It's probably not the right space to like individually name people because the contribution is widespread.
Not only for just what's going to happen today, but what's been happening
really since the birth of Board Ape Yacht Club, Yuga Labs, turning in Apecoin and Apechain and I think, you know, going all the way into what's happening
now with NFTs on Apechain, it's exciting. It's obviously something that has sparked a culture,
a movement. And in a lot of ways, I think it sparked something that we haven't seen
in NFTs collectively in quite some time.
You know, we saw on the timeline this week, a lot of people, NFTs are back.
I don't think NFTs ever left.
So I can't really agree with that.
I just think, you know, maybe, maybe some of the quote unquote KOLs are back,
which is, you know, discretionary good, discretionary good or bad.
But it's exciting. It's exciting for me to be here it's an honor to be co-hosting on this
space and you know Rita you know all the contributors thank you guys in advance
pumped to see some of the team from you get here today Garga quit and, and we even have a PP Man sighting.

I'll just say that the culture on Ape Chain
is fucking amazing.
And I've been in the space five years.
I never used to do spaces until I found the Ape Chain.
It really is like a fucking family vibe.
I've only been there about eight weeks.
I feel like I know everybody on the chain.
Everybody on the chain made me feel so comfortable
that now I'm fucking cohost in a space
with fucking Garg and Rita and Poppy on the stage,
which is amazing.
So yeah, I mean, I could speak, like I says,
there's always been kind of, you know,
rallying around projects, but I've never seen people rally around a chain and kind of support
each other like I have on Ape Chain. And it's something definitely unique and something
definitely magical is happening. Thank you, Poppy and Shiba King and Amp for this great idea.

Now the cross chain is really impossible to get founders to come in together and really just discuss like what's going on and
Five months on a chain and a lot of these guys that came in october
really paved the way
no listed this so many people on that lesson in the audience and on the stage
segueing over the like the bear market vibes of the last four months
it we don't even feel it i wake up every day and we've been
bloody red on every chart possible
and i'd change just week-over-week
day-over-day month-over- we're consistently green and we're onboarding extremely
well through other chains every blue chip on ETH knows about a chain at this
point I can't say everybody owns an 8 chain NFT but that's why we're here
today there's a lot of 8 chain NFTs that were given away every single founder on
a chain is giving away something today so it was just everybody same consensus let's on board and let people know what are
actually doing here and what sets the difference between abstract or some of
these other chains on how they were kind of just created over the last six six
months they know a last few months in why a chain seems to be doing a lot
better all around when it comes to just vibes and and price points and even
entry it's just it's just a lot easier to around when it comes to just vibes and, and price points and even entry.
It's just, it's just a lot easier to jump in on this chain.
So yeah.
Yeah, I agree with that.
And I think because of that, like the, you know, the culture, it's not, the culture is
more abundant than anything that we've seen because, you know, NFTs are calculated in
the native token and people are having
a lot of fun, especially now.
I think the first few months were a lot of testing, but now there's an established, you
know, baseline and a lot of good projects are way above that.
And that was what was appealing for me.

