Quirk is pop out, eat your heart out
Fun so sweet, make the whole world show
We don't try hard, we just are what we are.
Shining so bright like a sky full of stars.
Tag, you're it, run it, back.
Color outside, every line we check.
Backpack, beach, tap, tap, clap.
Snack time, girl, with a juice box wrap.
Stick a stars on a denim sleeve.
Dream big stuff that grown folk Don't believe
Build a fort, make a stage
Everyday lit like a birthday glow
Laugh so loud, make the clouds pop
Whole squad glow, yeah, we too fly.
You feel this vibe, sing it one time, yeah.
Quick as pop out, eat your heart out.
Too cute, too loud, let the drums pound out.
Candy color waves when we move through town.
Whole world smile when we come around.
Quick as pop out, eat your heart out.
Sweet like sugar, but we wild, no doubt.
From the playground, to the stage we start. all right all right all right welcome everyone this is our much anticipated space here we're going to do a an hour-long session of a little 101 rundown
on what's going on here with other side quirks are going to be collabing well i won't i
won't get too deep into it but of course they're going to be collabing every friday we're gonna
have a game with the other side um and i uh i just yeah i just i'm i'm really excited to learning
more i i am i'm glad that i'm here i'm glad that i'm able uh to uh to be here and host a space
honored to do so in fact fact, because we have some gamers
in the house already coming in. I appreciate you and definitely share it out. Y'all are
the ones with the gaming algorithms because that's what you do. That's what you love.
I am going to be delving into this, and I love that we're going to be just kind of like getting the like I
say the 101 a rundown on everything that we are going to be doing with the
other side and there's been questions about avatars and questions about
functionality in the future and what what it means so we're gonna answer all
that and any other questions you have so So anyone in the next little while,
feel free to grab a mic. We're definitely going to do a little bit of a startup here, but I implore you to hit the purple pill or whatever version of it is down below there. Like and
repost and bookmark actually this space. Throw a little comment in there. Let us know your
questions or just say hello. That way we get that
algorithm fired up. This is Sam Adoption, by the way. Poppy will be here shortly, probably within
10 minutes or so. And we'll get him in on the lowdown here as well. So without further ado,
let me welcome everyone that's here. We'll start with HODLer Collective.
I'm seeing him as a listener up here.
I'm not sure if maybe it's just some Twitter side.
Is he a listener up here. I'm not sure if maybe it's just some Twitter side. Is he a speaker up here?
You know, through my skull face eye sockets, it looks like he's a speaker.
There's an unmute option there, but you know how X goes.
So why don't you take it, NGB?
No, thank you so much for having us up here.
Really excited to kick this off.
I think, you know, for me, myself, the quirky brand in the community has always been a strong one on the timeline in the Web3 space in general.
And, you know, Poppy has been a strong voice, you know, in BAYC, in the space in general as well.
you know, in BAYC, in the space in general as well.
And just incredible to be able to, you know,
activate the community inside of OtherSide
and be able to show some of the dope things
that we think people and communities can really rally around.
Whether it's simple, you know, experiences, simple chats,
or, you know, full-on games,
and maybe even getting deeper into some of the technicalities of OtherSide,
like MML and ODK, which really opens up the possibilities.
But all in all, super excited to kick off these events.
And I think as we continue to go on week to week,
we can look to bring out some new game modes, some more difficult things.
And let's focus on getting people set up for success for this coming Friday.
So please don't hesitate.
You know, if you have any questions, come up on the space.
If you have any questions, drop them in that purple pill as a reply,
and I'll be keeping my eyes peeled all throughout. And I'm also in the quirky Discord, so don't
hesitate. Same name in there as I am in here. If you have any questions regarding what wallet do I
use? How do I load in? What's the link? I'm there for you, and I think we're going to get into some
of that as well on the space. So thank you, guys. I appreciate you. And, uh, and you know, you've been, uh, just so,
so much, uh, proactive, uh, like asking everybody like a member and, and, and part of a cog in this
wheel, um, to get, to get this, uh, thing rolling, get us all onboarded and get started with, uh,
with something that really our community on the Quirky side has been
excited about and anticipating for quite some time.
Love to see the legends rolling in on both sides of the coin.
What is up and everyone else?
Dre, what's good to see you down there?
Yeah, good to see you all.
Yeah, please, again, one more time, like, repost.
I think what we're going to do for the most part, NGB, is have you and Bail kind of kick
this off, if y'all don't mind, because I know you two have, I've seen in the back channels,
I've been watching and learning every moment that you two have, I've seen in the back channels, I've been watching and learning
every moment that you two are getting into it, you know, just hearing you and seeing your,
you know, your dialogue in our chats. So, Bagel, let me welcome you up to the stage,
and everyone else continue to share this out, and we're really going to get rolling here
very soon. So, any questions that you have, either put them in the comments or put them in your
pocket and grab a mic when you think the time is right over the course of the next hour
what's up bagel going on stan what's up spend by the way i do apologize for the uh mishap when i
i think i was talking about the other games even in the earlier. I know, yeah, I know it is you guys, no doubt about that.
But, yeah, no, it's good to be here.
I'm really passionate about Other Side and Quirkies.
So, to kind of see this union, it's really, really cool to me.
And I'm, like, really blessed to be a part of this, you know.
I'm a very passionate gamer.
And that's just something I bring to the Quirkies community, you know.
Like, people who want to play games with me do, right? Like, I play a ton of different things, and it's just something I bring to the Quirkies community, you know, like people who want to play games with me do, right?
Like I play a ton of different things and it's just a lot of fun.
And I've been on the other side now for probably like five or six months,
and I've been pretty consistently on it, you know,
pouring the map, knocking out challenges and whatnot.
And I'm really excited to get into some of this like MML stuff.
I mean, it's really just amazing what I've seen so far from it,
some of the incredible vibe coding that's having like really, really cool stuff.
In fact, I'm getting help from Jake right now and building a like an island for my Wednesday spaces, Campfire Chronicles with keys.
He's helping us set up an island for that right now.
And he like vibe coded us like a really cool sign and everything.
And I'm actually going to try to like learn a little bit about his workflow and I'm probably gonna join the fun on that a little
bit try to develop some stuff for my spaces and I think Quirky's has the same potential you know
like regarding spaces I think it would be very cool to vibe code some very cool things in
to have spaces and stream them on x uh like from other side though I think it would be a really
cool thing to bring at the table so to kind of of see this union here, great to be a part of it, man.
Yeah, no, not only a part of it, but an integral part of it.
I can tell already you're really like just so appreciated by me.
And I speak for the Quirkies community and thanking you both for getting us rolling with this.
Because like I said, I mean, it has been a long time since uh we had a little tease uh from um from the quirkies that powers that be um that
this could be a thing it was gonna be a thing um and then it's been a while so we're uh yeah we're
super super stoked and we're getting rolling then um spendend, tomorrow is, is, is tomorrow going to be the first day?
Tomorrow is going to be the first day.
4 p.m. Eastern every Friday.
You should be marking your calendars for some fun game time in the other side with the Corky's community and with the other side community.
Of course, you know, we want you to bring your Corky's. We want you to show off your Corky's. But we do want this space to be open to anyone.
