mission is actually to is actually to educate people about nfts and also onboard them into an ecosystem that would actually you know
give them more room to understand what they have learned from the ogs from the people that are
trying to educate them and tell them what they need to know about nfts right so guys uh just just you know just stay with us as we you know
hit on what we have as an agenda for today i know most of you guys will be like um yeah we've not
seen a space like this before but definitely this is the first one big shout out to reader again

i won't lie so uh when before we go into the sensitization and all of that so we believe i
believe nfts have been doing a lot this period there are a lot of persons that has been like um you know enjoying that has joined
the community and have like um understood one or two things concerning when we're talking about
nfts right you know being a non-fungible token and the rest like that so but before i deep that um
dive deep into this whole conversation i would want to introduce you guys us the community
know right art art is the founder of froglins uh reader is the founder of uh jesus name so but i
will go to at art i want you to just like you know briefly talk to the community or talk to everybody that is here live on this stage
about nfts and what you think is the beautiful thing about nfts and why you've been you know in
this particular niche for the longest of time not just as a niche but also building something solid
on ipchen and uh right now I feel like, okay,
you can start this conversation
because a whole lot of person have known art,
have seen art, and we understand that you understand
what you're building and all of that.
So let's have you ask just, you know, few words
or maybe many words as you can,
just tell us more about NFs and why some of us need
to be bullish and stay connected with um nfts projects like basically on ape chain being the
number one because it is well backed by yuga lab and also body uh yacht club which is the number
one nfts in the crypto world and the whole world world i would say
so uh art let's have you yeah how you guys doing um name is art i came into uh nfts in 2020 2021
um actually when i came in um the the biggest platform at that time was Nifty Gateway.
Was it Nifty? Yeah, it was Nifty Gateway.
It was basically only selling art.
So I got interested in art, NFTs,
and it was just because I had a lot of like-minded individuals
making art that I could relate to.
So I was saying like Spaceman, like in abstract form and stuff like that.
So I got my interest and I started buying stuff like that.
If you guys know who Jose Delbo is, he made a collection called Heroes Playing Card.
That was like something lovely that I grabbed.
But I started just good deep diving into the NFT world and I found out about PFPs.
And I found out about PFPs.
And for me, PFPs were kind of like you joining a family,
joining a community where everyone looks out for one another.
So I went through different communities, the D-guards,
and different ones where I connected with a whole bunch of different people,
networked with a bunch of different people.
And it just kind of gave me a family on um what they call on web 3 right um through that
i was able to get because because i i was part of strong communities i was able to get airdrops from
different um other communities different tokens just because they they saw that your community
was strong and uh it was vibrant on the timeline um since then i've just kind of been stuck on on on nfts i know nfts are just are more than pfp and
art um they could they could be way more than that right there's other things that you could
do with nfts that's just beyond art a lot of people use them in games like mm walk down there
foxy fam um so yeah that's kind of like i i just got addicted to nfts just because of their
networking the amount of people i met and and the good things that you could do with them.
And for the Froglins, they were kind of just to onboard.
They were kind of like the identity to onboard Africans onto a very good blockchain.
Because when I first started in Web3, I saw a bunch of Africans in the space.
Actually, the guy that brought me into Web3 was African as well.
So it was just kind of like, it was a good thing to see Africans in this space
because we come from a country where corruption is horrible.
There's really no way for people to make it, right?
It's not an easy track for someone to just say,
I'm going to university, I'm going to make money.
No, some people even spend 10 years in university
because of stupid strikes and stuff like that.
So a lot of us, we find Web3 as an outlet to actually make it.
And I saw a lot of our people being farmed on the timeline
by the same people not being onboarded the right way and things like that.
So me and Darkman came together and we're like,
oh, what could we do to just onboard people the right way,
teach them the basic of Web3 and stuff
that they need to know when they come in
instead of the general thing that everybody hears,
oh, you need to come here, you need to get a job.
You can't get a job
right away without no experience even in real life right so it's it's just different things like that
that uh we just started onboarding people through the froglands nft on ape chain because obviously
ape chain is the best chain according to us i like that every blockchain folk focuses on one thing
and ape chain is focusing on culture which is really important to NFTs.
I mean, that's the only reason we've been here.
We've been here because of culture and ApeChain is trying to preserve that moving forward.
So when people say ApeChain is the home of NFTs, even though it is, I always try to counter
back and say ApeChain is the home of culture because that's what ApeChain is going to be
known for.
But yeah, we've just been onboarding a lot of people
from Africa onto Ape Chain through the identity as Froglands,
and we've been real successful at it.
A lot of people have been able to just kind of vibe with us.
We've built a family around ourselves.
No one is a leader.
Everyone's just friends, family here.
We look out for one another. We support one another. I mean, DJ Ned right there, he's a great, great person. You guys should follow him. Great, great person to be in contact with Ape Chain. He's always dropping Alpha, always there for the entertainment, the vibes, Founders Right Hand, Quinn, a bunch of people who's big. a bunch of people have just like, what they say,
just come together and just built a huge family.
And it's just lovely to see.
So for me, NFTs, like PFPs, to me,
they're just for building family.
And you also have projects like,
I know he's going to speak soon,
but like Redars Project, G's on Ape,
just giving everybody 3d experiences here we all know
like in the future our ip um it we're gonna have to use our ip if you haven't if you guys haven't
seen what boy dave gazette is doing with his ape speaking every time when he when he releases news
it's going to be deeper than that we're going to be able to use our avatars to do short movies um
to do news to do different things that we could do.
And Rita is giving us the possibilities to do what he's building with his project.
So, I mean, NFTs are deep.
And for me, the one thing that I like about it is just the family.
Everyone has their own vibe and what they want from it.
But for me, it's just the family and having someone to um someone that looks out for
you online and uh those kind of things moving forward but yeah that's my take on nfts pfps and
uh and so on

