Thank you. Y'all came back now.
Yeah, we're six to hold us back on us.
Joe Mama fucking whispering, bro?
That's pretty impressive.
we're under the influence okay and then
someone was trying to like be quiet
and like whisper but their mouth was like really
cotton mouth and it wasn't because of weed either
fucking hear a damn word all you heard was just
You just triggered mama there.
His mouth noises. Oh my god.
Papa does this thing where he likes to
fuck with his snush-snush
really long, he tries to get the corners
in and I'm like, oh my God, babe, what are you doing?
I try so hard to be patient, but I can't.
When my mustache gets too long.
Snash. Snash. That doesn't make sense. It does. It's a Snash Nash. Nash. Snash. Snash.
Snash. That doesn't make sense.
So, it drives me crazy when it goes over my lip.
And so, then I find myself just, like, trying to, like like bite it with the corner of my mom like
dude but then you're bringing it further over your lip how does that make any sense
okay the ultimate goal is to trim it or well I guess take it out but I know ideally you just trim it with with the trimmer no no no yeah i used to trim my mustache above my lip and
then i stopped that and then i used to bite my mustache when i would bite like a hamburger or
something that was annoying for a little bit but eventually stopped i just don't know how you guys handle facial hair. Like, I feel like it would be so itchy.
That's mainly like the beard.
Do you brush your beard and have oil and all that shit?
No, I do tend to brush my mustache sometimes.
But, yeah, no, I don't fuck with all that oil shit.
There's some people who are like really into it.
Like they deep condition it and exfoliate it.
I've even seen dudes fucking flat iron that shit.
You know what I'm talking about?
You don't know what a flat iron is, babe.
I mean, I don't have hair, so I usually, you know.
It's like you pinch it together and it, like, burns your hair into straightness.
It's the opposite of a curling iron.
It's good to make grilled cheeses with.
It's good to make grilled cheeses with.
I have heard that. I have heard.
You can make, you can make, you can even
make like paninis with that shit, bro.
aren't they like only like an inch or two wide?
So what? You do it in, you do it
To me, that's a better idea
than putting it in the fucking toaster.
No, you wouldn't do that in the toaster.
You would do it on a pan.
Not everybody has an oven, babe.
You don't even need an oven.
You just need a burner and a pan.
Maybe you don't have a burner.
But you've got electricity so you can plug it in
But you've got electricity, so you can plug it in, so you can use your flat iron.
So you can use your flat iron
Well if I can do that once a day
At least that makes me happy
Yeah Miemer how are you doing
Hey I know you much rather be with your daughter Hi, Miemer. Yeah, Miemer, how are you doing? Miemer's back. Hey.
I know you'd much rather be with your daughter than us.
Did you ever for a few days?
Yeah, I had a Wednesday till today.
Damn, you really get used to that.
Are you guys on, like, a different schedule now?
No, it was basically my ex. She's pregnant again, and she thought she was going to have the baby,
so they had her in the hospital.
And then a contraction slowdown, so she got let out today
because I don't want to keep him in.
And then, yeah, she was like, oh, can I pick her up?
And I was like, oh, okay, yeah.
Well, cheers to let's hope that when she gets really busy with the baby that you can just have your daughter all the time.
Well, she's already asked me to be on standby, like if she goes into labor.
She's like, oh, you know, even if it's like at night, can we call you and you like come grab her or whatever?
There'll be more time with my daughter than me.
Will that be her second one?
That'll be her second one.
I mean, there's maybe you'll be having your daughter a lot more.
Yeah. They'll have four kids in total between them, so...
Okay, so they already got a full house.
Well, between the two houses they go, I guess.
He's got, like, a two bed, and I think his is, like, a two or three, but his is, like, a flat.
palming them off to his like dad or something
or they're not like running away from home
for days at a time oh that's right
I remember you telling me that dude
oh god I am so lucky I never had telling me that, dude. Fuck. Oh, God.
I am so lucky I never had to experience that.
And I, knock on wood, I hope my grandkids never do that shit either.
But, yeah, I never, my boys never wanted to run away.
I did have a lot of kids at my house that I didn't know, like, what their status was.
But I was never, like, harboring children on the run.
Like, that's fucked up but
damn damn damn well it's good to hear your voice did you do your space today i didn't even check
i was like i felt very i've been feeling a bit tired since i dropped 12 actually so i was like
i'm just gonna go to your space nice i'll And I'll do mine, like, tomorrow. Yeah. Well, X has been really jacked up, just so you know.
Yeah, people's posts aren't working.
Spaces, trying to find spaces.
Like, it's been really crazy.
So they must be doing a major update.
Let's see. All that money is, like, to really good company. Yeah, exactly. Let's see, all that money is like terrific news.
I actually did lower my subscription, though.
I think it's today the 25th.
So I think my subscription changed today.
I changed it from premium plus because i was like well first of
all i'm not getting paid by x anymore um and i haven't for damn near two months and then secondly
i'm like i don't see any different you know what i mean like i don't know how my reach isn't that
great so and there's been so many technical issues so it'll be interesting because rick actually said
that he has seen his uh reach be better with with the regular compared to even having the premium.
So it'll be very interesting.
But I can tell you saving, what, like, I don't know, like $37 a month will be nice.
So put it towards something else that matters.
I don't think my plus is worth it.
I actually got paid the other day as well.
That's your biggest one, no?
Aside from the first one?
First and the first, second, and third were bigger, I think.
It's been like a week or two since I got paid.
Yeah, first was $56,000 and $31,000, $28,000, $43,000,
then $16,000, which was when they did that with real.
And they started deactivating people.
And then that was on the 12th of β that was on the March 29th.
And then this one, I got so nice yeah that definitely because i
wasn't expecting it yeah that definitely affirms what i'm gonna do then yeah fuck that yeah i'm
just gonna i'm just gonna go monetize another account for myself yeah and interestingly i
never got i never actually got deactivated or anything so right. Well, and now I know how to move differently.
I've appealed this account, but I don't think they're going to do shit with it.
But I'm just going to go start moving another account.
I don't think it's going to be Mama Bear, though.
okay i don't know i don't know what it's gonna be but it'll be something yeah i'm super um i
I don't know what it's going to be, but it'll be something.
wanted to remind you too tomorrow is a rick's ai class in the morning yeah or morning for me
uh shit let me look but i think it might be a what's your time a decent time so i'm 4 12 right
now uh p.m so i'm pacific standard sorry okay and what time pacific standard is ricks i'm 4.12 right now PM. So I'm Pacific Standard. Sorry.
Okay. And what time Pacific
to look it up right now. Shit.
Eastern. 10 a.m. Eastern, which would be
So, I mean, if you're able to check it out i think it'd be cool um i just think it's something that you would enjoy especially
with how much you love your memes um maybe you could do something with the ai portion of it you
know yeah that'd be cool um so i had your message rig the other day as well because obviously he
asked me and i'll go into that Friday thing.
I ended up messaging him on the Saturday because obviously I was busy.
And I was like, oh, I'm really sorry.
And I had my daughter and stuff.
And he's like, oh, that's cool.
And they do it every Friday anyhow.
We didn't have our space, but we did it over with the Green Pill Collective for D-Bros, or was that Saturday?
I don't even fucking remember.
And then they ended up, yeah.
Of course, X was having so many problems that they said.
Didn't end up working out anyway.
They're doing the, I guess, they're maybe doing it next Friday
I think that's what I heard
I think I've made a decision that I'm just going to do that
Because I can even go get another
And work on that monetization
And then I'll still be paying less than I do.
Than I was for just this one account.
Redoing my card thing as well.
Like I haven't actually started the business yet.
I've come up with a new name.
And I've been doing the logos. Oh, and I've been doing the logos.
That's what I've been doing with my daughters.
Yeah, I got the domain name and all that good stuff.
I'm so glad you're doing that.
Yeah, I'm getting ready for it.
My next thing is just building a website.
So I'm just looking at different ways if I can do that
like what's going to be a good solution
do you know how to build a website meanwhile
I'm not very good at the coding but I've been using
help me with a lot of stuff
so I'm just going to see what the
don't forget you have a Grok up on the stage
with you right now that knows how to do that
I know the other one I have.
I might have to pick your brain at
some point when I look at building the
But yeah, because I've never built my own website.
Like, I was going to do it in my last one, but because we're mainly TikTok, I just, you know, I was just on there.
But having a website is much better.
Are you going to do anything special on the website,
or is it just more to advertise the business?
And then eventually, once I start the business,
we start getting more stock and stuff,
I'll probably want it to have online sales and things.
Obviously, I'll need like want it to have online sales and things. Okay.
You know, obviously I'll need a system for that, like a system for putting on the stock,
a way of taking payments, things like that.
So it's kind of working on how, because I've been looking at, like, obviously you've got
the Shopify, you've got Squarespace, there's Wix.
