Thank you. Thank you. Hello everybody, we're just getting everything ready real quick.
We're missing our music person who is not here at the moment.
We said they would be ready. Can you guys hear me?
Hi, Hash. Yo. Can you guys hear me? Yes.
I was told not to play anything specifically and that the music would be ready.
And now, of course, he's not here,
so I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Yeah, host me Faces with Gu. This is what I always tell them. I say, don't be late and don't leave in the middle of it. Right. We can,
we can get into it for now. I want to start with talking just about... We can bullshit for a little bit if you want.
Let's see if he gets in here.
Are you able to contact him real quick?
God, he told me what song he was going to play to.
Yeah, I just talked to him like two minutes ago,
and he said he was ready to go, and he has it loaded.
What's the song? What's the song?
It was an old school song.
Thank you. I can play it. Thank you.
See, I didn't have it ready either, so. oh
I'm looking in your eyes, I see a paradise. This world that I found is too good to be true. Standing here beside you, I want so much to give you. I Oh, yeah. No, it's gonna stop us, no, it's gonna stop us, no, it's gonna stop us, no, it's gonna stop us, no, it's gonna stop us.
I'm so sad about you, I'm not gonna lose you, whatever it takes, I will stand in here with you.
Take it to the good times, see it to the bad times.
Whatever it takes is what I'm gonna do.
Let them see we're crazy.
Put your arms around me, baby.
Don't ever let them all. Let the world around us just fall apart.
Baby, we can make it We're heart to heart
And we can build this dream together
In this world we're not alone
We'll still have each other.
Nothing's gonna stop us, nothing's gonna stop us.
All that I need is you. Oh, yeah. Thank you. And it's gone forever, nothing's gonna stop us now.
And this world I've got to love with still heavy cover,
nothing's gonna stop us, nothing's gonna stop us.
And it's gone forever, whoa.
Hey. I never realized how long this song was.
It's a good thing every song from the 1980s is 15 fucking minutes long.
Yeah, I had no idea it was that long.
I think I've only heard the 15 second version that exists in commercials and movies.
I guarantee he's trying to hook up to some fucking audio.
He said he was all set up, but that's all right.
So how are we doing today before we get into everything?
Doing good. Getting ready to watch the men's basketball championship.
Nope. No basketball talk.
My bad. Well, you asked and I answered. So there we go.
I'm feeling good though it's you know i don't have any beer so that sucks but
it's okay yeah i don't have any weed either it's what's going on with that well i have weed i just
don't have beer i feel like i wanted i don't want to smoke weed or not i want to drink beer but I'm happening. So whatever. I'm going to borrow some of Hawk's cut waters.
So one of the things that we wanted to talk about today is kind of like how of one all
came about to be. Hash, I was hoping you could help us understand or goo, whoever's available.
Whatever you're using for audio
just use your regular thing
Why do you do this to me, dude? I don't know why you do this to me.
At least you're used to it. Just talk about how everyone began.
No, yeah. Okay. I guess I can do that.
He'll show up soon enough, don't worry.
I mean, I think it all started kind of as a response or lack of appreciation from OpenSea,
which has been one of my main pillars of what I talk about all the time is like I fucking hate OpenSea.
I hate their entire ecosystem.
Of course, that's where I started and that's where the OG Hashbassers are.
And I think even this support that they did lend to one of one artists, even at the beginning, proved to be kind of bullshit, you know, the longer you went on.
Even looking at that, like main contract that they used for lazy minting, it was on a one one five five.
It wasn't even on a 721 like everything about it was was kind of uh it didn't feel permanent
nothing about it felt permanent enough to make me feel comfortable as an artist um I you know
right is that when you switched over to manifold yeah so that's when I switched over to manifold
which felt more like I had more ownership over what I was doing with manifold.
I was able to make my own seven to one contracts.
I was able to, um, easily get a list of all of my holders.
I was able to do airdrops.
There was a lot of different features, uh,
that manifold had and it made it so much easier, you know,
for one of one artist to sort of exist um in the space and i think the only
thing with manifold is that it's very siloed and it's very individual where you can go on there
and you can mint your stuff and you can sell them uh you know off their own pages but there's no
there's no storefront or gallery experience that sort of curates everything like
an open sea does so it's like manifold things that it's really good at an open sea has a few
things that made it great to use as like an nft viewer and finder and there's just nothing like that specifically for one of one artists specifically
made for one of one artists and i think that's where we were like if nobody else is gonna make
this and still nobody has um then we should probably make it because who else better to kind of pioneer some kind of platform specific
for one of one artists than one of one artists oh goo there you are damn yeah sorry about that
um what do you talk about uh the platform well i was talking about like how we how we started this
and why we started it. Yeah.
And you can see now how we were ahead of the wave so much.
Whatever comes out that tries to do this is so stupid.
It is kind of a complicated thing, in a way, to do what we're going to do.
We're about to do something pretty cool.
We're going to tie in pretty much.
He's going to have to leave and come back. We gonna tie in from him hold on like every what uh sloppy can't
hear you jesus christ is it something this man i hate twitter so much it is really so stupid just
pop out and pop back in real quick i think think it's because my account- Real quick.
