a little bit about the cute puffins what is the story of the cute puffins, cute puffins?
Okay, so it's very interesting, the story itself.
So I entered really early into buying cute puffins.
And at the beginning, it's just a collection, like pixel art, uh was a few people like known people from
itch and were starting to buy and the community started growing and it came out of nowhere to be
honest and we didn't know any founders usually you know you get the founders to talk into in spaces
like now with albatross you know you give that vibe that you're there for the
community that you're building and everything.
But this was out of nowhere.
Just the art was cool.
The community was creating itself and that's it.
So the community started growing, we made a GC on X and there was a lot of hype around it.

There were big sales
and a few days after the community started getting a bit of light,
getting known,
we see a post on X made by a guy named Phil
saying this is my art.
This is a project that I created created on eath uh four years ago so
all that hype that was there in the group chat everybody was very excited about all this we all
started to panic because we like it was a rug yeah so uh we thought it was going to zero, we didn't know what was happening. And then it was Millie, that is the founder now as well, that talked with, and I think it was Phil and Seath Lord as well from Fiends.
He's a big holder as well from the collection.
And they talked with Phil, they saw what they could do because the community was there and it was very nice,
a very cool community and they talked with him and he was okay to get in the team and for his art to move to Apechain.
So he became a CTO and at some point later, like all the, you know, it's like roller coaster.
Everybody's excited.
Then we see it's a rug.
Then the artist gets onboarded.
So the excitement goes back up.
You know, it's like a lot of emotions.
And a few days after they migrated the contract because the the guy that that had the contract
before was a scammer indeed so uh they migrated the contract and now we have our own contract
our vault everything uh there's a bit of drama all the time of course there was a bit of drama
between the the two people from the community that stepped up, one of them being Crypto
Mealy, the founder now, he's the one that manages the account and Discord and everything.
And now the drama passed, the vibes went a bit down, but the community is still there.
And now the team, we are CryptoMilli, Smudgy, that is from Fins as well, and myself.
And CryptoMilli would be the founder.
Smudgy is all the backend in the Discord.
all the back end in the discord she created the whole discord amazing and i always offered

help if they needed and crypto million told me like if i want i can join the team and i'm the
mod on discord and i have access to the main account to some posts uh like try to get a allow list for upcoming mints. Krito Mille does the same and that's where we are now.
And we all have been rather busy lately, but like I just moved apartments,
Smudge finished studying and Mille has like a lot of work in general. He works a lot.

uh very cool things like something that is already on the works is just like
Freelane Fiends they have multiple types of art we're gonna do the same just like you can see the
normalist pixel art and you can see the the PFP of the cute puffins that's gonna be the second
type of art more realistic not less pixel so we're working on that because you need to do all the trades for all the
buffins and all that.
Same, the guy that tried to scam, but at the end he failed.
So that's a W for all holders and Apechain in general.

And I appreciate a lot our community for being so patient and being so nice
and understanding that things are going to happen.

it needs to go through him first
and he needs to give the okay.
But everything was very smooth and everything worked out fine.
And to answer the other part, I think, to be honest, we were just lucky.
And I think it's just the people, like the buyers, like the community we managed to build at that time, that built itself, yeah?
They just trusted the process and I guess some of them left, of course,
but most of them stayed and they're still here.

behind it have still been active they've been active every single fucking day um about three or four months ago, um, they had a spotlight given to them by, uh, the

