Sonic on Coinbase
This kind of changes things especially considering
the whole conspiracy that has been going on with bees so basically i just want to know man what's
what's next like what's happening i think i think it's a good question. I mean, it's a pretty general question, but the answer is pretty simple. The plan has not changed. No plans have changed. We operate the same that we operate every day. We have the same fundamentals and getting things like this done. I mean, sometimes people say like, what's the team doing? Team is like, where is everyone? Like we're working on deals, you know, like getting Coinbase and getting bait, getting Coinbase and getting other exchanges.
There's more exchange listings coming, getting USDC on those exchanges, getting Aave, getting
all the infrastructure that we have and USDC and other stable coins coming.
Like it's a lot of work.
It takes so much time.
So I know it feels like forever because Phantom was around for years,
but in reality,
like we're achieving all of these things for a chain within the first six
months.
It's pretty good.
It's pretty strong accomplishment for us.
So we just,
the answer to your question is that we're just stay focused on delivering and
doing it the right way and taking our time to make sure that it's executed
properly and taking no shortcuts.

what's the next update for the project?
Like I know you guys said you're doing a lot of partnership and deals and we do
understand that takes a lot of time I'm just curious what's the next thing on
your roadmap that you guys are focusing on man good question man good question
a lot of things most most notable would probably just be uh our airdrop season two
of our airdrop but um thanks for joining um and uh yeah there's a lot of other people raising

So there's a lot of Americans and like a holiday weekend.
So maybe it'll take three.
I'd say maximum it'll take four weeks.
But there's a lot of manual review that goes into it as well.

And then so season two definitively starts on the 18th
when season one ends yeah like one second after okay and when can we plan to have maybe more of
an update on how to play with season two because i know you guys were talking about changing that

I don't like, I wish there was a better way to have a chat on this stupid thing instead

you guys gave to hey a nun for uh building i love that um how
do you guys think that more builders may be able to you know aspire to maybe not get such a fat
chunk right because that was big but like just you know some some more maybe funding support from you
guys yeah i mean that's big but we'll be doing bigger i already like had a conversation with the team like we'll have a bigger um like a larger announcement substantially larger um
next week for another application so um yeah we are we are working to identify projects that are
unique and i think hey anon is an interesting one and i think it piqued our interest mainly because there's a few things a few reasons why first of all danielle is super driven super nice guy um
has put a lot of his own money into the project he did a successful like ico on sonic what went
over really well and the overall performance is great and like being listed on binance alpha and
having interest from binance is amazing um and on top of that, like we haven't really seen like a proper like product market fit
for AI and blockchain, in my personal opinion.
Like AI agents are cool, but I just, I don't know.
I feel like adding an infrastructure layer so that it makes it so that any user can use
this tooling and not only on Sonic.
It can be used on any chain, right?
Like I like that uh so that's
that's that's part of the reason why and then other builders i mean we talk to builders every
single day like we get a lot of criticism in the past like 48 hours that we like don't care about
builders which is like the absolute it's insane but yeah i mean we we communicate with the teams
every single day like we we're online nonstop.
And if someone has a good idea, I will be honest, we do look for like new primitives, not just like forks.
You know, someone comes with like the 500th Aave fork or the 1000th Tomb fork or something or Aum fork.
Like there's a very low likelihood of you being able to receive any type of investment or a grant.

working on new ideas which there are there's like a backlog of applications uh that we're working
with to provide like auditing support and investment and all this stuff so yeah just have
communication with the team just be friendly reach out and if you have ideas we can point you in the

handles like all the inbound and all of like...

But my question was, now Coinbase is kind of in the bag.
Does that also bring with it the opportunities with Coin with like uh coinbase custard uh custodial

i guess yeah it definitely opens the door for institutional uh interest one of the things that
i'll say like why coinbase was priorities is beyond US users actually is that you'll notice that majority of the ETFs, like the listed ETFs, they all use Coinbase custody.
So that's been a priority because if you eventually want to get an ETF, you have to, well, not you have to, but like, I don't know, 80% of the ETFs use Coinbase custody.
So there is like maybe four or five custodians, I think.
There's like, I can look it up,

But anyway, it's a necessary step
if you want to be taken seriously in the

you know crypto treasury thing they're usually like like Canadian and then they get upgraded to like New York Stock Exchange.
There's a route to do that.
So that's why they generally go that route.