There's a few places where, you know, it costs the business money every month.
But, you know, they have a lot of integrated stuff that works.
Papa and I were just talking about things that I want him to do.
I'm like waiting for you to talk.
I usually count to 20 and just cross my fingers.
Just see if I start unmuting and saying something.
Gotcha. and saying something gotcha
anyway um no um we that that does remind me memer we we still have our unopened box
oh yeah our unopened blaster box we're like trying to figure out what
do we want to like actually
just open it up just for the fun of it
That's the eight-pack Blaster one, right?
It'll probably, definitely,
well, as long as BFriends keep building,
which, you know, I'm pretty confident they will.
The Chromas deal is a multi-year deal,
so there'll be another set next year um it will go up in the future as well because obviously there's more get ripped and opened it'll become harder to get sealed products as the time goes on
but are they going to be making more like a shipment or there'll be there'll be no more of these these are done um oh so uh the
next one in 26 will be a new set so um it'll have different characters and any characters that are
the same they'll be they won't have the because if you noticed like if you've seen the pictures
online these all the ones in this set, aside from the Ninja, have first Chrome
because they're the first Topps Chrome cards of that character.
The reason the Ninja in the set doesn't have that
is because the Ninja was actually the pre-release one they did at Comic-Con.
So that was the first ever V-Friend to get a Topps Chrome card,
which is why in this set it doesn't say first Chrome
because it's not actually the first print.
So these are like the first editions of Sgt.
So at this rate, if this is all we can get,
like there's the likelihood of there being any more out there
in the wild at GameStop or whatever is low, I would assume, then?
Yeah, very, very low from what I've been seeing as well.
You know, there's little pockets of areas where people have got them, but it's getting very dry out there for them.
Right. So you imagine maybe in, I don't know, the middle of Alabama, rural Alabama that has a GameStop that no one's ever heard of, of VFriends. And so that they're like, hey, I don't know, we just got a few of these boxes just laying here. I don't know, like, you know, what this is or whatever, but it's not like I'm going to be able to get a whole set or something.
Which is funny because people around here don't even know what VFriends are,
I was just trying to take it a little more extreme.
And did you see the thing on VFriends as well?
Was it being shown on the tour buses that go to Disneyland?
is kind of like the base?
Because you've also got to factor
not only does it get harder to get sealed
products the amount of cards that are in good condition will go down because not everyone is
going to keep the cards in good condition so it was it's like pokemon right like trying to find
a first edition base set even for common cards gets hard because as kids there's millions of
those cards but as people get older they move houses
throw them away they do whatever it just goes down over time and obviously they'll never print again
yeah this is just interesting because i've i've never been really into the whole
I've never been really into the whole collectibles.
I mean, aside from NFTs, but sort of like physical collectibles,
I've never actually done that.
So I guess as long as there's still a market for VFriends
and people actually interested in them, then it could go up.
I was trying to figure out, like, do we open it up
or not? And I don't really
foresee wanting to collect
the schools myself, because I'm just, I don't know.
Yeah, I don't like stuff.
If it was useful, I mean, as far as it had utility,
Like a game. He loves games.
Yeah, it's, you know, if you want to,
it's really up to the person,
but I'd say for the most value, you'd probably want to just keep it sealed up.
And then obviously the blasters that you've got are special in a way
because the blasters are the only ones that have the chance for the yellow refractors,
whereas the booster box has normal refractors, which are in silver.
And there's also an adaptable Alien exclusive, I think, in the Blaster Z-Apex.
But in theory, there could be something in this box.
That is worth way more than that. there could be something in this box in theory like worth
but the likelihood of that is probably
yeah it's definitely lower
see that's why you have to
what are the chances of getting
these cards and things like that,
and then weighing up whether you'd rather keep it sealed
and then hold it over a longer period of time,
or trying to be risky and opening it with much lower chances,
because obviously there's only eight packs as well, so much lower chances.
But if you hit, like, that one card, yeah yeah it could be worth a lot of money like you know you
hit a sketch or something then like 500 i think they've been selling for um and then obviously
you got the black cats and stuff like that um but obviously there's also a chance you won't get any
of those so it's how you weigh it up in your head. For me, personally, the way
say I lived in the US and I was actually
I would have at least brought
two, and I would have opened one and then
I mean, that makes sense.
she said there were three
and then when we get there there's one
we could have had all three
we could have done it but no
because the thing is as well
if you wanted to collect a base set,
I think people have been selling the base sets of them
Well, about $100, $120 for a full base set.
So that's good if you wanted the loose cards
and you just wanted a base set.
A base set being all the characters, but just in the standard print like no specials no numbers um so that's a good
option if you wanted a base set to just go out and buy it and you know it's much the same with
pokemon as well if you're collecting pokemon or something like that the cheapest way to do it
if you're a collector and you're like i want to collect the set is do not buy any packs
wait a couple of weeks until after
full set from someone it'll always work out
cheaper than buying packs
packs you would have to buy
naturally to try and make
it really depends on your look
to be honest but the chances are very low i would say uh for the average person you know some people
get lucky they can do it in a reasonable amount of packs but most people will pay way more than
if they just waited and then brought
the set from someone uh but you know to a lot of people in their mind it's that
trick of like oh because you've brought the packs and maybe you've spaced it out right like you
brought some on launch and then you brought some the next week and then maybe you brought some
you know a couple of weeks down the line in your mind you've not spent that much because it's spaced
out uh and there's also the thing of like you know people get a lot of joy out of opening them
like oh what am i gonna get so yeah yeah yeah it's you know very similar to nfts in that way
because you know it's like when you buy nTs, the smartest thing to do, usually,
if you don't get a chance to mint is,
or if the mint's like a high price,
as you wait, it mints out.
Then, you know, you just buy the floor one.
Don't look at any traits, how it looks, whatever.
Wait for it to go up and sell. But obviously, hardly anyone will do that with any NFT project.
Same with trading cards because
it's the fun right like you want a chance to mint it and see what you get or when you do go to the
secondary you're like oh okay i'll buy the base one and you look at it and then you look at the
others and you're like oh actually you know for a little bit more i can get something i like it's really giving me some ideas for
have you been paying attention to the
I saw obviously because I have my daughter
I think but I did see like a little
post on them they're like are they in collaboration with that alien one?
Because they look very similar.
So Yeti's the one that Mad Queen is doing, right?
Yeah, so I mean, I guess technically they're both gpc members but um but no i think
the way that and someone can correct me if they know more um but they're they're doing kind of
like a coin flip nft where you mint a coin flip and i guess depending on if you flip you either
can i don't know how that part works and i i but basically it's kind of like a instead
of just getting a whitelist kind of thing maybe it it does something a little different as it's
just unique right it's cool to see all these new kinds of people trying to be creative either with
the reveal process the minting process the
you know just like how with bearish for example how how they did an optional reveal rather than just you know yeah how like normal and if he's been like okay well we'll go ahead and and keep
the pre-reveal and then um we'll reveal on x day? They kind of gamified it a little more and said,
all right, well, we'll make it so it's an optional reveal.
You can reveal it whenever you want,
so you can leave it unrevealed, right?
Yeah, that's pretty cool,
because B-H did the same, and I thought,
when I revealed mine, I thought that was really fun.
It was just a fun way of doing it.
And also, historically, people like like that it's kind of like
the sealed boxes right you know you you sell a uh you know the air on the bear on ice or um
or or the beast on the hive kind of thing you know you there's like the whole Like speculation Is it going to be something really cool
And then have the fun to actually open it up
Actually no one's done it with them being
In like trading card packs or something
But I am surprised no one's done it
You know, all the different TCGs are
Could you have a physical
not a physical NFT but an NFT
associated to the physical cards
Or would you get in trouble for that?
So I have a major, major amount of Pokemon cards.
So then I come out with a project and if somebody mints,
say one of my more rare parts of the collection,
then they not only get that NFT that they pay for,
but they also get some of my cards.
so like a certain mint number matches.
But can you imagine how dope that would be?
And I'm wondering then could you get in trouble for that?
So let's say the VFriends cards, right?
So we go and buy as many as we possibly can of the Chromes, right?
Then we come out with some type of project, NFT, whatever it is.
And then depending on which one they get, they also get that card with it.
And then if they actually wanted to have it essentially mailed to them.
And the even cooler part would be for it to be something super interactive to where you have it being streamed.
And then you would then be able to bring other people from different sectors into your collection, like the normies.
Because then not only are you putting together those cards
and that NFT, you're also bringing new money to the blockchain.
Like, what do you think about that?
That's an interesting process.
Yeah, I think that's interesting uh i was actually more on about like just on the reveal of like an nft like you know um you know like beish and bearish instead of like the ice cube or the honey thing
it would just be like a pack that you've designed so it looks like a sealed tcg pack and then when
you open it it like rips itself open.
