Thank you. Who's present?
Somebody's on mute trying to grab a deviled egg.
And welcome to Presley Present.
With partially present top of the arrow arm, I'm present.
Somebody's partially present.
Should I play a song while you're waiting so you can, like, you know,
finish chewing and then swallowing and then getting your drinks now?
Either that or I think maybe today
We learned about Abassinate
Abacus I think is the next word
I knew that would get you off
Yay How's it going? Stop it. I'm here to save you.
Oh, I was just eating a deviled egg.
Deviled eggs are good, dude.
They weren't my favorite ones, but they're still good.
Well, it was kind of you to make them.
No credits looks different, bro.
I almost didn't recognize them.
Wait, where's no credits?
No credits changes his clothes a lot.
because that was a pretty large purchase, but all with good intent.
No, that's a good vibes club.
You got a good vibes club?
What's a good vibes club?
What's a good vibes club?
Good vibes minted earlier this year and did very well. And they're one of the leading NFT collections at the moment and have their own strategy token.
And, yeah, they're just legit with a whole lot of energy.
So I thought that would be good to join in and, you know, leech off.
I like it when you show me new people, dude.
You showed me the noise and now you showed me good vibes club um babe how much are these how much are they he's like the thing
the floor is 0.4 at the moment oh but that one that one was closer to 0.5 because it was a good
looking one i was gonna say i think it's probably, you're looking at, like, what, like, $1,200, $1,500, maybe?
Yeah, I think that was, like, $1,350 or something.
Man, those are really cool.
He's got a glass hoodie and rainbow.
But I've got some friends who are in the GVC from, you know,
previous collections, Futureverse, you know, rugs and all that kind of stuff.
So it's nice to reconnect with them and get back into the conversation.
Well, I had to celebrate, you see, because I got this prize.
I heard you got the prize.
I heard that you are actually the winner, winner, chicken dinner.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
Are you still out camping?
I'm staying with my mother-in-law at the moment for another few days,
Not quite out in the wild.
Every Christmas there seems to be this kind of amazing,
fun little project that has this great treasure hunt,
and my wife's looking at me again sideways like,
And I'm like, I'm looking for a present it went missing
someone stole it off their porch and i'm trying to help them exactly what are you doing it's
christmas we're just trying to be helpful right and i was like i know it can be done
i'm not putting this down oh man well you're very impressive, I have to say. I was super excited that you got it.
I was hoping somebody that we love got it.
So, anybody who doesn't know, no credits got the present.
I'm going to go find it off of your account.
Put it up in the Jumbotron for people to see it.
So, he had actually changed his picture to it.
Where did you? Did you post about about it or how did this work i'm pretty sure i did i might have just posted that picture when i changed to the to the
present for yeah for christmas and boxing day awesome what a perfect thing too so how was your
christmas did you have a nice christmas beautiful christmas incredibly good
weather um nice and hot um kids were you know it really enjoyed it had a great day everything
worked out really well it was lovely family time and yeah it was it was brilliant it was really
cool it was just like i would go out and i would baste the ham that I was cooking on the barbecue with like a,
mustard and honey and sort of glaze that I'd made up.
it was coming along nicely,
a good sort of three hours worth of basting a ham in a,
And then I'd leave it for 10 minutes and then I'd go back and do it again and
in between I would sit down on my laptop and try and figure out how many red letters are there in
this ransom note how many blue letters what are the background colors mean is there some kind of
morse code going on like I was fully deep and trying to figure out what was going on. That's cool. Yeah, it's funny because
Papa didn't tell me anything because like I said, I feel bad and I'll tell people whatever they want
to know. If you're nice enough to me, I'm just like, okay, let me tell you. So I didn't, he didn't
tell me all of this. He just said, I left lots of things. And I go, no, you didn't. You didn't
leave any clues. But clearly he had enough to where you got it. So did you pick anything up from the ransom note? That was one of my questions.
There was lots of stuff that was going on. I was trying to read into all sorts of things.
Like there were periods in the middle of sentences. And I was like, okay, so how many
words before each period? What's the pattern that that gives?
Like there was all sorts of stuff going on.
So you like that kind of stuff?
I've taken part in, in fact, I've built an entire 10-step treasure hunt
that each step is like one of these pu bear um challenges that is so cool i feel like
that's a different kind of thinker i don't get i haven't released it yet i haven't because we
wanted to do it as kind of like a anyway we wanted to do it in conjunction with futureverse and
the launch of our um project and all that kind of stuff and so that's fallen away now but i did build it and each one
was like a different kind of cryptography or you know steganography or whatever like all all kinds
of different puzzles and and ways of thinking and hiding things in plain sight and all that
kind of thing so i did really enjoy Papa's one. I didn't get
the hint that he posted, but you see, I had a question for you guys. Did you not have another
account? Because I went looking for that other account and I couldn't find it. And I thought
that was the account that was going to be posting hints or. Yeah. So we had an account and I was
very transparent about this. I don't know if you remember, I had an account and i was very transparent about this i don't know if you remember i had an account
called be present and then i changed the name to presently present on x and that was our
account for the project and it was actually mass reported and suspended which was very sad to me
yeah so not only have hunting for it,
I used to follow it and wear it.
I've appealed it twice now.
that actually we've had a lot of interesting things happen.
We've had our website has been reported as phishing.
But no, so I didn't link it back.
And I wish I had because that would have made things a lot easier.
But, yeah, I kind of went down the rabbit hole of all sorts of hidden meanings
and what could be what and, like, listening back down the rabbit hole of all sorts of hidden meanings and what could be what.
And like listening back to the spaces to see.
So that was the other thing I was doing while I was basting is listening to spaces from like six weeks ago, trying to figure out what that like with their hints given within hints.
Like, how did you deliver these words?
Were they like, oh, my goodness, like it just went on and on.
I think it's really cool because I don't
actually um I have a very difficult time thinking like that and I don't know if it's like a learning
disability I don't know if it's just that I think differently but I don't um I can't think of little
things like that like I'm very observant but I'm not a puzzle person. And Papa loves it. Like that is, if he could play games all the time, he would.
And I also wonder if that's more of a male trait thing.
And some chicks are going to get pissed at me for saying that too.
But I just don't think like that.
So I don't know if that's, I don't know.
I guess I just don't know.
I have a friend who's autistic,
who is like a thousand times better at this than me.
And when I met him, he came to my front door because I was selling some Lego and I had
collected Star Wars Lego prior to COVID.
And then when COVID hit and we were stuck inside and I looked around and thought to
myself, why is it that I have nowhere to put my coffee down?
Oh, it's because there's Lego everywhere.
So then during COVID, um sprinkled boxes of
mixed up lego onto a treadmill and got my kids to sort them out into colors because that gave
them something to do for six weeks and then we sold a lot of the lego and when i listed this for
sale back in 2021 um this guy who was on the lego club in new New Zealand got in touch with me and said,
I want to come over and have a look.
And he shows up at the door and I opened the door and he says,
hi, I'm Kyle, I'm on the spectrum.
And I'm like, hello, Kyle, I'm also on lots of spectrums, but nice to meet you.
And so we kind of got off on a good footing and he was a great guy.