uh where we built we actually built on ethereum a project called rug dolls uh and we've been we've
we've been been operating that for about well we've been offering we're still operating it now um but we
decided to go into eight chain with uh deruzu and we've launched in march um minted out in about a
week and we've just launched dolls world now what dolls world is is a central hub for rug dolls
holders and deruzu holders now if you're wondering why we call it deruzu deruzu is actually translated
to dolls in japanese we wanted to keep the dolls theme yeah so as if you have a look at the art
the um the characters have actually got like uh patches on them you probably wonder why they got
patches well we're actually doing a narrative of where the rug dolls and the deruzu together
and they're we're going to merge them together like companions so when a rug dolls and the deruzu together and we're going to merge them together like companions
so when a rug dolls touches a deruzu they'll get the special powers and blah blah blah
a bit quite anime anime themed now dolls world has got quite a lot of utility at the minute so
um try to think how to put this because we've actually we've actually got quite a lot of
utility that we brought over from rug dolls over to deruzu so we brought a staking platform from
rug dolls over to ape chain so you can actually stake your deruzu right now and you can earn
rugs now it's funny it's called rugs because it comes from rug dolls so you can stake your
rug dolls and you can stake your deruzu but we've also got like a bonus feature where you can
actually stake all your rugged nfts and that
includes ethereum and ape chain nfts so we did that because the whole mission for rug dolls was
basically basically to help people who have been rugged give them a utility back to their rugged
nfts so we built a staking platform which is soft staking and like i say basically you connect your
wallet it'll detect you'll it'll run a script check everyone's wallets against our database which we've got 2100 projects on there at the
minute we've got 145 000 nft states with us right now earning rugs and then you can go into doles
world now and then you can spend them rugs direct so you claim your rugs off the uh off the platform come over to dolls world website and
then you can spend them on raffles shops and uh and we've also got quite a few other features so
the features of dolls world that we've got with deruzu is um first one is you can do you can
create your own lore for each character so you have your own user profile you click on there
uh you go into the lore section, you can create it.

and then you choose your NFT and you can do that.

collection the collect so the when I was younger i always loved to collect
pokemon pogs uh tamagotchis all that sort of stuff so i wanted to bring the magic back to collecting
and dolls world i think we've hopefully done that touch wood so we've done the law the law section
uh another good section in there we've actually excuse me we've got a badge section now i'm quite
pleased with this because it took me ages to map it all out and work with the devs to get it working
so basically what we've got is um i don't know if anyone's used a zoo key before but what nfts you
hold uh the trait different traits relate to different achievements so every time you collect
an nft it'll unlock
different achievements which then will unlock a badge so some badges a little bit different like
we've got five uh four collections on it so far uh possibly five actually excuse me i'm losing
my voice already i know it's 10 10 11 o'clock at night and i'm already losing my voice
but we've got um we've got five collections
and that will also include the game nft collection which we've got on rug dolls which we're actually
launching on ape chain but i won't talk about rug dolls because it's all about deruzu tonight
and um the bad system really you know once we released it to our community they've really
enjoyed trading with each other finding the different you know if they've got swapsies for like different traits like oh i've got two of these can i swap you for
one of these and it's been going mental in the discord like people swap in and you know it's
been really really nice for me to watch that because that's what i wanted to achieve with
deruzu to get people swapping traits finding the nfts and completing their badges
uh so we've got that section like you say that's got the bug dolls the rug dolls social the book does 3d the ruzu collection the
game nft collection and we've also got special badges which you can also complete which we're
going to sort of save and reserve so you know like one of them is i've created is basically like a
rug dolls and deruzu meetup in Lisbon next year.

