Thank you. Music Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Music Thank you. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, or as we've affectionately started calling our community
node runners. We haven't gone mad, I guess. Not many of you are yet probably running RPC
nodes, but you're probably all waiting for incentivized and APY nodes. So the vision is
that you'll all become node runners in time. Tonight isn't just another AMA. It's a bit of
a turning point for Messiah and for everyone else who's been part of this journey along with us.
If you don't know me, my name is Chris Williams. I am one of the co-founders. I'm sure many of you
have heard my story, but appreciate
the community's growing daily. So I'll just share a bit about myself and my history and my credentials.
Apologies if you've heard this many times before. I know you probably have, many of you, but it is
important for those joining us that have not. So I started my career predominantly in the defense
I was working on bleeding edge tech for the UK government and the defence industry, a lot of which I can't really talk about.
And in 2017, I started investing money in crypto, made some fantastic returns.
My love for sort of Web3 and crypto and my journey really began.
And since then, I've been really fortunate.
I've managed to work for top 100 projects, top 50 projects,
taking them to all time high, as well as a whole host of other startups within this space.
But as many of you probably already know, this is the first project I've ever co-founded.
to be part of this journey. Obviously, we have a lot to share. The next chapter of our mission
is driving mass adoption by making crypto infrastructure accessible to everyone. So
we've been on a crazy journey since inception really. In the past seven months, we've kind of got a lot to reflect on.
So from the early vision of building a truly decentralized ecosystem
to launching our MVP and then proving the tech that works,
then obviously just shy of two weeks ago, we stealth launched our TG.
And now we've been onboarding thousands into our community.
You've obviously seen that we've been forming strategic partnerships with some of the most respected names within this industry.
And it is just the beginning.
We are working around the clock, adding additional partners into our ecosystem.
We have got many more to share over the coming weeks, days, months.
And it's amazing, really, because this isn't just about what we believe in. Companies like
you've already seen, Linear, IoTeX, Aether, the list goes on. PreSearch, Neova, and more.
They all believe in what we're building here and really see the value in that.
So they share our vision, the vision of mass adoption and understand that Messiah is really building the rails here for what's really the next wave of Web3.
So our vision is to sort of bring in the millions and hopefully the billions into crypto.
just about speculation really it's about doing that for infrastructure and ease of entry into
web3 so i am joined with the team tonight i don't want to talk too much because there's a lot to
share i will let some of the the other core team speak and i'll pass the mic over to vume who's
just going to share a bit more on really where we are. Obviously RPC nodes are live and I know everybody's really waiting on
incentivized in APY nodes. We haven't launched with just a white paper and a vision.
Obviously we went live with MVP before even TGN and so I'm going to pass the mic over to Vume
who's going to share a bit more on where we're at.
Thank you, Chris. Can you can you hear me? All right. Just double check.
Yeah, loud and clearly, buddy. Loud and clearly.
Perfect. Perfect. Yeah. Thank you for all jumping on.
For those of you who already don't know, I'm mainly working on the project lead side on the engineering side as well.
But I'll also be working with Chris more engineering side as well um but i'll also be working with chris more fun facing
as well um so yeah i just wanted to give you a bit of an overview i suppose on where we're at with
our node hub v1 release kind of what's coming next um overall we actually kind of gave a two
week deadline just internally after tge for us to release those first apy nodes uh actually very happy to kind of let you guys know
that there has been some seriously solid progress there we definitely did face some tough problems
but the integration is now fully complete the auto scaling is complete as well which essentially
just means as we grow the kind of cost uh of a node is less per amount um and it also allows us to do kind of multi-thread
deployment um and can kind of check out not only one node but you'll be able to kind of check out
with two three ten twenty fifty as many as you kind of want whereas on most traditional you know
nodes as a service providers it is a one-by-one kind of situation and process which can take a lot
of time um so we want to kind of streamline
that as fast as we can um another update as well we've integrated coinbase we are also actively
working on apple pay um and obviously with coinbase as well users will be able to deposit
by their bill credit card at the minute the only payment option is world pay and i know it's quite
a nuisance and it does take quite a while but obviously we are very new so we are kind of working through these things as we go so we'll
drop that as well when we also drop the node hub v1 release um looking at kind of into the latter
parts of this week so very very soon otherwise next week um and it'll be more of a kind of a
progressive rollout we have a couple partners we brought already, which I'm sure you're all aware of.
Those partners do have nodes, and they are different types of nodes,
whether it's, you know, testnet, devnet, or mainnet.
The rewards for those are also different,
but we'll be going through those on a daily progression
and obviously partner by partner.