And he would look, he would pick up a piece of a body of one of the Lego men.
And it could be like the top or just the legs or even a hand.
And he would tell me what set that came from and what character it was a part of.
Like he's that kind of savant level Lego fan.
And it was just superb meeting him because he said, I could take this huge box of Lego figurines you've got
and I could build them using all the right parts
because I can look at each part and I can tell you which one it goes with.
I was like, okay, go for it.
So he came back like two weeks later and had sorted out like 300 Lego men.
So it was a fun meeting and I liked them straight away
and he then introduced me to Vivi and we bought some digital collectibles and then he introduced me to Futureverse.
And that's kind of how I got into Web3.
But he is also the world's best puzzle hunter, gunter, as you would say from Ready Player One.
Yeah, Papa has never been, quote, formally diagnosed.
Um, but we, we suspect that Papa's definitely, um, don't you say, babe, that you are autistic?
Uh, in some sort of flavor.
Yeah, some sort of flavor.
I don't think it's a, it's a light switch thing, right?
Like I think it's more like a gradient and we're all somewhere in this circle.
And depending on how close to the center you are, on which side of it, you get different versions of it.
But I think everyone has their quirks.
And then that applies to everything.
Like your sense of humor is also somewhere within this sphere,
three-dimensional sphere, and some people gravitate to that
So I think that's just how we're made up.
Man, I love the way he said that.
And it is funny because thinking about the whole when you're talking about
that i think people think of it like a either like an on off switch or like a even maybe even
like a a single sliding scale right but i think there's more to it than that because there's different aspects. And I think if you were to take each of those coordinates or each of those planes, I guess,
or whatever you want to call it, and okay, you're maybe in, say, I don't know, quantitative
analysis or audio sensory whatever know all the different things like there's different
areas that the people will like have higher or lower ranges or values or you know whatever's
kind of thing i think that's kind of how how it it works more like, you know. Yeah, absolutely.
And like people always say like you have a sense of humor.
Oh, this is my sense of humor or that's his sense of humor or their sense of humor.
And yet if I wake up in the morning grumpy, my sense of humor is in a different location to when it was last night after three whiskeys.
And my sense of humor around the boys might be different to my sense of humor around the boys might be
different to my sense of humor around the family or whatever and so you have
this kind of orbit that your sense of humor will take depending on so many
other things and and and that orbit like putting it into interstellar you could
actually be affected by your mood might affect your
sense of humor that might have a gravity and pull your sense of humor in a certain way. And then
alcohol might pull your sense of humor in a different way. So we actually have this perpetual
motion of sense of humor, but then that applies to everything. It applies to how intelligent you
might be today or how able to take on a challenge like a puzzle like yours. And that can be changed
by so many different things. And I think that's what's super interesting about people is that
we're not just a straight line with prickly bits. We're actually this ever morphing thing
exactly no credits man babe he just took it all the way around
to emotions and just feelings and how we need to normalize that god it's like he knew it's
like it was coded pats has his hand up though. What's good Pats?
Yeah mate well first of all like I hope everyone had a good day yesterday. I was just going to agree with no credits like that's exactly how I see it and um like just long story short like I
got diagnosed with it very recently um I'm like in my mid-30s so obviously it's yeah it's what it is it's not going to like
change me now or anything but like i'm very hesitant um the thing i don't like about it is
like i would never want to be it you know like have anything explained in terms of like oh this
is pads like you know this is sense of humor because he's got autism or he's good at
guitar because he's got autism or he does this like putting you in a box right pads yeah like
yeah like everyone has got enough things about the self to just be like an individual and just
be good at stuff because they're good at it because they've put in the years of practice
or whatever and it's kind of like i don't like that side of it of um yeah i don't know how to explain it really just kind of
explaining it away as oh it's because of this i i think that everyone is just on the spectrum
and if you imagine it as like a circle maybe most people are in the middle or whatever then
you've got like outliers dotted about here and there i like the um i don't know if anyone's played fallout 3 probably the most popular one
but like the fallout games on the pc are like rpgs so you put you get a certain amount of points at
the start and you can put them into your character so you can put like full speech but then you won't
be as good with guns or you can put like
you know three points into everything be a jack of all trades i feel i feel like that's how people
work um so there's always like a bit of a give and take but yeah like it is what it is i just
feel like they call it a spectrum so let's treat it as that and just say that everyone's on it
then it's not just some people um which i know that's what you were saying so that a spectrum is a cool word too
if you think about it because it's just like covers so much um i agree with you pads i think
we're all on some type of and i think that that is everyone's got like their own skill like yes exactly we all do have
our own superpower and that's what's dope is we can engage with each other and find what people
maybe we're a little bit more gravitated to and i think that we're also gravity we gravitate towards
different things at different points in our life. Do you know what I mean?
That's what I think anyway. I think that when maybe I had just had my children, I was gravitating
more towards, I don't know, early education, right? Or people that had had a different
experience in life. And I think that that's why they say that people come in our lives
for seasons um there's always a reason they come for seasons and some just stay longer
so I don't know I love that
I think that's a really nice saying it's kind of bittersweet as well
I thought it was something like um some people are here for a reason some people are here for a reason
some people are here for a season
I like the way I said it too
how many seasons are you going to be here with me babe
oh wait I forgot to ask you
how many Christmases have we been together
You've got the patience of a saint
you're totally right pads
I think about that all the time I think about
how strong papa has to be
to deal with me I'm alright with it pads
fuck it I'm alright with it
yeah and it's funny because people think
that I dominate in our relationship
Papa, Papa is the head. I'm the neck that makes this head turn which way I want. That's what women say.
Um, but yeah, I don't know. Papa, how are you doing today? My love? I haven't really talked to you today.
You haven't talked to me, babe. I was... I don't know. I went to...
You know, the subtle sense of... What's that called?
You know, kind of like just brings me back to my fourth grade teacher who said something sarcastically.
And I answered, I followed her literally.
And she's like, somebody doesn't know how to know what sarcasm is.
Well, first of all, bitch, no, children at that age don't understand sarcasm.
And second of all, what did she have you do, bro?
I'm about to go find this bitch.
Yeah, I don't remember what it was.
It was something about my desk.
Apparently, I don't know if it was,
I had too many papers or something in my desk
I just remember that being one of the
what was her name Miss Rodonovich
wow she's lucky she was called Miss Rodonovich
Because I would have made that name into something else.
That was actually what we called her, was Mr. Rodonovich.
See, you did need to be spaying to that age. Jesus.
My fourth graders are out. Oh, hell no.
You guys, nobody could pay me enough to be a teacher. Nobody.
Bro, the worst. The school kids now try and sell me crack when I'm on the way to work.
Who was trying to sell you crack pads?
Nah, I might be exaggerating a little bit, but they are trouble now.
I feel like kids are becoming adults a lot sooner now.
I know my nine-year-old granddaughter informed us that she doesn't want to do Barbies anymore or dolls or anything.
I'm like, well, what are you going to do?
I'm going to start a hedge fund or something.
She's like, I'm going to be an influencer.
