But this year, we've already almost hit 750 drafts. And, you know, we've already hit 100% of the guarantee price bill. So, you know, it's 27 ETH for the guarantee price bill, which is right now, basically $127,000. And then first place is 80, which is, you know, around 37K.
And again, like, I think the best part about it is that, like, you know, playing on crypto, right?
So when we first started this contest, it was just $69,000, right?
Which is still a lot that you're playing for.
And it basically doubled in size.
So the balls, you know, doubled in size so the balls you know uh doubled in size so i think like i think being able to play on chain just proves how superior it is i mean like we can go into like you know
how we gamify things and how you can buy sell cards but i mean i think the fact of the matter
that like when a price pool even though it's not set yet because we already hit 100 guaranteed
price pool so you can it can continue getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

get your private key you know make a metamask and then put it in and and you know now they have a
wallet their own custodial wallet um or actually i don't know if it's custodial but they have their
own wallet and uh you know they're checking out out OpenSea and getting into Web3.
So just kind of like following through on our belief that fantasy football is a great component to get the Web2z in the space.
Because we have a very strong team here on stage.
You know, they have that very interesting blue-white badge next to their name.

like how you grew over the years?
Yeah, I mean, over the years? Yeah.
I mean, that's, that's a great question.
So, I mean, so we launched again in 2021.
So we've been a company since 2021.
We've given millions in prizes, um, since like the first, the first year it was the
bull man.
So it was the most craziest time ever.

So like, I think we like, uh, you know, the first, like the first man so it was the most craziest time ever right so like I think we like uh you
know the first like the first year's prize was like over a million like over maybe a couple
millions in in prize pool like first place was five hundred thousand dollars I think it was a
board ape for 500 500k it was like a grill it was like this crazy grill ape um and you know over
over that years I mean like of course things dwindled and dwindled it was like a
bear and we we thought to ourselves so back then it was like it was a dynasty type thing where like
you know you purchase once and you kind of get you kind of get amenities year after year after
year and without paying and it worked for like you know three three four years and it was it was
great but then it's like how do you sustain a company? So we were like, okay, what do we actually build to sustain
and to keep things going?
Because we still believe that, like, fantasy football is one of the best ways
to onboard the masses to get people playing
because everybody already knows how fantasy football works.
Like, it's just exponentially growing.
So, you know, three years ago we created, um, the first on
chain drafting product. There's, there's still no drafting product out there that's on chain. And,
and, you know, we, we launched literally super quickly with like two or weeks in season, two
weeks in season. And, you know, it was like not that many users played. Then the week, the year
after that, um, the year after that last year, we like 5X'd.
And then like this year, we already like, you know, surpassed that.
And again, like most people only start drafting like the last couple of weeks in fantasy football.
But, you know, so seeing all these new users, seeing all these people come in and be like,
dude, you guys like created something amazing, something really cool. I mean, it's just, it just, you know, it means the world to us.
Because, you know, we have, we have our doubts. doubts we have our moments of like like any founder knows right it
takes a lot of energy and most of the time you're not making any money right like you hope to break
even so you're you're busting your ass probably working another job you know and and being like
okay like is this worth it is this is this you know gonna change shit up are you gonna be
able to like make money off of it like all these different things and you know seeing people really
enjoying it and being able to like see the results year after year i think you know really helps us
and helps push things for us and um yeah i mean it's just been really really fucking amazing to watch, honestly. So.

know um if you look at the previous spotlight you know it's it's centered around collecting nfts
this gives you like a multiplier and you get points and then we do big giveaways like a board
ape and mutant ape and you know all types of like of like, you know, huge prizes, trips, etc.
It was a kind of big thing.
You activate on social and you get these points and this puts together a leaderboard.
So for this second round, there's a little bit of a plot twist.
And it is to, you know, because Spotlight just ended, you'd be like, okay, well, I don't need to be concerned with this.

And in this wheel of fate, because a, like someone's placement on the leaderboard grants them essentially allow list to a mint.

