Music Thank you. Music Thank you. Music Thank you. Good afternoon, everybody. It is July 18th, 2025. My name is Adam Simmons and joining me
is founder and CTO of Radix, Dan Hughes. Howdy, Dan.
Howdy, Adam. Howdy, everyone.
How are you doing on this fine Friday afternoon?
I'm good. I'm getting hot again in here, though.
It was quite cool this week, but humidity level is back up to melt.
Yeah, definitely. Although, have you got the thunderstorms due because
i got a warning from my weather app that gonna be big thunderstorms yeah we had a little one
yesterday actually in the evening um i'm not sure if there's any for today but you know it's summer
i quite like the thunderstorms though especially at night
you know you watch the lightning and stuff it's quite good oh yeah my favorite like the the
british ones that were just really disappointing um i remember being out at consensus a few years
ago um in austin and they had some proper thunderstorms because you can see for like eternity it's like yeah everything is bigger
in america like it is yeah you go to florida what august september and the thunderstorms you get
there and not absolutely i remember that from a childhood memory actually of being out on holiday
out there and being old enough to know what a faraday's cage was. I can stay in the pool.
I can stay in the pool with like the alligator net rounded.
It'll be fine until a lightning strike probably was about a mile away.
And suddenly my faith in science wavered.
And I was like, I'm going to go inside.
When a lightning strike happens quite close to you.
Had a couple of them in life thankfully not been
yes thankfully although it would explain the giga brain just uh would it power
surge power suddenly explains why you can understand things that mere mortals can't
maybe you're too kind i i don't feel like i'm understanding much today. It's been a long week. It's been a long, crazy, but in a good way, week.
I'm just, yeah, I'm ready for a day off,
which thankfully I'm getting next week because it's my birthday.
So I'm going to take the one day off a year on my birthday.
I'm going to have my yearly shower.
I bet the fans are joyously looking forward to it.
Going all out, all all out having a shower maybe upgrade go for a bath treat yourself yeah maybe i'll go for a bath yeah maybe
so on that segue of a busy week shall we jump into some of the stuff going on because we have
had the feedback dan the shorter is sweeter um an expression anyone who's met me will know i'm very fond of and uh yeah this is just the truth but um we have had that feedback although you
you haven't sent me the overview this week so i haven't have i i have no idea what we're talking
about this week well it's a surprise for that reason it's because i i i sequentially send
and you haven't replied to my previous one, so you don't get the next one.
Oh, I see. Well, I've been a busy boy.
I know you have. Well, exactly. You were busy, so I didn't want to distract you with this,
and we can run through it. So big, big news is that last week, we did a full rundown of the Radix incentives campaign and it was very successful
on the whole. So anyone who missed it, basically, we were doing a kind of live test on main net with
real assets and everything else to make sure the backend predominantly of the system was working
as intended. So it's what we're internally calling the accounting side of the system. So that we're detecting assets, liquidity positions, trading,
et cetera, when we should be, not detecting them when we shouldn't be, and that the numbers are
broadly coming out. And we got some really good learnings from that. So thank you for everyone
who took part in that. You will have seen that the team were absolutely cooking during the week
shipping updates to the front end UI.
So even though we weren't explicitly testing the front end,
we've really appreciated the feedback from people.
And that's informing some choices and some stuff we're going to do when we go live.
One of which being like, we're not going to show estimated season points.
That was confusing a lot of people.
We're just going to show your kind of weekly points per activity category
and your current rank for that category. Because there's too many variables that can change the end of people. We're just going to show your kind of weekly points per activity category and your current rank for that category because there's too many variables that can change
the end of week. And then at the end of the week, show you how many your cumulative season points is
week on week. We've got some leaderboards up now. So that's already started going. We're going to be
publishing the data on how we calculate things. We had to rerun some of it because we noticed that
the methodology for calculating the multiplier based on XRD and XRD holdings was not quite working how we intended it to.