I need a ring light and I need my own tablet and my own phone. And, uh, shit's wild,
bro. Shit's wild. Um, I don't know. Can we, um, can we get Papa to explain more of his hidden
secrets? Yes. Let's get back on track. Thank you. No credits. Yeah, no, thank you. Um, so of course the, the ransom note did indicated and can help confirm that, uh,
yeah, the, the 12, um, the 12 badges were your keys to the, the 12, um, 12 words in
12 words and a seed phrase, right?
And then, of course, the reference to them being in a wall.
They're not pretty little pictures that hang on a wall.
That was a nod to something that I had posted two weeks ago.
ago yeah i'm on the hunt to find that right now i see you guys can see it yeah there there was an
Yeah, I'm on the hunt to find that right now.
I see you guys can see it.
image of a christmas tree with the um the eight well eight of the twelve eight or seven of the
twelve badges on hanging on the wall like a clock yeah that was cute do you remember seeing that i
know but i can't seem to, oh, I found it.
Okay, I'm putting up on the top.
Yeah, so you guys can see.
So you guys can try to see what Papa's mad mind thinks of.
Yeah, so the seven badges down, five to go.
You'll never know when we might announce the next one.
Listen to the presently present spaces to catch the codes needed,
and then join our op.xyz community to claim the badges.
How many badges have you collected so far?
So if you guys see, it's like a, I don't know.
So, and it looks like, so we're those.
And I'm so gutted I never saw this.
Yeah, I could really, that would have made my life even easier.
So, yeah, I figured that was going to get you 12.
So, I mean, that would have gotten you 7 out of the 12.
And I was planning to continue to release some extra clues here.
here well no credits is too smart so too bad sir yeah i know right so to kind of help put the rest
Well, no credits is too smart, so too bad, sir.
into place or at least you go oh well you know the this one belongs here and so on and then
it would be a matter that would get you down to 12 different possibilities if you were able to get
them all in in a row so the image that you have up there, were those in the correct order?
They were in the correct order, minus, of course, the ones that were missing.
The key to figuring out which one the starting one would have been
would have been when we start, which is 4 p.m. Papa Standard Time.
If you notice, the badge.
The badge in the 4 o'clock hour was the first word in the seed phrase.
And then if you just went around.
So the badge 1, 2, 3, 4, the one that says 444?
Okay, so that's the 4 o'clock hour, which is 4 p.m. Papa Standard Time.
And that was the first word was 444?
And so, like, Mr. Credits, correct me if I'm wrong,
but the first word in the seed phrase that you cracked open was episode, right?
And then, of course, then the next one would have been the one that we would have put.
And then the third word would have been, I can't see what I had down there, but that one's the book club one.
Okay. And that was a bummer too because that one
didn't seem to get recorded.
went wrong with it where you couldn't watch the replay.
We'll have to, so Pup, are you planning
on doing more of this kind of stuff
Then throughout the project
Interesting things like that
Do you remember the puzzle
It doesn't I mean that doesn't mean other people wouldn't enjoy it.
I told you it's just, I suck at puzzles, dude.
I've never been able to do puzzles.
I will just throw them across the room.
Well, I was planning to get that kind of wrapped up and then that would kind of give people a chance similar to how
yeah how much you pay for that
what's up Pat? oh yeah I was gonna say I feel better Awesome. Pats is his hand up, babe.
I was going to say, I feel better now, man,
because I did not see any of these clues.
Like, I got as far as finding the actual present.
I made an offer on it on Magic Eden. And I was like, I remember there was a time where I was like,
I'm going out in 45 minutes.
If I don't get this now, no credits is going to get it without a doubt.
And that is what's happened.
So I rest easy because I didn't see any of these clues.
I literally just saw the present.
Well, the crazy thing, Peds, is that when you don't see a clue like the clock on the wall kind of thing.
I feel like these clues would have confused me more.
Had I seen this, I probably would have started at 12 and it would have taken me a lot longer but i would
have figured something out but i was got it getting to the point where i was looking at each badge
i remember at some point papa bear had said something like i'm having so much fun making
these badges and putting things into the background and i'm like yeah okay so
maybe there's stuff in the back so i would like this one has 11 presents so this must be the 11th
word and i like i was going down all sorts of rabbit holes i feel like you can go deep into it
but like i'm glad that i've listened to this because I feel like I've got a window into kind of like what Papa Bear is about now.
Yeah, how his brain works.
That's what I was thinking too.
Well, another window I had was remember when it was the Thanksgiving space and the badge that was claimed that day, the code for it was turkey.
badge that was claimed that day the the code for it was turkey and mama bear gave papa bear so much
jip for using such an easy word and no credits is gonna guess it and blah blah blah and yet way
back then that was already a bip 39 word to get into a seed phrase for a wallet like yo
oh yeah i i had a It's like Christopher Nolan.
Yeah, I was totally trying to, like the entire time,
I knew from the very beginning that this was what I was going to do
And I was trying to figure out what kind of badge titles can we have
that kind of go along with some of these words what words could we use and then and then on the
last one okay she totally threw me for a little curveball i'm glad it still worked and i'm glad
that i i had a little bit of um room wiggle room with the five different ones.
Because technically, just because you have 12 words,
that doesn't necessarily make a valid seed phrase.
Because there's a checksum.
So not all 12 word combinations actually work.
How did I throw you through a loop, bro?
I don't know what you're talking about. so the 12th one i originally had the word final oh and we played
the final countdown there's the opening song uh to open this space and you're like don't tell me
that the uh the badge code today is final you know i like, fuck, I guess we've got to change it now.
See, you guys, I mess with this dude not even trying.
So, yeah, that's what happened.
So let's talk numbers, Papa Bear.
For those who don't know, how many combinations can you get
and each word can only be used once?
factorial, which I think is like
or something like that. 479
I was going to say like 10, and then and then mama bear goes no
well that's that was the funny part because i was like okay okay i gotta find what what's one
another word um what's another um seed phrase word that I can look?
Because I was like, is last?
No, that didn't, you know.
But yeah, there are a few others that I, that we were actually,
one of the things I had thought about was if we ended up doing, giving away a badge in your space, I would have actually said it was dinosaur.
Because that's a valid word.
I love this badge thing, though.
I think we might need to do more badges.
I agree. It was so fun. And seriously, thank you thank you no credits because you're the one who showed us this
yeah i think i think not only was it well done but it was well thought out well planned well
executed well hidden um and just so much fun like to actually be part of it from the beginning was great.
I was just going to say, I think no credits and only one other person, right?
How many people have all 12 badges?
So aside from you and me, I think it's no credits.
Some other person we don't even know.
Did Gary not get the more? He didn't.
We were helping each other out.
When I was asleep or when I was busy and Gary was there or when Gary was busy and I was there, I was like, okay, today's word is tree.
But I obviously forgot to tell you one, Gary.
We'll get you that last badge.
So we were actually talking about that.
Babe, did you want to talk about that, the badges?
So we figured that if there were people who wanted to actually get more badges, I already took the snapshot. So to be fair to the people who actually did the work and was very diligent, the stuff that we're going to be using the badges for you know as far as to for
for the kind in within the kind cubs um it's so weird that we get to say that word now
i feel like i'm like are you allowed to say that word you made me sign an nda saying i wouldn't say
You made me sign an NDA saying I wouldn't say kind cuffs.