We've got an overlay section like an overlay background which we want to encourage creators to come over and create
overlays a little bit like board closet and what will happen is you'll create it upload it to our
site and then you can actually put it on a marketplace where other community members can
then buy the overlays with their rugs which have been staking for
rugged nfts and deruzu and they can go on there buy it and show them off and the rugs will then
go to the next the person who's created it so it's a little bit of a you know community thing
that we've done where they can and also push the creativity on it i think it'll be quite cool like
seeing what people uh upload you know like gm cups and
laser eyes and things like that but like i say that's just i'm sure it'll get a lot more creative
than that uh and then i'm gonna drop i'm gonna actually gonna drop a little bit of alpha for
you rick uh on you just because you know because you've let me up here we're actually also
developing a if anyone play digimon before we're actually developing a Digimon game,
which is going to be built.
We're building a Digimon slash Tamagotchi game,
which is going to be integrated into the website.
And what will happen is basically you'll get your,
you'll get eggs.
You'll start off with your eggs and you'll basically sort of breed it and
you'll use rugs to then sort
of feed it feed the feed the uh the tamagotchi and then you'll be able to battle them with other
players and then loads of other stuff and we can do a lot of collaborations where you'll be able to
get other projects and use their items like they're something that they choose and we can you can kit
out the pets home so like uncle mack you
might have like a pickaxe on there or you know uh mutinate sorry mutant shiva club you might have
you know like a mutant dog plushie or something so we're gonna have loads of different cool things on
built into that uh which is kind of this phase three part of the website like i said the phase
one was the badges and the law phase two was the uh the overlay section and some of the website like i said the phase one was the badges and the law phase two was the
uh the overlay section and some other upgrades we're having and then phase three is the uh
the uh sorry the uh digimon sort of style game and i think it'd be really cool because like i
say it's bringing bringing it back to the 90s where we're collecting pokemon cards playing
digimon tamagotchi and it's all mobile compatible as well so you can do it on the go
you can and by the way the Digimon Tamagotchi when you get your egg it's actually based on the
rug dolls and the rug trolls so if you don't look after your egg very well you're going to get a
rug troll popping out of it and then if you do look after it very well you'll get a rug doll
and then like say you've got three stages of evolution you'll train it and that brings me
back to the
badge system so how we're going to incorporate it is when you when you're collecting these badges
uh when you get the badges actually have points attached to them and that puts you onto a leader
board and as you're gaining these badges you're accruing these points which are putting you up
the leaderboard and you also unlock titles uh funny enough the titles are inspired by a game
i used to play in
the 90s as well like uh people talk about me god walking amongst mortals loads of different funny
titles and you unlock them and then titles will then relate to bonuses to your pet in the game
so like i say the more you collect the the the nfts the more uh badges you'll get and traits
and then like you say then, then you'll put this,
use them titles to then kind of upgrade your pets and attack and defense and whatever.
And then I say we'll have a leaderboard there.
We'll have two leaderboards
where it's how long you can keep your pet alive.
And the second one will be
how many victories you have with that.
But like I say, go back to the Duruzu collection.
There's actually about,
I think there's 500 traits on there.
There's some really super rare ones.
You know, we made a variety.
So when you're badge collecting,
you know, it makes them,
some are difficult.
It's quite,
people have commented in the community
that it's quite easy,
but also some are quite difficult to get.
And that's how I wanted it.
I want it to be hard to get
i don't want to be easy for people just to come in wailing buy every nft and be like oh complete
the badges see you later some of them are quite um complex i'm quite a quite an ocd person i
actually wrote a git book on the badges of how to collect them the other day so order which took me
all day but you know it's it's really fun so really cool collection the like you say
the deruzu nfts you can stake the ones that you're getting off rick as giveaways get them
staked it'll also you'll probably be quite surprised because if you have any rugs on our
database it'll also pick them up so you'll have a bonus bonus rugs you know accruing on that if you
do have any other rugged or failed projects do come into our discord and
add them that's how we've built our database basically asking community members to come in
and drop them you know drop them to us we'll vet them first make sure the twitter account's active
if it's not if the floor price is that you know if there's open seal magic eden hasn't had any
activity we'll add them on there and the next person who comes in will then also get them as well so we're that's pretty much the ruso traffic if there's anything else with there
i won't tell you about rug dolls because like you say it's the ruzu i i have i have one question bro
like first of all if i can respect to you guys for building and having multiple layers to your projects i think that that's so important because
when when a project is very flat and i think that you know uncle max said it well you know why can't
you have a bunch of different products you know on on the blockchain you know it's when it's not
extractive and when there's actually a use for it it's not extracting it's like would you get upset if like a store starts as supplying
different brands you know instead of just one brand or if a brand starts branching out and
instead of just making trainers they start making jackets you know it you're not going to then all
of a sudden go oh my god you're forgetting about the shoes the shoes are the most important thing
you know you're building out like an empire and i I love that about it. But the question I have to you,
and I hope I'm not putting you on the spot with this question, because it is quite a tough one.
And some people have answers for it. Some people don't. And that's okay either way. But I just
like to ask this question because it helps me. And I think it helps the audience and it helps me and I think it helps the audience and it helps everyone when when founders
