Yo, yo, am I coming in clear?
Give me a quick thumbs up.
We're going to get this bad boy rocking and rolling.
Rip should be here in just a minute or AKA the Ripper.
What up, John, Eric, James?
I see you guys all in here, man.
Appreciate you guys being on the Rip and Tip Hour.
We'll get my guy Ripper in here in just a few moments.
But I'm going to go through some news and notes.
Just a quick news and notes.
We're going to talk a lot of news today, especially with this trade deadline coming up.
So we'll spend a majority of our time talking about trade deadlines and how they affect football reality-wise and, of course, fantasy-wise.
Because we're here for fantasy, right?
So just a couple of news and notes.
Roshon Johnson returned back to full practice.
So it looks like he's out of the concussion protocol.
He's going to be ready to rock and roll this week.
For those of you, like myself, who got Deontay Foreman, damn, now we're going to go back to a committee situation.
You know, I still think Foreman might get the lion's share of the goal line work because that's what he does really well.
He does really well in the short yardage category.
But, yeah, so Roshon Johnson returned back to practice.
It does look like Miles Sanders had upgraded to full practice today.
Trevor Lawrence was limited again in practice.
Not really worried about him.
He showed up really well last week.
Kyler Murray was removed from the injury report, and he is ready to go.
Now the question is, is he going to actually play?
And I see Ripper is here.
I think Ripper – oh, hold on, hold on.
All right, so Ripper should be in there in a minute.
So the thing is, is Kyler Murray still going to actually play?
It's exciting news for those of you who do have Kyler Murray.
Hey, as a speculative ad, if you are in a situation where you're not happy with your quarterback situation, why not?
Go ahead and add Kyler Murray if you've got a bench spot available or maybe one of your guys is on IR.
Go ahead and put him on your team.
Because if he does come back and play, I don't think he is because they could, you know, could he be a trade candidate as well?
That's something that we could talk about as well.
But, yeah, if he does find his way out on the field, we know how dynamic Kyler Murray is, especially in fantasy football.
But you guys go ahead and do me a favor.
We're about to get Ripper on here.
Ripper, what is going on, my guy?
And it is exciting to be here on a Thursday where I'm not traveling.
No issues with my connection, I hope.
And we got a lot to talk about.
And I feel like you're going to be dropping a lot of fire and flames in this conversation.
We're going to go ahead and ask you guys to do us a quick favor before we get into the RIPP's top ten list.
Go ahead and like and repost this space in the Jumbotron.
You'll see it right there.
And then also go ahead and repost the other tweet that I put out earlier in this week about Derrick Henry, man.
And we're going to talk a little bit about Derrick Henry.
Where could he possibly be going?
So that's some exciting news that I think could be for fantasy and for reality.
So go ahead and drop that in there.
We'll get some more people dropped in here.
But Ripper, get to the top ten.
I know you said you had some changes that you had to make to it.
Big changes in the top ten.
Before I drop into the top ten, shout out to everyone that's here.
I know people like to come in throughout the conversation.
So they're going to miss some of the fire that we drop here.
You know, let's dive into the top ten.
If you're listening and you have questions, though, and you maybe want us to answer them, but you don't necessarily want to ask them, you can put them in the chat right in the bottom right.
As Tip mentioned, I even have some questions for Tip.
Let's dive into the top ten.
That's just major changes, though, this week.
So if you haven't seen them, they're in the replies already.
Kansas City is number one now because Kansas City, not only are they defending champs, they've got the refs on their side.
They got Taylor Swift on their side.
They've won six in a row.
The Eagles, after smacking my Dolphins, have to be number two.
They look even better than they have all season.
And so they're up to number two.
And then, of course, the 49ers, you can't lose two straight and stay up top, so they've dropped only the three because I still think they've been solid with some injuries.
And then four, big mover up, the Ravens.
We're talking about Lamar.
He's got to be in your MVP conversation, Tip.
I know he is because you know what's up.
And then if they get Derrick Henry, which you've been talking about, is possible.
They might be moving up from four, who knows, maybe to number one.
But they're four this week.
Number five, the Jaguars.
Because Jaguars have just conveniently and quietly just won and won again.
They are very good off the bye under McCarthy.
So pay attention to that stat.
Seven, the Lions, who also got smoked this past weekend by those Ravens.
I think it will help them.
The Dolphins at eight because the Dolphins have to beat a good team if they want to stay up near the top.
They're not going to have a chance to do that this weekend, but maybe in Germany in two weeks against Kansas City.
And then nine, those Browns.
This Deshaun Watson situation is dicey, but that defense is not.
Their defense needs help.
They've got the Thursday night game tonight.
And there's a couple teams right there after them who could easily be sneaking in.
And if anybody has their own top ten, you can put it as a reply.
You can quote post mine with yours.
Of course, I'm here for the conversation.
Tip, what did I do right or wrong?
So this Kansas City, a shout-out to Vince.
Shout-out to my guy, Big Draft Energy, a.k.a. Disco.
Shout-out to John, Eric, James, Alana, Tornado.
Shout-out to all you guys.
But what I like, Rip, is that you got Kansas City number one.
That defense is lights out.
Now, as far as fantasy purposes, they're not really great as far as fantasy goes, but they
Look at what they did against the high-powered Chargers offense last week.
And they are doing really well.
Now, if Mahomes can do like he did last week and get you three, four touchdowns, then this
team is going to be unbeatable.
Maybe, maybe those Baltimore Ravens, if they happen to get Derrick Henry, and we'll talk
a little bit about that in a moment.
But this Kansas City offense is lights out, man.
I like how you didn't, you know, stick with your fandom, your Miami Dolphins.
You dropped the Detroit Lions down.
They both did not show up last week.
I think Detroit could still possibly be in the top five because, I mean, hey, they played
a formidable opponent in the Ravens last week.
I still like what you have.
Shoutouts to Jacksonville Jaguars.
They won three games in 11 days.
Went overseas to England, and they are winning.
