is a established brand that's already fundraised and you know he was he was trying to do a little

i guess like the only thing i could think of is that like at the time he didn't have a connection and

of gamification uh captains has um let's get jolly up here this will be a first two um but i would
imagine it's been part of the the the uh the deal all along um we'll just have to see what ray does

and they said that that guy he's actually played a pretty big role you know with uh mean land
recently and you go to his twitter and he's you know tweeting a bunch you know at nine gag and then
at portal coin so uh i i definitely think you know ray is involved with portal um you know he's probably
just talking about hey i didn't found it just like what didn't gordon goner say the same thing he was
like yeah i didn't i want to tease that i founded portal coin or whatever didn't he say something like
that um yeah i believe so yeah yeah yeah so ray's probably just saying that like because there's
been speculation like the truth is guys like literally five percent of probably the collective
awareness of you know the nft space realizes the creeps portal coin connection and so literally i
would get people you know if you go into other circles they're saying oh did we create portal you
know everyone thinks that nobody knows that we're the ones that created it right and so i think that's
pretty much what you know ray was trying to say is no meme land didn't create portal coin especially
after the you know farming you know because they were the first ones to do it so i think he's just
trying to say no i'm not on the team um and so it's totally valid but he's definitely an investor and
it shouldn't be a surprise to us at all because of the newman group connection there yeah i'm actually
reaching out to another guy um that i know was in the angel round who's really good friends with ray
uh and seeing what he says um i know they talk a couple times a week um and i want to see what
happens there i don't even know where the guy lives so maybe he's um you know maybe he's fucking uh

