With all the balls, then we're going to be talking about nuts. So great topics for today, guys. The topics that you all love.
So welcome here, man. How are you doing?
Doing super well again, man. Yeah, I'm glad to talk about all this stuff because i think it's
good to get context behind like decision making but i think the most important thing to realize
is that previously under the dow ape coin as a token and in a lot of ways ape chain as well
didn't really have a unified strategy or direction right there wasn't a lot going on and we've seen
the token price suffering for three years straight for that reason on the you can juxtapose that with you know what pengu's doing
under like unified leadership of luca they get a strategy they've got a narrative they cook they
implement and the token does really well and that also extends to the nft in a lot of ways so now
we have that for apecoin and that's what rate is
all about it's a single unified strategy to essentially hyper financialize hyper financialize
apecoin and just get it in front of a lot more users get the holder count up get the trading
volume up because you know you look at things uh today, for example, yesterday, ApeCoin had roughly $100,000 in trading volume across decentralized exchanges.
So that's like Arbitrum and Ethereum. We're not counting ApeChain.
That's a problem, right? We're at the top 180 token by market cap, but we have the trading volume of tokens that are like 10 or 20,000 by market cap.
And that's because there was no strategy behind pushing
ApeCoin, increasing exposure, right? Most of our trading was actually happening on centralized
exchanges. And so now a big part of RAID is including the number of those centralized exchanges,
but also increasing exposure. So having more users have more access to ApeCoin.
And then once they have their hands on ApeCoin, giving them a diverse number of ways to use their ApeCoin, whether that be like participate in protocols where they'll be able to farm a future airdrop, participate in protocols where they can stake and they can get ApeCoin right where they're at.
And so then when they think, OK, what else can I do with my ApeCoin?
They could be looking at ApeChain as an option, joining some of the nft collections doing some staking on ape chain as well right be a clutch
or the native staking which exists for a period of time i'll be very glad when that ends sorry
grateful uh until then keep eating keep eating um but you know it's it's really about growing the
token in a lot of ways our chain is outperforming our token.
And that's problematic because the chain can only continue to benefit
if we have a continuous influx of users and liquidity.
And our best selling point for that is actually going to be
making the token a more bullish investment for users.
Man, I love that we can talk about price because back in the day, in the DAO days
by the way, we've hosted so many spaces with DAO
and we really try to push it
but I think we all see that it just doesn't work
and you need to have leadership
you need to have direction
and you need to have decision makers on their spots
to actually push us to the moon maybe direction and you need to have decision makers on their spots, right?
To actually push us to the moon, maybe, right?
So I love to hear this.
When you mentioned, you know, that we want to financialize the ApeCoin,
like, do you have any goals?
Because I also saw that you want to make ApeCoin top 20 tokens by market cap.
So what's your goal in this?
What's our North Star there?
Yeah, in terms of holder count, with the completion of RAID,
one year from now, I'd like to at least triple our total holder count,
specifically across decentralized chains and exchanges. And then also just a massive uptick
in volume. And I think that's what we're going to see the first really short term in the next 45
days. You'll probably see ApeCoin having TEDx at least the volume that it does daily, which is a
big deal. People look at token trading volume when they decide if they're going to buy a token or not
because it signals interest in investors for that token. And
centralized exchange trading volume matters, but so does decentralized exchange trading volume. So
getting all of these metrics up, having ApeCoin in more places is just going to make it easier
for users to access. And then we have the reach, right? Bored Ape Yacht Club should have as much
reach, if not more reach than the Pudgy Penguins. But for whatever reason, the coin doesn't trade in a way. So this is about
reintegration, right? Within that ethos, within that ecosystem, having people understand that,
you know, your first exposure to the ape ecosystem could be buying $10 of ApeCoin.
And then if that, when people get that exposure with that ApeCoin, they might
come through on the Grateful's face. They meet Grateful. They really dig the vibe.
Potentially, they're a bigger bag holder. And that actually gets them thinking that they want to
get in on a full club membership, whether that be through a mutant or a bored ape.
So this is like the kind of synergistic effects we're looking to do. A big part of this, of course,
is as well, the other side and everything that's going on on ApeChain.
That's like one of the number one utilities of ApeCoin.
So you're going to see continued development on that from the team.
And yeah, it's really like all cylinders firing.
You're going to see like 30 to 40 protocols integrate ApeCoin.
You're going to see, you know, more bridges having ApeCoin available to bridge the ape chain as well uh we
locked in symbiosis and d bridge this week and that they're going to be announcing that as well
shortly we've got alchemy pay too for fiat onboarding looking at solana partners too like
moonshot which is a fantastic partner they do direct apple pay onboarding to tokens and so
there's a lot of things that we were not able to do previously,
which now we'll be able to do with ApeCoin since it is on Solana.
Yeah, that was definitely my follow up question about Solana,
because a few people actually asked me like,
why do we want to have ApeCoin on Solana?
So what would you reply to them?
Yeah, I think the easiest thing to grasp here,
there's many reasons in terms of like utility as well,
but the easiest thing to grasp here is that Solana has the daily active user base
of all the other chains combined.
And there's no reason that a product as robust as Apecoin
shouldn't be in front of those users as a potential entry point and an
on-ramp to that ecosystem. Now, we don't want to just go onto Solana and just drop and say,
hey, we're here. We also want to integrate into the culture. We want to show off ApeChain culture.
We want to show off Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club culture, because these are bullish
things that have to do with ApeCoin as well. So like one example is with our launch on Solana,
day one, you'll be able to send ApeCoin
to other users on X via a protocol called Banker.
So BankerBot is an AI agent where you just,
where I can say, send 10 ApeCoin to Grateful
on X as a tweet or a comment.
And BankerBot sends 10 ApeCoin to you.
And so look, this is an extremely simple like integration, right?
This takes a second, but it's something that's fantastic because that way, right away, you're
going to see more ApeCoin on the timeline.
You're going to have another use case for ApeCoin.
And so that's just listing one.
Now think about when we get 40 or 50 things cooking like that.
When we combine that with powerful InfoFi campaigns, think about when multiple users are participating in these protocols, users that have never been exposed to ApeChain or ApeCoin before, potentially, you know, farming a, for example, a future airdrop like Meteora.
So grateful you're a rich person.
So think about it.
You might have a lot of ApeCoin, right?
And one of your potential things that you could do is, since Solana is a high trading volume chain, you could take ApeCoin and pair it with some USDC or Sol that you have,
deposit it into an LP on Meteora.
You'll be getting fantastic revenue on that because trading volume is where that revenue
comes from.
And at the same time, you'll be farming the future meteora token airdrop which is coming
and so this is like another example so when you ask why there are many reasons but i think if you
speak directly to solana users for them they feel like it's a match made in heaven are the protocols
that i've connected to and the Solana Foundation themselves,
so like the Solana account, the people at Solana, they are very excited to be bringing on this IP, this ecosystem.
They are welcoming us with open arms, so we're also excited to be going there and I think it's going to be a massive success.
That's awesome man, can't wait for that. I also want to say one more thing because as you guys know I've been involved a lot in Somdia network and if you look at the Kaito there and you look at the room here, we have so many out of the world, right? So my follow-up question will be like how us as creators can actually help to onboard new people.