Well, honestly, it's exciting to have Garga, Quit, PP Man,
some very notable pieces of the Yuga family,
and of course, one of the co-founders of the whole deal on stage with us.
And, you know, uh, appreciate you guys coming.
I honestly, it's a, it's a great surprise cause I didn't know you guys were going to
pull up, but, uh, maybe, maybe we'll toss it over to you first, Greg.
And, you know, just hear from you.
What are you excited about?
Not just with this, I'm sure it's a very happy moment for you to see multiple
chains collabing, multiple projects collabing, and multiple leaders in the space collabing.
But thanks for coming. Greg, how you feeling, buddy?
Yeah, I'm doing great. I'm here on my little lunch break. I got my Chick-fil-A. I got my spaces.
I'm happy. Yeah, I'm super stoked with how the last, you know, five, six months
have gone with Apechain. Like, when I stepped back in as CEO of UGA, you know, just about
a year ago at this point, you know, we weren't involved on really on the Apechain plans at that time. We stepped in, credit to Figgy and PB in particular and James,
for helping architect this thing starting last spring.
And you know, I think my biggest contribution, one-off contribution,
was I was like, fuck it, let's announce this thing at ApeFest.
Like everybody else wanted to just like release it two weeks before.
I was like, what if we just make it way harder and way more hype
and like surprise fucking launch at ApeFest?
And credit to everybody.
I think it was a beautiful moment.
And while we saw meme coins
take off for a little bit
on our own Apechain native launchpad, Apexpress.
But it really was NFTs in that culture that I think, you know, it's no surprise that's
where we all found each other.
That's where we all had the most fun.
So when we got our whole new chain to play in, that's the thing that's been sticky, driving community, driving values of the chain back. Um,
and I'm really happy that we had, you know,
our pricing everything in the native token and, and are able to like, you know,
just make trading and collecting fun again.
And that's really the space that we're trying to double down on from the ape
chain side.
And just broadly speaking, you know, like, look, there's no other way to say it.
Like the last administration had basically a stranglehold on crypto is, you know, trying
to kill and debank everything in our space.
And with that, with this kind of new greener pasture opening up for us in the first new buds of
this spring after a pretty harsh winter, I'm excited for how Yuga is able to get way more
involved in the development of Apecoin and Apechain and having more of a hand in things. And there's been the recent governance revamp AIP
that was approved about getting
an executive director involved
and treating some things more like a company
on the Dow and the foundation side.
And I'm super stoked for that.
And we're spending a lot of brain cells architecting
on how that could work better for everybody.
And yeah, I don't know.
I'm super happy.
And really, it just felt like these past six months, we've gotten back into our old ways
of doing things.
And the community and other founders building on Apechain have rally behind that.
So I'm just super happy and also very very grateful to my team. Most of them,
most of the leaders of which are up here on the stage with me, PB Quit, James, I think
Figgy's out there somewhere. Yeah.

I do agree that you stepping in as CEO was a really big move at the time, but we don't
often know the impact of a decision right away.
We know how the market reacted to that, but you know, I can't believe it's almost been a year and I think that it speaks for itself. So
we got to give you your flowers. Obviously you've surrounded yourself
with amazing people from day one and you know what's happening right now on
Apechain is actually incredible and the courage to step out and kind of create a sub ecosystem when, you know, there's so
much in the Yuga ecosystem already.
That was something that I think was very bold and is definitely working right now.
So again, shout out to you and the team for great leadership and courage in a pretty crazy
last few years. So massive

Yo, what's up? Yeah. You know, I think I'll talk about Apechain first
and then the decision to launch during Apefest.
It was really wild.
Me, Quit and PP were in the back room
when everyone was performing,
trying to make sure that everything was ready
so that I could get out there and actually be like,
hey, it's actually live and everything.
And it was very, very exciting and very, very fun.
And I think one of the interesting things about Ape Chain
is everyone was excited for it to come out.
And you don't really know what's going
to happen with this kind of thing when it launches
and how is it going to find its footing
and where is it going to find its footing.
And it shouldn't come in hindsight.
You're like, oh, yeah, of course,
NFTs are going to be one of the things that really, really
take off on Ape Chain specifically.
And it's been really, really incredible
over the past few months,
watching all these different communities sprout up
and just try and like, rally together.
And obviously like Rita and everyone has been like monumental
in making all these communities kind of come together
and stay afloat and keep going.
And yeah, it's just been really, really great to see.
And I think the one thing that a lot of us in our space,
specifically Apechain, are always thinking of,
hey, how do we get more folks to come over here
and experience this?
And we're always like, well, we need to go out
to the other chains.
We need to do these collaborations.
And I'm so glad that Poppy, you, and Rita,
and all y'all had the decision to do this.
Like, hey, how do we start to,
I don't wanna say olive branch,
because it's not really PvP,
but we've decided to try and do this. And so I'm super excited to be here and talk
about all the good stuff. And yeah, yeah, just thanks for having me.

a group thing. And I've always just said, like, PvP PVP is the most pointless thing in this space because
you know the space is small and everybody talks about onboarding the masses but
you know when you've got tier one projects you know taking shots at each other on the timeline
how productive is that you know so doing this is like to me the most natural thing we can do
if we're united together regardless of the chain or the project or the politics, that's
where greatness begins.

I've always kind of been a proponent of all of our chains winning together.
So Apechain obviously is like home of N of T's, home of fun.
We've been building a really cool environment, a really, really cool community for everybody.
But there are apps popping up everywhere.
And I think if we can make it all interoperable, like the goal here is not just a successful
Apechain, right?
It's a successful
web three, we want the whole space to succeed. So yeah, I'm happy you guys put this thing together.
And one day maybe you'll get to see me and me and PP cart and you'll you'll see the truth.