So we've altered that slightly to smooth it out and reapplied that to the data. But we'll be
pushing that out just with your persona names. So whatever your persona was linked to it,
you'll see that. And then your total AP balances, which activities you participated in, in in your total points and multiplier so what would be really helpful is when we push that out
if people would be so kind as to go and look up their their persona that they use and give it a
quick eyeball to make sure that it roughly matches kind of what you'd expect in terms of
the season points you've got compared to other people on the table so that was a quick rundown of it dan yeah no it was
following along as well thank you to everybody who took part in that um a lot of valuable feedback as
you said adam to the team uh highlighted a few things that maybe weren't quite right that have
been fixed up and a few little tweaks and changes made to like the season points and stuff like said so very valuable to do uh that shakedown test for a week um and yeah thank you again everybody
who who joined in with that it was it was good to see it up and running um and that yeah there
was nothing major which was great yeah all all of the things that we were testing were
working exactly as we intended there was a couple of minor points so we noticed there was one or two
pools that we weren't tracking um for some of the dexes that should have been included so we've
included those now i know many here will be very pleased to hear that during the week we didn't
actually put any data live for it but we also launched tracking for liquidity and trading on Radix altcoins. So we took the top seven Radix alts by market cap
and trading volume and added those in as well. So that's already to go for when we launch.
We've got surge liquidity added, and we're currently working on the surge trading as well.
So we've got perpetuals in there and that's all going really, really smooth.
And there was most, most of the things we learned were basically UI things that confused
And then there was a couple of silly things like for lending stable coins or lending
anything on either root or weft, the way AP was calculated.
So activity points for the week was like $1 of liquidity per minute was one point.
And that was confusing some people because they were racking up,
obviously, hundreds of thousands to millions of points,
and then their season points at the end of the week
were lower than they were expecting.
And that was just like an orders of magnitude thing.
So we've just done a simple switch of that to make it
one ten-thousandth of a point per minute,
which basically means that $1 for a week is one point,
which is a lot more manageable for our simple eight brains.
It does make a lot more sense.
It makes a lot more sense.
Do you know what I was most impressed with, though, Dan?
We had over 200 unique users participate in the test.
You hadn't told me that yet? Wow. Yep, over 200.
So and that's users. There was a substantial number of accounts on top of that. I don't have
that in front of me because we keep everything user level but like we're talking hundreds of
accounts tracked and we really didn't push the test. Like we intentionally didn't want a huge number of people because people would have
been like, oh, how do I get my airdrop?
How do I get my points or whatever?
It was really for people already in the ecosystem with these assets using the
Dapps already that we could just get data and cross reference it all.
So getting 200 plus users on that.
I was personally surprised.
Especially as it obviously wasn't heavily incentivized, right? So, yeah, there will be a bonus for anyone who took part in the test. So we will make sure that if you took part in the test,
you will get a show of things for that. It won't be huge. You'll get a lollipop, a nice lollipop.
What flavor? Oh well i think we
should give them the choice don't you oh you're generous choice of lollipop favor wow
uh i'm just joking you do a lollipop nft i suppose just as a laugh that'd be good you could do you
could do uh we also had the code go public as well. That was the other thing.
So any devs here, it is all open source.
So you can go and look at this.
I suppose while we're talking about incentives,
I should probably touch on the thing that you've been badgering me about
all week that I haven't got around to,
seeing as we're here and talking about incentives.
So some of you may recall on the little solo live stream thing I did last week.
I raised a question about us potentially waiting for Hyperlane.
And I've had some discussions with various community members since then, there was
a poll that was put up either in Maine or in traders, not sure which one. And it was quite
close to poll, I think it was like 55% to 45% in favour of yes to delay. Now, that's a bit inconclusive. And personally, I am somewhat
swaying towards that we wait, because I had an update with Hyperlane earlier today. We have one
every Friday at 3pm UK time. And no, no issues their end, they're moving smooth, they're on track,
they're on target. so what i was planning
to do earlier in the week that's got away from me a little bit is to put a little blog post together
and to run a community consultation because it's it's too close i think for us to accurately call. And I'm personally swaying towards weight, but not to the degree where
I think I can make a concrete decision on it. So seeing as I have all of you love the community,
we're going to use the consultation stuff to do a quick consultation on what the community thinks that we should do.
Because we are midway through July and Hyperlane is looking to be
So it's not a long period of time that we wait.