So if you are interested in the Corky's brand and all things that they're building,
and maybe you want to learn more and get exposure to the community,
this is a way that you can do so firsthand through the other side event.
So I'm super excited to kick these off.
I do want to say I believe Loss is up here now if you want to say any words.
And then we can get into maybe Best Flow and where users should be going and Bagel.
Were you referring to Cyber Jake? Is that who's cooking with you?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, that's the homie right there. So big shout out to him.
He might pop in here at some point. But yeah, no, I've just been kind of watching him work a little bit.
It's really, really good stuff. And he's helped me out quite a bit here with my Wednesday spaces in terms of just trying to curate that oversight experience.
And I'm really, really grateful for it.
I mean, you should ask him about some of the shit he's cooking.
I mean, I've posted some of it, but I still got a little bit more to post.
But it's really fun and funny what he's doing.
He's a straight-up legend, man.
I've been chatting with him for a bit on the side, and i actually think he gave me a little preview of what's going on that's why i had to confirm it
was him but super dope and i love that you're getting into that i would love to touch on this
in the space as well later but mml is just something new that's rolled out another side
um and you know if you need any help any questions regarding anything to do with mml
um you know i want to make sure we're an open door for that.
But one big thing I do want to say before I pass it over to Lost is I know the other side as a
brand has been something that maybe people are familiar with from multiple years back,
from maybe even a year back, from first trip, second trip, all those kind of experiences.
I would say the other side that you are running into today is very different from what
it was a year ago, very different from the experiences that you've seen two, three years ago.
And I think right now, while it's still very early, there's so many unique things that you can do. And
I think it takes the connectivity and I think the touch of what we do every day digitally behind 2D still screens and, you know, amplifies it,
brings it to life via 3D, you know, instead of a Twitter space where we're dropping, you know,
hearts or something as a reply, I could be twerking, I could drop you a heart feels in the
game and you can see it a bit more. I think it's just that next level connectivity is only just
now beginning in other sides. So yeah yeah, I said a lot there.
But the key point there is maybe you've ran into other side at any point of your crypto journey over the past three, four years.
But if you haven't ran into it since the top of this year, you will be running into something new, something you have not experienced yet.
And I say come on and join us.
Yeah, I'm up here with you guys. Appreciate it. I'm looking
forward to getting these kicked off and I'm looking forward to tomorrow as well and starting
to see the community coming alive. I don't really have, I mean, anything to add other than my own
excitement and maybe even just a small note. Like to Spence point, the experience has changed so
much over the, I don't know, the past three months.
It's not even been a full three months yet.
The past several months there in the other side with all these avatars coming in every single week.
And there was the initial intro video that probably a lot of the crypto native folks are familiar with,
where you saw the World of Women and the Forgotten Runes Wiz wizards and the crypto punks sort of all in that spaceship arriving. But over the past, you know, two or
three months, it feels like damn near the entire crypto community has pulled up in a SpaceX size
shuttle one by one. I mean, just a hundred at a time pulling up into the other side,
bringing, you know, the whole families, their communities, their passion,
their drive, their IP, everything they're building, what's next, and finding a way to bring it to life
in the other side, not just with the avatars, but unique experiences and interesting tokenomics
and game loops. There's so many of them. I mean, Mebets comes to mind as one of the big ETH communities alongside, obviously,
Quirky's here who's been just continuing to drive IP forward and building fun things
for their community to do.
And I mean, yeah, it's like a privilege.
It's great to be able to bring our communities together and to have fun and have a platform
for all the, I don't know, the powerful people in our communities to really unleash their,
I love it. Couldn't have said it any better myself. Um, Bagel,
how do you think we should kick off this on board? I see Poppy's joining us.
I've seen a couple of other folks up here as well.
Not sure if we want to go around the horn and say hi before we jump into some
Yeah, I want to jump in first.
Sorry I was a couple minutes late.
We had another space that we were wrapping up
and happy to figure out how to get on both at the same time.
It was quite the task, but shout out to Sam.
Called me in for the bullpen
yeah sam got the call from the bullpen just in time just in time for baseball season um you know
look first off uh wanted to say thank you to you guys uh spend and and lost obviously i'm holder
um we've been friends and acquaintances for a long time, right? I've big part of the Ugo ecosystem,
Ugo ecosystem for four years, traded hundreds of apes. And I know both of you very well. So,
um, very happy when you guys reached out and, you know, show Corky some love. Um, you know,
we're getting a lot of, uh, a lot of new love, obviously new momentum, new love, but, um,
lot of, uh, a lot of new love, obviously new momentum, new love, but, um, you know, genuinely,
uh, you know, Gordon was one of the first big, big, uh, people in the space to support Quirkies
put, put his stamp on it. I'll never, never forget that. Garga, Figgy, they've been amazing
friends to me. And, you know, as long as my boy cat is rocking an APFP, I'm bullish, you know? So
thank you to you guys for, for reaching out. Obviously, you know, I got to give a shout out
to Bagel. Also Piff, two great members of Quirky's. Piff, a part of the team. Bagel's
a newer member of Quirky's last few months, but is somebody that I've
grown extremely, uh, favorable to somebody with a great, great mindset, great attitude for success
and really loves quirky's man. So, um, you know, it was kind of a no brainer to say to these guys,
look, we have this opportunity with the other side. Um, You know, I've got a million and 10 things going on.
So I really need some people that I trust
who can step in here and represent the community well.
And so for everyone in Quirkies,
you know, just know that, you know,
Bagel and Piff are going to be two guys you can lean on.
Of course, we're going to be activating in the other side.
So the Apeco team being like hands-on with us, guys you can lean on. Of course, we're going to be activating in the other side. So, uh, the
ape co team being like hands-on with us kind of turnkey, everything was a big deal. Um, we have
a lot on our plate, so it's tough. You know, you don't want to, you don't want to dilute resources,
but in a moment like this, it really just, just made a lot of sense for us to say, okay, it's time.
So anyway, that's all I really wanted to tell you guys was,
I'm happy we're doing this.
I think the other side is going to be a big contributor
to, you know, Web3 IPs coming together.
You know, we are affiliated with a couple other games and metaverses that i think are going to help do the same thing but you know the other side has a
chance to be you know a very big catalyst for nft utility actual giving people their ip in the palm
of their hand that they control move around interact
and i'm very big on ip it's the reason why we bought the quirky brand so um i'll park it there
but yeah thank you guys a lot for the opportunity and thanks everybody for showing up if you could
go repost it uh you know 57 people 37 repost. Um, and, uh, we will see you guys tomorrow
for the first other side exploration. I, I may or may not be able to pop in and out of this space
to speak, but I'll be here to listen. We got to get ready for my son's soccer practice. So I'm,
uh, multitasking on that, but, uh, but anyway, yeah, thanks guys.
multitasking on that. But, uh, but anyway, yeah, thanks guys.
I appreciate that, man. I think, you know,
your point there around giving people the power with their IP inside of other
side. I think we're, we're very aligned with that. And, you know,
we gave you some flowers at the beginning,
but there's not enough flowers in the world to give you, you know,
you've been, you showed up every day for multiple years.
You've had a great positive vibe, you know,
you've done an amazing job building out the community.