can answer this question how do you plan to onboard web 2 like where where do you think the
catch is here for web 2 because I think ultimately that's what we all wanting you know that that's
that's like the biggest goal for for almost any project
is you know if you can start onboarding web 2 into your project you've got loyal holders that
will hold forever and um you know especially if it's their first nft experience so just wanted
to ask like what is do you guys have a plan for that and and what is it i'm glad i'm actually
glad you asked that rick uh because with rugdolls
that was one of our biggest goals to actually bridge sort of web 2 into into web 3 so the first
thing we did with uh rugdolls was we actually we've actually got our own e-commerce uh merchandise
site as well called the book labs store on shop, which is actually packed full of merchandise.
And what we did with that,
that was probably in 2022 when we first started that,
is every order that you get,
Web2 or Web3,
you actually get an email sent,
which basically gives you a link
to how to create a MetaMask wallet.
So if a Web2 person come and found our site by accident,
they buy a bit of merchandise and then they'll get this email and then they'll tell them how to do a web2 person come and found our site by accident they buy a bit of merchandise and then
they'll get this email uh and then it'll tell them how to do web2 uh create a metamask wallet
and then it would also uh would also send them a social rug doll as nft for their first nft
so we tried that in 2022 uh i think we onboarded about two or three people. So it wasn't massive, but our store wasn't massive at the time.
And then the second way is we actually built the game that we've got,
Rugdolls World.
We've actually partnered with Hyperplay,
and we've just become members of Blockchain Gaming Alliance
with Rugdolls World.
We met them in Lisbon,
and we actually managed to form a good collaboration.
Phil knows them quite well from Ovie
because they're also members of BGA.
And what we did, we built the game to be a Web 2.5 game,
not a full Web 3.
So Rugdolls World is actually playable now.
It's not a trust me, bro, we've got a game in the works.
You can actually go on to Hyperplay right now and actually download the game and actually play it
now how what i mean about it's a it's a web 2.5 game is you can log in with your metamask wallet
and it detects the the nfts that you've got and then you can use the nfts in the game but also
if you're not web 2 if you're not a web 3 player and you're web 2 player you can actually play with email and password and just log in and then there's a marketplace on there
which you can uh you know play and get tokens and try and buy extra assets but like i said the
web 3 side of it you actually get items and nft assets that um that you can't get as a web 2 player
you actually get the better items as a web 3 players
but web 2 and web 3 so we're going to try and onboard web 2 players uh through that way like
you say we've like i said we just partnered with hyperplay about a year ago so it's hyperplay is
like um it's a games platform basically where it's like it's set up like steam you can go on there
uh they've partnered with quite a few big people but you can download the multiple games from there you can choose a game uh primarily web3 games and
you can download it from there and we went with hyperplay because it was safe for people to
download they vet the games and people feel a bit more comfortable downloading a web3 game
um with deruso we haven't really uh thought of a way to on board yet web uh two people uh
web two people web two normies but i am looking at i want i was looking at the uh opportunity of
adding glyph to the website however because our website is built for ethereum and ape chain um because it's built for both i don't think you can have
ethereum nfts on a glyph wallet so i've got i'll have to sort of speak with the developer to see
with that and then if we get glyph involved into the dolls world website i think we should have a
chance at bringing people in um but like i say the dolls world website is also created to bring
uh holders not holders members from ethereum over to weight chain because like say you've got because
you've got rug dolls on dolls world as well you've got dolls will you know people from ethereum uh
coming over collecting rug dolls badges and then they're seeing the deruzu badges and thinking oh
what how do we get them and then they'll be going to the ape chain side and then they'll be seeing
other people's projects and hopefully sweeping them and coming over so it's kind of like a double
a double uh hopefully a double-ended sword does that answer your question rick
yeah bro perfectly perfectly you guys have a full plan and fucking bro respect to you that's you
know that's all we want to hear that's all we're only here onboarding the masses i think that we
all need to kind of have some sort of plan to uh onboard you know people outside of web three
because at the end of the day if you just you know it's just cycling liquidity at the end of the day we're just cycling like from liquidity
for one project you see it happen like a new hype mint comes and then people start uh wiping like
the the nft so that they can get enough money to mint this next nft and then they use that money
for the next nft and like that's not sustainable bro so i think that we all need to uh kind of start like looking
at ways of onboarding we we we're doing the pet brand which is going to be web tube like based
uh but then also something that i'm working on at the moment and this is hot alpha guys haven't
really spoken too much about this is i want to we're going to be launching a merch line but it's
not going to be mutants chiba club that isn't our merch line we've got it we've got a name already for the merch line
uh and i'll tell you because i've already got all the registration and it's my totic
my totic which is like part of it's a scientific thing you can go look it up but it's part of
our law so we're going to be doing the mytotic it will use the
the msc paw print but that will be a way of getting people used to that brand but it's
basically mytotic by msc so we're going to be doing a whole the pet brand's name by msc
and forming all these different micro companies underneath msc so we can start um creating msi multiple
sources of income because i think that as a project you need that my my biggest fear i think as
as a leader of a project is crypto's volatility you know anything can happen we've seen black swan
days like ftx collapse and all of that. And then what do you do?
As a founder, especially if you're holding treasury in crypto, you have to keep the lights
on for a while.