They are winning with good defense.
Their offense has been sputtering, but it's starting to come back a little bit.
What the hell's up with Calvin Ridley?
I wish it was Calvin Ridley.
I don't know what's going on with him, but I kind of have a sneaky suspicion.
That when Zay Jones plays, Calvin Ridley gets open a little bit more.
So hopefully, if you guys are a Calvin Ridley owner like myself, you can get, and Zay Jones
I had that on a Discord chat that I was in earlier today.
Should I play Zay Jones or Cortland Sutton?
And I was like, excuse me, Calvin Ridley or Cortland Sutton.
I was like, is Zay Jones playing?
If Zay Jones is playing, play Calvin Ridley.
So that's how I feel about it.
Shout out to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Again, my guy Vince, he's a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
I've been hearing some rumors about them possibly trying to get Patrick Sertan.
Deontay Johnson just added to the injury report.
That just came down the pipeline right now.
This guy cannot stay healthy, man.
I wish he could, but he cannot stay healthy.
But again, anyway, I love it.
Yo, Tip, Tip, a couple of just replies quickly here.
One, that Kansas City defense has been incredible, which actually just kind of shows you how far
the Chiefs may be above the league.
Because as they showed this past week, if Mahomes and Kelsey get it going, and they even
add another receiver with the way that Rasheed Rice is starting to come on, and we've talked
We think they'll probably add a receiver, or at least I do.
So, you know, and McCall Hardman made a play, but if they add another weapon, that defense
is the best defense that Mahomes has had so far.
Just a note, if you're paying attention to this week specifically, Patrick Mahomes, 12
and 0 versus the Broncos in his career, looks to go to 13 and 0.
So you probably expect another W this weekend.
And then look, I might love the Dolphins.
That's my childhood team.
But at the end of the day, I call it the way I see it.
And specifically when it comes to rankings, these rankings are not based on, you know,
they're based on my feelings, but also what you see on the field.
I always hate when people do stuff and they just forget the wins.
Like, you know, you play the game to win.
So when you win, in my book, you get the most credit.
So that's where we are with the top 10 this week.
Before we get to Hussain, I see he has his hand up.
You know, they got McCall Hardman this past week, talking about the Kansas City Chiefs.
I think that helped open up some things for them in the offense.
Maybe can help some of these younger receivers.
But another thing I want to know from you, Rip, who is a receiver out there,
a la maybe a D-hop or maybe a Cortland Sutton, that would go on this offense
and make a big splash for them that would just catapult them to an even bigger level
He wants a contract in the offseason.
You know, he would be the perfect receiver in that system.
And he would put them over to the top.
I think they should go and do it.
I know it sounds a little bit crazy because the Bucs are still in contention,
but the Bucs lose tonight.
I think they should think about it.
And I think Mike Evans is the perfect fit.
Dang, I kind of like that, man.
That would be, oh my gosh.
That would be something to behold, man, if that happens.
But I see my guy Hussain has his hand up.
Go ahead, ask your question, Hussain.
If you guys, any of you guys have any questions, comments, tweet down there
or comment down there who you would like to see go to your team.
If your team's still got a dog and a fight in them, go ahead and tell us who you want.
But what you got, Hussain?
Okay, so I actually have a fantasy football question, and I'm not going to lie.
I'm kind of – I actually got two.
So one question is that should I start Cole Comet or Gerald Everett this week?
Ripper, who do you think, Cole Comet or Gerald Everett?
Especially when you look at Chicago, who doesn't even have Justin Fields out there.
I really wouldn't want to start either.
But, I mean, I guess if I had to throw a dice, I'd throw it on Gerald Everett.
But, you know, don't hold me to it.
I think Gerald Everett is starting to catch a little bit of fire these last couple of weeks.
Donald Parham is not at 100%.
He's still dealing with – I know he had the wrist injury.
So I like – I would say go with Gerald Everett out of those two.
I know that Tyson Badgett had a really good game last week.
But, you know, he's going – this week he's going against those same charges.
So the thing is, I'm going to – I'm going to not – I'm going to pump the brakes on that a little bit.
I'm just going to go ahead and go with what I know and what I've seen these last couple of weeks from Gerald Everett.
He will not do anything for you.
And all of a sudden he has a string of three, four weeks in a row where he starts to do some nice things.
And then he disappears again.
He has a familiarity in the offense.
And he's got a better quarterback.
So go with – go with my guy, Gerald Everett, 100%.
I see that big draft energy put in there.
Jared Judy to the New England Patriots.
What do you think about that, Ripper?
Jared Judy to the New England Patriots.
We saw a different New England team last week.
What's your thoughts on that?
Yeah, I mean, it's interesting.
You know, maybe Judy just needs that change of scenery because he's worn out as welcome in Denver.
It's concerning, though, because coming out of Alabama, I was a big Jerry Judy fan.
I thought he was electric in college.
I thought he was going to be better than he has been in the NFL.
I'm just concerned about the Patriots' offense in general.
Can they support multiple receivers?
I like Kendrick Bourne a little bit, but I just don't know about Mac Jones.
You know, but if I'm the Patriots and I could get Judy, I'd try for it for sure.
I agree with you coming out of college, coming out of Alabama.
But he has worn out his welcome out there in Denver.
He's had a couple of seasons where he wasn't so healthy.
But you brought up a name, Kendrick Bourne.
This Kendrick Bourne guy, I really, really, really like him.
And I've seen some rumors floating out there that he could be one of those guys that goes to this Kansas City offense.
I think if that was to happen, if they're not trying to go for a big name, big splash, that would be pretty cool to see, man.
So I would love to see that.
Shout out to my guy, Jay Webb.
I see him in the building.
Hopefully we can get a couple of lines from him tonight as far as some betting lines.
I got a question about that.
Do you think that Belichick is going to help Andy Reid improve so he just kind of topples Belichick?
The better that Reid does with the Chiefs, it encroaches on Belichick's Patriots in a weird way.