So again, we're lucky and we're blessed to have so many eager community members in the Yuga ecosystem,
but also communities themselves that stand alone that I think just activate people, bring great experiences,
whether it's digital, whether it's physical.
And I think you guys have been leading that for multiple years.
And yeah, I think, you know, just in general, super excited to kick off these games.
MML World, all that is, you know, it's a bit of a can of worms, but I think we start off simple.
We get people in, get them through the intro, get them in a little bubble you know show them around show
them the mechanics show them what buttons to click maybe what buttons not to click um and yeah you
know i'm i'm definitely excited yeah yeah just follow me i'm gonna show you which buttons not
to click my bad my bad yeah just follow me though if you want to get lost we'll make sure we'll make
sure you break some stuff.
Yeah, I just wanted to say thank you again to Poppy, bro.
With the best people in Web3.
That's exactly why I'm here and I've doubled down on it so much.
Other side is obviously something I'm passionate about
and learning how to build here.
It's something that I really want to do in Web3.
with you guys man no doubt i got good people in the corner on the back end you know motivate me
push me to reach my potential in certain ways so we're losing you a little bit we're losing you a
little bit just a heads up oh really okay i might have to do it for my uh airpods then because i'm
trying to run this on the computer right now but not working so well um but yeah i think we should start by explaining how to onboard to other side
yeah man let's do it i think the easiest way as always please only use official links uh stay
safe who uh the other side meta at other side, is the official X account where any major updates, anything that you need to know about the Otherside will be shared there.
So make sure you're giving it a follow if you aren't yet.
And there in the bio, you have the official Otherside link.
So to access the Otherside, you go to Otherside.xyz and you load up this page.
So there are a couple stuff there when you first hit the page.
It says enter. It says log in. You don't have an account.
How do you know what account you use? How do you sign in? How do you operate in Other Side?
To enter the Other Side, you will need to create a Glyph wallet.
This is a Yuga Labs wallet.
I know I said that. That may seem a bit daunting.
Like, oh, another wallet to manage. It's very simple. It is a wallet powered by Privy. It is
a smart wallet. It's not a wallet like MetaMask, but you can, you know, export the seed. The best
way to do it is if you have a wallet that has your Quarkies in it and you feel, you know, that's the
wallet that you use, you can sign in to
other side with the wallet that you use.
So you can continue with wallet.
That will create a Glyph account that is tied to that wallet address.
So that means to access this account, you will then, again, always sign in with your
That's a pretty basic flow, and I think a lot of people do that with a majority of the
Web3 websites that they use.
Sign in with your wallet, confirm your signature, and you're good to go.
The main reason I say use the wallet that has ownership of your Quarkies is so that you can have your Quarkies avatar right there ready for you to use.
If you go the other route, let's say you want to sign in via X, let's say you want to create a login via email, which means anytime you want to access the other side, you either need to confirm the authorization on X or get a code from your email, type that in, and you'll be good to go.
If you go the other route, let's say you want to sign in via X.
Those paths are very solid and great ways to go.
But if you do, then once you get in, you will need to add the wallet that holds your Quarkies as a
connected wallet. And then that's how you can display your assets. So I said a lot there. I
saw a bagel drop. So let's scale it back a little bit for folks. Once you decide the route that you
want to go, the route that you want to sign into other side, you need to keep this in mind because
your other side profile, your progress and everything will be tied to that Glyph account, tied to that Glyph wallet.
So if you sign in via the wallet address, you know, your wallet access, you'll need to do that every single time you go into the other side.
If you do, if you sign in with, you know, X as a primary, you need to do that every time you go into the other side.
So I would say figure out which method is best.
I would suggest the wallet if you want to make the avatar thing much easier for you.
If not, I personally use X, which is a pretty easy method.
You usually have access to your X at all times.
So once you're signed in, once you have an account, once you decide which way you want it to go, you log in and boom, you'll be on the homepage of OtherSide.
From there, you have two different routes. Bagel, I'm not sure if you caught any of the
breakdown I gave there. Did you have any questions? Did that feel good?
No, that definitely felt good. I'm sorry. I did drop because I was switching over to my AirPods,
so I should sound a lot better now. But yeah, no, I think that's a pretty good explanation.
Maybe just, I'm sorry if I missed it, but did you explain the Glyph wallet to them, perchance?
So that's kind of what I was getting into as that is the main method that you will be using to access the other side, right?
And then the way that you sign into that Glyph wallet, you'll need to use that same method every time.
So if you create a Glyph wallet via your MetaMask, create a Glyph wallet via your X, that's the way you need to sign in in the future.
There are other ways to add more login methods to your Glyph wallet, but we can get into that a bit later.
So let's say you went ahead, you signed up.
You signed up via the Connect wallet route.
You have an account now. It's likely going to tell you to pick a name. Be smart with your username.
You can change this at any time, but you can't have a username that someone else already has. So
you know, for me, I have an NGB account. You know, if I have my alt, it has to be like NGB1XYZ. So
just be mindful on your username. Don't make anything inappropriate.
It could be the same as your X name if it's available.
Claim that and then enter the other side.
Other side is pretty interesting.
There is a client version that you can download and access.
And this is the preferred method if you want the best high quality experience in terms of graphics, no lag, and just full on other side experience,
but it is also accessible via streaming. So that means you can enter the other side
in a Google Chrome browser and stream the game live in your Google Chrome browser. So you can
play and have the full experience of other side via streaming. One key note there is you can't
really control the graphics. The graphics are set by your device and the performance of your device on streaming. If you're on client, you can
kind of, you know, go to max settings, whatever your computer supports and get like the full
fidelity of other side. Streaming is super easy to access, makes it, you know, works just as great
as client. And you don't need to download anything.
So there are a lot of pros to streaming.
There are a lot of pros to Client.
So whichever way I say, you know, whichever way you feel like it's best for your play style, go ahead, ape in.
The Client is very simple to download.
I think it's, you know, one gig, maybe very, very, very small file, five-minute download, and you'll be good to go.
So, yeah, let's say you signed into Glyph, right?
You're in the other side, but you signed in and you made a Glyph account through X. So how is it
going to read your Quirky assets? How are you going to be able to, you know, just run around
in your Quirky and the other side? There's a quick and easy solution for that. So if you did not go the wallet
route that's holding the asset, then on the homepage of otherside.xyz, when you're signed in,
you're going to see your name on the top right. You click there, and then you're going to see
connected wallets. It's going to show you your Glyph wallet, your wallet address, and then any other available wallets that you have tied there.
So if you signed in via X, you don't have an extra wallet tied in there.
You can go to view assets and wallets on the other side page.
Add the wallet that's holding your asset.
You are not approving anything.
You are not giving control of your wallet by any extent.
It is a read-only signature.
So we can check those assets, validate that you hold your Corky, and give you that avatar in-game.
So those are the two routes to kind of get set up with your Corky avatar before you even get in the game.
you even get in the game. So make sure you're set up. Again, if anybody that's listening to this
So make sure you're set up.
runs into that flow, runs into an issue with that flow, I am in the Quirky's Discord. I'm on X. Don't
hesitate to ping me there. Drop me a DM, and we'll make sure we get you ready with your Quirky by
Friday. If you are a first-time Other Side user, you should go ahead and knock out this process prior to our 4 p.m. Eastern game time.