down cheese but i i'm getting a lot of people you know reaching out to me saying how excited they are
about portal especially after this tweet i don't know why you know because again we've all known
you know it's legit but this tweet has done a lot for people outside the creeps community uh people
like oh you know i'm so relieved i sent for portal you know because they've been on the fence because
i've been telling everybody i know you know invest in the angel get creeps etc etc uh but this tweet
these are some heavy hitters you know that they mentioned here i mean it makes me think of blur did any of
you get in on the investment angel round of blur no no no when paradigm and when they were pushing
it out yeah no yeah and it was it was pretty easy if i remember correctly to get on it and dude i
fudded it like i was saying that's so stupid why would you invest in blur and they had a similar sort
of raised mechanism right where they were you know sort of shady about the details just like portals
being uh they were you know using other investors to get more investors it was just a weird way
that blur fundraise uh but if you go and talk to any of those early blur investors dude they made
freaking bank like they made probably 50x to 100x on their original investment um and i think we're
going to see the exact same thing play out right like a bunch of people have fudded portal because
let's be honest they went about it in a really scammy weird ass way right but we're the ones that know
what's actually going on and i see it playing out just like blur uh you know in the blur early
investors so anyways it was it was that connection to how blur played out and then the blur token drop
absolutely massive airdrop all eyes in the space on it i think we're going to see the exact same thing
happen with portal uh and yeah we're all uh i'm just excited so good good tweet today and uh shades of
blur yeah i'm getting 100x off my angel round is that what you're saying i mean i think i think we're
going to be getting more at least my you know i think 100 to 200 is is the realistic expectation
at least that's what whoa whoa fuck yeah my dad will welcome me back in the house that's fucking good
uh no dolly to your point you know when you look at this lineup that they just tweeted out right i mean
from you know founders to you know you got c phrase g money in there dingaling you got osip in there i
mean just like the list of web 3 kind of i don't want to say pioneers but just like very
prominent names in the industry right all backing the same project i can't recall any other project
that's had this magnitude of a list of names tied to it you know um early in so you know i think from
the general public you know seeing a tweet like this and seeing all these familiar faces you know that
a lot of people have a lot of respect for all backing the same project you got to have high
expectations for it right first for sure you're totally right kenny and the thing is is like so
we saw early investors and looks rare same deal right they got a bunch of influential influencers
and on i think dingaling was on that one too you know looks rare blur all those investors made bank
you can check the chain they all made you know massive gains on their investments and again we're
talking like 20x to 100x on what they initially invested and we're in the next cycle and so that's
why i don't think people are bullish enough right like first cycle we had bullshit like mana and you
know decentraland and sand going to seven seven bill fdv um and i looked it up the other day decentraland
went to nine bill fdv when like 55 of the tokens were unlocked right if we truly think that this cycle's
going to reach new all-time highs which i think we all know by now uh then yeah this is the the best
you know list of investors influencers i think goes beyond what looks rare put together warbler
um and the reason i'm comparing it to them is those are nft marketplaces right that's pretty much what
you know portal is going to be right it's a it's a gaming nft marketplace um so we're going to do the
exact same thing except with better investors with the largest web2 gaming partnership that they're
going to solidify here before token generation uh and then with eth bitcoin soul hit new all-time highs
you know i think 10 to 20 billion fdv that's at least what i'm shooting for i think that's very
realistic even beyond that you know like we just don't know how high this is going to go right well
i mean they're the talk of the town is game gaming and game pie is going to lead be one of the hottest
sectors in this next bull run right so you know you you look at like you said you have the matters and
the sandboxes and the alluviums you know like hitting seven eight ten bill you know so like
you got to assume that in this next bull run it's going to surpass those numbers now you take
you know a platform with x amount of partners gaming partners and and the potential with the
wallet and everything else i mean yeah 10 to 20 is as a realistic expectation in my opinion
i'd agree yeah and it's not even and what i love is everyone's saying game fight too um this isn't
just game fight like i'm going to be able to go you know and show this to my you know six-year-old uncle
and say sign up with your email play a video game and then buy something in the video game
with your credit card like they don't even need to know that there's blockchain going on in the
background uh and that's why it's like this is going to be the first time that i think we see
absolutely nuts you know valuations uh and i that's i really think 60 to 70 percent of the people
that use portal aren't really going to be aware of what's going on in the background they're just going
to say oh i can buy and sell my video game assets now right uh they don't even need to know
the word nft or blockchain or any of that right that's what i'm most excited for is getting past
the blockchain game fight nft lingo because we don't need that with portal right right no that's
always the biggest barrier is how do you onboard right how do you make the transition seamless
for people who don't want to deal with wallets and all the other stuff so like and if you go back
to early early conversations from a year and a half ago when we first rebranded to overlord and you
listen to joe and dom talk about you know how they want to create the seamless um you know
transition for people in web 2 gaming into web 3 they've been talking about it for a very long time
and it's what they've been working on for the past 16 18 months is creating this so yeah super bullish
man we're uh jolly who was the most surprising name for you to see on the uh the list like who was the
most like somebody that caught you off guard uh most surprising name for me so most of those people
i sort of expected um because i've been i i love trying to get you know early info because i'm
totally over invested in this so yeah along with everybody in this room we all are right uh yeah so
but but every time i do more digging and talking you know to my network it's always assuring because
it's i literally haven't gotten like bad news back right uh most surprising name that i did not expect
uh was the moon pay guy i think yeah i was about to say max crown yeah so i think people underestimate
the way that board apes went to such a high floor that they did um i really think their moon pay
partnership is a big part of that um apes let's be honest the art sucks i'm sorry if anyone here
you know loves rocking apes it's all about the status you know apes became known as the nft to own
you know because that's like you know owning a lambo and i think moon pay was such a big part of that
you know through moon pays uh you remember all like the ads and the rap videos they did
with uh with apes dude i'm telling you that's what sent apes from 20 e to like 120 didn't they
get up to 120 something like that they got up pretty high yeah well over 100 all because of the moon
pay celeb crossovers and so having that moon pay guy um he's the key to celeb endorsements um so
having him as an investor dude freaking insane like that i had no idea i had never heard the name
moon pay before i didn't see it on any decks um so yeah massively bullish and that was i was
completely blown away by the fact that he was included there what about you what what surprised
you the most well the honestly the moon pay i was going to actually guess for you the moon pay guy
and the parallel alpha uh kalos or kalos however you say his name because parallel seems to have been
doing their own thing for many years now you know and they've been building this out for a long time
um and i i really think that's going to be a big one like dingaling is heavily invested in parallel
and they have some assets that are really expensive um but they also have the ecosystem of where cards are
you know literally less than a dollar you know they're a few dollars so um that one was a surprise
because if parallels on there as a game like there's a lot of web 2 and web 3 people that play that
that game um i think that could really be be helpful um obviously dingaling seed phrase already knew
about osif mando um you know zeneca kind of figured um you know some of the crypto punk guys down at the
bottom with two punk capital um i wasn't expecting that either um jet boys yeah jd yeah tell your dad to