And I do think that waiting for Hyperlane will give us more pros than cons.
So that's probably going to go out either this evening or over the weekend.
Um, so please do take part because I do want to capture a complete sentiment of the community if possible so that we can make the right decision here.
I also want to just add to that as well from a timeline point, obviously people
saw last week that we've got the accounting system of incentives ready to go.
We could get that up very, very quickly.
There's some additional testing and validation we're doing.
So realistically, we've probably got like a week and then it'd start on a Monday.
So either the 28th or 4th is the earliest point that
realistically you'd want to get this live just to make sure that we can smooth out some of those
rough edges so we're talking about four weeks realistically on on the estimates we've got
between waiting or going ASAP yeah and obviously if any issues with Hyperlane do crop up over the next few weeks, which is looking unlikely at this point, then obviously we wouldn't wait if there was a delay on Hyperlane.
But given the timelines where they are, there is clearly an argument for and against, which is why it basically came out 50-50.
And everybody that I've spoken to is either 50-50 yes or no.
And this is such an important thing to get right.
I'd just like some counsel on it, basically.
And from our side as well, Dan, we're gunning for a release candidate ready ASAP anyway.
So whatever the outcome is, we'll be,
we're assuming we're launching ASAP
so that we've got something ready.
If it is later than that,
then we'll just have more features, more polish on it.
But yeah, today was official code freeze
on any more changes to functionality of features.
And so now it's all just polishing
after we've crunched the data.
So we're good to go on that side.
And we're slightly beyond MVP as well, which is, you know, feature creep,
I'd argue we're quite substantially above MVP. I admittedly hedged it originally. I've said
originally like 10 times in a row now, but I was like early july or i said first week of july we can get something out and it would just be stable coins only on len borrow um no trading just liquidity provision
only we've now got trading on stables blue chips the top radix altcoins and also surge liquidity
added in as well yeah it's pretty comprehensive it, it's pretty comprehensive.
It's pretty comprehensive.
And for the additional week or so,
grinding and doing great things.
Maybe they've all been struck by lightning too,
as per your synopsis, Adam.
I just need to go outside
with a big metal pole, clearly.
Then hopefully it'll happen to me.
You've got a metal pole, haven't you?
Just hold them in the air.
But yes, we're all good on this.
So once Dan gets that blog over to me, we'll get that out either tonight or over the weekend.
The consultation will run for around a week so that we can get feedback.
It will run exactly the same week so that we can get feedback it'll run exactly the
same as the incentives plan originally so it'll just be a simple token weighted consultation so
yeah another reuse of some stuff we built which is when we built that first time round we wanted
to make it flexible to be able to run more of these in the future glad that's paying off um
and anything else on incentives dan otherwise should we crack on with the other
agenda items no i think you covered your end uh and i figured it was a good idea just to raise that
um now see this is an opportunity to do so so yeah let's move on cool so we've dropped um a little
bit more information obviously on the blog as well around the incentive so we're gonna start gearing
up some of this like explainers I know there's been lots of chat around the content around the
incentives campaign and making sure that it's ELI5 based and that's definitely what we're doing like
most people don't need to know how it works behind the scenes and the math behind it so you expect to
see more of that and more kind of some teasing of both season zero and season one coming now um the other bit
dan of big news in the last two weeks from outside is you snuck out um a little bit about uh briven
howard and twin stake notes uh oh yeah yeah yeah to decommission those as soon as possible um yeah
which is probably going to be like i would would imagine sometime in September that's actually going to happen.
It just, yeah, it just doesn't make sense at the moment given the market, but more so where we are in market.
And the opportunity just, it doesn't make sense to just run them anymore at the moment and extract the
staking rewards from community-run validators, which I think would, I mean,
I mean, it's not a huge increase, but it's anything that helps to support the
community at the moment and what they're doing, building developers, ROI, all that kind of stuff. I mean, anything is better than nothing.