I know Pat's just got his hand up, but what you could do, Papa Bear,
is create an allow list claim badge for the people who did get all 12,
put their wallet addresses on the allow list.
Then we could claim the badge that was like, I got all 12.
And then you could use that badge as the entry to whatever experiences
you wanted to do from then on.
I don't see your hand, honey.
Just come off mute anytime.
Well, a couple of quick notes.
I was just going to say no credits by my calculations might be the first human being ever to be paid for eating tin tams and i just wanted to put that out there but um yeah like
well tell me more about this project though like what's kind comes about like can you say a lot
heck yeah we can we don't have a lot of people in here and the kind cups account it looks like
papa did create and it's in here with us today. So make sure that you guys go follow the Kind Cubs account.
That is the official one.
It has a blue checkmark, it looks like.
Baby paid for the account, I assume.
I don't have to pay for it.
And if it's not in my name, then maybe somebody won't fucking mass report it.
By the way, I'm not rude.
I don't know why people are pissed at me
i just want to put that out there i didn't do shit to you full
who's an audio i don't know people just don't like me i think
mate so i know how that feels month that's really i just i'm like i didn't papa's like
what did you do babe i'm like i didn't shit. Okay, so the Kind Cubs is down there.
Babe, tell Pats about it.
So, you know, on our present web.
I just wanted to say that I went to the Kind Cubs, and it actually has a website, too.
I literally just got the website populated like 20 minutes ago.
And you're going to be working on that, right?
It was just funny because I put the β yeah,
and the fact that we actually were able to get kindcubs.com,
the one we figured β because we were coming up with a name.
And just so you guys know, like, we it it was inspired by um you know a few of our
founding people um we kind of started a little thing speaking of which where is your mama's gone
aj's not here babs is not here toast so literally none of our founding people are here today. Yeah. So we basically started a little thing a while back,
a little group chat to kind of help people and just talk, right?
Oh, wait, babe, you got to back up first.
You got to tell them about the cabal.
Because that's how we came up with all of this, remember?
Yeah. So if you want to back up even more, there's a running joke about the Mama Bear Cabal.
I was going up on one of the big stages once.
And, you know, I'm not very vocal.
I don't go up on stages a lot unless I have something to say, right?
And they were doing some sort of thing.
I hopped up on the, like, Papa Bear.
Are you part of the Mama Bear cabal?
And, of course, technically my answer was to bark because that was um literally to bark you could
yeah literally to bark actually but um we we we weren't allowed to to speak we only could bark
like a dog and they're they're doing a little challenge there um so they're like oh you're
you're part of the mama bear cabal and you know it was funny because
really I didn't realize there was a mama bear cabal um and it just became a running joke right
well then we created a start um sort of a group chat because we were like trying to give away
some stuff to people like trying to figure out who who's in need of of of things like a blue check
i think at one point we're trying to who who deserves a blue check or who needs like some
groceries yeah we were just kind of like i don't know we just kind of created this group
and it's called the kindness cabal yeah that was the the name of the chat and so we're
like oh what about like kindness cubs?
And then we're like, how about make it a little shorter?
And then that just like, whoa, hey, that was great.
So that's where the name came from.
Because even Joe Mama, he's had lots of different PFPs.
And one of his pups, he actually put MBC on the tie.
And that's for Mama Bear Cabal.
So if you guys ever see that, that's what that.
And we did not start that.
It was just something that was given.
People were making fun of us.
But it turned out to be kind of a funny thing. so okay now you can tell them about kind cubs all right so
kind cubs you know when when mama and i were talking about well let's let's do a project but
instead of just being one of those you you know, extractive or not out to just, you know, Hey, just, just
Let's actually have a real mission and, and a real business that we're wanting to actually
And then we can incorporate some web three aspects to it and, and have something on the blockchain and kind of, you know, go
that route rather than just, Oh, here's some, here's some JPEGs, you know, you kind of do
We actually want something real and we want to actually make a real difference.
And we want to actually make a real difference.
So one of the things with the kind cubs is that we're planning to develop tools to help children.
And like with recognizing emotions, handling, what else would you say?
Yeah, like, so recognizing emotions and then teaching tools to help children and adults, really, but it's mainly children, on how they can regulate those emotions.
Kind of like things that we've learned along the way.
You know, we've always been huge advocates for mental wellness and
we've always thought, you know, Hey, we need to start early. Right. Because when we learned
this, especially when, when our grandkids were living here with us anxiety levels and, and just managing, helping, helping regulate,
manage their, their emotions and learning how to deal with them really.
Um, if you can get in on that early then and kind of get a good foundation, they'll be better off.
Yeah. Well, because it's crazy because me as an adult, I feel like I've only been learning
the last few years that my emotions are okay. Because we do, just like pads and no credits
we're talking about earlier, there's a spectrum and we have good days and bad moments and then
sideways days and then we're chopping. And then the next thing, you know, you're sad and there's a spectrum and we have good days and bad moments and then sideways days and then
we're chopping. And then the next thing, you know, you're, you know, you're sad and there's grief.
And like, we go through so many emotions as humans. And I think by recognizing those emotions,
and then the ultimate would be to know when there's an emotion coming on and then being
able to regulate yourself before you let that emotion get out of control.
And then you react upon it.
And so we figured that, hey, this would be a way to, especially when we thought, like, okay, what would the artwork look like
and what kind of focus would we have there?
Because a lot of projects out there,
they're your typical, oh, gosh,
I don't know how to explain. explain well we knew we wanted to be bears
yeah and we love the bearish by the way we still love bearish um but papa and i are like
it's funny because we support so many different projects but no matter what if i put on a different
outfit i always feel comfortable more comfortable in a bear outfit because of my name, you know? So we knew we wanted something with bears.
And we know we wanted the mindful wellness.
And I know that's a little bit different than a lot of people are doing in Web3.
But we really want this to be a real world, right?
Like an implementation, like a business.
like a business yeah exactly and and something we can work on and progress over time not just this
hype it's not going to be a hype project you guys should know that if you know us that's not that's
not what it is you know we just want to be able to have it centered about mindful wellness and
specifically helping with children um you know, how to, how the,
how there's connections and presence in our daily lives. And again, the tools, because we're in a
digital age now. So I don't, have you guys ever seen, oh, I probably shouldn't say that. No,
I'm going to say it. Have you guys ever seen a picture on the wall, whether it's like a pediatrician's office or a book where you see all different emotions and they tell you to point at that?
Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
It's like, are you angry?
Are you angry? Are you sad? Are you anxious? Well, I think that that's our goal is to be able to have visuals that match different types of emotions. Does that make sense? Yeah.
So not only just then using the artwork for, you know, whether it be children's books or even maybe we can even get it in like on an app on the kids' Kindle type things, right?
Where they can kind of, okay, it's time to practice your breathing or something like that, right?
Or helping them with with whatever but
um one of the things that we had also thought about is instead of running it the from the nft
project side instead of it being your typical all right we're just going to generate 14, you know, 44 or whatever like that.
We're going to give you the option and the ability to make your own bears, basically.
So that's... So they'll be able to create their own kind cubs.