And, like, they haven't had good success in New England in understanding the receivers they had.
I mean, they let Jacoby Myers walk, replaced him with Juju.
And, yeah, Kendrick Bourne looks like he's a player.
So if they trade him, what a disaster that would be.
We got some more comments coming in here.
He says, after Chiefs take on the Broncos this Sunday, this will be another win.
Oh, he was talking about it.
That's basically what you were talking about.
So he's talking about these Chiefs get another dub.
So I guess he's a Chiefs fan.
I see her in the building as well.
Jay Webb wants to request a talk.
I'm going to let him come up here and speak.
What you got for us, brother?
Just, you know, getting ready for tonight's game.
It's a must win for my Bills, in my opinion.
So getting everything situated for that.
I feel pretty good about that one.
Bills defense making me nervous.
And a lot of news coming out for this Sunday.
It's going to be, you know, we get only so many Sundays, man, of football.
We just got to make the most of every single one of them.
So I'm excited for another great week.
Well, can we, let's ask Jay Webb this question.
Because, you know, the Bills are a squad.
They're home tonight on the Thursday night game.
They've lost three straight against the spread.
Not only do you, I imagine, you think they're going to win.
I think a lot of us think they win tonight.
But do they cover the spread?
I have not bet them, so I'm not on the spread tonight.
When they were at eight and a half, I teased them down to two and a half.
And I also like them paired with the Bills money line.
I like the total paired, parlayed with the money line.
You can get that at, like, plus 126.
So I like that one because I think if this game goes over, I think the Bills are going to win.
And I think it's going to go over because I think that they can put up 28 points.
Like, I think, here's the thing.
Ever since we lost, you know, our three best defenders, the Bills defense went from top five in the league to bottom five in the league.
Like, that is just a startling flip.
And so I think they're going to win this game.
But I also think that Baker is going to do enough to put, you know, 17 points on the board.
And I think the Bills can handle the rest of it from there because you can throw on this Buccaneers team.
Josh Allen is doing great against the Blitz, the Bucs Blitz at a top five rate in the league.
So I think that there's a lot of positives there.
I like Dalton Kincaid tonight.
I'm on some of his props with Dawson Knox being on IR.
He's going to have, you know, I think he's going to get some run tonight.
And rookie tight ends progress throughout the season.
But, yeah, I think I would not be betting the Bills spread as much of a Bills fan as I am.
But I'm happy to put them in some teasers if you can tease them down through three and seven.
But not Dalton Kincaid tonight.
I like Dalton Schultz to do something this week.
I actually, in my rankings, I had Dalton Kincaid and Dalton Schultz.
And I was like, oh, I got the two Daltons, right?
And then as soon as I ranked Dalton Schultz, this IR stuff comes out about Knox.
But don't sleep on this Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense when it comes to the tight end position.
They do give up a little bit on the wide receivers.
But the tight end position, they got it on lock with those safeties and those linebackers helping out.
So, I think Dalton Kincaid will do some work, but I'm a little suspicious about, you know, him actually having a really good game.
I think it's going to be more of a Gabe Davis game or especially, obviously, Stephon Diggs.
But I feel like it might be more of a Gabe Davis game.
Am I totally wrong on that, Rip?
Real quick, a fun stat I heard earlier.
Like I said, Bucs bring the Blitz at a top five rate in the league.
Steph Diggs is a 38% target share when Josh Allen is blitzed this season.
So, Gabe Davis, I'm sure, could do great.
But I think when, you know, when the shit hits the fan, it's just going to be quick hitters to Steph Diggs.
And so, I mean, I think Gabe Davis could have a good game.
I'm not starting him in fantasy this week.
I was going to have to if we got bad news about Tyreek, but it sounds like he's going to be good to go.
But I think it's going to be a lot of, you know, 8 to 10-yard passes to Steph Diggs today when he's under pressure.
Ripper, what do you think?
Yeah, I think J-Web's right.
I mean, J-Web knows his team well.
And the thing about, you know, the thing about Diggs that I feel like you can't quantify with an analytical number, let's say,
is that when it gets tough, like, you know, they have to go to what they know.
And tonight they know it's a must win.
You know, they can't afford to mess around.
Josh Allen's going to be looking for his guy.
We know Steph Diggs is his guy.
And, you know, I'd be on that, especially after last week where Diggs only had 58 yards and six catches.
I'd expect for lots of targets, lots of catches, and a big Steph Diggs game, that's where I'd be.
I was totally wrong on a lot of things last week, but I did hit on my tight end with Mark Andrews.
I just, I like Dalton Schultz a little bit more, but that's okay.
We're going to see what happens, especially after, and we're going to see what happens right away after tonight.
So I hope J-Web is right, just off the strip, that he is a Bills fan and that he wants his Bills to do well.
And I got a couple of connections to the Bills team as well.
Not the team, but, you know, the community.
My girlfriend's family's from there.
My parents used to live there back in the day.
So I always root a little bit for the Bills.
Well, Tick, before we go to the next question, I see that we'll go there.
But just one final stat, the last three home games for Buffalo, Diggs has had over 100 yards receiving.
So, you know, in Buffalo, under pressure, that man shows up, and so it's going to be a big game.
Man, how did you know that that's actually one of my favorite Queens songs?
All right, so I see my guy, the Tornado Aztec, has his hand up.
What's going on, brother?
Then we'll go to James next.
Yeah, like I said in the comments, yeah, Chiefs, they're going to beat the Broncos.
Hopefully, maybe a better score, like lead or whatever, than that last game, because I thought for sure they're going to have a good lead.
For the next two games, you've got Miami, they're playing at Chiefs Stadium, Chiefs Kingdom.
The following week, once again, or next game or whatever, the Eagles at Chiefs Stadium.
I think Chiefs are going to, obviously, the Chiefs and the Eagles, it's like their second game.
So, it'll be like the rematch before the Super Bowl, if they decide that both teams go to the Super Bowl again this year.
