How do you come up with dinners?
That is the biggest bane of existence in our family.
It's terrible.
It is. So we have like, you know, everybody in the house does different things.
And, you know, you've got couples here. And then've got family here and then Papa's exhausted from work. And it's like at
the end, and then we all just end up, you know, ordering something and it sucks because it's so
expensive. Yeah. Yeah. So does everybody like, do they all have different dietary needs? Just one.
Yeah, just one. Like, because you you got different can you can you like say okay
this week is this this this this family's responsible this day of the week this family's
responsible for that day of the week this one's you know and you just make something that end
date then you don't have to think about every day true that's a good idea yeah you know because
they're all adults they can all be like even I started with my kids like they used to have to
cook meals like one one one night a week.
I mean, we didn't always stick to it, but.

I was never that mom.

But I, everybody I talked to, they're like, well, raising children is like creating people for to be functioning adults in society.
Well, I never did that. So we had a very different dynamic but it's not excusable because
that really hurt them in the long run do you know what I mean um you can you can yeah yeah that's
true that's true but it's just I love it when parents are like oh yeah no they're you know one
week or one day out of the week they're responsible responsible for this. And I never, I never did
that. So it's weird now for me to go and tell them or talk to them. Because then I'm like,
is that rude of me? Do you know what I mean? Not rude of you? Because it also treats them like
adults. True. You know, because they're there, they're living there. You know what I'm saying?
So it's like, okay, this is part of the shared responsibility. Mama bears shouldn't have to
figure out how to cook for 10 people every night that's kind of
crazy oh that's it shared responsibility I like that that's shared your shared little shared
responsibility shared space you know that kind of stuff so yeah and then you only have to think of
about three nights and then you can ask chat GPT exactly have you done that I've actually heard
people okay I've heard people go through their their cabinets and they're like I have I
and read off ingredients and then tell it you don't even have to do that you don't even have
to you can just take a picture oh and send the picture and say this is what's in my fridge what
should I make for dinner oh my god what's in my plate but I've got too many layers of stuff so
I'm like but I I've asked I certainly asked chad gbt what's my ideas for dinner tonight I've got
right or I've got this.
And it comes up with all kinds of interesting stuff.

like I'll have images of from chat ops and
in one of the project files I'll have the light paper or any other specific documentations that
I use on a regular basis let's say like remember that cheat sheet I gave you yes that's in there
so it can pull from all of those things on whatever thing I whatever thing and so then
in the project I'll have different things okay so now I'm going to talk to, I need to get for chat ops, I need to create a one page document
for all of the Cypher people to be able to send out to other people. So help me create that. And
then I'll have another thing like, okay, I got to deal with this with Brownian, and it'll be
something with that, or else I need to do a chat ops post. And then I'll have another,
another thread underneath it saying, okay, I want to do a chat ops post and then I'll have another another thread underneath it um saying okay I want to do a chat ops post okay and yeah so I just need to get a little bit
more okay I'll work on that um gosh that's brilliant yeah it's weird because I told you
I really have a difficult time prompting um and I think that that's not just a skill that everybody
has um and I'm not and I'm pretty I'm pretty vague like I'm very to the point like if you ask
me something I don't sugarcoat things like I'll tell you exactly what I feel and how I feel about
it but when it comes to certain things I tend to well you know that you talk to me all the time I'm
like over here and I'm over here and oh we're back over here so I think that's probably one of my
that'll be a challenge of mine. I will learn
how to use these prompting mechanisms better. Yeah. Well, and if you want me to, we can go

appreciate that what uh what mike did you say that was or did you not say um it is the elgato dx i
believe um i actually got the whole setup the whole kit i actually got a pretty good deal. I got about, I think it was like $850
worth of stuff for about like $550, $600. But I got the mic, the boom, the Stream Deck Pro,
the Wave XLR, and the Stream Deck USB dock. So far it's been pretty good. The only thing I hate
is when you get all this new fancy stuff, it takes you what feels like years to set up.
But once the Stream Deck's set up, it'll be so much more smooth, so much more productive as far as, you know, when I want to create NFTs,
I just hit one button and my six tabs that I need to create list and mint all just pop up at once. And then I can press another
button to go live on spaces. So it should help productivity with the pinky stuff. Absolutely,
tremendously. But yeah, yeah, I'm pretty excited. So hopefully, like I said, the production quality
gets a little better. And I know I know Harry Richards, he got the same exact setup. That way, as we had issues, we could come together and figure out how to do it.
So that's one thing.
We were like, you know, you could get this and I could get that.
But then if we have a problem, then we're stuck.
So we both went ahead and got the full same setups 100%.
So it makes it much easier to troubleshoot and with the thing like the stream deck
You can send profiles over so I can create a profile for like all of our links
I can send it to him. He can upload it and have all the buttons ready to go and accessible
And that's actually what he did for me because I got mine about a day or two later. So I got that little jump start but
When it comes to audio, I want to beat my head against the keyboard.
We'll get that.
You might want to look into getting, what do you call those things,
the plosive filter, the little thing that kind of goes in front
to kind of help
screen some of the
peas like that
kind of
sounds that might
help a little bit. Yeah, he's talking
about the foam condom that goes over the end
of the mic.

so for now I do know that I was wanting to get one of those filters, but I've really just kind of been trying to dial in.
And I also haven't messed with the EQs too much, so I know there's a lot of different EQ stuff that could go a long ways, but really, I've just been trying to get it set up
so I can get back into these spaces
because now that I've had all this audio stuff
hooked up through my computer,
it makes it a pain in the butt to switch back and forth,
trying to go to this speaker or this input or that output.
So once I get it all set up,
everything should roll much, much smoother.
And where did you get that?
That was my last
question i got it straight from the elgato website they have a kit that you can get that comes with
the stream deck and the usb port um as a kit and then they have a full xlr kit which comes with the
mic the boom and then the x XLR converters for it.

Of course you are. They got really good, high-quality stuff.
I can say that, to be honest, we were going to go with the RODECaster,
but the RODECaster, Harry was telling me, um, something I didn't
know is it is XLR input only. So when you go and want to run something, let's say from your phone
or your browser, you got to have some sort of adapter for this and adapter for that. You can
spend two, three, $400 just on adapters, trying to get everything up and running to where the
stream deck is pretty
utilitarian it's anything that takes usbc you can just plug right into and and stream it right
through your audio so yeah the roadcaster is more of a dedicated audio mixer uh audio device mixer
versus virtual inputs and stuff like that, like the Stream Deck does.
I will say the plus with that is because these are virtual,
you will get a much, much crispier sound out of something like that
because I know when they push it through the virtual,
it through the virtual, you know, you get a little bit of that downgrade or the little
you get a little bit of that downgrade
or a little bit of the degradation.

No, and we've seen a lot of frustration with the Roodcaster, just especially with X spaces,

then X thinks that music is the broadcast rather than the background music. It's very freaking
confusing and I still haven't figured
out fully, but I know what to do. I just haven't been able to do it yet. So, uh, but pain in the
butt, but I think once everything gets going, it'll, it'll run very smooth.