Did you have your hand up?
Oh, Pads has his hand up? No, Pads was first.
Oh, Pads has his hand up. Sorry, Pads.
You can go first if you want, mate.
I was just going to, again,
Something you'd like, Motherbird,
talking about what you just said with the digital stuff.
I bought my niece one of her
presents. I got her a furby
and one of the modes that i'm not sure if you've seen them now like i had one back in the day i was
just gonna say that i have not seen the new ones oh mate the new ones are mad like they've got modes
you can tell it to like give you a light show they like light up in different ways and then it dances
it can like copy you like sing a song or whatever but one of the modes on it is
like a chill out mode and it's like a meditation basically like that so i thought you might like
that that's brilliant i feel like that's the i love seeing that with kids stuff um just because
i think it is important and stuff but yeah obviously like i just wanted to say very quickly
love the idea behind the project.
Anything with, you know, helping children or.
Yeah, my heart just melts, so I will be here for the full way.
And you know what's funny?
I think that the further we get into the digital world and the digital age and the AI.
Me personally, I had a dream a long, long time ago, and I won't go too far into this,
but I had a dream a long, long time ago that my granddaughter was sitting with us and she
said, why did you guys ever allow us?
Why did you guys ever put our images online?
And she's like, I'm so mad at my mom and dad.
I can't believe they ever put our images online and our voices. And why would you guys even think about doing that? And I didn't understand what she meant.
And she was so concerned about her privacy. I can't remember everything in the movie,
in my dream in the movie. But essentially, I think the more that we move forward in this
digital age and with everything that's going, I think that there's going to be a generation that wants their privacy and their to be coveted so much that they're
actually going to like work really, really hard on being more mindful and being more present.
That's where I see. Yeah. I don't think we can be blamed for that because like I remember Facebook had come out and my first
child had been born but um you know we hadn't really gotten straight into Facebook we'd heard
of this thing and we started using it and we're like yeah maybe we should set up an account for
him and we could just use it as a place to put photos of him when my daughter was born a couple
years later um we were kind of like within the
first couple of weeks i think we decided yeah we'll set up an account for her as well and just
start because i was a photographer and obviously with babies you take lots of photos and so we were
just thinking we'd just have a place to put all these photos that they we could hand them their
account when they were old enough and they'd have all these photos. And then when my third child was born, I was literally probably about 20 minutes after he
was born. I was out of the room because, you know, mum needs some help and the nurses are there and
blah, blah, blah. And so I was out in the waiting room creating a Facebook account for my third
child. Like it got to a point where it was just like the thing that you did. At that time, last one was born 2011. There wasn't really any issue around,
you know, privacy online, et cetera. It just wasn't a thing. Like it hadn't crossed anyone's
mind. Obviously now that we've given scumbags 14 more years to play, they've got to a point where
they will watch your facebook
account figure out where you live see how many children you have find out what their names are
find out what their friends names are like it's obvious that you have to protect your kids whereas
back then it wasn't really a thing and to be honest we just gave the kids photo books for
christmas this year that we made and half of the photos were actually photos from Facebook that I put up when they were, you know, very little. And we were able to just download
them straight off Facebook and print them. And they come out really well, surprisingly for the
low quality. And so they, true to form, they actually have a repository of photos, but we've
had to, you know, hide all their accounts and make sure that their only friends and family can access them and all that kind of stuff.
But it's just one of those things where the landscape has changed over time and the dangers
have become more apparent and, you know, you'd be foolish to not do it now, but I don't
think you can be held accountable for what you did before.
And I was just going to say no credit.
It's just like, it's funny. But going back to the fact that Babs always says, your parents did the best
with what they had and with what they could do, right? And I know she tells me that all the time
too. And that's no matter what, you have to give people grace. I just, I always remember that dream so much and about how she was so adamant and angry and sad about it. And I don't know if that's ever going
to come to light. I do just think that there are going to be, even the people that I'm around
online, the amount of mental and health wellness that I hear people speaking about is amazing.
Like, you know, people talking about
touching grass and then meditation, then you have people talking about breath work. And,
and I just think that it's going to be something that's really beneficial to
not only children, but to adults. You know, I learned shit from my kids all the time. I'm sure
you do too. No credits. Oh, of course, of course. And now. Sorry, sorry, that
was my fault. Oh, that's okay. Now they're at the age of where they're teenagers, like the saying
goes, hire a teenager while they still know everything, because everything's kind of,
they definitely have an opinion now. But the other thing I was going to say is, I think I saw
somewhere, it might have been an online video, where a teacher was greeting her children at the door
to their classroom. And I'm talking like primary school aged children, probably, I think, from the
video, like seven or so, eight. And she was greeting these children at the door and they
would pick up their name and they'd put it on a chart that kind of showed how happy, what their mood was that day, how they felt.
And so the teacher was getting a check at the door of the overall vibes of her class.
And obviously they'd made it so that it was OK to say that you weren't feeling well today or weren't feeling happy or whatever.
it so that it was okay to say that you weren't feeling well today or weren't feeling happy or
whatever. But it just meant that if someone came in and stuck the thing on super happy,
they'd be like, great, okay, I can leave them to be right now. And if someone came in and said
super sad, you'd be like, okay, you need some support. You need to be given a task that means
that you can have some people around you and lift your spirit. So I thought that kind of thing was
I love that so much. Like that, that just gets me in my feels because just like you were saying,
it also provides them a safe place with being able to not be okay, to have the sad face that day.
And that's maybe when people surround you and give you the extra love that you need,
because we never know who needs that. And I just think that we do ourselves a disservice by not talking about emotions and how we're actually doing.
If I see somebody on the street and they're like, hey, how's it going?
Good. How about you? All right.
You know what I mean? It's kind of like this PC thing that we do.
But what if somebody, what if you were walking by somebody, even your neighbor,
over to the mailbox and you said hey um hey how's your day going or how was your Christmas
and she broke down and cried and just said well I lost my dad last night you know what I mean
what would you do would you actually be able to support that person would you um give her a hug
would you say oh my gosh I'm saying a prayer for you.
Can I pray with you right now? Can I give you a hug? You know what I mean? Or would it just be
where people continue to feel like they just have to have on these masks and they're out there on
the streets and they're like, oh, I'm doing pretty good. And then you find out, do you know what I
mean? Then you find out that her dad died. I don't, it just, it's amazing. And I think that that mask
is actually kind of dangerous when everyone gets into the habit
of, hey, how are you going?
Regardless of how you're going.
And if you say anything other than good, thanks, people say, oh man, I didn't actually want
I was just saying the thing that you say when you see someone.
