Thank you. Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim.
Oh, yeah, we sound beautiful.
We sound beautiful.
Am I echoing?
Are you twins?
I was echoing.
Alright, I'm going to play a little bit of music real quick.
I got a song.
Honestly, I got a song. This one makes me think of a bomb.
This song makes me think of a bomb. We're just going to get the stage
set up real quick. It's not going to take that long.
I don't even think we're going to listen to the whole song.
But we're going to get everybody up here, here we go
Someone want to take you home Don't let them
Even when you're on your own
They don't want your life
They don't understand what's good for you I know you're not scared
That everyone's watching
It was just
For us It was just for us
It was just for us
Someone wanna run a mouth
Just let them
Even though I'm
Actually, that's a good note. That's a good note to stop on.
That's a good note. That song was oddly on brand.
Felt very good, very calm.
We don't have a ton of time here today.
We're here for a good time, not a long time.
It depends on your perspective of time, I suppose.
But we've got a couple of great topics and a stage full of beautiful speakers, wonderful apes, Solana DGens.
Thank you guys for showing up here. We have myself. I am lost. The account says the Hodler Collective, but I'm lost.
I promise. Capital L, not lowercase,
and our beautiful, wonderful Aquamarine.
That's maybe the only time you'll ever hear me say it like that.
Our beautiful, wonderful, incredible, pristine Aquamarine.
Grateful Ape here with us today.
You know it's going to be fireworks.
How are you doing this morning?
What's up, guys?
I'm having a blast.
Aqua on top, baby.
Super hype about today's episode, about today's space,
because Project Raid is on fire, man. I'm really hype about today's episode about today's space because project rate
is on fire man i'm really hype about ape coin about everything that's happening in the club
other side so really stoked to be here guys and we have so many beautiful beautiful apes here on
stage in the audience and not only apes you know other pfps too so love it man

Still creepy man, you're still wearing that
Jigsaw mask, Simple still wearing that
Coin, ape chain
Lost, I'm not sure
If it's only me, but I'm losing you a little bit
Guys, anyone having the same issue?
Damn, man, you need to switch
operator into aquamarine man like what's going on you're getting rocked
okay guys I'll take it from here lost try to figure out the connection I don't
what's going on there maybe step down I'll bring you back up. We couldn't hear you and yeah, we gotta slowly get into it.
We have Epic Guest here on stage.
Are you back, man?
Holy smoke, bro.
Yeah, I know it's your first space, that's why you have me here, but yeah, try to figure it out, man.
Okay, so let me circle around and say hi to our guest here before Lost figure out his connection and if he doesn't figure it out it's okay guys I'm here it's gonna be it's gonna be
fine it's gonna be crazy so PPman the legend himself how you doing man What's good? Grateful. What's up dude? We scared Lost. He's just
crying in the background maybe, I don't know.
Yeah I hacked his internet connection man. You know Aqua on top always, you have to do whatever
you need to do to win so that's it. But Lost I hope you you're gonna make it back.
I hope you're gonna make it back.
I'm going to start bringing more and more people here on stage.
Wabam! How is it going for you?
GM, GM guys, great to be up here.
Super stoked about Project Raid.
On a personal note, I got married last weekend, so I'm feeling great,
feeling like a true husband.
So loving life and excited for today.
Amazing, man. Big congrats. Love to hear that.
And yeah, man, it's really dope to be here today because Ape is the ticker, right?
Simple Farmer, is that correct?
Hell yeah, sir. What's up, GM?
How are you doing today?
Doing well, doing well, man.
Ready to talk some ApeCoin, ready to talk Project Raid,
and get this fire started.
ApeCoin is going to Solana, baby.
Lost, are you back?
Yo, I better be back.
We got you, man.
We got you. Yo, it's not a Twitter We got you, man. We got you.
It's not a Twitter spaces if someone doesn't rug out immediately upon opening the room.
So this is definitely a Twitter spaces.
That's how you know we're here.
Everything is still working exactly as it's supposed to.
Appreciate you picking that up.
We're going to invite people up from the community to join us after the stage.
We've got a lot of stuff to get through here.
A bunch of speakers.
Like I said, not a ton of time,
but let's just do a quick hello.
Good morning to everybody.
I see at the top of my screen is Von Doom.
It's just happenstance.
Appreciate you joining us here.
Von Doom, just quick.
Good morning.
GM, how are you?
How are you?
I'm doing beautiful.
I appreciate you dropping whatever you had going on
on this Monday morning to come up here
and join us and be a part of the stage.
We're jumping into Project Raid.
We're jumping into the other side.
And you are, of course, one of the leaders there now with Bathroom Blitz.
So again, appreciate you coming up.
PP Man, we already said hi to you.
You're making fun of me.
I thought we were brothers.
Well, bam.
Congratulations.
Simple Farmer.
I think I heard you.
I think I heard.
But Cam, I didn't hear from you.
I didn't hear a good morning at GM.
I didn't hear a cackling, creepy laugh.
How are you today?
Feeling good, feeling good.
How are you doing, Lost?
I'm great.
And I guess I should forewarn you.
I didn't forewarn you before,
but Lost on Stage is a different animal.
Lost on Stage is almost like
when you see me running around IRL at the event.
It's almost like a new ape has been unleashed it's not the same ape that's that's
typing in the dops this is this is really this is lost lost spencer gm good morning how are you
you're no stranger to to to the real lost how are you i'm excited man i'm always excited but i'm like particularly excited today let's go me too and
we got pedro our special special guest from solana and i'm pretty sure we have the same role you
have fun at solana in your bio i have wild card at ape chain in my bio so i'm i'm not 100 sure but
i'm getting a sense here hell yeah man i'm super excited to be here. I feel lost in the sea of apes right now.
You guys have me surrounded with the PFPs,
so I'm loving the energy.
Fun fact, you guys are my only ETH NFT community that I rock.
I got a kennel that I rock,
so I'm super pumped that you guys are bringing your
culture over to Solana and happy to jam today. 100%. We're bringing the culture over in full
swing and appreciate you guys for having us. Appreciate the invite. And speaking of bringing
things over, it's almost as though we've summoned the penguin. I mean, speaking of apes, too many
apes, we summoned the penguin. But this isn't just any penguin.
This is Kenny Z.
This is layer zero.
This is the way that we're moving around.
This is our OFT standard.
This is why we're able to move around
so cleanly, so smoothly.
Kenny Z, appreciate you taking some time
to join us this morning.
Love your hat.
How are you?
Of course, guys.
Thanks so much for having me on
in that warm intro.
Had to switch it up with the pengu from the apes, but love the apes nonetheless,
and really happy to help you guys expand anywhere you want.
Love that. Love that. If anybody's looking over, we are building together.
Don't get it twisted. Don't get it confused.
And we've got the Val account here.
I'm pretty sure there's a mutinate behind that account.
He's just hiding. How are you this morning?
What's good, GM, GM? I'm hype, man.
I'm a longtime ape.
Been a part of the community for a long, long time
and built out this super cool social platform
that now ApeCoin is going to be able to leverage
to go ape shit.
So really hype over here.
All right, well, I'm ready to jump right in.
I'm looking through the crowd.
I see a lot of familiar faces, a lot of familiar apes,
a lot of familiar dgens.
Appreciate all you guys for joining us and being here with us. And what an audience.
I mean, the Magic Keen's here. The Board API Club is here. The Salon Ecosystem account is here.
This is one for the books. If you guys aren't taking notes, take notes. Get your ApeCoin
together. Let's jump right into it. Simple, how are you doing? Are you ready? Are you here? Are
you there? Let's go, sir.
Let's do it. All right. So we're talking about Project Raid.
People have been hearing this a lot on the timeline.
If you've been following Simple Farmer, you've definitely heard Project Raid.
At this point, it's an acronym.
We love acronyms here in the crypto ecosystem.
So simple, keep it simple.
What is this new acronym? What is Project Raid?
Yes, sir. Project Raid stands for Rapid ApeCoin Integration Deployment.
It is a bona fide strategy for ApeCoin where we will be expanding and increasing the utility, the user base, the trading volume, everything for ApeCoin.
Everything. You're going to be able to get ApeCoin in more places. You're going to be able to get ApeCoin in more places.
You're going to be able to use ApeCoin in more ways.
And the big highlight, the first huge step of Project Raid
is our deployment of ApeCoin on Solana.
Well, that was extremely simple was that was extremely simple that sounds extremely simple great I thought
I thought grateful my might pop in there but man I'm popping in I'm popping in it was simple man
it was a simple farmers name and I wanted to ask actually PP man why why save going doing this man
I love simple simple's answer so the way that we're thinking about
it is we're super financializing apecoin i think one of the bigger goals here is
um to expand the apecoin's audience look i apechain will always be the home for apecoin but at the
same time i think we need to be conscious that metas narratives just they strike outside our
ecosystem from time to
time so we're getting we're basically getting eight point closer to those metas and i'll say
and sorry to everyone you know on stage but i'm probably the biggest eight point bullet here like
i'll claim that title but i still test new products you know another change i still loop ethena hunt pendle i farm hyper evm protocols i trade memes
and what the team is doing here is we're getting game closer to all these meds so i think that the
plan here is for everyone to that holds a point to be able to use you know their tokens wherever
the hot iron is.
Wherever the hot iron is.
That's going to be wherever the apes are at.
So that's one thing for certain.
But for everywhere else, Cam,
why is the first stop Solana?
Why Solana first?
I mean, I think it's a no-brainer.
You know, you got 500 DGens in this space right now.
Every one of us, you know,
whether we hold NFTs or not, you know, has messed around on Sol, has seen it grow from, you know, that 2020 cycle. It's got, you know, consumer audience. It's got really interesting
experimental protocols. And at the end of the day, like, there's just a ton of apes already here. I
mean, Pedro, you got your BAKC.
We count that, right?
We got Vala, you know, showing up on stage, you know, and I think they're just repping
the fact that apes have already been here.
So it's a no-brainer for us.
And I got to shout out the Solana team, the Solana Foundation, for just being incredible
partners, you know, coming, you know, since day one when we talked out the idea and just
saying, you know, how can they make it happen? How can we bring these two legacy, you know, tit know since day one when we talked out the idea and just saying you
know how can they make it happen how can we bring these two legacy you know titans in the industry
together uh and so we feel the love and we're hoping to show the love right back to the solana
community let's go man i have a question for simple because simple farmer i've been holding
ape coin and i have a i have a nice bag i'm really happy with that but i want to put it in work so what will we be able to do uh or what are you
looking most forward to doing with your or my ape bag now yeah so you know with the hyper
financialization of apecoin we want to be pushing up the leaderboard of total market cap. This is about increasing
price action for ApeCoin as much as it is utility. But it's important that when we get to this new
user base on Solana, these new potential holders, that the holders have really clever and interesting
ways to use their ApeCoin, essentially. So we're not pulling up to Solana, deploying,
use their ApeCoin, essentially. So we're not pulling up to Solana, deploying, putting up a tent.
We're coming in and we're integrating deeply with culture and so on. We're integrating deeply with
protocols. We're going to make sure ApeCoin is available in the best new proprietary protocols
and the big powerhouse OGs at the same time. So one of my favorite things that you'll be able to do really early is,
of course, we know Solana is a super high volume chain, right? There's a lot of volume on trading
pairs. So now as an ApeCoin holder, if you hold some ApeCoin, a nice idea would be to take ApeCoin,
pair it with Sol, and LP on Meteora. Boom. Right away, you'll have access to like massive yields
that you'll be getting just as a
source of this
trading volume that's happening.
we'll be able to make more money?
Apes like to make money.
Apes like to make money.
Especially in the Solana ecosystem,
where maybe we've
got a little bit to learn about the trenches there.
Pedro, appreciate you for joining us.
If anybody knows about the Sol ecosystem and can help us find our way, it's going to be you.
What are some of the things that you're hoping to see from the Ape ecosystem as it's expanding here into Solana?
Yeah, I'm extremely excited. As I said on the top, you know, you guys in terms of an ecosystem, IP and brand have
been at the forefront of bringing crypto to the masses.
So I think extending that culture and bringing some of that, you know, net new energy and
excitement into the Solana ecosystem is something that I'm excited about. But I just wanted to shout out you guys in terms of the partnerships
and the ecosystem integrations that you guys have been making
in the Solana ecosystem have been extremely thoughtful,
whether it be with the leading Solana DeFi protocols
in terms of monetizing your Apecoin and getting access to net new assets on Solana,
whether it be these LP pools with Sol
and other exciting cultural assets,
but also ecosystem teams.
I know you guys can cook up
and talk about what y'all are doing with opinions.fun,
but I think we have some really exciting consumer products on Solana, whether it be Drip House or opinions.fun, but I think we have some really exciting consumer products on Solana,
whether it be Drip House or opinions.fun, and you guys are really having a thoughtful approach in
terms of how you all are bringing ApeCoin to market and bringing your community over.
Don't want to leak the alpha, though, so if you all want to talk about it to the community in terms of
what y'all are bringing uh you guys can can take it from here i mean cam cam might cam might beat
me over the head with uh with the leftover jigsaw mask if if we leak too much alpha but i i mean i
think we could tell people get give people a little bit of a sense of what they have to look forward here.
I mean what do you know Pedro? What aren't you telling us?
He's like wait does that mean I'm okay?
I think I would get in trouble.
No you know man, you good. I play a sound you forget about all the troubles you have and you can share anything you want okay?
Yeah, now you can share anything you want okay yeah that's wiping wiping the memory of of everyone here uh now i'm i'm uh that's not
not my story not my story to tell but i'm actually excited for uh for the ip to to come over whether
it be through uh a potential collectibles campaign that you
guys are doing or collaborating with certain DeFi protocols.
I'm just excited for all that.
And I don't want to spill too much details here.
All right.
All right.
That's fair.
We'll circle around to that. All right. That's fair.
We'll circle around to that.
We'll circle around to that.
I mean, I think it's all of those things.
I think you hinted at a few different protocols,
a couple of different concepts of things that people can build.
And I think Ape's won access to all of it.
I think the ApeCoin, the BoredApe community,
we're a bunch of button clickers.
So if you've got something new and interesting,
something that's exciting,
I think we're going to be interested in figuring out a way that we can expand and integrate there.
And I mean, we're unlocking a whole new bucket, a whole new region of community members here,
where we've got the club and the board apes. We've got the other side in the metaverse. We've got
ape coin, which is our ticker. And now we've got this whole new entire ecosystem of people
that have been doing it and are doing it at quite a big level. Maybe there's even some expectations
that exist around the Saloni ecosystem because you guys are so big and because you guys have
been doing it for so long. Maybe you could just tell us so people here that are in the room that
haven't spent a lot of time with the real Saloni ecosystem, with the people that are building the
protocols, the products that are over there on Sol.
What's it like working with those builders?
What's it like working with those community members on Sol, Pedro?
Yeah, I mean, it's amazing.
It's an amazing consumer builder energy.
So I think the thesis of the Solana ecosystem right now,
and I'm sure you've seen folks kind of meme-ify it on the
Twitter timeline, is this idea of internet capital markets, right? The ability to trade
any type of asset, whether it be digital, physical, a stock on one unified liquidity layer.
And that starts from, you know, the amazing cultural assets from, you know, bringing ApeCoin to Solana to being able to trade, you know, gold, the S&P, Tesla, etc. on one layer.
And I think the benefits of composability that you bring in terms of having one layer allows you to build really, really interesting products.
So the ability to have ApeCoin on Solana
means that you can actually monetize
the ability to play a game using ApeCoin in the ecosystem,
collateralizing that position,
expanding your ecosystem through collectibles
on Drip House, etc.
So we want to continue with that thesis to bring not only, of course, liquidity and different types of large assets,
but also builders who are excited about creating a network effect of fun, I call it.
And you guys are just the continuation of that
in the Solana ecosystem.
So we're excited to have all y'all here today
try out a bunch of fun applications on Solana,
utilizing your ApeCoin very, very, very soon.
PP Man can't wait to have fun.
His eyes are literally busting out of his head.
I hear him trading already, man.
Yeah, let me tap into PeePee real quick.
Let me see what's going on over there, PeePee.
Are you having fun already?
What are we going to do on Solana?
What are you looking forward to?
Dude, I am having fun.
I think what's most exciting to me is that ApeCoin builders,
like Ape builders can expand their audience
and penetrate new ecosystems, specifically Solana, right?
And anybody will be able to build using ApeCoin anywhere permissionless.
And I think that just being able to tap into new ecosystems will be, I don't know, pretty exciting.
I love it, man. I'm also excited. And and last we forgot probably one thing guys
retweet the space so more people can listen to us more people can see the space more more people
can learn about ape coin if you can if you are somewhere outside in the crowd like just scream
ape coin and uh yeah that's that's it guys and um vala i see your hand. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm just hype, man.
The energy's always been real with the apes, bro.
Like, you guys have always been the OG trendsetters.
And for you guys to obviously see and recognize Solana as a clear place for you to put your flag in the ground
and show what you can do when you emerge OG culture with really dope technology.
And it's honestly really, really, really obvious
that you guys are looking to see
who can you connect with in the Solana ecosystem
that isn't necessarily at the top.
They might be just starting out.
They might be somebody who can be beneficial to us.
And that's also why you guys gave us
the opportunity to work with you, which is amazing.
You know, like ApeCoin needs to always be on top
of what's trending, what's new.
How do we continue to be the culture coin?
You guys are well on the way.
Go ahead, Grateful.
You got us.
You got us.
That's facts.
Yeah, that's facts.
We have amazing holders and the community, as you mentioned.
I'm really hyped about it because it really takes time to build this, right?
It's not going to happen overnight, so that's amazing.
