or two so i've been i've had good relationship with Gary Riga and St. Zeus so I want to ask
to know if through this program while applying um there'll be opportunity for Stax endowments
maybe through Stax labs to assign um maybe Gary or Seth or any other person, even though I've intimated Gary about it,
and he just informally anyway said he would love to help.
But you know, it's just informal.
It's not something yet documented.
I'd like to know if, just in case,
these are OGs that are quite very busy.
St. Zeus is quite a busy person.
But just in case they are not available,
I'd like to know if if um stacks endowment through
this program and with stacks labs we would have an arrangement for projects like smart
contact days like us who would need some technical oversight technical advisors you know to help with
um certain areas so that we direct technical assistance where we need more like fractional
cto kind of something not like someone who is working with us but like a fractional cto
um when i mean fraction i mean someone who just comes and checks us and helps us um um you know
make sure we are aligned with the technical aspects yeah that's my second question yeah no that's that's a great question
to ask I we don't have like a like a formal program of um you know borrow someone from labs
to be a fractional CTO but what I can say is um anything that you think is important or exposed
to risk or smart contract risk we always have like a roster of
community members who want to help with these things setsu she named is one of the ones who
have spearheaded their original orange hats program and has been very involved and so
that is like we have that roster kind of available of people the The other thing that's yet, I haven't announced it yet. So
here we go. We're breaking the sharing the thing before it's formally announced.
We are rebooting the accelerator program. And so that is a great venue to one,
seek actually a safe investment into your company, but to get matched up with mentors, like one on one hands on.
We have a bunch of mentors that vary from product and engineering to marketing and BD or ops like
me. And so that might be the best fit for like a future state for you. But if you want to put out
a post in the forum of I have this project and I'm looking for formal
kind of engineering guidance, put the post and tag me on the post in the forum and I'll
make sure that somebody from the engineering side jumps in for you.
Okay, so when you say the forum, you mean the Stacks forum?
Okay, so you're also Renisha on the Stacks forum or there's the Stacks forum. Okay. So you're also Renisha on Stacks forum.
I think my name on the forum is Crypto Arena.
But if you look on the forum, I have a, it should be Crypto Arena, if I'm not mistaken.
And you'll see like posts for me about the grants programs and other things.
Like it shouldn't be very hard but it's
crypto arena okay so the news about the accelerator it's tough you just talked about where can we get
the it's not live yet like i haven't even announced it because you asked about mentorship i'm like
well you know you just got the alpha alert because we are getting everything ready to get
But put a post on the forum.
We will get you connected to someone.
Who do we got next what other questions can I help answer
Anybody else want to come up on the stage?
Well, if there's no other
questions I want to say of course
hosting these I love getting to
know everyone I love answering questions
and most importantly like I want
to provide as much transparency as
request and then I'll do our outro.
One second, I see you coming on stage.
I'm not even going to pronounce.
Is it like your bend or something?
Hey, how are you doing? Hey, how are you? I'm pretty good. Actually, I think two weeks ago, I met Stack's team in Lisbon, in Portugal. And I think I met Elena, I guess.
You met Eliana. That's so amazing.
Yeah. Yeah. And it was really nice, you know, like what you guys are building. and we were actually at the vibe coding at that
time because i think you were with the talent protocol i guess at that time and uh and i was
talking to her regarding what we are building actually uh it's a cross-border payment application
using stable coins so we are like using digital settlement rails instead of banks you know and uh we already like
processed some half a million in volume and 600 600 plus users uh so i was thinking like how can
you know stacks can help build us a stable coin uh you know on your directly layer two and
on your directly layer two and we are like four or five people in the team currently and we are
like a us-based company so how can stacks help in this infrastructure if we are if we want to build
a stable coin for using crossword payments not for public it's basically a private stablecoin because on the back end we
use fiat to this stablecoin conversion auto conversion and deliver into the local you know
payments because we have some licensing partners from the us we also have some licensing partners
in the europe and also have liquidity partners in different regions like in India in Brazil in South America
How can you looking to have a white label stable coin or are you looking to use one of the stable points?