You see what you have inside.
Oh, that would be so cute.
And then it like slops out.
Like, can you imagine yours?
And then it just like comes out and starts flopping.
And then you like can push it over.
And then it goes into the water so it can still live.
What if it was like a scratch-off ticket of thing you know like how you have to you
rub your mouse yeah i think those are cool too i think that's cool too or or i think it would be
really cool to do kind of like a little puzzle um you know how it makes you do a puzzle to guarantee
that you're human um you could do something like that too but i don't know but so do you think that you could get in trouble though? I mean,
cause those are your assets. You know what I mean? Like,
say I owned like 500 tops,
and then I took those and then went and attached them to something.
It would just be me giving that to that person i don't know i mean that's
what i'm asking legally do you think you could get in trouble for that i wouldn't think so
i think i think gary v would think i'm a genius for this babe yeah yeah that's arbitrage baby
well they did an interesting thing with the Chrome as well.
I don't know whether it was the V1 Spectaculars
or all of the people who were in a VFriend Series 1,
but I know they got a chance to pre-order their Topps Chrome
and get ahead of everyone else.
So if you held one of those,
you had the chance to just basically pre-order the boxes
and then either sell them and make a ton of money,
or, you know, you just get all your trading cards ahead of everyone else,
even before the tops actually sell them themselves.
Papa's thinking, I can tell.
Papa's thinking, I can tell.
Sorry, my brain was, the wheels were turning on the inside.
Well, I just went to go put a piece of gum in my mouth and it tastes like orange and my gum is not orange, it's mint.
It's like orange and my gum is not orange.
Is that because you just drank some orange juice?
And I don't have orange essential whatever next to me.
I just needed to know on spaces if you poisoned my gum.
Yeah. Couldn't tell you there.
Oh, Mimer, isn't a life with Mama Bear amazing?
Can't you imagine having to deal with me every day oh shit it's good stuff bro um so I forgot
what else I was gonna ask I don't know I think that that's a unique thing and you need to put
it in your mind I like to come up with unique ideas I don't know and and how cool would it be
if you could actually do some kind of collaboration with somebody like Mimer, who has, you know, he's getting back into the TCG side of things.
So if you were able to somehow bridge that and then bridge that back over to a project, you know, because people really like that.
Mimer talks about it all the time, Like people have actually paid to purchase whatever,
and then they want to see it be opened.
Joe Mama's talked about it too.
it wouldn't be kind of interesting if,
if like you essentially were able to record the,
and then post those so people could all kind of like just see a scroll of all the reveals.
Finish your phone. Just like how, you know... Sorry. No, no, go ahead.
how they were doing bearish reveals on abstract
Get a bunch of people like, hey, let's
crack a bunch of bears and
I think that would be kind of cool.
I was just going to say as well, I think
something that would be cool would be like, so you know, like VFriends, so you got like Pudgy Penguins with the Vibes game.
It'd be cool if like owning the NFT gave you a chance to like owning that gives you an opportunity where if you wanted to set up a business, you can then become, you can then like directly get the products from them.
become you can then like directly get the products from them uh so say like you know i owned a pudgie
i own a vfriend it means that if i then go and set up a real world business i can then like go
onto vfriend site connect it already knows you've got an ft and it's like okay now you know that
gives you straight access regardless of you know how far along your business is to buy it at the wholesale
so that you can then stock it in your business and sell it because one thing that is hard
when you run like a tcg store or something like that especially in the uk because there is one
company that is basically distributed distributed for everything uh is supplies company that is basically a distributor for everything is supplies right
that's why a lot of people struggle to break through with it because you have to be really
smart about where you're sourcing your stuff from it's very difficult to break into it and they
throw up a lot of barriers a lot of people like the biggest supplier their biggest problem is
being VAT registered but that's not necessarily the
problem the problem is they don't do any checks either so even if someone owns a restaurant a
plumbing company whatever they if as long as they're vat registered they can register with them
and literally just buy up as much product as they can get their hands on wholesale
and then just resell it and even
undercut margins of genuine game stores because to them it's like a side hobby and they're still
making money or whatever but they're taking you know product out of direct stores hands basically
and this you know this distributor isn't checking them so So they're clogging up all the orders.
I say it myself with a few other game stores I do know over here
that they'll order from that big supplier
who's the main distributor for everything
and even the ones who have genuine brick-and-mortar stores
They're constantly getting orders cancelled and things like that.
So if you had the opportunity to like, i can buy this nft i can go directly
and set up with them and they'll check you know have you got a website or do you do it on tick
tock whatever with you know just a basic check on that okay they're doing it uh we'll just supply
you directly wholesale uh rather than you know go for a distributor who's um you know whose rules
or things around like oh we only serve genuine card stores is made of bullshit and it never
actually ends up at the stores uh you know because the benefit to that is you know if it ends up in
genuine stores then you know like when i had my shop, well, it's on TikTok,
so it's reaching an audience globally,
which has helped building the brand of whatever card game I'm selling.
If someone's doing it on whatnot, which I think is very smart for VFriends,
again, it's reaching a global audience.
If someone owns a brick-and-mortar store,
then it's gaining popularity in that area where they sell
so yeah those are my thoughts on that now in the uk is is there only the one distributor because
there's one it's asmodee uh and they brought out the original which was elysium games and then they
sold to asmodee which is an american company but
they are the single distributor for basically pokemon and every other tcg there's a couple of
others you can go to that are like secondhand ones but all the actual product goes directly to asmode
but is that because they have an exclusive agreement with the companies or is it just because
i i believe they must do agreements with the companies but essentially they've got a monopoly
on the whole market and because of the way they run their business and don't do the checks and just
you know let all these you know they either let huge online retailers get all the stock, or all these other companies, not even card stores, are able to order it.
It means that the actual genuine brick and mortars,
or the genuine onlines, can't actually get anything.
And they're very unreliable.
I was asking a couple of the game stores I know,
and they were saying, yeah, we've placed orders with them several times,
and we'll put the order in, and we okay your order is accepted product comes out on x next date and then every single time it'll get near that date and I'll go oh sorry we don't have enough
uh so we've cancelled your order because they'll just sell to whoever buys the most
but they don't actually check to see you you know, whether it's a legitimate company or not.
Yeah, that seems like it could be improved a little.
Because, I mean, you know, at the end of the day,
they're looking after their bottom line by like,
oh, yeah, we've sold everything out,
but they're not looking after the hobby as a whole because if you don't have genuine stores
and you don't have genuine online stores with people who actually know what they're handling
what they're selling and can actually you know give genuine feedback to customers or like the
ones who go on tiktok or whatnot they're essentially creating a community for people online the brick and mortar stores are obviously creating you know an even more important personal
community where people can go in and actually play the game rather than just sat at home
for a bunch of cards that they just get to look at them because there's no one to play with
um so you know their bottom line is great but they're just harming the hobby.
And effectively, they're harming the uptake of the hobby as well.
Because, you know, when I was younger, you get Pokemon anywhere.
And, you know, everyone was playing it.
And now because of it getting stripped out like this, you can't really get it.
And if you do find it for sale, it's above a retail price.
And it's pricing kids out because parents aren't going to be like, oh, well, yeah, I'm not paying ridiculous money for this.
We're not bringing new people into it.
How could you change this like i mean
the main thing would be um you know especially well specifically for the uk
you want to make sure that they can supply more than one single wholesaler and the companies
where they go oh okay but we don't have that much choice because
there's not that many because they don't exist then they should have an option where you can
go to them directly and say look i have a online i have a bricks and mortar store i want to supply
your tcg and get people into the game and do this they should have a way where you could deal with them directly you know if they're gonna use the excuse of like oh there's not the wholesalers which they might
not be but i'm pretty sure people who wholesale like board games or other retail toys if they
actually opened it up and said hey you know we don't just want to send it all to house mode we
want to distribute it to a few different people. They'd probably snap their hands off, you know what I'm saying?
Or, you know, if they're going to stick with the single one retailer,
they need to really lay down the law with them and say,
hey, you know, we are going to take this away from you
unless we see an improvement.
We want to make sure that you're actually supplying genuine stores.
You're getting supplies to brick-and-mortar stores. We want to see how you're actually supplying genuine stores you're getting supplies to brick and mortar stores we want to see how you're supporting those genuine stores and if you're
not up to that standard then you will lose the rights to sell it and distribute it
have you have you thought about actually opening up like a brick and mortar uh i thought about it i think it's something where like once i get back into it if i can grow
again like i did previously with like the tiktok and maybe do some on whatnot and get to a certain
size and i think i probably will uh go ahead and open a wreck and mortar but i you know uh won't have the initial
money to set up for that because obviously it's a lot more costly um
yeah so but eventually i would like to yeah i'd like to have an actual store
and you know supply tcgs you know be able to have the game night, be able to supply other, you know, collectibles,
like the figures, the licensed stuff, things like that.
