We back again, baby.
Well, Shiba Saturday on a Sunday, but we're still calling it shiba saturday this week
hope everyone is well what a week what a week another week in crypto markets been chopping
all over the place bitcoin sitting at around 89 90k some crazy dips some crazy bounces that's
this past week um a bit a few people uh moving off uh crypto as well with ar stock concerns it's just
been a bit of a messy week but um at the end of the day look we're still holding strong there's
been a lot of controversy this week with uh dokuan's sentencing a couple of other stuff
that's happened on on chain that's pretty exciting with solana um and pretty
much uh that's it you know not a lot of nft volume you know we've got to be honest uh nfts have kind
of taken a hit but guys in saying that the shiba floor is rising you know we happy to see that slow
and steady rise it's all good with us i think we up 50 or 40 on the day not too sure
something like that um but yeah we we still building we still carrying on uh i saw some of
the shibas uh taking part in the other side this afternoon um in the discord that was mac i saw mac
there i saw um dyslexic and crypto bullies running around very nice to see i can't
wait for us to be up in there as well going to be very very very dope to see the shibas running
around as you know jack's in the in in the process of getting deployed we had to make him a little
bit smaller just to fix with fit in with the other side specs, but all good.
We're getting it there.
And as soon as the size has been lowered
and we're ready for that,
we've put in our application for the other side
and that hopefully will get approved quite quickly.
And then you guys will be able to use Jaxx on the other side.
That's just the start of, right?

But yeah, this week was crazy doquan got sentenced uh you know you guys have i'm sure if you've been in crypto for for a while you know who doquan is uh but anyway the co-founder of terror
um terraform labs which is uh luna which is luna so that you know terra Terra Luna collapsed in 2022,
and there was some fraud related to around $40 billion.
And yeah, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison this year,
so that's pretty big news.
And good to see in crypto, you know, a bit of accountability
and some regular,
some regulatory scrutiny.
It's good to see.
And then also on Solana this week,
I don't know if you guys saw,
there was a bit of an upgrade.
Firedancer is basically a high performance validator that's been deployed on
by jump on Solana and it's
producing over 50 000 blocks um and over the it's been doing this for over the last hundred days and
so we've seen a salt take a nice little bump off this uh off this news mind you it has back down
again obviously because um of it just the whole the whole of
crypto kind of taking a dip this weekend uh but still good to see um them scaling out like this
you know very very exciting this week also youtube stablecoin payouts they announced
so youtube's expanded their mainstream crypto access by allowing US, not international, but US creators to receive earnings in PayPal's PYUSD stablecoin.
So that means that PayPal will handle the conversion, keeping it simple, like pretty
much.
And then also that that will just make payouts a lot faster and not have those big kind of fees attached to them.
So that's good to see.
Good to see that a massive company like YouTube is starting to pay out in crypto, in stable
coins.
And PYUSD's market cap has grown to nearly 4 billion.
And this could obviously onboard, you know, as you guys can imagine, millions and millions of people without them even realizing it
because they're getting their PYUSD, converting it to USD in the app
and busy cashing out them not even realizing that it's crypto
because they will be using a Privy wallet, I'm sure.
Also, some big news from Coinbase.
Coinbase is prepping some major expansions this week
and pretty much what people are saying is that they're going to be launching a predictions
market much like um like uh what do you call it kalshi um and polymarket so that's exciting to see
they're going to be announcing this big thing at the December 17th event,
so in three days' time.
And so they want to position themselves as an everything exchange,
bridging TradFi assets and even betting in crypto.
So you're going to be able to bet on Coinbase soon.
How crazy is that on a lot of sports events and different news?
You know, it's like Polymarket.
You can bet on anything pretty much.
So exciting to see that.
And, you know, it's just another reason why this mainstream onboarding
is happening right in front of us and we don't even really notice it.
Kalana, I don't know if you guys know Kalana.
It's like a, pretty much everyone knows what Kalana is.
But they, at the moment, have just partnered with Privy to explore building a crypto wallet into their app as well.
So that's Kalana we've spoken about.
That's YouTube doing payouts in crypto now.