There is a 5 to 10 minute tutorial, depending on your skill level, could be 15. That takes you
through the very basic story of Other Side, takes you through some basic controls, some basic
mechanisms, but that is not a skippable tutorial. So if you want to join us for that 4 p.m. Eastern time, you would need to have that tutorial and intro screen done.
Of course, again, if you get caught up anywhere, I want to be an open door.
Don't hesitate to reach out.
And yeah, from there, you should be able to access the other side.
You should have your avatar showing.
Let's say you did that all right you signed in
you did the tutorial now what you likely loaded in and you are sitting in the nexus this is the
original spawn area right now you know if you load into the nexus you're gonna come in here
you're likely gonna see a lot of other users just hanging around the spawn. You're going to see a bunch of buttons on your screen, right?
I'm loading into the other side right now.
If anybody's in there, you know, we can go through this live, so don't hesitate.
But as you're going through things, you can click P.
So the P button will access your profile.
You give it a second, it populates the in-game screen.
In that profile section, you should see the avatar tab. When you load in, you're going to load in as a default
Voyager skin. This is the base skin for the other side. As you level up in the game, as you complete
task in the game, you'll get XP, you'll level up, and you'll unlock new in-game skins that you can
attach to that Voyager skin
and customize your skin as you continue to progress in Other Side.
But let's get you started in Other Side.
I see Bagel over here doing 360 flips, and it's quirky, looking fly.
After you hit P, you go to Avatar, and then you select your quirky.
You do need to select it and then equip.
So it takes two clicks there. You knock that out. You should see that update in game and boom, you're ready to stunt in the other side in your quirky.
going to kick off the event in a bubble style. So a bubble is honestly kind of like a Twitter space
in the other side, except it's literal. It puts you in a bubble in the air where hosts can speak
to the audience. You can bring up speakers. You can do all the kind of stuff. There's also a free
roam bubble, which is kind of like a party chatting game where you're able to roam around the map,
but hear the audio of people chatting inside that party.
We will be kicking off the event inside of a bubble.
So at that 4 p.m. Eastern time, we'll be in the bubble in the Nexus.
So all you have to do, knock out your tutorial, make sure you're all signed up, you're locked
in and load in to the other side at 4 p.m. Eastern on tomorrow, excuse me, today's Thursday,
on Friday, every Friday moving forward. And when you're in there, you're going to click the T button. The T button populates
the bubbles. You can create your bubble, but that's not going to help you for what's happening
on this Friday. You're going to want to go to Browse Bubble. When you Browse Bubble, you'll
likely see a bubble hosted by myself or by Bagel, someone on the Corky team.
Pay attention to the chat. We'll let you know.
We'll probably be screaming at you in the game as well of like, join this Bubble, join this Bubble.
You'll catch the drift sooner than later.
You join the Bubble very easy via the UI.
You'll prop in there. You can request to speak if you'd like.
And yeah, from there, we'll kind of go through the run of show,
A lot of our games that we are going to kick off this event, Will,
are going to be very basic mechanic games,
just so that users can get a first experience of the other side.
We don't want to throw you into complex gem rush games
that you have to work with 30 people and collect all the gems
within 20, 30 seconds or you lose.
You're not getting on the leaderboard. Very simple fun games, relay races, maybe some hide and seek, more social aspect
games. And as we continue to onboard the quirky community, you know, maybe we make our way into
the MML world. Maybe we have special mini games, quirky branded, that we can roll out in the future.
But yeah, I said a lot there. Try to give you the 0 to 100 of creating your Glyph account,
loading into OtherSide, and accessing that Quirky's avatar
and being ready for our bubble tomorrow.
Do we have any questions from anybody on the space
that we feel like maybe other users may have?
I am cycling through the replies to see if there's anything in here to call out,
but it looks like we're good.
I do see someone did a really dope edit of it looks like they're quirkies
on the other side, similar to how we did the announcement graphics.
So big shout-out to J. Ross. It's looking dope.
But yeah, are there any questions?
I just want to add before anybody asks that I am
streaming this in the Discord for anybody
who maybe is thinking about getting on
or whatever. You can hop in the Quirkies Discord
and just watch my screen and see what I'm doing.
I'm just chilling here with
Holder and Piff right now.
We're chilling. He's twerking.
Holder's twerking right now.
Confirmed. Confir chilling. He's twerking. Holder's twerking right now. Confirmed.
Confirmed. That's an important
You got to press B. You got to press B.
Access to emotes. Fuck the bubbles.
You can twerk. I'll break dance.
There we go. Now we got it going on. See, now we're
too. If you guys got lost,
because I don't see everybody in here yet,
if you want to set up your GlyphWallet later, you can just bookmark or head into that
thread up at the top too to get your GlyphWallet set up.
You can do it on your own. You can do it on your
phone if you want to use social
There's a little extra thread there too,
but Japan did a great job so you could just listen back too.
You could just open the website and follow the flow.
I pinned that up there for you.
you threw the best alley-oop right there,
I was so focused on run of show,
for the event, but I mean,
that's the other side, man. I don't know if you noticed, but you'll probably see hundreds of
different avatars shaking that thing throughout other side. There's other dope emotes like the
Amazon emote where you can turn any avatar into the other side into an Amazon box through the
emote and it pops right out. You know. There's group emotes where you can hug
people, where it's like, hey, I can't hug you in the Twitter space if I miss you, but in the game,
pop up the hug emote. I walk up to you, click E. I can give you a nice warm hug. I can throw some
ApeCoin on you. All that is accessible via that B button. Emotes, there's a thing called feels
that you can earn as you level
up or you can purchase via Amazon. There's a couple feels available for like Chimper's G's,
Codas, you know, a lot of good stuff. But those are all accessible in that emote wheel.
And it just gives you that next level of, I think, connectivity with your audience of,
doesn't like something, or maybe you made a comment that they do like, and you see them
cheering, and you see, you know, your audience of 90 different avatars are cheering with the same
emote. I think it hits different than, you know, maybe seeing a high five or thumbs up on the
Twitter space. But what's going on, Dave? I appreciate the hundreds.
Don't think I don't appreciate them.
I just love to see them in Other Side more.
Did you have a question, man, or anything regarding Other Side?
I was just going to say congratulations, man. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm definitely going to be in.
I was trying to accept somebody. I think I hit mute everybody.
I'm not built for this Twitter space stuff.
Catch me in the other side bubble.
I'm so sorry, Dave. Keep doing it.
I'm used to getting muted anyway.
But, yeah, congratulations.
You know, Quirkies is one of those projects that just is never going to go away, you know, just like there's a few other ones.
Not going to make any of today's Quirkies Day.
And I'm looking forward to being on the other side and, you know, touching base with all the Quirkies.
And yeah, appreciate the kind words.
What's going on, Red Goat?
Hope y'all are doing great.
But my question actually is more about the future.
As I use my iPad a lot, and I mean, I try to log in.
I can use the streaming mode, but I was wondering if there is any plan to have a client that is mobile for, you know,
for people who want to play more on iPad than computers, if that makes sense.