So you have kind of three tiers of balls, right? You got gold balls, you got silver balls,
and you've got the multi-ball. And if you ranked one through 100, you get shot at a certain prize
pool. One through 1000, you get shot at a certain prize pool. And then if you made at least one
point or more in spotlight at all,
which means you just sent a tweet, you know, then you're allow listed for this mint that happens on
818, which is this Monday. And so what those balls do are their entries into, you know,
think of the roulette, you have to drop the ball, you see what you get. And we were already looking at the feedback of trying to do on-chain raffles. So it's completely randomized,
no one's picking the winners. And that means anyone can get those prizes.
And so we wanted to add an active role where instead of just randomizing and just giving
it away and it's over, what if you could play a role in that fate, thus the wheel of fate? And the idea here is that if you're in
the top 100, you actually get allow listed for all three pools. If you're in the top 1000,
you get to play in silver and multiball. And then if you made a point at all,
then you get to play in the multiball. Now, everyone's going to get multiple plays a day.
Basically, it's like an allow... It's a mint, right?
And so it's a free mint, right?
And so that means free entries and using the Secret Santa protocol from Clutch,
what's happening is that ball is going in and it's pulling a random prize ticket out.
So it'll either say, Hey,
you just want a gob. You just want a geez. You just want a mutant ape. You just want,

Like there's a huge list of NFTs and including like being the ability to be able to like choose which collection in the top
15 gets swept with an extra 5k. So there's basically you're getting these prize tickets out
and you're, if you're in the multi-ball, which is what people, a lot of people are excited about
getting involved in is because they can, you can buy those balls off of secondary. So they are
free mints, but there will be people who will decide, you know what? I don't want to hold my balls anymore,
but you have to, every day you'll have a certain amount and you'll grab your balls and then you'll
decide if you want to play with your balls or let someone else play with your balls.
Or if you're going to play with someone else's balls, that's completely up to you how you want
to approach it. There's a lot of ways to look at it. What's also cool is that as they're a prize ticket and it's on-chain, A, it's fully transparent. It's randomized by
proof of play. So it's completely VRNG on ApeChain. So no rigging it. And the other thing too,
you could play from mobile, desktop. So you can be sitting on the toilet, playing with your balls,
and you could play all day. Until you run out of balls, then you can go and grab a few more from someone else and then continue playing with the balls.

Now, if you hit a prize, and let's say you hit a other deed or something else, a mutant,
what's cool is that actually people can list those as those prizes and even the sweeps, for example, and someone can buy it

but I'm going to buy it with ApeCoin. And obviously we know other deeds on ETH,

It's two things, mint or play.
The only way you can hit mint is if you're allowed listed.

You just basically check in because the thing is that you need to um claim those balls once per day so that allocation lasts 24 hours and then once you
if you don't claim it you you lose it right so you could be claiming you know one day you know
again it's 10 to be able to do uh one entry so let's say the first day we decide to give people 100 balls each. Everyone can play
10 times. You can decide if you want to play all 10 in a row, if you want to wait on the sidelines,