And those masks that you're talking about, I feel like have been
super exacerbated. I don't know if that's how you say it over the last few years with all the
filters, right? We're always happy. We never have frown lines. We never have wrinkles. My hair looks
impeccable at all times. And these types of things are very dangerous because we're not talking about
the real shit of being human. And that's where we can support each other. And that dangerous because we're not talking about the real shit of being human
and that's where we can support each other and that's where we're hoping to help out with kids
honestly like truly pets has his hand up again
yeah i just think most of the world's problems comes from people not talking to each other
do totally um but yeah like well a nice thing no credits just mentioned
that chart of like your emotions when you come in um i bought my mum a laptop like a couple years
ago for christmas and then she's been like going online and doing her thing she just listens to
motown all day and then just but occasionally she'll show me but she saw that thing online
and then um she's always worked with children before she works at like a charity center at
the minute so they get like international kids coming over uh for like a visit and stuff but
that's one of the things that she incorporated after seeing it online which I thought was really
cool because that's like all it's what
we're talking about isn't it like bringing the digital world into something that's usable that
benefits people and it went down like a hit when she brought it in um dude that makes me so happy
and that's my other part i want us to and this is just my perspective, but I want us to, as a community, build the
I want us to have no credits and his perspectives and how he does things in his country and
You know, I want Pad's mom to be involved and be like, oh my gosh, I wish that they
I feel like that's just, that is, that is the ultimate thing for me. Like it gives me gosh, I wish that they had this. Do you know what I mean? I feel like that's just, that is the ultimate thing for me.
Like, it gives me chills, truly.
I'll ask her, her name is Mrs. Pads.
Mrs. Pads needs to come talk to us one day.
I imagine she has a very fancy accent like you.
So, yeah, I can't even imagine that we dope.
I speak like, oh, oh basically i don't know i've not even got like that i think it's i think it's pretty fancy pads i always tell
you just go back from scotland i'm like babe he just got back from fucking scotland that's so cool
um yeah i love the way no credits talks, too. So, I know.
It's all perspective, you guys.
Papa, is there anything else you wanted to say about the Kind Cups, though, babe?
So, we talked about the creator studio, right?
A little, like, as far as we're going to be...
Okay, well, we told him that we're going to be letting them create their own kind of devs.
So, basically, you'll, instead of just being whatever, you'll get to do that. Right. And the people who own the presents that will get them a,
And they're going to have different options of how they build their kind
Have you guys ever heard of,
we don't want to say that,
uh you know where you stuff the bear and then you put the thing
um i don't know what you're talking about but we have a place in new zealand called build a
bear that's what i was talking about oh interesting i've never heard of that before yeah
the other thing i noticed is that on the gifts that i have they have a kindness level and i know
that you said in maybe yesterday's space or maybe no maybe it was the day before that i missed
because i was sleeping in because it was six o'clock in the morning and there's no way i was
getting up for that um but um you mentioned that that would have some kind of relevance in the creator studio and i
also noticed that the present that i won had a kindness rating of 444
oh bro it's scripted dude he's yeah so i actually got a message today from somebody asking me
um because they were like i have these presents give, but what do the kindness levels mean? And do I want to keep the ones higher kindness levels or lowest kindness levels? And I'm like, I can't tell you that.
Or is one the, because, you know, Papa likes to do things weird.
And he goes, technically, the highest kindness level is 444.
If anyone wants to know how that feels like, just let me know.
I'll send you a screenshot.
No, credit's head is actually growing as we sit here.
You're the one who told me to come and flex on everybody i sure did i sure did i told them in the message i said you need to come to the space and flex on everybody and let them know how you
won that present how you went and stole it back yeah well that was a lot of fun and i enjoyed the challenge thank you very much i'm just glad i got the number 444 like who's the real winner if you think about it
that's true you you uh you made uh mama a little jealous there so
no i was like babe go get me number 444. So you guys, another thing, I actually am the highest holder in the kind cubs.
And I will be giving them away because I already know Papa's going to tell you this.
So I learned how to mint that day and I'd never mint it.
And I kept pushing the button over and over and over.
And then Papa didn't realize that he'd already given me my seven allocation.
So I was like, babe, can you give me more he's like you are the
highest holder right now babe that's not okay so just so you guys know i mean the way we figured
that we were going to be there were when i looked at the list of people who didn't get a chance
maybe they were out or maybe they were busy with the holidays or or didn't realize it was actually going because
we've been shadow bound as as hell trying to like i don't know x algorithm being all fucked
um we're like there's tons of people that were like i really wish that they would have been
able to get in on this right um so yeah we'll be given some more out and maybe to um maybe even as like um little rewards or
little prizes or whatever over time we'll we'll kind of be like hey you want a present that's
true that's true yep and we definitely um you know we cut the supply for the presently presents
to the 444 but so my big thing you guys too is I want people to be able to make any kind of money if that's what they choose to do.
No hate in any way, shape, or form.
Go list your presents if you want to hang on to one.
I nearly listed it just for a laugh.
No, I don't want to actually even list it.
You could have put listed for 444 sold.
It's got a decent, you know, the flow price now,
there's like three cheeky little beggars that have listed it.
But the flow price is like $45, I think.
I guess not bad for a free mint.
But that's my thing you guys i just
i want it to be something special and i'm sure that's what every project says
you know um so we're just gonna go with the flow but i am um excited about this journey and i'm
excited about it being very community and i really like the idea of more badges i just have to say that again i'm so looking forward to the kind cubs mate like whatever comes
yeah we will be it's gonna be cute right they're really cute too um yeah they are oh my god you
don't understand how much fun i've had with this um i told papa i'm like this brings me joy and
then some days i'm like i am not having joy brought to me by this.
You guys, we've had like a lot of issues.
Anything that could go wrong.
Anything that could have gone wrong went wrong and it's over now.
So we're only going to move forward with the good.
And yes, I see Mr. Toast down there. Hi, Toast. and it's over now so we're only going to move forward with the good and yes i see mr toast
down there hi toast yeah sorry got a little excited i know i heard you screaming toast
and i'm like it's not even breakfast time you weirdo and tricky tricky hasn't said hi to us Hi, Tricky. It's Tricky Buddha here.
It's Tricky Buddha from DeFi Space Donkeys.
And then I muted so I could talk.
Nope, Tricky's not there.
Tricky did say that he's driving, so Tricky, please don't look away from the road please keep your eyes on the road we don't need you or dying on the road from us yeah he
nearly crashed because he's sending some emotions fingers off fingers off tricky eyes on the road
yeah unless you have that implant from Elon, knock it off.
I'm excited about the kindness cubs.
We have all different ideas and do we have millions and millions of dollars to put into this?
Are we going to be asking people for a shit ton of money?
I think it's just going to be what it ends up being.
like I said, well, we're going to, this is kind of being don't you think babe yep and it'll be like like i said well
we're gonna this is kind of like our our long-term kind of what are we going to build what what are
we going to put our um our energy into and into creating and if it had you know and try to just
make a little good in this world exactly Exactly. That's what it's about.
It's about, I watched this thing from Gary V today.
I need to get him on our space so bad one day.
I need to start engaging with him more again.
Because he literally reminds me of me.
But what he was saying is, he's like, you know, there's so much good that happens in this world.
And all we ever want to lift up, all we ever want to place our focus on is the 1% of the shit out there.
He's like, there's 99% good out there.
There's so many amazing, beautiful, high energy, just high frequency things that happen around us all the time.