And also, happy to see you guys.
I'm so excited about the Queer Kids other side.
Actually, the Queer Kids community is so creative,
and I cannot wait to see what they're going to vibe code
and create as experiences.
It's great to see a familiar face up here.
And yeah, that's honestly one of the things i'm more excited about like i can't wait to see what quirkies start
the vibe code and cook up in mml's i i mean bagel already beat us to the punch cyber jakey's over
here dropping me a whole fucking island that they're cooking up so i'm excited to to test it
out and then get it live in the world. But to answer your question regarding mobile, mobile is on the other side team's thoughts.
I don't think, like, I don't have an ETA of, like, when that would be,
but I would definitely say, like, mobile gaming is something that we know,
you know, can't be done on the other side right now,
and it's something we definitely want to have other side to be accessible
via mobile, via phone, all that good stuff.
So, yeah, I would say stay tuned to the
other side page. And the second we have news around that, we'll be sure to go very loud around that.
Yeah, I actually wanted to note that, you know, part of the reason why something like a game like
this would be tough on mobile is because of how demanding it is on hardware um so it's just one of those things where obviously it would probably be coming if it was
possible so it's just all about like the phone hardware and just the ipad hardware and whatnot
just placing limitations on performance uh i mean to be completely honest they probably overheat so
that's probably the biggest reason why it's not available on mobile.
Yeah, well, no, that makes completely sense.
If I take an example of bigger games, they kind of have a different... I mean, you have the same game, but kind of a more restricted...
Sorry, that's the other side sound.
More restricted kind of access to it.
And I can see that happening for the other side
in the future where like you can have maybe
not the creative side, but just kind of the access
to some experiences through mobile.
So you can maybe like kind of tap in into specific maps
or like just kind of games
that they are not that demanding, sorry.
But yeah, something maybe to think think about but it's just cool
uh cool to see that happening yeah i love it i think one of the things that are probably uh you
know maybe closer in the future is like being able to listen to a bubble for mobile right where it's
like you know maybe we can just relay that audio and you can still have the experience of joining
in on a bubble that the community is doing without being there physically.
But yeah, I think you're spot on.
I do want to flag one thing that looks like Diego asked in the questions.
I think it's a really great question.
He said, sir, is the avatar tradable or is it only for Quarkis?
It's an interesting question.
The avatar is tied to your Quarkis ETH NFT. So you can't trade the avatar. It's it as a secondary option again no approvals it's a read-only signature super safe make sure
to use the official link so and then diego asked uh is area nft uh one of one lookalike avatar
or different um and i believe it is the is this a certain quirky mascot? I apologize for not knowing.
What is the avatar that people have live here?
Or did you guys just land on what you felt like would be a great other side quirky avatar?
The one model that everyone is using.
Yeah, so the first, I'll jump in here.
Yeah, so the first quirky that we did in the other side is Kirk the Quirk.
That is our main character.
He is kind of our Mickey Mouse, I guess, is the easiest comparison, right?
He's our North Star character.
So we did start with Kirk as the Avatar.
Put that together actually quite some time ago.
You know, based upon, I think one of the big things is is resources right if this was our metaverse we would probably go ahead and do all
the avatars but a lot of it we have a pretty big you know roadmap and a lot of stuff that we're
doing and budgets allocated so before we went crazy doing each individual quirky, which I'm kind of
happy we didn't because technology has grown a lot and changed, you know, with the way AI is
going soon enough, you'll be able to pop your, you know, NFT in there and, you know, bang out
an avatar. I mean, you guys should see some of the work Piff is doing, with you know 3d characters when you guys see this quirkies
abc's quirk kids abc's video you're gonna lose it knowing that he did it in about 10 days so
um yeah for now it's kirk the quirk uh we are preparing um to bring an avatar for inks and
for quirklings to the other side as well uh obviously og quirkies
sitting at a little bit over an eath easy for some you know lifetime goal for others and we
understand that so we do want uh quirkling holders to have um you know their ability and and inks is
a big part of our ecosystem especially with the mint coming up. So we'll be working on bringing the main characters, you know, from those collections into the fold as well.
But yeah, for now, everybody plays as Kirk and we'll see how it evolves over time.
Hell yeah, man. I love to see Kirk alive in other side. Kirk, sorry. Superfly.
And I think you mentioned something really interesting there, man.
You know, I love that you went the route of one avatar.
I think that's something we've seen across the board, right?
People ask, like, oh, do we need to have all of our avatar?
It's great, yeah, but as long as you can get one in there,
get your community active to rally around your IP,
I think that's a great way to start and
you meant you hit the nail on the head man like technology is moving so fast that if you were to
do you know a whole collection worth of avatars it's a whole different workflow than it was six
months ago it will likely be a whole different workflow in another six months so um super dope
is that alpha did you just share some more alpha more of the quirky ecosystem activating as avatars in other side?
I didn't know that until just now.
So I appreciate that alpha.
And that means I definitely need to double back on some inks, get them quickly.
Was that posted anywhere?
Or was that, is that, you know, the little leaky leaky?
No, that's just Poppy being Poppy.py you know that's just me being me um we are uh so there you go i like to listen
i like to drop like little alpha stuff like that on spaces because only people who show up hear it
most people are too lazy to listen to the recording so you know and and typically what's you know spoken about is a
lot more clear than what's written so uh so yeah it was a little alpha we are working on it and
dude piff has been cooking up in blender so that might be something we try to get done here at
least for corklings and inks very soon let's let's see what we can put together.
And, yeah, man, I mean, you have Piff cooking on the 3D.
You have Bagel diving into MML.
Those things go hand-in-hand really well.
Like, you know, would love to see what Piff is working on. And, you know, maybe sooner than later you see a 100-foot Corky just chilling around the other side for one of our game days.
I think all that's possible. All we need is the 3D files to prop them in there. So stay tuned. We have a lot of fun
planned. Let me double back through some of these comments here making sure I'm not missing anything.
We are having a little dance party here in the other side spawn. So please come on spawn in.
Turn around to the turn around look right behind you and you're going to see a little twerk party
Come shake that little quirk booty with us if you are around.
I'm not seeing any other questions.
Thank you, Diego, for the good ones.
I know you can't see me on the stage,
but just because it came up about how to access the avatars,
and it could be relevant for folks who are kind of
exploring around because we do have so many people just sort of natively living around the other side
now and you run into all sorts of things. One of the things that you might run into and that you
can do as you cross other people is you'll see there's like a tool tip to press F and that'll
let you view the other person's profile.
One of the things that's already built into the other side,
and it works, is there is a marketplace.
And it's not like a traditional marketplace
with all the listings aggregated.
Each player actually sort of has their own individual marketplace.
So when you go in there, if you wanted to list your avatars,
if you have something that you've created
that you've built into the game,
because there is a path to get
your own sort of custom avatars
However you want to set your marketplace up,
that is already built right into your profile.
So if you have things in your inventory,
things that are in that wallet,
that are NFTs that you wanted to list, they need to be white listed on the platform but there's
there's a pretty wide range of those nfts that are already white listed um and and if you wanted to
you can you know you can you can trade uh or sell or buy the those nfts and so pretty much what
you're saying is piff can become the quirk dealer of the other side the certified quirk dealer
Piff can become the quirk dealer of the other side.