But that's just gaming and metaverse, but there
has to be more so
what would you recommend us yeah and you know something to think about is that this is like a
super pivotal moment for apecoin and apechain because you know moving from the dow structure
to apeco is obviously something bullish but it's hard to pinpoint those effects right you see those
effects within strategies like raid also something to think about is that we're not too far away from finishing up all unlocks
on ApeCoin.
That's early next year.
Also, dilutionary staking is being deprecated too.
That's also super bullish for ApeCoin.
So we have this short transitionary period over the next couple of months.
Before we know it's going to be spring of 2026, we have that time period to set the
table for like massive massive
success and when i say success i'm not talking about like ape coin to two bucks i'm talking about
back to where we should be around all-time highs but it's it's going to depend on two things the
execution obviously of the team at apeco working with yuga labs and also the community. The community initiatives, the community voicing support,
conviction, holding the token,
helping people feel that positive narrative
around the winning culture that we're implementing
via ApeCo for ApeCoin.
So I would say as a community,
the biggest thing you can do is,
for example, you as a space host,
this will be on Solana. It will be in the eyes of, like I said, roughly 2 million active on-chain
users. All of those users to figure out what's going on with the token, they usually search for
the ticker on X or the CA. So a great thing to do is, for example, in your future spaces,
the next couple of weeks, just have the ticker in your space title. So the dollar sign and ape.
That'll be an easy way that the Solana folks
can come and find ApeCoin.
And what they'll realize is,
oh shit, this token already has like a massive community,
right?
The board API club, all the folks have massive reach.
So that's going to be like bullish
for people who want to come in and buy into ApeCoin.
Now, the second thing is,
there's actually going to be a specific campaign i won't give away too much
you'll hear about this very early next week where club members board apes and mutant apes will be
specially incentivized as well as ape coin holders to tweet about ape coin to tweet about project
raid and there will be a nice reward for doing so so keep your eyes peeled for that
uh this is like i said part of a larger larger campaign raid itself is is massive right we're
talking about partnerships and co-marketing with folks like radium uh like moonshot like the solana
account uh like camino like these these are all and i i'm just talking about part one of raid right
i haven't even gotten down to part two and part three so i'm just talking about like the first
quarter here so you can think what's going to happen in the second quarter the third quarter

But there is actually a better way to do it. There are better tokenomics that exists
when you have solid liquidity to use on your token.
So what we're doing is we're not coming into new chains and doing raises, right?
We're not coming into new chains and doing like a first official TGE.
So this is going to look different than your classic like Pengu TGE on Solana, for example,
which we could say was relatively a failure for their initial day.
The first week didn't go well.
And that's because there was a raise.
There was a set market cap, which they came up with in their head.
A certain amount of tokens and liquidity was there.
And then the market traded and the value got set where it got set.
With this, we're not doing that. We're bringing ApeCoin to Solana,
but we're taking our own funds, our own sole token, and bridging it over as well to pair
with that ApeCoin. So we're giving ApeCoin additional debts, essentially a harder,
stickier floor of liquidity that's more difficult to sell into. And that also creates a fantastic
foundation for the token to grow from. And so
this is super important because when you seed sell side liquidity on a token, it's actually
more effective than buybacks because sell side liquidity can absorb more net sell pressure of
total tokens than buybacks can. And so that might be like tricky to understand, but essentially when
you LP on a token, especially if you're putting LP to
the bottom side, right, to the low, to the extent that the token could go in lower price,
you're essentially saying, I'm willing to buy any of your tokens that go below this price.
And I'll pay for it. And so that's what we're saying at ApeCode. That's what we're saying
by extension at Yuga Labs. We're saying we believe in ApeCoin. We're bringing the heat. We're bringing the liquidity. And then it's just
down to the users, right? And it's down to us to come through and not only show up, but integrate,
show them and show off the kind of culture that we have. Because we have massive strength, guys.
We have massive strength. We have massive reach. Just something wasn't clicking. There was a
missing piece, right? And I think that piece was that we weren't employing a single unified strategy a single unified narrative
and we weren't in front of the largest user bases of crypto users of crypto web3 active users

And again, all these fees and all these royalties from this marketplace will be shared with the staking pool.