Quit at some point. I think it would be productive to talk a little bit about
shadows as well and and while we have the you know the audience that we have
Based off our conversation last week. I'm like stoked. We're thinking about how we can use the tech to our advantage as builders in the space.
So if you want to maybe just go over that for a couple, it doesn't have to be a big thing,
but maybe you could just summarize what that is, because I'm sure everybody's seen.
I mean, I learned about it because I had a I had a punk in my Apechain wallet and I'm like,
hey, that's my punk on Apechain.
Should I click it?
Should I not click it?
Is it a drainer?
What is it?
And I think it's pretty important,
not just for Apechain,
but for the future of how NFTs move through the space.
I think it'd be productive to share at least 30 seconds
to a minute or a few minutes of what you guys have built.
Yeah, that's the cool thing, right? It's like, we built this tech and then
everybody has their own ideas of about how they'll use it. And so you'll see
read his idea really like what he's come up with. It's sort of shadow adjacent,
he's building his own contract for it. But but it'll be really cool when that
stuff comes out. And you had your own ideas that I probably
won't fill the alpha on your behalf,
but you have your own ideas for shadows.
And I think everybody in the community
is kind of thinking about them a different way.
And so zooming out, the concept really
started as just how do you prove board ape ownership on
ape chain? Because we have like, all right, great, we had an
ape chain launch, we have our daps on ape chain, we want to
give rewards like free entries to top trader or whatever it
may be to to ape holders. But we don't have an easy way to do
it because apes aren't there. And it was seemed kind of silly that board apes wouldn't exist on ape chain in some capacity.
So we set out to build shadows and it sort of evolved into like,
well, if we're going to do it for apes, we should do it really for every collection
because every collection is going to run into these same issues.
And apps want to reward different communities, it's not necessarily just apes, right?
So we built it for everybody and we built it for every chain.
And so now it's like super, super flexible.
Every single time I talk about shadows, I feel like I'm answering
a different question that I never even thought about before.
And that's one of the cool parts of it.
It's like such a flexible system and such a primitive
that all of the really cool use cases
are probably yet to be thought up even.
But for everybody in the audience,
the very like 30,000 foot view of shadows
is that on Ethereum, you have your apes and mutants or
azuki penguins you know whatever foxy fam super yetis your NFTs right they live on ETH or they
live on ape chain or they live in in one place and outside of that chain there's no easy way to show that you own it. And so Shadows fix that.
They replicate your ownership on every single chain.
And I'll leave it at that.
There's some technical aspects to it.
There's delegation.
There's all this stuff built in that maybe we can answer or talk about later.
But the very basics of it is that suddenly you don't just own your ape on
Ethereum you own it on a chain and base and every other chain that that we build support for
And that goes for every collection that we build support for as well So it just makes that ownership accessible for for developers for daps for users for for everybody that needs it
Yeah, that was that was literally perfect.
I think as you go deeper into it, the fact that it indexes, so when you move the NFT,
it goes to the new wallet, you know, the unlock lock feature, like all the components of,
you know, and the thought processes you guys went through, solve not just short-term issues
that may not seem that big, but I think long
term it really just creates, especially with gaming, right?
As Web3 gaming comes to life more and more, it really creates some super like turnkey
solutions which is definitely something that we're looking at internally on my side.
But I appreciate that because I don't think, you know, it was just a good opportunity to
really educate some people who probably don't even know what it is yet.

I think we started the cross chain endeavor kind of when cross chain, I guess, wasn't
as cool.
I think a lot of people kind of raised an eyeball when we kind of first launched on
Polygon and various other chains, whatever.
But we went through a lot of different chains.
And one thing I'll say is, I think a lot of people know this.
I worked directly on Apechain for, since we started it.
And it's been insane.
And I think one of the craziest things for us was the community is super strong.
And as I've heard several other people kind of talk about,
there's a lot of people deeply interested in getting on the Ape Chain and finding out more about it. And, you know, the creators are super passionate. And it's a lot of experienced people,
because, you know, a lot of the creators aren't first time in this space. It's a lot of, you know,