A certified quirk dealer.
Yeah, I mean, there's already a wearables ecosystem,
and we'll continue to see that evolve.
So it's very easy to imagine that one day during a game session,
maybe at the end of the session, at the start of the session,
Piff is maybe walking around with an inventory full of wearables that are only available during that session.
And you got to go and sort of visit the store and pick those out if you want them.
There's all sorts of ideas and opportunities there, but it is already built in.
It's there for creators, for you guys, for people.
And do you see people already starting to use those features in the game.
And the other thing too is just shout out to some of the people building in the community
because it is really easy now to plug in some images, to plug in some pictures into some
I don't want to get people too confused, but there's a bunch of tools that do already exist.
Crypto native, tools from the community.
I'm not just talking about different AI models
or whatever, but things that are deliberately built for other side and for metaverse platforms.
And that will allow you to take images and come out pretty quickly with a rigged avatar or
like an item or a model, like a Ferris wheel I'm not just a static item, but maybe a looping,
uh, animated item. Um, and, and, and really without any sort of technical animator or
illustrator or, or, you know, those creatives, you know, hard skills. And, and we're here now,
we're here, we're here now people spend built the whole Disneyland, um, you know, in, in like
a week. Um, so we're, we're here. It's, it's happening. It's pretty cool.
How easy is it? Uh, Piff might ask this question, but sorry, Piff. Um, just was curious how easy
it is, uh, for people to create avatars and get, I know you mentioned like the whitelist thing and
stuff. What is that process? Like if Piff has already created a bunch of 3d avatars, 3d characters,
how easy is it for him to get those over?
So there are a couple of routes, right? If you want like the quickest route, um, open page offers
a pretty smooth and, you know, frictionless process of being able to upload
an avatar. When you do it that way, the avatar itself would need to be equipped to the OpenPage
avatar, which then allows you to go past the whitelisting, go past all that stuff. As soon
as your avatar is approved on the OpenPage avatar,, on the open page page, people can mint it, people can equip it, people can use it in OtherSide.
There is the other route, which is like the route that Quirky's went, where if you want an avatar tied to a specific contract, something new, there is a pipeline and a request form at Otherside.xyz slash avatars.
pipeline in a request form at otherside.xyz slash avatars.
But I think, you know, it also just depends on what exactly you're trying to roll out, right?
Like if you're trying to roll out something that's already, that's in addition to, you know,
the Quirky's avatar or something that you have going on, there's probably some other routes.
If it's like introducing a brand new fresh collection into other side um there's that avatar
submission route and then if you just want to like try out and you know within you know depending on
the approval time but from like generation to upload you can have a other side avatar live within
an hour or two uh through open page if you just want to test out and be like okay how does this
3d file look how does this maneuver in the other side? Open pages is a good resource for that. And feel free
Piss, you know, or Poppy, if that was your question, Piss, you know, don't hesitate. We
have that chat. Let us know what you're looking to activate and we can try to find out like a
better and smoother route to get that live live in other side well yeah two things
first i'm over here in the other side now did you just gift me something through other side
it's good tech yes sir so as lost was giving you the explanation of the interact tab i was knocking
out sending you and bagel some ape coin and ape chain ApeChainNFTs through other sites.
You just walk up, you press F, you can see what I'm holding.
You can kind of pocket watch there.
But if you click F on the top right, there's Send Token, Send NFT,
and anything that's held in that Glyph wallet directly, ApeChainNFTs, ApeCoin,
can be sent in other side directly to your wallet so yes i did
just give you two things i think you have a feel so if you press b you may be able to see a new
feel on your emote if you cycle through there um hopefully that answers your question
oh yeah and um the second question is yeah i was gonna ask if was going to ask if we wanted to add to our current collection, what were the steps?
But I think you just went over that.
So I'll definitely be hitting you guys up to see if we can start pushing to do something like that.
I do have a couple of models in mind that I would love to bring in.
I'm going to get Poppy the okay at first,
but once we get the okay,
I'll get with y'all and see what we can do.
I think there'll be great additions to add for future game nights.
If that's what I think it is, it's approved.
so I'm thinking about bringing both of those in.
Let's do it. Let's do it.
Share it with me and let's figure out how to bring it live.
We've been dropping a lot of alpha on this space, man.
I hope people are tapped in and paying attention.
There's a lot of good stuff here.
And then through the MML world, that's something that's, you know, relatively new.
Launched earlier this week in Other Side.
And it's MML is metaverse markup language.
So the Other Side itself is built on this MML language.
It was created by M Squared, the tech side that kind of empowers Other Side.
And it's basically a coding language that anybody can lean on.
It's public information, mml.io slash docs.
And with this VibeCode world, what we've been able to do is
unleash the creative beast that is other side.
So like Lost mentioned, I made a kind of jank Disneyland,
which is basically just a bunch of mini games, you know, common stuff, beat the bridge before it falls down, race through here, here's a little maze, little puzzle games.
But it's been incredible to see other things that people have created, like Frosty's built a working Ferris wheel and dropped it right on the other side for people to experience, you know, riding around a Ferris wheel. And I think, you know, the way that we're headed with MML, you're going to be able to do a lot in the other side.
It's only going to be limited by your imagination.
You know, right now there are some technical, you know, limitations like interactions triggering things.
But over time, that's going to continue to wake up.
And, you know, even right now now you can do a lot in MML
I got a little preview of what the Corky's world might look like
or the Corky's island that's being made by Cyberjakey
and it's pretty high quality
so I'm excited to drop it in world
and share it with the team first
maybe you see it in the world and what what's going on up here piss you
You're just you're just linking all day today, huh? You got
What's going on here? Which quirky is this? I had to throw a little sneak peek, you know
I love this also I do want to say like there are there's so many different ways to go about your avatars another side, right?
Like you can have one single avatar. You can have avatars that tie into traits that like, hey, if if somebody holds this trait, they have access to this avatar.
So I love to see, you know, kind of the direction you're going here with. It looks like a skelly.
Let me let me give you a little backstory to this, OK, because this something that poppy didn't even know about until I officially showed its home to about a week ago
Like this idea. This is an idea I came up with it was strictly it came from the corkis logo
like I literally took the logo and just
put it into Chad Chpiti and was working around with models and image ideas.
And I came across this model idea and I built it out.
And then when I did that, I added it into Nifty Island.
So this avatar is in Nifty Island.
It's on my personal wallet.
It's not available to everybody.
I put it in there so I could test out the amateurs,
making sure it worked well with emotes and stuff like that the movements will do it and so far this this one is this model is 100 ready um for like nifty island but i need to know
how to get it 100 ready for other sides so this will definitely be coming in the near future
as we um grow and we kick off these game nights with other sides.
So y'all guys might see this.
This right here is just a little preview of what you could see and what could come.
Come join the fun and be ready for what's to come.
Sheesh, that's wicked, man.
And, you know, you said you did that all yourself.
I mean, you know, there's so many tools available now
to be able to create dope things.
You know, the skeleton vibe is interesting.