But this would be like the second matchup or whatever.
I think that game's going to be really good.
Miami and Chiefs, I'm going to say it's going to be kind of close, because you've got Tyreek Hill at the Cheetah.
But, yeah, I could see later in the season, kind of like with one of the teams that's playing tonight, which go Bills, because I'm rooting for the Bills, or the Buccaneers, because I don't like the Buccaneers.
Yeah, Bills are going to win that game.
But later in the season, Chiefs got the Bengals and the Bills.
I think those are going to be two games this year, and the Eagles, probably, where, if it's possible, that Chiefs get another loss, considering they lost their first game this season.
But, hopefully, they get all Ws for the rest of the year.
Well, one note on that, too.
The Chiefs-Dolphins game is actually going to be in Germany, where the Chiefs are considered the home team.
But that will be a home game for Kansas City, even though it's not an end.
And then they'll go on bye before they play in Philadelphia.
So, that'll be a great match on the Super Bowl rematch.
But that will come with a bye.
And if you look at the stats for Andy Reid off a bye, they're really, really good.
So, that'll be a great match.
Well, I think the Chiefs-Eagles game, it shows that it's going to be at Chiefs.
It's an Eagles away game.
The league loves the Chiefs, man.
They gave them at home against Philly, Buffalo, and Cincinnati.
Like, just give them all the tough matchups in a row.
But the thing of it is, is then you got later in the season, so many games later, or a few weeks or so,
you got Bills and Chiefs.
Chiefs are playing at home.
So, that's going to be, like, a nail-biter for me because you got Josh Allen who likes to run the ball.
And they do like to play their little game with the Chiefs or whatever.
So, it depends on my opinion when it comes to the Chiefs.
Kelsey and Mahomes, they got to stay healthy.
And stay healthy throughout the season, and especially playoffs, which we've seen how that goes sometimes with Mahomes.
He works around injuries.
But the Bengals game, I don't know.
Bengals beat the Chiefs last year.
I can't remember what stadium it was at.
If it was Bengals home or not.
But that's going to be another iffy one.
But hopefully, they're going to rest of the year somehow pull out all these big fat Ws.
I'm just going to give a possible prediction and maybe your guys' opinion.
You see the Eagles and Chiefs, especially, depending on how the outcome of this game they got coming up later on in the season.
Do you see a rematch at Super Bowl or do you see two other teams?
That's all I have to say.
For me, I mean, it's tough to tell at this point.
I don't think it's going to be a rematch.
With these Chiefs, I mean, with these Eagles, they are going to do everything in their power to get back to that.
Because they were a couple of plays away from winning the Super Bowl, in my opinion.
And, you know, with them getting Kevin Byard.
Possibly, if they get Patrick Sertan, that's another.
I mean, they're going to shore up that back end, which has been a big question mark for them.
The Chiefs, I mean, yeah.
They could definitely make it.
Their defense is playing lights out.
Their offense has worked some things out.
So, I think that they're going to be close to being there.
But we're going to talk a little bit about trades as well, Tornado.
So, that might be something we'll talk about in a second.
But before we talk about that, we're going to go to my guy, James.
But before that, I want you guys to go to the Jumbo Perron and repost this space in here.
We'll get some more people in here.
We've got about a little over 30 minutes left in the program.
And then we're going to talk about Thursday Night Football.
We talked a little bit about it, but from a fantasy aspect.
And then we're going to talk some trades.
But before that, James, what you got for us, man?
Hey, I just wanted to kind of chime in regarding some betting tonight.
I know it's a primetime game.
And typically, primetime games, you know, a lot of scores are supposed to go over.
But please keep in mind, like, your Tampa and the Bills, you know, they don't allow too many points.
If you take a look at this year, Bills are fifth and Tampa Bay's sixth.
So, if you are betting on the total, you can buy the total down from 42.5 to 38.
And I think too much player prop that you got to go with tonight is, you know, you're not going to be able to run against Tampa.
So, I locked in James Cook receiving yards at 17.5.
And actually just went over to 18.5.
And, you know, Diggs receiving over 6.5.
It sounds good to me, man, especially the Diggs at 6.5.
I mean, that sounds like a no-brainer, especially at home.
So, we're going to go with our Thursday night programming, the night tonight, Bills versus the Buccaneers.
Rip, give me a fantasy superstar from each team.
I think we know it's probably going to be Stephon Diggs from the Bills.
But give me somebody other than Stephon Diggs that you think might blow up.
And then from each team, give me one guy that you feel like is going to shit the bed, so to speak.
So, obviously, yeah, I've said what I said about Steph Diggs.
I mean, at the end of the day, Steph Diggs is in your lineup no matter what.
If it's not Steph Diggs or if another guy is, you know, I'd look to Josh Allen.
Obviously, he's a must start.
But I expect Josh Allen to have a great night.
He's going to put the team on his shoulders.
I think he'll rush a little bit more.
I think it'll be a big night for Buffalo across the board.
I guess if you're looking for someone on Buffalo you don't want to start, I mean, maybe it's James Cook.
Only because he's started to lose some of the timeshare to, you know, not get as many of the carries that you'd want.
And I guess if I look across the ball and I look to the Bucs, you know, I guess if I have to go for who is going to be a guy I want to start on that Bucs offense,
I'd go back to Mike Evans just because he'd be a big player Mike.
And, you know, I think they'll play catch up and have to get him involved.
And then if I had to say someone I don't want to start, I'd go against Chris Godwin.
You know, Godwin is a guy that just hasn't gotten it done since his injury.
And I think it's partially the quarterback.
I think it's partially the offense.
It just hasn't looked as good as you'd want, even though I like the player.
So I'd say I'd be bullish on Mike Evans tonight and bearish on Chris Godwin if I had to choose one.
But really, you know, my feeling on the Thursday night games are tough to play them.
And I try to stay away from them.
I see Jay Webb has his hand up.
What you got for us, Jay Webb?