That would be so awesome, especially if you did, like, a pub.
That would be a good idea.
That would be a good idea yeah that'd be a cool idea um and also i would like to be able to
like not just do the pokemon but i'd like to be able to like when i start doing this and growing
it i'd like to be able to you know source v friends products and source like the pudgy penguins
vibes and then anything else that comes out in web 3 that's got a big momentum or a big brand they've built behind it,
to be able to get that out as well and sort of integrate my passion for Web3
into my other passion, which is trading cards,
and actually help them expand.
It's funny, I hadn't really thought about it,
but I mean, kind of, but not really,
of the correlation between people who trade NFTs
and people who collect actual, like, TCGs.
But it makes complete sense.
I'm like, I don't know why i didn't think about that before yeah they're very similar actually i think if you speak to a lot of people
who collect nfts they've probably collected either pokemon tcgs or they've collected something right
like it's a lot of stemmed from somewhere and then you know because they're so similar the only
difference is really you don't
usually get anything physical with the nft but it's a very similar thing and like you know
minting an nft is essentially like ripping open a tcg pack you don't know what you're gonna get Beanie Babies Oh my god
I don't think I was like a collector or anything
But I mean, I came across them.
Yeah, my sister was in the Beanie Baby Club.
And now she collects, oh, what are they called?
She's got like over a hundred of them. Jelly cats?
If you look them up online they're like
soft cuddly toys but they do all different ones oh um you know they've got they've got bunnies
they've got ones that are like gnomes they've got turtles dragons they're all like handmade
um and i know the other thing that a lot of people are really into collecting if you've heard of them
is lounge fly they do like backpacks
and they're usually licensed
backpacks. They're like Mickey Mouse ones
Some people are really into those
and then obviously you know everyone's
What do you call them? Lounge what?
Yep, Lounge Fly backpacks.
Yep, they do Pokemon collabs.
They've got, like, Gengar ones.
People, like, I've seen some people who, like,
the whole house is just filled with those in cabinets.
Interesting. seen some people who like the whole house is just filled with those and cabinets yeah yeah because it's you know we're a weird generation i guess compared to like maybe our parents and the fact that you know we just love collecting this shit but then
you know our parents have different things they collected like especially in the uk i know a lot of parents collected these willow figures that didn't have faces they're like oh they're really weird
you're talking about like um something i used to like or like the precious moments
or like uh hummels um yeah yeah you're right it's
just different shit different era yeah for sure yeah well it's like my dad he has a thing at the
minute of like uh retro stuff uh what is it like 70s oh 60s 70s like furniture and like stuff like
that it's like you know his office phone is like a one of those phones you gotta spin around 60s, 70s, like furniture and stuff like that.
His office phone is like one of those phones you've got to spin around.
He's got the old record players and all sorts of crap that he collects.
He's definitely autistic, which is always in some form,
because it always makes me laugh when he does all this collecting, like, you know, his classic cars business.
That started off just with him being obsessed with collecting this one type of classic car and stuff.
And then it makes me laugh because he's like, oh, I don't know, you know, how your brother is autistic.
If you looked in the mirror.
That's fucking awesome yeah baby you never put together the correlation of
nfts and collectibles it's interesting yep i think that's why all the time you know like
cj talks about pokemon you've got johnny who's into that pretty much everybody well yeah i mean
i i saw the correlation but i mean as far as far as like, I'm like, okay.
No, I get it. Only NFTs, they're not necessarily, they're not physical items.
Maybe you notice we have a new account up here?
I do see that. And I was like, that is a really freaking cool name.
Did you go see who the founder
He was just left in the room.
Papa Bear, if I send you a song are you able to
I can't do it on my computer
the song that I finished a few days
ago it's I made it for Mama Bear
but I fixed one of the verses and added a bridge and added music to it.
It's a really good song, but I need to, I want to show it,
But I didn't know if you had the capability of doing that.
We need to get, what is that called, the roadcaster?
I mean, that's the only way to play it directly into the space for it to sound good, in my opinion.
Oh, you're talking with the software?
No, it's a physical thing.
It's a Rodecaster soundboard.
It's like an audio mixer.
I can play it off my phone, but I don't know how well it's going to sound through the mic.
Yeah, that's the problem that we have with spaces in general.
And it's funny because i go to
some spaces and they've got it like down pat and even creep crew the other day but it's because
they do it straight through the roadcaster so they have it plugged directly into the space
um you can try it but you have to like use like the pillow method but i still find that it doesn't
i don't ever hear a lot of spaces having really good sound quality.
That's why I always tell Papa to fix it.
I'll just send it. I'll just send it through you through DM.
Hell yeah. That's awesome.
So this is your new account. Everybody needs to follow.
Well, I was just, I didn't even, I was just... I didn't even...
I was just... I don't even know if I'm
I don't know. Do you not like it?
I hit writer's block when
Yeah, I like Ink Spire, though.
And he would be like, no, you might find something else.
Is writer's book a real thing?
It happens to me at least three or four times a week.
Yeah, you just got to step away.
Yeah, I have problems sometimes with my speaking, so I can only imagine writing.
Fuck, that shit would be awful.
I'd be like, all right, we need to get a translator to figure out what the hell she's saying.
So you went to the beach.
I mean, of course, it's Memorial Weekend,
but I didn't think of that shit when I left.
hey, I'm bored. Let's go to the beach.
about two hour long traffic just to get to the beach. So, yeah, there was about two-hour long traffic
just to get to the mile marker
Did you take the kiddos with you or did you go by yourself?
Yeah, we had fun out there.
grabbed some family time, you know? That's great. Yeah, it grab some family time, you know?
They get out soon, don't they?
I know my grandkids get out soon.
Yeah, next week is their last week.
Yep, Friday was their last day.
Yeah, this Friday coming up is their last day.
So, yeah,'s nice at the same
time yeah yeah see here we don't they don't get out of school here till end of June um but we
don't get that high heat like you guys do so I think that's one reason they started school earlier then
so then well they do in in the south they start school way earlier than we do but it's still hot
in august so why would they do that i don't i don't fucking... I can't tell you.
It's like daylight savings time, which you're not really saving any daylight.
I don't get it. They don't make sense.
I can show it to you right now.
I mean, play it off my phone, see how it sounds.
I think you should try it.
But it's, I wrote it for people that were, you know,
that have been maybe through domestic violence
or things of those natures.
So it's kind of a powerful song,
but it does have high lyrics.
So that's why I don't think it's going to sound good.
But I can try and play it and see how well y'all hear it.
If you cannot hear it, please let me know.
I'm not going to play the whole song.
I don't know how loud to put my phone at either. Yeah, it just goes in and out, huh?
It's like a little quiet still.
So my idea with the music is the fact that,
so if you and I are in a room together,
we can hear it together because it all bounces everywhere but i think that's the problem is when
you have it on and then it bounces away from the phone you said i'm saying like the sound waves
i don't know i get i feel like that's probably one of the most frustrating things about spaces. Right, babe?
Yeah, it would be nice if there was a better way to
Well, I could go live and play it, and it'll stay there.
If you can do it like that, Joe Mama, that's cool.
I mean, it doesn't have to be broadcasted
over a space. I just wanted Mama
I'll send it to you, Joe.
I'll send it to Margaret.
That's awesome. Have you been having
a good time with that? You and Tech have
been working on that too, right? Or did you
guys cook up something together? Yeah, we're doing a bunch of things together, yeah. And then
some things he's doing alone, some things I'm doing alone. We had a conversation today
earlier because I have a meeting on Wednesday with a big recording studio here in Houston.
So big things might come with that, but we'll see.
That's dope, dude. And have you, and you said, of course, you're an author,
but you used to write when you were in high school. And this, this is something that you've
been more interested in lately. Well, no, it's, well, I guess I've gotten interested in it because
of the tech and just the things with the GPCc and things like that but it's funny because me and tech were having this conversation and i never liked and i like to write songs but
you know when i don't know how to explain it when writers write especially
the writers of my genre we write to release you know we write to release the demons we don't write to hear it again so to hear
it in a song again would just bring up the traumatic effect again and again and again after
hearing it again so that's why i i that's one of the reasons why i got out of songwriting because
i didn't want to hear that song and be reminded of that traumatic event that happened. When you write it in paper, pencil and paper form,
you're releasing your demons.
You're releasing it onto a paper and never hearing or seeing it again.