So I think it just it just makes sense to spin them down for now
until we're back into favourable conditions again, and then we
can revisit looking at re executing that strategy. But I
think it's more important that the community has as much
support as possible. And I know that a lot of community members use the staking rewards for
various things, right? You know, to help fund projects or, you know, supplement their income
so they can play around more in the Radix ecosystem or be engaged or whatever. So,
in the radix ecosystem or be engaged or whatever so um yeah it just it just makes sense you know
um it's nothing more controversial than it just makes sense right now
i don't think it's a controversial topic if i'm honest but i again this is one of these things
that there's logistics behind it there's the operational side of it it's not it is being
said dan it's going to take a little bit of time to get that all put in place but it is being done
and trucking along nicely yeah yeah now i saved the best till last dan oh okay go on what you got
you gave him a date a date for what what do you mean a date for what you gave the community a date last week
oh shit yeah man man i need to go to sleep you've had a long week haven't you i i think we should
enforce a bedtime tonight like oh god yeah you gotta have a lie down we probably should we
probably should i'm very jealous because you got an early knockoff this week because your child has been a menace.
Well-deserved, of course.
How could I miss that one?
I thought you were referring to the date on Hyperlane
or the twin stake in taking prepping stuff.
Yes, so we are locked in for the week of the 18th of August.
I have actually got in my email box a confirmation of the day,
but I haven't read it yet because I'll just come in.
So I'm not going to do that live on air in case there's some controversy.
But the week of the 18th is where we are shooting for um that that week is locked in nothing's going to change um ideally we want it to be on the tuesday or the wednesday
because then that gives our lovely pr people um a couple of days post test to push out pr press releases uh get some awareness get journalists
interested uh articles and publications and stuff and it also gives third parties a day or two to
put together their you know reports on what they saw from their end you know the validators they
were running what they were doing uh gives them a little bit of time to verify that the signatures were legitimate and the Merkle trees and Merkle hashes and
all these things and consensus was good.
Just gives them a bit of lingering things. So I've
been able to push quite hard in terms of lining this up and all the logistics behind the scenes
have been more so where my attention has been rather than coding as much. Because I remember last time that we tried to
line all this up, it was just an absolute nightmare. So a bit more effort
to get everything together. And also, some thing I'm not going to say what
they are right now. But there's a few little things that are likely to also
happen alongside the test, which will be very beneficial
for the test as well. So it gives us even more of a PR opportunity and a marketing opportunity and
stuff. But they're going to be little surprises for the day of the test. So I'm not going to say
what those things are until the test is done. Everyone's getting lollipops, aren't they?
Yes. Yes. Lollipops for everybody um they can even pick
which flavor you can you can pick your flavor too uh so the the two big things between now and then
is uh me and the devops team are probably next week going to spin up a thousand node network
um and just give that a dry run.
Won't be included in any community.
It's just so the DevOps team can get all their playbooks,
deployment of the compute in the various regions,
make sure they all spin up properly,
all the machines are configured correctly,
and just highlight any issues, especially because I've, I've
and just highlight any issues.
spent almost all of the development cycle on Google
Cloud, and DevOps are using AWS. So just to iron out any
potential issues there, and to make sure that stupid things
like SnapD aren't enabled on the ubuntu instances because
that called me it caused me a headache this week um because there was an update to ubuntu and and
snap d was re-enabled which just doesn't work very well on cloud instances i'm sure some of you guys
who play with cloud will know it just consumes cpu and doesn't actually do anything um so yeah
just little things like that making sure the setup's good and then post
that drive run uh do a large community test and which i know i've been saying for a while but i
have been doing a lot of other things and just haven't had the bandwidth to put a community
test together no other reason i'm just days are just full um prior to the main one. So big DevOps test, big network, spin that up,
run some through reports,
then a community test in the main group.
And then that should lead us nicely into big test week.
And I'm going to love it when the plan comes together.
Well, we seem to be doing pretty well
with plans coming together at the moment. Don't jinx it don't say it out loud i'm gonna i'm
gonna remain pessimistic yeah a plan plan for the worst but be pleased with the best that's that's
always the way but yeah the i just to set expectations for people as well on the planned
rollout of those dates so obviously there'll be some promotion
in the lead up towards it,
but that's predominantly going to be
for people participating in the test.
The big push we need the community to get behind
is when the press releases go out.