So they've got their things there.
Then they can see their other things.
So probably the fastest way is find one of the sites that already has it.
And obviously feel free to use the Goblin.
You don't have to do any pro-goop nonsense,
but you can get them a wallet real quick and start sending them stuff,
which they can then see on Magic Eden.
But the other one is the ApeCoin official one one if you want to be like super safe and official uh don't just trust me because
i'm a dude with some uh bloody blobs um but they're doing the the ape coin a chain alpine
thing as well so if you if even if they don't really like f1 they can just make a glyph wallet
on there and then you can onboard them into your thing. So you can send them a Daruzu.
You can send them a, well, maybe not send them a G's, but you can send them a cute puffin.
You could send them a piece of gold and then explain how the mining worked.
You could send them anything, essentially.
And they can see it straight away on Magic Eden, and they can sell it straight away on Magic Eden.
Obviously, we don't want them selling stuff.

So they handle all the smart shit,
and the consumer just logs in with their Gmail,
and they don't have to create a user account or anything.
I spoke to Rugged Dev about this today, and I said,
well, why can't we just use a username and password?
Because people forget them nowadays.
Nobody uses username and passwords anymore.
They log in with their socials, with Gmail, with Twitter,
with things like that.
So yeah, you just go to one of the sites that has Glyph on it.
I know the Goblin does, obviously, because we made it.
But the ApeCoin Alpine one as well is probably the most official source of Glyph.
And you can get them to just log
in with the gmail send them your their address which is what I've been doing and I use Pokemon
Go terms as well lots of my customers play Pokemon Go and I say you know like your trainer ID
exactly the same thing this is a wallet address so if I want to send you some stuff I need that
wallet address send it to me and and you know within a minute or so i've sent them uh i've sent them to proto goobs and then i've told them you know the process of how
they're going to reveal them and then and now they're waiting for some they're waiting for
some coal mining so like that's the thing and that's what we're trying to build as well so
it sounds like you're trying to build the same thing so if you can integrate Glyth, do it. I know that it's not the perfect tool.

but do an irl web airdrop where people can go and scan so the sticker would say free thc with with a qr code
they'd go and scan the qr code and that would then take them to a website where they would claim
free thc and that free thc would be the the token obviously but by doing that the hardest thing for me when i was planning all of
this was the wallet situation like how do you get someone to then go download a phantom wallet
a metamask it's too much too much friction but here it could be literally gmail privy wallet
claim your thc token you see it in the wallet with a usd value do you want to swap
it to usd go ahead sell it you know flip it no problem we need volume but an irl airdrop with
with free thc and that's my plan i am going to execute on that but it's just this is the type
of thing i feel we need to be thinking about to onboard the masses like i know
that we the weed community is a massive all over the world and it's one of the fastest growing
industries in the entire world and so when you pair that with web3 and the community aspect of
it it's perfect it's a perfect storm but no one's been able to kind of um catch that lightning in a bottle and i think that
there's lots of ways to do this that's just one example of how you could just get a normie off
the street to kind of boom be onboarded into crypto they see something they identify with it
boom they scan it there's there's a lot of ways of doing this but i think that we need to get out
there in the real world and just start showing people that there is value
to holding these projects,
whether it be through income, community,
whatever it might be.

your tokens will be airdropped to you within 24 hours.

that there's no funny business or anything. And then you just do like a mass airdrop once a day you basically just go verify that there's no funny business or