So, yeah, you can keep your eyes peeled for those.
The only thing at the minute which we're really looking at
is the security layer between the dAP and the load balancer.
But again, that's kind of all part of preparing the pools
and the servers for all the node runners we have.
I look forward to onboarding.
Obviously, with the payment side of things,
that is definitely a strong focus.
But locally, it can confirm Coinbase and debit and credit card are complete.
The only other thing will be
apple pay but again keep your eyes peeled we haven't announced these things yet it's just
kind of a bit of a offer for you guys um just to let you know a couple of side things that will
come out once we do release v1 um so yeah i think in short kind of what's remaining overall is really
just kind of stress testing everything ensuring the security is right we have reached proof of
concept on running these nodes so it is all working um and obviously kind of been able to do the
scalability side and make sure it's bulletproof for the wider release um just to give you all
also a bit of i suppose color on actually what to expect from v1 now as i said before just with the
variety of different nodes from mainnet testnet and devnet um there will also be point earning ones which you will be able to rack up points and then later convert into tg tokens
once that particular protocol you know or project decides to launch a token um for those of you who
have seen the partners already niova is an example of that um and that'll be kind of you know one of
the first ones we'll start to release along with a couple other partners such as pre-search i've
seen you guys have joined um but yeah and then obviously from there we'll move on to the more main net ones
which will be kind of direct yields um and again pre-search is an example of that um so that's kind
of where we're going to be going with this um and again in terms of how many nodes there are we've
got four rpcs at the minute the first one will be a testnet node so that'll be points based such as neova
and then we'll be moving on to kind of releasing at least two nodes per week there out um and
obviously moving into the more incentivized ones which i know a lot of you guys are waiting for
um as a team obviously we do treat these each kind of as a separate container you can imagine
and with every protocol we do on board there will be a different architecture to their
kind of requirements in terms of hardware and also the reward systems are all architected differently
so that's kind of what we spend most of the time on with a bit of r d going through it with the
dev team kind of knuckling through it with the protocol directly and just kind of liaising with
those uh partners um and then once we do reach proof of concept we then do a node sale and we'll continue
to keep selling notes for them as well so a bit of a win-win situation really um overall as well
just kind of once this does get deployed we would really appreciate some feedback we will be
expecting some bugs some issues so we'll be online 24 7 regarding those we're also going to be
launching a bug bounty for everyone um the amount will still
need to be kind of announced internally before we let you guys know but that'll be anything from
kind of going on to node up running some nodes providing some feedback if you do find any issues
we'll happily reward you with that as well um and that'll just keep us going and obviously building
the product as a community is one of our main priorities.
I suppose also as well, just kind of finalize that in terms of the AI side of things, too.
Once we start rolling out these nodes, we will want to then incorporate the MYE agent.
This is going to be another big thing for us, which I'm sure Antoine will probably clarify in a second. But the kind of vision is for us to be able to kind of just go on your phone, whether you're on WhatsApp or Telegram, and simply just deploy me a linear node. And it will happen for
you. And then at the same time, you'll have your rewards. You can imagine the same for kind of
Telegram bots. I can imagine in our community at the minute, if we had this bot going, it'd be
quite amusing seeing hundreds of people running the bot and everyone's deploying their nodes. But
yeah, a lot of good things to come.
So I think that's probably all from me at the minute.
We do have one of our advisors, John, on with us today.
So very happy to welcome him here.
John, I'll let you take away.
Thanks. Can I just check? You can hear me okay?
Yeah, all good, all good. All good all good at a last minute change lap to my laptop
so apologies for that hello community uh my name is john yates you've probably seen a couple of
things that i've been posting ad hoc in in the community and posting online and things so look
who am i i'm john yates i'm a 30-year veteran of startups. My main thing is commercializing emerging technology. So I've worked for the largest company in the world at the time, IBM, and was there when Watson Group came up, the granddaddy of AI. And I've always worked in the next iteration of big tech.
when I was approached by the team to see if I'd be an advisor initially I was quite skeptical and
I say that but only because of my own ignorance and it turns out that ignorance is actually what
we need as a community in order to pursue that much larger opportunity here so as I said you
know I've been in commercializing emerging technology for 30 years. It's a hell of a long time. What I've learned in that time is keeping things as
simple as possible, taking away any friction enables the mass market to adopt, sorry, to
be educated and adopt much, much faster. So my role here really is twofold. So as an advisor, there is a commercial aspect to this, and I'll be helping advise on the wider view of where the organization goes. But predominantly for this next stage, my job is to inform the uninformed and ignorant, to really gain access to that mass market.
really gain access to that mass market.