And anyone who's done anything in press
knows Thursdays are golden days for press releases.
So it will likely be on that Thursday.
That's when we'll have all the co-promotion with partners
because partners, as Dan said,
are going to want to go through and check their own data
and look at what their nodes have done,
put their own statements out, et cetera.
So we're syncing all that up on the Thursday.
So it's going to be really hard to do.
But if on the day of the test, we get a great result,
you're going to want to scream about it,
save that energy up until we do the big bang or big, big release of it in the PR and everything
else, because that's when we're going to get maximum attention, have the validation behind
it and everything else. So the lead up is all to participate. And then the Thursday is when
this is the outcome of it. And this also ties up with a bunch of the other stuff that we've
got planned for August that I'm really excited about too. So like with obviously that's two weeks-ish before we're
expecting to see Hyperlane go live, incentives somewhere around there before or after. All of
these things start kind of coming together and having a good solid momentum building few weeks
coming up in August. So get your keyboards dusted off, get your X accounts ready, because lots of
replying, retweeting and shilling coming up.
I mean, a successful test gives our community a lot of ammunition, right?
Because, you know, even though the hyperscale stuff has been constantly
pushed aside for one of a million
other things that just kept getting in the way.
Nobody else has done anything like this.
So even though we are late from a community perspective, we're still
early from an industry perspective.
So a lot of ammunition that we can use once this point is proven.
The only person who's probably not going to give a shit is Justin B bonds because it's not a main netbook you know everybody else have at
your your your goal post this is just getting on another space with justin and and convincing him
that accounts uh well yeah that's that's a good shout actually you. You know, we could. I mean, if post-test we ran a hyperscale network for a couple of months,
maybe not at full load, you know, but a moderate amount for a couple of months,
would that then classify as, well, it's basically a main net, Justin.
For today, though, I do have a couple of other good bits of news,
which is, of course, your PR, Dan.
So you've been quoted quite a few times, actually, in the last two weeks, especially around Bitcoin's price movement.
So you've been in a bunch of publications there that got repeated in a bunch of other ones as well, which was fantastic.
And also all of the points you were making turned out to be prophecy as well,
which is always helpful. It does help when you write.
Yep. It all helps build up that thought leadership piece. So that's going really nicely there.
All the PR team is gearing up now for the test, for incentives, for the hyper lane integration. So
we've got a lot of work on that side. We've got a lot of work on the marketing side to make sure
that's coming through. The final update from the foundation side, Dan,
I don't know if you want to speak a bit about a couple of people joining.
Yes. So Lucas Gazior, who was RDX, took a few months, much needed vacation time.
Uh, I'm, I'm hoping that he actually took some vacation time and didn't just
end up like all of us tech heads and just messing around in things.
Um, uh, without actually taking a breather.
Um, but he has come back on board for a few days a week, uh, for now, just
to help us with a bunch of things keep
an eye on network dependencies fix some bugs just a bunch of minor stuff that needs to happen on the
network stack nothing minor but always good to have the resource available and also octo is going to be joining us uh i think the sometime in august officially right
uh full time i'm not sure when is when is when his current contract ends um octo was
very helpful with all a lot of the incentive stuff um team have got nothing but praise for him
uh and i heard that he was in between things uh
and i thought we well we better grab him so um so welcome back lukash uh good to have you back with
us and uh welcome to the team octo having worked with octo as well very closely over the last kind
of month or so incredibly talented uh i have never seen or not he's one
of the few people i've ever seen get so quickly up to speed and delivering high value function
into a team so it's been an absolute pleasure so i'm really really glad um that he is joining us
yeah me too um just yeah just getting a real good team together
And if we can keep attracting the right people
we'll have a real manageable, not too big,
not too small, just ton of talent
that we can do great things with.
So, yeah, I think over the next few months probably to get maybe two or three more people on board um on on the tech team um and
then probably hold it there for a while uh just it's nicely manageable i think at that kind of
size and it should still be really efficient that we can churn stuff out um quite
quickly and be be proactive and responsive to to issues or ideas and things um and then uh yeah
at some point over the next say six months or so um start thinking about getting a shian team on
board as well to drive shian over the the roadmap as quickly as possible.