I think the biggest thing there is to bring it into the other side,
just need to make sure it's rigged properly with the skeleton.
But, you know, let's chat.
And there's other routes where, like, if you want to get it live quickly and tested in the other side,
that's something where I was talking about the open page route.
Maybe something where you can mint one just for yourself, not let anybody else use it.
Test it out, see how you feel.
But, yeah, let's chat on that.
I did let up P-dubs up here.
Not sure if you had a question. What's going on, man? You excited for this quirky Friday? Hope to see you there.
All right, maybe he dropped down. I see him as listener now. I did accept him up.
yeah well if there's no questions all good um we are having a little uh pisses over here making
it rain ape coin on bagels uh in the other side right now uh so yeah come on tap in i see p dubs
re-requested up yo uh spen i just had another thought I just realized what time it was. It's 2.30 p.m. on a Thursday.
The meet at the clubhouse is in like 30 minutes, isn't it? Yes, there it is. And we'll be there
as well. Yeah, I don't know if folks want to head over there. I mean, I guess there's maybe
another couple of mechanics or things we could touch on just in that. So meet at the clubhouse,
So meet at the clubhouse,
obviously we have the board API club
as one of the sort of native IPs,
one of the native creatures, characters,
however you want to think about it,
that lives here in the other side with the codas.
And there's this portal when you log into the game,
when you log in, you enter the Nexus map.
And this Nexus is sort of the codas home.
They've got a big tower here in the center.
But if you turn around immediately when you log in and you enter the nexus, there's a glowing portal.
And if you walk over and jump into it, well, if you walk over to it, you'll see above it, it says the swamp.
And if you jump into it, you'll go into the swamp, which is the home of the Bored Apes.
So there's a clubhouse there in the center of the
swamp. There's a soccer field, there's an open sea ship, there's all sorts of, there's a cake
for PP Man. It's always this MF's birthday. So there's always a cake. But if you go in there,
there's this sort of persistent, sort of separate conjoined ecosystem that you can experience. And
that clubhouse you can only go into if you're an
ape. So what Baron does is he sets up a bubble. It's a ground bubble as opposed to the floating
bubble. And when you join that ground bubble, you'll be able to hear everybody speaking. The
apes are sort of hanging out in the clubhouse and you need to have that ape avatar on. So even if
the avatar is in your inventory, that's not quite enough.
I can't walk in there wearing my chimper or my me bid.
I have to be wearing the ape to get access to get in there.
And there's a Coda zone that operates the same way.
And there's sort of like these token-gated chats,
I guess, token-gated areas.
But if you open that bubble,
you can extend the conversation
and let other people join you.
So I would imagine, just again, if I'm a Quirky's community member, if I've got a deed, if I'm, you know, if I'm,
if I'm speculating on future, you know, things that might happen, it's very possible that more
communities start to have token gated zones, special hangout places, experience, maybe there's
rewards back there that are only accessible to those community members. But right now it's just
a meet at the clubhouse, nothing crazy. And anybody can join the conversation, join the bubble there. So that's
happening in 30 minutes. It happens every Thursday. And the other side of that is it does happen there
and it does happen every Thursday at 3 p.m. PST. And there's many, many such sessions. So we will
have the quirky session reoccurring on Fridays. But I mean, just like a show, just like a stream,
just like any of these other sort of content forms that people consume,
it always helps if there is a schedule, an expected time.
You can go in and hang out and consume the content,
enjoy the game, play with people.
So there's a ton of those.
There's a calendar that we can share around at some later point
that kind of gives you an oversight into some of them.
I know Spend is also building his own calendar,
so a few resources there.
But I mean, Saturday, Friday, Tuesday, Thursday,
there's almost every day something interesting going on
from a pretty big community, from a sizable group
that you could go in and hang out with people,
experience, play games, maybe win rewards.
Yeah. Yeah, maybe win rewards. Yeah.
And, you know, just to mention, like meet at the clubhouse, it started as a space.
It was, you know, it was a space for, I think, two years straight.
And then as Bubbles activated, you know, the team pivoted from having it live on a Twitter
space to living in Bubbles.
And since then, you know, taking over the clubhouse
and having it inside the clubhouse.
And now, you know, there's even small rules like,
hey, if someone's speaking, come stand on this little rug.
So, like, you know, everyone's looking at the speaker.
It just gives you a whole different feel than, I would say, you know,
X experience can where you don't even know who's speaking.
I can't tell if it shows me lost as a listener,
but he just got done speaking.
That doesn't happen to the other side. And, yeah, I think, you know, that's a good call out. There's
a lot in the map to explore. Like when you come into the Nexus, we're going to try to keep it
simple for you, but you know, don't hesitate to indulge and get lost in the worlds, right? There's
that portal that takes you to the swamp. Both of those environments are very large. You could spend
20-30 minutes running around across and not see everything on both of those worlds. So
I would say, you know, tap in and don't hesitate to ask questions. There are so many helpful people
in the chat. You can press enter to populate the chat. Type whatever you need. Press enter to send. People will reply to you. There's also spatial audio.
So if you aren't in a bubble, you press C.
Or you have to hold C to talk.
So let's say if I'm right beside Lost, a centimeter away from Lost, he's talking, I will hear him perfectly fine.
If I'm 10 feet away from him in-game, I'll probably hear him less clear.
If I'm 20, 30 feet away from him, I won't hear him at all.
So there's spatial audio.
If you ever get lost, find a group of folks, ask them some questions.
There are so many people helpful on the other side.
I'm seeing us jumping around here.
I see Diego over there using his Kodakam.
He's in there in the MiBits football avatar just all around.
So another dope feature is that Kodakam.
So make sure once you're loaded in, you've equipped that dope, quirky avatar.
This K button populates the in-game Kodakam.
The first thing that you're going to see is a selfie stick scene.
So you kind of get a selfie stick experience in terms of taking the picture.
You click, you left click, you can take a picture.
It's saved on your gallery.
It's five Ape each to mint your Kodakam NFTs on Ape Chain.
It becomes the NFT that's forever on chain.
You can send it to somebody.
press G, screenshot the screen, and have that image that you took to post online if you don't
want to mint it. But you should mint those Kodacams. And then there's also different modes.
So you press K. You're going to start off in the selfie stick mode. If you press M, you can change
to orbit mode where you can see your whole avatar.
So it gives you more of a front view image.
So let's say you're taking a group picture and you want your avatar to be shown full body.
Clicking M once will give you the best scene.
If you click M a third time, that will change the Kodakam to a forward view.
So kind of like if you're looking through a camera yourself, that's the angle that
you would get on that third M switch. And then there's three. So you click M a fourth time,
you'll go back to the Kodakam there. It's a little cycle. I would say get used to it. We are going to
task you guys to take some Kodakams during our games tomorrow. So go ahead, of course,
set up your account, log in, sync your wallet if that's not
how you logged in, load in, knock out the tutorial, please, five, ten minutes, and make sure you're
all set for our game session. We'll have some basic fun games. We'll have some good rewards
for people. We'll reward you in the game with ApeCoin if you win some of our simple games.
And then, yeah, just I would say prepare for a fun time.
Bring the questions there, too.
I think, you know, for a lot of people, if you haven't jumped into the other side, you
may not even know what questions you have yet.