And I would love to ask Kenny, Abe,
and guys, I know you messed up the wording right now,
but yeah, don't take it.
Abe was the first native yield bearing OFT asset, right?
Can you tell us about your experience
with developing OFT ecosystem,
oh shit, I hear myself twice a little bit,
OFT ecosystem and communities,
and what are some of the benefits in your opinion
to expanding into multi-chain ecosystem?
And maybe for MFers in the audience,
they heard OF, right?
Like maybe if you could also explain what OFT means
because I can imagine them being wild in the chat.
OFT absolutely has no relationship with OnlyFans.
Maybe if they decide to come on chain in a few years or so,
we can do something then.
But nothing at this moment.
OFT is Layer Zero's cross-chain token standard
that allows for one-on-one minting and burning to any other chain that you want, right?
So for the ApeCoin journey, I think we've been there every step of the way.
It's been super exciting to see.
Obviously, ApeCoin started out as a token on Ethereum.
And then we heard that, you know, they were launching a chain.
Then along comes ApeCain.
And we actually custom designed a solution for Arbitrum where because Ape is the
gas token of ApeChain and just an ERC-20 fungible token on Ethereum, we created a way to link those
two deployments to where if you're a holder of Ape on Ethereum, you can easily bridge that via
layer zero to ApeChain and then start interacting with the ecosystem there, using it to transact for
gas, et cetera. And we think there's obviously multiple benefits of expanding to new ecosystems, right?
Since we're talking about Solana today, I think from a user perspective, we get to see
all these really cool and exciting narratives play out first on Solana.
Take a look at meme coins or take a look at the AI narrative that happened at the end
of last year, or even this new one that's sprouting up with these collectibles and these
Pokemon cards.
There's just a bunch of really exciting stuff that happens first on Solana.
And there's like a lot of really tangential ecosystem plays or composability that comes with expanding to these new ecosystems
that we love to see, you know, Abe taking a stab at and expanding to Solana.
Really dope, man. I'm excited. I'm excited about it.
It's been a journey. You mentioned when you mentioned that ApeCoin was on ETH, I almost forgot that, to be honest. I bridge and I live on ApeChain,
so absolutely love it that we are moving to Solana too. Los, do you have any more questions
to Kenny? Because I see I see simple farmers hand
Yeah, I know Kenny doesn't have a ton of time I think he's got a cut again like two and a half minutes
So that's let's hear from simple real quick want to disrupt his train of thought and then we do have never the question for for Kenny
Yeah, I just want to say I think layer zero is really fantastic technology
Obviously it allows us to send cross-chain messages. The important thing to realize, guys, is that ApeCoin has this massive metaverse
that is a utility and a functionality of the token.
It's called the other side, right?
And so the other side is in this crazy 3D universe
for people who haven't heard about it yet.
The thing is, in the other side,
you can engage in TXs that happened
actually on ApeChain with ApeCoin.
Now, it is within the process of thought here
that if you can use Layer 0 within a D app
to send a cross-chain message,
in the future, potentially,
we could have protocols from several different chains
creating interactions that are happening on the other side
in a 3D front end, essentially.
front end essentially.
So pretty soon we'll be able to do more than just, by the time we're playing poker, by
the time we figured out poker, we might just, I'm not even going to say it.
I'm not even going to say it.
I'm going to, I'm going to let you keep it.
Kenny, I have, I have another question.
This, this question is, there's so many terms in this question, but you are definitely the guy to nail it. So why is it important for tokens, and especially tokens like Ape, where there's this big community, why is it important to use Layer Zero to go not just across different chains, but across different virtual machines so we're talking about the ethereum ecosystem we're now going to not just another you know l1 l2 l3 we're going to a whole new ego i guess it isn't that one not an l2 or
an l3 but a whole new ecosystem why is this important yeah absolutely i think more and more
of this cycle we've seen different chains specialize in a bunch of different things right so
for solana obviously a huge user slash consumer facing aspect um but like with the emergence of
these other things,
like even we helped Ape get to Hyperliquid, right?
Like where we've seen a lot of demand for tokens
that want to essentially expand their distribution
or their surface area for users to come in and purchase a token.
And Hyperliquid is the preferred venue
for like a lot of these token issuers or these assets issuers.
So there's just like a bunch of different flavors of specialization.
And the strategic edge in using Layer Zero is that we are live on 140 chains, right? So really,
if there's like a new chain that's garnered a lot of interest from users or developers,
odds are we will be there. And so deploying using Layer Zero is essentially a way of future-proofing
yourself, right? You never know which chain is going to pop up and capture user or developer
share. And so by building on
layer zero, you can basically prep yourself for, you know, these new narratives or these new chains
that are going to sprout up and capture a lot of user interests. And we're super excited to see
that that Ape has done that with like a bunch of different chains, right? I mean, Ethereum,
Ape chain, Arbitrum, Solana, Hyperliquid, the list goes on and on. We've been happy to support
Ape like every step of the way and can't wait for you guys to make your choice on
which chain to expand to next.
Well, I love
the way he said that. Can't wait for
us to decide what is...
We got to clip that one.
That's a clip of Reno right there.
Just wrote it down.
I feel like
that was like his mic drop too. It was right on the
830 dot, but I'm going to pick the mic back up and run it back.
Is there anything you wanted to say before you dip out?
I appreciate you joining us today.
No, that's all from you guys.
It was great coming here and much love to the apes.
Thanks so much for having me on.
Appreciate you.
If you guys are just now tuning in, you saw it here.
You've seen it here first.
ApeCoin is expanding.
We are raiding ape is
going to solana we didn't we didn't even get a date on that yet i wonder i might have to we
wouldn't have to circle back on that anyway cam i got a hard question we got a hard question for me
easy answer for you i think for everybody here is the easy answer but is there going to be less
focus on the ape chain community i know we've been talking about chains and where are we going next but i mean we still have ape chain is there going to be less focus on the ApeChain community? I know we've been talking about chains and where are we going next, but we still have ApeChain. Is there going to be
less focus on the ApeChain community? Hell no. No less focus. Everyone here already knows we've
been making big hires, expanding the team. It's all part of the plan. There's no downtime. There's
no downshift. We are going to focus just as much on the ApeChain community as we always have.
And now we got a whole new community to service as well.
So a little less sleep for all of us,
a little more fun for all of them.
Dare you guys to find the time zone
that the ApeCoin, ApeChain, ApeCo team
won't pull up on you and get loud.
I dare you to find that time zone.
It doesn't exist.
The worst of clock is the best of clock for us.
It doesn't matter, we'll find you. We get you go ahead go ahead grateful gang okay i'm actually
we're trying to invite uh somebody up here but it's running what's going on man yeah i sent i
sent the ping on the tg we we got it we got our guest i mean we're gonna shout the we'll
shout the protocol out if nothing else we got a guest here from quanto this is a place you can
trade memes and tokens using leverage it exists on solana there's definitely some alpha there we got yao
kim is here so i mean in the in the absence in the absence of of yao we can we can we can we can
we can jump it we can jump it for now and we can circle back. Actually, Simple Farmer is just so immersed in all things DeFi.
He might even be able to just take the question.
But sometimes in Twitter, you can also Beetlejuice things.
Sometimes there are people that are so connected to their niche, to their specialty.
You just say their name three times and they'll just...
I see him.
I see that he's trying so hard.
I'm looking on like three devices.
He's trying, he's so close.
Bro, it's like sending ETH transaction back in 2021.
Takes time.
Twitter 2025, same as ETH 2021.
Not on Apechain, I'm at first.
On Apechain, you just click, man, and it's there.
So we progressed, but damn, yeah, it's ragging.
It's ragging.
Maybe, Jakim, if you leave, turn off your Twitter and try to get back again.
Kill the app and try to get back again.
You know, we have another try.
And buy iPhone maybe.
And we can go with Wabam.
Yeah, let's do it.
Let's go to Wabam.
He's ready, man.
You guys have very successfully
made me feel like second fiddle here.
Let's just go with Wabam.
Get used to it.
Orange background, right?
It's because he got married, not because of the orange background.
Come on. Oh, Jakim's here.
Jakim's here. It's incredible. Jakim, welcome
here. Can you hear me? Yeah, yeah, I can. Can you guys hear me?
Oh, really well man, absolutely love to have you here.
And let's hop into the question before Twitter rugs us again, because it's wild up here.
Guys, we need more retweets, I think that's the problem, we need more retweets here,
so Twitter knows that this is important space and they don't rug us.
But Jakim, I have a question for you.
So what is the benefit of trading pairs and memes on Quanto as opposed to other platforms?
I think that the core of Quanto is kind of looking at what Solana native people really want,
which is, you know, trade all pairs and capital efficiency.
So to be able to trade with anything and make as much money as possible.
So we enable you to deposit anything as collateral.
So you can use Ape, deposit that and then use that along any other asset or Solana along
any other asset.
And we list Beam coins and other coins from very early low market caps from 10 mil to,
you know, as low
as 10 mil, we start listing them.
So you can go degen mode on everything.
That is degen mode.
You could call it ape mode.
This is inherent brain infrastructure for apes.
If we have to click it, we have mice.
We have plenty of devices
to get that done.
I wish I could turn my cam on right now because I'm sitting in office of Machi and
it's just board-ate branded everywhere.
Oh, it has to be beautiful.
I love that.
It is beautiful.
Yes, sir. That's where I'm at. So it's very fitting that we're doing this and congrats
to you guys because making this move is big.
And I think it's going to be well received by the Solana ecosystem.
Love that.
I appreciate you for coming up here to join us.
Oh, go ahead, Grateful.
Go ahead, go ahead.
Yeah, I just want to say that I love doing new things on Chain.
And Simplifier mentioned before that he will be writing tutorials or what can you do on ApeChain.
And it's going to be amazing.
I want to definitely do more stuff on ApeCh ape chain and this is going to be a banger so no pressure
simple farmer right now uh but we are expecting that soon yeah maybe maybe we can even uh maybe
we can we can tune into to simple here go just just slightly off script what what was it for
you simple farmer that that made Quanto such an interesting partner?
I know you were excited about this one.
We've got them on the agenda here for a reason.
They're here with us today, so we're clearly excited about them joining us and partnering with them.
What was it for you that really stands out about Quanto?
Yeah, of course.
First of all, I'd like to shout out Joachim and the team.
I think they were super receptive.
Literally found the account on X, messaged them.
I was like, let's do this.
We got this thing done within 48 hours of starting a conversation.
So the important thing is that when ApeCoin comes to Solana, we want to make sure that we're tapped into the ethos of what Solana is.
And so there is a lot of degeneracy, right, meme coin trading.
But there's also robust and strong DeFi protocols.
And Quantoos one of them
so now we talk about perps protocols perps protocols are actually like the backbone
of the majority of the revenue that happens in crypto and especially specifically in web3 on
the uh with decentralized protocols quanto allows you to long and short meme coins right
uh so this is going to be important because you'll be able to use your ApeCoin there as collateral to long and short tokens. Also, this might be a little bit of
alpha. Joachim has teased to me that there will be special benefits to Apes trading on Quanto.
So we love to see that type of collaboration within a partner. Furthermore, you'll actually
be able to long and short ApeCoin on Quanto. So this is another place for you to trade perps. They have a fantastic UI, beautiful platform and a super bullish team.
So that makes it a no brainer for me. Like I said, we want to be with ApeCoin. We want to be
working with the big dogs, as well as the protocols that are deeply tapped into Solana culture. And
that's where I fit Quantum.
Any examples of benefits, Simple Farmer?
I will leave that to Joaquin.
Okay, well, I appreciate the kind words.
And yeah, so we have a few things planned with you guys, with Ape,
and I think for the benefit of the community um
i don't i don't know if it's good to say all of them yet but i think that this is going to be a
long-term cook for for all ape holders and i want to incentivize as much as possible because i've
you know been in this space a long time and always let's say looked up to the what everything that
ape coin has done and the ape community has done so far yeah, it's just it's going to be big.
I'm going to I don't want to dox all the business, but you're going to see it on all the accounts.
You're going to see it on ApeCoin. You're going to see it on Quanto.
And we'll let you guys print. Let's put it that way.
Oh, that's the magic words. That's the magic words.
Solana is stepping in to help Apes print.
I mean, we're getting the white glove service in the Solana.
What more could you ask for?
I I'm just one last.
We got a little bit, maybe this is going well.
The time is going great.
The guests are very responsive.
The answers are flowing.
If you guys are not taking notes, you guys will be able to listen back very easily.
Just another quick one.
Yeah, Kim. And just because when we look over at Solana for me, I get a sense of, yeah, there's a will be able to listen back very easily. Just another quick one, Yao Kim,
and just because when we look over at Solana,
for me, I get a sense of,
yeah, there's a lot of meme trading going on.
But because you actually have more than anecdotal evidence and data,
what is more typical for your platform?
Do you see that people are trading more of the meme coins
or are they going for more of the protocol tokens,
the other type of tokens?
I think any perps platform would probably agree with this.
You'll see the most volume occur on major pairs like ETH, Bitcoin, and Sol.
Since we're Sol native, we see most on Sol most of the time.
So a lot of volume flow that way.
And then there's the meme coin side, and that's relatively niche.
But if something is very popping, like hopefully eight, but in,
in the past it's been like graphite protocol or something.
And suddenly that's like for a week, really popular.
You see everyone try to trade that because it's not listed elsewhere.
Right. Cause we list so early. Yeah.
So I guess when people want to short some, it's only mainly when they want to
short, to be honest,
they're bearish on some meme coin that's 15 mil.
And they're like, let me short this to zero.
But a lot of volume is on majors.
I love it.
I love it.
So we're getting the white glove service from protocols like Quanto, where some of the biggest pairs are trading.
We got BD team on fire.
Simple PP. We got strategy. We'll buy me Spencer. I of the biggest pairs are trading. We got BD team on fire, Simple, PP.
We got Strategy with Bambi, Spencer.
I mean, the guys are cooking.
PP, we need more Alpha.
Now we're starting to get excited.
We got Grateful waving the magic wand.
We're hearing about incentives for apes.
I mean, what else?
What else, PP?
What else are we going to be able to do?
What else? Before that. Give me something else are we going to be able to do? What else?
Before that.
Give me something.
I'm going to let you finish.
I've got to give a shout out to Machi's office, by the way.
It's like this building full of very professional companies,
like Fortune 500 companies.
And then there's this whole floor of degenerate computer-glued nerds
just outperforming all those big companies.
It's just unreal.
Shout out to the whole office.
I appreciate that.
I'll send that over to Machi.
Yeah, I mean, Quanto's been a great partner.
I don't think that we've shared, you know, the full list of partners that are welcoming
ApeCoin on Solana.
But just to give a little bit of a sense of what's coming,
just as an example, you'll be able to send ApeCoin
with a simple tweet, and you'll be able to monetize
your opinions and beliefs on ApeCoin.
I'm sorry, on Solana platforms.
And you'll be able to borrow against your ApeCoin
and literally ape
into memes and these are just examples of the possibilities that open up with apecoin being on
solana so um a bunch of other partners i think that you guys will um get all of them i think
tomorrow that's when we're releasing all of them but yeah these are just a few of the exciting things that are happening
that's exciting pp man and i love that i know you have a huge huge uh apecoin back and you still haven't upgraded your setup and you're still hosting spaces from the basement man really
appreciate it because you don't want to spend it love Do I sound bad? Is that why? No, I love how you sound, man.
There's a little bit of echo, but it's great, man.
Don't change anything.
All right.
No, you sound beautiful. You sound excellent.
So we're going to be able to use ApeCoin to practice more DeFi, Solana, more volume, new pairs.
I mean, it sounds like an interesting opportunity
if folks have been holding their ApeCoin,
sort of sitting around waiting for something to do with it.
It sounds like we're opening up a whole new swimming pool full of fun.
Simple, I saw your hand shot up there.
You don't got to raise your hand on me.
This stage is for you.
This is ApeCoin raidscoin raids ape on solana with simple
farmer that's that's the the last part of the title that just didn't fit i appreciate that man
i'm the only one raising my hand i did i didn't have a lot to say a lot of thoughts and opinions
and i'm bullish on apecoin but hey just to put two and two together for folks people may have
mentioned something big right sending apecoin to other users with a tweet. This has never been possible
before and it'll be possible on day one of our Solana launch. And that's why I'm pleased to
announce that we have a partnership cooking with Banker. You guys might know Banker, big fan of
their protocol, big fan of what they do. And yeah, you're going to see something interesting
with that this week. So I've now heard Quanto.
I've heard Banker.
I don't think we talked about it here,
but I might have heard it on an earlier stage this morning.
I heard about Wallchain.
I mean, I heard about that.
I've definitely heard about that.
I've seen Rita was talking about it.
Don't give me that wide open mouth.
One of you guys, what's going on with
Wallchain?
can we give them a little bit of
what are we going to be able to do with the tweets?
do we tell them
so we're going to be able to trade money with tweets
because of Banker, but then
because of Wallchain, there's also
how does this
magic wizardry work?
simple, or PB
so the whole thing with Raid for raid for apecoin is that it's a
compounding circle these protocols these initiatives they will all work together to amplify trading
volume mind share user base for apecoin and so that's why this is going to be a winning strategy
right we're now in a new mindset the The mindset is perpetual winning machine for ApeCoin, right?
So going forward, and this is actually really big, really exciting news.
We are going to have an InfoFi campaign with Wallchain,
where if you tweet about ApeCoin and ApeCoin integrations on Solana,
there'll be a leaderboard where the top users on the leaderboard who are
bullposting about ApeCoin, talking about these integrations will qualify for a $100,000 Ape
reward that will be airdropped to users by Wallchain. And here's the sauce, board apes,
mutants, and people that hold 500 ApeCoin or more
are going to get a multiplier on our leaderboard.