entertainment sector kind of betting on crypto at the moment which is crazy it's crazy to see this
all of these different companies i mean how long is it until amazon implements their own coin i
i don't think it's going to be too long uh at all so uh very exciting to see all of this happening and just means that crypto
continues to surge on jp morgan also arranged galaxy digital's first us commercial paper
insurance issuance on solana settled in usdc and bought by coinbase and franklin templeton
um so more exciting stuff there you know just just expanding uh
cryptos network and the amount of people using crypto even in cases like getting paid out
by youtube in crypto in through paypal and then not even realizing um they're using crypto because
it's just i mean it doesn't really matter they don't need to set up a wallet or anything
this all comes through privy wallet
so we're seeing all of these expansions guys we're seeing things like the other side we're seeing
things like um these mainstream adoptions and it's all pointing towards you know a bullish future
for crypto uh even with nfts you know we've seen a lot of innovation going down uh we will be
speaking to someone very shortly if
he's got a minute i want him to just tell you guys a little bit what he's done um on on with his
project and that's mr crypto bullies because he's always innovating he's done some stuff that that
is a first on a chain um himself and he's implemented that through his collection and
man i was blown away by some of the stuff
that I've seen implemented there,
like literally doing trade changes
and it happening live on the chain.
And within minutes, your avatar has changed on the other side,
much like you would in a video game.

you've been building because you know at the end of the day as as many people know, you're a very close friend to MSC and a friend.
You're part of MSC's furniture.
So, you know, anything that you make, any strides you're making in any sort of way will benefit us in the long run.
So, you know, and I hope that the Shibas just continue to show support.

us do own uh pixel pals uh what i'll be doing tonight is i'll be giving away a pixel pal as

bit about what they're doing um in terms of of of the the creative studio uh they're migrating over
to a new contract and all the exciting stuff because you can actually earn a little bit of