And you guys building? You guys have been there for 8 chain from day one.
Most of the successful projects came from BLEBBER, except we did Magic Eden, of course, but G's did Magic Eden.
But yeah, you guys have been killing it. And how's it going on abstract?
Yeah, it's going well, man.
I mean, on what you're saying, right, it's been a massive pleasure seeing so many projects that come through us at Bliver go on to like do so well.
And after a while, it really doesn't matter where your project came from.
No one really remembers that that much, except for you obviously do because you're the one
that launched the project. But it's cool for us to just like look back from our point of
view and be like, it's cool that these projects launched to us and we see so many of them.
Right. And I think part of seeing so many projects is that not all of them are going
to be successful. But it's cool to see the ones that go on to continue building
and continue trying new things and find
success after a long time.
As far as abstract goes, they're doing pretty well too.
First of all, we don't get nearly as many applications
on abstract as we do on Apechain.
I would say if I had to split and to just like, this is just like my gut feeling. I don't have the hard numbers in front of all, we don't get nearly as many applications on abstract as we do on Apechain. I would say if I had to split and to just like, this is just my gut feeling, I don't have the hard
numbers in front of me, but I would say probably 70% of the applications we get are for Apechain
project, if not more. But we've also had some awesome success stories on there and there's
some projects coming down the line that we're really excited for. But one thing that is pretty apparent on Apechain compared to other chains
is that if the, well, from what we see, the majority of people that are like trying to
do fun experimental things with NFTs right now are at least on our platform or coming
through Apechain.

I think that the team has been thinking and working on ways to improve Apechain.
And so this tool just basically allows anyone to create an account and fund that account on Apechain, all within two clicks. Just create the account with your Twitter, with Gmail, and then just put it in your face with Apple Pay and you're in on 8 Chain.
Which I think the coolest part of it is, and by the way, no KYC under $500, which is just insane to put in your ID if you're just trying to get a couple bucks in there. But the coolest part about this tool I
think is it really allows existing apps to expand beyond you know the current
what's called just degenerate Abe crowd that we are. It makes it very easy for
people to just jump with or without any prior experience. I think that there's a
lot of cool projects out there that I don't you guys follow Wong which is among one of my favorite
Eight-game projects these guys are basically going out with like random people on the beach
I don't know which beach they go to but they basically ask very random people like normies. Hey, can you mean like three?
cryptocurrencies or whatever and if they get it right they get some Apecoin or some Wong.

But the reality is that the you know the people receiving the coins probably have no idea what a

cycling to coins and now we see in my personal opinion it's always been a builder's market for
us but now we're really seeing the strong builds shine, regardless of what chain you're on. If you're on APE chain, if you're on ETH,
if you're on base, um, I personally haven't gotten involved on APE chain yet.
I've been watching it. I've seen great movements.
I've seen a lot of people telling me, you know,
all these NFE's are green over green, uh, month to month since launch.
There's a lot of action there. I also think right now, you know,
a lot of the brands, including ourselves and a lot of the ones on stage,
you know, you guys for years now have been investing
into your IP, some of you, you know, 3D modeling,
some of you guys building dapps around it, you know,
building ecosystems, building things that make our,

And one of my mentors told me a long time ago, you know, he said, you build what you
think is right and the people will vote with their money.

And this environment, all it's doing is really inviting people to collect.
It's inviting people to create and not just sit on the timeline and listen to KOLs who are, you know, most of the time paid to post things or incentivize to share opinions.

come give your thoughts. So I thought about some things, you
know, like I sat there, you know, I took an edible, you

seated position. And so I thought that's not what I meant
when I told you to think about it. I didn't tell you to go

Before I tell you my thoughts, I want
to give a shout out to Sheba, Pappy, Rita, three guys that
show up every day, know them all.
I've known them all actually for a long time,
so I do want to give them a shout out.
But I think one of the things is with,
and Pappy had said this, meta, right?
There's a lot of metas.
And it's happened.
It's happened to our ecosystem.
I mean, we launched an NFT on say,
say it was the hottest fucking chain for NFTs.
You go back a year ago, right?