so much art uh i really appreciate that uh yes definitely i believe you have literally given us
the like a road map on how you've you know your your journey with nfts and all of that which is
really interesting i think when i met art and uh art was like i was still new to the to the whole web 3 team and art was really really
you know putting me through on what nfts were like because the mentality i using coming into
web 3 was definitely or practically crypto trading coins and all of that but when i got when i deep dived into nfts i saw a different dimension and
it was a beautiful one for me so yes since then till now i've been this nft guy that
most people know from my demograph which is the african demograph so right now uh like you know
reader being the founder of gson ape as one of the biggest projects on apetine right now, like, you know, Reader being the founder of GZoneApe as one of the biggest projects on Ape Chain right now.
And we really give Reader because there's no leader like Reader.
So what they talk about him, this is the one guy that first accepted Darkman into the space, you know, did a whole lot of thing for Darkman.
And he's still doing it up
till today so i would want to hear from reader like what is that one thing like you know having
g's on ap on a chain what is that one thing that motivated you so so very much that you you know
talking about the nft part is wanting uh generally so talking about you building g's on ipchen is
another thing directly so i would want to know you talking to me and to the whole community
what is that one thing that motivated you in building a 3d art on on on ipchen so i want to hear that story today um let's hope this doesn't get rugged again uh it seemed to last a very long time while
i was talking for 45 minutes and took up all the time but um no no it's community man um
and i'd like to bring to g the g's communities and the gES holders what the Board API Club brought to me and my friends
and everybody that I've met throughout my time in the club.
Hopefully one day we'll be at that level,
but we wanted a better, an entry point for other people
that wanted to join the culture and wanted to join the swamp

just like we know the fungible tokens like the usdt bitcoin btc it and all of them here
BTC, EIT, and all of them, yeah.
They are mostly used for transactions and all that.
But then the main ownership boils down to NFTs,
owning an artwork, owning whatever it is on chain.
And when it goes beyond JPEGs, just like I mentioned,

it can be used for event ticketing, yeah.
It can be used for event ticketing.

It's can be used to set up some kind of oneness,
togetherness, community.
Like when I came here at first,

I see people rocking NFTs.

or probably season access to games, events,
and probably insider events and all that.
So NFTs go beyond the pictures.
It's all about the culture.

If you realize the concept of building with NFTs on Ape Chain,
it's kind of different because I think what even discouraged people
from NFTs in the first place was, would I say, Kabal, right?
So I would not say these don't exist.
They exist everywhere and they're supposed to.
But, you know, the Kabal being manipulative the essence of community i'm actually seeing the
because i'm not seeing many influencer-esque type people you you know, hanging around. I'm seeing people who actually care.
Just people who are just building and just want to focus and double down with
their convictions and just give whatever they have to support the course and
probably make a life of it.
So that's what I'm experiencing.
And so far, I think it's been amazing.
And, you know, I'm actually talking about this because I don't know how the
bylisting distributions are, you know, because I don't know how the white listing distributions are,
you know, because I see that a lot of the community members are just,
hey, normal guys like us, you know, just happy people who are just on the timeline,
who show up every day and, you know, give you value.

there lying down my wallet and since then i've been getting drops like season drops from these
collections i don't know the value and because back then we get a lot of nfts drops and sometimes
we try to interact and we get drained i think because i don't have like proper knowledge about
these collections i've not really done a deep dive i may not know the value or if they're actually real so i think security if you guys can like
touch up on security that would be really bullish for me in my opinion because i see a lot of new
bies here and again um finally there's a project that was talked about on ape chain i'm not exactly
sure what it is but i heard it's a GambleFi protocol, and everybody knows I love GambleFi. So I would love to, if anybody has a TRDR, maybe
a thread, anything whatsoever that would give me more info about it, I'm happy to explore
it. So yeah, shout out to people who set up this space. I'd love to just listen and learn