So, so hearing a song like the one that I made for you to hearing it and
Don't get me wrong. And it, you it you're gonna like it but to hear it I remember what I was going through when I wrote it
so that's that's it kind of sucks about it um so that's the hard part about it but I mean
it is what it is there's not I mean I'm not only writing those type of songs I'm writing
all different types right right and how did you decide that you were
a writer like i've always wondered that i've always wondered like is it just something that
felt good to you to do like you said it gives you a release like how did you how did you start dude
i mean back in the day i was always i was the ones writing the best stories in high school in junior high. I was making really good grades on my
stories we were having to do and my papers I was having to write. And then I got to a point where
I was getting paid to write people's fucking homeworks. So I was like, well, fuck out. I mean,
clearly this is a gift. You know, this is something that I can do, you know. And then it came to a
point where later in my life,
my therapist was telling me to write down my thoughts
instead of, you know, the anger issues
and things of that nature
of what I was going through in law enforcement.
So she was telling me, write it down, write it down.
Just like you say, you're a writer, write it down,
So that way it doesn't, it's not bottled up in your head.
You're writing it, you're releasing it.
So I just continued to write.
And then I started just writing, freestyle writing forever.
And your genre is much more dark, I was going to say.
And that's totally different, like doing anything with children's books or anything like that.
It's just a totally different.
I mean, they can read it, I guess, if they want to be a writer like I am.
Do you think it'll be tripped out if your daughter or your son is like that?
My daughter loves to read my article.
But she's always been one where she can watch a scary movie and it won't
it won't hit her right my son he he watches a scary movie and he can't sleep for fucking four
days yeah yeah very different personalities though yeah yes absolutely yeah she can she's
been one to be able to watch a horror movie since I don't even remember what age she was.
And it doesn't affect her like nothing.
She knows it, but she enjoys the shit out of it.
So she can read my, and she's a writer too.
Like she writes all the time too.
She's a straight A student.
So she's always writing too.
So I think she's going to be really good at it as well.
Yeah, she's always writing me poems.
I love it when there's like a gift.
So I would never talk shit about my children's father to them because I had no need to.
I already dealt with whatever I dealt with with him.
They had their own experience with him and I never felt the need. And people, if you guys are in, you know,
if you're separated from your spouse or you guys are co-parenting, whatever, I really encourage you
to not talk poorly about the other one because I didn't have to. You know what I mean? But it was
interesting because I would find good attributes and try to tell them like, oh, you're a really
good draw. You're really good at drawing just like him. Even though like I want him to burn
in hell and he was the devil to me, that didn't matter because it wasn't for me to put that on
my kids. You know what I mean? So I just, I just, I love how you said that. Cause how awesome will that be?
If she's like an author like you or your son, who knows, maybe, I don't know.
I love that. Like, I don't know that we, they can get so much from us.
She does really good at it too. I've read some of her stuff and she,
she does really good. I mean, really, really good. That's awesome. So hopefully read some of her stuff, and she does really good.
So hopefully, yeah, she continues with it.
Even keeping it as a hobby, I mean, that's great.
I look forward to listening to it.
So are you guys doing a cookout tomorrow, or what are you doing?
I think we did what we were going to do today.
So, I think it's tomorrow.
It's just kind of what I usually do on Sundays is just clean and wash clothes and things like that.
Oh, I have so much clothes I need to wash.
I actually like to do laundry, though.
So, it's all right with me.
But, yeah, tomorrow's definitely laundry day.
Today was supposed to be laundry day.
Well, we can do it today and tomorrow, bro.
Today's almost over, though.
It might be, you know, it might be a two-day affair.
Papa's trying to say I'm really low on laundry.
I'm really backed up on that shit.
You guys ever see those things in the wall?
They're like vacuum cleaners in the wall, and
you just walk by it, and it sucks it in, and then
it takes it to the laundry room for you?
That's what I want in my fucking house. That's dope.
That would be amazing. Right?
No more dirty clothes on the floor.
You just put that motherfucker by the wall, and it
sucks it in. Dude, that's the coolest shit ever you got to build me one of those babe
when when we design our custom home yeah do you ever think we're gonna have a custom home i don't
know i think about that sometimes i'm like well maybe we're just gonna be traveling or maybe we
don't want to own a house. I don't know.
I would think at least a base for our compound, right?
And in our compound, we will have a laundry chute system.
You just got to keep your babies away from it because that motherfucker sucks quick.
away from it because I'm a motherfucker sucks quick.
would it make sense to just have the
laundry like literally right
But I still want the sucker thing
because it comes from other rooms. That's the dopest
Yeah. I don't know. I like
it. It's cool. You know how like in europe they have
the the laundry in the kitchen for some reason yes that seems weird why would you be cooking
and doing your laundry in the same spot i don't know dude i think it's a plumbing thing
memer do you have your laundry in your kitchen? Yeah, it's a pretty standard type of washing machine in the kitchen.
It's, yeah, it's like Mama says.
It's more of a plumbing thing if you have it in the kitchen.
You can just put the waste pipe directly into the same pipe that you water from the sink goes into,
And like, you know, houses over here, you know, the vast majority don't have basements or things like that
he doesn't have a clothes dryer dude
I don't have a dryer I have a
like an outside washing line
I think which is pretty common.
And I also have the indoor one I can get out if it's raining or something like that.
I mean, the outdoor one makes sense if you live somewhere like Arizona,
where it never rains and you just stick it out there for for like you know a half hour hour
10 minutes it's like dry um i i never quite understood that with with places like like
england you know that that would be like i don't know i would yeah but you don't need it to be, like, sunny.
As long as it's, you know, it's a couple of degrees
and, you know, you've got a bit of wind and it's not raining,
it'll still dry really, really fast.
Believe it or not, like, the amount of days I can put washing out
and it'll be cloudy and it's just windy,
you stick it out there, it'll be done in, like, 20 minutes.
Hmm. See? My son son whenever he goes to denmark he always says two things i could not live without here
i'm like what's that mexican restaurant and a dryer
i'm like okay so open a mexican restaurant that you can eat out while you dry your shit he's like
all right perfect i mean there is a lot of people who do have dryers as well.
I just personally don't have one because, you know,
it's like me and my brother live here.
You know, we don't have ridiculous amounts of laundry.
So it's pretty easy to keep on top of.
It's an environmental thing, isn't it?
That you guys don't have that as well
we're more conscious about like the energy we use and then don't forget our energy prices
one the highest in the world as well so you know like I don't have a dishwasher I just hand wash
my stuff because you know why would I get a dishwasher when I'm just using all that energy
for not very many plates or things like that and And then it's the same thing with a dryer.
Like, you know, if I can dry them inside,
hanging up on the thing or outside,
why use all that extra energy and all that cost, basically?
We really, our shit gets really moldy here because it's so wet.
So you can't even like leave your stuff in the washer.
You'd have to restart the whole thing,
even if it's there for like a half of a day.
I don't know if that's maybe a difference in how the house is built as well.
Like we can have like problems with damp in houses,
but generally stuff doesn't really get moldy.
And, you know, it does rain a lot.
Like where I am in Scotland, it's like 265 out of 365 days on average.
So do you have like a lot of brick houses there?
Yeah, mostly all houses are brick.
new way of doing it so the outside will be uh the inside walls will be block and then the
outside will be brick uh older houses um you know it's all the same concept of having a cavity wall
but like some are all brick a lot of the new ones are brick and block so we don't have brick
houses here yeah and then i think out the way our roofs are as well because you guys use a lot of
those shingle things whereas all our houses pretty much have roof tiles or slate things like that
i always wanted one of those um roofs that what is it babe that I want? It makes a.
Ding ding ding ding ding ding.
I want like that really cool.
And it makes magical sounds.
That really have tin roofs over here.
Are like the sheds or outhouses.
Yeah. I want a house with a fucking tin roof. the sheds or outhouses. Yeah. See, I want
a house with a fucking tin roof
You said ting ting ting ting ting ting ting?
Yeah, see, it's such a great noise.
what's that stand-up where he goes
Cat Williams or poor little ting ting who was that yeah can't williams or poor little ting ting
poor little ting ting we were just talking about matt rife yesterday dude i want to go see him so
bad that motherfucker he's so funny oh my god he's so funny yeah he he does really
t walk was saying he wants to go too.
I got to find out maybe when he goes down there, maybe, I don't know.
It would be cool if him and his wife could go.
I could watch the kids or something.
We have a lot of siding, but we definitely have a lot of mold here in Washington.
But when we did go down to Texas, a lot of the houses were brick.
But I just assume that's because of the tornadoes.
Because everybody's about to blow the fuck away.
Because most of your houses are like wood, right?
In America, they're like wood and paper.
And then where I lived in El Paso paso um everything was brick but a lot of um
stucco oh okay so do you have do you know if the brick ones actually have the cavity
or whether they uh just like have a skin of brick because that might make a difference as well
oh yeah that makes sense i think the newer
homes it's definitely i call it click clack click clack bricks because it's literally like
fucking legos and it looks like brick but the whole house is not brick um yeah it's like shit
but we do have higher standards for houses as well i guess and then you know obviously we have
older houses which are literally just built out of like solid massive uh like stone blocks
oh you know what one of my favorite things is um like having travertine um stone like stone walkway. I think that is so beautiful. Oh, I love that look.