Because this is about ApeCoin.
This is about the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
This is about the Mutant Ape Yacht Club.
We're all going to win together.
Bro, grateful just like...
I'm not even going to...
Oh my God, baby.
Yeah, I just checked the World Chain 7-Day leaderboard. Aqua on top, baby. Yeah, I just, you know, I just checked the World Chain,
7-day leaderboard.
Aqua on top, baby, you know.
Bruxelles, number one.
New leaderboard, Grateful.
Get ready to put in the work.
Oh, shit, man.
Come on, man.
You can rock me.
This is a good one.
This is a good one.
We don't have to switch anything, but I love it.
I love it.
New leaderboard, baby.
Oh, I flexed the heavy mic on you.
See, you got to get your mic up, Grateful.
You could have kept going, but you're not going to see us on that leaderboard.
We're going to have to get a side bet going.
We might have to use a predictions market or something to see.
Simple, you know about predictions markets, don't you?
We might need to see something about
grateful. We got Illa up here now too. We're talking about the Solana ecosystem. We're
talking about Bordace. We got the general here with us himself. Illa, appreciate you stepping
up and joining us here today. I know you've been listening in. I know you've been moving and
grooving around, making things happen for the club, making things happen the chain how are you feeling today are we bullish are we juiced
we excited how are you i'm i'm a little tired from traveling just jumped off the plane
had a hoodie on landed in fourth lauderdale got met with 100 degree with uh with immunity but
i'm extra bullish i I'm extra excited.
I'm so happy that we're spreading our degeneracy over the soul.
I've made a lot of money in the trenches.
And I feel like, you know, people forget that apes are some of the original degenerates.
And they feel like all apes are falling or all apes just chilling in our own bubble. But that's not so.
Like, some of the greatest traders and trenchers are apes.
Shout out to D-Train
and, of course, BitBoyJ.
And I see Coco down there.
I know Coco is excited about this shit.
You know what I'm saying?
So, yeah, man, it's a great day.
I feel like we're heading
in the right direction.
I'm super excited because we got people
like PP on board
on doing his thing that's somebody who is always sending me some of the craziest
in in in our own uh we have our own little cabal chat so i know he's always gonna be
i don't know about this cabal chat you guys leaving me out
is this a recorded space oh yo never mind never mind
hey if you want to add me to that that'd be great yeah let me get in there can i also get in
you know why you know why i talk about it now because you know like that was the glory days
of the trenches man hopefully like moves like this brings back the trenches like, that was the glory days of the trenches, man. Hopefully, like, moves like this
bring back the trenches, but, uh, that was the, that was the early days before, you know, the,
the other cabals came in and rinsed us off, but I, I made sure that I didn't give any of my soul back,
but now the ape is going over the soul, that soul, that soul treasury I got is in danger,
but I hope, I know know just from listening in i jumped
in like five minutes ago and i'm already hearing about dope shit like being able to send apes by
a phone by tweets you know the fact that i could jump in the other side send a coin by just
hitting f and interacting with somebody just shows how like far we ahead we are when it comes
to things like that it's just that i don't say that any team is better than anyone
or anything like that, but I just know that the more of us
actually participating on Chain and participating in degenerate ways
and fun ways on Chain is better for everybody that participates in Web3.
So I'm glad that we're throwing our hat into this game, man,
because we
D-Gen with the best of them.
I'm pretty sure they had to make up a whole new
word just to even try to compare
to what the fuck the Apes are doing. Because you Ape in,
you go Ape shit. I think they
made D-Gen up. I know Degeneracy
probably existed. I'm pretty sure they
made D-Gen up just to try to keep up with the fucking
Apes because we're going nuts over here.
Wabom said he felt like the second fiddle, but I think
we found like three or four extra
fiddles. Let's pick up our favorite
Aquamanis.
Jeez. Yo, shout out to the
community. Shout out to Apes. He said he's
out, bro. No, you're to HCC, he's out bro.
No you're not.
No, no, no, you're good man, you're good.
Yeah, there's three oranges here, you can't leave bro, we got ratio.
Go ahead Grateful, pick us up.
Yeah, I wanted to ask you about like 30 minutes ago but you know people started showing up
and yeah okay okay okay, let's go for the question.
So what does this expansion actually mean for founders using ApeCoin?
That's the alpha, right?
We have so many founders here in the audience on stage.
So let's go, man.
Yeah, it just means more.
More opportunities, more protocols to work with, more friends, more product market fit.
I'm going to borrow a number from our resident statistician,
Simple Farmer, from our call earlier. We've got around 600,000 to 700,000 users between
Arbitrum, ApeChain, our current ecosystem, but there's five times that on Solana.
on Solana. So we're unlocking opportunities, we're unlocking new users for founders,
So we're unlocking opportunities, we're unlocking new users for founders,
you know, new partners to work with, and we're making ApeCoin as easy to use as possible.
What's bullish for ApeCoin is bullish for ApeChain. The ApeCoin price increases,
as the ApeCoin price increases through initiatives like Project Raid,
and through this expansion, the value of every asset on ApeCh price increases through initiatives like Project Raid and through this expansion,
the value of every asset on Apechain goes up.
So it's hugely bullish for Apechain.
It's hugely bullish for founders.
And we're just getting started here with this Solana integration.
Well, Bob sounds awake. Are you sure that there was just a wedding and there's kids involved?
Because you sound bullish as hell right now. You got a lot of energy, bro. I'm a new man, bro. I'm a new man.
Let's go. New me, son, life. Congratulations. Appreciate you spending time with us up here
today. We're coming up to the end of the Ape on Solana raid portion. We're going to start looking
at the other side. I promise you there's no reason these two topics have been paired. I'm not cooking anything. Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not. I don't know. I'm not
going to tell you. Well, Bob, you just sounded so bullish. We're going to turn. Is Pedro still here?
Pedro had a pop-up. This is even better. Well, Bob, is there anything you want to share with us
that maybe we didn't get a chance to hear? We didn't get a chance to hear a ton from you today.
So is there anything that you wanted to share that maybe people don't know about, something
you've been keeping close to the chat, maybe something you're just excited about,
your most bullish insights and desires, anything you want to share before we get moving on to the
next section? Just doubling down on what I said, we're incredibly excited about Solana. There's a
reason that Solana is the first deployment we're doing here on Project Raid, but there's more to
come. We've given out all the alpha on this call today that we're going to give out,
so I can't leak anything else beyond that,
but it's going to be a really exciting next couple months.
Get ready.
Hold on to your butts.
Hold on to your butts.
Will somebody make a meme?
Will somebody just make a meme of Wabam
holding on to his cute little ape butt right now?
Somebody, um,
I just can't say butt without the cute in front.
I don't know.
There's something about butt.
It's just, I'm just, I'm just cute.
It's a cute little butt.
Anyway, it's simple.
You better quit with that hand, bro.
I see it every time.
I've got Hawkeyes for spaces, bro.
I do these.
I saw that hand.
What you got?
What you got?
What you got?
Yeah, I just want to shout out the whole ApeCo team and leadership at Yuga Labs as well.
You know, this plan, everything with RAID, it represents a narrative and a strategy for ApeCoin that we haven't had before.
Put it simply, you know, under the previous structure, it was kind of like having hundreds of coaches trying to push the direction of the token.
Now we have a single unified strategy and we're executing that strategy at a high level.
So I just want to shout out people like Wabam, Cam, Garga, of course, for helping make this happen, man.
We're super excited to execute and you're going to see a lot of ApeCoin on your timeline this week.
I just want to say that.
And I have Alpha I can leak at the end too. Holy shit, man. Should we expect anything for ApeCoin on your timeline this week. I just want to say that. And I have Alpha I can leak at the end, too.
Holy shit, man.
Should we expect anything for ApeFest, guys?
I didn't want to
ask, but I have to. You're going to get me
fired, Grateful. What the fuck?
Oh, no, no.
Of course not.
I forgot to sign the NDA.
It's going to be a quiet weekend with some friends.
That's all.
Nothing major.
I could hear the smirk on Cam's face when he said that.
There was Alpha in that smirk.
There was Alpha there.
I heard that smirk.
If you didn't hear it, I heard it.
I'm telling you, I'm doxing the smirk.
Did you throw a hand up?
I'll see you.
I was going to say I'll see you guys at Hooters at Ape Fest.
Just my wings is on me.
He's only saying that because we're orange. He's only saying that because we're orange.
All right. We got a lot of stuff coming up here in the Solana ecosystem.
Spencer, you're the man with the plan. You're the man with all the accounts.
You know where things are at. Where should people go to get started?
to get started how do they find out more how do they how do they get prepared to get started on
How do they find out more? How do they get prepared to get started on Solana?
Solana yeah so first of all in terms of like housekeeping remember official accounts for
announcements you see random CAs pop-up stuff like that doesn't count right official accounts
from us we'll give you the CA when it's ready we'll let you know when we're up and live on Solana. You can follow
ApeCoin accounts, all the Ape accounts for integration announcements, CA announcements,
when you can go on, where you can go. Trust that. That's going to be the place.
Once we get to day one here, you're going to be able to, if you need to get more ApeCoin,
Once we get to day one here, you're going to be able to, if you need to get more ApeCoin, which I think we all do, you're going to be able to get ApeCoin on every major Solana decks.
You know, whether you like planets or aquatic life or whatever it is, we're going to have you covered there.
You're going to be able to bridge, if you want to bridge your ApeCoin between ApeChain, Arbitrum, Ethereum, Solana.
All of our major bridging partners are going to be supporting us. Stargate, which we love,
obviously, is going to be there. Relay, Jumper, a number of others that are going to come through
announcements. There's one I'm actually not sure if we can announce it. Simple, you might know.
So, you know, it's going to be easier than ever before to get 8point, to trade it, to bridge it, to move it between.
And, yeah, you know, follow us for more.
Any of the official accounts, anybody from the 8point team, anybody from the official 8point accounts, you know, obviously, Apeco, Uvacite, et cetera.
Those are the places to trust. And yeah, I mean,
we're going to be all over the Solana ecosystem from day one. You'll start to see those announcements
coming out here in the next couple of days. I think it's like almost 20 different protocols
between everything that you're going to be able to either get ApeCoin, bridge ApeCoin, use ApeCoin.
You know, I know, Simple, you and I have talked about this a lot.
We're not interested in building bridges to nowhere.
We're interested in building bridges to places where we're going to be able to use ApeCoin,
increase the utility of ApeCoin, increase the audience of ApeCoin.
It's all happening right out of the gate.
Yes, sir. And, you know, there's a big point here. There's
something that shouldn't be lost. And it's actually two things. First, ApeCoin existing
on multiple chains, especially high volume chains, is actually going to lead to slight differences
in the price on the different chains as buy pressure comes in or any type of pressure,
chains as buy pressure comes in or any type of pressure, to be honest. What this is going to
lead to is people arbitraging on the price of ApeCoin between the different chains. Now,
this is important. Arbitrage is, of course, a great rev source, but it's also a fantastic
source of volume. So the existence of ApeCoin on Solana, for example, is actually going to lead to increases in trading volume
of ApeCoin, both on Arbitrum, on ApeChain, and on Ethereum. And so this is important. Now,
you as the user, as the holder of ApeCoin, when you LP your ApeCoin paired with, for example,
Sol on Meteora, you're going to benefit from more profits, more revenue, more yields that comes from this increased trading volume.
And you might be thinking,
okay, so we're moving to different chains,
but how are we doing it, right?
Are we taking liquidity away from one chain
and putting it on this different chain?
The answer is no.
We're taking fresh liquidity.
We're not doing any type of raise.
We're just taking liquidity
and adding it as a pair to ApeCoin on Solana
to the tune of over a million dollars.
So this new liquidity that is now backing ApeCoin and will be backing ApeCoin on Solana
is actually actually represents a stronger sell wall for the token. It reflects more sell pressure
that can be absorbed for the token. So for those who are familiar with LP,
adding sell side liquidity to a token is actually a more bullish maneuver than straight up token buybacks. And that is exactly what we're doing for ApeCoin with Raid here.
The timeline is picking up what you guys are putting down. I'm seeing some of the most
bullish action on the timeline that I've seen from non-apes, from apes in quite some time and from some key accounts,
bullish on what you guys are putting down. I love to see it. I appreciate you guys joining us for
the first segment. It's not over. The space is not over. Just getting started. We are looking
at an other side segment here. So if you guys are interested in the future of ApeCoin,
you guys are interested in the future of other side,
the Ape ecosystem, definitely stay tuned.
We do have just a quick roundup here on this segment, though,
before we look at talking about the other side.
Oh, did Cam?
Cam dipped out.
All right, perfect.
That makes my decision all the easier here.
We'll go to Simple for this one.
Simple, we're expanding to Solana.
We've heard it a few times.
We're expanding to Solana first.
That's a key word.
There's a key term there.
So we're not just expanding to Solana.
We love Solana and we're expanding there first.
Beautiful partners.
Welcome arms.
We're getting the white glove treatment.
But give us the alpha.
What are some of the next stops?
I mean, I think we've talked about some of the protocols.
What are my first stops?
Well, I think so.
One of the favorites for people who are TradFi users, you know, high-end users like PP Man here, whales, extremely wealthy people like PP Man is Hyperliquid.
So I want to let you guys know
that we have bought the ticker APE on Hyper EVM and Core, we will be going there. You know, APE
coin, we're just going to do a lot of shit that makes sense. And that's why I think the RAID
acronym, there's a secondary acronym that applies to RAID. And the acronym is BFD. It's a big
fucking deal. And, you know, atD. It's a big fucking deal.
And, you know, at the end of the day,
everybody will get the price that they deserve.
But the thing that I'm most excited for is the huge number of new users
we're going to have for ApeCoin,
the huge number of new holders.
And yeah, we're going to have several steps
in that direction.
The next step after this is going to be Hyperliquid.
And again, 20 protocols announcing integrations of ApeCoin on Solana this week.
20 protocols.
We're going to continue to do that throughout RAID.
And you guys, as the holders of ApeCoin, and of course, even if you're just a holder of a bored Ape or a mutant, if you want to re-enter the ape coin ecosystem you will be getting a
special multiplier for tweeting about all these integrations and deployments
you'll even get points just for sending somebody else ape coin through Twitter
using banker
bullish absolutely bullish if you guys aren't taking notes if you guys aren't
paying attention this is not happening attention, this is not happening next month. This is not happening next year. We're not waiting until we get a placement on the Las Vegas sphere. We will be in Las Vegas in October, but we will not be waiting that long to expand our ecosystem. This is happening sooner than soon. Soon's not even the right word. This is happening this week. This is happening this week.
This is the,
this is where I'm inviting up other,
other space,
other side-ins,
the Voyagers.
we're getting,
a rift has opened in the clouds
and the portal is wide.
And here come James and Figgy
and the other side crew.
Spencer, Illa,
I appreciate you guys joining us
and pitching in, tuning in for the Raid conversation.
You guys are definitely welcome to stay tuned
for the other side chat,
but we will turn our focus here towards Figgy and James
and towards the other side.
PeePee, you're ever-present.
You're everywhere.
Are you even muted?
I see that you're muted. You're muted did you were you did you want to jump in he's just over there he's probably
already hacking soul he's trying to figure something he's trying to break it lost i'd like
to i'd like to give a shout out to to the other side and the whole team with yuga and what they've
built with the other side it's's an exceptional, exceptional utility,
exceptional home for ApeCoin, an exceptional use case. I'm so excited for the things in the future
that are going to be coming out there. And I did just want to clarify just so for people who didn't
hear, starting tomorrow up until ApeFest, there is 100,000 Ape, that 100,000 ApeCoin that is going to be airdropped
to the top users
the top people on X
who are tweeting about ApeCoin
and Ape integrations
for example starting with Solana
so thank you guys so much
I appreciate you guys
ApeCoin on top
the ticker is Ape
oh go ahead PB
there you are finally
finally mic problems all day yeah I think that The ticker is APE. Oh, go ahead, PB. There you are, finally.
Finally, mic problems all day.
Yeah, I think that it's clear that we're expanding ApeCoin's audience and presence.
Whether it's like doing simple stuff like, you know, sending ApeCoin on a tweet or using ApeCoin as collateral to trade pervs.
I'm going to put you on the spotlight.
Simple DMs are open. My DMs arems are open any questions we'll be around hope you guys heard that because like my
mic has been horrible all day did you guys we heard you buddy we just we just no one no one
knew what to say no one knew yours it was so eloquent and so well said we were just all stunned oh come on what's up what's up ella ella me and you we're
gonna have some conversations about some stuff you're talking about on spaces buddy there's some
some chats you're talking about and that's what we're talking about how's everyone doing this
morning anyways anyways how's everyone doing oh man doing? Anyways, how's everyone doing?
Oh man, doing so, so great after this chat.
I want to say one more thing and that's I love winning.
And I think we will win and we already winning and everything is getting so much better.
So really bullish on the team here, really bullish on people in the audience
because we have so many legends here and everyone's excited about what's happening in the ecosystem so let's fucking go guys i'm so hyped it's crazy i can't even sleep
you know i don't know what's going on but it's gonna be hyped hype end of the year and and
you know everything what's happening is so bullish for me so let's fucking go lost are you also
lost disappear he was like dead aquamarine mf and he's gone. I got it. I got it
Pressure is privilege as figgy said right in his interview. So lost was that too much pressure for you or you back
No, I'm pressuring my devices to the to the full extent that I can and they're loving it and I'm loving it
We want to make sure I'm coming in crystal clear for this segment though. I
Think we got a few other there. We want to make sure I'm coming in crystal clear for this segment, though. I think we got a few other.
There we go.
There goes Honey Bee.
There might be one or two other.
These other game guys, I know they're not playing games.