Yeah, I would say, if you do
see, like, do the math
behind how much of a chance you have for each
multi-ball to win a board ape
and do the math for how much of a chance you have for each multi ball to win a board ape and do the math for how much of a chance you have for each bold gold ball to win a board ape and then if you see
listings for those balls that are below the fair probability of how many nfts are left in the pool
probably hop on those so for example like we said board ape value 60k while there's 100
prize tickets left in that pool it's probably a 600 nft but if that board ape stays in that pool
and there's only 50 tickets left then that's a one in 50 chance so at that point 600 would be a
steal for a golden ball if you're just playing the the probability game there so yeah i think
there's like we said this is intentional a lot of game theory a lot of potential for trading right
people could trade their way up trade their way. They could sell all their multi balls and try to get one gold ball eventually
or vice versa. Sell your gold ball and buy a bunch of multi balls could be a potential strategy.
I would say, look at the probability and the math and let's just, let's have fun with it guys,
because that's the point of this activation. And it's cool because in a way, I feel like this is
almost even more robust and fun platform than Spotlight itself.
And that's just fantastic. That's a good building.
I have two questions, basically.
One is, how do you find out the allocation and is it the same basically every day for that person and you just keep claiming it?
And the second, where does this all
happen is there a separate website is that spotlight website you might have said it but
i might have missed it yeah so um so for the first question yeah we will change the uh in terms of the
multi-ball that's the only allocation that changes and that's what i think a lot of people will want
to participate in um so that allocation will be the same for everybody playing that day.
But one day, it may be 100. Next day, it may be 400, maybe 50. We're basically every day going
to be changing the allocation. Now, the question is, are you on that list? There is, if you look
on the blog, you can see a list of players who ranked in the top 1000, pretty much in spotlight, if you did
a single tweet, then you're allow listed, right? Meaning you completed a single quest during
spotlight. So if you never logged into spotlight, good chance, you're definitely not on the list.
And then secondary is going to be your move, you're going to be looking to play with other
people's balls. But if you did do any of the spotlight at all, well, now you're getting a
daily allocation, but everyone's getting the same allocation. So even if you're at the top 10 or
top 10, top 100, they're getting the same amount of multi balls as everyone else, but they also
get to play in the silver and gold rounds, which is only allocated to them. But that only happens,
they only get one
shot at the gold ball, they only get one shot at the silver ball, and it never comes back. So
what's interesting about all of those things is essentially it's acting deflationary, right? So
it's like as people play their balls, that's it. The supply is reducing. And same thing,
we are inflating the amount of balls. More and more balls are coming out every day. But then as people are using their balls, they're playing with their balls, there's less balls that's happening. And so, yeah, it'd be interesting to see it play out. And then obviously, this is going to be a massive amount of transactions on ApeChain.

And I think we have a lot of great stories as well. The people who will get a free

once? Do they want to wait? Do they want to hold instead of just waking up and see win or lose?

a huge sum of Ethereum. Our entry, $3,550. And this morning, before ETH took a little stumble,
we sold 100,000 worth of that ETH at a price of $4,750, I believe, $730 in that range. And now
we've taken that ETH, converted into USDC, paired it with ApeCoin and deposited into the GMX vault for ApeCoin

all that technology into a singular experience that solves a problem or at least attracts
someone to want to use that technology. So whether that be the bigger Web 2 activations that are not only already announced, but coming down the pipeline, which may be like more cultural things, like I said, like ComplexCon, that's, you know, that's sneaker heads and F1 that? But also we're focused on the health of the chain in terms of how does that translate into more transactions
on Apechain. And that doesn't necessarily mean just purely like sales. Activity, when you think
about like an app, like some of the larger ones, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
You know, having daily activity, having people, you know, spending time on the app, etc. You know,
that is also part of using like the world computer. So if the blockchain is truly web three,
it's not only about simply buying things, but if people are engaged, showing up every day and doing
cool stuff on chain, that's super important.
And if that increases the amount of transactions, that flags a bunch of other investors, etc., just like it does in Web2.
When Candy Crush or any of these sort of big games, they're getting maybe millions of people playing their app, spending hours a day.
That's always a measure of success.
And that's going to attract investors,
people who want to jump on there. But because it's on-chain, all of that engagement is actually
tracked on-chain and people have automations to detect when there's a boost in activity there.
And so it's partly transactions. It's also new wallets. So how do we get people in those larger
Web2 activations to set up a wallet, like we said, you know, how do we get people in those larger web to activations
to set up a wallet, like we said, through Gmail, you know, come through, through Twitter and,
and try other side, try, you know, some, you know, clutch market, you know, looking into,
to, to like sports, you know, all those different cultural moments and how do we make it feel like
make it feel like they're not using the blockchain. They're not thinking about NFTs,
they're not, you know, they're not using the blockchain. They're not thinking about NFTs,
but they're using ApeCoin and ApeChain without feeling like it's a barrier to entry. And so
I think that that's what the product team can help do. And it doesn't come alone. It doesn't
only happen with the product team, but it is good to have someone focused on product or a team
focused on that. There's a team that's focused on DeFi.
There's a team focused on social, on design.
It's all coming together in one unified goal of, of course,
ApeCoin getting more exposure and people onboarding onto it,
ApeChain having more activity and more cool things to do on there.
And then on top of that, obviously you have a
massive cut in spending. You have unlocks sort of coming closer to an end. And then you have

but i think that you know the the the bigger thing is to look at the framework, right? Is like the clubhouse being gated to apes only is an example of how areas of the land can be gated to certain NFT ownership or potentially tokens.
And if other side is built to invite all communities, like not just necessarily one or the other, it's like permissionless.