And all we ever want to focus on is the shit. So I don't know. I just don't want to focus. I don't
want to focus. I don't want to focus on the shit. Tricky has his hand up.
damn you don't hear me there do you babe i don't hear it was weird because as soon as tricky came
off of um mute do you know like if your wi-fi goes out and the whole house goes like quiet
and then my right ear started ringing really high pitched but then i didn't hear anything
from tricky damn it that was hella weird i think that's called tinnitus is that what happens when right ear started ringing really high pitched, but then I didn't hear anything from Tricky. Damn it. That was
hella weird. I think that's called tinnitus.
Is that what happens when you get older?
You've been to too many rave
concerts. Yeah, that's what it is.
but yeah, like until we hear the
Yeah, we can the tricky 2FA.
Yeah, we can't even trust it.
We can't even trust it, bro.
Especially because he's driving.
We don't know, you know, if he's been like abducted or something.
Somebody could have taken one of his devices, Pads.
We don't know who that is. We do.
Or we have to catch him another day. I don't know. That was't know who that is. We don't just be on the safe side. We do. Or we have to catch him another day.
I don't know. That was so freaking weird.
Holy shit. My mom always told me
a ringing that somebody's thinking
take a look at the... That's what I thought.
Do you know when you get that random shiver
It's like my mom used to say,
it's the one walking over your grave.
And I was like, I'm not dead yet.
And then I'm wondering about time travel.
And you're thinking, the fuck?
What did you say to me, Papa?
Oh, can you look at the Kinecub's PFP again?
I adjusted it. Oh, did you fix it? Yeah. Cub's PFP again? I adjusted it.
Does it look a little better?
Maybe it's not refreshed for me.
If you click and then click on the profile.
Yeah, it's definitely smaller for me.
Does it look better, you guys?
It's got the green and yellow stripes coming out from behind it.
Okay, good. Yeah, babe, that looks so much coming out from behind it. Good.
that looks so much better.
And then you put like an ominous banner though,
You'll either like this or not like this,
but this is so very much a work in progress, you know, so you'll see how things kind of unfold and grow over time.
You're saying I won't like it?
First of all, I think it's cool for us to.
I'm like, I think it's cool that we're doing something together. And I feel like in general, this whole experience has, I don't know, I want to say brought us together, but it's, I don't, it's like a commonality. It's a common interest.
what but we're definitely not telling anybody we are the next board api officer we're going to bring
in so much money that everybody's going to be rich um because it's just a different experience
it's a it's going to be a cool journey yep yep tricky ricky can you talk yet It's not tricky Buddha here It's not tricky Buddha here
I'm ready to go how about you
Did we say enough about the kind cubs
Make sure you guys are following
Babe you need to follow me back bro that's messed up
You're only following yourself I bet
Oh no you're only following coin
base it made me pick somebody and oh okay you know what's funny when i signed up for x
or maybe when it did the switch over it automatically made me follow elon musk
yeah it wasn't even an option yeah Now it at least is an option,
but they say you have to follow somebody and based on your thing,
it recommends certain people.
so are the kind cups going to be on base?
that's important for people to know,
Yeah. I mean, i'm not driving personally this trunk is comfy oh dear god tricky said he's in the trunk he's in the trunk
okay let me tell you a secret trick tricky there there's the spot in the back that you can break
out the taillight and get them pulled over that's how a lot of people get helped when they're in the trunk.
So you just kind of pull up the,
there's usually material next to the taillight.
And if you just start kicking it or smash it with your hand,
it'll make the taillight burn out.
And then somebody will get pulled over and help you out.
That's today's life lesson.
Good to know and some wouldn't work in new zealand because if your tail lights out people just keep on driving so no help there that's awful well there's some cars too that have an
emergency release how about that that's what i was gonna say yeah the only times i've been
kidnapped is in like classic cars and i think if you so the trick is if you put you if you kind of
like cuff behind your back roll over so that your knees are pointing upwards and then just
repeatedly just kick it and then like an old latch will just oh good idea that's
a good idea i i don't know if you guys ever saw that movie jawbreaker oh my god that was awful
these girls i'm actually need to watch that it's been so long these girls kidnapped one of the
girls um from school as a prank and it's just something that they used to do to each other
it was her birthday they put a jawbreaker in her mouth.
And then they covered her mouth with like a.
She ended up fucking swallowing it.
So in her throat was this huge lump.
And then these girls had to figure out.
How they were going to hide the body.
Don't ever do that you guys.
The trunk latch is gone. There's just a dog
Dog cage. That's fantastic, Tricky.
Where are you going, Tricky? Or do I even want to know?
No, I'm just sitting in the car right now, just making sure everything's all set.
We're about to leave West Palm Beach and head to Orlando.
I apologize publicly for the terrible impression I did earlier.
I expect at least somebody to
blurt it out, you know what I mean?
I can't even finish my intro sometimes.
and at least one or two people to try it.
I do it with the mute off, usually.
Or what are you doing, is what I mean.
Are you going back home? Tricky?
We were with my wife's family.
Next year, we'll go to Washington
Oh, it's got just so pretty.
I heard that boxing day is actually the day that you go to the in-laws.
That's what Papa told me.
So I guess you're right on point.
I heard boxing day is the day you put everything back in the box and return it.
Papa and I were actually going to go uh the day today because i need some more
soaps and i was like oh my god they've got their semi-annual sale you know i'm all tripping about
it i'm like let's go babe so we go get in the car and we're driving and i'm like are we really
driving all the way down there and he's like i don't know i was kind of thinking maybe not i'm
like i have a weird feeling. Let's go home.
We're probably just going to order online.
Just go to the nearest hotel and say you're in room 112
and you need some soap. Ask for a
go on to trickiestowels.com.
Dude, Tricky, you need towels.
trickiestowels.com. Yeah Tricky, you need towels Trickiestowels.com Yeah, those
Yeah, those are water-soluble
Oh, Tricky, I didn't know if you saw
Oh, fuck, the account's not in here anymore
KindCubs account If you want to follow that.
And we were also just announcing that Papa, or that, geez,
that no credits actually got the missing present,
and he got the bounty for it.
He has the kindness level of 444.
I thought you were going to do like 436.
cool numbers around there too.
I'm a nerd, but I wrote this rap
like fucking 30 years ago.
is, I'm on a whole other frequency.
You know that Hertz, right?
Hertz with a Z. on a whole other frequency. You know that hertz, right? It hertz with a Z.
It hertz with a frequency.
Well, you guys, we're going to be closing up.
We got a lot of stuff done.
Papa, did you get any stuff done on your list?
I did. I did. Good job, done. Well, I did. Papa, did you get any stuff done on your list? I did.
Always good to see you two.
Hope everyone is doing awesome.
And hope you'll be safe for New Year's, man.
Florida and New Year's is like the scariest time in the world.
So there's like no contour of buildings or anything to hide it.
You just look up at the skies on fire.
There's certain places you can go where you can get above the firework line.
And that looks really, really cool.
That's the reason why I got married on 4th of July.