This is Twitter.
I'm not going to put it on them.
We're juggling to get them up here with us as well, but we do have, along with our wonderful directors and developers and engineers of the other side, we've also got some of the directors, developers, and engineers of the games, of the other side games on the other side. So we
are going to dive straight into this other side segment. We're not going to play any music. There's
going to be no cute elevator transition. We're just getting straight into it. Figgy, appreciate
you taking time out of your week, out of your day. It's Monday, right? This isn't Friday. I appreciate
you coming here straight at the top of the week to join us for the conversation updates for the
community. And James, I appreciate you coming out too. You guys are just ever present, it seems like,
these days. If you guys are in the other side, Figgy just lives on that rock. I don't know how,
actually, I might know how he does, but I'm going to just say, I don't know how he does. He's just
always on that rock. Sometimes he's doing emojis.
Sometimes he'll pop in on you if you're breaking something.
And I mean, he's just an ever-present, ever-watchful eye of Figgy on the other side.
It's becoming quite an interesting bit of lore.
And James, if you guys are not following James, you guys, you're fucking up.
All right?
I haven't swore a lot during this space.
It wasn't intentional.
I was just vibing.
But I'm swearing for this one.
If you guys aren't following James, and especially if you're in this space,
not just this space, the Twitter space, but in the crypto space,
you're fucking up.
This is a great dude.
This is a nice guy.
This is a sharp character.
This is someone who would happily help you.
But this is also our godfather.
He's one of the innovators of IP alongside one of the devs.
So special guest,
James, appreciate you for being here with us. Why are we switching topics from Solana to the other
side? There's no alpha. There is absolutely no reason these topics are paired together,
maybe, potentially. However, ApeCoin is the currency driving the other side. Don't forget that.
It's right in the bio. Bored Ape Yacht Club, Ape Chain, and other side. It's looking at you right
in the face every day if you've missed it. So we're going to learn a little bit more about the
vision and the future of the other side from some of the folks who are building it and working on
it every day. Figgy, again, thanks for being...
And if you guys missed it, by the way,
Figgy just put out a great interview.
It was with the Ourselves podcast crew.
They're on YouTube.
It's literally just like that if you want to Google it.
Ourselves podcast.
It's about an hour and a half.
Strong insights.
Just going into Figgy's experience as a creative force,
not only in crypto, but in pop culture.
And I'm going to do my best to not reiterate that interview here.
I think it would be impossible.
It was actually, it was a nice interview.
So go and check that out if you missed it.
But just breaking the ice, I'm going to keep it simple.
That was a lot from me, Figgy.
And I know nobody's expecting this.
I know nobody's expecting this as the first question,
especially after everything that we just went to.
But what's your favorite game?
Figgy, I don't know if I missed this on on another space or another interview i don't know if i if i'm forgetting
it but and anything old school console mobile desktop any board game what's your favorite
game figgy damn that's a hell of a pivot i thought we were gonna be talking about solana defi and how
it relates to okay that's cool though a game you know i feel like there's arrows
right um i'm probably gonna date myself here but it's okay i know all of you are like old as
too so like the first game that i really played a lot was link's awakening on uh on game boy and i
was pretty pretty into that but uh afterwards it'd be like you know ff7 and then starfox 64 man i'm really
dating myself um ocarina of time was really big for me so i played a bunch of games growing up but
probably the one that i played to this day that's like more than all those combined is league of
legends this is a this is a story This is a storytelling gamer
in case you guys didn't...
All of those games are extremely rooted
in storytelling, multiple
iterations, multiple... I think you said
Final Fantasy VII, if that just gives you
a sense of the... Yeah, actually, all of those
are really deep in story and
going through Last of Us and all of those
more cinematic
push-a-button, hear-piece-of- story i think all of those are like actually a new form of cinema
but yeah league was more for work i worked on league of legends stuff uh worlds specifically
which is their big championship for about seven years and i always told myself that I was gaming because it had to do with work but I think that was just a rush
a rationalization I think I just really like playing that loop so um yeah story story is the
big thing though I think it bonds all of us I think it's the reason why a lot of people
you know connect with any kind of art and I I do think like video games are a type of art um and i i think
that's the reason why you are looking forward to like future games that come out there's just a
great story associated with it but i think also a newer trend is more like what's your story like
there's a hundred thousand stories out there what's your story and people being able to make
their own is something that we've seen
and it's certainly in line with
what you're seeing in
Metaverse or Web2 platforms too.
I love it.
I love it.
Games are stories.
What's your story?
This feels especially relevant.
I'm actually not
I'm not too bad at doing these things.
The first question, very deliberate.
So I did just a small touch of research. I did just the smallest little bit of research. I'm actually not too bad at doing these things. The first question, very deliberate.
And so I did just a small touch of research.
I did just the smallest little bit of research.
I don't want to get too far ahead of anybody.
I'm here to learn just like the rest of you.
But I Googled, and I've been paying attention to the conversation on the timeline.
But I Googled, what is Roblox?
Just to get the definition.
I didn't want to hear it from a kid.
I didn't want to hear it from somebody else. And it's listed as an online platform and a game creation system where users can play games created by other users and create their own.
So it's not a game. Garga told us Other Side is a Roblox killer and it's powered by ApeCoin.
Roblox is an online platform and game creation system where users can play games created
by other users. So Other Side is not a game. You're not sending me on a quest with a Coda
wizard to fight a mushroom dragon. What is the Other Side? What could the Other Side be?
Yeah, I mean, this is something that the space gets a lot so just some background you know i was
other side meant happened even before i joined at yuga and i i was somebody who really really bought
into it and built around it and believe in it so that's i would say before we even get into like
comparisons and roblox like whatever we build has to acknowledge and drive a lot of interest and a lot of affinity towards the other
deeds. Like that's super important. And even though that, that is like a really long pole,
it's really important that all of those things, you know, like there's, there's a lot of experts
and I've talked with most of the big holders. If you're a big other side holder and you haven't
talked to me, please reach out. But, um, most of them have gotten a call or multiple calls from me because I definitely want
everybody to know and feel like that is not lost on the team here,
that everything has to start with the other deeds. But when you you look at okay we're collecting artifacts and sediment and
um you know there's there's all these different attributes on each of the other deeds
and what what can those participate in if not you know a giant competitive
like other side resource game right like that's definitely something that's going to be a big thing.
We've already like framed that up in the June post that that's,
that's like a 2026 goal.
But for us right now, it's also like that games themselves.
And even though I talk about playing a bunch of them and I have history
working on a bunch of very big ones, they can have very binary outcomes.
You could be at the top of the App Store list,
but the amount that those top apps spend on UA,
the outcome becomes very binary.
And what we're building here is kind of bigger than that
because what if you want to be an other side,
but you're not inherently a gamer? I'm actually like, pretty surprised when I turned the question around on people who collect other deeds, and I go, so what what games are you playing
right now? And I mean, a lot of them will say, like, I'm too old, I can't, like, really throw
myself at games and stuff. There's definitely people who who can but i actually think there's a bigger
bigger total addressable market you know like the comps right now for metaverse activations are like
decentraland sandbox facebook horizon and those daily and monthly active users like i think once
we get other side like all the main features online, like we, we are going to be far superior as a
product compared to that stuff. And that's bullish for ApeCoin because ApeCoin is the coin of the
realm, right? Like that's, everything is paired with Ape and other side, everything's powered by
Ape and other side. So I think we actually look at those market caps and we become extremely
competitive, if not, hopefully fly past, because I think the bigger fish to
fry are in the Roblox Fortnite Minecraft worlds. And, you know, we're, we're pretty level headed,
like we're not delusional about like how much of a network effect those platforms have, but they're
also incumbent platforms. And some people say that in frame
of mind to say like, oh, they're so big. You can't really like, you can't take on somebody that's
that big. But I flip it and I go like, no, when you're that big, it's hard to turn. It's really
tricky to adjust. And a newcomer can come in with a new point of view and actually do some significant seizing of market share.
And doesn't even need, like for our goals, like, look, if you Google right now what's Roblox's market cap, it's a little under $100 billion.
They did $3.5 billion in revenue last year.
We don't need to be that overnight.
That's actually like a great goal to hit. Like,
of course, you know, other side hitting three and a half billion in revenue. That's great.
But even if you take 1% of that, you'd already be like a fraction of a percent of that. You'd be a
top crypto app in terms of revenue, right? Like 1% of that would make it probably the main app on crypto.
So I actually think that when we say Roblox, it's actually just a way for people to be able to grok like the direction that we're going towards these things.
But, you know, we are building, we want people to bring their brand, their
characters, their digital objects, and then they can use the rails, the infrastructure,
and all the people that are involved in OtherSide. And so you could basically build your brand on
OtherSide and get reach from that. We're seeing that with Tess right now. GZonApe is like GZon
Top, right? GZonApe is a really great community within the Ape Chain community. And they are able to just put their avatars into other side and do these kind of like
community activations, community events without having to coordinate with Yuga or Ape Coin
or Ape Chain.
Like they can just kind of like do their own thing and take more control of their destiny.
So all the money that we've been investing into the platform,
that's something that like every community can amortize.
Like every community can throw events or gatherings,
get togethers and do it in a themed way on other side
without deploying as much capital as we've had to do.
So like that's one of the main things.
Everybody can win on other side.
Yes, when you look at like,
hey, there's gonna be a game portion of it because I'm collecting all of these other deeds and they have rarities and
there's resources. Like, of course, of course there has to be that there has to be that,
but there's also more than that. We have to be able to let anybody build whatever they want
because, um, you know, we, we can get into it, but like you actually look at
the amount of money we've deployed on a feature like Bubbles as opposed to a Project Dragon, for instance.
And Bubbles is like pound for pound.
It's got so much use because it's so open-ended.
There isn't really a game loop to Bubbles.
And if you guys don't know what Bubbles are, if this is your first time hearing about OtherSide, Bubbles is basically what we're doing here.
It's like a Twitter space doing here it's it's like
a twitter spaces except it's in like full-on 3d so you can see everybody else's avatar and
unless you do it you don't realize like how different it can feel than this twitter spaces
because like when i'm looking at this twitter spaces i could see like maybe 12 static pfps
on this twitter space and i know there's like hundreds of people in here,
but I can't get a sense of that.
So I would say like, if you haven't tried bubbles,
write this down, go to launch.otherside.xyz
and just go today
and somebody's gonna be doing a bubbles at some point.
You can just join any public bubble.
You could start your own
and you'll see how different it feels from what this experience
And you don't really lose the reach.
You can, what you can do is you can do a bubble and you can stream it out to Twitter
if you want to.
We have something called deep linking, which allows you to link directly into somebody's
bubble so they can join directly into your conversation from other side.
That makes Twitter this kind of like big top of funnel for other side.
So there's a lot going on.
I know your question was more brief than that,
which is, you know, other side as a game,
how does it relate to Roblox, why are we saying the Roblox thing?
But there's a lot to go around that.
I think it's a place where every community can win.
Yeah, it was a total setup question.
I had a hint.
I had a tip from PP.
He said, just ask open-ended questions.
So just like we have these open-ended experiences, open-ended question.
What is the other side?
And I think you ran with it.
I saw a lot of positive response from the crowd there.
And hopefully you guys are taking notes.
Figui, I wanted to ask,
you mentioned that big holders can DM you.
What does it mean, big holder?
Can you give us the number?
Yeah, it's not even about big
as in like the size that they hold.
Certainly, you know,
you've got folks stepping in
like an Adam Weitzman
who's really amazing
and a huge proponent of the system
and, you know, goes and buys millions of dollars worth of other deeds, thousands and thousands of
them. But I also think that there's a lot of people in the community that have always rooted
for other side that have been like all the way through the build process. I hope they don't mind me shouting them out,
but you know, like,
I look at a guy like Willie Anderson
or Vic or David Unsung
and like all of these people,
they're the ones trading the deeds day to day.
They look at Other Side Wiki by Frosties.
They look at,
and I see all of these people
and their contributions
as like people
that i need to be talking with regularly other games people like you know other games they do
events every every weekend and you can go and by the way this weekend i was looking at the
engagement like it was the biggest other games ever and each each weekend seems to be the biggest
if you if you haven't heard of other games get connected because it's a pretty cool way you can get on other side it's like it's 90
around 90 minutes maybe a little bit longer than that but like you win real ape coin in a social
context they do these games it's kind of like squid games but it's on other side and you can
win bags of ape coin just for being a part of it.
And you can meet a lot of other really interesting people too. I actually think other side puts the
social back in social networks. I don't, I don't actually think like when you really look at the
Twitter timeline, it isn't social in the way the internet used to be. I think you can walk into
other side. You could try it tonight or whatever. Just go, go into launch.oftheside.xyz and you can
strike up a conversation with somebody that you don't like a stranger that you don't know and you
could really get to know him i don't think you can really do that on twitter outside of spaces is
pretty social right but like the timeline on twitter is not so it's default state is more
like a news feed and i think other side is more way way way more social than that
oh i 100 agree man and the feeling in the bubbles is way more social than that. I 100% agree, man.
And the feeling in the bubbles is different
and for me so much better to see all my friends there.
And I associate all of you guys with your PFP
because I know you as that.
And it's really amazing.
And big shout out to other games too
because guys, you are doing such a great job.
It's so much fun.
And also I can't believe I won 10 out of nine other games already.
So that's unbelievable.
But Figi, I wanted to ask you,
why does it matter if a virtual universe
where I interact with my friends
using customizable avatar and virtual currencies
exists on chain or not?
The question seems to answer itself for us
and for people that care
about the ethos of crypto,
but for everyone else, you know,
the people that we want to onboard
into other sites.
Yeah, it's a really good question.
I mean, like what needs to be on chain
versus not for it to be considered on chain
is one question.
And I think like anytime there's an asset that you want to be able to use the rest of crypto rails on you should be
like i don't think you need to record everybody's like individual footsteps on chain we have that
ability if you want to you can wire that up but i just i don't understand why you would it's not as
clear to me to normal people but if you if you do a quest or an adventure or other games,
and another thing is like Other Page, for instance.
Other Page is somebody that's been building with us
throughout the bear.
And if you go to Other.page, you can set up your profile.
They enable glyph wallets, so they're totally
tied into Ape Chain infrastructure. And it's like an identity layer for what you do. And you're able
to display all your badges. All those badges are achievements, they prove that you were there,
they could have been earned. And a lot of that could actually be tapped into crypto rails in
the future, right? So I think anything that you would want to be able to
trade, to be able to borrow against all of that stuff or delegate, all of that stuff has to be
on crypto rails. But just to be okay, so like all of that is like Web3 nerd jargon, right? Like
normal people don't understand anything I just said. What I boil the novelty down to is something different.
You going into an experience and coming out with a digital asset, whether it's a
Web 2 asset that's in somebody's SQL server, or whether it's a Web 3 asset that's an actual token,
you doing something to go get that as a reward is not a novel mechanic. That does not make a metaverse.
I think the thing that is interesting about other side is that the things you show up
with, you could have acquired years ago.
You could have acquired them off platform, right?
Like if you collected other deeds or CODAs or Gs or all of that stuff, all of that stuff
was acquired through some other means before the platform was even
fully released. Right. And no other platform can really do that. You need to be on a blockchain.
Like Roblox can't acknowledge a digital asset that you got off platform years before Roblox
existed. It's just not possible. And so that's what you can do here. You can basically look at
things that people, here's a PO app that somebody got in 2021. That can mean something here. I can
get an experience for you here, right? Like that's the type of stuff that I think people are going to
be able to play with. And because it's all on chain, we can look at your total recorded history,
any asset you've ever gotten in history of the blockchain,
and we can attach meaning to that. That is not something that other platforms can do. And I think like really finding ways to build story around those assets, ways to come up with new
meaning for them. So like right now in the clubhouse,
like you could get in the clubhouse if you are an ape or a mutant, right? Like those token
gating facilities, all of that stuff is unique really to blockchain metaverses. And I think
that is going to be part of the new perspective that we offer against the traditional incumbents.
So I think it's all going to be important because
you know, we, I don't know how many of you were around for second trip, but there were a lot of
people playing on second trip. And then one of the, like one of the prizes that was given out
was a winged helmet, right? For a Voyager. And there's a finite amount of them. And once those
were given out, there was, they were trading at a certain market cap.
And what, one of the things I noticed was the market cap that the winged helmets were
trading at.
If you took like, you know, the lowest floor price and you multiplied it by the quantity,
it actually exceeded the budget that we had set up to build Second Trip to begin with,
which I think is like a really wild financialization of like memory and shared
experience. I think we can kind of see more people investigating that space in the future.
Anyway, this can get very abstract, but I think like the main thing here is you're going to be
able to attach your digital assets or give things out on crypto rails and people can compose them wherever they want and continue to add meaning.
I think it'll make CTOs even more powerful too.
Like communities that haven't really been able to get traction in a while,
they'll probably be able to like be born again in other side.
So bullish, man.
I absolutely love to hear that.
And I'm in touch with many builders in the space
and everyone's so excited about our site you know they don't share details with me i don't know why
but the guy who got odk they are like man you need to get more deets so that's what i'm trying
to do and by the way i see guys from other games here yes i wanted helmet too guys it was incredible
experience i absolutely love that and i have it recorded on video so i
can share it after the space so lost i saw i'm muted go ahead man grateful wins everything in
case you guys didn't know that's a little bit of lore for you that i don't know how he does it when
there's orange backgrounds in the same competition i don't know how he's winning a damn thing but i'll
give it to him the guy's fucking winning every game week after week he's fucking he's pulling it
off pull up in the other games if you want to give some competition to grateful and damn figgy's call to action is strong a f somebody
just pinged the account and they just opened up their bubble in the other side look figgy's in
the other side right now he's literally sitting on the rock i can see he's doxxed he's exposed
by the screenshot from the person that just opened their bubble after he asked he's literally
in the screen he's living in there he's he's living in this place. It's insane. And I love the abstract
answers. We've got like 400 people in here. Definitely make sure you guys like, retweet
the room. We'll be here for about another half hour or so. So we still got some more insights
and information to come. Do feel free to share the room. I'm looking through the stage. This is
the core community. These are the folks that would love to sit in a room
and listen to you, you know,
just ideate and brainstorm all day, Figgy.