That's already live our ecosystem
Um in case you missed it. We have a usdc asset issued by circle and staffs already
use the one that's already in the market
much easier to start now?
That's the thing. I would suggest
It's called USDCcx it's um available directly on the stacks
bridge on the website it is uh hold on let me make sure i like give you the right bridge website but
it's um okay hold on brandon what's the bridge website I haven't bridged today. Well, it's on the stacks.co website.
And if you search bridge, it will come up.
And this is officially issued by Circle in partnerships with Stacks.
So our entire labs team has built this product and bridge in conjunction with Circle.
And we do maintain it um okay like this
is our baby so i would use that asset first and kind of integrate it into your remittance rails
and see how it works for you and then maybe explore what comes next and is there any possibility
have an off ramp like using off ramp for example we have some b2b clients in europe
and they want to you know sell crypto to conversion into euro so you guys also have that kind of
facility like our service we work with we don't have it in-house it's like a product that we
have built however we work with a number of on off-ramp and on-ramp partners like MoonPay, Transact and OnRamp.
Those are very expensive, actually, because their fees are really high.
Because what we are doing is, you know, normally the banks charge 5% to 7% for immigrants,
to freelancers, you know, who are digital nomads.
We are charging like 1.5 percent only with people and on the back end what we have
is basically the licensing partners i was talking about it's basically from circle you know about
condo it right yeah so condo it is basically uh is the liquidity provider and auto conversion so
they have like very i mean i cannot discuss the pricing right now here but
it's like very very low for for the companies you know to uh issue stable coins uh and convert it
back into fiat that makes a lot of sense i'm only i only know about the providers that are
currently integrated to stacks um just like because I'm not with the labs team.
I'm on the endowment side.
However, if you want to reach out to the BD team,
the Twitter handle will be ShaleyA.
Shaley is on the BD team.
Or Jonas.BDC, also on the BD team.
They can help point you at some of the other partnerships they have
in the work okay okay uh can you write their uh twitter handle in the chat i'll tag them for you
okay thank you thank you very much because that's the because uh main thing we want to do
now because i send her the details and the blurb of the project so she said maybe you know the
company will help you in the grants or maybe in the fundraise because we are currently fundraising
right now that makes sense well let me get you connected to the bd folks who can help
streamline some of the other on-ramp and off-ramp providers that they're working on
working with and hopefully they're at a significantly lower cost.
So thank you for flagging that.
Well, thank you very much.
Anyone else have questions?
I know we're coming up on the hour mark,
but I want to make sure that
anybody who has something they want to share or questions that you get answered.
Anybody? Cool. Well, since we're coming up on the hour mark one, I want to say thank you. I love coming on Spaces and hanging out with you guys and hearing directly on what's important. Now I know that our off rent fees are too high and I need to work on that. And people are looking for significant grant funding. I appreciate everyone sharing what's bothering them and where I can be helpful.
Our next Twitter spaces will be on Monday.
It will be at 12 Eastern.
And it will be a special Twitter spaces that I would love for everyone to join.
It will be with a full Treasury Committee.
It will be with a full Treasury Committee.
So during CIP 31, a Treasury Committee that was appointed from the community is basically like the governing kind of board of the endowment.
I take feedback and direction of community matters from them for how the endowment kind of goes through operations.
So we will have quite a few TC members.
So we will have quite a few TC members.
Andrea from BFF is one of our TC members joining the space.
A community favorite, Jack Ben Switch will also be joining the space as his role as the TC member.
Alex from Labs and a few others.
I think Jonathan from Signal 21 and Dylan from Bitflow.
So pretty much the entire TC will be there. They want to hear from you of
what you want officially put into the agenda and for their discussion of review of what's going
well with Stacks, what's not going well as priorities, whatever you want to see, come to
this basis and ask the TC to go to work for you. So thank you. I'll announce that space on X just shortly, but we will see
you there on Monday. With that, it's a wrap. Thank you guys so much for hanging out with me for an
hour. Really appreciate it. Take care, y'all. Thank you.