And the problem with say, right?
And I don't wanna talk shit about them.
I really like the chain,
but the issue is they didn't have a foundation, right?
And I think that's the difference with Apechain
is there's such a large foundation of people
that really care, like really care, right? They show up every day. You look at how many people
have like UGA assets in here, or they have Apechain assets in here. You know, I keep tabs on
Apechain, obviously, but I think that's one of the cool things about Apechain is foundation.
And that's one of the reasons why it's not a meta, in my opinion, right? It's going to continue to
grow because you have a foundation of people that are
literally in this space onboarding right now.
Right. We didn't have that with say it was like, okay, let's get a whitelist so
we can flip this shit and hopefully make some money and make some money here and
make some money here. We started with 4800 unique holders and we went down to
like 1900 in the first like four days.
Like that tells you how many people were hungry for liquidity on that chain.
And so it's interesting because I've actually been thinking
about migrating over.
And so one of the questions I had for you guys
that are up here, some of the other founders
that are up here is beyond Ape Chain,
I know about Ape Chain, obviously,
I know the history about Yuga,
but other than that, why?
Why Ape Chain?
It's culture, obviously, the vibes are back,
art, community, love that, but why Ape Chain? It's culture, obviously. The vibes are back. Art, community, love that.
But why Ape Chain?
I'll give you a perfect example of why Ape Chain, Brando.
We made a call to host this space
and we asked for giveaways to onboard people
and we got $17,000 plus of giveaways.
Ape Chain moves as a group, as a community.
We don't do PVP, we don't do project versus project,
we don't do person versus person.
We move as a whole.
And whether it's on spaces or launches or projects,
that's the reason.
I mean, I hate quoting Casey Monteiro from the Saints, but I have
to quote him. He said, ape chain is the only chain with an actual heart. And like you said,
it's based on a community that's already built. But there are, I think, even a bigger percentage of people on Apechain
that do not own Yuga assets.
And this is their first entry or new entry,
but they're having fun on Apechain.
And hopefully everybody's winning.

when it comes to onboarding IRL to Web3. That's why I'm doing everything. All of my collections
that I'm dropping, everything that we're launch padding is all towards Ape Chain because that's
the future. It's the most approachable chain in so many aspects. So I think that it would be crazy to
not get settled in in the early days. This is very early days.
It's very raw. It's very rugged. There's so many opportunities.
I'm seeing it now with everything that I'm doing. There's
a lot of support from, you know, the higher ups on on the call
with, you know, you'll go legal on the weekly. It's amazing in a good way.
But yeah, dude, it's a very opportunistic moment
for Web3.
I think this is the brand out of all of the chains
that is marketable to regular people.
And I see it daily, I get approached by brands daily
to be able to see how they could integrate
into crypto and web three,
and everything is leading from a chain.
So that's, yeah, I just wanted to say it.
Like it's not just about,
like when you're thinking long-term future of this chain, it's not just about like, hey, how do we onboard, you know, Ethereum users and Solana users and Polygon users and all of these other, you know, the general mass that we need to keep
on going with NFTs and crypto, not just continue this, you know, vicious cycle jerk circle
jerk that, you know, has been the space for the last two, three years. So, um, get on
a chain like dude, you'd be crazy not to. So let me ask you this. Let me ask you this. Um, the second point I wanted to make was infrastructure.
One of the biggest pain points for other chains,
especially newer chains that are coming with NFTs is there's not enough
infrastructure. Say chain as an example, pallet exchange, sunsetted compass,
wallet, which was the most, uh, you know, used wallet and say at the time,
literally wanted, I wanted to have... I thought I
was going to have an aneurysm using that shit. It was painful. Literally, buying an NFT was the
hardest thing. And it was a huge pain point, right? And infrastructure is such a big thing.
So I want to ask, because I am going to buy an Apechain NFT either today or tomorrow. I'm going
to buy my first one. But I want to ask, is it Magic Eden? Is that the place to be? Like what other apps do you need to know about?
We just had here, we had Kaws from Lever. They're a good launchpad. We also had Hansome
from AIOW. They also have an amazing launchpad. Brian has something cooking on the launchpad level. But I just brought in, just to come up to that subject,
I brought up Prince.
They launched a project on a chain, which is Hopstars,
and their OG collection was DJN tunes on Eats.
So maybe he can chime in on this as an example.