So definitely you're here among the apes.
You're here among the DGens.
You're here among the friends.
And maybe for some folks that haven't been paying
as much attention to everything that's been going on
into the other side.
And I don't know, maybe there's an alpha leak here.
Maybe there's not, it's up to you. But what are some some of the things what are some of the developments here that you're the most
excited about in the other side that people might have missed if they haven't been jumping in over
the last i don't know three to six months since we broke the world record for the most concurrent
players in a fpf battle i mean no big deal but since then you know if people have missed out
what what are some of the most exciting things on your radar?
There's been a lot going on.
So if you haven't tried it, I know I keep shilling it, but it bears repeating.
You can go into OtherSide right now, at least a piece of it.
You can go into the swamp at launch.otherside.xyz.
And you can run it in your browser.
It actually looks a lot better if you don't.
It looks a lot better if you actually download the client.
There's two options on the website.
And you can meet like a lot of people and see what they're doing.
You can explore the worlds that are open right now.
So that the fact that it's always on and we're able to test things, you know, not weekly, but daily, that makes a huge difference
towards how we steer development, which features get prioritized and not, right? Like that starts
to give our team information already. And, you know, one of the big things was on mutant birthday,
we rolled out the mutants. Shout out to Rita, who's been a big builder, a big contributor.
And we also rolled out Rita's, you know, geez, as avatar.
So like you're starting to see a lot more avatars come in and pretty soon,
sooner than you think,
we'll probably have avatar documentation go out and start opening this up even
wider to see how we can start to break that.
All of that kind of takes, it pulls up the work that needs to be done because I think
a lot of folks were just waiting for a persistent version of it so that they could start experimenting.
There's a version of that up right now.
We haven't shown most of the stuff that we've been working on.
Like all of that stuff is still in the hopper.
It's expansive.
We hope that it will give people a lot to play with once all of that stuff comes online.
But I would encourage everybody to come out and see what Other Side is about right now
and be a part of that conversation.
If you're going to park one of your tabs on Twitter,
you might as well park one of your tabs on other side.
And other things that I think are really important headlines
are Von Doom, put some respect on his name,
Von Doom and Command Line.
They came out with Bathroom Blitz,
which is basically a deathmatch game
that takes place in the Board 8 bathroom.
We've got another activation that's right about to come out.
I don't want to give away too much of a date and time for that just yet,
but let's just say it's very soon.
And that other activation is called Other Side Outbreak.
And that's, again, something that Yuga did not build.
That's somebody else built that
using the ODK. And we've got a couple of communities building. I would say one of the
ones that's really interesting that you guys should poke around on is something that Marcel
and team are working on called Primal Instinct. And it looks like a really interesting, there's a huge, there's a huge, huge, like Russian community in other side.
And like these guys have just been building this thing.
And if you're not paying attention to it, you should.
Because I think it's a really cool take on what you could do with the other side assets.
Another thing that people should know about is we've spent all this time and money making all of these different environments,
all of these different assets. And we are actually turning those over to the community. If you've
seen some of the work that 369 has been doing, he's actually taking those assets and folding
them into a design he was already working on. All that does is make everything a little bit more
like congruent. It makes it look like it's all, oh, this is all cohesive. This is all the world of other side. And so by passing along nearly a thousand assets that we've built and
spent a lot of time and money on, we are hoping again, that builders are able to amortize
all of their, like all of the stuff that we've spent money on to help accelerate their building.
So there's, there's a lot of like non-yuga builders building there's
stuff like other games happening there's people giving out badges for other page other side wiki
is you know tracing all the statistics around all of this um i know i'm gonna forget some builders
i should give out one last shout out because it is, I think, the quietest, but one of the coolest things that's happening on the side right now.
But Rax's Blunts.
So Rax is an OG in the BYC community.
He just came out with this NFT called Rax Blunts.
And you basically can go around another side and you can pass the blunt.
And so people pass each other blunts and each time you pass it around it
racks up points and if you don't know what that's all about just jump into other side these things
are going to change over time it's like a full-on dynamic nft collection that uses just the most
basic feature that we really which is like you could just send nft to people. You could send ApeCoin, you could send NFTs.
So there's a lot that's going on that gives you hints at what can happen in the future.
I think all of this is just a lot of storytelling and a lot of utility that pours its way towards ApeCoin and ApeChain.
Like that's every time we onboard somebody to other side, we are onboarding them, not just to crypto, but specifically we are onboarding them to the ApeCoin and ApeChain
community. So I think all of the dollars we spend in the future on user acquisition are not just
for other side. People are going to be onboarded to crypto, hopefully without even knowing it.
Like that's one of our goals. And you've seen the
work that people, you know, James has been doing great work with Glyph, for instance, and there's
other really strong folks on our team. I don't know if they want me to shout them out, but there's
the whole Glyph team. I'll probably post about them later, but they're just pushing on this. It used
to be called Yuga ID. It was a way for you to sign in with a wallet using your Gmail or your Twitter.
But now we've basically made that the front way to load into other side.
And that's what makes everything so there's no installing a wallet plugin.
There's no signing a bunch of stuff.
You can just, if you say, hey, I want to send this person like 50 ApeCoin, you could just send it.
And it just goes.
You don't know anything about gas, so it's very, very normie friendly.
What we need to do is get the other side platform to a place that drives attention and value back into this ecosystem.
Because then I think you see ApeCoin win, ApeChain win, other deed holders win, Coda owners win. And when's there, that stuff just passes into the entire space. That's
where we really want to go to. And we can't do it alone. We really can't. That's why we are
opening up all of these tools. That's why we have folks like other games stepping up because we can each pick up a shovel
and be a part of this thing. And that open-endedness is really what's going to make us more
competitive and start to take market share out of... By the way, guys, Roblox just did their
update. They just had their Roblox developer conference within the last week, you know what their big piece of news was
for every 10,000 Robux that you get in the door, which is like a hundred dollars.
They're giving developers, they used to give them $35. Now they're going to give them $38.
Like that's what we're competing against. Do you know what I mean? Like in crypto, we can actually take a much lower take rate than this and put more money
into the hands of creators.
And this actually just becomes a user acquisition problem.
So by the way, people celebrated that at Roblox because just that 3% bump was a huge deal
And that makes sense.
They've got the distribution.
We don't have that yet but
we're getting there right so what we need to do is just really put this in the hands of our
creators and make sure that they can they can like build their community uh have a really high
production value high fidelity way of showing off their content to the rest of the world. And you're going to see stuff with Kodakam that lets you do that.
Anyway, there's actually like so many features that like every time I list them off, I feel
like I can diffuse my point, which is like every community can win another side.
Everything goes back to ApeCoin and ApeChain.
Other deed holders are going to be like the thing that we build around first and foremost.
Those are the main points.
Man, this makes me so excited.
And man, you were the first person who gave me ApeCoin
for twerking in the other side.
So I'm really proud of that.
It was so much fun.
Put your hands on your knees.
I'll give you some ApeCoin.
That was that. Anybody here, hands on your knees, hands on your knees. I'll give you some ApeCoin. Dad was dead.
Hands on your knees.
Hands on your knees.
I knew someone was going to get excited.
It was only a matter of who.
Maka might have actually just been twerking at the house when he said that, too.
So we might have to get him some ApeCoin on the side. Rich, baby daddy gang.
Rich, I'm not copying copying i'm not repeating that um as soon as you said that everybody in other side right now is twerking now so feel free to go to launch.other side.xyz and join us
i'll give you guys some ape coin for doing it make it rain daddy's making it rain on you go
to the website it's in uh it's in bio. It's in most of our bios.
Launch.otherside.xyz
Yeah. We've got a few more
questions here. We're going to come to our guest shortly.
Time is going pretty well so far.
You want to take this one?
You can take this one.
What do you think? How are you feeling?
Go ahead, Legend, because I'm starting my pc and i'm going back to our side
too so i'm on space at the same time man you know i got a bubble high in the sky i'll be there i'll
be there so anybody can join that bubble and fly anywhere they want to in the other side and explore
take your pictures you know what i'm saying do the whole shebang bang he's like a gondola ride
gondola ride you a gondolo ride,
except you don't have to ride.
You just join, you can jump,
you can fall.
He's a great service.
Already services being provided
in the game by folks on the stage.
Love to see it.
You guys have heard a lot about Apeco.
You guys have seen a lot
of different activations popping up.
Obviously, Project Raid,
a new strategy.
We've seen events getting funded
from the community
that are being produced
by the community through programs there.
But some of the other things that are interesting and fun on the timeline, we're seeing developers starting to get funded.
We're seeing that Apeco is also in coordination with the other side team continuing to pour gas where there are fires.
But sometimes if you pour gas on a fire you could put it out so
if there's smoke there's fire but sometimes you could put the fire out if there's too much liquid
gas gas is a funny funny chemical so how do you know when the fire is ready for for gas and this
i mean figgy maybe you kick it off and i think james might have a different perspective too
maybe from from the depth side i think you guys have two interesting angles to approach this one
the questions how do you know when to pour gas on the fire yeah i mean how do you know when a project's ready for you to step in and start to you know
increase the levels of distribution maybe including including some funding totally we're
in the mindset of like we want to see like what is what is, what is the concept? And like, is there a way to test it out without betting the farm on it?
We're in the mood to like, just make sure we're backing a lot of like really
easy, simple ideas, because I think other side is first and foremost,
like it's social first.
So if you don't need to build a huge, huge game, you need to build something
that's like experiences that are really simple and repeatable.
Those are the things that we want to back most urgently um but if somebody has a really great idea like you know i saw what the primal instinct folks were building and i thought that's
they they have done so much work on their own without any help from us that when when they
meet us and they're like hey Hey, how can we, how
can we do something together?
It's a much easier conversation to have.
Cause they like, they carried it pretty far along.
James, I think you probably have maybe a different take on it, but like, that's what
I look for.
I look for like, how long have you carried the ball on your own far enough that it makes
it easier for us to help you.
I think it's, it's a bit of like show and prove in my opinion as well.
So I think it's kind of like the same thing, like even as like a developer, you kind of
need to go through some cycles to understand what to do.
And so I think this kind of goes back to, you know, the old days where like, you know,
sometimes you just get stuff handed out to people who haven't even executed before.
So for me, like if you see the, if you see these folks who are actually executing the grinding, they're trying to get stuff done.
Like that's much more enticing.
You know that they're trying to go through like the crucible of just getting their product out because like the muse is talking to them or whatever it is.
But they're building it come hell or high water. Right.
Like like they just want to try and get the stuff out because it's what really, really excites them.
And and you get that passion. You can kind of see that with the folks who are building it. And, you know, what I find is all the builders and,
you know, in, in, on the ApeChain ecosystem and, and really just all around the other side of just
like, you know, they just love this stuff and they just, you can tell when you talk to them,
you can tell when, when you see what they're working on or, you know, they're just like,
oh, I just tried to vibe code this thing up to see if I could get it done. And, and, you know,
when you hear that it's infectious and those are the folks you want building in your space, right?
Those are the folks you want to support because you know that, like, when times get tough,
they're still going to kind of, like, double down and still be in part of it and still try and, like, get to the finish line.
grateful is now completely lost to the other side he's oh man he just popped out of my bubble
man oh he's gliding we don't want to interrupt the glide i'm sorry guys i i may or may not have
been late to a couple of meetings because i've been gliding around other side i i i'm willing
to admit that here this is recorded recorded. It's a real thing.
We're going to have a flying club, you know?
Yep, that's fine.
A flying club, a photo club.
I mean, there's a club for everything that you could do currently
in the other side right now.
You guys can tap in.
I think that's one of the amazing things.
I think that's the amazing things that, you know,
we want to have happen happen but you can't force
it right you can't force culture you can't force these things to happen because it's almost like
when you do that it pushes back and nothing gets created but but when you when you give someone like
a blank canvas for folks to kind of play in and experiment and these these things start to build
themselves and you're seeing that with like, I mean, other games, obviously,
and the other side, Photo Club, and now the Gliding Club.
And, you know, I think Jay Vegas, like, you know, he does like tours.
Well, he'll take you in a bubble and he'll walk you around all these spaces.
And, oh, you know, you can go look at this spot.
If you didn't know about this, come over here.
And it's just like all these things that I don't think even me and Ficky thought of.
You start to see this coming true and you're like, oh, wow, that's actually really that's actually really really cool and you know that kind of dovetails on to the back of the
other thing where it's like how do we know when to pour gasoline on uh yeah gasoline on the fire
it's like they kind of come to you you kind of see you're like wow oh that's incredible i didn't
even think about that how do we make sure that they feel supported how do we make sure that they
have the things that they need and so you know
have the things that they need.
I'm so excited about this bar, man.
And we have so many builders and...
Did he have Rogue?
Oh, can you hear me, guys?
No, I think James Rogue, for a second.
Because I'm just twerking on the other side
and trying to get some Apecoin from Figgy
while we are all here on stage,
which is the beauty of the other side, right?
So, love that.
I'm back here.
I'm back here.
I started twerking.
So if you can take the next one
and I'll go after
because, man,
it's wild in the other side, guys.
Don't leave the space here,
but go check it out there too
because it's absolutely crazy.
I think we can hear you again too, James.
Okay, cool.
I was like, oh man,
it's getting on my bullshit.
Okay, cool. Did you want to finish man, I'm getting on my bullshit. Okay, cool.
Did you want to finish?
You want to make sure that we feel supported.
When I get in my rants,
I'm like Will Ferrell from old school.
You cut off, right,
when you said you wanted to make sure
that we all felt supported
because you didn't think of those things
and now you're coming together.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And so I think it's important
to support the first hundred, right?
The first few clubs and all that stuff is super important.
And so, you know, one scary thing about all of this stuff is building in public, right?
Like we're building in public, right?
But we ask for feedback.
And I think because we're doing that, the community gives us really positive and great feedback.
And, you know, I love hearing about all these ideas and stuff like that, you know, and I mean, best place to do it is another side, Discord support tickets,
but you know, like, like it's, it's, it's so encouraging to see that folks are enjoying what
we're doing and, and they, they see the vision as well. That's very exciting.
Love it. Love it. Yeah. I got a special intro for, for James. Figgy, before, before we focus in on
James, appreciate you again for, for again for spending your Monday morning here with us
and spending so much extra time with us today.
And fucking living in the other side, though.
So if you're looking for him, you know where to find him.
Is there anything that you wanted to share with us
before we focus in on James?
Anything you didn't have a chance to touch on before we go?
No, no. I mean no there's always more stuff
we can talk about i'll find you in a bubble sometime uh it's good to see everybody i am
starting to give out ape there's a lot there's a hilarious amount of people that have showed up to
the swamp now to uh twerk along the swamp and get some apes so if you want to be in that i'll do a
little recording and then we'll start giving out some of a launch.other side.xyz right i'll get your asses in there there's something happening i'm
i'm about to load a i'm about to fire up a an alt tab right now get getting the other side things
but what honey b what you got i'm glad my ass back to the clubhouse right now just to go twerk on
him the dgens are getting itchy This is the epitome.
This is the quintessential essence of working
for your bags. Shaking your ass
in a game to get paid.
You're actually, you know...
To the point earlier...
You started your off career.
It's not a game. It's a virtual world.
And literally everything you do
in today's world you're
going to be able to transact and do in that world whether any kind of commerce business ordering
products you know what i'm saying buying things you like all of those things delivered to your
house all of the things are going to mix up and eventually be able to be done right here on this
platform you won't even have to leave your house that's i mean we experienced that for
a minute i was so bullish in like 2017 on the central land i was like oh we're never gonna
leave the house bro i'm gonna i'm gonna be in the central land if this was there was still a white
paper i'm gonna be in there like on walmart just buying my groceries buying my stuff it's gonna be
we're close we're getting there we're i'm gonna need that walmart in the other side sooner or
later figure i need my my detergents and my food and it all comes from the same place so if we could We're close. We're getting there. I'm going to need that Walmart in the other side sooner or later, Figgy.
I need my detergents and my food, and it all comes from the same place.
So if we could just get that Walmart, that'd be great.
Again, appreciate you for spending time.
We are going to come to Von Doom and the other games guys here as well.
I had 10 a.m. as kind of like where the estimation was,
but I think we'll end up at around 10 30 just to
make sure we have enough time for for Von Doom and the other games folks here plus you guys want to
get into the other side before Figgy runs out of ApeCoin I mean I don't know if that's possible I
also know he's not leaving but there's still a sense of urgency get in there while everybody's
lined up and and shaking their ass work for your bags if you guys are here from the soul community
this is one of the ways that you can do it in the other side. You can go in there and just shake a
little bit of ass and come out with a little bit of ApeCoin. And soon, shortly this week, you can
just do whatever you want with it on soul. All sorts of trading and degeneracy. All right, James,
speaking of trading and degeneracy, I still need in that chat that Illa keeps doxing.
Man, you're one of my favorite people in the space, if I'm being honest.
I think you've been behind the computer as a dev for a long time,
but you've come out now as a founder,
as one of the lead engineers with Yuga Labs,
and also came out in a Hamburglar costume over the weekend.
If you guys missed it, again, you guys got to be following James.