What is that? Just slates
of stone. I think it's so beautiful.
That's why I love Europe so much, because I
Cobblestones are so pretty. We don't
have cobblestones here in the States.
Yeah. You just don't have theblestones here in the States. Yeah.
because you don't really have the history.
obviously America's not that old really in terms of modern day civilization.
What is it like 200 years old?
We're like baby bitches compared to overseas though.
Like we are like, we're like the babies.
Yeah, that's really interesting.
And it's funny because people overseas oftentimes tell me, oh, everything here's old.
I'm like, oh, I would love to see everything old every day.
It's interesting how that works, you know?
Yeah, whereas, like, the UK have even got places that are Neolithic,
so, like, 2,000 years before
Not like houses, but, like, you know,
or things that they've built.
It's pretty crazy to think about it.
When you think about it in terms of that, like, that was,
you know, around 2,000 years before baby Jesus came.
Oh, Pads finally made it up.
Yeah. Oh, Pads, are you there yeah i was i was kind of trying to do an intro
bit of music but it's okay oh darn it i'm sorry about that yeah i'll go
how's it just um yeah loving the chat on the
kind of like houses and stuff
I can confirm most buildings in the UK
I'm not right okay let me go back to my notes
but yeah you're good Pats um you're over in the UK too right I'm not right. Okay. Let me go back to my notes. But yeah.
You're over in the UK too, right?
You're in Scotland, right, Mimer?
I'm on the Scottish Highlands now.
I used to live near Nottingham and Birmingham and England.
What's it like in Scotland at the minute?
We've had a lot of sunny days.
A little bit of rain on and off today, which is to be expected.
Generally, where I am in the Highlands is pretty good
because you have the mountains mountains one side you got a
lot of forest so it almost creates like a micro climate so it's generally a little bit better
than the rest of scotland okay so you're not like on the coast i've got friends that live up there
they're like they're always telling me oh my god you know it's reasonable Yeah, close to it.
I assume you're in England somewhere.
Yeah, kind of just in the middle really.
Manchester, like North West.
Yeah, I was trying to place the accent accent but it's hard because i've tried to
explain to these guys like you need to drive like 10 minutes or 20 minutes in the uk and you'll find
a different accent i was literally thinking that i was like can you guys tell each other's accents
well actually yeah like you can you get kind of a set like if, if you're from here, so, like, I knew that Mima was from kind of down south,
so that's when we said Scotland, it kind of threw me.
You can, like, a lot of places don't even have really an accent.
Like, say, if I actually went to Manchester,
because I live in Greater Manchester,
if I went to Manchester City,
they would, like, they would think that I sound more Liverpoolian.
And then if I went to Liverpool, they'd be like,
oh, get out of here, you monk.
So it's kind of like you can fall in between as well with it.
Damn, I would be so wrong.
I thought that you had a Scottish accent.
I just think it's cool how you both sound.
So here we can definitely tell a Southern accent.
And it's definitely like the words that you use and things like that.
Is it the same there? Like here, there'll be like y'all and come in and,
you know, you just kind of have a Southern twang.
But then is it like that too?
So Mimer sounds like he would be like a South version.
Is that what they're saying?
There is, but it's in every way, isn't it?
In the US, it's like North and South.
And in Australia, it's East and West.
Whereas in the UK, it's kind of like everywhere's got a different accent.
People didn't move around a lot in the UK historically.
So like families would live in, you know, like a city or a town for years and years.
So I think that's kind of why ours are way more localized than theirs.
And there's the influx of kind of people coming in and we've had like danish
like the normal conquests as well like uh that's true vikings celtic gaelic and
so that's the kind of theory that a lot of if you look at a lot of the places in the uk with
the strongest accents they're always like
old industrial cities or places where you have like a lot of working class people because they'd
be the ones that are integrated with kind of like foreigners people coming in immigration and stuff
and then you pick up kind of traits of other people's accents over time and yeah that's true we are very diverse uh it's like me my granddad's persian so i'm not
even you know what cracks me up as well as the fact that it's also just such a compact area
like you figure that's um i don't know the uk is yes a tiny tiny island yeah compared to like it's it's
smaller than say california right and you imagine you have all of these different accents in this
one you know small area whereas the you know us is kind of like more like the size of europe as a whole right so you can
imagine sure like oh italians sound differently than germans but you know which that would be
like the equivalent of of you know new yorkers versus someone from Louisiana yeah right but
but if you're talking about shrinking that down to to you know something
just much smaller it's it's crazy i had no idea the uk was that small yeah yeah it's the thing
that made me realize it is like so if you look at the population of the uk i think it's about
60 million it's probably more now um but if you look at the size of the uk i think it's about 60 million it's probably more now um
but if you look at the size of it compared to like australia as a continent right like an actual
like full-on continent and there's half as many people in australia as there are in the uk and
the uk had fit into west australia like 42 times and that's just like one state. There's six more states. It's so crazy
That's why it's just wild
Pads, should we move to the UK?
Do you like it over there?
It's alright. I wouldn't move here. I hear that a lot. Papa thinks that Europe is
better than the United States so we talk about this all the time.
It's I think this it can go both ways right so there's like there's probably some bits of
europe that are better than some bits of the us and then vice versa like probably a lot more i
don't know um the other way but i think the i don't know i think the best places in europe like
i don't know about anyone else but like prague and stuff i really want to go to like um i've heard that like switzerland looks amazing like places like that but they're not
they're a bit off the beaten path i think most of europe is kind of like
i'll put it this way like if you went to london and paris and
munich like you probably wouldn't notice a difference.
Like it's just, it's the same kind of place.
Yeah, my middle son actually just came back.
I guess he didn't go to London, did he, babe?
But he said that he, he said he'll never go back to Paris.
He's like been there, done that.
They even cut their trip short because he said it was so overrated so overrated he's like it was so dirty and just so gross and um but it's interesting because
he loved italy where he was so i guess he didn't go to london i've heard good things about italy
i used to live with a lot of italian people and like they're awesome people i think like so italy's
on my list um but yeah i get that i've heard that about paris like a lot i mean i don't know like
everyone's had a girlfriend that's like i'll take me to paris i'm like i'd rather fucking take you
to talk to you know what i mean like let's get the caravan out.
Let's change up that basic bitch shit.
All right, let's go somewhere else.
We don't need to go to Paris.
Yeah, just like he went to New York City and he said he'll never do that again either.
He's like, I'm glad that I went,
but New York is definitely not for me.
And he actually equated New York to Paris.
He said it had very similar vibe.
Well, that's what I mean.
It's because everywhere is going like, you know, globalist and stuff now.
It's like the same place whenever you go to a big city.
I think the best place usually in like the country is the kind of like
I like, like I hate cities
kind of how people are like doing
stuff you know what I mean when no one's
looking like I don't know
yeah I think that makes sense
I was going to add as well
I don't know if it's a sense
you pants but the other thing
about France and Paris is if you're British,
historically, it's just drilled into us that we don't like them.
See, babe, I'm British deep down.
I would much rather go visit, I don't know,
some nature or whatever rather than a city.
Sure, there's some cool things like, oh, there might be some cool museums to go see or some cool mountains and lakes and ocean and things like that,
rather than a bunch of people.
I feel like it also comes with age, because when I was younger,
I wanted to live in the big city life and the fast moving and whatever.
But as I get older, I'm like, fuck this.
I don't like traffic i don't like people i don't like pollution um it makes me laugh whenever i see these people in la who go take their
significant other to go look at the sunset and i'm like what sunset bro it's all smog and they
pay like millions of dollars to be overlooking the city but they can't even see it because the
Like, that's not my get down.
Yeah, they step out on the balcony and they're coughing.
It's definitely, you know, I think, like,
same with England, Scotland, places like that.
You see the real best of the country when you're in the countryside
and in the rural communities rather than the cities.
Everyone's a lot friendlier as well.
The closer you are to a city and the more you walk around,
especially going from where I live up to here,
if someone said hello to you in a city,
you'd be like they're gonna
stab me or they're gonna like rob me or something but you go into like a rural
especially in scotland like it was really weird when i first moved up here because it is rural
in the highlands and it's like you know you just walk to the shop or something i've got like
10 20 people i don't even know saying good morning to me and asking how i
am and like it was really a big shock to start with and then you just get used to it yeah i need
to go to scotland highlands i need people to say what's up to me give a shit yeah it's really crazy
though like i'll just talk to you like you've been best friends for however long you don't even know it's nice though isn't it i know what you mean because i've just moved to a smaller town
um and like where i was before it was kind of like yeah the same if someone said hello to you
you'd think i fucked you wrong kind of thing um and then probably run away but like i care like
one one of the first days that i moved in like i was going for a walk
around i met this woman called carol and we're like best friends now um just it's crazy like
people do stop and talk to you and it takes you by surprise but then you think like it's a shame
really because that's what it would have been like like i don't know when our parents were
with this age like that would have been like the general attitude yeah absolutely like my parents and grandparents always told me like uh you know they never used
to lock the doors or do anything like that you know everyone knew each other yeah you know they
go to all the um like town hall events and like dancers cinema all that stuff um because a lot of the places i grew up and lived um the main place
i say nottingham but it was actually like outside of nottingham by like 25 30 minutes and it was
like an old mining uh village and yeah it's uh crazy to think what it would what it was like back then
tight knit communities and stuff that's the thing
I feel like it's something we've lost really
that's what I mean there's some really nice places
even just like 20 minutes
like when most people go to,
they're like, oh, I've been to England,
and you're like, you've not been to England then.