but you know we have more people accumulate uh uh shibas over time uh excuse the background
noise i'm like walking to target right now in the snow uh
so just a heads up all right so um you know we got some cool things cooking as well uh for the shibas and i think
you know there are some things being ironed out uh and then you guys will get to reap the benefits
of the shiboratory and all that um you know migration to ape chain and everything so i'm
really looking forward to that uh in the meantime in between time I did found my
own project as well uh over a year ago on ape chain one of the earliest builders on a chain
one of the earliest projects on a chain um and have been building and cooking solely uh uh as
as a solo artist and solo dev uh you name it so So between the pixel art, the 3D models, the contracts,
the DAP, everything just kind of been built by me
and for the community, it's still very much a one man team.
I'm just enjoying building, you know,
unapologetically and innovating within this space,
taking advantage of the existing metas,
creating my own metas,
that no doubt people will continue to try to replicate
and so on.
So, well, fix the box.
Only project, founded October last year.
We just had our one year anniversary in October.
And the day after I dropped the level of contracts contracts so it's an open-ended migration um
and it's a different approach to migrations normally you see people just drop your you
know assets from a different contract and just say okay the old assets are done uh you know
like the problem with that is you have people in the community who might have wape offers in
which is like the equivalent of weave for example on ape chain and uh and then people will just sell
assets that have no value to those wape offers uh after receiving the assets on the new contract and
i did not want people who are supporting the project enough to put in wave offers to be the one that's on you know the
receiving end of that bullshit so um the approach is a little bit you know innovative in that it's
an open-ended migration uh both contracts can coexist your pile can only exist in one so if
you make it you know if you're saying hey I don't really want to migrate to the files I don't want
to try utility and everything else you're doing totally up, I don't really want to migrate to the piles. I don't want to try.
And everything else you're doing.
Totally up to you.
You leave it in the old contract.
And it's fine.
It's an asset that's still there.
Still in the blockchain.
Still tradable.
It's still yours, right?
On the other hand, you can take that pile.
And you can migrate.
It's a burn to claim mechanism.
There is an eight cost.
To migrate it. And, you know, much like the earlier days of the migration,
that the power was 13-ape.
And people were like, oh, man, well,
I got to pay 8-ape to migrate.
And now the power is 100-ape.
So it's like, well, you probably should have migrated.
But the cool thing is it doesn't cost you
any more or less because of four price for lower price
juice crutch goes up it still costs you only a day um and so yeah i mean people are migrating now
in troves we're nearing 50 uh migration which for a 4 000 uh supply collection that's over a year old
uh and no doubt you're gonna have people who have assets in wallets that they probably haven't
looked at a while or maybe they just left the space or whatever the case may be in the last year
there's definitely going to be these piles or just lying torment and you know some wallet somewhere
and that's okay but the large majority of the piles um to this migration that actually do migrate
uh it kind of shows you like these are the people around.
These are the active people.
And I think creating this way of migrating
allows that to be highlighted.
And what we're doing to be highlighted
and shown through the new value and the new assessment
of the value of the assets that's
kind of dictated by the community on this secondary contract
and what people value that
listing and so on. So it's a really cool way to approach migration, to approach airdrops
of the same asset in a new collection. And the reasons why you would want to do it are
really, that's actually a lot. So one is the new contract, the art is on chain, right?
So you can, and it's fully customizable.
So you can change the name of your pile.
You can change the background color.
You can equip and unequipped traits.
If you migrate right off the bat, every OG trait you had on that pile becomes a wearable, right?
So action has a 3D counterpart that reflects on your 3d avatar as well so when you go update
let's say you have a hoodie you unequip a hoodie it's going to unequip the hoodie from your 2d pfp
on chain but it's also going to update your avatar taking off that hoodie as well
where you can use it currently in experiences like the other side but i'm looking to make it
more interoperable be in places like nifty island the central and and all these other metaverses that support you
know 3d avatars and so on so that's like kind of the next phase for me is focusing on the
interoperability part uh but but for now it's been amazing to just see how well received it's been
just in the other side as an asset. And that's the customization features.
That's the on-chain features.
In addition to that,
you know, I built a way to kind of allow people to have transparency
into what these piles own, because this
this ecosystem that I built essentially is built around
your piles over time, accumulating and traits that increases
different drops such as badge claims or showing up to a certain event and being able to
get airdropped a trade to your piles or uh participating in these these uh pack minting so revealing some trade cards and then applying
those trade cards adds those traits to your pals inventory and so like all these are just
examples that you know I've done already as way to distribute these types of traits that
people add to their files increasing their value and there's of course many more ways to distribute and innovate
on top of that uh but outside of the customization outside of all that stuff you have an on-chain
inventory system which is literally like a web page built on chain for every pile so you're
going to open c right now and you click on uh you know from the level of contract not the og
open C right now and you click on uh you know from the level of contract not the OG you click
on a pal you're gonna have a web page search to you directly where the PMP is and you can click
the toggle to see the inventory that's everything that power owns trades overlays and all that uh
and then you know Rick talked about the economy that allows you to earn it passively over time. I created the first on-chain creator economy that allows holders to contribute to the aesthetic of the collection by literally creating pixel art traits that will be hosted on the contract on-chain.
And then they earn ape while people collect it from them.
Case in point, you make a cool little hat
you pay one ape to add it to the contract it's a fixed fee one eight but just like it's a fixed
fee for you as a creator to add the contract one ape uh the cr the holders who want to use that hat
that you created have to pay 0.25 to unlock it you get 80 of every sale forever so after five sales you made your one eight
back and every subsequent sale after that you're going to continue to get 0.28 forever as long as
people collect and curate your creations to add it to their piles so they can edit their piles and
put that trade on uh some you know you find your niche you find what you like to create what other people are collecting and you'll do very well
we've had people create things like
super saiyan, you know, uh
Like aura and shit like that
And dude had hella sales on that shit and he only paid one ape had like almost 30 sales already so far
And so he's made like six times as much as his investment background right
examples of like what you can do with this creator economy the coolest thing is all these are on
chain and all these are part of the the uh the 2d uh traits right they won't create a 3d counterpart
because they're not official traits but they do reflect on your pfp so you could be scrolling
down the marketplace and seeing your creations that people paid for and equipped to their pals
on their pops in the marketplace and you've seen your artwork on chain uh and in these
marketplaces and uh you can see right there your contributions to the collections and uh this is
what i created and this is what um you know ape chain saw and decided to include pixel piles as
the only uh nft project in their current banter campaign uh this is a campaign
that they're doing with a company banter that they are distributing 50k uh across the top like 200
holder uh uh people on the leaderboard or something like that and uh yeah we were fortunate enough to be included into this campaign alongside really big defy apps
marketplaces and
so on as
the only
NFT project and it was because of this on chain creator economy that I built and
Yeah, I mean I just been very fortunate
I'm very quick on
responding to community feedback creating and innovating on top of that.
And, and I just, I like to build.