Quick point on the James Cook thing.
If you're, like, having a tough decision between James Cook and another guy you think is a coin flip,
watch the injury report for Tampa.
Vito Vea did not participate in practice at all.
If he is out for the Bucs, I would be more comfortable starting James Cook.
I think I would use that personally as a tiebreaker when it comes to a fancy decision around James Cook.
And since we're talking James Cook, can I just say my favorite thing about James Cook?
This is something I put out in week one.
For anyone that didn't know, it's just a fun stat.
James Cook's brother is Dalvin Cook.
James Cook's middle name is Dalvin.
And Dalvin Cook's middle name is James.
So you've got James Dalvin Cook, Dalvin James Cook.
I feel like no one talks about it.
Maybe I'm a nerd, but that's what I just wanted to add.
Least creative parents ever.
I knew that they were brothers.
I didn't know that they shared names like that.
It's kind of wild, right?
Like they just flipped the name right there.
So you've got Dalvin James Cook and James Dalvin Cook.
I see we got my guy Green Hat in here.
And then after we get to Green Hat, I'll give my guys, my superstars, and my duds.
Look, you know, this game here, I think one of my favorite targets, and maybe I'm a little
bit on, you know, standing alone on this hill, but I think Dalton Kincaid, you know, is definitely
You know, it looks like, you know, obviously we have the Stephon Diggs, the obvious target,
but we need somebody else, you know, and I'm very, like, I like James Cook, you know,
especially for his receiving yards at 17 and a half.
I know it's moving up, but I like that as well.
But I think Dalton Kincaid's going to have a big night, man.
That's one of my favorite picks, man.
It sounds like I'm the one standing on the hill by myself because I did pick Dalton, but
I didn't pick Dalton Kincaid.
So I basically, I came out with my top 12 tight ends.
I do it every week, every Thursday.
It was number 12 was either Dalton Kincaid or Dalton Schultz, and I picked Dalton Schultz.
So I looks like I'm standing on this hill by myself, and I will stand on that hill,
and I'll plant the flag if I get this right or wrong.
Well, Tip, you know, listen, the one thing we got to say about Kincaid is, look,
Dawson Knox is out now, and Kincaid did have a big game last week.
His first big game, really.
Eight for, you know, he got eight targets.
He caught them all, 75 yards.
Now, is that going to continue is what we're all kind of guessing on, right?
And so there is definite potential there.
Can I ask Rip, like, do you like the – do you think – so I'm not really big on –
I know that the targets, like, I think maybe it's – I can't remember.
I got to go back and look.
But I really like the yards, man.
I mean, I'm kind of hitting the over, man.
Like I said, no, I might be standing on – I might be getting ahead of myself
because of last week, but the fact that they don't have Dalton –
obviously Knox there playing, I feel like there's got to be another target.
And I definitely – I dropped off on the Gabe Davis train.
I'm already out, you know.
Real quick, you look at the depth chart for tight end on the Bills.
Knox, they have two tight ends on IR.
The other one just got ruled out.
So Dalton Kincaid is literally the only tight end who is playing for them tonight.
So he's going to get a shit ton of opportunities.
Just throwing that out there.
J-Web makes a great point.
Those are all true factors.
Again, he probably does go over 39 because the opportunity is set up for him.
I just – on a personal thing, I've said this and I'll continue.
I really try to stay away from the Thursday night games outside of your stud studs.
And I wouldn't consider Kincaid a stud.
He might, you know, be awesome tonight.
But it's just a preference.
I try to just stay away from it.
But, yeah, opportunity is there.
From one Philly fan in green hat to another Philly fan in Vince.
My guy Vince from Parts Unknown.
Yo, shout out to you, Tip.
What you got for us, man?
This is what – me and my friends say this when it comes to, like, betting on players, bro.
You always – you bet on your stars and you fade your bills.
Bills are bums or whatever you want to call them.
So, you know, bet on the stars, fade your bills.
You know, Dalton Kincaid may be the only tight end, but he's the only tight end because the other good ones are out.
So, I'm not saying Dalton Kincaid isn't great, but he's – I don't know.
I was not expecting that, but I – okay.
But do you guys think Mike Evans has a good game tonight or what?
I mean, he's – how many thousand-yard seasons has this guy had?
Yeah, he's had 8,000-yard seasons.
Yeah, I was exaggerating.
He gets it done every year, bro, and it doesn't seem to matter who's behind center.
I mean, obviously, he had Tom Brady for a couple years, but it doesn't matter.
I believe Mike Evans is going to do what Mike Evans does.
We were on this space earlier.
We're going to get to it in just a moment, I promise.
But, yeah, I think Mike Evans is going to do work, bro.
And if anything, if they're behind, then they're going to have to throw the ball.
You know, some people think it's going to be a little closer than what it is –
I guess what they're projecting.
But I do think Mike Evans gets work done tonight for sure.
The Bills getting smoked by outside receivers since Tredavious White went down too.
The splits are crazy bad for the Bills.
I mean, I would just say this too about the Mike Evans thing.
If Mike Evans doesn't have a good game, it's hard to imagine the Bucs have any chance tonight.
And I'm going to get to my guy that I'm picking for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
And I'm not going to go into too much detail because after this space, I'm going to be on the space with the sports affiliation.
And I'll get into more detail then.
The Buffalo Bills, you know, their defense is what their defense is.
But they are giving up points to the running back position.
And I really like Rashad White this week.
Rashad White has been terrible.
But he still gets the volume.
And that's all I'm going to say.
So I think that Rashad White gets his volume this week.
Does he get in the end zone?
I give it about a 65% chance that he gets in the end zone.
But I do like his volume and the work that they've been getting him.
On the opposite team, on the Bills side, I like Gabe Davis this week.
I know, and J-Web put it out there, that, you know, the blitz rate that the Tampa Bay gets out there on opponents, it doesn't seem like it's good for Gabe Davis.
But I think they're going to try to find a way to get him involved.
