yes of course of course so high level about me i'm dirkirk and I am the CEO and co-founder of Petal Finance.
Petal Finance actually is like a multi-chain,
on-chain layer for your NFT.
So we actually deliver different solutions

Previously, we were firstly on Arbitron.
We are one of their first biggest marketplace
that is serving your NFT OTC trades

You can use your NFT to borrow against Barra token
or create liquidity instantly from the pool.

is the NFT ETF platform.
So what we are going to do is that
we are going to make NFT,
not just like your JPEG,
not just like an image.

So actually right now, because of this NFT ETF, my grandma can buy
G's as well. So what it's going to do is that it is like
an ETF. So what does ETF mean is actually it needs to back
buy something. So for this ETF mean is actually it needs to back buy something, right? So for this
G's NFT or this G's ETF, how it works is that when you have one G's and we will have one smart
contract called G's Bank, right? So for this G's Bank, you can either do two things. One is sell
your G's. One is for a gains with your G's, all right? So let's say if you want to sell your G's
or if you want to swap your G's, what are you going to do is that when you with your Gs, all right? So let's say if you want to sell your Gs or if you want to swap your Gs,
all you're going to do is that
when you sell your Gs into this Gs bank,
you will directly get 1,000 peanuts, all right?
So peanuts actually stands for the ERC20 token format
of this NFT, all right?
So you're giving up the ownership,
but what you get is 1,000 ERC20 tokens called peanuts.
So what you can do with peanuts actually for peanuts you can directly sell on Camelot all right so we're
working with GE's and working with A-chain foundation to deploy liquidity on Camelot right
now we will deploy later on have a live yet but when it is live you can directly trade it on Camelot
so what does it mean?
It means that you can sell portions of your Jeeze NFT.
So today you give up your Jeeze, you sell it into 1,000 peanuts,
but you think that, hey, I don't want to sell it immediately.
I want to sell it one by one.
So that is what you can do for selling those peanuts.
But on the opposite is that, so Tino, I believe that you don't want to give up your Jeeze.
So this is how the use case works, that you can borrow your Gs with peanuts.
So in this case, you are not giving up ownership.
You're just putting your Gs in the Gs bank and you tell the bank to say,
hey, I want to have some short-term liquidity.
Please give me a little bit some peanuts.
So those peanuts is your short-term liquidity.
And those liquidity is nearly like a flow price.
So you don't need to negotiate with the smart contract.
You don't need to negotiate anyone else.
You can directly get nearly 1,000 peanuts as your liquidity.
So you can use that liquidity to pay your short-term debt,
or you can do anything,
or you will have some DeFi play that we're going to deploy.
And once after, let's say say two months or three months you say that hey I want to get by my
G's NFT then you just need to pay back your peanuts and you can get by the original G's
so in this case you are not giving up your original G's your G's is still your G's right
so that is kind of like two scenarios that allow users to create liquidity and those illiquidities are
instant liquidity. I think Rita has raised his hand so I'll stop here for a short period.

How big is the team?

I'm really curious what you've been doing in Web3.