we'll already see people kind of like coming up with creative ideas like we see with the
other games team and all that kind of stuff. They're doing different games to do giveaway
prizes, et cetera. But what about when people start to do TGE on a land and they go, you need
to actually be on this land in order to get on
the allow list or NFT drops. And how easy does it make that? The other thing too, is that when you
see bathroom blitz, it's an example of how someone can launch an entire game inside of it. So it's
not about is other side a shooting game? It's no, it's a game of games in which any type of experience learning experiences you know
uh you know nft drops token drops um you know even as we see with bubbles this is a way of
that's more of like a social app that exists inside so it's you know as the analogy goes
with like roblox it's like roblox is not a singular game. So this means that a dev overnight could come up with a smash hit
and it exists inside of other side.
It operates.
You just need to know Unreal Engine.
So I think, A, we'll see people who game developers,
maybe who have never used Web3,
and they'll be able to use those default contracts
that were created with assistance of OX Quit and James
Hall, where people can... I only know Unreal Engine, but I want to launch a token for the
first time or I want to launch an NFT. That's in their toolkit. And then vice versa, we'll see
people learning how to add their own games and then landowners being able to do that kind of
stuff as well. And then we know that there's like
an XP system, like obviously there's a lot of hints at that kind of stuff, but when someone can
drop a game overnight and it could become a viral sensation, some people can join in
through Gmail, through Twitter account, and then have an Ape Chain wallet that's instant.
And now they're playing through browser. They didn't have to download a game, there's no barriers to entry there, then it's a matter of what will people
build. It doesn't even have to be a 3D game. It could be a 2D game. I think that's the other
thing. It could be an app. It's like saying when the inception of the iPhone is like,
what does the iPhone do? Well, in the beginning, you'd have the company itself, the App Store,
launch three or four basic apps to introduce people, to show people what's possible.
But then over years, third-party developers launched all the tokens they want.
The other thing too is that think about transaction fees and there'll be stickers for
creators that they'll be able to launch. There'll be skins and 3D models. There is actual store aspect of things in terms of eCommerce. But when that happens, where is it happening? It's on ApeChain. It's denominated in ApeCoin. All of those things are super important. So think about those layers as it's a toolbox for people to create,
but we have no idea all the things that will be created within the year or within next year.
And the fact that we can scale larger than any sort of multiplayer game, which is putting people
all in the same... They're not being put into separate servers where they're standing in the same, you know, they're not being put into separate servers where they're
standing in the exact same place. That's how a lot of games do that. So being able to do that
all through the web browser is a huge thing. So if you can't do that in, and on top of that,
the own ability, right? That's the whole big thing about Web3 Gaming is that when you buy a Fortnite
dance, you actually don't own it. You can't put listed on secondary. It's not decentralized,
right? So I think other side enables that. But the core thing I'm going to go ahead and double
down on is it's ApeCoin. It's powered by ApeChain. Don't forget that. So if you're an ape that loves your chain and love your world and your universe, because it's all united and even more with this most recent steps with ApeCo coming about is to unify all three of those pillars together.

