So, you know, I think they're trying to counteract that.
They're spearheading it.
I think they settle somewhere around the same, like you said,
either do it through the bank, the banking system where they get fees on it,

And they're still making money or they average out the yield that you would get
opening, you know, a,
a bank account and having a savings account and earning yield. But that's the thing. They don't,
they do not want money sitting still in people being able to earn, earn, make big games. So,
and I think they want it across the board. So if banks aren't going to do it,
Coinbase and all these other ones shouldn't be allowed to do it as well and that's where i think like brian armstrong and all these guys are like
butting heads is like you know they want people actually they want transactions everybody wants
transactions it seems to be the fucking new thing now it's not exactly new well i know it's not new
but it's a narrative that's like you you know, it's funny because yesterday we had conversations about transactions on abstract.
So it's like they want to see money flowing and moving.
And I don't see nothing wrong with that.

It's just, I mean, AI trading is.
ai trading is no i mean at the end of the day if i can take a hundred thousand dollars and earn
five percent on coinbase on usdcs right in opposed to putting a hundred thousand dollars
in a bank account a savings account and earn three percent maybe it's probably less than that
in the banks right now of course like the average person is gonna defer to you know going the
digital currency route because you're earning a higher yield.
So that's the number one threat to the banking system.
That's why they're lobbying hard and not allow USDC yields.
But I think they end up settling somewhere
where the rates are going to be comparable to banks
or you're going to have to do it through a bank
to where the bank still makes their money. I think that's the big issue there. You're talking about like Coinbase and all
the others are going to have to, uh, settle with what the banks are doing. Yeah. But I think the
problem with that is, you know, you get half a percent of the bank, you get three, anywhere from
like 3.2 to 3.5 on Coinbase. So the reality is, is, you know know do the banks actually go up because they have to
compete with that that's the thing i would rather see than the opposite direction right
yeah of usdc you know um yields being two percent or one percent because that's the bullshit
or the banks not wanting to give up that kind of no because they run a monopoly right they all
work together they all collude to give you half a percent at
best right and then it's like all right well three percent is way bigger than that and mind you
inflation all this other stuff it's just it's crazy that you know they get to have this level of
interference um in terms of what's being done but to be fair like at the end of the day it's kind of
one of the situations that it makes me consider like now banking, you know, overseas or elsewhere, because this just doesn't make sense, especially if you can
move things digitally. And how they govern that in terms of compliance is another story. But I
think we have to see how all this stuff plays out. Again, the changes that are going to the Senate,
as well as what comes across the aisle to the executive office. So, you know, this is just the
start of things, in my opinion, we'll have to see how more of this stuff plays out and more details
because a lot of this stuff is being all done, you know,
behind the scenes and under the table.
And we'll see what it does when it comes across the field
because I've been looking into this and doing research as well.
It's just really interesting.
You know, people are just going to put their money elsewhere
if they have this and potentially do some work around.
But we'll have to see how it plays out again.
I think what we end up seeing is Coinbase, Kraken, you know, these major exchanges end up essentially in bed with the banks to where now they can offer the banks, you know, a 4% APY.
And in turn, the banks can then offer their customers a three
percent you know and still take that rake on the one i'd rather take that though i like that actually