It's just completely different.
It's just, I'm not having a go.
It's a horrible place though.
It's like everyone just hates each other,
and you're like, well, it's no surprise because they's like everyone just hates each other. And you like it.
But it's no surprise because they're just tripping over each other all day
and running about to nine to five.
It's just too busy for me, that.
I avoid London at all costs.
And, you know, I think how you said it is a good example.
It just doesn't represent England or the UK as as a whole it's everyone that's so rude
it's ridiculous in comparison it's a big airport is what it is
yeah just an airport with streets i think yeah and then just tourist trap
I'm trying to think what they have there
they have the Madame Tussauds
they have the Harry Potter thing
I can't think what else I've got
I'm sure they've got stuff going on
they've got that big clock
oh yeah Big Ben Oh yeah, Big Ben
Just in case you can't be bothered looking at your watch
I don't actually think it's that impressive
When I saw it, to be honest
It wasn't any bigger than I imagined it was
Like seeing it on the news or whatever
That's fucking awesome but it's funny you
guys are talking like this because like my son's girlfriend the first time she came here she came
from denmark um and first of all she's never really been traveling and oh to go to the u.s
blah blah she wants to go to walmart and taco bell we're like, what the fuck? Why the hell do you want to go there?
And she says the shopping, everything's bigger. But then her family came here, her parents,
for a trip too. And they were like, you know, we haven't experienced like the road rage that we hear about and like all of these horrible things. And I'm like, oh, that's because I wasn't
driving, bro. But it's's just really you get so many um
what is that stigmas is that what you call it where you think that it's gonna be something
it's just totally not that it's cracked up to me I'll tell you the one thing I think would really
annoy me I mean obviously I've been to America before but I was like 12 I went to Texas Houston
but I think if I was to go now the one thing that really pissed
me off is the way you guys do your prices in the stores where it's like you have a price but then
you have to add the tax onto it oh because in the uk you don't like whatever the price is it includes
the tax in the price so if you see something and it says you know oh this is 4.99 it's 4.99
you know you'll go to the till they'll scan it they'll go
that's $4.99 yeah yeah that happened in America and depending on where you live the taxes are
different and depending on where you live in the state it's different so our taxes here are
different than they would be say in uh Seattle area oh I mean from town to town and then of course the way that the towns are
like how they if you're on the border you may like across the street you might be charged a
different tax rate from from it's fucked so do you have to work it out manually how do you do
like a tax return just to just guess oh no they they collect it oh they collect it don't worry yeah but the um like for example if they
say five dollars on like the price sticker or on the shelf and you get up to the register and
they're like okay that's uh that's five seven yeah yeah that's just kind of you just have to know okay well it's going to be more than what
what they say so actually that's pretty fucking funny if you think about it americans should be
math magicians they should all know what the fuck they're talking about and people don't know
anything about money in america what the hell you know they should come on, babe. What happened? I'm telling you, I think I would, there's one thing that I, I, I completely agree with
the rest of the world on is the price should be marked and it should include the tax.
And we also tipping here is a big thing too.
I mean, earlier just to get groceries and they sneak it in there.
You have to go back and look and they'll put an automatic 10, 15, 20, 25% on there.
And if you don't see it too bad, so sad, you already accepted that button.
So, and that shit adds up.
You know, when you're spending 240 bucks on groceries, they added 2%.
You're adding another 25 bucks on that.
They expect a tip when you go grocery shopping.
Well, it's for, like, delivery.
Yeah, but even, even I've had people help me out to the, out to the car before.
I used to work at a grocery store.
Bro, you were at the wrong grocery store store We weren't even allowed to take tips
Yeah you gotta slip him a 5 or a 10 back then
Papa would die he would never
And everywhere you go At the cash register like you know even if you go to like chipotle or
or barista uh that's that's the worst when when they're like asking for for a tip what can i get
for you today papa oh you'd like a cold brew okay and then they go get it for you, bring it back,
and they say, would you like to add a tip on this today?
And that's the reason why I don't like going to that one stand,
because you have to hand them the card to run the card.
Well, babe, when you're there looking at their boobs and their butt
because they're wearing thongs, I mean, you have to expect that from them.
That's a different one can't hate the hustle at the end of the day this is a uh
free free commerce whatever the word is I'm looking for capitalist environment
do you guys do you guys have bikini baristas where you are moon
Do you guys have bikini baristas where you are, Moon?
We have more so, like, bottle girls.
Oh, no, we got full bikini baristas, Drew.
I'm talking pasties over the nipples, if that.
Maybe a pasty over the front, and that's right next to the high school.
I mean, there's places you can go to find that vibe, but, like of the girls I know making like serious money are doing the bottle girl.
Like they're like selling and it's like a lot more easy on them to just sell the sections and just kind of service the people that they kind of develop clientele with.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, no, we just, Papa said he'd never seen it in Denver, in Colorado, but we have so
many bikini braces here. I mean, yeah, I'm trying to think like this place, uh, Vice, Vice,
yeah, Vice Park would probably have like some, yeah, they usually probably this time of the season,
especially they'll have that going on for sure i don't know i'm not tipping the bikini
baristas like but like i kind of resent giving it to delivery people when it's like exactly i know
you just went there for a show and a coffee you know you need to at least tip them right papa
i mean these girls are going into war
without a proper coat, without layers or anything.
Especially if I was to see a bikini barista in Britain,
I feel like I'd probably tip her like 50%.
Yeah, I mean, she's out there on the front lines
and she's actually cold and you can tell pads.
Yeah, I mean, I'm rightfully so.
maybe she just needs to earn enough to buy a coat.
You just called a bikini barista a sweetheart?
No, we actually had a, I think she was 18, maybe, working at one of the local.
And she fucking paid off her whole Tesla.
I'm like, yep, she got that hustle, bro.
Papa's like, damn, what do I sign up to be a bikini barista?
I know about them because my brother dates a majority.
If they're not strippers, they're bikini baristas.
So we don't really have bottle service here.
Is there kind of like a rivalry with Hooters?
Is there a rivalry with Hooters?
Because they're focused on coffee and Hooters are more like fast foods.
Do they kind of get along?
Or is there like a faction difference there?
Yeah, so usually like the big corporations, they just have kind of their own area.
And then the bikini baristas are usually, it just looks like a kind of like a shed there's no like
bathroom they just have like their coffee whatever else and then um there's one it's called ladybug
I believe and that one is like very distinct you would only go one time and figure out what it is
but that one's like red and it has like black polka dots and then all the windows are blacked
out so you can't see until you get up there but then like the one I guess that is over by the high
school high schoolers go over there and get like energy drinks and then they just get to go check
out the girls so um and usually it has you know like a long window but um I don't know that there's
ever like a rival because it's either like a mom and
pops kind of drive through.
We have a lot of drive throughs here because of the rain and then the drive
through bikini baristas and then like Starbucks and Dutch bros.
the USA has just gone up on my list.
I'm just in it for the energy drinks.
They got extra pumps and different flavors.
the whole, like, bikini barista line
and, like, apply it to a different thing.
Like, what if it was, like, I don't know,
No, I told you we're going to open up a van
It's going to serve tacos.
A drive-through taco place.
And the girls will be damn near naked.
And you can have sexual innuendos, and that's what sells.
But, yeah, it's huge here in Washington to have, like, food trucks and trucks and like food sheds.
Oh, mama has to reconnect.
So we'll see if we lose the space.
Oh, no, no, no, no. Nope Nope I made it
I don't know what the hell is wrong with this thing
I've lost connection in spaces all day though
I think they're really working on a big update
Well you did hear about that
I mean there was definitely an attack
And I know that one of their facilities was actually burned down.
Did you hear that, Mimari?
Like, it exploded or something.