So, yeah, but we don't want 100 people or anything like that.
We want it nice and small.
So, shall we move on to ecosystem updates, Dan?
Yes, while you do that... It'd be really funny if you were just like, no.
Nah, don't feel like it this week.
I have, I have a couple of other things that I'm not sure whether it's,
well, one, if it's the right time to mention them or if,
once the ecosystem updates, I will have decided by the end.
That makes me incredibly nervous dan like so
nervous like i feel like one of those i feel like one of those like media advisors stood next to like
donald trump and you can just see when they clench that's no it's it's it's good news it's
not controversial okay okay okay well i'll jump through the ecosystem updates.
and I'll try and have my blood pressure
although with some of these updates,
it's going to be hard to because they're awesome.
it wouldn't be a Radex recap space
without having to mention Astrolescent.
So Astrolescent Bridge has now integrated base.
Yeah, and you've got a tweet from Lucas Maston as well.
Well done. I know. so i'd like to say
congratulations to coinbase for being listed on radix uh well done for them also integrated into
radix well done uh well deserved uh reciprocated anytime guys um but that now means that the
actual lesson bridge is now running for between base obviously radixadex, Solana, SWE, Sonic, Aptos, Arbitrum,
all wallet to wallet, all with one click.
And I may have even missed some there,
but fantastic work to T-Man
and the Astrolescent team there.
And I believe they've also rebuilt
their EVM wallet integration,
making it faster to add new chains as well there.
So big congratulations to Astrolescent.
More connectivity within Radeix and to radix
is always going to be a big win so thank you very much radix kingdoms they have been generating a
lot of activity so this is a on-chain game so their two-week stats is that they've done just
over 23 000 transactions they've had 215 kingdoms created and 1.8 million of their kingdoms gold burned
or that token burned as a result of that so that has been busy driving love on-chain activity
um louis rhymes has recently come storming into the radix community. So those of you haven't noticed. Yep. So he is a musician who does some incredible rapping and he has launched a connection or a
collection through Xrdgens. This is something that Machinist brought on. So thank you,
Machinist. Obviously why it launched on Xrdgens. Big welcome to Lurie. It is a great energy to have
coming into the ecosystem. I've seen a bunch of people pick up those NFTs.
It's been super successful.
And it's just another cool addition into the space and into the scene.
And I know that he's been really appreciative of the warm welcoming the Radix community has given.
Have you listened to some of his material?
Just like, as if it's easy.
And I believe he is on Machinist Space later, I think.
He is indeed. So make sure you check that out,
because that's going to be super cool.
And I like the way you asked if I'd listened to it, Dan. is indeed so make sure you check that out um because that's going to be super cool and i like
the way you asked if i'd listen to it dan like do you think i just sit here listening to like
beethoven and mozart and i would never put you as beethoven and mozart to be honest
you know rage against the machine maybe i don't don't know. I don't know. Good question.
Maybe we put that up as a poll.
But yeah, awesome work from Machinist
and obviously fantastic stuff from Louis.
Really glad to have you in the ecosystem.
And yeah, everyone should check out the space
with Machinist and Louis later on this evening.
Second to last one, Rad Explorer.
They've just brought in another update.
So they've added um red xxrd
um to the new project section of rad explorer they also pushed out a really quick update which
i do want to touch on because i think it's a very fast response from charlie and i think is one of
these things that makes a huge difference which was there was someone trying to airdrop some tokens
off the back of the incentives test to make it
sound like they were something to do with the incentives in an attempt to get people to go to
a phishing website. And I want to say it was within an hour. Charlie had added in an addition
to Rad Explorer to basically flag that as a malicious token and stuff like that. And it's
those sort of things that are very, veryappreciated but if it stops just one
person getting scammed by a bad actor it is worth its weight in gold to the ecosystem so thank you
very much uh charlie for adding that in and your continued work with rad explorer and the final one
from the ecosystem updates this week is uh great. So Great Labs have now officially got Radix Hub
live on the Apple App Store.
So this is a way to track your favorite tokens,
follow Radix news, explore the DeFi tools,
and just dive into a whole bunch of stuff around Radix
They have been live on Android for a while.