This is the only other day that compares. So cool, Tricky. My parents got married on fourth of july but this is the only other day that compares so cool tricky my parents got married on fourth of july i was like we're either we're
either gonna like have fireworks for every celebration for the end of time or we just
made a huge mistake and fucked up this holiday that's funny yeah my parents got married on fourth
of july in the sand on the beach um and it was really, really cool because like as they were, I don't know, I think they were toasting. The fireworks went off in the background. It was pretty sick. I'm not gonna lie. My dad did well with that. And then he bought her her ring. She calls it her firework display. It's really cute.
that's really cute um that's awesome yeah it's really cool the only other thing that compares
to that is that my uh when i got married we were on the 16th floor in the treasure island hotel and
when the fireworks went off like right as we were pouring champagne and getting ready for to toast
the fireworks go off and explode like eye level like 15 feet away oh shit and i mean i thought the window was not gonna take
it but that one has like a window on that floor is extra big but i was just like right where they
explode this can't be good for the window it was awesome though the timing on it was fucking
hilariously perfect oh what i was gonna say earlier too is um i called my bank and i was
gonna get some shit done i was like how are you are you? She was like, I'm okay.
And I go, oh, you're a fucking liar.
Man, you got to deal with people all day.
You know, I just started talking to her.
And, like, I had her laughing.
She was falling out of her seat.
She was just like, thank you for this.
I talked to her for, like, 45 minutes just to, like, make sure she, like, I completely flipped that lady's day.
And that shit is the best superpower you can develop.
I totally agree with you.
I think there was, somebody wrote a song about this, but it was a real story where he was over by a bridge and he saw some guy there and he actually went and started talking to him.
Years later, he wrote a song about the fact that he was actually going to end his time here on Earth.
And that if it weren't for that guy stopping and taking time to talk to him, he would no longer be here.
So, yeah, it's important to check in with people.
And this is a tough time of year.
Holidays are tough for a lot of people.
You've got to check in, but in but also like don't take that
shit personally like you know what i mean you're just a warrior in the fight when it when it comes
down to it sometimes right um it's not your job to fucking save anybody but no that's true you're
right on that tricking yeah you could not make their day worse that's that's a good starting
point if you could just like leave every place just a little bit better than it was when you started, you'll
be good and you'll always be welcome back.
Or if you learn how to cook, then you'll always be welcome back
cook meal with love. I don't
cook with love. I cook with hate.
So Papa has to give us all of our
I do. Some days I will make soup
out of love, but it's rare i i doesn't make me
happy see i was into chemistry when i was younger like i was mainly because i was just making
fireworks but you know mom's like oh you got an acids kit a bases kit and a metals kit i wonder
what you're gonna do anyway uh so uh in the process of making those fireworks uh you kind
of learn to like you know figure out the chemistry of things and like what you know i approach most
things like very scientifically ever since that um because you want to you don't you got to use
the proper amounts or else the fireworks not going to work the same um so baking is the same way and
most food and meat is the same way.
And then there's little tricks like salting or marinating before,
letting it rest half as long, if not as long as it cooks.
Yeah, and a good sauce is also the key there.
But yeah, become a saucier.
four sauce bases that every sauce is pretty much made after or like uses variations of
Figure out there's four bases, four sauce bases that every sauce is pretty much made after
did you say a saucier yeah you don't have to actually become a saucier i mean but like that's
yeah that's basically like i mean it's exactly what it sounds like he makes the sauce that's
an awesome name papa is definitely a sau. And he's a savant.
I love the word savant, too.
He's like between the prep and the first line chef.
I thought Tricky was speaking Canadian there.
I told Papa today, I was like, we really need to get our damn passports.
Otherwise, we can't leave the country whenever we feel like it. And he was like, I know. And I was like, you don need to get our damn passports. Otherwise, we can't leave the country whenever we feel like it.
And I was like, you don't even have your passport.
You can't even run away from me.
If things go south, you can't leave the country away from me.
And he's like, technically, I can just go over to Canada.
Yeah, that's Jose and that's Betty Margarita.
The only concept that I've heard the saucy A in is when someone said, isn't she saucy, A?
why no credits thought he was speaking.
Okay, isn't she saucy, A?
I mean, I'm trying. joke. I like it.
But, like, no, I just think that's another thing.
Like, I think fine dining is a bit of a scam.
Because have you noticed how since the French have been obsessed with it,
Just in case you didn't know, Mama and Papa Bear, the English hate the French.
I was just going to say, dude, I need to bring in...
Have you met Brownian before?
Oh, I would pay to listen to you guys talk.
It's fine. that's fantastic i mean my my french teacher
was kind of nice but other than that man i haven't met any like normal french people at all i don't
know if it's just like i haven't been in the right places or what but man every time i've been in
it's like they're like the worst hippie I've ever met.
It's not just the English.
And it's Tricky Buddha from DeFi Space Donkeys.
Like, you don't, I mean, you don't doubt this man when he says something.
There's no hate, but I will make the, I'll make fun of everything.
It's harder for me not to make fun of everything.
You can bring up the thing that I love the most.
I'll still probably crack on it and burn them.
I liked how no credits was like,
just in case you didn't know mama bear.
So I appreciate you telling me that.
I just dropped my laptop on the floor.
just to clarify, I do have some like friends who are friends. close this up oh no i just dropped my laptop on the floor that did not happen no i don't uh just
just to clarify i do have some like friends who are french like i don't hate anyone like this
i mean armor's english is like a bloody you know no we know pads you love everybody we're gonna
have to figure out talk later and figure this out like is it like the north of france like what part
of france has got the cool friend
If you want to do some homework you have to go watch the skit from Monty Python called the French taunter
The entirety of the life of Brian as well is everything I still have to go watch Lord of the Rings.
Monty Python on every substance you can think of.
that you'll ever understand the English
Their comedy will make a lot more
Fawlty Towers. Okay. race of people. Their comedy will make a lot more sense after that.
Those three things, if you watch those, you'll
understand the English. That's the
guideline. That's the book. Got it.
I hope you wrote that down, Papa.
Okay. Well, you can show me.
Alright, babe, close us out.
I'm ready to go eat dinner, I said.
We're going to have leftovers.
I think it's a sea baba bear being like, I don't like this.
You know what show I do not like?
That guy, he's like, God.
Do you guys know what the fuck I'm talking about?
You're talking about Napoleon. Oh, my God. I cannot handle that kind off. Do you guys know what the fuck I'm talking about? Oh, my God.
I cannot handle that kind of shit, you guys.
It makes me actually angry.
Have you ever seen it, Pads?
It's called Napoleon Dynamite.
It's the stupidest shit you'll ever hear.
It's called that. It's dumb. hear i don't know it's called that it's dumb
oh my god it's a movie yeah it's called napoleon
nicole napoleon dynamite and then you liked it pats
i thought it was funny too yeah it's just the way
yeah it's just stupid is that well that's Yeah, it's just stupid, isn't it?
Yeah, I can't handle stuff like that.
It makes me actually angry.
Papa Bear, you need to look up
Some Mothers Do Evan with Frank Spencer.
That'll drive Mama Bear off a cliff as well.
And he made me watch this stupid movie,
Everything All at Once Everywhere,
Oh my God, that pissed me off too.
Everything everywhere all at once?
I like the title, but I haven't
Papa Bear, pull the ripcord.
Yeah, I'm getting hangry. Can't you hear him? I'm about to roar.
I'm about to lose an arm here.
Thank you for showing up.
We'll be back again tomorrow,
4 p.m. Papa Standard Time.