Hey, grateful. Doing great, man. I actually had some questions about the other side because I've been listening to this huge alpha and I just love what they're building, like Google Apps is building
another side. It's just exciting. But I was wondering if we could get some information about,
I heard Gargan, I heard a couple speakers talk about how
the ultimate flex on the other side
was going to be the CODAS, etc.
But then again, Yuga was going to focus also
on bringing back that Bay YC
like totally
overpowered Vive.
So I was wondering if there's something
that as APE holders
we should know about the other side.
And yeah, you know know just wondering if there's
extra alpha around that so guys anyone want to take that yeah um i'll have my people get with
your people memo you know you know what this isn't exactly related to that, but when I think about the three pillars, other side, ApeCoin, and Board API Club, I think there's an important distinction between providing value for users for participation and emissions.
That's like a fine line.
So I'm hopeful and I'm actually confident that a lot of the builds we will see within the other side are going to be like self-sustainable models.
Games that either earn revenue or redistribute revenue to users, right?
And that flow is going to happen through essentially Ape Chain TXs.
So that's the thing I'm the most excited for.
So that's the thing I'm the most excited for when it comes to things like just giving away
ApeCoin for somebody, you know, just running around or farming a game.
We've seen that model before.
It's called Axie Infinity and the Smooth Love Ocean token.
It's essentially perpetually inflationary.
Play to earn doesn't work. What it has to be is play to have fun and interact and earn based on organic revenue sources.
So I'll be excited to see like a lot of clever protocols that maybe we already have on ApeChain
that have never been to ApeChain, leveraging the other side to boost their marketing, to boost
their education, right? Sometimes a 3D metaverse is a lot sexier way to participate in a protocol than a than a
regular d app so i think that's what we're going to get a lot of a lot of people building on other
deeds and creating like just cool stuff where otherwise maybe you're trading perps through
hyperliquid or gmx just on a flat 2d platform and now you come into the other side and you do it on
a in a shop on a terminal you talk to somebody who actually walks you through the process of perps you put in a trade and actually
you're being taught how to execute execute a perpetual trade in a 3d metaverse and then at
that point it's an educational experience as well as a defi experience so i think we're going to see
a lot of stuff like that and you know i'm just bullish on the other side for the fact that it's
so flexible right it's so maneuverable it's not. And it's very open to people being able to come through, build their own things.
And I think that's one of the main reasons we saw somebody like an Adam Weitzman come
through, you know, obviously a billionaire.
A billionaire didn't find money growing on trees.
He made it through clever investing and investing into things that make sense and earn revenue.
And I think that's what he sees in the other side for that reason.
It's the permissionless nature of it that makes it so bullish.
Guys, this is the new Facebook. This is the new social dynamic and experience that brings that
2D Web 2 experience into real life and gives you the emotional intelligence and actually seeing your friends there moving around, exploring, talking, therapy sessions, business deals. Everything is happening
right now on the other side. You're just not partaking on it. Some of you are just not
partaking in it. I'm telling you right now. I've done exchanges. Everything that you possibly think
of in a digital world or a physical world will eventually happen in this world over here.
And this is your opportunity to be ahead of the times.
You know what I'm saying?
You didn't get in on Yahoo early.
Some of you missed the dot-com bubble.
Please do not miss the other side.
Because eventually, no matter how slow the wheels are turning right now, they will speed up.
You know what I'm saying?
And this thing will gain its legs.
It will gain its traction.
And it will become something that you didn't think it could become.
I'm telling you right now.
Even the small community we have now building organically and stuff like that,
you're going to see that thing speed up in the next few months organically.
You know what I'm saying?
And like each one, reach one, teach one.
We're trying to retain these people. I want to keep the first 100. I want to keep the first 1000. I want to keep the
first 5000. How do we do that? We do simple onboarding, and then we give them something to do.
We hang out. We're social creatures. We're social animals. We provide that emotional intelligence
in world. That's how we win at this. You know i'm saying and ducky we would love to see you this weekend at the games oh yeah definitely um uh you know you make a great point
right um so in terms of like just apps right um you can't turn things one to you know a million
the next day you kind of need to battle test so if you you want to look at the rollout and just understand what's
going on, and this isn't anything I'm privy to internally, this is just more so of apps in
general. You can't scale to the size of Instagram or Facebook to billions of users using your
networks overnight. It actually doesn't work like that. You know, those, you know, Facebook kind of rolled out through first through the colleges and,
and then there's upgrades to servers and there's, there is some sort of progression into it.
And so if that scalability is being worked on and battle tested by people in the, you know,
Yuga, Apechain community to, as you saw with the bubbles, it's like, oh, we want to
actually break the bubble and run around and still be able to hear each other. Like, so essentially
we're like early beta testers to be able to find a bug. Maybe the bug is actually a feature. Maybe
it's a feature I wasn't thought about. So think about it as being that early. And it's already
been stated like publicly that the goal is to scale to tens to hundreds of thousands of users next year.
But first, you know, you kind of need to conquer your town before you go and conquer the world.
Right. So, you know, as these games are rolling out, now you see more 3D models being introduced.
Why is that? Why is that hard to do? Because everybody's computer, they may have a potato
computer, right? Like grateful he's playing on a potato computer his internet's not that great now he's got a load 10 you know only in web 3 are we
asking games to handle you know uh collections of 10 000 unique avatars then add mutants that's
30 000 avatars like play call of duty they've got like five guys and it's the same five guys
throughout the whole damn game, right?
So 40 with codas, right?
40 with codas.
But what I'm saying is now, then you add G's, then you add me bits.
So this is, you know, your computer has to download all that in real time and you don't want it to go slow.
You want to be able to hear everybody live.
Like there's a lot of requests of Web3 that is kind of anyone in gaming would be like you you want to do what
so um when you think about that on the scales of hundreds of thousands of people millions etc
you're not going to go to the biggest gaming developer conferences to say hey go ahead and
check this out right this is once you've kind of have more of those triple a experiences like we
see that there's that infection game that,
maybe I'm misquoting it, but there's another game that's coming. Now we have the Project Dragon.
We'll see that roll out. The worlds will start to expand. Then they roll out the world building tools for landowners, resources in the first quarter of 2026. And so as those tools roll out, now once you have something solid where
someone doesn't show up and it's a bunch of empty land, that's why you don't see deeds
kind of already being populated. You want to have some AAA experiences there.
And then when they land there, they try a bunch of stuff. Okay, now take me to a land where Grateful
didn't put anything on his land. He's just hoarding all the land and putting a cube or
a JPEG on the land and it's boring. We first got to put the AAA people there,
build some amazing experiences, then the tools, then the scalability. And as that's battle tested
and ready and it's bulletproof, now you go on the marketing campaign and you go everywhere to tell people about it.
So and that's generally the time where you don't want to be trying to buy in.
So, yeah, that's just kind of my perspective, not as a, you know, ape chain or, you know, related.
It's just more so is like that's how apps and games in general have to do.
Day one, they're not ready to handle massive amounts of traffic.
But as you see that
progress, more avatars being added, more tools being added, that's a clear sign that they're
preparing for the masses. When you're ready for the masses, then you go balls to the wall.
Because if you tell people right now and buy a bunch of billboards and advertise everywhere,
and it's not yet battle tested for that amount of traffic, you lose the opportunity. People are not
going to come back.
So think about it as strategic, not as slow.
And once the infrastructure is there,
and people are launching meme coins and spending a bunch of time,
and it's kind of like really ready,
then I wouldn't be surprised to see the marketing go crazy because we know that the club has connections everywhere across culture.