I remember I bought a top 5% pixel pal for 0.28.

that at the beginning a lot of people had like hesitations about Ape Chain and stuff.
So there wasn't that much momentum as well.

20 collections that I remember seeing on Ape Chain doing actual numbers.

but that was just people trying everything they could to try and get
something to stick whereas like you came out with uh you came out with something solid from the
beginning and it's just grown man even now when i go look at the floor price you know it's up like
30 on the day um well that's what it says on magic eden anyway but i know that it's on open sea i
went to go scoop one sitting at 128 floor i mean again
this is off a free mint it's it's crazy it's crazy it's crazy to think that when you look at it as
well when you go in magic eden when you fast forward today and you look at like the top 10
collections that come up and you see pixel pals and then on top of that you see pixel pals the
level up so it's not even just one collection it's both collections and they're both fascinating and what's important to understand is we've got to
look into the future here when you have someone that's created uh an area where you can actually
go and create a trait you pay the one eight whatever but you generate revenue let's not forget
that ape coin has proven that it can handle a 2.5 billion dollar market cap
let's let's let's not ignore the facts when you look at how apecoin is at the moment a lot of
investors are laughing at it because of the price and you look at the chart whatever forget that
when you look at the use cases that apecoin has now compared to what it didn't have
i mean it was just an airdrop to give holders a bit of extra cash but now look at it
it's a household name it's eight coin is everywhere eight chain is everywhere so even if you're making
imagine that eight coin being at five dollars you're making a lot of money
yeah yeah i mean it's definitely one of those things where it's like
you know um you just spend a couple minutes of your time like you could you could come up with
some really cool stuff in like a minute and you spend a minute and one ape and you never really
think about it too much and if it's something that's really cool people are editing their
piles they come across this and they're like whoa i really want to put that on my pile. And now you're collecting sales.
You're making ape passively through community creation for something that you just spent a minute and one ape on.