All the people on this call, I'm sure,
have been living and breathing crypto,
blockchain, tokens, Web3 for years.
But the rest of the world really hasn't.
The rest of the world has absolutely no idea what's going on.
Now, because I do like next generation technology,
I've always kept my hand in and my eye in
to see what's coming next.
And I think the simplification process of enabling
not just, you know, it's been mentioned for, you know, grandmothers and teenagers, see what's coming next and I think the simplification process of enabling not
just you know it's been mentioned for you know grandmothers and teenagers I've
got a benchmark so my dad's 93 he's never gonna he's never gonna understand
it but if I can get you know some older guys to really understand it who have no
interest in the technology itself but interest in the value that technology
brings and the investment opportunity that's going to make them more money. If I can explain it to my teenage boys or anyone
over the age of 12 and they can understand it, then I've really done my job properly. Because
this isn't just about getting as many people to buy tokens as possible like a normal meme coin.
This is about the fundamental underlying technology,
one-clip node deployment and fractional ownership to enable everybody, whoever they are, to be able
to invest in Web3 and the next generation of technology as it evolves. So I'm really, really,
really interested in this. I probably should have said that not only have I worked for IBM, I also invented
a sports drink way back when and got that on the shelves of the supermarket and wrote a couple of
books about that experience. I also try and do something brand new and different every year,
like driving right across the Sahara Desert or climb a mountain or something equally as tiring.
But as I get older, that is actually becoming prohibitively tiring.
But what you get with me is someone with a lot of commercial experience
with some of the biggest names out there
You get someone who's entrepreneurial,
who's written books and does these things,
someone who sold businesses,
and a boatload of energy.
And hopefully that's what I want to bring
is that energy that you guys might not see
who understand crypto and Web3, but the energy and the excitement to everybody else out there
and and if you think about people my age and older you know we may have been lucky enough
to have a career that's given us some money to invest what we want to do is want to tap that
investment opportunity and enable everybody to say okay well, well, with my stocks and my shares, with my ISAs, with some crypto I may have bought or not, I'm going to own some Web3 infrastructure.
Because that's actually quite an easy sell to at least my extended network.
But for people who understand that Google, GCP, Azure, AWS have all made vast amounts of money by selling burn time and cycles on their infrastructure.
And what we're doing is we're offering everybody that opportunity to take part and own their own infrastructure and put their own money to work and participate in Web3.
So I'm looking at like those professional people. I'm looking at investors, investment houses.
I'm looking at curious newcomers who want to know what Web3 is about.
And I want to simplify it as much as possible and enable everyone to get on board in this community.
So my ask to the community is this.
If I'm posting something out there and you think, oh, my God, this guy knows nothing, knows nothing.
nothing knows nothing it won't be the case i do know some things but if if i post something out
there and say look you know we're trying to use this to push out to the rest of the community
you know take a proper look at it take a look at it and think parents grandparents you know the
older generation we want to get on board is this suitable for them is there anything smith is is
there anything that's missed can we make it simpler because as we grow as a community together not only will the
token grow in value but also the size of adoption will increase and that's what our aspiration is to
be is to be the largest provider of one click node infrastructure ownership anyway i've gone on a bit
too long i am here i'm ready to answer questions. I've got 30 years of experience in this space. As I said, IBM, Tableau, a few other bits and pieces. But really, it's been in data, analytics, AI 15, 16 years ago for AI. Think about that. More recently, generative. And I do some consulting in quantum as well, quantum technology.
consulting in quantum as well, quantum technology. So, you know, interact with me. I've got a lot
of information. I've got a good network and I'm looking to you, the community as well, to help me
kind of understand what the best way is to articulate our proposition to that other area
of the potential community we have. So, I'm really excited. No, I really am. I'm really excited. I see
a really big opportunity here.
I'm asking for your help.
Let's work together and make this the most amazing thing we can.
Thanks ever so much, guys.
We're super honoured to have you as part of the team.
Antron, have you got anything you wish to add?
I understand that you're sort of head down, arse up,
and we weren't sure if you were going to make it to this,
but if you've got anything you wish to add,
following on from Vium's sort of updates.
Yeah, thank you, everyone.
I just really want to say thank you, everyone.
Thank you, everybody, for being here.
Just to add a couple of lines of what Vium said, which really is the overall kind of summary of what we're really working hard in the last two weeks.
We are on a stage where our infrastructure, actually I should say state-of-the-art infrastructure, is able to scale.