But yeah, as you mentioned, Digentoon's launched on Eith and the bunnies for
Hopstars was originally planned since Mint.
And we knew when we were launching
this it was going to go across chain.
We had our considerations ahead of time before Apechain had officially launched.
Once we saw Apechain launch and saw the culture and just the way things were moving, we knew
instantly that's where we wanted to be.
So we reached out to Johnny from Magic Eden. He was kind of working with us in the background
before we made that switch. But yeah, you can't go wrong. These teams that are, you know, working
and building these marketplaces to protect, you know, projects and consumers. I loved working with Johnny and Magic Eden.
The cross-chain capabilities on the single platform is amazing. So if you have any chance

There's a different approach where we have Vanguard up here from the mutant cartel and

Uh rita poppy shiba everyone in the audience man a bunch of legends here in the
You know totally stoked to be a part of legends here in, you know, totally
stoked to be a part of like this vision that I'm hearing about.
Like one of the things I see is exclusive across the board here is getting as many people
to be able to participate in what's going on.
And like, you know, it's funny, one of the things you said here, Rita, just a few times
on the spaces here, which is just so great to see this turnout, is we leave the PVP strictly
for the next project dragging, for example, on the other side.
And that's one of the things that in order for us all to lift is to be able to look yourselves
in the mirror before you start the comparison game with others.
And that's what I see on Apechain is percolating at such a great level. And indeed, with us, we're certainly
a cross-chain formulation of how we're putting things together.
So we started on ETH, went over to Polygon
for some in-game micro-transactions,
for example, with SerumCity, and then over to Bitcoin.
And now we've come over to Apechain as well.
And that's kind of what you're alluding to here.
And for us with what we're building there,
we have what's called a Serum passport, for example,
try to be brief with this, but like we have the opportunity
to also bring what we're doing to this chain.
And this is where, again,
we're seeing a lot of fun taking place.
I mean, just look at the turnout for you too.
And it's like, the really cool thing about this is like,
there are so many
legends in here that are building so many different things, right?
And like the each one has a story to tell.
Right.
And, you know, I know we have the shock clock on, you know, it's this March
madness right now too, so certainly, you know, make sure we get this off before,
before the buzzer expires.
But, um, I just love what I'm seeing here across the board, you know, the
inclusivity, um, from. And in our regard too,
one of the things we're really excited about,
and I wanna see that cross pollination with is like,
for example, what's going on with the other side, right?
And Rita, you're the builder on record, right?
Anyone sees a 3D file,
they're looking for your stamp on it, right?
In some capacity.
And you've built with us in the past
and continuing to build with the Gs. And a shout out to to the project that you've created which
has really helped to elevate you know this space and we see all the you know the
logos and so many of the backgrounds here too and like um you know we're we're stoked to like have
that proximity um you know with with your community um you know of course with the Yuga community
and so many others um and kind of what we're doing you know to bring it all in together and to wrap it up is, you know, we're, you know, ourselves are putting
together a DAO which has its, you know, claimable passport on Apechain, right? And we want to
continue to support Apechain. Well, that's one of the biggest things for our, you know,
collective awareness is to bring, you know, the support there and also but continue to
foster that relationship across chains.
You look at the title of this space here, Ape Chain, ETH Base, and all the different
chains involved with it, and what's the best way for us to continue to bring that together?
I think that's the question we want to collectively ask ourselves and then be that change that
we want to see.
For us, that's an important aspect of what we're building and we want to continue to
see to take place.
And big, again, I can't give enough of a shout out to all the coordinators.
There was a group track going on and that is flying with all the different conversations
going on, the different people wanting to get their time.

Onboarding has been so easy for us.

Nobody's pressured to take 100 bucks
and plug in one project.
You could take 100 bucks and buy six projects.
There's about 15 or 20 projects that we have,

and it was PGP, but at the time we're're paying gas and it wasn't fun to pay gas.
So you know we always say entry to a lot of these NFTs were always a lot higher in the
previous you know metas as we would call them.
So that's why we think Apechain is going to do so well and then the price.
I mean everything's down in general but Apecoin is at what 52 cents and everybody in this
community has been building since like a dollar what dollar 30 maybe even a
little bit higher maybe ape was so even when we're in the bearish market I mean
Abe chain itself recovers we all come together and we don't sell we're not
we're not like working with the cell pressure that's appearing I know when
the rest of the markets we're pushing through the cell pressure and where
we're getting positive green weeks over weeks and it's been like that for a few months now.
So I'm not saying it's a safe haven but it's definitely a better place to be in vibe and
maybe not to just collect but long term collect hold on to these things for the next few months
because once a coin flips in price a dollar two three maybe even five maybe we can even
see that by mid year if the market can really turn,
and I think people are gonna really be kicking themselves
in the butt that they didn't grab just a handful
of Abechain NFTs that were maybe 20 bucks.
That could be easily $150 each,
which we've seen those percent movements across the board
from a handful of these collections when you go percent-wise.
So, yeah, really big changes.