A few people actually DM me about
a bathroom blitz and they were like, holy,
this in Fortnite
works better than this and that.
And I was like, guys, come on.
This is like first season
or beta season even, right?
It's closed right now.
As you said, it takes time to build it.
We need to test it before we actually market it outside.
So I 100% agree with you, man. From what I tried, I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed Bubbles
talking to you there. I really enjoy all the competition there, right? It's just a small
things and I believe it's going to get better and better and better. People start building their own
experiences. So it's very interesting to be part of
this movement and i really hope and wish that in few years we look back and we'll be like shit we
were we were at the beginning of of other side and of this of this whole movement so yeah love that
love that guys there's other space uh very soon uh so we will slowly rip it up but because we have a we have a apecoin team here

building for their you know um uh ryan comes from the community right and i think that that's also
you know something that's super strong because you have people who were on the ground floor in the trenches now being able to, you know, make, you know, measurable changes and score
some points for the community. And if you look at this rollout of spotlight, that shows exactly that.
It's not a whale game. Actually, all you had to do is do a tweet. You can get access to a board
ape. You weren't part of it. You can get some balls
on secondary, but you do got to get them from those who did send the tweet and did participate.
But none of that 0% royalties free, you know what I mean? And a lot of blood, sweat and tears,
like for the last few weeks, just making sure that this is a top level experience for all of
y'all. And we're going to continue to kind of come up with cool stuff for you to do.
And, and yeah, we appreciate y'all showing up daily.
And, and I think over time, you're going to see those wins stack up with the new,
the new direction, the new cape, you know, kind of goals and also, you know, the new structure.