We're done, I'm doing very, I'm deeply testing the scaling part of the things and I'm very
glad what we achieved and I don't think out there there's something similar in terms of both
infrastructure and experience and this obviously is not something
that is done you know in a night this is really the summary of our big experiences the team does
have um including myself uh just be summary about me about who first time living from me i'm huntren
my background started in leading research centers in Europe and that was one of the
methods where research getting access to the only largest hyperscale distributed system in Europe,
leading research for complex algorithm optimization. And obviously running and optimizing
distributed algorithms across more than 20 000 nodes at the same time
um it's something that is not for you know everybody and um i'm saying they're very in a
private way because um i i really can feel that that experience is helping us building something
that is it's very amazing and i'm pretty sure you will be also the fruits of this and the results
are there and also as we as you said really focus on two things the infrastructure but also on the
experience and that's why when we launch when we will launch the actual also the part of the agent
we can actually start feeling what we mean as experience what we mean
bringing this like this kind of hard part of um start new notes in the hands of everybody that's
really our goal and i'm pretty sure we are and we are confident we're going to do it do it in the
best way possible and uh we're also concluding some other state-of-the-art researches confident we're going to do it do it in the best way possible and we're also concluding
some other state-of-the-art researches that we're doing in the background that they're going to be
the kind of core idea of optimizing um APYs the optimizing rewards from these nodes so this is
really the the two things we're looking at infrastructure, how we can scale in the best way possible in a way that is sustainable over time.
how we can really maximize the experience,
but at the same time, the rewards given from these notes.
And I'm very open to any feedback as we launch.
You're finalizing the last integrations.
And please shout whenever you have ideas,
I'm more than happy to take them on board,
like last time in the community.
As I said, what's your fastest failure methods?
And I'm very happy when I see feedback
and we grow together, we improve this platform together,
because ultimately, to reach masses masses we need to listen the masses
and so you know i'm you guys and more than happy to work hard as much as i can to make this
a reality of things thank you so much and uh yeah that's really what i had to say thank you again
thank you buddy Really appreciate it.
Just to touch on some other things that are starting to be initiated.
Obviously, you may have seen some posts.
What we're now starting to do is sort of a bit of an educational series, should we say.
So effectively, what is a node and why is it important and why running one matters?
If you don't know, and I appreciate I might be teaching you to suck eggs,
some of you, but ultimately a lot of people sort of join crypto projects,
not necessarily do a deep dive and know what they're investing in,
but essentially a node is like any other computer that connects to a blockchain network and it helps store and verify
and broadcast transactions across the system. So it's kind of like, if you
think of it as a mini server that keeps the network alive and trustworthy. So like, obviously,
as you're already probably aware, there's different types of nodes, full nodes that store
entire blockchain and validate transactions, validator nodes that help produce blocks,
like proof of stake chains, and then RPC nodes, which we've
obviously already got live within our ecosystem. So we're kind of focusing on like, why is it
important to be running one? Well, one, you're supporting the network, you know, running a node
actively helps decentralize and secure the blockchain. Two, and possibly quite important
for a lot of you, you're earning rewards, depending on the network. Nodes have different ways you can earn.
Block rewards, transaction fees, incentives from DApps or protocols relying on different nodes,
uptime and reliability. And obviously, you gain independence because running your own nodes means
you don't have to rely on third-party servers. You kind of own your own access. So you're your own future group, shall we say. And
as like Web3 grows and the demand for reliable nodes, especially RPC and validator nodes will
continue to rise, early adopters are the ones that are going to really, I suppose, benefit from the
rewards from those nodes. So we're now going to sort of focus on like ease of entry. So ultimately,
you're not going to require any technical expertise. You just download idea, deploy and
start earning. And it's designed to scale globally. So anywhere and anyone anywhere in the world can
start participating and earning those rewards. So I guess my job and the team's job is to focus on like the marketing element of that and taking it to the masses.
So we're kind of focusing on four different pillars, which is access, you know, making it easy for everyone anywhere to participate in blockchain without any technical expertise.
Availability, ensuring that all our tools and rewards open to all.
or restricted. Familiarity. So we're building with user experience in mind, as these guys say,
you know, the UI, UX is really important. And obviously, we're integrating all sorts of ways
that you can buy the credits to enable you to run those nodes. And then obviously, influence and
quality. So hopefully, you've seen that we're partnering with credible projects
whilst delivering the real value that through infrastructure,
people will learn to trust.
And we're opening up, obviously, to everyone, L1s, L2s,
but obviously we're encouraging more node runners for them.
So it's a bit of a win-win and it's been very well received.