I know Gabe Davis is a feast or famine type guy.
I think this week he gets a little work done.
I think he gets a touchdown.
He's a red zone guy, too.
A lot of people don't understand or they overlook.
He likes to get – Allen likes to give him targets in the red zone.
So I like to see maybe him getting a touchdown today as well.
But, Ripper, we're going to go into some trade talks.
So we talked a little bit about Derrick Henry.
Yeah, King Henry possibly going to the Baltimore Ravens, maybe the Dallas Cowboys.
I would hate to see him go to Dallas.
I would love to see him go to the Ravens.
I think that would catapult that team to another level.
What would be your thoughts if you saw King Henry donning that purple and black, Ripper?
I'd be concerned for the rest of the league.
He's a – he'd fit that offense.
They need a prime time running back.
If you pair him with Lamar, the way that offense is starting to get it together, I'm a big, big fan of Zay Flowers.
I think he hasn't even tapped into what he's going to be.
That offense looks like it's getting it together.
So if they add Derrick Henry, I mean – and I do think Derrick Henry is getting traded.
So I would love to see it if I was a Baltimore fan.
If I was a team play in Baltimore, I would not love to see it.
Yeah, Baltimore might be the good spot for them.
Eric is going to actually be helping co-host with me on Sundays when we do our sit, start, line-up questions, injury reports.
Just fire up Chris Godwin today.
I got a feeling he might go off today.
Y'all been forgetting about little Chris Godwin.
We got my guy Pete the Greek in here as well, but I see James having his hand up.
James, what you got for us, man?
Hey, sorry to chime in on the Henry, but just probably about an hour before the space,
Bill's got into a little hands-up with a trade talk for Henry as well.
I could see that, too, with Damian Harris going down or, you know, his situation with his neck injury.
That would be – I mean, if he goes to any one of these high-powered AFC offenses, that would be something beautiful to see.
I would like to see him more in a Baltimore Ravens uniform just because I think that just adds a completely different element.
But it would be nice to see him with the Bills as well.
Hell, it would be nice to see him with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Joe Mixon is not getting it done this week – I mean, this year.
So, that would be something to see him in one of those uniforms.
I think he is going to get traded because the Tennessee Titans are selling house.
They are – this week they are starting the rookie –
I think they traded Bird, too, to the Eagles.
They traded Bird to the Eagles.
Shout-out to my Eagles fans.
So, yeah, that could be a situation where they're just trying to figure out, hey, what's the next step?
D-Hop can be going away as well.
And I would love to see D-Hop either go to Buffalo or go to Kansas City.
Where do you feel like a good destination would be for D-Hop, Ripper?
Personally, I think that hop is past it.
So, he's not going to be a big-time playmaker.
Could he be a possession-type receiver for a team if he's not the main guy?
So, you know, you could put him on a few squads.
But, honestly, if you're looking for him to be the game-changer, I wouldn't.
If you're looking for him to slot in as your, like, wide receiver three on a team that needs it, okay.
But I wouldn't be looking for him to be the game-changer coming onto a squad.
I think Miami would be nice for Hopkins.
You guys do need a third receiver between Berrios and Cedric Wilson, I think, from Houston, who used to play for the Cowboys?
Well, Miami, don't forget, Miami just got Chase Claypool.
So, they had Chase Claypool.
They've got Chosen Anderson.
They've got a number of guys there that they could slot in.
And I don't even think that Hopkins fits the mold.
Like, they're looking for fast guys.
I was going to say, he's too slow.
He can't hit 22 miles an hour in the open field, so he's not going to fit in.
I was going to say, he doesn't run a 4-2.
Yeah, like, the whole thing is, like, the first thing they look for when they look for players is how fast you are.
And he's, like, at the bottom of that list, so he just is eliminated regardless of how good he is at catching the ball.
That's right, but if your fast people are going fast, the slow guy will catch it.
Oh, look at him, look at him.
Pete the Greek, I see you got your hand up.
This is for Tip and Rip or whoever wants to chime in.
Hey, guys, so help me out here.
I'm going to start him, but he's questionable.
What are you guys' thoughts on that?
I think he's going to be okay.
We saw last week he was a game-time decision, and he had one of the most rushing attempts and yardage this year so far.
So I think he's going to be okay.
He was limited in practice today.
And for those of you who don't know who Baby Jesus is, just look at Trevor Lawrence's picture, and the dude's got these flowing golden lines.
And that's who Baby Jesus is.
I was honestly feeling like I was left out here.
I'm like, who's Baby Jesus?
Yeah, Rip, no, that's my initial name for him.
But the other one I had for you guys is Montgomery's done pretty much, right?
I mean, I might as well throw somebody.
I don't have a lot of choice there.
David Montgomery will not be done.
David Montgomery or a different Montgomery?
Yeah, he's not pitching, but he's – unless we know something that is happening outside of the game.
No, he'll be back in a couple weeks.
But Trevor Lawrence against Pittsburgh, I like Trevor Lawrence.
He had a great game last week.
So, I'm liking what I'm seeing from Trevor Lawrence.
Yeah, I mean, that's pretty good, right, guys?
I mean, that's the only thing that concerns me.
They looked pretty good last week.
So, that's the only thing that concerned me.
And that's Steelers' defense, by the way.
Usually pretty, you know, tough to play against has been an easy go against this season.
So, I like Trevor Lawrence.
Fire up Trevor with Dougie.
Fire up – fire up – what do you call him again, Pete?
I almost said baby Jesus.
No, no, I was at fire up Trevor with Dougie, Pete.
Okay, I see we got a few hands here.
I see we got a few hands here.
So, we're going to get to these hands.
We're going to go to Green Hat.
I see you in the space as well.
Allison, what you got for us?
Donka, Donka Shen, my friend.
Donka Shen, and I'm happy to be here.
My nickname for Trevor has always been Sunshine.
Like the character from Remember the Titans.
That's why when he said baby Jesus, I'm like, okay, but who would that be?