capabilities of blockchain i mean i i don't think there are a lot of people realize that you can do
this type of thing i will say even established artists right so like the the collab that i did with evan hilton
and shot evan hilton he was actually using the overlay editor like as an artist he was jumping in
trying this thing and creating his own overlays getting sales and just like just like any other
holder was contributing to the aesthetic of the collection
and i got to meet him in the other side and uh yeah i mean we we ended up making a difference so
it's definitely something i like i encourage you like try some stuff you know you never know like
you might be a really dope pixel artist in disguise and you never tried it so you know try
it out i mean you might surprise yourself or at least you'll earn some eight back uh cover that investment but also might even come
back and make some profit from just a little bit of your time so um you know try it out try it out
yeah that's what i'm saying it's just like that's that's quite it's kind of the best utility right because you're getting
entertainment you're making like some sort of financial gain even if it's like small in the
beginning you know you can go crazy and do a hundred or two hundred different packs that people
might buy you know make a full collection there's so many possibilities but the thing that i like
the most about it is just to to display the
capability of what's going to be possible on the other side almost almost exactly like a game so
you're not stuck with this one avatar that that like you have to use you can personalize it to you
and then have that avatar on the other side live straight away you know within milliseconds you playing as you
like something you've designed something you've created even which is even on on that next level
that's been the coolest part like i don't even think there's many games like can you do that
you can't even do that on call of duty like you can't go design it's kind of like it's not even design right but it's i think in this
scenario it's kind of like like a fortnight or roblox where you know where you can kind of have
these like different traits for different categories and put them together however you want
and you know i gamified wearables essentially through like a pack ripping experience uh much
like you know opening a pack of christmas uh
pokemon cards or some shit like that but these are wearables and so uh in addition to just the
gamification the the uh you know the the chasers and every pack of legendaries that everybody's
trying to get um there's also just like being able to mix and match through these, these trade cards that you collected over time, uh, whether it be, you know,
from directly from opening a pack or maybe even from secondary,
the coolest thing about this is that everything is, is, uh, a tradable asset.
You can trade, uh, the packs before you open them, uh,
and somebody else can open it,
or you can reveal cards and then trade those cards as well in secondary.
Or you could just use them.
And people are coming up with really cool combinations from assets that they have,
regardless of where they acquired it.
And influencing other people, even influencing myself,
to go and put those traits together to replicate their combinations like
I put on uh the solar mass uh and like a red glowy because I saw uh chulo with that with that uh
combination and the other side because it just looks so dope together like and you know they're
coming up with wild creations that like, like I could never have considered.
And this is a complete opposite from when I dropped the collection.
When I first dropped Pixel Piles, I created a custom generator.
I think you remember this.
There was so many constraints that I built into this generator saying, if the pile had this trait or this body, it could never have this other trait. And there were so
many different constraints that I built in, in order to get the collection to be the way I wanted
it to be aesthetically. And then this level up throws all that out the window. It gives you
access to customize your piles, however you want, whatever combination constraints that i had before don't
exist anymore you have full control over the aesthetic of your both your pfp the 2d on-chain
art and your avatar the 3d avatar on the other side and uh and that's what's special about this
you know you're building and you can change it as many times you want throughout the day you're not
spending you're not paying me there's no cost for it to update your pile. You literally are just paying the tiny, tiny, tiny
gas for Ape Chain. And you can do it as often as you want throughout the day. So that same pile,
you can have collected a shit ton of traits for it and go in and out of the other side multiple
times a day with a different pile, you know? And so it's all the same pile but just aesthetically different
with each uh you know iteration that you that you update and save uh and so it's really cool man
it you know as a creator especially being like a solo creator and a whole year later to be able
to jump into the other side and always see piles like always it's it's a it's an amazing feeling you know yeah i can imagine
that's the best feeling right like just like that's all it's like hearing your song on the radio
if you like a musical artist it's kind of the same same vibe like you're walking around and
seeing your creation like running around people using it uh and i just keep thinking back to like the whole game gaming side of it and
how you know it's it really is you know web3 a lot of the the projects that we work with and and
are aligned with are all building you know like the moon ape labs like they also 3d
also constantly building pushing like the boundaries of 3d um and even like with editing and that type of thing so
like we always around these people that are innovating and it just goes to show that like
nft is definitely you know not dead there's like a lot of stuff happening on the back burner and
not on the even on the back burner but just behind the scenes in like a little back room cooking.
And it's good to just see that, you know, these things coming out.
It's good to see the fruits of the labor
and just the constant determination and grind
to get to that next level, right?
And that's exactly like what I've seen you do
is like just literally go lock yourself in the
back room and with a cooker and just cook and just keep coming out with the goods for the people.
And a lot of projects have fallen to the wayside and just not even shipping, not doing anything
anymore, just basically just done. And it's sad to see, but it's just good to see that so many around us
in our circle are just continuing to push forward. And it's especially, I think, inspiring when I see
things like that, like CryptoBully's good friend of mine, like launching some, you know,
I don't want to say groundbreaking technology because maybe that's
like it you know blowing it up like but it really is in a sense because look at the rest of the the
community in terms of like the other side and not many have even gone down that route and that's
like you know you have to be like in this space you need to be a trailblazer in order to kind of lead the way and get people to start moving in a certain direction.
And I think that you've kind of done that, you know, because now there's a certain pressure on other projects, especially big ones like Yuga and them.
Like, well, why can't I do that with my Bored Ape?
Why can't I do that with my mutant?
You know, why can't I swap trades, change my mutant's name? You know, why is my mutant token 3426?
I want it to be called Rick, you know, but like, why can't I do that? And, and so I think that
when, when people do take a leap and they push in a direction that maybe not many projects have,
and they push in a direction that maybe not many projects have,
and then it gains some sort of traction,