And as you'll see over the coming days, like I say, weeks, we've got more partners to integrate into our ecosystem,
all of which, like I always say, have really bought into what we're building here.
And so we're super excited to, you know, to really to show you guys and those that are yet
to join us what what's being built here because um we we truly believe in the vision and the
mission and uh we you know we're very early we stealth launched we've obviously seen some lovely
growth um from a sort of token perspective but you know we're sitting at a fraction of possibly the
value of where we should be if people understand but ultimately it's our job to to take it to the
masses now so as we always say rest assured you're all massively early and um we appreciate each and
every one of you but uh i guess unless you've got anything else to add we could open up the floor for some questions we can't answer them here
um our treasurer dan is traveling and couldn't make it um but he will be on to answer any
questions after i know there's been some questions around token supply and unlocks and all sorts of
things but you know we are transparent we've been transparent since the start and ultimately obviously I'm very public
I'm on camera in the weekday every day just giving a short update of the last 24 hours
I'll probably give it a mess today because this is the kind of update but
at 10 mil market cap the full team will be exposed
you'll get to learn all about their credentials and see who's really building
here which is a team full of legends.
I'm really honoured to work with all of them.
Yeah, I think that's all good.
I reckon we open up the floor.
So, yeah, if anyone wants to speak, feel free to request.
We won't take any nonsense.
So be respectful to the team. If we
can't answer, we'll answer it offline later. I do have a request here. So I'm going to let
I don't quite know how you pronounce El Al-Aqaral. You're open to speak.
Maybe they've changed their mind or shy stage fright.
If anyone wishes to speak, just raise your hand.
You're welcome to ask any questions.
As I say, if you don't feel comfortable speaking, you're most welcome to put them in our Telegram channel.
If you're not part of that yet, then feel free to join.
We do share daily updates.
I'm kind of on camera giving a brief snippet of the last 24 hours, what's gone before, what's to come.
But I see Martin wants to speak. I'll let him in. Hi, Martin.
I think he's still down as a listener.
Actually, I have a question for Jonathan tonight.
I can imagine, Jonathan, in your professional career, you have seen an awful number of startups that try to pitch to you,
but hey, you saw what was going on
and there was no future in them.
What's actually the thing that you saw in this team
that actually changed your mind
and make you want to become part of this team?
I think John may have jumped off.
Yeah, unfortunately, he didn't have to fail. He should apologize and say think John may have jumped off. Yeah, unfortunately,
I will get him to answer that
Yeah, we'll have him send an essay
feel free to take the floor
We have given you speaker rights Feel free to take the floor.
We have given you speaker rights.
Yeah, I think he's on mute.
Assuming no question, or, you know, like you say, say if you wish just drop it in the chat in telegram after that's where our community is most active although i do appreciate it's
been a little quiet the last few days obviously the markets are down and on chain doesn't move
so quickly as a result of that but um yeah we're always active when we can be between meetings,
So feel free to ping any questions in there.
But yeah, I mean, that's really essentially
what we wanted to cover tonight.
they are building slow time.
I think because we went live with MVP
a couple of weeks post that,
we're now in a position where we can start rolling out the tech.
And as we say, we're going to do it gradually.
We're going to ensure everything is sort of scalable.
And we'd love you guys to become nodes runners with us
and really be the first movers in terms of the Messiah network.
So please, please do join.
There will be some perks for doing that.
We're debating what those are at this moment as a team.
Obviously, we'll keep you posted as we always do.
But yeah, just appreciate everything
If you're an active community member,
sort of screaming from the rooftops
about what's being built here,
supporting everything that we're doing
far and wide and really spreading the word is going a long way. So it's just the beginning.
We're all very early. Obviously, we stealth launched, as I keep saying, but now we're out
of the blocks. We intend to start making a lot more noise. And I guess all I can say is we're
definitely on the radar of some particularly influential projects,
particularly influential exchanges at this point that are watching what we're doing very closely.
And hopefully by the end of this month, there'll be something to share around that as well.
We're not planning to launch on a sex yet. We obviously are very early out of the blocks.
But yeah, there's some definite collaborations that are in talks at the moment, which hopefully we'll be able to share by the end of this month.
So amazingly exciting times. We're working all hours, you know, to the point almost of having no sleep, but we don't care.
We're here to build and we're here to deliver. And that is what we intend to do.
and we're here to deliver and that is what we intend to do.
Stick with us, scream it from the rooftops
and rest assured, we are going to deliver on our promise.
So literally within days,
you're going to start seeing the tech rolled out
and can't wait for you to see that and get your feedback.
And we will be back soon with another update.