one of the ways that portal has to succeed in order to grow is getting these more insulated
communities on board right i think star atlas is an example of that uh and also parallel right
parallel does not need portal like like they just don't right like they're massively successful
they've got tons of games in development like you said i think they'll be one of the best at
onboarding web 2 because they are operating at a scale that most of these recent game fi pump you
know bullshit aren't operating at that parallel is just way ahead of the game but if portal can
successfully convince projects like that that they you know that portal can help amplify their marketing
can help them access new liquidity you know because of the cross-chain solutions that that's massive
right and so if we can land you know parallel that's going to be the key to landing a bunch of other

uh to invest what i don't see here though uh to fly is now some of these guys could have invested
through their their actual vc companies because i know like some of these guys have their own uh
their own company i think like cousin crypto i think he actually has his own uh investment company
like vc so some of these people might have that and they're just using like their actual name
um but we're not seeing a lot of institutional do you think there's more than just this
like the a16z's and like bigger name companies yeah i don't know like is that uh some kind of
separate announcement is that like uh it will never actually be publicly available i don't know
yeah neither do i i don't know how that normally um normally rolls out like that but obviously these
guys all had to give permission um you know but without going through and turning notifications on
for everyone really curious to wait and see what the nine gag uh what ray does uh i mean it's been

dude are some of these guys are they just some of the guys that were in on the angel round

uh to think about and then jd said it best jd was like bro tomorrow is the two-year anniversary
of us minting our creeps so will they announce something tomorrow as a creeps uh connection

they would give us a two-week notice uh when that mint is going to go active um have you built out

adventure website it shows you how to uh get started there and you'll see your sp points you can stake
and unstake your creeps from that point um you'll see your rune and from there that's where we're
going to start the next phase of what to do with these runes uh but the runes are going to be for
uh play somo is the narrative that we are at right now um have you looked into uh somo at all

know right now but definitely go to the somo discord check out the website you can see a bunch of the
characters that have already come out there's a lot more though there's there's a lot more characters
that we have not even seen there's two more elements to be revealed um but there's supposed to
be like 180 different characters uh within the ecosystem so and it seems like you're gonna need
like so if you have two twos then you will you will burn probably one because the collection is
deflationary um you'll you'll burn one or like multi you know bring them together is what jesus wears
um yeah so there's there's still a lot left to explore on somo but really cool uh website and um
but it's definitely it's definitely super duper and creeps because uh some of the same team that works
for super duper and overlord is also working for uh portal coin and somo so there's no doubt that it's
not us but the only hesitancy i have is um joe the co-founder of of creeps was on a space and he said
that he had hoped we hadn't seen the artwork yet so another theory going around is that this new
collection because they're not doing a one-for-one and they told us that they couldn't do like a one-for-one
claim so if you got 20 creeps you get 20 rooms um they said it wouldn't work with the size of the
new collection so some theories going around is that the the runes are actually going to be uh trainers
uh for the somo and then based on how many trainers you have then you would get x amount of somo based on
those trainers so you know another another possible theory is that it could actually be the land nfts
there could actually be like 10 000 or 11 111 land nfts um and depending on the rarity
of the land nft right that could be a determining factor as to how many monsters or what rarity of
monsters might be uh might be capturable on that land i hadn't really even thought about that until
here real recently but they have called it the hero character so i'm like i'm hesitant to think that
runes our land nft so i don't know man there's we don't know but we're pretty sure that it's the
somo ecosystem in one way or another yeah yeah but and i'm pretty sure we're going to be minting
this with portal coin would be my guess i think it's going to be the first live active mint on portal
coins platform would be my guess oh that sounds really interesting i'm definitely going to check it

um you know separate from creeps i know some people are doing that so just hopping lizard hands
uh and even if you're trying to add more more runes um then uh that could be an option as well

had bought a creep without a rune and then i found someone in the discord and basically he he bought my
creep for floor price he attached the rune to it and then i just bought it back and then i paid
0.18 e for the for the rule nice that's pretty good bro a rune too i like it and you're creating
and you're creating some volume that's another good thing um kyle what'd you think of the uh list from
portal coin were you was that bullish for you or no looks like the wag me cabal and the lag me cabal