He's got quite a timeline he's got uh pigeons he's got a bunch of children and i'm
not talking about humans i'm talking about his gobs he is the gob father and he's fathered not
just one but two of the most popular nft collections on chain on ape chains not just on ape chain though
i think across chains the The Gobbs community,
the Mintatars community, some of the most
vocal, some of the most excited, some of the most
engaged folks with
NFT, PFPs across
the entire crypto ecosystem.
In either case, whether he's working on
the other side or
hanging out in the cave, placing his hands.
No, motherfucker, I'm finishing. I'm
almost done. He's clearly committed to the ecosystem.
I'm about to fucking wake you, bro.
You're going to put it on his chest,
his back, and his face, or what?
Yeah, I could go.
I don't have, I am HR.
I could go left.
Stop it, James.
You're a beautiful man,
and you're clearly committed to the ecosystem,
clearly committed to the success of the other side.
But, but, this is awful.
If you guys aren't following James, he's also putting out patch notes so all of the patch notes that you guys are used to in a game they're not coming out on some
fucking bullshit for him james is just farting them out like a coda could you tell us just a
little bit more about some of the things that it was a big deal right unreal 5.5 what yeah what
does this mean what what happened? For sure, for sure.
So we were running on an older version of Unreal,
and we wanted to do an update for a multitude of reasons.
But the ultimate thing that I think most players care about
is runs faster and smoother and looks prettier.
I feel like ultimately that's what a lot of the folks love to see.
There's all these other performance gains
and some other things that we get from that. But ultimately ultimately it's like game run smoother uh to put it in the
eight terms uh and i think most people will see that like even even the streaming uh runs a bit
smoother than than it did before because of our frame rates and stuff like that and you know
ultimately i think the the impetus to to keep our system as up-to-date as possible is on us to do.
And we want to make sure that other side's always running at least,
you know, as current as we can without causing too much chaos.
Now, you know, I say that because when you do these kind of upgrades,
obviously things are built on older versions.
And as you upgrade, things get kind of like taken away, right?
So a lot of folks went to join Clubhouse or an experience
and they were like, wait, what's this weird new error
I get trying to load in using like the downloaded client?
And, you know, that's because M1 MacBooks now
kind of got pushed out of the system
because, you know, for whatever reason,
our new Unreal system can't handle them.
And so people were not happy about that,
but that's kind of what happens.
You know, some folks will make the sacrifice so other folks can fly. And I think that's okay sometimes.
But we've been trying to do a lot of things to... Sorry, I'm like, I got pinged at the wrong time
and my ADD kind of kicked there. A lot of the updates are fun things. Sometimes these release
notes, no one ever reads them. So I was like, let me try and break them down into like a thread that's just like, hey, here's some important things that probably the community will care about, right? You know, I don't have it in front of me, but a lot of it was just like, hey, we've, we've tried to fix, you know, we've tried to fix this thing or we got rid of this thing. And, you know, there's, there's been some bugs that people were seeing. Like, for instance, some people would get just kicked out of streaming, right? Like're streaming you just get kicked out for no reason i'm not talking about like the timer one
it's just for some reason that would happen and we fixed that so now you know as long as you're
staying yourself you know not idle you won't get kicked out of a get kicked out of your experience
you still have to come in and move your mouse every once in a while but those are fixed and so
uh you know we added one to tell folks we added a new train track and you know there's a bunch of
all these small things that we did but i think it's important for us to kind of communicate what
we do release and when we release them and you know i kind of have the keys to to being able to
do some changes myself not on like the deep engine stuff but like a lot of the overlays so like when
you uh when you when you tab and you get your profile or if you look at someone else's profile
i have we have a lot of like leeway of what we can update there pretty quickly so i try and make
changes as quickly as i can based off of either developer feedback or quite honestly like things
that i think might be interesting because i like you kind of said i'm a djan at heart and everything
so i was like we need to be able to you know let's make it to where we can send not just ape to folks, but how do we make it to where we can send, you know, ape chain tokens to folks? So, you know, I made it to
where a lot of the meme coins on, on a chain are able to transfer. So maybe there's someone who's
a founder who has some of that and they want to send it to some people who come and find them,
you know, maybe just do a game like, Hey, the first person to find me on top of pp's birthday cake get some hose what a great line i get to say publicly um but you know and it's also like how do we get the actual nft
collections for in there as well to be tradable i think right that's important so even a founder
can go in and be like hey if anyone wants to get on board into the system come listen to me chat
in a bubble and maybe like someone can win you know a G or someone can win a gob or something like that.
We're slow rolling that.
So we run into that, well, when can I get my collection in?
And we'll get there.
We'll get there to when it's going to be doors open for everybody.
But right now, we're trying to slow roll it.
As we grow in our comfortability in all of this,
we'll open the doors for that.
JAMES DELAYAVYSKI-. James I have to ask you because of course people join this space because they want to get some offer right so I
have to ask you this, I got a lot of bribes in ApeCoin so
you know I have to ask. Any short term goals
for OtherSide as a platform that you can share with us
that happened before ApeFest?
And maybe before and also during, right?
I think for me it's just stabilizing,
getting comfortable with how we run our processes.
We want to get more avatars in.
We want to get a lot of fun things like that in um how can we
make the sp here here's something i would love to get in before ape fest and i don't know if i'll
get it in and figgy might kill me he's about to dm say what the hell you're about to say
if we can get one ball i don't know if we can or not because i think they've already told me no but
if we can get one ball into the swamp i feel like that'll be fun because i know if folks have been
asking for just one ball and i don't. We'll see what we can do.
But I think there's just, we're kind of like following the community's lead to an extent
with some of this stuff right now, right?
Like we've heard the feedback on how the current Swamp experience is.
And there's a lot of good things that uh i want to get out before ape fest
and i feel like we're moving quickly to it because like our partners at improbable um have been
really really great and m squared have been really great and like um you know i think it's just like
trying to harden this stuff up as as here's the thing here's the way i think about it uh this is
the worst it's gonna look this is the worst it's gonna be which is absolutely a great thing if you
go look at the swamp like this is the worst this is incredible but also like you
know how can we fix some of the more foundational things when we're not at a massive massive scale
yet because when we get to a massive scale and having to do some of these changes it's going to
be a lot harder right we're we're getting we're we're a bus now and we're going to be a cruise
ship soon right and it's so much easier to to do things when you can move around as a bus versus a
cruise ship and so how can we do some of the foundational things so it's actually more like you guys probably
won't see the things that we work on or maybe you won't but it's because we're trying to build the
things that are like shore us up for the long term yep that makes sense man and uh any activations
for ape fest i i probably shouldn't ask this but you know
i've got a meeting at one o'clock so i've really got to go man but i i really appreciate everyone
having me on for this little bit of time here okay okay los go ahead go go ahead with some
other question man yo i can't i can't control aquamarine apes i i never said that i would or
that i could or that I would try to.
I don't even know how we got up here.
I don't know what's going on.
I wrote this nice compliment here.
I'm taking notes.
James is just going to fucking brush me.
I'm going to say it anyway.
You can't stop me, James.
Crazy pivot.
You are a fan.
You're a father.
You're a founder.
How can we scale fan-driven ecosystems? And we talk about fan-driven ecosystems. I think it's what everybody here is building. If you're building something, if you've got an MBA, if you're
an NFT founder, if you're creating a protocol and you're marketing specifically towards the apes,
right? You're a part of this fan-driven ecosystem. and fan-driven ecosystems account for, I don't know, hundreds of millions of dollars across different IPs.
Give us your vision.
There's no timeline for this question.
James, how do we scale the system?
How do we scale this ecosystem that we're in, and in a way that allows the creators to profit and to own their works and for the consumers to own, to own these things.
It's interesting. And I think it kind of goes to the first hour, right?
It's like, you know, we,
we have to break out of our bubble and make make noise. Right.
And I think this is a good way that project rate is doing this, right.
It's allowing all of our folks to, to interact with eight, right.
On all these different places, Solana as it may be.
And you kind of tie this back into other side
is like you can have, you know,
let's think about future facing
and, you know, I don't think any of this is a surprise.
Like you have resources,
you have people who are like, you know,
creating these games where you can like win Ape
and stuff like that.
So, you know, you're building collections as well that well that you know i think if we start to add on
like creator royalties and some things like that like like how do you how do you transact in this
world how do you start to you know sell goods build things make things that people want to you
know to to do and or to to, to flex in, in other side.
And that spreads out all over the place.
Cause like, here's the thing, you start to build something really, really cool on a deed.
And people are going to want to see it.
And then they go and they're going to say, I don't want to be a Voyager.
I want to be my, whatever their PFP of choice is.
So then they kind of start to talk to their founders and like, Hey, when are we going
to, how can we get our stuff over here?
How can we start to do this?
How can we start to do that?
And that's kind of how you start to like build, in my opinion, like the folks who want to
come and play another side.
You know, I think there's a lot of room for really fun, catchy games.
And I think once we open up the, the ODK and stuff to even a wider audience, you're going to start to see people build onto that and lean onto that.
Because, look, you have people watching these streams for hours on like a boring Web 2 game that's very 2D.
Imagine if it's almost that same game, but it's more in the 3D space.
It's going to be incredible.
And why wouldn't people want to come and, you know, stream on that and, you know, like be like instead of watching it on that on on a screen, you could sit here as your ape and watch another ape try and do something.
A ton of stuff that can be done.
Sorry if that's, like, all over the place,
but then, you know, we have a clubhouse here
for apes that we're all standing at and twerking around,
which is incredible, by the way.
If you're not at launch.otherside.xyz,
you should come in there.
But, you know, people are going to start
to have their own clubhouses.
And I just, I keep thinking of, you know snow crash and ready ready player one
especially especially the the movie when you know you watch them go into these like you know
clubs where everyone's hanging out and doing stuff and just goofing off and talking to each other man
like it's something fun and i i just i can't help but get bullish from this and i i will very much
say i was not as bullish as I was until Apes Come Home,
and I saw the power of having your specific PFP
walking around.
And it really, really, like, pilled me.
It really did.
It really, like, you know, turned it on for me.
Because, like, I'd read the books and been such a fan,
but when I saw it in action, I was like,
holy shit, we're further along than I actually expected.
But even though we still have a far way to go.
And I'm going to stop ranting at that point.
Like, having your 3D avatar there and your identity is a game changer. I think mutants,
that was a that was amazing move because suddenly you see the excitement there right like you see
all the mutants uh flexing their 3d avatar there and I think it's awesome and you know whenever
you see g's or or mutants or apes there or Meebits and you recognize the person, it's always special for me.
And I absolutely love that.
It's so much better than here on Space.
It's 100%.
And you know what's really interesting, man,
is that someone mentioned in a Space the other night,
last night, you guys might have heard it,
but it was like, even when you do the hug emote,
it feels different when it's a person you kind of know.
It's like you're not just hugging.
It's not like you're hugging like a John wick character.
You're hugging the other person.
It kind of feels it's some,
something in your brain is like,
it's actually a person that I've,
talked with and stuff like that.
It's very strange.
I don't know if our brains are wired for this yet,
but we're getting there.
I'm glad you said very strange.
Cause I was thinking like,
don't let Solana hear us talking about that.
don't let,
don't let the soul community know
we're hugging each other.
I posted a picture of me in a Hamburglar costume
with no shoes on. I am totally fine.
That's just me.
Wait, wait, wait.
You're a Hamburglar and not Grimish?
The story was I dressed up
for Halloween and I actually handed out
hamburgers to the parents.
You call them
No, man. Come on. for Halloween, and I actually handed out hamburgers to the parents. You call them fat, honey? They're the fatifier.
No, man. Come on.
Come on. Have we seen the TikToks?
The Grimace drink? You girls love Grimace, brother.
The Hamburglar?
Yo, I'm built like Grimace. You know what I'm saying?
That's why I got so many girls. McAvoy's new name is the Purple Nurple.
This is...
Can we get a Grimace costume in the other...
We need a McDonald's collab, huh?
We'll hit him up on Twitter.
We need those toys on the other side.
All right.
Forward-looking.
We're coming to Von Doom.
Von Doom, appreciate you for spending the extra time with us this morning
and other games.
Guys, appreciate you guys, too.
We got special segments for you guys here, special questions, special moments.
A couple last questions, a little bit of alpha we got we got we got a little
extra squeeze from from freaking james today we love it know you guys appreciate it you guys are
building in the other side as well so i'm sure that you guys are good with with this um all right
now it's time to squeeze grateful it's time to it's time to squeeze yeah I don't know what... Yeah.
All the noises. I don't even prepare a noise. I'm not making a noise. I'm just
going for the throw. James
is such a Hamburglar, too.
He's just going to fucking dropkick us.
But PeePee's here. Maybe PeePee could leak.
So PeePee's still here, James.
Just keep it in mind.
Shoot it to PeePee. Deflect it to PeePee
and maybe he'll leak for it. When? Nexus. When? When's the Nexus?
Damn it. When is it? When? Date. When?
So, okay. So about that.
I actually was not lying. I do have a call at 1 o'clock.
I'm actually telling them that I had to get there.
So I gotta go. So, sorry guys.
No more leaks and stuff from me. Love everybody.
See you on the other side. See ya.
Alright, alright, alright.
Oh, Peepy's got the alpha. PB, win.
I'm on that call with James.
Son of a...
All right.
They're putting avatars in the game right now.
That's what's going on here.
They're putting avatars in the game right now.
That's okay. Appreciate you guys for spending the time with us
and for giving us all the updates and the information.
Let's wrap it up with F Von Doom and the other games crew.
We got, I mean, at least another 30 minutes here.
We got some questions lined up for these folks.
You guys have been building incredible things for the community.
And I feel like, Pete, for Von Doom,
you're such a figure in the ecosystem
that people are maybe more familiar with you
and the Command Line Studio now having produced the,
I think it was the first third party game
that went live in the other side.
It was bathroom blitz.
A lot of people have been on the timeline talking about this.
I saw the other page just started distributing the rewards.
I think it was last week.
So some familiar platforms.
But yeah, and maybe for those that aren't super familiar,
you're also working closely with the other side team.
I mean, maybe it's obvious, maybe it's not. I think it should be. But just adopting sort of the
proprietary standards, these different systems that you've been building and that we've experienced
in Bathroom Blitz for all of the ODK creators. I have an icebreaker question for you too.
Sure. Go for it.
It's super important because I don't know. So I don't know if I missed it. And if I missed it, then somebody else probably missed it too.
Okay, Von Doom.
Is it Dr. Doom, MF Doom, The Dark Side of Von Dutch?
Where did the name come from?
It's a combination of MF Doom and Victor Von Doom.
I've always been into hip-hop and always been into comics.
So it was kind of an easy layup for me back in 2018 when I stood this up.
So the answer is yes.
We got it, Grateful.
All right, that's one out of the way.
That's good character reading.
All right, so yeah, just tell us about your experience.
I mean, it says in the bio of Command Line
that the studio is for game development
and metaverse construction.
I don't think there's too many folks with that in the bio,
and you're working hand-in-hand
with some of the biggest brands in the industry already.
Tell us about developing some of these experiences.
I mean, I've got to go to that 1 o'clock meeting, too.
No, just kidding.
No, I mean, look, it's early days.
It's exciting.
We're stoked to have been able to drop the first Persistent Experience.
Really excited that the awards are in distribution now.
I think the claim is up and they'll be auto-distributed
if people didn't pick them up.
But then we're planning all of the what's next,
which will be a lot of fun.
Grateful's in there.
Grateful's in there.
He's twerking his ass off.
Okay, so you guys, if people didn't know,
you guys developed something unique here.
So we were able to go into the bathroom blitz
and if you guys missed it, there was an activation.
It was up for about two weeks and there was a game.
So we talked about it a bit earlier with Figgy
in sort of understanding other side as a platform.
This is a place where people come and they build games.
So Von Doom and his studio, they built this game, Bathroom Blitz. But you also built some interesting features. You
built the matchmaking system that we got to experience there, that sort of custom, unique
lobby. I mean, what inspired you to develop a unique matchmaking system? Was it out of necessity?
Was it an interest? I mean, it was, was yeah it was a bit of both i mean in order
for the game to function we got to have matchmaking right it's kind of one of those baseline needs
sorry i've been fighting something like for the last three days um it's you know it's part of the
baseline needs that just has to be built so we uh we just executed and we wanted to make it fun
you know what i mean we wanted to give it an
experience where it's like here's here's the other bathroom or the locker room and let people run
around and you know it was fun to stage it there's a lot of i mean if you i'm sure you've seen it
there's a lot of just dope easter eggs running around there oh for sure man i've been killed so
many times there i i remember you know every inch of that arena, but I love that, man. The game is so much fun.
Yeah, I don't know if we have Dinopause here. Yeah. Oh, he's Dinopause is a monster.
Yeah, he killed me like 2000 times, I think.
Yeah, he killed me like 2,000 times, I think.
Yeah, I think he killed everybody 2,000 times.
Dude, I don't know if he's human.
We need to put some kind of bot checker up to make sure that he's not AI.
No, I witnessed that man in Discord server literally never sleeping and just farming.
Yeah, he was grinding.
I mean, mad respect.
Dude, he told his girlfriend, he's like, sorry, I'm not gonna
talk to you for two weeks while I'm doing this
and you're gonna deliver
food to me? And that's it, bro, I'm locked in.
That's it. He was locked in. That's for damn
sure. Damn! I love
that. Sounds like he's dedicated
and it paid off.
It paid off.
I have a question also.