They had, I think they've already come out with this.
I think it's fine to say, and I did check
with them before, but they had the issue around the App Store with having a swap widget built in,
which is one of the things that has perpetually been a challenge in crypto, and not just crypto,
in other industries as well, but the Apple App Store is a little bit tough on trying to get them

to understand the difference between in-app transactions and out-of-app transactions.
transactions but um they so that's the only feature difference the apple version doesn't
have the swap widget like the android version does um but it's a great app highly recommend
people go and check it out it's a great way to get your radix news
amazing updates amazing updates updates all around do i need to keep clinching uh well
i mean there's been a bit of movement on on rdx this week um and i know there's still quite a bit
of what's going to happen over there um so i figured that it might just be worth touching on that a little bit so um the rdx group
as you all know rdx works was um closed down staff were let go foundation to a number of those staff to push things forward from a network perspective.
And over the past couple of months, I've been wondering, okay, what is the future of RDX?
You know, it sits on a significant amount of treasury.
It has some capital, but it's very much a skeleton crew at the moment just keeping
things taking over um and there's an opportunity uh for rdx to revive somewhat um and focus on on, I guess, more niche dApps and applications.
So nothing like big product launches, but focus on niche sectors that are maybe underserved
or have a lot of potential that RDX can build something in that market with a nice product market fit and dominate that
particular niche and then move to the next and move to the next and move to the next.
You know, things like e-commerce or, you know, small AI dApps and things like that, right?
But very targeted, very specific to a use case, which has a lot of potential but perhaps isn't served very well if
at all in the space and there's an opportunity for RDX that came over my desk this week for some
capital injection as well so that's looking like the direction that RDX is going to move in over the next six to 12 months, can be
very focused on a number of small niche strategies to try
and take some dominance in those particular areas. And it may
not be 100% DeFi crypto related, like, for example, an e-commerce play,
most of the crypto stuff would be, you know,
hidden behind the scenes as such,
but there would be a touch point with crypto,
which of course would then mean it has a touch point
with Radix and the Radix network.
So the motivation there is to very strategically build
and deploy these applications that serve a very distinct purpose and not spend a lot of time, money or effort to build them.
So focusing on simple wins.
a bit of user stickiness and stuff because they will touch upon the Radix network.
You then have a nice, you know, you can upsell users into various things in the Radix network
or secondary markets and stuff like that.
So that looks to be like the direction I'm going to go into.
So I just thought that given it's been a few months with not really an update on what's
happening with RDX and I know there's still a lot of uncertainty in the community about what's
I figured seeing as things are starting to have a bit of a positive
direction, it might just be worth touching on it.
And that, that means things are smoothing out on your spinning plates as well, Dan?
Slowly but surely, they are.
I'll be very pleased when August has come and gone,
and touching all the wood I can find, everything has gone smoothly,
and I'll have a lot more capacity for things like sleep.
Don't mention that you're not sleeping. Brianson will appear in the space and tell you yeah i know i know i know no i mean there's a lot happening at the moment but um
i'm i'm very happy with with where things are i'm very happy where things are going
um we've had we've had a good we've had good market performance the past week
um perps are gone that seems to have had a really market performance the past week. Perps are gone.
That seems to have had a really positive effect.
So, yeah, everything just, you know, baby steps.
But even with baby steps, eventually you'll walk 10,000 miles.
We're taking a step every day.
And on that note, I'm taking a quick look through the questions.
I don't think we've actually got any.
Just lots of people celebrating.
And Teeman being very happy that you're apparently getting him
a beer-flavored lollipop because he got his biggest flavor.
Who's getting a beer-flavored one?
Teeman wants a beer-flavored lollipop.
That sounds like almost a
mission impossible challenge um i suppose if i fail i can always get a normal lollipop and
soak it in beer for a day that'll probably work
That's a simple solution to a complex problem, but I think it'll work.
a simple solution to a complex problem but i think it'll work
So on that lovely note, I hope everyone has a fantastic evening.
Thank you all for tuning in.
As always, you can catch the recording of this space on X,

And then you can buy it in the winter