And you'll likely have some.
Ask them when you got them.
I want to say this for those who are setting up their new account and doing the tutorial you will not be disappointed
You're gonna love every bit of it. I enjoyed it myself
I love every animation that was in the intro for everything and like you won't be
Disappointed like most people when they hear like oh tutorial that they get the long that's boring this is not it's very very interactive and you'll enjoy it trust me let's set your accounts up
get ready for tomorrow we're about to have some fun yes sir i'm excited um and i think you know
i'm more excited just to see how this grows we're gonna start off basic get you guys in there but
once we get you hooked um we're gonna take you you to that vibe world. You're going to end up in
that vibe world sooner than later. And we're going to make you scale a 300 foot Corky to get to the
top and see who can do that first. But let's get you loaded in first, get your account synced,
get those avatars ready. And yeah, I'm super excited for Friday. As always, you know, I want
Anybody you see with that ApeCoin badge, if you have any questions, go ahead, ping us.
We may sleep sometimes, but even we reply in our sleep.
And yeah, I mean, go know, I'm go ahead.
Lost. Sorry. I'm just diving through again,
making sure I didn't miss any last questions from folks.
Two channels, especially for quirky.
So bull duck did mention that there are two channels in the quirky,
in the quirky discord, one for questions and one for other side streams. So that's a great thing. Actually, I didn't, We haven't touched on this yet, but we implore anybody that's active in other side playing
stream, stream on X, stream on Twitch.
There is the other side category on Twitch for streaming, but please stream.
If you do, you post it on X, come drop that link in the ApeCoin Discord.
We're always, you know, looking to highlight streamers and people just pushing dope content
So please get active and get into it.
Sorry, Lost, didn't mean to cut you off.
I just saw that you guys moved over here
a little bit up the walkway
I wasn't sure if people disconnected.
If you go in through the streaming,
if you're not on the client,
you do got to just kind of
make sure you're not on the client. You do got to just kind of make sure
you're active on the screen maybe every, I don't know, 10 minutes or so where it's going to
ask you to reconnect. Yeah. Oh, and the other thing, I mean, it may not, I'm restraining
myself. I mean, I'm restrained a little bit now, but I had to, yeah, I had to pull the,
you're talking about speaking in our sleeve. I had to pull a diabolical move today.
with the... It was iced coffee, to be fair,
but I did mix the coffee just
into the protein shake. The thing is,
the protein shake was just kind of grainy, bro.
It needed a little milk, so
You just need to find your smoothie place, bro, that does protein shakes.
And they got protein shake coffee.
So just find you a place like that and you'll be golden.
You ain't got to worry about mixing coffee into it.
You'll have both the best worlds in one cup.
Yeah, I was going to say, we're really great with other side of ApeCoin advice.
When it comes to health advice or what to drink, yeah, you know, I would defer to say, we're really great with other side of ApeCoin advice. When it comes to health advice or what to drink,
yeah, I would defer to Pips there.
Yeah, I'm lost on that one.
I'm not looking great on the health tips.
I mean, there's like 30 Apatars here.
There's a birthday cake in the center of everybody here.
There's a big celebration going on.
It's a four-year celebration.
It's the Feline Fiend's four-year anniversary.
I had the screen muted because I was listening to you guys,
but that is indeed what's going on here.
They bridge their collection to Ape Chain from Ethereum.
So obviously Ape Chain hasn't been around for four years.
But the feline fiends, they have.
And they do have other side avatars here.
We've got a bunch of cats.
We've got a bunch of frogs.
We've got a bunch of dogs.
We've got Noah's Ark starting to form here
in the other side. And we got a birthday cake.
rainbow barbarian. It's not a full
size. It's like the size.
The head goes about up to the ape's knee.
Total rainbow. little mutant.
It's an adventure in here.
And I think that's the one of the fun things about Other Side is, you know, a lot of us have probably been in the space for a while. We've seen hundreds to thousands of collections and, you know, different takes, different directions of things.
But being able to see so many different types of avatars, different types of art, styles, directions, live in 3D and Unreal, really just kind of, it hits me different.
You know, I love 2D. I love my ape as a 2D image, of course.
But being able to see it in 3D, I think, just adds that next level to me personally.
And hopefully it does for a bunch of other communities.
But yeah, I mean, it feels like this might be a good spot to wrap up.
Not sure if there's any last comments, thoughts from folks,
but I do want to say Meet at the Clubhouse is kicking off at 6 p.m.
So, I mean, I see a couple folks already in the other side.
If you want to get your first other side experience, come on in.
Come listen to the alpha from the Yuga side.
You know, Ape Chain has a little segment there,
so we'll share some updates of what's going on.
We'll be highlighting our Corky's event there as well.
Experience the other side.
And as always, you know, get in and ask those questions.
It's the only way you're going to learn.
And ping me in the Discord.
And see you guys on friday thanks ben
yeah don't forget guys uh spen's got the same uh name on discord and he's been lurking around
the quirkies discord as well so um we're definitely going to have the opportunity to continue to ask
questions and also here in our chats and of course in the other side so i appreciate you guys inviting
everyone on over to that um to the clubhouse uh experience
and just continuing to get a get our beaks wet here um this has been an amazing space so i i
can't tell you how much i appreciate everyone's time uh for sure uh spend i'll let you wrap it
up and piffs if you don't mind with a little get a little outro fired up that'd be all right
hell yeah and i just want to echo all those thoughts, all those words.
Appreciate everyone that joined the space.
Appreciate everyone that gave it a little retweet, all those comments,
and everyone that joined us in the session today.
Super excited to kick off our weekly Friday events at 4 p.m. Eastern.
And yeah, I would say, you know,
if you haven't experienced yet,
let Friday be that first day
and we're going to hook you.
I didn't set him up right. That's my fault. That's my fault. Go ahead, piss. Do your thing.
I had to load it up. But we didn't come numbered, every quirky got a soul You are who you are You are who you are, don't bend, don't fade
Every quirky got a story that the OG's made
Different colors, different scars, different lanes
Still stand tall when they call our names
You are who you are, no copy, no mask
Every personality, the written in the past
Community built it, every trade, every flaw
We don't follow templates, you are who you are
Mine ain't yours and that's the beauty in it
Every quirky breed, life when the O.D. spin it
Name got way, backstory vivid
From jokes to pain pain every arc is written
Some loud, some quiet, some moving shadows
Some pure chaos, some keep balance
Not one the same, no manufacture
Every quirky came raw, handcrafted
They said fitting, we said why?
Identity don't need a disguise
OGs gave life, now they ride You are gave life not a ride Don't bend no fade every quirky got story that the old jeez made different colors different stars different lanes
Still stand tall when they call our names
Community pain, yeah, they read the lore every quirky grow with the ones before from day one miss the legends form
Not just artists are living from you see yourself in the quirks and flaws
That's why it hits when the music drops
Not perfection, not a facade
Just real expression, uncut, unlocked
Your quirky laughs like you
Feels like you, wins like you
And that's the power Every quirky bloom in their own hour
No truth, this ain't no need to compare
We carry them there, yeah
You are who you are, yeah, remember to call Thank you.