and so many people have taken on new positions,
leveled up in this space.
And I believe Ape Chain has been huge for a lot of people
on an individual level in that sense.
So, you know, when you,
really you gifted me a G's a while back,
you know, when the floor was a lot lower.
And I think it was kind of like my first step into it.
I started paying attention a little more to that
and kind of everything that was happening.
And it seems like in the past two months,
like specifically a month or two,
there's just been a lot of increased wallet activity.
Floors are moving up.
The culture seems to be embedded quite well.
Like we almost saw an ETH two, three years ago.
So, you know, we've been on ETH for a long time
and I'll always love ETH,
but I think L2s play an important role here
in terms of branding,
where people wanna situate themselves
and how they can leverage certain communities
that are now sort of segregated into different blockchains,
but really building in the finality
is really still on top of ETH, right?
Like we're all very ETH-friendly and
very well-versed. And I think ApeChain is just, when you look at apes and punks and
kind of from the top down, you have all the big players at the top and you're seeing a
lot of that movement go over to ApeChain where they're all building now. And again, you know,
a lot of people are like, oh, what's the bulk case for ETH now? But we all remember that,
you know, on top of this, on top of ETH is where all this is scaling. And I think it's the brilliant case that we all, two, three years ago, we're wondering that you know on top of this on top of ETH is where all this is scaling and I think it's the brilliant case that we all two three years ago were wondering you know when
our gas fee is going to go down when are we going to be able to transfer something for you know 20
cents instead of 20 dollars and I think that the it's balanced out a bit we're we're seeing it
compressed down like GUI is like under one on ETH all the time now and this could certainly be due to L2 space but I love Ape Chain like I bought some
warranties on there I own a few collections and it's there's not a
single day where I don't see the activity over there on my timeline so
there's something to say there and I think for what it's worth you guys have
done a really fucking good job Rita you especially Shiva and a bunch of other
people in this room that I've seen lifting it up you guys have done a really fucking good job. Rita, you especially, Shiva, and a bunch of other people in this room that I've seen.
Lifting it up, you guys are without a doubt pillars there.
So I just wanted to say good work.
And I think with, when you're,
we've built on ETH for the past three years.
And I think when we look back to the start to now,
there's new doors that have opened.
I think there's a lot of ideas that we've had, you know,
like go built here, go build there.
But I think now it's like I said, we go back to how you want to brand, where you want to situate yourself.
Apechain looks pretty good. Again, I like abstract too. I've been doing advisory with the bearish team over there.
So it's good to see the new enthusiasm, everyone's sort of spreading out.
I think there's still a great bull case for Soul NFTs as well.
But with Apechain, culture is pretty damn good, man.
Then again, I could say that with Firm, like it's everywhere.
And that's something where it doesn't just happen over a couple days, right?
Like if it folds out, usually it fizzles and then you guys have kept it going consistently.
And then when you have a thousand people in the space today, I think that proves it kind of is a testament. So shout out. I love Ape Chain. I fully understand
the whole thing behind it. And I think you guys done a good job at spearheading it with
that foundation. Like Brandon was mentioning earlier, Brando was saying some chains don't
have the foundation or the backing to actually push these things to a new level, work with
the community.
So it's great to see. I'm very bullish in NFTs. I always have been. During our lowest of the lows, there's a lot of us still out there screaming, NFTs are going to be here to stay. There's going to be good ones. There will be bad ones.
But I think it's also a good time if you're an old project to get back to the drawing board, rebuild, rebrand, refresh, talk with your community, get to know holders individually, build with them.
And that's what we've done a lot of at Space Riders recently.
A lot of people are dropping their own businesses, creating new ecosystems.
We're kind of acting as like a platform for that.
And it's been, it's done very well.
So there's a lot of cool things that we're going to be launching soon in regard to that.
And also just working on the tech, man, the tech just gets better and better.
Three years ago, you couldn't even make an offer on an NFT.
You had to list it and just probably someone bought it.
We've come a long way and everything coming across chain and the new mechanics, blockchains
and fundamentals are huge.
So it just makes the bull case for NFTs, I think that much stronger if you do believe
in it.