What other types of games or experiences
or game standards are you developing actually um well i can't really talk about much of that
man sorry i i could i could say that we're we're building on um the foundational bones that uh we already created but that doesn't
just mean first person shooters damn that was a lot of alpha so he's built they're building on
the bones they built the matchmaking system so pvp they're building pvp not just first but maybe
third person maybe i don't there's if sometimes if you just throw out enough
of the wrong things it'll trigger the person to respond i'm not getting anything it might trigger
some of the people to respond i'm getting absolutely yeah stonewalled it's okay you're
doing great the mf doom mass just staring me dead in the face i mean so yeah i mean if you guys if
you guys like didn't didn't catch that, this matchmaking system, this is something that other people would be able to
use in developing the different experiences on their game. So you guys have literally developed
with, uh, with the other side team here, hand in hand, some of the, the core infrastructure that
then we're not only able to experience and use, but that founders and builders will, will also
be able to, to go through and founders and builders will also be able to
go through and incorporate into their plots or into their experiences. They're cutting down,
I don't know if it's a tree or something in front of my house. I thought it was in front of my house. I was like, gonna look out the window like, what is happening?
Yeah, my bad. I got it. The mic is too good in this case. Not good enough at not picking.
They're just so loud, Bev.
Anyway, so let's tap into your experience a little bit.
I mean, you've been building command line.
You've been working with the other side.
What would you like to share with the community?
What can you share with the community
about what's on the horizon, what's next?
For you, I think I might have even seen a little bit
of an alpha leak from you personally.
So either direction, what's something that you want to share?
What alpha leak did you see from me personally?
Did I see something about it?
Was there a new platform?
Did I see it?
Yeah, there is a new platform.
We're definitely doing other stuff with our Ape Chain friends, of course.
stuff with our Ape Chain friends, of course. I mean, I think the thing that I could talk about
a little bit is the card system that we're creating, right? The awards, there's going to be,
there's like a background point system. So, you know, if you got a diamond award,
obviously that's better than the gold award and the gold is better than the silver and you know
so the higher tier the award the more packs of these cards are going to get um and the cards
are going to be the cards are going to be dope it's going to be cosmetics and you know other stuff
for people to be able to outfit themselves with in in the other side. Yeah, that's exactly what I...
I had to scroll for a bit. I was
considering pinning it up there. I think
we'll pin it up there. We will pin it up there.
Sure. I always appreciate
a pin. Yeah.
Maybe it's not even related, but maybe
it is. You said cards, and I'm seeing
a pile. I mean, it looks like your house is just
full of Pokemon cards here.
Oh, that's a different thing.
Yeah, no, that's not related.
That's another project.
Is it official Pokemon collaboration here?
Yeah, no, I have.
Yeah, my good friend, Retro Wall Street, a.k.a. Tim Collins,
he has some secret sauce and is now, he's been doing this for a while.
He's able to get anything literally anything um he's uh pp knows him he's one of the smartest guys you'll ever meet
and him and one of his buddies came up with a methodology to just acquire trading cards or
concert tickets or whatever and you know we've been talking about it for a while
and he's launching this thing called ninja rips and it's essentially going to be i would say like
a buyer's club for stuff that you can't normally get uh or if you get it you're going to be paying
a premium and um those what are these hold on i have a case of them right here it should be like he
he just had have you seen these prismatic evolution surprise boxes it's like a it's like a it's a box
you can keep the cards in it's got four packs and one like surprise card uh he got 1800 of these
boxes they retail for like i think i think on eBay now, they're probably 50, 60 bucks a piece.
He got them for less, obviously.
And he got 1,800 of them.
And he was able to sell them through his connections in about 12 hours and sold them out completely.
I ended up buying about 24 boxes because I was like, well, I mean, if I'm on the train, I might as well enjoy the ride.
So, you know, next up is Magic the Gathering.
After that is more Pokemon tickets.
And he's just able to get anything.
And if you hold a Ninja Rips NFT, which is going to launch really soon on Ape Chain, you'll be able to have access to everything.
They're going to be ripping packs and sending cards.
It's going to be the sickest club within the club, I think, on the internet.
For people that like cards.
A little bit out.
Which is probably a lot of it.
It's the hot trend.
I saw D-Farm farmers looking for magic the gathering cards
on chain so maybe maybe he's got yeah he's got a i mean the the good thing too is these are all
physicals you know what i mean so it's not like we're not the he's not like fractionalizing these
i mean he may do some stuff like that in the future because why not i think this is going to
be incredibly well received i think the timing is perfect you know this is RWAs this is collectible RWAs period you know what I'm saying the best of
yeah real world yeah and NFTs mixed it gives you access to the assets that you're trying to get
right and folks that collect this stuff right you guys me probably a lot of people in the audience
included they're paying premiums for this
all the time right if you can hold an nft and have access to get stuff at normal prices
and pay fair shipping why wouldn't you want to do this of course you would
he's not going to care if you resell it.
In fact, you should.
You know, if you rip a pack and get something crazy,
then congratulations.
Let us know.
But yeah, I've known Tim forever.
He's a great guy.
Super brilliant.
And then when he started sending,
he starts texting me these pictures of all these boxes he's getting at his house.
It started about six or eight months ago.
I'm just like, dude, we should do something dope with this.
I think that there are so many card collectors out there.
It just makes sense to try to wrap this into something that people would just love.
So it should be fun.
A lot more information on that will come out this week.
Make sure you guys are following
fontume he's cooking in the kitchen consistently he's cooking in the bathroom but the other cards
the other cards that's going to be more of a that's that's those are those are digital and
that's that's going to be a cosmetic system for um you know stuff in the other side. So your next game, Bathroom Blitz,
you know, if you get a certain gun skin,
maybe it has pretty legit powers
and when you end up shooting somebody,
maybe they turn into bowling balls
or melt into liquid acid
or, you know, maybe it's got a rainbow bullet trail
or something like that, you know,
just some fun stuff.
If you think along the lines of what
you see you know we my team has a lot of experience with fortnite you know we started building on
fortnite as soon as creative 2.0 came out um we avoided creative just because it just didn't make
sense for us because we are so into like building out and optimizing original assets that just like
remixing tilted towers with tilted towers
assets didn't sound interesting uh what sounded interesting was being able to like recreate
tilted towers with a whole new you know set of skins uh on the buildings and remix it that way
with new stuff that no one's seen before um so i mean i think if you think of you know the way
So, I mean, I think if you think of, you know, the way that is situated in terms of, you know, in terms of the, in terms of the cosmetics that one can acquire, I think, I think you can probably infer where this could go.
You guys better be paying attention when those experiences open up.
Otherwise, you're going to be paying premium
on the secondary for those wonderful cosmetics well the best part these cards are all going to be
this this first season is going to be completely free we're just giving them away because we just
you know a we want to thank everybody for spending the time and playing it and enjoying it and sharing
really good feedback you know we got a bunch of really
good data and a bunch of really good uh you know we had a lot a lot of people like you know just
basically self-volunteered like you know anything from an issue to an idea a lot of people filled
out like the there was like i think in the discord we had like a forum and people filled that out.
And, you know, we, we took in a lot, we ingested a lot of incoming info off of it, which was great.
And we're going to make, you know, we're going to make some pretty rad changes on it moving forward.
We're thrilled that the community was as happy with it as they were and looking forward to the next run.
You guys heard it here. You guys heard it here.
You guys heard it several times.
You guys have seen it all over the timeline.
Make sure you guys are tapping into the other page
so you guys can collect those free rewards
from Bathroom Blitz
and make sure you guys are paying attention
when the windows open up for you to hop in next time.
He's not going to tell us when the next window is.
I'm not even going to ask.
He's going to stonewall me.
We can try, man.
It's going to be
obviously post-Ape Fest, I think,
at this point. Pretty easy thing to guess.
Post-Ape Fest.
I will say that we're working on a lot of stuff.
And I think that the
vast majority
is going to
surprise a lot of people.
We love surprises.
I can't wait to be delighted.
And I'm ready to blast
Dino Paws with the rest of you.
We're ganging up.
We need to blast Dino Paws.
Start a group.
I'm team Dino Paws.
I'm going to tell you all right now.
I'm team Dino Paws. You can get smoke too, even even though you got a orange background
You're gonna get smoke you could get blasted to Machiavelli. All right, so Machiavelli and Dinopause together. We're coming to get you
Yeah, I mean anything else that you want to you want to share before before we we dial in with the with the other games crew over here
um nah, I think you want to share before, before we, we dial in with the, with the other games crew over here?
Um, nah, I think, uh, there's a lot more coming is,
is all I could share. And, um, you know, within the next,
there's going to be a lot before the end of the year.
We'll leave it at that. I got to jump. Cause I'm,
I'm plenty late to a 10 o'clock, so I'm going to jump, but, uh,
I appreciate the time and energy and ApeCoin on top.
ApeCoin on top.
Thanks for coming and hanging out with us all morning, Von Doom.
Make sure you guys are following Von Doom and that command line account so you guys don't fall off on the updates for Bathroom Blitz.
Trying to get dino-paws.
I see James came back up here too.
James, are you there or is my...
Yes, I'm back now. I told the people in up here too. James, are you there? Yes, I'm back now.
I told the people in my meeting,
I said, you know what? My people need me.
And you guys
cannot hold me down.
Where are you people?
Why didn't you do the call
Because, you know, sometimes you just gotta
look leaky, leaky. I actually closed
the browser to make sure my mic didn't pick anything up.
So I was like super nervous.
Like, I was like, I think I'm on mute or something.
But you know what?
I'm just going to go ahead and close this down and I'll come back.
Yeah, you got to make sure the right cords are plugged into the right holes
and all those things.
I mean, now that you're here, we could jump you with some questions.
Actually, this is a great time to jump you with a couple questions
just before we pan over to the other games, guys,
because we've been talking about the other side.
We've been talking about expanding to new ecosystems.
We've been talking about IP.
We're talking about playing games with the IP in the game.
Are there going to be more avatars added to the other side
from ecosystems beyond ETH and ApeChain?
Beyond ETH and Apechain? Beyond ETH and Apechain.
I don't know.
That's a good question.
That's a very good question.
If only there was like a technology that was out in the world
that could create something, I don't know.
It's like when the sun hits you and there's like another version of it, but it's kind of, I don't know, it's like when the sun hits you
and there's like another version of it,
but it's kind of, I don't know,
it's kind of like a shadow to an extent.
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.
Maybe I'm talking nonsense, I don't know.
I don't know.
Here's the thing.
Other side runs on Ape Chain, right?
And that's, so that way, I mean,
if it's gonna run on Ape Chain,
probably needs to be on Ape Chain from that perspective,
from like a token perspective and stuff like that.
I think that's trying to get all this like spun up
and doing that stuff with a bunch of other chains and things like that.
It's a lot of N for overhead that maybe we don't need to deal with.
Besides, what's the coin of the realm? Ape, right?
So what's the chain of the realm? Ape.
And that's my statement as of Monday, September 8th, 2025.
It may change at any time, given feedback from other folks.
Is it Monday?
Honestly, James, I'm so glad you just said that because everybody I've been talking to from other communities and stuff like that,
and they're like, well, how are we supposed to do it?
And they're like, well, how are we supposed to do it?
I said, well, I think it's probably going to be a shadow type system.
I said, well, I think it's probably going to be a shadow type system.
I've told a few of them because that's how we did the ETH for the mutants and the apes to get the token on them.
It's an actual shadow.
So I'm really glad you just said that.
I think here's the thing.
Let's get super technical.
What are you eating?
Like, I'm sorry.
It's food time.
Can I have a bite?
I'm eating the most Atlanta shit ever.
A long little taste, James. Just a little bit.
Lemon pepper chicken with some rice and some peppers.
You're eating chicken. Go ahead. Get technical.
Anyways, okay.
I'm done. Sorry. I always talk on spaces.
Someone else has called me out on that before.
This is the only time I can talk
when I'm not in a meeting meeting.
What was I talking about?
ETH collections, probably a little bit easier because obviously we're in Arbitrum okay eth collections probably a little bit easier because
obviously like we're like an arbitram orbit so it's like a little bit easier to do eth but like
once you start to do like some of the other collections and other chains and things like
that it gets complicated so that's why i think like the shadow technology is obviously i think
it's a safer way to do it too to be honest with you it's so much easier to move your shadow around
and move it into a wallet or if you want to do delegation that's fine but like a lot of people sleep on how secure these shadows
can really help you be because you know a lot of the feedback is like i don't have to move my apron
i don't want to sign with the wallet that has my cool use a shadow move your shadow somewhere and
we can use it that way shadow spooky tech spooky season you love to see it. All right, I got one more press for Alpha.
We've been talking about some of the developers here,
some of the folks that have access,
some of the folks that are building.
I actually have notes from 369 as well.
He's another one of the developers
that has been funded to build and to develop
by Apeco in the other side.
If you guys aren't following him, you definitely are missing out.
He's building some pretty incredible things.
Can I stop you before you ask the question?
This is going to show my age and probably my mentality when I was in college.
Because every time, every time I read his name or I hear someone say it,
I think of that Get Low song, 369, damn she fine.
Every time.
I don't even
know if that's the right lyric but that's what i always thought it was so whenever i hear three
six nine i in my head i say damn she fine go ahead for me even you just saying that song makes me
think of a racing game but we're gonna go all the way oh a hundred percent a hundred percent
underground undefeated go ahead doxed uh doxed as fuck uh All right, so... And you're going to hate this question, too.
Or maybe you're going to love this question.
Who do we talk to for ODK access?
And just to streamline the question,
just to help people that are listening in, too,
I think there's a minimum bar you should even have,
like a proficiency level with Unreal Engine
to even consider this question.
But if you are proficient,
if you are a legit world builder
or have access to studios that build worlds who do who does who do we talk to for odk access
i've been putting a lot of work on the mods and the community support staff on other side but i
think it should be a support ticket on other side um i have been sending them sending people to like
different people's DMs
and stuff like that, but it's so distributed,
and I don't want people to fall through the cracks.
And so if we do, just tell them James sent you
or James Hall sent them, and they'll probably ping me,
but then I'll get you guys situated.
It's still kind of closed off right now,
but it'll open up more as we go.
And yeah, it's not for the faint of heart.
It's very, very in-depth, and it's very very complicated stuff you know i've been
trying to help some folks with their avatars and stuff and you know i've been getting a crash course
on some of those stuff as well so um yeah it's it's wild wild stuff all right there you have it
simple simple question simple answer didn't get my ass kicked. Got a great channel of support for you guys.
Make sure you guys are on the other side.
Mac, we're coming to you guys.
We're coming to the other games crew.
I have an intro for you guys, too.
I got to ask James a question real quick.
I got to ask James a question.
It's your whole segment, but all right.
It's 1031.
Mac just is so excited.
Wape, wape, wape.
Well, wape is asking.
No, I wouldn't do that.
I saw a little picture on 1031, James. Is something happening
on the other side? Just move forward,
man. Next question.
I'll give MacWins Alpha
just for that. We're pressing you guys for
extra Alpha, extra other games Alpha.
I want to know what the new games are. I want to know
where the fuck you were hiding last week. I'm coming
for Alpha. Here we have
the other games crew, and I know we got
a bunch of requests to come up but
we'll do the community these i know they feel familiar for you guys machiavelli and hype and
gspot and honeybee but they've been now committed and consistent for for coming up on over two
months now and and have been producing the other games for us so we did invite them to join us for
this space and i mean we're talking about mean, we're talking about the platforms.
We're talking about the ecosystem.
We're expanding ApeCoin.
But at the heart of it all, I mean, the IP exists.
And I think just a layer above the IP is the community and the fans, right?
The people that enjoy it.
And here we have some of the folks that have evolved out of the community.
I mean, whether they were apes or ethereans,
which people are blockchain natives,
evolved into devoted ApeChain community members
and evolved in, I don't even think it's the final form,
but evolved into the hosts of the other games
in the other side on ApeChain.
Don't forget that capturing fire in a bottle
and maintaining the attention
of all of these ApeCoin holders,
the board apes, the mutant apes,
the other side community, the geez,
you guys are fucking crushing it. You guys took a community that you were a part of
and adopted them and made your own unique community i think that's something that's
really cool and that people can learn from i appreciate you guys all spending time with us
here for the space today no ice breaker needed you guys are some of the most familiar people
out here in the other side on ape chain Chain. And I mean, who knows?
Maybe already in the Nexus.
I want to know when the damn Nexus is.
Anyway, what are you guys looking most forward to?
I miss the Nexus.
I miss the Nexus.
See, I knew they let his ass in there.
I knew they let...
He said he misses it.
He's been in there.
That's a leak.
That's a leak.
What are you...
I'm just kidding.
I'm just giving you a hard time.
What are you looking most forward to?
And we can do like
a round table
we'll start with Machiavelli
because I know
you're probably
in there right now
I mean you're probably
hosting the bubble
so people could fly around
what are you
what are you the most
excited for
in the development
of Other Side
what are you looking
most forward to
maybe it was something
you heard here today
maybe it was something
you heard somewhere else
maybe it's something
you're planning
what's on the horizon
that you're most excited about, Meg?
I've been doing a lot of door-to-door with, you know, community or project founders and people who want to bring their avatar, their single avatar, or just, you know, their whole community of avatars and get it over to the other side.
And I think the most thing that's what I'm the most excited for is being able to onboard all those other communities, all those other people who want their representation in world.
You know what I'm saying?
And have them experience it because you didn't build this just for us.
They built it for everybody.
You know what I'm saying?
So whether it's tomorrow or it's a year from now, eventually we're going to get down that piece of the road.
So I think that's what I'm most excited for and looking forward to.
But like, you know, because I'm a community builder.
I'm somebody who spends a lot of time in the community.
You know, that's how all of this started was just being in the community
and hanging out with my friends, having a good time.
I hadn't picked up a game stick in 15 years.
I hadn't cared to start a video game or anything.
And then when I saw this, I didn't see this as a game, man.
This really is the next, you know, iteration of the social platform.