It's never a secret, all right?
So from my personal experience,
before 2021, I was full-time in TradeFi.
I'm a CFA charterholder.
What I was doing at that time
is all about security lending. I'm a CFA charterholder. What I was doing at that time is all about
security lending. I was in the biggest bank in Singapore. And at that time, what I'm doing is
we are delivering structured products for equity, for bonds, and for credit trading.
So that is super similar to what Paddle is delivering right now for NFT ETF. We want to
change assets more liquid. We want to sell our
assets. We want to make everyone can be part of the investors. That was what I was doing in 2021.
And that was also the time because you guys mentioned about NFT Topshop.
NFT Topshop was actually the first NFT that I bought over Bored Ape. I was super
sad that I chose NFT Topshop over BoardApe at first place.
Even though afterwards I bought BoardApe as well, but bad time.
It was bad timing that I chose NFT Top Shot.
I'm still holding all of my NFT Top Shot things now.
So which moment did you buy over the BYC?
over the byc i bought my first byc in 2023 oh okay but which moment which player did you buy
I bought my first BYC in 2023.
over the byc was that like oh which player yeah lebron or i bought stephen curry i bought stephen
curry and at that time it was high rocket and i was i was so happy that I chose NBA Touchdown at that time.
But afterwards, they changed the logic.
I think everyone should remember that.
And afterwards, their floor price just crashed.
And yeah, that was the only moment that I was regret.
But afterwards, I grabbed my first 48 Yash Club.
But that was the story afterwards, right?
So ever since then, actually, I was quite up to
how we can financialize NFT. So I was actually in the last cycle of NFT5 and all about those NFT
summer, but I found out that there's no single solutions that I can easily liquidate. I can
not harm the NFT floor price, but while creating NFT finance, right? Because a lot of NFT platforms or NFT
five platforms at that time are trying to make you trade your NFT faster. But when you trade
NFT faster, it means that you're harming those floor price, right? So that is why we come up
with the solutions about this ETF, because you can see that a lot of ETF in real world, actually,
they are not breaking the flow price. Actually,
they are bringing liquidity, but at the same time, increase the stock, increase the underlying
assets. So that is where the concept came from. And we're from this team in 2024, that we have
a full-time six people that is coming from Acadian, biggest hedge fund in Boston, and someone came from Microsoft, and someone came from Grab,
which is the biggest payment company in Southeast Asia.
And we have their core developers that is building their AI investment prototype.
So that is six members, full-time developers, and also myself.
So that is all about Paddle finance and about our core team and in 2024 we started to build something that is on barachain on arbitron and
we never forget that hey we need to build something on a chain because personally i'm coming from
board ape my first nfd is nba top shot i hate but it helped. It made me really kind of like treasure the moment
that I'm having board the Yuz Club. So that's why we brought everything here in 2025 back to Ape
Chain. And that is where the NFT ETF came from. We believe that this is a playbook that it is going
to innovate how users are holding their NFTs and innovate how my grandma is able to ape in their
NFT collections. Because for Gs, actually for one Gs, it is right now worth for a 500 ape token,
which is around 300 bucks. If you ask an old man to buy an NFT or JPEG in 300 bucks,
to be honest, they are not willing to do that. But if tell them that hey grandma you can just spend around
30 bucks to buy peanuts then you will have exposure to nft she's willing to do that right
so this nft etf actually also opened the boundaries of people can become like an investor of nft
without spending a lot of money because right right now it is like ERC-20 token format.
And what we call this like NFT, ETF,
or what we call it is the first on-chain decentralized ETF is that for each peanut that is generated on-chain,
it is because there is a JIS that is deposited in JIS Bank.
So having said that, you can always verify
whether they are one-to-one backed by a JIS.
Unlike a lot of real-world ETFs that you can always verify whether they are one-to-one backed by a giz unlike a lot
of real world etf that you can only check their holdings or asset exposure every few months for
at least giz etf for the nft etf that we are creating it is totally on chain fully transparent
and fully backed by nfts so this is something that we believe that it can change how people

Yeah, so segue to Myths and Monsters. It's a good jumping off point. Obviously, we seem like a new independent team, Cyclops Technology, but we've actually been working together since 2021. A lot of us have been
in crypto since buying Ether at $12 literally in 2017. And so we come, many of us, from
traditional gaming, traditional web to full stack development. I personally worked in games for many years
until I started making games and experiences and things.
In Web3, most recently, we were the dev team for Ranga
and we built a lot of cool features for them.
We built collector capsules and the Cosmos Mint, which was super, super innovative,
if anybody got a catch of that one. But yeah, I think the segue is that was an experience,
right? And what we're trying to build with Myths and Monsters is a collection that is an experience
and the entire platform of the company, Cyclops Technology,
is built around this idea that like, you know, Web3 sort of entertainment or whatever we call
it, experiences are going to be different and new, like the bubbles socially, right? And,
you know, I wouldn't call what we're doing GameFi, but, you know,
it's got a lot of inspiration from a lot of different places. And it's just, it's going to
be unique. People are going to feel like, oh, it's a little bit of this. It's a little bit of that.
You know, I can give a little bit of alpha. I can definitely talk about the inspirations. But the idea is that we're pushing the envelope.
And what we want to do is have something unique and enjoyable and collectible in Web3.

that you have these mythological creations. You have Oni, you have Medusa, you have Kitsonia, you have Centaurs, Cyclops, of course.
And they're, you know, I would say like the prestige asset, right? The ether-based,
what you have is, you know, look at it as your genesis, as your main, right? But then there is going to be,
for lack of a better word, an omission or some, you know, we're calling it cloning.
And I think that's a good metaphor.
The clones will be created on one ape chain,
but we're going to be one of the first collections
to really try to leverage shadows.
And during Mint or soon after Mint,
have shadows on ape chain of of all of your Genesis.
And then the Genesis will create units
and they will create clones.

the cloning will begin. And let's say, you know, there is going to be, you know, a small time
between the mint and then the cloning and then the gaming. And so, you know, we're building it as like a two-year experience at least.
And, you know, when I use the word issuance and clones, you know, people might think a bit of the DeFi.
But, you know, for inspirations, you know, it's hard to talk about exactly what the mechanics are without giving it away.
But, and this does not insinuate the mechanics, but inspirations include, you've probably seen like, you know, the movies of Ray Harryhausen, mythology, Dungeons and Dragons, first edition, Shadowrun, Wolfgame.
You know, again, these are not to say exactly what it is, but if you look to those as inspirations,
that might, you know, give you some informative, you know, hints.
But yes, to answer your question more directly, timing is it's the start of something. You'll get your shadows, the shadows begin cloning, and then the gaming commences. So it's kind of a three step process. And it should be fun and built for retention and the experience and like the long term, which, you know, we, you know, I mean, even the even the, you know, DeFi Paddle DeFi PaddleFi is talking about building things.
And I think this is the next wave for people to hold and for people to enjoy holding and
to play and participate rather than the last generation that we've just went through, which
was a big speculative phase, right?