I'll be very quick.
I'm here to sort of bear my testimony, as it were, to Apechain. I've been an Ethmaxi for the past three years. Obviously, a lot of people
know me as Pixelsaurus over on Ethereum. But I remember when we joined three years ago that
the board Ape community was one of the first communities to sort of welcome us into Web3.
And I always remembered that, I always remembered it.
And when I heard about Apechain,
I knew that this was a, you know,
a chain I wanted to build on,
and I wanted to build something
that was gonna be here for years to come.
The thing I discovered about Ethereum
was that it's become increasingly hard
for smaller non VC backed projects to sort of get seen.
And the path to visibility on Apechain has just been so much

I'm gonna sort of reiterate what Chums with an S said

The support is the main thing on Apechain.
I'm an old school founder.
I have good ideas.
I'm a manager IRL and stuff like that. Can I make 3D art? No.
But there's people on H-chain that can help with it. So I'm getting it done. Can I build a metaverse? No, I can't.
But we've got other side where the people that are helping me create my 3D things will be able to be put. Can I create a system where I can reward
passively holders and write all of the code behind it? No, I can't. But we've got Bearish
and the Dripbot that's helping out our project doing that, along with, as you heard, 5 million
other people. So the support, what I would say is like standing on the shoulder of giants is really helping people
like me that have a fairly small project but an OG project has been around for a while,
move to 8 Chain with a new collection to bring in new people but have the opportunity to keep
the nostalgia and the old art of the OG ETH collections alive from 2021 and shadow them over or move them over to 8 Chain
to make sure that they live on.
You know, these old contracts from 2021 on ETH
cost $20 to move something,
even if Guaizlo and the art's no good
and you can't, not good quality, you can't upgrade it.
And all of these things are suddenly possible
because the power of Uuga, 8coin together,
and not just the finances, but the level of competence in all of these areas is such an asset
to the chain, but people like me that are well experienced in one area, but not the others,
there is always someone there
to help you. And then people reach out to me and say, right, how did you do this? How
did you mint that organically? Without, you know, paying anyone and blah, blah, blah,
help me with that. And I'll help you with with your 3D art or I'll help you with this.
That's not your strong point. And this cooperation and not competition is something that I've been saying since 2021.
Cooperation, not competition. Working together is the way that Web3 will grow. If people come in and
see infighting between projects, between founders, between chains, they're going to get turned off.
Nobody wants to enter in the middle of a fight and not know which side to take. But coming in and
seeing people support each other and work together, that's not just how all of our chains will grow together but
that's how web3 will grow because people will be welcomed into it exactly how i felt with
with ape chain i won't take up any more time but i will say when i came to ape fest and it was my
first date fest i've told this story about 10 times i I had my suit with me. I had a Louis Vuitton scarf and I thought all these people at UGA and Basie holders are going
to be super rich and you know I'm gonna have to try and speak to them and I'm gonna be nervous.
I don't know what to say and after those few days in Lisbon that suit didn't leave my suitcase
and I met the most wonderful sort of friendly family.
I just couldn't have imagined it. So when I got back, I was like, that's it.

spaces that much, because they're not really on Apechain.

which is a multi-chains quad building game
that allows over 300 NFT collections across EVE,
Polygon, Base, Abstract and Apechain
to participate by forming teams and sending them on missions.
And last year during ApeFest or around ApeFest,
we had a special mission backed by the Apecoin made-over working group.
They sponsored 3,500 Apecoin for us to distribute as rewards.
But there was a twist.
First, participants had to hold at least one Apecoin in order to participate.

I was a big eTH maxi, you know,
since just coming over to to Apechain and getting to know more communities,
more about them and those kind of things is just really, really refreshing.
It's just a breath of fresh air.
Yeah. All these people talking about new mints coming out, new projects,
new kind of utility features, those kind of things.
And it's just a forever like experience and just feels like a whole new,
just family, to be honest.
So like, I know like ETH has always been home to me, but honestly, I can,
I can actually say like Apechain is actually like another home to me as well.
I have like two homes now, I feel like.
And, you know, I've always just believed in onboarding and those kind of things.
I myself have onboarded at least probably 200 people plus over from like fiends over to ape chain just to get them used to the chain and those kind of things and
I know for sure all my holders are like really happy really excited. They're meeting new people making new connections those kind of things
So it's a really really good experience, and I'm really just happy that the chain