And then I was thinking, oh, I wonder if it's being attacked again,
because I did see the other day I was reading an article I can't remember the exact name of the group they reckon it is but
this one website it only lasted like literally a couple of seconds so I didn't take it down
they think it's more of like a thing where they flex how much power they've got um it had a
massive DDoS attack it was like the
biggest ever in history like they reckon it would be able to take anything down like permanently
um and they reckon they only i can't remember what website it was they did attack um but basically
from the article i was reading they did that and it lasted a few seconds and they do that to basically show off
what it could be capable of
yeah totally it's kind of like
what do they call themselves like the white
what is that called babe where the people go in
and then they show you they take
all your shit and then they'll give it
you're talking about white hat, white hat hackers.
It's like, it's like, Hey, your company has a lot of really, you know, security, bad security issues.
So let me go in here and take everything.
And then I'll come back and I'll tell you that I just took all of that from you.
And then you're like, holy shit. And then you're like, so do you want to hire me? And then I'll give back and I'll tell you that I just took all of that from you. And then you're like, holy shit.
And then you're like, so do you want to hire me?
And then I'll give it all back to you.
I don't know if you've seen it as well.
The UK has had a lot of problems with hackers.
I think they called it a group called Scat and Spider.
But like M&S, all their online style.
I think the co-op which is another uh grocery store
got hacked yeah things like that yeah we're gonna see a lot of this shit memer did you see coinbase
was hacked while you were gone i didn't actually yeah that's interesting but yeah i think hacking
is gonna get scarier especially with with the AI we've got.
And then the way computers are now as well.
Like you've got NVIDIA releasing like essentially a supercomputer you can have at home.
And then just the array of smart devices we've got.
Because I know that helps them with the DDoSs because it's so easy to hack like a lot of these devices so and because i connected to the internet they can basically
hack them without anyone knowing and then just use the combined power to ddos and all that stuff
and i love that word ddos i know it's bad but i love the words ddos incognito what are my other
ones i like yeah i have some words i left espage. Espionage is one of the coolest words ever.
Oh, dossier is the coolest fucking word.
Shit, Moon, what's up, Moon?
I don't know about the Coinbase situation,
but the Cetus type of hacks where they blame,
it's these protocols, they blame smart contract errors.
70% of those type of hacks are due to negligence from somebody on the team.
negligence from somebody on the team this kind of tells me that that's like
they do that on purpose that way they can later go in and exploit said hack or
no said not said hack said uh said um vulnerability in the smart contract to for their own personal gain right so somebody on the
team my theory personal theory is that somebody on the Cetus team had something to do maybe with the hack or with the smart contract error.
And right, so then they went and exploited that
and then drained the money to their own wallets or whatever they did,
the $60 million that's unaccounted for the ethereum
yeah and then they're trying to work a deal with them right is that what you told us yesterday man
no no no i don't know that would be like a likely thing right i don't know uh but apparently the
cetus team put out a later post on i think it was yesterday and they were talking about uh
there's going to be an upgrade in this in the in the code or something
some shit like that that allows them to just fucking drain it but that's like it just doesn't
make sense to me thinking like it's something it would be it would be like some sort of new
technology uh to me for for for that to make sense right so like the only thing that made sense to me would be like they say this shit they fundraise then they could deal with them restore liquidity pools
keep you know take it as a whatever loss it is move on business as usual that's what i would do
if i was cedis you know if i was suey i'dey I stopped fucking cosigning everything but I get it see
this was top see this is a top for like top liquidity private on suey but the only reason
why I mean not the only reason why the technology is like sound and what it does but the only reason I guess why it gets the edge
over these other liquidity providers would be the fact that it was like the
first one to get co-signed by Danny and and in the founders right and then they
got elevated and they took like good good businessmen, they took advantage of the opportunity.
And I don't mean like in like a deceiving way, right?
When I say take advantage, they just saw the opportunity and didn't let it slip, right?
And then, boom, they were doing well, and then this hack happens.
And I'm just basing this theory off of a conversation that I had with Grok.
So that's the only thing.
That's how I came to this.
or Grok surpassed Google?
better than Google at this point.
Oh, surpassed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That makes sense to me. that it's over it's working better than Google at this point already
and I think chat GPT open AI
$20 a month or whatever it is
they should fucking give me
affiliate link or something
yeah you should I agree with you I should get an affiliate link or something, dude. Yeah, you should.
I think it's, I think ChatGPT does better, at least for me, than Grok does.
I have to agree with you.
Grok had the edge until the latest model, Ghibli, that model that Ghibli came out with,
whatever that model was and now what you're gonna see happen is Elon and
his team of it's it's funny I think that they're like really they're like
they freakin take it they copy paste it and they make it a little bit better
every time like every time they just tweak it they just tweak it in my
pants up you'll see like super grok or whatever the next one is be crazy probably it'll be more efficient than open ai and open ai i mean look
they probably do the same shit dude you know it's all i mean it's all out here you just
that's the thing that's the that's the game with uh with ai development but like you'll never be able to you'll never be able to beat the uh
i mean i don't know i guess i don't want to discourage any creators anybody making like
i would try to develop if you're if you if you develop ai agents i would try to develop
ai agent and then just sell it to open ai to make the most like if you're talking about making the
most money like sell to open ai or sell to elon whatever right like you can try to go make your own business
fucking do all this other shit that's cool but like if you're talking about just making money
and less hassle freaking i don't know how that necessarily looks so i'm kind of ignorantly talking but develop the code put it
together yada yada fucking sell that shit to to open ai or present said uh presentation to open ai
x nvidia whoever bro right and you start making them you start becoming the guy that develops these things and they'll start coming at you bidding you know on your developments and
each one after that is a little bit more valuable what's up pads
that was just a quick thing on that like i don't know if it's me
or just i don't know if i'm missing something, but like I've used GROC before.
I've never found anything that GROC can do that's better than like chat GPT.
Like I don't really get the hype of it.
When it comes to, I don't know,
like there's different platforms that are better for different things.
Like I use Cloud for coding, probably GPT for like prompting a lot of stuff,
I feel like GROk is kind of like
I don't know what it does really, but
I haven't seen anything that impresses
Grok. It'd be safe to assume
that it, you know, if you're talking
to stuff that, if you're talking about people on
X, right, you're safe to assume that it understands this atmosphere better than OpenAI would, right?
But I guess you could upload scripts, you know, I guess.
But you're going to get into specialty or whatever.
But if you're just talking about just talking to it, having a conversation,
and you're like, boom, what happened on Papa Bear's timeline? that's the one thing rock that's the one thing rock can get can
give you the head the head on because you know because the open asking to who
the hell is Papa Bear you know but where if you have Papa Bear meta you know it
knows what you're talking about it can read that that's okay that's that's it
yeah that's good look I get you know that's the only advantage
and then if you believe in the tiers of if you have like if you're like trying to get engaged
on the app right if you believe in having just a freaking the top the top check mark right or
whatever the hell that is i personally i subscribe to that theory it just kind of makes sense as a business person. I would definitely, I would definitely push the algorithm to people that are paying me more. I would definitely push the algorithm to people the grok comes with that top level right so then
you know there's layers to making it worth it I guess I keep paying for it even though I use
openai for everything else now at this point every now and then it's nice to have on the timeline
right just being able to click that button in the top right corner, but that, you know, other than that convenience, you know, it's like, it's like paying the
convenience tax at the gas station, you know, seven 11, whatever. Are you, are you a still
premium plus moon? I think, yeah, I never changed it. You know, whatever. Yeah. I just changed mine
actually today. So it'll be interesting to see how it moves.
But I got demonetized anyway.
And I'm just like, I'm not getting anything extra from it.
So I'm actually going to start doing another account.
I can just go monetize another account.
Because Papa's getting paid now.
Like, everybody's getting paid.
a fucking half of the effort i've put into this account it'll be fine that's funny bro i didn't
get paid nothing and uh bro i had like a couple tweets pop off like for some serious engagement
bro it's crazy like because i fucking had that one go for 100-something K, and then I had the other one go for 40K.
But the one that was for 100K, let's see, let's look at it.
The engagements was nudge.
It was 62,000 or 67,000 engagements on that one, right?
That's a pretty good ratio.
And then, like, I'm looking at the people watched. There was three three clips on that and it says people watched all the way to the end 36 percent
not bad right yeah that's really good actually i'm like what the fuck bro i didn't give me no
books but maybe you know whatever they gotta verify some shit it's my first paycheck that'll
become i don't know bro you know i don't you set up you set up your stripe and everything, yeah?
Yes, I verified that last week or whatever.
You'll probably get paid on the next payout, man.
That's my experience anyway.
Remember, babe, that happened with us?
Well, I'll far forget because of the tip, I guess.
I got a lot of engagement on those two posts by dropping a comment that was a poll right because you're obviously a top comment
on your posts and you drop a poll and get people to click on the poll easy so so when you did a
post you did a poll underneath as a comment is that what you mean yeah like for example on this one that did well i said is this a psyop or a real disagreement is what i did and that poll got like
a ton of votes right so like because i saw it running and then like 10 minutes later i was like