And being honest, there are not initial plans for myths and monsters in the ODK.
But I will say Cyclops Technology, like the parent company, we have experience.
I myself, my background, I'm pretty doxed.
I'm a game developer.
I've developed for Unreal.
You know, I've been making games for about 20 years, 2D, 3D, Electronic Arts, Activision. I mean, I worked on two MMOs. I worked on City of Heroes, and I worked on Marvel, Marvel Heroes. And both of those are kind of MMOs, which help us a lot with the tokenomics and, you know, what we're doing with the game side of it.
With the 3D side of it, I used to, you know, I was in Raleigh and I used to work for an outfit that built all of the non-commercial,
we had the exclusive license for all the non-commercial,
basically medical, military.
We did America's Army, the company that I worked for,
and I was a design director.
It was called Virtual Heroes that got bought by ARA,
but we have extensive experience with Unreal,
Unreal mods building in that regard.
So that is maybe not something directly
that will be an experience with Mists and Monsters,
but it's definitely something with Cyclops technology.
And Cyclops is a full stack 2D, 3D developer.
We have literally decades of experience
between the whole team.
And the stuff we're building is not just for us.
The Cyclops platform will be retention mechanics, things like collector capsules, reward systems.
We built a storefront interfacing with Shopify that was even beyond, you know,
what TokenProof was doing, where, you know, it wasn't just, oh, if you own an NFT, you get into
the event or you get the thing. It's like specific traits could get specific things, right? So this
is the Cyclops platform that really digs into the metadata of the NFTs can reward badges based
on that, can reward entitlements to shopping based on that.
And a lot of what we're doing will go into 2D, 3D, basically a toolbox that either will
that will build bespoke for any collection that's interested.

where for some amount a month, any collection can take advantage of these.
But what we're trying to do with the Cyclops platform
is enable everybody to make their collections.

and then for others, we're, we're building this tool chain at Cyclops.

starts getting interesting is that

which is an organization that has over 800 registered
charities under its umbrella.
And they have a platform where you can pay with crypto
that they've had for a few years,

donate less than 250 dollars they take most of it for example um so i've had a meeting with cam
and spoke with the hn team and we're going to try and get glyph and hna coin on there and if we can
do that we're talking about well there's at least a thousand people per charity 800,000 people that donate one two three five dollars here and there and if they're doing that
through glyph with eight chain and eight coin we'll be onboarding them to eight coin uh getting
their first eight chain nft um but also they'll be able to donate to charity easily at the couple
clicks of a button instead of name address address, email address and things like that.
So that's what we're pushing for.
That's the dream.
There's lots of people onboarding through gaming, obviously.

The next generation, showbiz's kid, my kid,
this is their way in to Web3 through gaming and digital rewards

But I believe that we're one of the only projects

using big charity
organizations as a way of onboarding people to Web3. I think that that's an avenue that's huge.
It's directly for people with disposable income. But also, I think, yeah, to make that process
easy on blockchain for tax purposes and things like that has some huge possibilities. I'm
extremely excited about that um when we were
talking about that we said that you know what's happening in india where most of our funds go
um you know needed a bit of a boost needed a bit of extra um money so we said that it was global
tiger day on the 29th of july so the charity provided us with eight different photos of the actual tigers and
environment, which you guys who are members of Typical Tigers on Ape Chain have, you know,
funded with our charity donations. So it's tigers that have actually, you know, you guys have helped
benefit. It's the waterholes that we've paid for to dig, 100 square miles of land that's being ploughed and saplings are being built on at the moment to regenerate the jungle and get the tigers away from humanity so they stop killing each other and things like that. There's varying rarity of the eight. The collection is 333.
It's 33 eighths per mint.
And 100% of the mint funds and 100% of royalties go straight to the charity.
And the charity, exactly like us, they're 100% voluntary.
So all of the money actually goes directly to doing what it's meant to do.
There's no person being paid or CEO or anything like that at the charity.
It goes straight over to funding
and paying for poaching controls
and things like that over in India.
So we launched this collection
and then the plan was like next year.
If it, well, we're struggling to mint out.
So I think we were on 81 of 333.
But if we do mint it out we'll you know it's 10
988 we'll be sending and then if we do it next year maybe we do a 222 collection or something
smaller and the hope is that we can have in those photos some of the cubs and the families of the
tigers that we have in this year's project so people that you know spend 19 on mint in one
of these um that money goes straight to charity they get the nft the photo of um of the actual
tigers they're helping and then hopefully next year um when we have the photos from next year
you can own you know their cubs and i just thought that would be a really cool sort of thing to do so
that's what we're doing um It's nothing that we planned.