Uh owns owns assets, right? These assets are actually the traits, okay?
Um, and so you can own multiple traits for each category
And you know, you can only have one equipped or maybe you have none equipped, but you chose to unequip it.
And so, you know, in terms of having visibility into what you're buying, like, I wanted people to be able to see, okay, this pile that you're buying actually has all these things.
It could be traits.
It could be overlays that you purchased and supported a community creator to unlock.
So you can see views, you can see overlays,
you can see traits all in the inventory system
right there that are owned by that pile.
So when you buy it, you know exactly what you're getting,
you know exactly what customization options
you have off the rip because you know you
can see it right there uh you won't be able to see that you know um in the filterable traits in
the marketplace that was never built for something like this just didn't exist before so you know
with innovation sometimes you got to build these things in order to uh you know get the get the
message across and allow people to to buy confidently
right like right now you can actually see okay this pile has this trade from this trade drop
and now i don't gotta buy that trade card because i buy this pile and i have the trade already on
the top for example right um so yeah i mean it's a it's a lot uh of full. Some stuff will go over some people's heads, undoubtedly
because it is so much.
I just like building.
This is one of the things I built.
I've just seen
a filter I love on
OpenSeat. There's tiny
pearls. It's so funny.
It's like a tiny little
pearl. I'm definitely going to apply that to one of them. That's like a tiny little pearl bro i'm gonna i'm definitely gonna apply
that that's actually a view so what you just talked about you said filter right that's actually a view
right so um on chain uh pixel art uh is actually you'll get svgs right uh and so what i realized
is like you know you know some people will create a toggle to have
like a pfp versus like a full body and all these other stuff and so i was creating those iterations
those variants uh with uh svg transformation that's just like where you can change the size the rotation like you can you can change the the orientation of the static
2d uh s3g with transformation and i was like wait a second like if i'm doing that like why don't i
make that another tool another feature right and so that's what i did. Any view, much like any overlay created by the community wallet, I mean, the deployer wallet, so like the actual contract owner, those are free to use.
And so I said, you know what, I'll make a full body view. I'll make a full body and a PFP view and so on right um but i i added the tooling so much
like you can pay one ape to create your own overlay and add that to the contract you can
add your own view and you're basically using these like these draggable bars um in order to
uh change the orientation like you can stretch it you can shrink Like you can stretch it, you can shrink it, you can rotate it, you can skew it, and you're
creating your own view that anybody can unlock and apply to their pile.
So just like you said, oh, I want to apply that tiny pile.
You can.
That's a view that's actually.
But wait, bro.
So if I apply that, will I be like a little tiny pearl on the
other side yeah no way no no no no no no no no no no it won't be no no it's your pfp but it'll
just update your pfp no no no okay but i won't go small on the other side i won't no no no no
i was thinking bro imagine being that that's you can't there's there this size constraints in the other side and we kind of already at that around one eight
height one one meter height
and like that's like the minimum right so you
We're a little bit we're a little bit taller than that especially because we got these bigger heads
And then we got some traits on top of the head and stuff, but there's like a minimum and a maximum height that you can have

Some people kind of go under or over a little bit and you know, whatever they get slapping the wrist but

That's really just oh shell of bus mass and it's ice, but that's that's really just for your
PFT you know saying like so the pixel art is what gets changed and it's on chain, right?

svg transformation uh so think of it as like a set of rules of how to render your pixel that's
what a view is and so you can create your own view and i've seen people do like upside down
i i made one called roadkill and it was like, just kind of squish it backwards, stretch it out, lay it down
and that's like Roadkill.
And so you can then just apply that
to your pile and now your pile is rendered
as like this Roadkill
orientation.
It's just like a fun little D-gen thing.

was this tiny little pearl and i was like what yeah yeah so that's using the time like i created
that one i was doing like a stream and i'll show people the views like just like i was showing on

think i created that tiny power one of Of course, anybody could create a view.
So I don't know if the one you saw
is the one that I created or not.
But if you look at that pal,
you can see who the creator is.
You can see the wallet
of each of the views
and overlays that that pal owns.
So there is that attribution and credit
to the creators of these uh uh community created
overlays and views as well directly visible inside the inventory system stuff you know yeah no it's
just adding some cool yeah it's just it's just a little bit of customization you know for