I'm an Atlanta Falcons fan, and I'm hoping that my Falcons can put together 60 minutes of football,
both sides of the ball, and eliminate the turnovers.
You know, I'm like, what else can they do?
You know, three interceptions two weeks ago, three fumbles this week.
But, you know, I would say two of those fumbles weren't Desmond's fault.
So, that's just what I'm looking forward to.
Because there are no buys this week, you know, it's kind of jacking up my fantasy football team.
But I got everybody in that I need, and I am hoping, hoping, hoping that my head coach does not get cute again
and wait until the last minute to tell me that Bijan will not play.
Okay, Allison, you being a Falcons fan, I want to get your thoughts on that.
Because there are a lot of pissed-off fantasy managers out there with that whole situation.
We didn't find out until halftime.
Halftime, thank you, until halftime.
Like, tell me what your thoughts were on that real quick.
My thoughts on that real quick are this.
If you tell me he's got a headache, you know, if it's a migraine, because who was it?
The guy that used to play for the Denver Broncos, they used to get, the running back, they used to get migraines.
If he's got a migraine, then, yeah, I get that.
But then don't come back in the fourth quarter on a drive that you need to complete to win the game
and give him the ball for three yards.
That was the most passive-aggressive thing I'd ever seen in my life.
And just to be clear, I think we got a Terrell Davis shout-out.
That's who it was, Terrell Davis.
No, I love that throwback.
But, yeah, that was my thing is I just think that, you know, I think something else was going on.
Maybe Bijan was late for something or missed curfew or something.
And instead of just being a man and saying, hey, he's not going to play because he broke curfew.
But to dress him and have him in the game in the first half and then not give him the ball
and then at halftime say, well, he's just not feeling well.
Okay, but it's hot as blazes out here in Tampa.
If he's not feeling well, why is he out here on the field?
And look, and because of that, Bijan might go off this week, guys.
I'm telling you, I just got this feeling that he's going to be like, all right, all right, you know, I messed up, I goofed up, I showed up late.
And now he might get it going.
What do you feel about that, Ripper?
I mean, I would love to see Bijan get it going.
I don't know the way they're using him.
It doesn't make any sense that they would put him on the field and not play through him.
I don't understand Arthur Smith really what he's doing.
You don't waste the draft pick that early for a guy very talented to not actually give him.
I mean, he's averaging five a carry.
So I don't understand what the reason that he doesn't get the ball more.
So it's hard to explain what's going on.
Hopefully he does go off soon.
The only thing I got to say about probably Bijan is maybe they're protecting their franchise.
That could be their franchise in the long run.
Arthur Smith, no, he could probably get it done with Algieri and Patterson coming back.
Personally, if you're – I don't understand the idea of protecting the guy.
I mean, you got to play the guy.
But again, this is like an Arthur Smith thing.
If you listen to what he says in the postgame, it just doesn't make – it doesn't add up.
I mean, but, you know, he's the coach, not me.
Yeah, and I really believe the Falcons are one quarterback away.
London's going to be a stud in a couple years.
They can get Pitts involved.
The only thing is that Arthur Smith loves Jonu.
Jonu was his guy in Tennessee.
So he just – I don't know.
He liked to target him in the red zone.
Man, I see my guy Alfonso came up in here.
But shout out to D-Black and Nick Spaces.
I know the Knicks had a tough loss last night.
But, hey, they looked up.
But I got my guy Alfonso in here.
And then we'll get to J-Web.
And then we'll get to Rip's player of the week.
And then my player of the week.
And then we'll close up shop.
So I just saw that Raheem Mostert's on the injury report right now.
Do you think he's going to end up playing this week or no?
You know, it's – well, you know what, Ripper?
You're the Miami Dolphins fan.
Go ahead and answer that one.
I think a lot of these things are just kind of – and it's not just the Dolphins.
We're seeing this a lot with these teams.
A lot of guys will miss practice here or there.
I think they're kind of like a rest day in a sense.
And they're being extra careful during the weekend season.
So, you know, Mostert will play.
You know, especially on Wednesday, a lot of people start to panic and like,
Oh, oh, why are they not playing?
But the thing is this, guys.
If they don't practice on Wednesday, especially these older veteran guys,
I mean, not to say that Mostert's old.
But he's been playing in the league for some time.
They like to rest their guys.
But look at the Thursday report.
Now, the big, big, big day for practice reports are Fridays.
If these people are not practicing on Fridays,
then there is a good chance that they may not play.
So that's what you want to look at for the practice reports.
J-Web, what you got for us?
Vita Veya is out tonight.
So, personally, I think you can fire up James Cook pretty confidently in this one.
Because I think they're going to be able to run on this Bucs team without Veya in there.
So, okay, now let me ask you this.
As a speculative ad, would you add Latavius Murray, too?
I would maybe add him, but I wouldn't play him tonight.
Like, I don't think he's going to get enough touches to –
I mean, unless your team is just – with there being no bye weeks,
I don't think it's really worth it unless your team is just fucking wrecked from injuries.
And I haven't looked at any DFS lineups for Latavius Murray.
But what would your thoughts be on that?
If you're playing Showdown, I think that –
I mean, you can tell yourself a story on, like, hey, Latavius Murray is a goal line guy.
They get it within the five, and he can run in a couple touchdowns.
Like, he's probably not going to be very highly owned in DFS tonight.
It'll probably be, like, a huge, huge discrepancy between his ownership and James Cook's.
So, you know, if you think this game is going to go sideways, which you kind of need it to,
if you want to win a Showdown contest and you want to get to the top of the leaderboard solo,
you need things to get kind of weird.
So, yeah, I mean, in that case, like, he's a fine play.
And, you know, I love weird.
You know, I love weird, man.
You know, I'm the guy that said Dalton Schultz, not Dalton Kincaid.
But, anyway, Ripper, tell me who is going to be your fantasy superstar of the week.