It's actually fucking social.
I'm going to say it like that.
It is actually social.
I feel like I can make friends and hang out and do my thing.
And we're experiencing something together.
And I think it, you know, it transcends that human emotion of togetherness but we're still in that digital platform that digital media
i 100 agree man and you you really can find new friends in the other side and the feeling is is
absolutely different you know so you can meet people from all over the world there having fun, doing experiences, right?
And that's probably my follow-up question for, do we have a G-Spot here?
Where is that MF?
Oh, I see that MF.
You know, I saw Hype's beautiful aquamarine background and, you know, I couldn't move my eyes out of his PFP.
G-Spot, you know, you guys are innovating, right? Like, you continue to find new ways to motivate new unique actions in the game
and break shit.
Like, we try to do so many bubbles at once.
What can we look forward to as you continue to develop other games?
Like, any new alpha that you would love to share with us here?
I would love to learn because as a winner of the games,
I want to prepare for the next ones.
Yeah, man, we're always looking to see what it can withhold.
And a lot of that does depend on,
not a way to edge it in,
but increase of population inside the game, right?
And what kind of load that puts on the train
when you have that many people on the train at one time,
you know, and I don't want to spill any alpha.
I want to do it all, you know?
I want to break everything.
They pretty much thrown us the keys to a Lambo
and said, hey, break the shit out of it.
Don't use the clutch, shift gears, you know?
And that's the fun part to me as a consumer right like paying attention to the cadence in which these things come out to the
consumer basis and get to roll along those lines and test it as it goes and see it as it actually
developed and grows and kind of uh kind of like what y'all said about you know j vegas doing the
tours out there with people is when we get to see those new things, tour it in our own way that's still interactive with no risk to the participant in games.
And I know that's a long run around your question as far as the alpha with the games go, but the team's always in there together.
We're always trying to set up to see vantage points, what we can test where I wish.
I don't wish the clubhouse was open to anybody, but I'm interested when it does kind of go to, you know, maybe a different D 200 people running through the enclosed area at one time to the other side to, know from front door to back door and what that does it's
just everything man shake it grab the cage and rattle it you know and that's that's that's what
we try to do every time you also found that I don't know if you call it glitch or buck right
when you if you are in the bubble and you enter the portal it actually you know let us in the bubble but we can walk around
it's great for the green light red light or green soup red lobster whatever machiavelli say there
yeah it's uh you know it's the way geez okay so gspot is actually the person who discovered
that bug in the other side because we were just in there playing early on and he's in the bubble and
he was like hey let
me launch myself through here and then when he did that you know it was just the matter of one
of us hopping in that bubble next and figuring out that once he launches us we could still hear him
and that's really kind of like when he put it in his head to be like hey like we can actually play
games like this guys like you know what i mean, it's kind of one of those things that help, you know,
this all came from a bug in the game.
And we've got to keep that bug.
And it's been, I think, so useful.
You know what I mean?
But, like, you wouldn't know unless you play around.
Like, as soon as I, like, the first day I found underneath the clubhouse
and I didn't share it with nobody, but I was getting in the windows.
They're like, how are you doing that?
And then I showed Baron the next day.
And then now everybody's in the windows every chance that they could get.
You know what I mean?
And we're hopping in and showing up wherever we could.
It's just finding a way to break or to do something you're not supposed to
in the game.
And I think we got very creative with that.
Like he was saying, test the limits.
You know, like this weekend coming up, I'll tell you all right now,
you want a little bit of alpha?
You want a little bit of a thing?
We want to open the most bubbles that we've ever opened at this games at one time.
We've hit about 200 at one time.
So this Saturday, if you want to be a part of other side history, you want to be a part of that first few hundred, maybe 400, maybe 500 bubbles.
We want to open the most bubbles we've ever opened in 5.5 in the swamp.
You know what I'm saying?
That's some alpha. Be there at the other5 in the swamp you know what i'm saying that's some alpha
be there at the other games eight you know what i'm saying you're gonna want to
maka maka valley um i saw a video on timeline of the team of other games and it's not a small team
but uh for the prospects in crowd because i'm getting so many dms uh that people want to work for you
especially for you macavel i don't know why so uh are you hiring um you know uh we might have
some type of system that uh you know it's kind of like a phasing system you know maybe volunteer
maybe i don't know i don't know what's gonna to happen. We're not hiring.
You hear the game master came in so quick there.
That was a long way to say no.
Don't be nice.
Just be honest.
I love you. You want to participate.
You want to be helpful. That's awesome. But absolutely not.
I love you.
We love a hard no.
We love a hard no.
That way when it turns into we back off on the hard no. We walk away. They still like us. We'll come hard no. We love a hard no. That way, when it turns into, you know, we back off on the hard no.
We walk away.
They still like us, and we'll come back.
We'll come back when they're ready.
We'll come back when they're ready.
It's not hiring just yet, but soon.
I mean, there's a lot of shit going on in the other world.
There's only so many hosts.
We get more than four experiences.
I don't know.
I'm just making shit up.
You know what's great, though?
We do have people right now that we can rely on while in-game, like JVegas, Dino Pond, several community members that are very helpful out there
and who are a regular part of the programming and stuff like that that we entrust.
And you know what I'm saying?
Like, it's been very, very, very helpful to have those four, five, six individuals
that show up that we can, you know, we know they're there, that will help.
And, you know, that's also been a pleasure, you know?
That's important.
Just show up to the games.
I promise you, you'll make money, bro.
Win the games.
Study the games.
Run around.
Do whatever.
And then just play.
We give out the majority of the money simply in the raffles for playing, for participating.
And it's easy.
It's free.
You don't need any assets.
I know there's a big confusion
for people outside of Ape Chain who think,
oh shit, I need a Yuga asset.
No, you do not.
Just log in. It's free.
And get your friend, get your grandma,
get the crackhead across the street. I keep saying it.
Get the mailman,
the milk boy, whoever it is, the pool boy.
I don't know who it is. And manage
it for them, bro. Just tell them, log in.
Imagine they win the raffles. They win $300.
Guess what? You can be their financial
advisor. Put the shit on your resume
and take their money from them.
Give them 10%. Be like, oh, look, look.
You made $30 for playing. Good for you.
I'm pretty sure they just shut down the
crackhead world in Roblox last week, so
maybe we don't need the crackhead, but everybody else
That I actually it was something worse, but I said that because it was on point with the conversation
So I'm just gonna say yes to your question hype. What's your favorite avatar so far in game?
What is it? What is it? The mutants? Is it the jeez is it the apes is it the voyager? What's your favorite? I
Mean to be honest i think the code is definitely the most details now but now that the means are
here i think they're definitely in my opinion the most unique um they're they were the last ones
added so i think they they definitely have been a new breath of fresh air to the ecosystem but i
think if i were to go back in time when we first
launched i think definitely kodas kodas were cool just to see the the gucci rails and to see these
little guys flying around and doing certain things that uh most of the larger avatars could not so
i definitely think that uh kodas is the way i would go for sure you know i love to hear that
i've had these kodas on forever i want my weapons james i don't care if i could use them or not i
want my damn way i just want to i want to flex them i just've had these codas on forever. I want my weapons, James. I don't care if I could use them or not. I want my damn weapon. I just want to flex them.
I just want it on my belt.
The apes can't have it. That's an important flex for me.
Hype, I asked you that question on purpose because you're like the IP guy.
Is there anything on your mind for what you'd like to see next?
So Mutants is your favorite. Is there an ape chain IP?
Is there an IP in another ecosystem?
I mean, I know you've got your own collections as well.
Definitely check out Hype's collections.
I think it's in his bio.
If you guys aren't and haven't checked out
the World of Things and the Rogue bots,
you guys are probably missing out.
So do check that out.
And maybe, so maybe aside from the easy answers,
what would you like to see maybe as a next IP
that gets added?
I think honestly's something that's
easily on boardable i think you know we talk about the the solana race today and opportunities
there's a lot of great ip over in solana you know not to say this is going to happen tomorrow but i
definitely think you know whether it's for ghana or like a clean a source or something of that
nature i think would be a great addition you know know, to the world. You know, right now we obviously have a lot of humanistic
figures in the world, you know,
in terms of the posturing and the way they move around.
But I think definitely if there was an IP play, I think we,
we look at some of the strongest IP on Solana, even on, you know,
I know there's not many on base, but even going back to the old ETH days,
there's a lot of great IP on ETH as well.
I think it'd be definitely an agradable, especially with E with eath you know being layer one and we all layer three i think there's a an easy way
to transition over like james was talking with shadows um there could be an opportunity there for
sure all right all right i'm seeing i'm seeing positive responses there i'm seeing i'm seeing
excitement in the crowd we love we love the ip we more characters. We don't want to just be in there. The apes look so much better if you could just throw in. Never mind. I won't say that.
Well, we're coming up here to just a bit over the 10 hour mark. I think we can look at starting to shut it down here pretty soon. What's up, Grateful?
Oh, I'm just saying just a little bit, you know,
but we love talking about ApeChain, other side,
so we can help ourselves to just talk about it.
I think people were in there getting paid.
I mean, if you guys joined the space,
you had an opportunity to go in there and shake some ass for Figgy
and get some ApeCoin.
You guys learned about the deployment on Solana.
You guys heard some alpha about different things you're going to be able
to do with your ape coin different things you're going to be able to do on you can send you'll be
able to send ape coin using the the solana banker bot and then and then wallchain is paying you for
talking about ape coin it's this is a crazy flywheel of social effects a lot of interesting
things for defy going on a. A lot of liquidity unlocking.
It was never there before.
I mean, we're going from zero to 100 on Solana this week.
The soon TM is out the door.
It's this week.
So this is pressing.
And the other side is currently open.
The link's in most of our bios.
It's launch.otherside.xyz.
If you guys haven't checked it out,
I think there's probably like 100 people sitting in there right now. Join bubble run around shake some ass maybe get some apecoin hype what's up
yeah i mean lastly i think from from the boys you know and i i think one of the things that
was mentioned you know in terms of people asking about work everybody's been working regardless
right the communities come together to do this you know it's well done that without them that
we wouldn't we wouldn't be here today doing the other games, right? So obviously everybody's been a
participant. So think of yourselves as really being a part of this team and supporting what
we've been building, obviously with James on stage. And I know, you know, Figgy and the crowd and a few
others that have supported us as well in the back end, as we're going through some of the games,
you know, we want to, we want to thank the Yuga team and we want to thank you guys as well on
Ape Chain and the Ape Co. team for really being there for us to really champion this and let us do this every week and support this because without you guys, again, we wouldn't be here doing this.
So I think that's the biggest thing.
And so shout out to everybody that's come through.
And hopefully, again, with all new people that are onboarding that experience, it may not seem easy, but just think of logging into a website for the first time and immersing yourselves.
Once you get in, once you see what's going on in the culture, I think you're going to
definitely see what's there to offer.
And especially with us, when we're doing on Saturdays, it's to onboard and participate.
So we appreciate it.
We love you guys.
You're doing such a great job.
And is there, maybe we to to the voice master here there's got one guy
Machiavelli he has a voice of an angel and we have another guy honeybee he has
a voice of I don't know but I didn't be terrible probably I didn't want to say it
here but you know anything you'd like to share about what's next for other games
so another side or on a chain you, any alpha that you can share here.
And we don't want to hear no, so share something, man.
Players, prepare yourselves.
This Saturday, the games will begin.
3 p.m. Eastern.
Make sure to follow G-Spot
Hype, Machiavelli
and other games XYZ
pinned up top. If everything you
need takes two clicks
literally click the link
log in with your social

Winning is not required, but I will make fun of you if you don't win.
Just saying.
Don't get mad.
And raffles for everyone that plays.
At the end of the day, we know this is like alpha.
This is an early build.
You might glitch out. You might get beat. You an early build. You might glitch out.
You might get,
you might be confused.
You might be lost.
There's no map.
You're going to be like,
what the fuck is going on?
But the whole point of this is to socialize,
talk to people.
Cause where else do you get to hang out
with the whole fucking Yuga team,
the ApeCo team,
the whole community?
you get to see all the legends,
all the biggest people in there, all the nicest people, people you usually don't get to see and that work with them, talk whole community. You know, you get to see all the legends, all the biggest people in there, all the
nicest people, people you usually don't get to see
and that work with them, talk to them.
And again, these motherfuckers, bro,
let's be real, these motherfuckers got bags,
brother. So good friends to have.
You know, they might hook you up.
They might put you in the right places.
They might give you some blow, some coke. I don't know.
I don't know, but go make friendships.
Go have fun, have a moment, and win some money. That's all I got to know. I don't know. But go make friendships. Go have fun. Have a moment.
And win some money.
That's all I got to say.
Other games on top.
Shout out to my team.
Because they're truly the legends.
Shout out to the community.
Because you guys are truly the legends.
This is only possible because of you guys.
And thank you again for bringing us up here to talk about other games.
And for letting us continue doing this.
It's a team effort.
It's all of us. I never see it as
just other games. I'm like,
bro, this is just us hanging out with
my friends on the
I'm glad everyone's having
fun doing it.
We'll be there, Legend.
As always.
I'm so excited that you already sent me the prizes
for the first place
it's incredible good tech dude we gotta we gotta send you your rings you know like the championship

were or rmj yes he's six out of six the same yeah yeah but see uh robert or he has seven rings oh my god but i love him too
man he's great but there's guy he actually okay let's stop it man he like he okay let's stop it
man let's let's stop it there we have a lot of here from la here and they would be pissed so
yeah love it love it you're all banned from the other side um yeah you're all banned um the ticker's ape the ticker
is apecoin the ticker is it's not a queen the ticker's ape the token is apecoin uh we're going
we're going places we're expanding we already exist on eath we already exist on our we already
have ape chain and now we're expanding our horizon even further we'll be on seoul this week make sure
you guys are prepared. Act accordingly.
We're also in the other side.
We're hanging out again.
Act accordingly.
A lot of things going on.
There was ApeCoin flying around today.
It looked like some new emojis unlocked this week.
There's always something cooking.
Unreal 5.5 unlocking a whole new way to experience the other side this week as well.
So if you hopped in last week, it's not the same as this week.
You've got to try it again.
Check out the other games this week.
That's Saturday, 3 p.m. ET.
3 p.m. ET.
It's pinned up at the top.
Go follow the other page account and make sure you guys don't miss those games.
Make sure you guys are tapped in with all of our speakers from today.
You guys can listen back.
This was a recorded space. Appreciate everybody for spending so much time with us here today.
I did have like a final
question. And since there's so few of us here, I mean, we could hit it, but it almost feels
redundant now. I mean, we heard from Figgy, we heard from James, we heard from some of the folks
building the stuff, but maybe I'll just ask my co-host. I actually feel like I haven't heard that much from you, Grateful. I kind of miss your wild aqua energy.
What does it mean to you?
I mean, we learned and we heard his perspective from Figgy about what the other side platform is
and a little bit about the future and what's going on there.
Now that we've had this conversation, I don't know if anything changed.
Maybe you're already a fucking super smart guy.
I think you are. I think you are.
But what does a Roblox killer
powered by ApeCoin mean to you? What does it mean
to you, Grateful?
Man, for me, it's definitely a
journey, right? It all started back in
the day with all the first trips
and everything that was happening back in the day.
And it was really exciting because I believe
that we have a better tool,
something as Machiavelli said, right?
To interact socially in the digital worlds.
And I think other side is an amazing place to actually experience that.
And the best way, guys, is to go there and to try open up the bubble
or join the other games and experience it by yourself and then you will see
what what i'm talking about because i really see huge potential i think crypto rails are
are a huge benefit uh because you see how transacting with uh with apecoin you know
it's super smooth super quick you don't need stripe or anything like that so for me is definitely creating experiences for
people and having fun enjoying the time you know vibing talking because we are you know i live in
in the middle of the europe right like i'm not hanging out like irl with you that that often
but we can hang out in the in the other side and that's amazing right like it's so much better for me than just talking
on spaces like walking around
experiencing stuff and I believe
there will be more and more
experiences for us and
you know you can see XP's
in the platform you can see
different skins
different wearables
different items you know
and so on and so on
so I'm really bullish
I'm trying to get more other deeds
100% the tool to find yours
guys and yeah
let's have fun, enjoy the time
you also learn a lot
and the best way how to learn is learn by
doing, that's why I'm trying to join everything
that I can, you know, whether it's other games,
whether it's meet at a clubhouse,
whether it's any other bubble happening there,
because you learn more and you can think about
use cases that you want to build on the other side.
So yeah, from my side, are you happy with the answer, Lost?
Yeah, I feel like you're sitting on Alpha now.
I feel like you got a chocolate factory.
I think I have a chocolate bar from you in my house. I don't know what you're plotting or planning, but if Grateful's staking out a plot, I'm definitely showing up. I can't wait throughout that we would have the time for people to come up at the end.
I'm going to be honest, we don't have a lot of time at the end. There wasn't a lot of time.
Some of our guests today just had a lot of incredible insight and we did have a pretty special panel here today.
I really appreciate everybody's time and people jumping on really almost at the drop of a dime to come up and spend all this time with us here today.
at the drop of a dime to come up and spend all this time with us here today. But I did see that
we got some of the ape chain degen, some of the natives, some of the voyagers. Baka is like a
half voyager. We got to really tune him into the other side map. But he's also one of the voices
of the ecosystem. So if you got a question or if you wanted something to share something,
I almost want to hit you with a question just to reverse the role
and just to include you before you have a chance to hit somebody else with a question.
But no, Baca, what's up?
Appreciate you stepping up.
Did you want to hit the other games team with a question
or just excited to be with us?
We're farming.
He's probably farming.
He was waiting for so long, bro.
He probably fell asleep.