So, the fantasy superstar of the week, we're going to go to Indianapolis,
and we're going to finally see the breakout for Jonathan Taylor.
He's been coming on since he returned.
Zach Moss didn't practice today.
That timeshare looks to be headed towards Jonathan Taylor's way.
He looked good last week.
This is the week where it really changes.
And so, Jonathan Taylor is the guy.
And then, additionally, if you're looking for a wideout, I like George Pickens.
He's been coming on strong as well.
You just said it at the top.
Deontay Johnson might be hurt.
Even if he's not, that Pickens-Pick-It combo is something I like to, you know, partake in.
And so, I like Pickens and Jonathan Taylor.
They're starting to heat up.
Eric B, what are your Tampa Bay Bucs going to do tonight?
I mean, I am not like, I'm not over the moon.
Would I be ecstatic if they were to win?
I will say that they are 2-0 on the road this year.
Buffalo's a completely different animal.
I've seen a lot of things this week that have stuck in my head.
One, Baker Mayfield's passer rating is higher under pressure than it is when the pocket is clean.
I'm expecting, I mean, do I have money on the game?
Of course, because sadly, I think I might be having degenerate tendencies.
I just want to go out there and see them perform well.
I know that Bay is going to be out, but Kalajah Kansi is definitely somebody that needs to have some attention on him.
And I think that the Bucs can keep it close.
That's why we watch the games.
But I'm excited about a Thursday night game featuring my favorite team since I was a little kid.
I was born in Tampa on Bucs through and through.
Just want them to do well.
I'm going to mention one more thing.
I heard DFS be mentioned tonight.
I'm going to mention the lineup that I have.
And I'm going to let everybody else maybe help me or make some changes.
I've got Allen at MVP and Evans, Kincaid, the Bills defense, and Gabe Davis in the flex.
So sometimes I kind of feel like I'm on a sports talk radio show.
I actually, we talked about Gabe Davis earlier.
Jay Webb, who is a Bills fan, was not big on him.
I, on the other hand, I am big on, I'm a little bit bigger on Gabe Davis.
But with this Vita Vea news not coming up, or him not playing now, are they going to blitz as much?
So I kind of like Gabe Davis there.
What are your thoughts on that, Ripper?
I mean, I'm not trying to play him tonight if I had a choice.
If I had to, I'd go to it.
You know, as I said earlier, I think Steph Diggs is the guy tonight.
And then as we've talked about throughout the program, Dalton Kincaid has a shot now with no other tight ends.
But, you know, they could all eat.
Ripper, can I give you a question then on Gabe Davis?
Because I'm in a pickle about to start somebody, and I have him starting.
If I give you some options here.
So it's super flex, so I got to start three receivers.
I got Devontae and CeeDee Lamb, Gabe Davis at the third, and my bench right now would be in Jigba, Dachshund, and just picked up Quinton Johnson because of the Palmer injury.
I don't know if the first listener is still listening, but if Palmer's out, maybe he could step up.
Yeah, that's like – do you have a dartboard nearby?
I don't, but I got two kids that I can use as dartboards.
No, I would never do that.
Yeah, you know, maybe play a little, like, spin them around and ask them to just first name that they say, and you play that.
There's a game to get the kids involved in.
You just named, like, four of the receivers that are all kind of, like, similar somewhat.
I mean, I guess I do like Gabe Davis a little bit more than Quinton Johnson for sure because we haven't seen it there.
And Jigba, I don't know because Metcalf is coming back.
You know, so maybe you go Davis there.
But, again, I just hate playing these guys on a Thursday night, and then they put up nothing, and then you look at your week.
It just ruins your fantasy weekend.
Yeah, Thursdays are always – for some reason, I always get bite in the butt on Thursdays.
Thursdays, feast of famine.
I know we're going to wrap up here in a couple minutes.
Tip's got his other show coming up.
But there's something about when your guy doesn't do it on a Thursday compared to a Sunday, that just hurts more.
Like, if it doesn't happen in the middle of the game Sunday, you've got other things to take your mind off it.
You're sitting there for two more days.
Like, it just stresses you out.
Thanks, Calvin Ridley, for last week.
Unless you're playing Thursday, and they got Alvin Kamara in car just dumping it to him.
Real quick, I want to get to my stud of the week.
It's going to be Austin Eckler.
He's going against the Chicago Bears.
Chicago gives up a bunch of points to the running back position, guys.
So, look out for Austin Eckler to have his blow-up week this week.
Can I give you my stud real quick for the week for you guys?
Look out for C.J. Stroud.
He should have been number one.
But before we close up shop, Ripper Sage, what's up, brother?
We're on the Sage Up Network, baby.
How's it going, everybody?
Just missing all you guys.
I see my guy Carlos in the crowd.
And my guy, Robert, is on next.
We got everybody in here.
Appreciate y'all tapping in.
So, another tip, major, ripper, and tip space on the Sage Up Network and the NFL Top 10 list.
I definitely know the ratings are on that list.
So, that's probably why I wasn't here this first half of the show.
So, they wouldn't be on the Top 32, Sage.
It just sucks for us right now, man.
Real quick, Ripper, we got some new people in here.
Talk to them about what you got going on with blockchain and Z Hold'em.
So, ZK Hold'em is the first fully on-chain Texas Hold'em game, poker, where you can play
100 million users online.
None on-chain until we release the game on Monday.
So, if you're into blockchain, you might be interested in playing some poker on-chain
And thanks for having me, as always.
Not just ZK Hold'em, where I'm chief of communications.
I love sports communications.
That's why Ripper and Tip, we're doing this every Thursday.
Thanks, everyone, for joining us.
Love the questions in the audience.
So, I'm going to tell you guys real quick.
I'm going to a space right after this.
So, all you got to do is look at my face and hit that little purple circle that's on
there, and you'll go to the next space that I'm in with the TSA Sports Affiliation.
I don't want to break your face.
I don't want to break your noses.
Tip, you don't have a punchable face, okay?
I'll see you in a little bit.
